Each choice you make influences the story, and by then end of it you could be a rogue worse than the Joker, or the catalyst that brought the batfam back together 👀

Edward was actually sent to Blackgate the first time he was arrested after the events of Arkham Origins. His crimes, serious as they were, weren't deemed extreme enough to send him to a more secure place since his crimes were largely cyber in nature. Extortion and blackmail were his most significant wrongdoings as well as abusing his position of being head of the GCPD's Cyber Crime Division, his actions causing significant civil unrest as people learned of Mayor Hamilton Hill's ties to the Maroni Family, which Edward was responsible for leaking. Enraged at what he considered being punished for simply spreading the truth, Edward instigated one of Blackgate's biggest riots to date, escaping during the chaos before remodelling himself as the Riddler.

Reading Gotham Academy and picking We Are Robin back up. (I got distracted by other fandoms for a bit.) I also recently finished Whistle.

Okay, DC Animation, I would kill for an anthology series à la Paranoia Agent focusing on Gotham's civilians. With the Bat family making cameos here and there.

It would be a great opportunity to adapt the extended family's origins (Duke, Stephanie, Cass), while also exploring the lives of those affected by the events in Gotham (Willow Zimmerman, Olive Silverlock).

Maybe an overarching plot is the Robin movement and ends with Duke becoming Signal?

“If you are asking whether or not I’ve noticed how very badly he’s been wishing he’d taken up gynecology… let’s just say, he doesn’t whisper quite as softly as he seems to think he does. Time alone in the lab will do that.”

She was quiet for a moment, her expression softening considerably, something like regret passing through her eyes. “… it’s my fault. Teasing him. Letting him get attached. I can’t help it. I always do this. Usually it doesn’t-… mean anything. Usually, people don’t sit there torturing themselves for this long. They’d have had me, and had done ages ago. … but I suppose Jon… is a professional. Despite his circumstances.” Gene chewed her lip.

“… I like him,” she admitted softly. “He makes me feel-… But sometimes I wish he’d just fuck me and leave like the rest, cause if he gets serious-… I can’t-… stay. In Gotham. And the fact that it’s even crossed my mind as being an issue-…” Gene winced. I've seen Gotham go through a lot, but never like this. It feels so much more personal this time. The news is reporting an increase in robberies and violent crime because of the rumors of who we are. There's a mob outside because a nurse revealed what hospital we're in.
