I've always thought, personally, that error sans knows he can't destroy every glitch in multiverse and what's hes doing is low-key evil. But, it gives him purpose and a purpose hes been devout to. If he doesn't have his PURPOSE then what is the point of his existence, his suffering, his grief? He'll come up with any excuse in the book to protect his ego. he prioritizes it over everything and everyone else.
Also, acknowledging your perspective is bad and you were wrong takes, y'know, self reflection. something error is not know to have. he's unwilling to face himself and really evaluate on a deep level WHY hes doing what hes doing.
I don't think he would like what he saw. Because he would have to acknowledge his way of thinking all spurred from a violent insanity due to be stuck in the anti-void. From a state I can't really blame him for either (i mean seriously i dont think ANYONE could be in the situation he was and not come out without permanent personality change). Not from any logical and or truthful basis.
Soo, do you all think that Sun and Moon freak out when Gregory tips over the towers of boxes because they're terrified of getting decommissioned?
Since they were intentionally other for plays, but were reprogrammed (at least, Sun) to be the daycare attendant, imagine how that even happened. Obviously the plex didn't need their stage plays, and it was cheaper to just reuse one of the animatronics. They probably didn't want to use one of the more well-known animatronics because, well, why would they waste big money for a babysitter?
No doubt in my mind Sun and Moon have to fight for their position. In the company's eyes, the solar boys could easily be replaced, especially if they're shown to be "not fit" for their new work.
DCA flipping out over the tipped-over boxes might not be anything like being a clean-freak. They just might be freaking out because the place needs to be perfect if they don't want to be replaced. And tbh, that would also explain their "bedroom" being the way it is. It's trashed. They don't care about messes— they care about basically not dying.
And Gregory, whether or not he knows, is absolutely threatening their very existence with his constant running around, turning off the lights, trashing the daycare.
No wonder Sun banned Gregory; bro doesn't wanna die
Ehh actually, the borgwatch is the- smartest smart watch ever!! There's a heart rate monitor, a gps unit- and even a...temporal anolomy locator HMMM~ (someone save him)
Guys I swear he will come back for dragons rising. I SWEAR. THEY NEED HIM. Watch how Lloyd is gonna say some crap like "We're going to need all the help we can get, and I know who to look for," and then it switches to Borg Tower. Trust me guys I have visions, its real because ofc Lloyd would say some stupid live-action disney movie lines
"Sannan Keisuke's problems are not actually really his arm or the Water of Life, bro just has self-esteem issues and is prone to depression/spends most of the game depressed" is arguably the truest and most accurate piece of unmentioned canonical lore about Hakuouki. Change my mind.
There are four main types of Batfam fans in regard to how people interpret Bruce Wayne as a dad (/Joking. This is mostly satire and should not be taken seriously):
Fans that think Bruce is emotionally constipated and isn't the best at being a parent but still tries (Differs per person). Don't necessarily think he's absuive but thinks he can be toxic or have unhealthy expectations for the Robins. Can smell the Oldest Daughter Syndrome coming from Dick and have Family Line (By Conan Gray) as their top song on their Dick inspired playlist and Daddy Issues (By The Neighbourhood) for Jason.
Fans that choose to believe Bruce goes to therapy in their own canon. Love B:WFA. Thinks the comic can be cheesy at times and so find a balance between B:WFA Bruce and Please Go To Therapy BruceTM as their middle ground. He struggles. They advocate that Bruce is not a bad parent, he just has bad writers that seem to forget Bruce wouldn't hurt kids, especially not his own. Love the humane moments and scenes he has in BTAS and the early JL cartoons. He may not be perfect but he's not literally abusive. Whores for Bruce being able to admit when he is wrong and for Jason and Bruce reconciling. I recommend Grow As We Go by Ben Platt for this one.
A mix between the first two. Was fine-ish when Dick was younger. Didn't help him in the healthiest way but eh. Still emotionally constipated but that happened more so after Dick left and Jason died. Started getting better when Tim came back but was still closed off. Should probably go to therapy with the kids so they can drag his ass about all the things he's done that have actually affected them negatively. Understands his mistakes and is also able to admit when he's wrong, eventually. It's not easy but he starts to do better and learns to be more emotionally available. Still has to get chewed out by Alfred sometimes but definitely better than he used to be and it shows. Reconciliation is slow and gradual but progress is made for everyone involved.
The one's I personally avoid for my own sanity and wellbeing:
Think Bruce is a complete bastard and abuser. Want him to choke. Hate any and all interpretations of him. Some of which will refuse to understand how anyone could have a different interpretation. Will point out comics where, in all fairness, he is a dick but forget that characterisation can significantly differ from one series to the next, as comic characters are constantly passed around to different writers and have been for decades. Not to mention movies, shows, etc.
