So a bit sad ask. Burying your cat, the kids are sad and they are confused why it happened , so the reader and max/george kinda have to explain about what happened (introduction about life and death) , reader is extra sad cause its the cat she know for a long time
I just buried one of the strey cat that stay around my house so.......🙃 Yeahhhh so hug your pet please for meeee
Note: I'm so sorry 🥺 sending you a big big hug ✨️
Cw: death of a pet (cat), mentions burial and talking to kids about death
"I'm afraid, but there's nothing we can do", the vet said as you and Max sighed, stroking Jimmy's fur as he laid down on his carrier, cuddled up to the blanket. The cat hadn't been behaving like he usually does, and after the kids pointed out the same, you took him to the vets. After a couple of scans and tests, they told you the worst news you expected to hear.
After prescribing medications to keep him comfortable at home, you took your four pawed child home, your hand in Max's thigh as he drove while he rubbed the top of your palm with his thumb, "want to share what's on your mind?", you mumbled.
"It's... I knew this would happen someday, but it's sad still", Max spoke after gathering his thoughts for a bit, "I know, I feel the same. At least he can be home with us, and he won't be in pain", you attempted at lightning the mood.
When you woke up to Sassy tapping the duvet, your heart squeezed as you shook your husband awake, "Max", you called as he noticed the scene, knowing why you woke him up before the alarm. In their cat beds, Jimmy laid perfectly still, no other movements other than Sassy meowing and trying to get him to move by touching his nose.
You brought them downstairs, preparing the spot in the garden once the kids woke up, "I'm sad, mama", Finn finally spoke as Julia stayed in Max's lap, her little hand clutching his t-shirt as she cried quietly.
"It's okay to feel sad, my love, and to cry, too", you explained, "everything you feel is valid, okay? And we are all here to go through this together", you smiled sadly, Max squeezing your hand in his.
"Why does this happen?", Julia asked honestly, "we'll, princess, this is a part of life. Jimmy got to live many, many years with us - he was a lot older than you and Finn - and now he got sick. He was in a little bit of pain, that's why me and mama gave the medications. And he got to be very loved for all of it", Max tried his best to explain to the little girl, "it's not fair", she chirped in, "I know, Julia", he said, kissing the top of her head.
"Is Sassy going to die, too?", Finn spoke up, his mind taking him one step further as Julia looked up at her parents so she could hear the answer, "one day, yes. The doctor said we don't have anything to worry about, Sassy is very healthy and should have some healthy years left. But yes, it will happen", you explained.
"Well", Finn said as he pushed Sassy closer to the four of you, "when we're going to continue to love you so wo so much, Sassy", he declared.
After saying one last goodbye in the garden, you and Max prepared a little station so the kids could make a scrapbook, using the small printer to print out photos of the best memories you had with Jimmy, "is this me?", Julia asked at the picture where the cats where smelling the new baby, "That's Finn, actually, it was the first day we brought him home. When we brought you home, the cats were so excited we didn't even take a picture of the first time you met them, but this one here is you", you grabbed it, showing her a picture of her taking a nap with the cats around her, "I was so tiny", she commented.
"This was the day Jimmy accidentally fell in the pool", Finn showed Max, who was glueing down the last sticker down on the page, giggling as the memory came up, "he had to swim to the edge and mama helped him out, he even scratched her hand, remember?", he recalled before showing it to Julia, "you were little still, but you should've seen him! He just swam as hard as he could!".
When Max put the kids to bed, he found you sitting against the headboard of your bed, Sassy on your lap and your hands stroking the soft fur, stopping when the wiped your cheeks, "hey, liefje", Max said, taking off his t-shirt and climbing next to you as you cuddled his naked torso as Sassy went back to the cat bed, "they're the first cats I truly cared over - you know my family are mostly dog people - and it's sad", you pouted, "remember when he kept biting my ankles when I first came over to your flat?", you giggled as Max did the same, "yes! I was so embarrassed because I thought you'd never want to come back", Max added, "Oh, so many memories with that little fur ball".
(Thank you for your submission ✨️)

Bookshelf Tours All for the Game
I had to rearrange my shelves recently - my CD collection was lined up on top of my laundry bin, but it just got too big, and needed a full shelf. It was the perfect opportunity to make an "All for the Game" shelf, and finally have them all lined up together!
1. This is the Italian version, and it's a gorgeous hardback omnibus edition! It's the only hardback edition I've found (so far - I can't wait for the Rainbow Crate editions!) and it's also the only omnibus edition I've seen.
2. These are the French editions. The covers are really cool, and the titles translate to "Well Hidden Secrets", "Never Give Up", and "A Reason to Live". Honestly, I love that. Such cool titles!
3. The "Pipe Dream" fanzine by @llstarcasterll is so, so cool! It's full of the most gorgeous artwork, so is totally worth buying if you can get your hands on it. If I was flush with cash, I'd buy like, six of them, so I could pull them apart and put the pictures on my wall, in my diary, in my scrapbook.
4. The Spanish covers use the same artwork as the French ones, so I probably didn't need both, but I'm obsessive. These ones have the advantage of having really awesome chapter heading art.
5. These are the Russian editions. The artwork is, I believe, by @kiiakostet. This is some of my absolute favourite AFTG artwork, and I wish they were available as dustjackets for the English editions.
6. And speaking of dustjackets: These replacement jackets are by @llstarcasterll. They're beautiful, and I love how the spines look! I'm really looking forward to getting the "Raven Cycle" and "The Sunshine Court" jackets by the same artist. No idea where they'll go, though, the shelf is full!
7. And these are the @ouijacine jackets! I also have the prints of the artwork framed on my "All for the Game" art wall, so with this book facing outwards, it just looks like I'm super obsessed with this particular artwork. Oh wait. I am.
8. The originals. The ugly, terribly designed English language originals. I love them so much. These copies are messy and well-thumbed, and stuffed to bursting with colour co-ordinated page tabs. They are more annotation than book, at this point.
9. Ok. Technically, this isn't AFTG. But these copies of "The Raven Cycle" get a space on the shelf because the jackets are also designed by @ouijacine. Also, it makes the book stack sit at the exact perfect height.
10a. Special mention for the shelves above and below. The shelf above is my "Leigh Bardugo" collection, including some collector's editions, those gorgeous Illumicrate editions of the Nikolai duology, several beautiful copies of the Alex Stern books, and "The Familiar", which I still haven't read.
10b. The shelf below is the reason for the rearrange. I needed a long shelf, and a ridiculously tall one. These are my BTS albums. Yeah, I'm that person now. I actually still have a fair few to get, so there's a chance I'm going to overfill this shelf too. You can just see a couple of my boys peeping out over the top of the CDs, in flip photo form. I want to get one for each of the members, but weverse shipping is fucking extortionate.
At the moment, these all fit perfectly on this shelf, but with the many editions of the TSC duology I'm going to be buying, and the Rainbow Crate hardback editions? Yeah, I'm gonna need a bigger shelf.

