There’s something about Clark showing up to save Bruce from certain doom that just makes me teary-eyed.

I never quite shipped them (in my head you cannot have Clark without Lois, so the closest I ever get is an OT3), but I love them so much as a pair of best friends. These two people who are, at their core, outsiders; who have led such different lives, but always come to just about the same conclusions, even if they get there by different paths.  

They always have each others’ backs. They’re always willing to call each other out on their shit. They know each other so well. They both care so fucking much. 

I love them.
