Yoooo another banger episode! Hot dang this feels great, y’all. ✌️ I’m really impressed with their balance of dramatic/emotional scenes with comedic scenes in this episode. It was so fast paced, but somehow they got everything in. Once again seeing the connection of the 118 is all I want. ❤️ That’s a team and a family. This was Athena, Bobby’s, and Hen’s episode. 

Now my initial Spoiler Thoughts for 7x3:

Bobby is a badass! Hahaha Athena saying she wishes Buck could see Bobby do the rescue, and Bobby wishing he’d seen Buck do it instead.

Wes! My man!! So good under pressure helping Bobby and rescuing Norman. And then… yeah I cried when Wes died. What didn’t help was him telling his captain to tell his wife and kid he loves them. =(((((( Another lovely touch was Bobby holding Wes’s hand before he had to leave.

Corey’s family is like Home Alone with Kevin being left. Twice. I enjoyed the chaotic comedy the family gave though.

Norman believes in Bobby. <333 Norman is such a great hype man for Bobby and Wes, but he’s also a bit of a savage with Lola. Well deserved.

Huh, Tommy ready and willing to help people he knew from the 118 to uh, go above board? Well to do a rescue that wasn't sanctioned or whatever the term is. Nice. He’s got a sense of humor too, which I certainly appreciate.

Loved the comedy in the helicopter both times. Honestly great comedic timing from everyone. 

I like that Eddie will have a better memory now in association with helicopters.

Really impressed with the balance of heavier moments with lighter moments, as I said in the non spoiler part, but it’s true.

Don’t think I didn’t miss the blocking on that rescue ship. Buck and Eddie standing next to each other, then Tommy being in the middle. Then Buck doing a “thank you for the help” shoulder grab. People can interpret that however they please, but it really did just look like grateful thanks from Buck to Tommy. And btw, I’m not opposed to Buck and Tommy possibly being romantically involved for a time. Like, I don’t feel strongly about Tommy one way or the other right now, but he seems like a decent dude I guess. While I’m still hoping for a Buck and Eddie endgame, it’s perfectly okay and fine if Buck dates other guys before dating Eddie. That’s life, yeah? (...although I am wondering if Buck will still have a bi awakening, but may not date someone. like. i really don't know, but who knows? maybe Buck and Eddie will still be the first guys they're with. we'll have to wait and see.)

And Lola is back to jail? Prison?? Probably prison this time. I did appreciate that she owned up to her big mistakes and apologized to Norman. 

The Bobby and Athena reunion hug? That was sweet.

Oh so Hen will not get in trouble. I still feel like she’s going on some kinda arc this season, something to deal with… maybe some biases and how she makes calls? Someone else may have phrased this better than me. In any case, I’m curious where it’s all going for her. 

Yay more Hen and Maddie scenes! Heh, and Hen thanking Maddie for - I can’t remember the phrasing now, but basically for being a gossip with Chimney haha.

Athena and Bobby just. laughing at the stress of it all once back home, then…. *sexy music starts playing* 👀 Heyyyyyy. 🤙

Oh! Before I forget. Once again Buck and Eddie were, I think, in every scene together. Never separated. Others in fandom have spotted this *gestures* thing going on this season so far. Any scene Buck is in? Eddie is with him. 👀 Okay. 👀 👀

Another really fun episode. Again I was so happy to see our 118 family talking/calling/communicating with each other. That’s when this show is strongest, when they’re together and not separated *cough* unlike in season 6 and some of season 5 *cough*. Anyway!

Hm, I do think this 3 episode story could’ve been 4 episodes if they had a longer season. But given the time constraint, I think they did a great job. =))

ok so forgive me if I’m misremembering a little while ago you made a post where you said you were thinking of maybe?? getting a second partner to help you out and I half-jokingly suggested Golett because you know. I love them. but it’s just occurred to me to say that I worked with ground types my whole life up until 17 when I left for paldea and let me tell you ground types are absolutely obsessed with like, environmentalism and all that (due to their elemental connection to the land). so genuinely if you were to get a second partner I’d recommend a ground type as it would likely match your enthusiasm for environmentalism and protecting the ecosystem. also because ground types are just lovely mons.