it has arrived!! I had the absolute pleasure of binding @veryqueerdraws zoro/luffy comic Diamond Tiger and i can't believe it's finally made it!!! this was such a fun and unintentionally complex bind, and i'm very pleased with how it turned out. the pictured iteration is actually the third case i built and the second textblock i printed, so at a certain point this bind became like... a theseus's ship kinda book. very entertaining to make.
this is a skinny three-piece bradel (flat spine) style, probably my go-to with books of this length (and books with more involved multi-piece cover construction.) The book's endsheets are black and gold marbled red lokta, and the covers are made from a combination of that same paper and a flowery white-core scrapbook paper. The cover isn't layered and is instead comprised of 60+ individual pieces; I used the same principle for the back, though there were fewer pieces.
as you can see, the titling on the cover is the doujin's title itself, which isn't a font--it's part of the cover art and was drawn by @ozo-blog!! i couldn't find anything similar, and honestly? it's very lovely. it was pretty challenging to do (and ultimately resulted in the death of version two, may it rest in peace), but in the end it made such a neat effect and i'm super glad it worked out. i spent a fair bit of time fiddling around with a portion of the cover image in photoshop until I had a couple of clean sections of the title and then (several iterations later) made a stencil out of it. the final version took three layers: heat foiling by hand, gel ink (to yellow the color a little and fill in some gaps), and an outline layer of machine adhesive foil.
i think one more iteration would have given me a chance to perfect the different processes (ive since stopping using adhesive foil because u can see the smaller letters have a tendency to slide off into oblivion if you breathe wrong), and overall i think i learned more during this bind than i have in any other so far. i have "gained exp" and "leveled up", as they say. (just a little joke for the gamers in the audience)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i also made a multi-layered longstitch blank book for ozo!! this one went through a few iterations as well, and i think i ultimately succeeded in my goal of making something 1) lightweight 2) that lays flat no matter where you open it. It features a green black/gold marble lokta to compliment the red marble i used on diamond tiger and 24lb fill in white, black, and "kraft" brown. this was VERY fun to make, and i was almost completely perfect save for a moisture warp on one side of the cover. as with diamond tiger, i learned quite a lot and am overall very proud of how it turned out :3 i'll be making more journals and sketchbooks like this in the future, i can feel it.

As a recovering reader myself, I am here to remind you that if you want to read more but are struggling, you have full permission to do any and all of the following:
Read the ending first, or look up the big spoilers.
Read a summary first, or scene by scene.
Skip around passages/come back to them when you're more ready
Watch the movie/read the graphic novel/look at the fanart first to pique your interest
Write/draw/highlight/scrapbook in the book itself (YOU ARE ALLOWED, assuming the book is yours! THIS MAKES IT A LOVED BOOK! You can also tip in pages specifically for this if you want more room - literally run some glue along the edge of a piece of paper, wedge it as deep as you can between two open pages, close the book and let it dry for a couple of minutes, and voila! Blank pages! I promise you ,you will not accidentally glue your book shut.)
Take the book up again even if it's been "too long" and guilt is telling you that you need to start over for some reason.
Listen to audiobooks only - it's real reading!! Reading is absorbing the words the author wrote, whether through a page recreated by a printing press or a page recreated by the sounds of a human voice!
Speed up or slow down the audiobook
Read at your own speed without regard to challenges or comparison
Use a device
Read the words out loud or under your breath
Have fifteen books on the go at once, or just one
Give up on a book that's not working for you at all, and find a fresh one that works better
Never track your reading
Track your reading meticulously and become addicted to your stats
Make reading more social by reading aloud to someone else, blogging your reading, obnoxiously talking your friend's ear off - whatever you like!
And yes, you can also keep your experience spoiler free, read straight through, keep your book in pristine condition, track your stats meticulously etc. etc.! Those are wonderful too. The point is, don't sabotage your reading with "shoulds," be gentle with yourself, and set yourself up to enjoy it. I'm three years into my recovering reader project, and I still have to be gentle with myself about habits I want to embrace but am not quite there yet.

