heres a snippet on one of my takes on my bio dad hal jordan au. it involves pen pals to friends to lovers daminette bc i just couldnt resist the idea when it popped up in my head.

Damian rather preferred excited on Marinette. in the time he had known her, he had hardly seen her happy. It was a good look on her. Her eyes glittered like sapphires, and he was absolutely entranced by her smile. It was contagious, and he had his own small smile plastered on his face as he watched her talk about what she found.

"Scrawled on the back was marinette and hal," she said, and he zoned back in at the sound of a familiar name.

Damian didn't believe in coincidences. There was no such thing in his line of work, but surely it was a coincidence. Because there was no possible way Marinette Jordan was Harold Jordan's daughter. He would have known.

"Can I see the photo?" he asked, wanting to confirm his suspicions. Marinette nodded and held up a photograph, and there in all his glory was Harold Jordan holding a baby wrapped in a pink blanket dotted with ladybugs.

Have been inaktive for a while now but yay...I'm back!

Now, I want to Start writing Fan fictions again and I have 4 ideas already but I can't decide what to write first...so you can decide! Here are four Prompts and even some art to show you what you can expect uwu please tell me your favorite so that I can see what to write first!

1. Death in the family (ya I took that title from the Batman Movie lol). Basically Reverse Robins with Marinette in there. The family dynamic with Marinette already is established too. Bruce is dead, Damian is Batman, Tim, who died instead of Jason, is Wren, Marinette is Cardinal, Jason is Red Bird and Dick will become Robin later on.

Shortly after Bruce Died, Marinette wanted to help her Brother, Damian, relax. Knowing that he loves animals she takes him to a Circus. There they witness the death of the flying Graysons. They don't hesitate and take in their son, Dick Grayson. Family shenanigans, drama and Lots of fun in this fic!

2.Gotham Sirens. Marinette is a Rouge (just to Mess with good ol' Batsy) and meets and Joins the Sirens. Selina adopts Mari and just enjoys annoying her Ex, Bruce, with her new Daughter. Harley and Ivy have fun too, doing the same thing only with the Joker....hehe...

3. The life(death) of Marin(ette). Marin Cheng is a very deadly Rouge and fought the Bats ever since he could hold a knife. He gets mortally wounded though and as he dies, the last thing he Sees is Red Hood, who refuses to leave his side as he dies.

Tikki takes pity on him though and throws his soul in the body of Marinette Dupain-Cheng, another self of him from another universe, who Fell into a coma due to her real soul giving up on her.

Now Marin has to Deal with being a girl, a Super hero and a teenager while also trying to get to Gotham to protect this universes Red Hood, as a way to thank him for not leaving him on his death bed.

4.Miraculous Lanterns. Marinette HATES Green Lantern(Hal Jordan) with a Passion. One day she wakes up, only to find a Blue Ring floating in front of her. As in trance she speaks the oath and becomes a Blue Lantern. Now she has TWO Hero personas, has to stay close to Green Lantern to use her rings full Potential and has to Deal with the longing to just smash Jordans head into the ground...

Could I request a Bruce Wayne x son reader(plus batboys if possible) where bruce finds out reader is his bio son and has been under the care of another justice league member(if possible I’d prefer hal Jordan with reader also being a green lantern and Hal’s sidekick) his whole (or at least most of) life (could you also include hal pettily reminding Bruce that reader maybe his bio kid but he is a green lantern not a bat?)

Oh shit... Bruce is going to lose his mind. I hope I made the scene petty enough.

Summary: (Y/N) is a Green Lantern. That's what Hal Jordan says. In reality, he is a Bat and Bruce has something to say about it.

Warnings: Hal Jordan is petty, Bruce wants his son, Hal is like nope, it's up to (Y/N).

Bruce noticed something about (Y/N) Jordan, the son of Green Lantern. He has seen him without the mask and he noticed some similarities between the boy and himself. There were physical similarities, but also personality similarities.

Bruce was reminded of one girl he had an adventure with over a decade ago. He didn't think much for a couple of months, but a mission changed his mind. (Y/N) joined his dad on a mission with Batman.

Hal thought that the (Y/N) could benefit from learning from Batman. Everyone could learn something from Batman. Hal would rather die than admit that out loud, but he had respect for Batman.

