This is one of the angst ideas that you sent to me.

Holding the small trinket in your hands, you stare at it with a surprised expression. You look back up at the bot in front of you who was now looking away, little dash marks on his ‘cheeks’. Flicking your gaze from the gift and back to P03 again, you then smile happily. “It’s perfect, P03. Thank you.” 

“It’s nothing.” The bot mumbled, doing a motion that you could only describe as a shrug. You gave a slight huff and kissed his monitor, causing it to let out a beep of surprise. Your cheeks ached at how much you were smiling, but you didn’t mind that. What you did mind, was the adorable yet hilarious look of disgruntlement on your partner’s face. 

You raised a brow, still carrying a smirk. “You can’t be mad at me for that one.” You chided, which only seemed to ruffle him up more. “As a matter of fact, yes I can.” P03 retorted, but you knew he didn’t entirely mean anything that it said. You simply dropped the smirk into a more gentle and thoughtful smile, taking his claw and squeezing it gently. “Though, I did mean it. It’s a very thoughtful gift..” You trail off, but the sincerity shown in your words. 

He seemed to soften at this too, gently pulling you closer and lightly bonking his monitor against your head. “I know you did.” P03 uttered softly, the warmth of his monitor from quick motors pressing against your head. The entire embrace felt warm, so soft and comforting. You try to lean yourself a little closer…

The bitter feeling of the frosty air around you stung your cheeks, you opened your eyes wide only to see a dark ocean, reflecting an inky sky bursting with stars. You weren’t inside the factory, you were at a cliff side where you and P03 used to stargaze. He wasn’t at your side when you turned to look, only feeling a familiar shape in your hand. Looking down, you saw the trinket he had gifted to you long ago, the one he gave you when you both were only together for a few months. 

The factory wasn’t there anymore, completely gone from existence. Most of the game was recovered, but the factory and most of the people inhabiting the isles were not. Your eyes watered, gripping the trinket tight in your hand. You pulled it close to your chest, feeling more hopeless and alone than you had when you first came back. This world; a world without P03, his factory, its workers, the Scrybes, some of your friends, it didn’t seem like a world you wanted to live in. 

Your breath was crushed under a wave of grief at the thought, not wanting to live out your life in this world alone. But choice didn’t seem to be a factor here, not anymore. You simply curl up and sob quietly to yourself, underneath a dark blue sky.

my greatest fear… i dunno man, probably like not fitting in. like the desi population of my school is split in half: super dorky or super popular and i fit into neither and i don’t have a steady friend group so there’s that

yeah i think my greatest fear is not having friends or fitting in (as of now at least)

please i love you i'm begging you bring back suspension of disbelief bring back trusting the audience like. i cannot handle any more dialogue that sounds like a legal document. do you know how many people are mad that authors use "growled" as a word for "said"? it's just poetics! they do not literally mean "growled," it's just a common replacement for "said with force but in a low tone." it's normal! do you hear me!! help me i love you please let me out of here!!!