could you walk us through what notebooks & journals & pens /etc you use - they look so good!
Tumblr media
I would be SO happy to, you have no idea!!
Tumblr media
Alright, let's fucking GOOOO~
Tumblr media
Starting off with my current "workhorse" pens - I have like *checks notes* 36 fountain pens and a bit too many inked up atm, but these are just the ones I'm currently reaching for or have inked up more often than not:
TWSBI Go (F): Kinda ugly! But also kinda cute! It's cheap and works great (I friggin love TWSBI pens tbh) and it has a little hole on the cap where you can attach a lanyard or charms, like I did! Makes it cuter imo and it's kind of my emotional support pen these days.
Opus88 Pocket (EF): This 2022 edition has a little Moon tarot design on the cap so it's pretty much the pen I use exclusively for my witchy/tarot practice journals! A lil bummed the cap doesn't post, especially since its a shorter pocket-sized pen, but not a deal breaker and I still love it.
Pilot Custom 823 (F): My grail pen that I've literally coveted for years and just recently acquired at the DC Pen Show this weekend! It's only been a day but I think it could potentially become my favorite pen. Ever.
Pilot Prera (CM): This is my third Prera lol. I just think they're great and really underrated pens! Also a recent acquisition from the DC Pen Show and this cursive M nib is suuuuper fun to write with.
Pilot Vanishing Point (EF): My favorite pen for planning! Super fine-tipped for writing task lists and schedules and love that it's so convenient/quick-draw with the click mechanism.
(I'm totally a Pilot pen ho, can you tell? asdjflaglsg)
Journals/Planners/Notebooks under cut–
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sterling Ink B6 Common Planner: For a good chunk of this year, I was in this planner because I honestly love the size and all the layouts. Super practical and flexible as a system. 10/10 would go back. I've used it to plan, as a reading journal, as a tarot log...
But I get the itch to move around so it's been sitting a little unused since like June, oop.
Tumblr media
Leuchtturm A6: I started craving something tiny and minimal so I've been bullet journaling in this pocket notebook for the last month or two and I'm really enjoying it!
Tumblr media
Standard-sized Tomoe River Paper notebook: This is pretty consistent in that I don't change up the system itself, but I'm in and out of it for memory keeping/scrapbook journaling! It's almost always a Tomoe River paper notebook of SOME kind that I usually buy in A5 size to go to FedEx and get it cut down to standard. Though I'm thinking of getting a blank Midori MD A5 to have cut down next time - I've been liking the freedom of blank pages for journaling instead of anything lined or gridded.
I really need to catch up with it tbh, but I love sitting in an explosion of printed photos, stickers, and washi and going ham with the pages.
(I do have a flip through of my January-March 2022 pages on YouTube)
Tumblr media
Midori MD Cotton B6 Slim: I also have this sketchbook that sorta turned into a visual sketch diary of sorts. I fell off a while ago but want to get back into it because it's super fun to work in and to look back on!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wide-sized Cosmo Air Light notebook & A5 Filofax Malden: These are my tarot/witchy journals. Grimoires I guess? One is for journaling and all my messier notes while the other is more for reference and ease of organization.
Tumblr media
A5 Leuchtturm: I didn't know if I should include this guy, but I've been writing it in a lot recently so I guess I will lol. This is like truuuly a miscellaneous™ notebook.
I got this A5 notebook back in 2017 to use as my very first bullet journal, then found out that this size is personally waaaay too big for me to use as a bullet journal so I hopped off of it pretty quick. It now sits on my desk because since it's mostly blank I'll just pick it up to use it to write literally A N Y T H I N G.
Most recently, I wrote like 5 pages in one night on notes for a fanfiction piece I was working on (I'm not a writer, this fic is never gonna see the light of day by anyone but me lololol. Hyperfixation is so wild; I've put 80k+ words within just 10 days into it so far and it's been hella therapeutic.)
Tumblr media
That's all, I think!?
It's funny because I actually have a NEW notebook arriving tomorrow that I'm going to try out as a bujo/commonplace/omni journal of sorts?? I might write an update post after I've set that up and see how I like it <3

⸝⸝ note : hii, anon ! i'm not sure if this is what you had in mind, but i hope you enjoy it either way :DD might as well do a little something-something for the holiday season <33
Tumblr media
Hanamichi Sakuragi 🌸
he'll accept anything, to be honest !
maybe some cool shoes ? some funky shirts ? a box of red hair dye ? he'll cherish them all !!
or maybe just plain money, he's not picky ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
if anything, though, i feel like he'd prefer a hangout as a gift rather than material items, ykwim ? i'm talking trips to the amusement park with his friends, window-shopping through shops that he'll never be able to afford (SOBS) point is, he'd rather spend quality time with his friends rather than wish for material things <33
he'd probably bullshit his wishlist though, like he'll write down a whole recipe like "Let's prepare the ingredients you need for honey chicken .. !! :DD"
Tumblr media
Ryota Miyagi ⚡
ayako
no but he'd actually write her name down as a joke ... but is it really a joke ...
honestly this is a tough one, but just like Sakuragi I think he'll accept anything as long as the thought's in it :DD
i feel like he'd like some candy, though ?? specifically sour candy, as sour as he can handle !! or just plain food stuff in general ! nothing like receiving food for xmas amirite or amirite
like sakuragi he'll also bullshit his wishlist like "Congratulations Ma'am/Sir, you've won a BRAND NEW IPHONE !! Text ur COMPLETE NAME / AGE / ADDRESS / # / CREDIT CARD INFO to claim !! Congratulations !!!! :O :O :O"
Tumblr media
Kaede Rukawa 💤
cats. that's it. that's all you need to know.
cat plushies, cat notebooks, cat pens, cat toys, actual cats, big cats, small cats, he'll take them all
and you know what ... throw in a neck pillow for him as well . he needs his sleep yk, don't wanna wake up to a stiff neck in the middle of bball practice
AND !! new earphones, in case the one he's using breaks down and you know he needs his music to function (and also to block out a certain redhead when he gets too noisy....)
Tumblr media
Hisashi Mitsui 🦷
polident denture adhesive
also a hard one to think for, actually ! but i think he'd like some basketball magazines, maybe even sportswear ! some good ol' posters of his favorite bball players would be nice too .
he would also appreciate a kneepad, in red and black just like the one he currently uses ! AND he'll fold if you give him shoes, trust me i was there to witness it
OH !! and comics ; i feel like he'd like comics aa
Tumblr media
Kiminobu Kogure 👓
my first thought ? books ! any type, he doesn't mind, but he does have a preference for historic novels, and thrillers/mysteries are always really fun to get
my second thought ? those miniature dollhouse sets that you can build ! either that, or lego !! i headcanon him as someone who really likes to build those sets so :DD
also would like cardigans or sweaters, turtlenecks specifically ! he gotta stay warm for the cold winter season !!
Tumblr media
Takenori Akagi 🦍
oo boy ,, yet another tough one ! but just like mitsui i think he'll appreciate basketball magazines and merch ,, and maybe gym equipment ? doesn't even need to be branded or expensive, as long as it helps him work out
OOH and books too ! much like kogure he likes books too, and for him any will do !! (and don't tell anyone this but he'd kill for a nice romance book shh)
Tumblr media
Haruko + Ayako
haruko strikes me as someone who likes to scrapbook, if that even makes sense ?? like, she likes to cut and paste stuff she thinks is interesting and put them in a notebook dedicated to such things, and even write little annotations on the sides !
and because of that i think she'll like brush pens and pastel-colored highlighters !! she'd love some stickers too, and prints that she can rip up and arrange in her own special way ; shes so cute ilhsm
AND AYAKO !! ayako .. gives it girl energy. And because of that I think that she'll put clothes in her wishlist ! bell bottoms, flare pants, crop tops, tank tops, the list goes on. She'd love some shiny hair pins too ! magpie ayako supremacy !!
ALSO remember the caligraphy she wrote after shohoku lost to kainan ?? because of that i think she'd also like some good quality brushes and inks to write with :DD