(Y/N) was excited to go on a mission with Batman. He always found the man interesting and extremely badass. But he was also kind of scared of him, especially when he was completely calm, but you could tell that he was pissed beyond belief.

Where the mission went wrong was that (Y/N) got injured by Deathstroke. It seemed that Deathstroke was tasked to kill (Y/N). Who wanted Hal's son, well, Bruce's son dead?

They didn't know, Bruce promised to look into it. Hal was thankful for this and it allowed him to take care of his son. Hal knew that biologically speaking (Y/N) wasn't his son, but he didn't mind it. His partner at the time warned him and he didn't mind.

He loved (Y/N) and nothing would change it.

Well, that was until Bruce ran (Y/N)'s DNA through their database by complete accident. He was shocked when his DNA was a match. Oh no. He tried the results once more. A match again.

He looked into (Y/N) in more detail. That''s why he was so similar. His mother was the one Bruce was with over a decade ago. What the hell? Now, how is he going to break this to Hal?

He wanted his son to live with him, but he knew that (Y/N) was connected to Hal. Oh no. There was this problem. He needs to talk to Hal as soon as possible.

Bruce had to reign his emotions in when talking to Hal. He has called him into a private room in the HQ, thankfully, Superman was nowhere to be found and that was something he was happy with. Bruce didn't want anybody else to hear this.

He didn't know how well this could go. Hal is very protective of his son and who know how he would take the news.

" So Batman, what did you want to talk about? " Hal asked, sitting down.

" I wanted to talk about (Y/N). "

That got Hal's focus up to the highest level. " What about him? "

" I was looking into why Deathstroke would kill him. I must have put his DNA through the system and it came back as a match. To mine. " Bruce finished up and Hal just nodded.

" I know my then partner was pregnant. I know (Y/N) isn't mine, but I love him none the less. "

" I know that. But I want him to live with me. " Hal wanted to laugh, say that it's a joke, but Bruce was dead serious.

" Not happening. "

" Lantern, I know you are mad, but he is my son. He is something that you guys would call a bat. He belongs with me. I feel bad for not being in his life. "

" Well, Bruce, here is a fun fact. He is a Green Lantern and not a Bat. Just because your adventures don't tell you they are pregnant is not my concern. "

" I want to tell (Y/N) at least. " Bruce tried, but Hal raised his arm up to stop him.

" No. As far as (Y/N) is concerned, I'm his dad. Although I think he is suspecting it now. And if he wants to know, I will tell him. If you think about telling him, I will end you. " Hal threatened with a smile and Bruce just nodded.

Hal would most definitely make sure of that threat. " Good. And don't forget. He is a Green Lantern and not a Bat. " Hal reminded before leaving the room, leaving Bruce alone.

Now he wants to just cuddle with (Y/N). Hal shook his head as he left. (Y/N) is his son and no biology will change that.

Up top: Aya (who's also Ion, the Green Light Entity, for those not up on my convoluted AU lore), Hal Jordan as The Spectre, and Krona as Leviathan. I actually don't think I ever got into my thoughts on Leviathan, Krona, and the Manhunter Cult (or Manhunter Machine-Religion, as I've referred to it) but basically all the Mark Shaw stuff only applies to Leviathan's Earthside operations. Leviathan goes back to Cosmic Deep History, Krona using a mythic Machine-Messiah to program the original Oan Manhunters (and, to a degree, the Manhunter bio-cyborgs of Mars) to serve Krona's ultimate purpose of striking back against the Empty Hand. In a way, the Manhunter Cult (which includes Wally's Dad? No really, it's wild this never comes up...anyway) is a counterpart to the Religion of Crime or the Cult of Heggra, only devoted to a twisted, absolutist vision of justice dreamt up at the dawn of Maltusian civilization.

