“Well there’s contract magic- that’s what Constantine does, along with the majority of prevalent magic users.” Tim nudged her foot out of the way, continuing the chalk circle around them. Sam turned to follow, wondering how he managed to keep the circle so even.

“Wait, who’s Constantine?” Tucker asked. “They’re not in the files.”

“He’s a pain in everyone’s ass.” Danny muttered. “He’s in contract with half the Creatures on this side of the realms. You know the amount of ghosts I got complaining to me cause he tricked them better than they could when they went under contract?”

“Hnn, yeah most wouldn’t take too nicely to getting tricked. Salt please.” Tim handed the chalk to Tucker in exchange for salt from the bag he’d shoved into the other teen’s arms. “And then someone like Zatanna is Born with her magic, but Born are rare, so I doubt one of them would be targeting you three specifically. Leaves us with Creature or Cursed.”

Sam watched in mild amusement as Danny tried to smudge the chalk-and-salt lines, static bursting from the point and making him recoil. “Creature, that would be fae-things right? Ghosts, demons, whatever is made of magic or magic adjacent?”

“Basically. Salt will help with that. The chalk is hopefully for anyone who tries to cast like how I do. Although trying to harness magic by manipulating curses is rare since it involves far too much grave and museum robbing. Lucky for me, mom and dad did the legwork, so I haven’t needed to rob a grave yet. Mind setting this cat pair at the northern and eastern points of the circle?” He offered two tiny stone cats to her and Sam wrapped her hands around them, the smooth stone unnaturally chilled.

Danny blinked at the small children Ellie was holding the hand of, looking quite proud of herself. The small children- between ten and twelve so somewhere similar to Ellie’s age- who both practically stank of magic and Gods. 

He took a deep breath, pinching the bridge of his nose even as Dan cackled while opening the door more to let them inside. “Alright, what’s your name, kids?”

“B-billy…um, Billy Batson...” “‘m Percy! Percy Jackson.” 

“Nice to meet you two- any idea where in your family you have a god or two, because one of you definitely smells like Zeus and I’m pretty sure Poseidon and I am not dealing with either of my half-brothers.”

Quinnella rolls her eyes, striking a seductive pose - though there was no coy tauntingly lustful glint in her eyes as she guided her fingers down her curves.

“I’ve hardly hued further than a candlewick.” She spoke the fairy saying automatically. A rather sarcastic method of telling one to eye the hue of one another’s glow to determine one’s mood.

Seeing Desmond’s despondent expression though, her glow dimmed. She shoved her a curl out of her eyes before daintily rising up from her seat. “I’m not mad - not at you.” She crosses her arms, kicking her foot as she flits to hover into the air.

Even so, she eyes him with a reprimanding pout upon her lips, “but is it truly such a chore that you remain up in my chambers for a few measly hours like I had asked of you?”

Ignoring the fact that her Father had placed many a Knight out beyond her windows and chamber doors to ensure his daughter did not flit off the second his back was turned. Not that the extra precautions had aided in her entrapment. She had many a way of natural talented persuasion with men of any race.

Even so. She had even asked nicely - and offered a kind reward for his obedience. Now the hero would be lucky enough if he were allowed to hold her delicate hand in his; he could altogether forget the very idea of a kiss, or better.

Life lessons different Harry Potter characters have taught me:

Harry James Potter taught me to always look for the best in people and to try to be forgiving and kind to others.

He taught me to show empathy to others and that hard work pays off.

Severus Snape taught me that it doesn‘t matter what you look like on the outside. What matters is your character. He taught me that loyalty is one of the greatest values and that true love is everlasting.

He taught me to be confident in myself and my abilities and to be ambitious in all i do.

He taught me the meaning of resiliance, bravery and sacrifice.

Albus Dumbledore taught me that you should always remember to turn on a light even in the darkest of times.

He and Lily Potter taught me that love is the strongest and most powerful feeling in the world.