Draw out your picture, can be directly on the page or a cutout. For this piece i did a cutout
Tumblr media
I use more of my memo paper and scrapbook paper when I use cutouts, and before sticking anything down, I arrange everything into a design I like.
At this point i try to keep a color scheme in mind, I match the papers to the main colors of the piece, or for whatever vibe i’m going for. For instance if i was doing an underwater theme, I would stick to mainly blues.
In this case my colors are black, pink, and white. I sometimes deviate from the color scheme when its small stickers, but the majority follows the scheme.
Tumblr media
Take note of any negative space, focus on those areas first.
Tumblr media
Washi tape is one of the first steps for me. I tried to think of both the color scheme and theme. Theme isn’t super important, especially if you only have a few rolls of tape, but I try to match it with the image even vaguely.
cat, maid, cute- I tried to match these themes. If you really want to you could even go with a tech theme. I usually try to make the theme either what is explicitly shown or what matches the personality.
Tumblr media
The biggest stickers go down before anything else. This is the time I use my planner and decal stickers. Most of the time the planner stickers have words on them but have no actual meaning, they are there because of their color, sometimes however, I put a couple planner stickers with a cheeky saying to poke fun at the characters, the “get it girl” being an example. Decal stickers are to go with the theme as well. Neko milk sticker is self explanatory, kuromi fits the cutesy theme.
Tumblr media
Now is when i try looking for smaller stickers, and stickers of different types.
Following the theme, I put paw prints around the page
I like for nearly all my stickers to have some relevancy towards the plot or character or theme. This is not necessary and I don’t always follow this
Easy stickers to find/use regardless of theme are hearts, stars, and smiley faces. Hearts are always my go-to
Tumblr media
I add more stickers to places that feel too empty, and I remove a few stickers I feel clash with the image. At this point I could consider this page done, however I want to get rid of any blank paper showing through.
Tumblr media
I finish off with deco stickers, as they are very small. Whenever otacon is involved I like to use my computer themed stickers- and with huey I like to be either mean or ironic, hence the bad and devil stickers and then the “angel” sticker near him
Tumblr media
Completely optional step- cover the page.
Be sure to take off any 3D stickers or embellishments beforehand, put them back on after covering.
In my journal, color/ink transfer happens a lot- especially if i use my gel pens. Instead of busting out the fixative spray, I like to cover my page in a shimmery laminate sticker. I also use clear plastic to cover the page, taping it over the page. The clear plastic is always Recycled, mainly from sticker sheets, the packaging or the sheet itself. Sometimes i use ziploc bags, once I even taped in tissue paper as a divider.
Tumblr media
That’s everything!!! Feel free to ask any questions!!!

It's been a few weeks since I had new books to share, but I finally got photos taken of the newest ones so today's the day. Here, have a book:
Tumblr media
This is Across Tides and Currents, a Good Omens siren AU by Sodium_Azide and @doorwaytoparadise (hi. I hope I tagged you right). My favorite thing about this AU is that, at its heart, it's about learning to communicate with someone who is so different from you that you can't even physically speak each other's language, and yet you've still got so much common ground that you find a way. It's way lighter and more fun than that description makes it sound, though, so go read it if that's your thing.
The cover on this is Lineco book cloth, scrapbook paper printed to look like leather, and blue foil htv. The foil was actually a nightmare to do. The first time I applied it, it wouldn't stick no matter what I did, and the bits that did stick peeled off as soon as I touched them. I had to peel them up very carefully, cut a new image, and try again. Thankfully it worked the second time but I don't know that I'll be using the foil type again unless there's no other way to get the color I want. The non-foil metallic was so much easier to work with.
More book photos under the cut!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I went with a coptic bind for this one for a few reasons. The first was that I wanted to try one on a quarto-size book to see if I could. I also wanted to try the mitered corners thing I did when I bound Strange Moons, and see if I could have the same effect on the interior. (That bit didn't work out so well; the front is fine but I mismeasured the inside and the lines didn't match up, so I trimmed some pieces of cardstock to cover that up. I really like the layered look though, so that's fine. It's quirky.) The third reason is that not long before I decided to bind this one, the authors published a new chapter after two years of no updates. That's the best possible reason to have to change plans, and the glueless bind means that if they ever do that again I can just redo the stitching to add more pages. Win-win.
Tumblr media
Getting whimsical with title pages here. This took way longer than I thought it would, probably because I don't like graphic design and I did it in Word where I do the rest of my typesetting. Usually what I do is grab an image and put text around it or on top of it and then just play with fonts and sizes, but this time I drew the lines and then made the text follow them. This is the first time I've used the word art feature since...probably 2009? I'd forgotten how. I have no doubt there are better ways to do this but if I'd had to learn a new program at that point I'd have quit. And I do think it was worth it--it's cute and fun and looks about how I imagined it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Couple of photos of the inside. Sorry the first one's blurry, I had someone trying to get my attention when I took these. The section break image came from rawpixel, I just made it gray instead of black so it's more subtle. The fic has very nice illustrations that I specifically got the artist's permission to print and then I failed to get any photos of them when I did my little photo shoot. They look very nice, though. I swear.
The last image is something I've started including in my latest books. I'm calling them "A Note from the Bookbinder" and it's basically just me talking about why I chose that story, the experience of reading it for the first time, stuff that's going on in the fandom, stuff about the process like the new chapter coming out as I was preparing to print. It's kind of...like marginalia? Part of fanbinding is preservation and that's linked to archival work, and something I know archivists love is marginalia and diaries. I don't like writing in my books and I've never found any fun in journaling, but sometimes that kind of context is important so I'm trying to add it. Someday, decades from now, I may not remember all the details, so I'm trying to preserve them. IDK, this got philosophical on me. Go read about mermaids now. Promise it's a good time.