As much as I love Peter 2 being like the supportive older brother when he said Peter 3 was amazing and being proud of Peter 1 about being in the Avengers even tho he had no idea what that was and how people are like 'Either Peter 2 is the other Peters therapist or he will send them himself to one' I just feel like he needs the therapy too
Omg he's like the therapist friend
Peter 1: Thanks Peter 3, you're really the best at these things
Peter 2: Oh it's no problem
Peter 3: You know I feel like we've been sharing too much-
Peter 2: No, not at all you can tell me anything! You can trust me, there is no burden in needing to talk about your problems
Peter 3: Well, we just want hear you're problems
Peter 1: Yeah we're all here for each other
Peter 2: My problems? Oh no, no, no, no I don't talk about my problems. I don't want to be a burden to anyone
Peter 3: ...
Peter 1: ... Didn't you just say-
Peter 2: Besides it's not as bad as you guys, I mean, we all went through the Uncle Ben thing tho I did end up killing the guy that killed my Uncle Ben on accident-
Peter 3: You what!?!
Peter 2: -and, remember Osborn? Yeah, so- (trauma dumping the entire 3 Spider-Man movies)-Harry died taking a stab for me but still it's no where near as bad as your problems
Peter 1: ... oh my god
Peter 3: ... I'm taking you to therapy
I think my favorite trope in middle grade books is how firmly the narrator manages to convince themselves they're going to have a "normal" anything. (vacation, walk, school year, etc)
Like it's definitely not healthy in any way, but I admire their total commitment to it. like, bud. did you see the cover of this book? the MC tries so hard to have the major plot point not happen so hard, and they never succeed.
feel free to add if you know of more books/MC's that do this, I made a list in the tags, but it's kinda short.
That Diluc and Crepus are alike in a lot of ways and I get the impression that Crepus also lived vicariously through Diluc in terms of “I couldn’t be a knight so you go do that” even if he may have had some reservations with the Knights himself but wouldn’t wanna alienate them because of his kids or because of business reasons.
That Crepus and Varka have a begrudging mutual respect for each other but do not agree with each other’s tactics.
Crepus, like later Diluc, finds the knights inefficient. That he was working to bring down the Fatui in his own way secretly. There is some underground vigilante anti-Fatui group that Diluc later joined because he has contacts in Mond when he gets back.
Diluc is a kid and delluded into thinking the Knights are perfect and Crepus doesn’t wanna crush his dreams.
Then reality happens.
That Diluc has noticed some corruption already and has his reservations and annoyances. That that night was his final straw. That he’s relieved to be out of the Knights but feels like he let his father down but also has a weird feeling that he did the right thing by him.
And that he later learns more about the underground efforts and just how stupid the knights are being and that diplomacy doesn’t solve everything.
But he doesn’t wanna alienate them too much because of his begrudging respect for Kaeya.
And also he’s annoyed and slightly jealous that Kaeya took his position.
He secretly wishes Kaeya would leave but if he told Kaeya everything he knows it would destroy him. Or he just wouldn’t listen.
Or that Kaeya does know and wants to change things from the inside.
Or he stays because he thinks that’s what Crepus wanted and actually sees Diluc as disrespecting their father’s wishes.
Or Kaeya stays because the knights treated HIM well, and he doesn’t have any other family left. They ARE his family. His dad abandoned him and he doesn’t know where his mom is (if shes alive). If he has other siblings they’re probably working for the Order. His adoptive dad died and his adoptive brother views him as a pushover for staying perhaps.) Let’s also not forget that Kaeya was probably pressured into doing whatever he was forced to do as a kid as being an heir to the Abyss Order basically. He probably doesn’t know HOW to say no or stand up against institutional injustice. Anything is better than where he came from. So he mostly just distances himself from the Knights by hunting treasure hoarders for fun and gathering intel because his position is literally useless.
I also think Jean’s hands are tied because she’s also barely legal and has too much pressure and is probably going off some some handbook and can’t reorganize things too much to not piss of Varka when he gets back. Plus they’re short-staffed. It’s very likely Varka groomed Jean in some way to succeed him and just put way too much pressure on this kid so now all she knows is how to work. Yeah I don’t like Varka lol.
For Kaeya it’s like “don’t bite the hand that feeds”. Kaeya leaving the knights would lose him EVERYTHING and he cannot risk that. There’s also a real chance that Varka knows about his past and if he leaves, he would become a target due to him being potentially dangerous.
It’s just a big mess all around and Ragbros+Jean are dysfunctional adults that had unrealistic pressures put on them as kids.
I was today years old when I learn that sometimes people in Cluster B can have specific disorders with a mix of traits from other disorders (example: BPD with histronic traits, ASPD with narcissistic traits)
fuck, I hate telehealth, but ya know, I think I’d actually like it if it was in minecraft instead of a video call. Let’s do therapy in roblox or something.