Down below, some Star Sapphire designs I was toying with. I didn't have particular Star Sapphires in mind, the upper two are generics but the bottom two are possibly Jillian Pearlman and Remoni-Notra. Eyeless masks for the “love is blind” aspect, with the shapes meant to evoke canon!Star Sapphire masks, but also Thanagarian headpieces (since the headverse!Violet Entity is "The Lovebirds" instead of just "The Predator" as a corrupted version)

about the cissie post: funniest answer is that yes, green arrow is her bio dad simply because her dad is (was? idk if he's alive) infertile. nobody bothered to bring it up because nobody bothered to make a big deal out of it at the time, her mom just asked a dude at like a college archery comp "hey, my husband can't have kids, will you knock me up because I want a bio kid?" and Ollie went "okay, sounds fun" and had a threesome with a hot blonde and her husband. she's declared part of the arrowfam but GA's not her dad and they all just go on with life drama-free

While that is very funny, I wanna bring up some... stuff from canon related to this topic.

So, to start off, Cissie's dad is dead (at least pre-new 52 which ya know thats where all this is centered considering Cissie has only shown up in 5 issues total post-new 52) and that's actually a part of her hero origin story. Bonnie used the insurance money from his death (he died of... some bad shellfish when Cissie was 5) to fund Cissie's becoming Arrowette (also fun fact! Hal Jordan was the insurance guy to deliver the check LMAO)

But a piece of things I feel like you may not know based on how you phrased this is that... Bonnie was the first Arrowette. She had been an award winning archer (varies between just a competition or the olympics) and after not living up to her mom's expectations started to idolize Green Arrow & Speedy and wanted to be a hero herself! Now, we have different versions of these events told, what Bonnie told Bart and what Cissie told her guidance councilor, and there's a few differences that definitely just come from perspective of who the narrator is.

When Bonnie tells things she says she'd helped Green Arrow and Speedy,

vs. in Cissie's retelling it's more that they just saved her at some point because she was getting herself in over her head

So like it's a 'your mileage may vary' type thing. But she interacted with them at some point.

Now the fun thing is that this isn't just retroactively adding in a character- Bonnie actually existed all the way back in the 60's!

Now, this was pre-crisis, so the events from back then aren't necessarily canon the exact same way post-crisis, but this does give us some indication that Bonnie really had interacted with Ollie & Roy at some points, possibly more than Cissie actually believes. The majority of her old stories (there's a grand total of 4 unique ones, the dc wiki will initially make you think there's 6 but two are reprints) are her trying to help them and messing things up because 'whoops! she's just a girl' because ya know this was the early 60's, but usually she'd save them in the end and Ollie would be like 'well thank you for that today but Please Stop Doing This Bonnie'

But in one that's overall a JLA story... she shows up at the very end on a date with Ollie in his civilian identity (while all the JLA members are there with love interests)

We already knew Ollie knew her identity as Bonnie/Miss Arrowette but it's unclear if Bonnie knew Ollie was Green Arrow, regardless this means they interacted as civilians as well as heroes.

But then Bonnie just stopped showing up mid-60s, and never really got mentioned again until Cissie came into the picture in Impulse in the 90's now post-crisis.

In Impulse & The Secret Origins issue, it's explained that at some point after being undermined by Green Arrow & Speedy not taking her seriously, she met Bernell 'Bowstring' Jones and they worked together for a bit until Bonnie got carpal-tunnel syndrome from her day job and it forced her to stop acting as Miss Arrowette altogether

And it was at this point when she had to give it up that she got married & had Cissie (the first panel I posted in this ask). Seems straightforward enough!

But then we throw this exchange into things...

And it just makes you wonder!

Like, Bonnie idolized Green Arrow and if we think about those pre-crisis appearances she possibly did also know him as Oliver... a situation where Bonnie slept with Ollie at some point is definitely plausible. Based on the 'they got married and a year later had me' thing, for him to be Cissie's bio dad it would mean she'd have either cheated on Bernell or theoretically it could have been a situation vaguely like what you said where it was something all parties knew about. The reason I brought all this up in the first place though is that there's very unlikely a situation where Ollie wouldn't have known who Bonnie was going into things vs how what you said implies more of a random chance occurrence.

But yeah we're most likely never gonna get an actual answer on this but I think it'd be a fascinating thread to pull on to build a story out of!

So in my answer to this I'm giving you what's probably WAY more people than you're asking for but I wanted to cover all my bases so the first list is going to be the main family, these are the figures that canonically make up the core Arrowfam. The second list is going to be more extended familial connections, or those who have been assimilated into their found family. Third list is honorable mentions thanks to throwaway lines in canon and popular fanon. Let's begin.