[cater + honmei]
"ah cater!"
i finally caught up to cater and has been looking for him for hours, but now that he's finally in front of me i feel like running away for some reasons. but of course i didnt. i handed him my gift.
"after learning that you don't really like sweet things, i figured i better give you other things so ,uhm, i made a photo album with our pictures together. i know you prefer posting photos than physical copies but i still hope you'll like them. happy valentines!"
Sweet on You.
Tumblr media
He was among the roses when you found him. Heartslabyul students and roses—they went together like bees and honey.
His smile was laidback, as picturesque as the flowers in bloom. He propped his phone against his chin. “Hey, what’s up? Been lookin’ for Cay-kun?”
Your stomach did backflips and cartwheels as you approached. You were already a jumbled mess from searching for Cater all over campus. At this point, your feet were preemptively flighty and raring to take off again. It took all your willpower to keep yourself grounded, to focus on the task ahead.
You thrusted out a thick book.
“Huh, is this your Valentine’s Day gift for me?” The question was posed in a teasing tone, Cater slipping the tome from your hands. “Thanks for thinking of me and keeping my tastes in mind~ You know me so well!
“I’ll check it out now, okay? I’m dying to know what you put together for me!”
He opened to the first page, and was immediately greeted by a plethora of memories. The first shy encounter to your first kiss, and the romance that spiraled into a whirlwind from there.
“Aww, it’s us. All of it is us.”
You had taken care to curate and print out selfies from various outings, then added flourishes and extra trimmings. Lace borders and decorative tape lined photos, stickers embellishing the corners. Gel pen doodles filled in the space between frames, the gaps between your love story.
Pictures worth a thousand words, and many, many more.
Cater grew quiet as he scanned page after page. The smile he had once worn had melted to give way to something more serene, more thoughtful.
“It’s fun to post on Magicam and all, but I can’t exactly be online all the time! Riddle’ll have my head if it’s glued to my phone, and I can’t do much if I’m in a place with bad signal.”
He shut the photobook gently, keeping his hand pressed to the cover. There is something tangible, something meaningful, beneath his fingertips.
“This can last forever, and I can keep it close to my heart without getting into trouble with my dorm leader,” Cater joked, winking. “Plus, scrapbooking’s all the rage these days~ Who knows, it could be a cute date night in activity for the future!”
He leaned forward, planting a quick kiss on your cheek. Your hand flew to the area, which was still warm from his touch.
Cater pulled back, wearing a grin both sly and sweet. “Just promise me that we can make lots more happy memories together for the books, ‘kay?~”

The Red Circle pt 1
What is the red circle? Who is the red circle? Why is the red circle?
“Well, Mrs. Warren, I cannot see that you have any particular cause for uneasiness, nor do I understand why I, whose time is of some value, should interfere in the matter. I really have other things to engage me.” So spoke Sherlock Holmes and turned back to the great scrapbook in which he was arranging and indexing some of his recent material.
I might be wrong, but I think this is the first time in the stories we've seen Holmes be dismissive and kind of rude to a client without having seen them give him a reason. And we can't even say that Mrs Warren hasn't given him a reason at this point, because the story starts in the middle of the conversation. She might have been a right arsehole prior to this.
But this story does start out with far more of the vibe of adaptations than I'm used to.
Scrapbooking is vitally important, though. Not to be interrupted.
But the landlady had the pertinacity and also the cunning of her sex.
Watson ensuring that we are reminded that sexism exists.
The following little speech Mrs Warren gives doesn't indicate that she was being terrible before this story started, so I guess Holmes really was just Like That here.
"Why, bless you, Mrs. Warren, if I were your lodger you often would not see me for weeks on end.” “No doubt, sir; but this is different. It frightens me, Mr. Holmes. I can't sleep for fright. To hear his quick step moving here and moving there from early morning to late at night, and yet never to catch so much as a glimpse of him—it's more than I can stand."
No, that's exactly what it would be like to have Holmes as a lodger. Only punctuated with strange people running up and down the stairs and with the occasional threat of violence against your property.
But maybe this guy is just a ghost. Ghosts deserve privacy, too.
Tumblr media
“He asked my terms, sir. I said fifty shillings a week. There is a small sitting-room and bedroom, and all complete, at the top of the house.” “Well?” “He said, ‘I'll pay you five pounds a week if I can have it on my own terms.’
Alright, now I'm suspicious. 50 shillings a week is £250, roughly. And £5 is twice that. Anyone who is willing to pay double for something is automatically suspicious. He's just handing out the equivalent of £100 in cash every fortnight. It's like the Copper Beeches all over again.
Tumblr media
“It was his particular direction that we should always, when he rang, leave his meal upon a chair, outside his door. Then he rings again when he has finished, and we take it down from the same chair. If he wants anything else he prints it on a slip of paper and leaves it.”
OK... I've got to assume at this point that the man in the rooms is not the man who rented the rooms. He went out, other guy came back. There's no other reason that no one would have seen him at all. Someone's hiding from something up there.
"What can it matter to him that his landlady should have a word of his writing? Still, it may be as you say. Then, again, why such laconic messages?”
Doesn't speak English and his first language is not written in the Roman alphabet, I'd guess. Single words mean not needing to construct sentences, printing would be easier for someone not used to the alphabet. This coupled with the title of the story makes me think Russia.
“But surely you or the girl enter his room of a morning?” “No, sir; he looks after himself entirely.” “Dear me! that is certainly remarkable."
What? A man who can look after himself?
Tumblr media
The sexism, it cuts both ways!
"But, dear me! this cigarette stub is certainly remarkable. The gentleman was bearded and moustached, you say?” “Yes, sir.” “I don't understand that. I should say that only a clean-shaven man could have smoked this."
So it is a different man - or woman, I guess.
or he shaved.
"Why, Watson, even your modest moustache would have been singed.”
This feels like shade. Like something you'd say to your friend if he was doing Movember and couldn't grow a moustache to save his life, but you were actually a Victorian gentleman. It's just got such a tone of 'even your moustache, Watson. Even yours.'
Drag him, Sherlock.
"We have no excuse for an intrusion upon his privacy until we have some reason to think that there is a guilty reason for it."
What a revolutionary concept! I wonder if the modern world could learn anything from this. Probably not.
"I can imagine that the word was taken out of a dictionary, which would give the noun but not the plural."
Rubbish dictionary.
"‘Surely Jimmy will not break his mother's heart’—that appears to be irrelevant."
I beg to differ. I need to know if Jimmy broke his mother's heart. How could you Jimmy? You should be ashamed of yourself. Your poor mother worried half to death and you're out there requiring her to take out ads in the newspaper to try to reach you. Callus boy! Cruel boy!
Tumblr media
"‘Be patient. Will find some sure means of communications. Meanwhile, this column. G.’"
That is significantly less cryptic than I thought it would be. Do these conspirators have no sense of style. Why doesn't the caged whale know nothing of the mighty deeps? Does the ill-built tower not tremble mightily at the butterfly's passage? Can no one say hooray hooray for the spinster's sister's daughter these days? Pathetic. Put some effort into your clandestine communications.
"‘The path is clearing. If I find chance signal message remember code agreed—One A, two B, and so on. You will hear soon. G.’"
Seriously, you're going to publish your code in the paper. Not that it even matters. You're doing a simple substitution encryption of numbers for letters, and you're not even offsetting the numbers at all. These people are very obviously not professional spies. I am ashamed for them.
Willing to bet there is a significant number of people in London who have been following these ads with glee like an Edwardian soap opera, eagerly awaiting the next instalment. There's no way no one has been paying attention to this.
"Mr. Warren is a timekeeper at Morton and Waylight's, in Tottenham Court Road. He has to be out of the house before seven. Well, this morning he had not gone ten paces down the road when two men came up behind him, threw a coat over his head, and bundled him into a cab that was beside the curb. They drove him an hour, and then opened the door and shot him out."
Did not expect the husband to be involved.
In Mystery Lodger's defence, there's nothing connecting them to this abduction. Although the coincidence seems unlikely. Why would they need the husband out of the way, though? Unless they thought the husband was the person hiding?
"What I did not foresee is that we should find a woman, and no ordinary woman, Watson.”
Gender prejudices causing problems again. I did foresee that, which is why I've been trying to use gender neutral terms for the replacement.
What does Holmes mean by 'no ordinary woman' though? I don't understand that.
Also, this makes the people mistaking Mr Warren for her even less believable. I doubt they look very alike, particularly given the fashions of the time and the stricter adherence to expected gender 'norms'.
"The printed messages, as is now evident, were to prevent her sex being discovered by her writing."
Tumblr media
"The attack upon Mr. Warren further shows that the enemy, whoever they are, are themselves not aware of the substitution of the female lodger for the male."
Oh, we're actually addressing that? Thank you. It made no sense. But it does make things more convoluted. So only Holmes and Watson know that the woman has replaced the man.
“Education never ends, Watson. It is a series of lessons with the greatest for the last."
Does he mean death? Is the implication that as you die you think 'well, this was an important lesson for me to learn. Now I know that if I do that, then I die. 😵"
Is she on the run from family? A cruel husband? A cruel would-be husband? A gang? A government?
"A single flash—that is A, surely. Now, then. How many did you make it? Twenty. Do did In. That should mean T."
The substitution cypher is with flashing lights?
That's a terrible idea. That's the worst idea I've ever seen. What if she blinks? What if she loses count? There are twenty six letters. If I had to sit and count twenty six flashes I would go mad. T is one of the most common letters and, as you said, that's 20. This is the least efficient way of doing anything. Morse code exists, and I bet you could get a little printed guide for it that the woman could have had. Or you could have written it down for her. And then you wouldn't have needed to spell it out in the newspaper.
This is the worst. I hate it.
They came more rapidly than before—so rapid that it was hard to follow them.
And by hard you mean fucking impossible. WORST CODE EVER.
P is already 16 flashes, and that's the first letter you've got. Then you've got an R in there? Why? This is torture. I bet the guy was cut off by someone who wanted to put him out of his misery. You know why he was cut off mid word? BECAUSE IT TOOK HIM FIFTEEN MINUTES TO SAY ONE WORD.
Flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash [BREAK] Flash-flash-flash-flash-flash [BREAK] Flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash [BREAK] Flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash [BREAK] Flash-flash-flash [BREAK] Flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash [BREAK] Flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash [BREAK] Flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash-flash
So for that one word, that's 93 flashes. I cannot be arsed counting that long. I'm sorry. I can't. Guess I'm just going to die or whatever then.
Tumblr media
eta: just realised that the 'man who looks after himself? Impossible!' thing is a clue. Oh boy. Of course it's a woman, a man would never be able to cope on his own. 🙄

