I need Battison to have a Robin.
I need him to carry around a little bundle of joy in his arms. I need him to risk his life saving him from the movie’s big bad. I need him to hold his tiny hands or cradle his tiny face. I need him to crack the smallest of smiles when Robin makes a pun.
I need him to walk into the penthouse, tired and angry and sad, and see his little Robin sprawled across the floor, giggling as his crayons draw him and Alfie and B—their little family.
I him to crawl out of the darkness with Robin. His Robin.

Early in their time at Scoops Ahoy, Robin forgets that she’s decided to hate Steve forever and starts telling him a funny story about the time her family went to camping. Steve’s laughing along and afterwards is like, “That’s so funny. I stopped telling people stories about my childhood.”
Robin thinking that Steve must’ve went on all these extravagant trips and did a lot of cool stuff, is like, “Why, all your friends jealous?”
“No,” Steve says, distractedly restocking sprinkles. “Everybody kept being like, ‘ that’s messed up. Are you okay? You should tell an adult about that.’ It was really annoying so I stopped saying stuff.”
Robin just stares at him because, what?
After a second goes by, and then another, and then another… Steve looks up and frowns, “Hey, space cadet. You with me?”
Robin blinks.
She decides he’s joking. He has to be. No one is that casual about shit and he doesn’t even look serious so she tells him as she walks back out to help a customer, “It’s messed up to say things like that.”
“That’s exactly what I was talking about,” Steve tells the empty room.

so Bob agrees to be a human lab rat because he believes his only worth as a person now is to be a glorified test dummy to advance science, he's stuffed in a box then wakes up with a gun to his head and immediately almost dies but still doesn't blame any of that on the people who put him in the box or the people with the guns, meets the first person in what feels like forever who asks if he's okay because they genuinely care about him, and he immediately sacrifices himself for them, oh his hero complex is SO fucked up. I need five more movies

suguru kisses your temple as he places your coffee in front of you, softly laughing at your still half-asleep expression before taking his seat right across from you. messy strands of hair cascade down over his shoulders and he tucks a few stray ones behind his ear, so his view is as clear as day – suguru needs to be able to see the way your eyebrows furrow as you yawn or he'll die. he needs to be able to see that sliver of skin that peeks from under your shirt, his shirt, as you stretch and rub your eyes or he'll die. he needs to be able to see the way your eyes widen just a tad at the first taste of the coffee, of the affection suguru offers you through a simple drink. it's him, it's all him.
he's everywhere – he's on your tongue as you swallow, he's in your nose as you inhale. he's on your skin as you get dressed every morning, he's in your head when you wake up. your shoes are clean and you know it's him, your laundry is done and you know it's him. there's a cup of coffee waiting for you and you know it's him. a pair of soft hands, a brush of lips against the shell of your ear and it's always him. he's everywhere you look, guarding and protecting, loving, and all he needs in return is the little sweet 'aahh' that tumbles from your lips just as you meet his eyes across the table.
you see the grin tugging on his lips before he hides it behind his own mug, the very same one you gifted him last christmas. his hands cup the ceramic with utmost care; he likes the warmth of it – of the coffee and of the adoration stored inside it.
under the table, your knees knock together.
under your ribs, your hearts stutter.
you're laughing and he's in love.

Honestly, having to corral a 20 year old, deeply unhinged/semi-feral Bruce would probably have all of his kids discovering some kind of shrimp emotions. And also have them understanding why their regular-aged Bruce tells them not to go too hard on training/patrol/etc. because seeing their younger dad do so is so uncomfortable and terrifying for all involved
(Meanwhile, the JL is somewhere between scared and riotously horny about younger Bruce, when they run into him while deaged)
20 year-old Bruce sliding his shoulder back into place without making a sound:
Dick: did you just....put your own shoulder back in?
20 year-old Bruce: oh yeah, I'm fine, it's just that the League doesn't like it when we make noise when we dislocate things
Jason, whose memory of Bruce's "scream if you need to" speech during his first shoulder dislocation as Robin was Formative™: make...noise?
20 year-old Bruce, nodding: other than the sound of it dislocating, which can't always be helped. but you can muffle it if you anticipate the blow right--

Stanley Pines is dying.
A good samaritan on the street found his unconscious body and decided to call an ambulance for him. Stan doesn’t remember everything that happened. He just knows that a few days and a multitude of tests later, he was unceremoniously diagnosed with a terminal illness in a random hospital in the middle of Oklahoma. Emphasis on terminal. The doctors tell him that without treatment, he has maybe two weeks to live.
Stan can’t afford treatment, nor the hospital bill he’s sure to be slapped with from his current stay. He sneaks out during the night shift and disappears. It’s one more debt added to the list but it’s not like it’s going to matter once he’s dead anyway. He finds the last place he left his car and spends the rest of the night awake in the backseat, wondering what he should do.
In the end, the conclusion is obvious: he wants to see his family. To say his final goodbyes to them in person. However, this brings a new dilemma. Stan’s family are all in different places. His parents in New Jersey, Shermie in California, and Stanford in Oregon. Stan, currently in Oklahoma, is stuck in the middle and with a decision to make.
He can’t visit them all. As much as he’d like to, Stan has neither the money, the gas, or the time to do so. He’d probably die before he could see all of them. He only has enough energy and resources to make it to one of them; he’ll have to be content with phone calls to the others to say his goodbyes.
When the morning comes, Stan gets into the driver’s seat and starts the engine of the car. He sits there for a moment, just breathing deeply. He has to pick a family member to see in person before he dies, and he doesn’t have a lot time, so he has to choose quickly.
It was never really a question.
He chooses Ford.
AKA a terminally ill Stanley makes his way up to Gravity Falls, Oregon to reunite with his brother. He wants to say his goodbyes and apologies in person before he dies. He’s not happy about dying, but he doesn’t think he has much to live for anyway, so he accepts it. He just wants to make things right between himself and Ford before it happens so he can go without regrets.
Stanford is not expecting his estranged twin to randomly show up looking like he’s literally on death’s door. Nor is he approving of Stanley’s plan to seemingly just lay down and die. Good thing Stan came to him. Now he’s given Ford a chance to do something about it.
All current research and projects get shoved aside as Ford focuses everything he has on a new, single task: take care of Stanley and save his life.
(Amazing addition by tinfoil-jones here)