Aw Trace, what a bud 🤙. You do remember correctly, I am thinking about adding a new partner. And ground types are wonderful, I love em, I love knowing them, but I can't really see myself with a ground type partner.

I've adapted to a pretty specific style of patrol. The longest station I've had was back in Fortree, where I worked with a pack of mightyena (Michael's pack!). My whole style, for patrolling, for fighting, for living in general, is bent around training and living with pokemon that have a pretty strong sense of pack dynamics. I can't see myself working well with a partner that doesn't operate in at least a similar way - it would feel like starting as a new ranger all over again.

This goes doubly when I think about how much better it would be if I could patrol WITH a pack again, instead of just me and Michael. I was honestly a better, more effective ranger back in Hoenn than I am now. Not that the Union allows us to patrol with more than one partner but shhhh

I'm... admittedly kinda adverse to change, and taking on a new partner is a huge undertaking (especially stacked with caring for Macaroon and her needs). I...think I'll most likely end up with a houndoom or maybe a mabosstiff, some dark type dog mon that's native to Paldea. But even then, their pack dynamics are wildly different to a mightyena's, which could cause conflict or confusion between them and Michael. I know they have some yenas over in Kitakami, which is super close. I might take a day trip over there to see what the vibe is. But idk! It's honestly a really hard decision, idk what would be best. You're right, ground types are incredible. But I dont...think they're the right fit for me.

My own thoughts and opinions on Allisha Gray and her villainous era

P.S In my own opinion--I'd think in my own opinion all of the USA States should have an emoji of their own flag represented each of the states in my own opinion therefore I could have probably used the Hawaii Flag in my own opinion. (Again, no "True" offense to everybody out there whom they are reading this blog post on my own Tumblr)

In my own opinion--I am sure Allisha is going to enter her villainous era ever since the trade from Dallas to Atlanta due to the reason that Coach Vicky Johnson had messed up the relationship between both Allisha Gray and Dallas Wings and to add the insult to the wound--Lish had been feeling under-appreciated for way too long during her time with the Dallas Wings and NO "True" Offense to any of the Atlanta Dream fans and Las Vegas Aces fans out there but in my own opinion--I do think Allisha would be a better fit for Dallas Wings as if they did truthfully prioritize her properly then she would have been in my own opinion been in the same route as how Sue Bird had spend most of her time in the WNBA with the Seattle throughout the season where she did played as a (Now former) basketball player.

Plus speaking of Allisha and the Dallas Wings--if you are wondering why did she left Dallas for Atlanta; one of the reasons she did truthfully left Dallas is not only when former coach VJ had said something about how she criticizes how Allisha didn't played well against the Las Vegas Aces back in June 2021 additionally she said she (Allisha) isn't properly used to the defense system she had drawn up for the team to utilize it properly and to add the insult to the wound--Vicky had even said the 3x3 Basketball qualification had even caused a delay on Allisha's mindset plus this does really makes me want to truthfully slap Vicky across the face for saying that and then criticizing about how Allisha didn't know how to play very well and I also want to slap the general Greg Bibb for the way he prioritize Arike over Allisha and yet having to let Coach VJ to coach for two years in a row when we could have seen a coach like Brian Agler or Latricia Trammel and then things would have gone differently; everybody.

Plus I do really think Allisha deserves better especially I do wish that there is a team in Honolulu, Hawaii just so she can truthfully go there but again . . . I truthfully doubt Allisha did wanted to go to Hawaii to continue on with her basketball career but I really didn't want her to truly simply be only appreciated if she either goes to a very popular team or worse; when she is gone. (No way, Jose. Also sorry if I did truthfully triggered you by giving you a scare on the last part but this is my blog so I do have the "Truthful" rights to truthfully say something about Allisha Gray as she is one of my favorite players FYI.)

Honestly, I do really think Allisha deserves so much better in my own opinion--and although she may be with the Atlanta Dream now: I'll still forever supporting her no matter where she goes and I do think she does deserves better during her time with the Dallas Wings but I'm still not feeling deeply happy about the part where Greg Bibb decided to prioritize Arike and let go of Allisha Gray for good in my own opinion.