The core family consists of: Oliver Queen, Dinah Lance, Roy Harper, Connor Hawke, Mia Dearden, Emiko Queen, Sin Lance, and Lian Harper.

The extended family/"family" consists of: Hal Jordan, Shado, Jade Nguyen (and Tommy Blake Jr. if I'm being generous and fulfilling my own desires), Robert Queen II, Sandra Moonday Hawke, Grant Emerson, Dinah Sr., and Eddie Fyers. )*If* you want to include stuff from the N52, Rebirth, and influences from Arrow, you could also count Malcom and Tommy Merlyn, John Diggle, and Henry Fyff).

Honorable Mentions: Bonnie King and Cissie King Jones. (Bonnie used to sleep with Ollie and it's implied that Ollie could be Cissie's bio-dad however this isn't proven in canon and it should be noted that Cissie has never met these people and has no connections to them outside of popular fanon).

The line up that *I* personally ascribe to is: Oliver Queen, Dinah Lance, Roy Harper, Connor Hawke, Mia Dearden, Emiko Queen, Sin Lance, Lian Harper, Hal Jordan, Shado, Jade Nguyen, Grant Emerson, and Eddie Fyers. Lynn Small aka Selkie. Gothamite. Half Atleantean. Hates their dad. Goth. Eventually a sorcerer. Bad at coping.

Quatashia McFadden aka Lady Iris. Wonder Woman stan. Her mom is the goddess Iris. Would be offended by the pjo books. Retires from being a hero very early in life.

Jivika Chabra aka Kali. Her bio mother is lady shiva who donated her egg for a gay assassin couple to use with a surrogate. Yeah it's a long story. Also jivika isnt happy that they wanted her to be an assassin later in life. But like she only finds that out when they're both dead? They weren't planning on actually training her till she was 18 anyway. At least she can yell at their ghosts. Would kin Danny Phantom. She ends up dating Emiko Queen while in college!

Now my dickroy kiddos

Valerie Harper-Grayson. Adopted when she was three. Part Atleantean. Damian is her favorite Uncle bc he is almost always up for taking her to the aquarium. Then again Damian is basically all the Harper-Grayson kiddos fav Uncle. She never gets into the whole vigilante/hero business.

John Bo Harper-Grayson. Yeah John Bo is his whole first name. He goes by Bo. Hes biologically Roy and dicks kid. He'll eventually become Nightwing but he stays out of vigilante stuff till hes about 19.

Dylras Harper-Grayson. He was adopted as a baby from New Tamaran! He was rescued from uhh human/alien traffickers. He becomes Flamebird to Bo's Nightwing.

So now Bo's best friend: Jordan Lance-Queen! Haldinahollie's kid.

Jordan is biologically Hal's and a surrogate. They literally tried to find a surrogate that looked like Dinah. Jordan ends up being nonbinary so luckily they already had a gender neutral name. They'll eventually become Green Arrow! Their main goal in life is to make Bo suffer.

And then there are the Kent-Waynes and Allen-Waynes. Timkonbart kiddos.

Logan Kent-Wayne is tim and kons kid. Hes a really sweet kid though I havent wrote him as well him yet since I've mainly written him in a time period where he hasn't come out yet. He literally named himself after an actor cough garfield logan cough from a science fiction show he liked but then he found out said actor is friends with his uncle dick and he will never admit this.

Then there are the actually older than Logan twins. Except their clones. Made by lex luthor with DNA from kon and tim, Clark and Bruce Kent-Wayne use to be known as Alexander and Alexa Legacy. Maybe they were a little evil but they changed. They wanted to choose new names for their new lifes and asked tim, bart, and kon about names. Bruce's gender identity came out when he choose the name Bruce. Bruce and Robbie Troy end up dating (for a second time, first time being back when b was a little evil) and doing humanitarian work around the globe while also being heroes. Clark ends up going to Metropolis University to study elementary education!