always. (kou x mitsuba x gn!reader)
warnings/notes! poly relationship, human reader, fluff, surprisingly... wholesome?
(a/n) requested by @originisanend!! thank you ♡

"What are you... doing...?" Kou blinked his cyan eyes repeatedly, the confused expression only deepening as he tried to follow Mistuba's movements.
"Putting together a scrapbook, silly. Stop being dumb, hella-lame-traffic-safety-earring boy." Mistuba stuck his tongue out at the said man before returning his attention back to the photos he had printed out.
"I told you to stop calling me that! We're dating, but you're still always insulting me!" Kou pouted, cheeks flushing as he whined.
Mistuba turned to look at you, pink eyes sparkling with mischief. "Ah... but I think it's a good name. After all, it fits you well. And I think..." The rosy-haired man sent you a not-so-subtle wink before continuing. "They like it too."
"Liar." Kou turned to look at you with his oceany doe eyes, silently begging you to take his side. "You aren't agreeing with Mistuba, are you?"
Blinking rapidly, you shook your head. "Hey, leave me out of this...!"
"You heard it," Mistuba chimed in, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "So now let's just kindly leave that argument and focus on what's important here."
Kou didn't seem pleased, but obliged nonetheless. Perhaps he had the memory of a goldfish, or was just too kind for his own good, but after not long at all, he was already back to being his usual sunny self.
"Where are we putting this one?" Kou asked curiously, glancing at Mistuba and you while pointing to a picture of the three of you standing in the school garden. It had been taken a couple of months ago, when it was much warmer outside. Just seeing the photo brought back good memories that made you feel warm inside.
"WHY ARE THERE SO MANY FUCKING WEEDS-" Mistuba had been put in charge of garden cleanup for the school summer cleaning, and he certainly was not pleased. If that alone hadn't been enough, he had forced the two of you to come along with him. He said it was to keep him company, but the both of you knew that it was just so he could do less work.
"Now, now Mistuba, let's calm down..." Kou had acted as the mediator out of the trio, occasionally having to bandage up any scraps or cuts you got while doing the heavy work outside.
"I'm out." You had said after about an hour of working in the blazing heat. Your hands were sore and your back ached from having to bend over at harsh angles.
Yashiro had come along then, and taken a photo of the three of you. She giggled over it for weeks, although soon forgot about it. The love-stricken girl really did have the memory of a goldfish, considering she became one whenever she touched water.
"Ah, that..." Mistuba scowled, glancing up at you with vengeful eyes. "I still haven't gotten my revenge for you abandoning me, you know."
"Oh no~ I'm so scareddd~~" You giggled your ass off for about a minute before helping Mistuba glue on the final touches. Kou was digging about in a pouch of glitter and stickers, searching for some that matched the current spread the three of you were working on.
"Here!" The boy handed you several flowery stickers, along with a couple quotes and a real dry-pressed daisy. You gingerly took them from his hold, lightly brushing his hand in the process. Kou didn't directly say anything, but you saw him flinch and immediately cover his mouth with his hand.
Laughing to yourself, you placed the final touches on the spread before stepping back and taking a look to admire it. Across the top, written in Mistaba's semi-scribbly handwriting, were the words 私たちの夏, or Our Summer.
There were several photos, including the garden one. Another was during sports day and showed Kou passing the baton to you in a relay race, with Mistuba in the back cheering the two of you on. Another showed the time where you and Mistuba had attempted to make a cake for Kou's birthday... but it had turned out a little lopsided and the blue frosting turned out more purple-like instead. Nevertheless, Kou had almost bursted to tears when the two of you showed up at his residence, holding the cake tray in one hand and a present in the other.
They were pleasant photos, little bundles of warm memories and feelings. Kou glanced at you, seeing your satisfied expression, and whispered to Mistuba, "We should do this more often."
"We'll have plenty of time to this again."
"You'll always be with me, right? In sickness or in health..."
"Yes."
"Always."