A Little Jealousy

A/n: every time I see this title, I think of Monsta X 🤙

There was always a little part of Cassie that felt protective of the men who surrounded her daily life. From simply wanting to take care of them if they ever fell ill, to not liking it when anyone even so much as looked in their direction. There was one of them in particular who she didn't like the attention he would get on a regular basis, and while yes he was essentially famous, Cassie didn't think that meant anything.

"Who is this girl?" Cassie said as she scrolled through multiple pictures of Amai with another female.

Cassie didn't recognize her from anything, not another girl group, not a childhood friend, not someone at the company, not even a manager. Cassie was slightly filled with jealousy thinking that maybe Amai had moved on from trying to date her and was with this girl. She felt her face hot and thought about why she should even be upset with this.

"I-I mean, we're not dating and I..." She trailed off for a second. "Well I am single! I can get upset if someone who I have the chance of dating is with some other girl... it would be different if it was a guy who was all over Amai, but..." She grunted and locked her phone before sitting in her chair looking out the window.

What should I do?

Cassie didn't know what to do, she didn't even know if she could fully call this jealousy or not.

She thought for too long on it and found herself becoming disinterested in everything. She didn't want to write, she didn't want to eat, she didn't even want to move her hand to put her desktop to sleep. She rolled her eyes thinking about Amai.

"I mean, he can date if he wants to, but why put me through all of that for so long then?" Cassie wondered if she was taking this too seriously. Right as she was thinking that her phone went off and without thinking she answered it.

"Hello?" Her voice came out angry.

"Woah, what's wrong with you?" She heard Amai say.

"Nothing." She simply stated.

"Well okay... but I'm near your place right now and I figured maybe we could hang out for a bit."

The hell? "Aren't you busy?"

"No, I finished practice a while ago, but we still have something to film later tonight. We just got a little bit of time off."

Cassie pressed her lips together. She knew saying no to him would only cause some kind of problem down the line, especially because Amai could very easily find out she wasn't doing anything from Ankara.

"Alright, where are you at?"

"By that cafe near your place."

"Alright, I'll be there in a bit." She hung the phone up right after saying that and got up to get dressed appropriately.

As Cassie was getting ready to leave when it suddenly began to rain. The universal sign of something being wrong... Cassie sighed and got an umbrella and headed out to meet with Amai.

When arrived at the cafe, she saw the dyed gray hair of Amai mixing with the slight mist of the rain, she didn't bother to call for him, but as she got closer she noticed he was talking to someone. She stopped trying to see who it was and Cassie only felt her blood boil.

He's really with her? Does that mean-

Cassie's mind went all over the place and her thoughts about the rain didn't help. However, she went up to Amai and finally got to him, the girl looked at Cassie causing Amai to turn around as well.

"Hey, sorry to call you out like this." Cassie said nothing. "But, she has to go so." The girl nodded and gave a smile to Cassie.

"Too bad we can't talk a bit more." Cassie gave her a fake smile. "Maybe some other time?" The girl suggested. Cassie nodded without a word. "Alright then, you two have fun!" She said teasingly.

Amai sighed and gave Cassie his full attention.

"She's really too much with that... but good thing I was here or I would've got caught in the rain. Maybe we can share an umbrella." Amai said with a chuckle, Cassie made no effort to talk. Amai gave her a look. "Okay seriously, I knew something was wrong over the phone. What's up?" He said.

She finally said, "it's nothing serious."

"Well it's making you upset, so it must be serious."

Cassie looked off but then spoke suddenly. "It's nothing... but I was wondering who that girl was?"

"Oh, it might be bad for me to tell you this, but you don't even go on social media." Amai got close and whispered. "She's gonna be a host for this new show that's planned to air in the winter. Our group is planning to be the first guests!"

Cassie felt a bit happy about that. "So, you know her from work?" Amai nodded. Cassie released a small sigh.

"Wait a second, you've never asked me about anyone else I've been with before."

"Well, it's just because I saw a few pictures of you two together."

"So? I take pictures with my bodyguards sometimes. You know that's just how I am." She looked off. "No way." She looked back to Amai, "Are you jealous?" Cassie stared without saying anything. "Oh shit you are!"