And then there are tim and bart's pair of twins Meloni and Dana Allen-Wayne. I've only written them as babies so far so I havent given them much thought

Oh that reminds me Thad Allen (used to be Thawne but I feel like thad would change it) has an adopted son who he named Max

Now these two aren't kiddos but: Ezra and Amber Kane, Bette Kanes parents. Ezra is the youngest kid of whatever the fuck martha and Jacob's parents names were. He was a bit of a surprise considering his parents were pretty old when he was born so hes like 20 years younger than his closest sibling in age jacob. Hes also only like 8 years older than bruce and doted on his nephew as much as he could and hes the inspiration of the whole brucue wayne playboy act despite him not being a playboy at all but anyway. Hes also a pro tennis player. Amber Kane is his wife and best friend. She once dated Janet Drake. She had a shitty life and despite being an actress her childhood is still mainly secret. A few vague details are known but not specific not that it matters anyway. Her parents died when she was young and was taken in by some not so good people who got away with it bc they had money. Ezra and Amber spend any minute they can with Bette bc they love her and she is the light of their lives (well besides each other).

Then there's Faith, Bane, and Soledad Kerzner. Scandal, Kay, and Liana's kids. Faith and Bane are biologically Lianas with Thomas Blake as the sperm donor. Soledad was adopted when she was two . Faith... is a bit rebellious and gets caught up in some shit she really shouldn't have. Bane and Soledad are two characters I havent really explored yet but anyway they all love their three moms.

Viola and Robin Thomas are Duke Thomas and Jackson hyde's adopted kids. Viola is Martian which is really difficult considering her abilities. Shes a sweet kid though and really likes to help her dads! Robin is an Atleantean baby Jackson saved and brought home and it was kinda like that icarly meme (duke: jackson what do you have there? Jackson, holding robin and a smoothie: a smoothie) but like more dramatic bc Jackson was injured and had only come home because it was close and he really needed to actually go to a hospital anyway yay. Viola will become the signal and robin will become aqualad on day

Oh and there's Lilith "Lili" Bloomberg. Shes rose Wilson and eddie Bloomberg's daughter. She likes to watch blue devil. Shes really sensitive. Rose and eddie never got married to each other but Rose and Mia dearden married when Lilith was sorta young and eddie was married to jason todd for a little while before they got divorced and later he enters a relationship with zach zatara but I havent decided if that will last or not. Lilith is really close with tommy Blake bc hes kind of like an older brother to her

And then there's mystery girl wilson... I have yet to name her but shes a character I'm working on but her dad is slade

And that's it for now. There's more but I dont feel like going into then right now. But there more like Jason Todd's group of adopted kiddos and some others but I feel like this answer is getting way too long

Dinner after revealing herself wasn't that bad in fact it seemed like everyone was releived that they didn't need to hide any more.

After which she was officially led and toured the Batcave. Dick ended up flying all around the cave and Mari was not far behind. Batman, Robin, and the Reds left to patrol. Mari and Dick continued their gymnastics until they tired a bit. Then Mari explored a bit.

Specifically she ended up at the costumes and nearly choked when she saw one) the original Robin's suit and two) the Discowing suit.

"Please" she begged yelling towards Dick "tell me that you didn't wear both of these wrillingly."

"They aren't that bad Little Bat” he yelled in indignation.

"They aren't that bad" she began muttering as if having something foul near her, when she got to the couches in the confrance area she was giving Dick the now dubbed Mari Glare. "Oh they are bad Blue, probably the worst I've ever seen" she began sketching out a new suit for him.

She was almost done when the akuma alert sounded. "I have to go" Mari began to stand up, but Dick followed suit.

"I'll go with you" he added.

"Really?!" she didn't want to ask but after everything she was releived when he had offered.

"Ready to go Rosu" he called now in full gear.

"Ready when you are" she called on her transformation and merged with the horse, but before calling a portal she had to ask "what's a Rosu?"

He gave her a grin "my nickname for Ladybug is red in romani"

She nodded thinking for a second "Okay then how do you say blue?"

"Albastru but Azur may be simpler"

"What does that mean?"

"It translates to azure"

"Azur" she smiled "that's fitting."

When they got to Paris it was Gigantitan.

"Why is there a giant throwing a tantrum"

"Gigantitan, 5 years old, name August reoccurring akuma" Ladybug recites.