Fannish Fun with the Instax Mini Evo
So, a major selling point for the Instax Mini Evo camera is its ability to print pictures taken with a smartphone via an app (and bluetooth). In reality, you can, of course, send ANY picture saved on your phone, how would the camera even gatekeep that, a file's a file. And the mini film comes in many fun frame designs.
You can see where this is going, right?
@dirtyzucchini and I spent a very entertaining hour just now printing various Due South/actor pictures and trying to figure out which adjustments to make (brightness, saturation, etc.) to the images with the app (it has very rudimentary photo editing capabilities) prior to printing, to get the best results.
I call it the "Reference Callum". It's a set of 3. Auto filter for a crisper overall image plus manual brightness adjustment, because the auto function tends towards overcompensating that aspect and needs to be dialed back a little in some (not all, mind you, it's a judgement call) cases.
A while back I experimented with failed prints of my own photographs and hand-sewed them onto water colour paper in decorative stiching (I had to pre-punch the prints with a bodkin type thingie).
We have a jar full of assorted red and green buttons. And what feels like metric tons of scrapbooking supplies...
So, eventually, there will be a mixed media collage of red ships and green ships. Gut Ding will Weile haben.

Peter Tork and his grandmother, Catherine McGuire Straus (in photo 2 at the premiere of Head, 1968; photo by Art Zelin/Getty Images).
“One of my favorite people in the world is my ‘Grams,’ Mrs. Catherine McGuire Straus. She lives in Manhattan in the West 50’s. She calls Colgems regularly to check on our record sales, keeps an enormous scrapbook on the activities of the Monkees (favoring me a little bit, of course), and she visits all the record stores regularly to make sure that they are well stocked with Monkees singles and LP’s.” - Peter Tork, 16’s The Monkees: Here We Are (1967)
Many are no doubt familiar with Peter’s grandmother’s contributions to U.S. teen magazines. A few things that might have have fallen through the cracks of Tork and Monkees history are his grandmother’s letters to two British music magazines in 1967...
“As the grandmother of one Monkee, Peter Tork, I have received hundreds of delightful letters from British fans of the Monkees. Recently there have been complaints that some magazines do not print pictures of Peter when they are doing a story on the Monkees. But I find Monkee pictures fairly well distributed in all the pop magazines, though Davy Jones more or less rules the roost! Also received complaints about Peter not appearing with his co-Monkees when they were in London in February. I would assume that the working hours he has every day, seven days a week, are not conducive to his spending a vacation with one’s workers. And I assure you Peter has a mind of his own, so he couldn’t be persuaded to join them. He’s at last been seen and heard — ‘fine’ by his British fans. Do hope the concerts were a SMASHING success — to use a Britishism!” - Catherine McGuire Straus, Disc & Music Echo, July 15, 1967
“Having belatedly read the article by Jeremy Walsh on the Monkees, as the grandmother of one Monkee — Peter Tork — I resent it. It seems to me unnecessarily nasty and rude. His attacks on the group are peculiarly venomous, considering that the Monkees cannot have done anything to promote such anger and, in fact, are the delight of most critics. Well, there’s no use laboring the point. One can only wonder why the hostility. And why make comparisons with the Beatles. Either the Monkees are good in their own right or they’re not. There’s nothing else to consider, is there. Incidentally Peter was marked for the academic world, where both his parents teach. He flunked out of college twice. After his sojourn in Greenwich Village and the concert tours, decided he’d head for the West Coast and Hollywood — every actor’s Mecca. Over 400 applicants auditioned for the Monkees — Peter was one of the four selected and so the Monkees were born etc. Last, but not least, the U.S.A. helped to bring fame and fortune to the Beatles and their super manager, Brian Epstein. Let the British do likewise for the Monkees.” - Sincerely yours, Catherine McG. Straus, Record Mirror, April 8, 1967
“I received hundreds of delightful letters, many of which I answered, in answer to my protest about the article on the Monkees by Jeremy Walsh. All I want is for these charming teenagers to know how grateful I am for their love and devotion to the Monkees.” - Catherine McG. Straus, Record Mirror, June 17, 1967
Here’s part of the opinion of one Jeremy Walsh, referenced by Peter’s grandmother:
“If four good-looking boys, with no talent, can top the charts — can beat the sales of real stars — then it’s all worthless. I’m not saying they can’t play at all. I’m saying that they can’t play well. I’m also saying that their TV series, fount of 90 per cent of their disc fame, is blatantly based on the earlier Beatle films… and that they owe a lot of their disc hits to Beatle influences. I’d feel less strongly about them if only they had tried to adapt something completely new. It’s like some massive act of retaliation by the Americans, still smarting over Beatle-domination. […] The Monkee business really makes me smart. The only consolation is that it should be a short craze. Several people will make their million, then cheerfully abandon the whole project.” - Jeremy Walsh, Record Mirror, February 4, 1967