It‘s the most powerful form of magic.

Luna Lovegood and Nymphadora Tonks taught me to always be myself, even when others shun me for it. There is no shame in being who you are. Don‘t let others dim your light;)

Remus Lupin taught me to be patient and to try to give my knowledge to the next generation. He taught me that my illness doesn‘t define me.

Hermione Granger taught me the importance of knowledge in life or death situations- and to always be eager to learn and aquire new skills.

Ron Weasly taught me that a true friend is oftentimes hard to find but never replacable.

He taught me the value of friendship.

Minerva McGonnagal taught me that‘s important to be organized and disciplined in all i do. She taught me the importance of taking responsibility for my own actions.

Neville Longbottom taught me that i can decide on the direction my life takes and how important it is to stand up for myself. Neville taught me that even those of us who started small can become a great human being. He taught me the meaning of true bravery.

Rubeus Hagrid taught me that all life is valuable. And therefore you should always try to be kind to every living creature. No matter how small or insignificant they seem.

Hedwig taught me that friendship can take many forms and she and Dobby taught me that the smallest beings can be the most loyal.

Fred and George Weasly taught me to believe in my dreams and always try to put a smile on other peoples faces. They taught me the importance of humour in my life.

Ginny Weasly taught me that there is no shame in being a woman.

True strength comes from the inside.

And the fire inside you can never be extinguished.

I don’t have a type…

Ok I absolutely LOVE any media when there are themes of grief, love, loss, death, mortality, morality, self discovery, etc. When it revolves around family or some sort of family unit and there’s a bit of ✨magic✨ like some sort of supernatural force, a curse, or an ambiguous/ unconfirmed magic source. It gets me hooked EVERY time it is so specific but I live for it.

Fine Fragrance Mist Sale Haul! 😊

Here are my first impressions/reviews:

Chasing Fireflies- floral and fresh! it smells a bit like a laundry scent tbh but with a nice fresh outdoorsy scent too. 🌾🌌

Champagne Toast- i didn’t love this scent but after having it in the body wash it’s been growing on me! it’s very sweet and fruity. i love that you can distinctly smell each scent note with the champagne, berry, and tangerine. 🥂🍓

Underwater Oasis- i had to pick up a backup of this one, as i love it. it’s floral and musky with a marine vibe too it 🌊🪸

Midnight Blue Citrus- i’m so glad i got my hands on this. it’s such a wonderful summery sweet fruit and i love the citrus and mango combination 🥭🍊🍋

Midnight Spell- i reviewed this in the cream already but the spray is so goood! it’s also a bit stronger in the mist than the cream. it is delightfully spooky and will be perfect for halloween! it’s a dark woodsy scent with amber 👻

Everlasting Magic- i almost passed this up and i’m so glad i didn’t! the berries and petals give it a nice vampy vibe then it dries down to the muskiness that kind of reminds me of a note in Aspen Caramel Woods. (i wish they’d bring that one back it was soooo good). this will be great for halloween and it gives me Morticia Addams vibes 🥀

Pumpkin Pecan Waffles- i grabbed this for my mom because she really likes it. it’s very very sweet and is known to be a strong scent. a perfect desserty scent for fall! it’s true to its name for sure. 🧇🎃

Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte- a fall classic. it’s again, not a latte scent so much as a cozy marshmallow scent but it is amazing. ☕️🍂

Leaves- i’m so happy to have this in the mist as well as the cream now! it is strong and definitely evokes the feeling of jumping into a pile of leaves then going inside for a cup of mulled cider! the apple is layered in there but the warm clove spice comes through strongly in this one. i have a feeling this will be a fall go to. 🍁🍂

In the Stars- i’ve always loved this in the cream and decided to grab it in the mist because i adore the new packaging. it’s a strong and sophisticated scent that would be good for a night out! it blends floral, woodsy, and musky notes and has lots of layers. 💫🌠✨