"Lead the way rosu" and she did.

Not much had changed in August's appearance as an akuma except where there was once a pacifier there was now a teddy bear.

With Nightwing as her partner she didn't even need to use her Lucky Charm. Everything went well and she was glad she didn't need to deal with Chat during the fight. Speaking of which, Chat Noir only bothered to show up when the fight had ended. She was leading August to his mother and that was when the Press swarmed.

"So, Bugaboo, since this ended so fast why don't we go on a date?" Chat had asked her knowing she had to give him an answer since the news was there. She bit her lip and was about to say something when Nightwing spoke up.

"Rosu" he said getting everyone's attention.

"Yes Azur"

"We need to go"

"Nightwing" someone called. He nodded "Why are you in Paris, Did you hear about the hero ban. Ladybug, Chat Noir are you going to arrest him or kick him out of the City?"

Several questions were shot their way but it

wasn't until Chat Noir spoke that the press went quiet. "Yes Bugaboo what are we going to do?" He looked at her a grin on his face.

"As of today Nightwing, Red Robin, Red Hood, Robin, and Batman will be aiding the Miraculous Team in order to uncover Hawkmoth's identity."

"What about the other heroes? Are they still banned or are only those mentioned allowed?" someone in the crowd asked.

"All except those mentioned are in deliberation until otherwise stated or seen." she answered. She and Nightwing were about to leave when she heard an all too familiar voice.

"Ladybug what about your date with Chat?" Alya, of course it was Alya.

"Chat Noir and I are partners, I have no romanic interest in him and frankly Chat" she was now directly speaking with him. "This infatuation of yours has put all of Paris at risk." she turned

towards Alya again "Miss Cesaire I have seen your blog and because of that I must say that I

will no longer support it. As of this moment

'BugOut' will deal with any information pertaining to myself." With that she and Nightwing zipped away only to be followed by Chat.

"M' lady please"

"Chat can you tell me anything you know about me that isn't idolization" she paused but he said nothing. "I don't think you love me for me, but you love the idea of me. Ready Azur?" with that they left Chat and returned to the cave. Only to be met with the most bizarre scene.

The two walked in and there they saw not only their father and brothers still in uniform but there were also two Green Lanterns, the Flash, Superman, Captian Marvel and...

"Oh My KWIAMII" Mari yelled from where the portal had closed. She was still dressed as Ladybug "You're Wonder Woman." She was so excited that she practically ran up to her. "Oh I've heard soo much about your Mother from Tikki" Wonder Woman let out a chuckle and so did the other heroes that were in the cave.

"Are you sure she's yours Bruce" her father glared at Flash but he only contined, "She is so cheery and your well broody."

She could only look around and stare at everyone

well. Her family was still in uniform but Dick, Damian, and Tim were no longer wearing their domino masks as well as one of the lanterns. Her father and Flash had lowered their cowls and Jason was resting his chin on his helmet.

"How, Why, do they, wait" she held up her hand took a breath and faced her father "I am so confused" at this everyone laughed.

"You can drop your transformation Mini" she did and well she was still confused. "I think introductions are in order"

So that was exactly what happened.

By then they were all dressed as civilians and were chatting in the manor.

Mari was dubbed Barry's favorite Wayne, but she is pretty sure it's because of her cookies.

Mari figured out Caption Marvel fairly quickly. That may have been because of the magic that transformed him, but she recognized the similarity to the miraculous. So within five

minutes of Billy dropping his transformation he was asleep on the couch Alfred the cat on top of him.

Diana invited her to Themesaura to train with the Amazons, dubbing her a sister in arms.

She tore Hal Jordan a new one stating even if he may have behind the miraculous were fake, wouldn't the similarities to his ring provide some slimmer of validity to the claim. At minimum he should have looked into it farther.

Speaking of Lanterns John Stewart was someone she could spend hours talking with. And he even explained a bit about the lantern corp and she explained about the miraculous. John even let her try his ring and her creativity and ingenuity were obvious.

She felt at ease talking with Clark, she found out where Jon got his sunny disposition from. Speaking of which that is how she figured out her brother's best friend was Superboy.

Well today was a long and eventful day but she wouldn't change a thing.