Is tumblr an ok-ish place to just like, info dump about my world and it’s lore, or is there a better place I could do it?
Tex: You can put anything on tumblr so long as you don’t violate the Terms of Service - I’ve seen moodboards, essays, sketches, stories, bullet point lists, gif sets, audio clip compilations, and pretty much anything that the various posting formats can support.
It’s not necessarily something like a catch-all or one-size-fits-all, but I think it helps to think of various websites as boxes with different utilities, much in the same theme as scrapbooking parts. For example, tumblr supports images well, Archive of Our Own (AO3) supports text well, and have the shared similarity of ability to tag posts or works for organizational purposes.
The internet is one, very useful, format to worldbuild, because it has the ability to utilize tools such as hyperlinking and digital archiving. In a previous post, there is a detail about how to organize a digital file structure for one’s worldbuilding to keep track of things, available here. One practice I have noticed among some worldbuilders is the blend of digital and physical spaces; or rather, online and offline.
Offline digital worldbuilding is such things as word documents, saved images, and programs that perform the function of notebooks that don’t require internet access and/or an internet browser. This is frequently supplemented by personal archiving habits, such as a dedicated peripheral drive like a USB, and regularly copying over digital files onto that device whenever significant changes are made or else on a schedule. This is useful for happenstance events like computer failure, websites going defunct, or related issues.
Offline physical worldbuilding is such things as notebooks, drawings or paintings, boxes of ephemera, scrapbooks, and physical copies of the canon media (if the worldbuilding has its roots in fandom). This can include CDs, DVDs, photos, and craft items such as textiles or sculptures. For people that have had difficulties in maintaining digital records in particular, physical copies are often a good method of maintaining linearity of thought - i.e. printing out a Google Doc and putting that into a folder.
Because there’s so many different medias and platforms you can use for worldbuilding, it’s more a matter of which suits you best and for which purpose. Tumblr is a useful component of a worldbuilding methodology portfolio because of its capability to create dedicated posts that can be mixed media, tagged, and archived if one wishes it. As of this time of posting, users cannot currently download an individual post, but it’s impossible to predict a website’s roadmap as it adapts to the changing needs of digital spaces.
One thing I would note is that tumblr need not be engagement driven, in the same way other online spaces tend to be (e.g. twitter). You can make a blog, add restrictions in the form of locking viewing to only logged-in users or adding a password to view the blog, and with the recent update (as of this posting), users can also toggle preferences on how public a post is and also ability for others to reblog a post.
If you’re looking for engagement, this is fuelled by reblogs, which generally depends on the blogs that you follow and interact with, usually by reblogging their posts and also by talking to them. That is, however, a subject of micro-cultures and subcultures therein, which becomes a little bit off-subject to your question and not really within our domain.

Jealousy (Oikawa x reader) part 4
masterlist | part 3 | Oikawa b’day special | part 5
((Continuing from before))
((2nd person POV))
Oikawa then realised... 'that's what N/N-chan was trying to tell me just now when she asked if we could go on a date... OH SHIT! Our anniversary! I forgot!!!' Oikawa thought. He couldn't do much now and he did have a date with Ruby soooo.... He had to go on that date with Ruby and 'surprise' you with a last min gift or something.
You were at home now, crying over the fact that Oikawa has chosen Ruby over you. You had expected to spend your whole of your anniversary with the love of your life, Oikawa Tooru. 'That bitch stole my Oikawa from me... Now I'm all alone in my room away from my lover,' you thought.
You stared at a scrapbook that you made for Oikawa as your anniversary gift for him. You flipped through the pages with care looking at all those photos that you printed out. Each and every date that you went with him had been written down in details from your perspective, every little trinkets all pasted on that scrapbook. You came across your favourite date of all...
Date: dd/mm/yy
Our date to the amusement park <3
Today was the day Oikawa and I go on the date that I've seen on many many animes. The amusement park. It all started off when Oikawa picked me up from my house, seeing him all dressed up in his casual clothes made me wonder how lucky I was to have him as my bf. We soon left to a cafe to eat our breakfast. As always Oikawa picked milk bread for his choice of food.
....
....
We then played many roller coasters. So much so that Oikawa puked. He was so not proud of that moment. We even went to the haunted house and Oikawa was putting up a strong face for me but in reality he was frightened to death. Oikawa was clinging onto me to "protect me" but he was just trying to make himself feel safe. At one point when a zombie appeared, he screeched so high pitched like a little girl and everyone stared. That was very embarrassing...
....
....
When the sun set and the multi coloured lights on the Ferris wheel shone brighter than anything. Oikawa and I rode the Ferris wheel and we chatted the whole ride until... We reached the top of the Ferris wheel and suddenly, Oikawa leaned into me and kissed me oh-so passionately. ( insert image of you two kissing ) When I asked him why did he kissed me, he told me that there was a myth that when 2 lovers kiss at the top of the Ferris wheel, they will be together forever.
As you flip through more and more pages, a sense of nostalgia hit you like a ton of bricks. Your nose turn sour and your eyes started to water. Without realising, your tears had stained the scrapbook... Your stared at your scrapbook noticing those little tears on it and quickly shut the it, not wanting your precious scrapbook to get wet.
You decided to scroll through Twitter and saw Ruby's tweet... (A/N: pls pretend that it was in the afternoon for the image!)
Tumblr media
At the sight of that post you broke down into tears worser than just now. Ruby went with Oikawa to the beach. The most romantic place a couple could be at. But, they are just a fake couple right? Right?  You were still clinging onto that tiny glimmer of hope that Oikawa didn't completely forgot about your anniversary. You hope Oikawa wasn't having as much fun with Ruby than being with you.
You felt jealous of Ruby...
....
Of all people, you were jealous of Ruby...
....
'Oh Oikawa, what have you done to me i was not that easy to be jealous last time. Oikawa... Pls at least come and visit me later... At least come to my place and spend some time with me later... I miss you... Oikawa Tooru...' you thought. Finally, you decided to text Oikawa.
Y/N<3:
Kawa? Could you drop by my place later?
I have something to pass to you...
Pls? read
Kawa! Dont leave my on read pls.
Oikawa?
Tooru?
Oikawa<3 (the💗of my life):
Tooru?!
Bold now are we Y/N-chan?
Y/N<3:
Y/N-chan?!
What happen to N/N-chan?
And Oikawa u still haven't told me if u can drop by my place later
Oikawa<3 (the💗of my life):
Hmmm
I think I can!
After my date with Ruby, I'll drop by at your place!
See you later N/N-chan
Y/N<3:
Mhm see you later kawa! read
You sighed in content, happy that Oikawa at least agreed to stop by your place once he's done with his date with Ruby. That way, you can question him about the date, give him his anniversary present, hopefully be able to receive your anniversary gift from him. Seeing Oikawa always make you happy soooo maybe if you see him, you won't feel so sad that he went on a date w Ruby.
Maybe he could stay over and you guys could cuddle. Especially since your parents are overseas in a business trip to Singapore. Maybe you could have a mini home date with him. Maybe you could watch some movies with him. That way, you won't feel lonely. That way, you won't feel sad that you couldn't go on a date with him. That way, you wouldn't hate Ruby as much for stealing Oikawa from you. That way, you wouldn't feel jealous...
That's what you think... Maybe.... He didn't even arrive, and you stayed up all night just waiting for him to come... but maybe, that didn't happen... Maybe, he forgot about you and spend the night with Ruby instead... The possibilities were endless. You just hope he arrive and didn't forget about you...
