I have seen your beef with Monkey Prince, and now I have to ask. What is your opinion on DC Comics Devil Nezha?

FUCK THAT. Another insult to Asian culture even moreso when you remember Ne Zha's story and what he represents. Despite his family's shortcomings, the young god sacrificed himself for their salvation out of love.

He represents changing one's destiny despite everything stacked against them. Thus to have Ne Zha become a villain for such low born fruit is greatly insulting. Want a good representation?

Ne Zha 2019 and its sequel(which I haven't watched yet) are the best. Lego Monkie Kid also has an interesting take on the mythological character.

Marcus Shugel-Shen (a.k.a. Marcus Sun) is a Chinese-American hero, the motherflippin' Monkey Prince; cloned from the Monkey King (Sun Wukong) during a battle w/ Darkseid centuries ago, he found new life of his own (regressed to a baby, hid inside a rock & got adopted by an interracial henchman couple, one of whom is daughter of the Ultra-Humanite); now, he's on a journey to rediscover himself & the mighty magical powers for which his mythic counterpart is famous (ntm coming to terms w/ the villainy of his adopted family), along the way crossing paths w/ heroes like Batman, Aquaman & Shazam!

Billy: Well, I figure, if they wish for anything douchey, then you hit them with your stick.

Marcus: What, I just hit them?

Billy: Yeah. With your stick.

Marcus: What, one time, a bunch of times? I mean how hard do you want me to hit them?

Billy: I don't know, I thought I'd kind of leave it to your discretion, based on how bad the wish was.

Marcus: That's not what happens in that movie.

Billy: I'm not allowed to watch horror movies, in case they scar me for life with how scary they are.

Marcus: Don't you regularly deal with scary stuff?

Billy: Yeah but when we let Darla watch Gremlins she screamed and cried, and we had to spend hours explaining that nothing actually does that if you feed it, and she took that to mean it's okay to feed anything you find in the backyard.

Marcus: Oh, is that where the family of raccoons came from? I was wondering about that.

Billy: Right. Which is why you have to hit my neighbor if he tries to wish away the raccoons.

Marcus: Monkey's Paw.

Billy: Monkey's Paw.

Saw one post you made that ao bing would meet batman and robin in gotham! Whats the dark knights and lil robins opinion on the nepo dragon?

I assume you're talking about this quote.

Batman is suspicious of the arrival of the De Clan in Gotham, and is even more suspicious about the chairman's son.

When Bruce actually begins to see how Boss De treats his son (his remaining son), he immediately recommends that Ao Bing get professional help. He tries to be a friend to De Zheng (however well that goes).

It's common knowledge that Batman's greatest strength is his compassion. He tries to help his Rogues, no matter how many times he fails or how many times they backslide. He is a little disheartened to see Ao Bing hanging with the Rogues.

Damian hates De Zheng on sight, thinking he's a coddled moron unworthy of his attention. When he learns the truth and about his backstory, he's a little more compassionate (maybe meeting the water beast cub helps, and letting him drive his car doesn't hurt either).

On a completely unrelated note, there is this Rumor going around, causing trouble for the Dynamic Duo. He seems to have it out for Robin, for some reason.

Also, while I have yer attention: What is *yer* beef with DC’s Monkey Prince?

It's an absolute middle finger to Journey to the West as a whole and character assassination for Batman too. Without going into a rant, Sun Wukong greatly upholds the value of family that he sees his own as subjects like his children/grand children. He wouldn't knock up some woman than leave her alone to raise his child.

The Golden Filet used on Monkey Prince was a torture device. It's purpose being to punish Sun Wukong's misbehavior by squeezing his head, one way to harm the spiritual monkey of the mind. Pigsy is also a terrible pick for teacher as he often lied or got the Monkey King into trouble in the first place. He didn't become a Buddha post journey either.

Batman isn't the Punisher in a bat costume running around traumatizing children either. His original concept never made him a killer since it would make him as bad as the Joker who killed his parents. Batman always gives them a chance to get professional help if you look at the old cartoon 'Batman the Animated Series'.
