Single Dad Dead on Main
AKA "Danny is the ghost-equivalent of a foster parent for de-aged Dani and Dan. Jason's just wondering who the hell these two feral meta children are." prompt idea!
Danny thinks he's doing an okay job at being a single dad of two. They're living in a quaint two bedroom apartment in Park Row, he's managing his Ghost King money well, and the kids haven't died (again). (He's definitely not getting a "World's Greatest Dad" mug anytime soon, but, hey, at least the house hasn't burned down yet!)
...Until he wakes up from his nap to an eerily silent apartment.
If there's one thing he's learned over the last few months, it's that silence is not good. He's scrambling off the couch fast enough to give himself a headache, practically flying down the hallway so he can get to the kids' room. Ellie is wedged halfway under her bunk bed. Dan's also squished under the bed but quickly squirms out when he realizes Danny's standing in the door way. He's holding... a socket wrench??
"...do I want to know what you two are doing?" Danny deadpans.
Ellie scrambles out as well, smears of something oily on her cheek. For a seven and eight year old, they have surprisingly convincing I'm innocent! expressions.
"I dunno," Ellie singsongs while Dan simultaneously barks, "Nothing!"
Danny squints. The kids squint back. Yeah, there's definitely something under the bed that's not supposed to be there. Since Dan's holding a wrench (and where the hell did he get that?? Danny doesn't even own any tools aside from maybe a little rubber mallet he found in the hallway closet), Danny hopes thinks it's not an animal.
It takes a minute of arguing in which Danny promises not to be mad, let them eat ice cream, and let them stay up an hour later than curfew for the kids to even let him near the bed without biting him. (Jokes on them, the ice cream is sugar free and Danny's going to reset the clocks to an hour before. Check and mate, bitch! Parenting is so easy.)
And then Danny pulls out... a tire. No, a rim. Two tire rims. Oh, Ancients. Engraved on the tire rim is a red Bat symbol. His stomach nearly drops to the floor; everybody in Crime Alley knows what the Red Hood's symbol looks like. "Eight Heads in a Duffle Bag," Crime Prince of Gotham with a gang big enough to take over all of Park Row. And yeah, Danny could easily beat the guy, but that doesn't mean he wants to. He doesn't want to uproot Dan and Ellie from their schools, move cities, run from yet another organization that wants them dead.
"How did you get this?" Danny asks, utterly dumbfounded.
"I dunno," Ellie says, just as Dan's saying, "Nowhere."
(Danny takes it back. Parenting is definitely not easy.)
"Danielle. Daniel. Where did you get these tire rims?" Danny asks again, more stern this time, to which he only gets shrugs. And that's when he notices the window is open and the screen his missing. "You're kidding me. Did you climb out the window? We're on the third floor!"
"We flew, duh." Ellie rolls her eyes, only shooting a wide-eyed, guilty look to Dan when he elbows her with a vicious shuddup!
"I-okay. Here's what we're going to do. We'll... just return the rims. It's not like the Red Hood saw you two steal them-," Danny stops when Ellie and Dan give each other a side-eye. He knows that look. It's the same look he and Jazz used to give each other when they had a silent agreement about something. Oh, no. No, no, no.
"...he didn't see you, did he?"
Another side-eye look. Oh, Ancients. At least there's no way the Red Hood knows where they are, right?
(Jason stares at the kids playing with his bike. He's not stupid enough to think they couldn't have been paid to sabotage it, but the way the little girl hikes herself up onto the seat and pretends to rev the engine makes him think otherwise. It's cute. The boy mostly seems interested in the engraved bat symbol on his tire rims, scraping at it like it's a 3D decal.
"I wanna be a bicycle-rider when I get bigger. I'll wear the jacket and everything!" The little girl laughs, deepening her voice before saying, "I'm a bicycle-rider! I'll beat you up!"
Jason snorts. He's leaning against the fire escape balcony overhead and it's dark enough for them not to see him, but they both freeze at the soft sound. When nothing happens, the kids relax again.
"It's a motorist, stupid. C'mon, help me take this off and I'll build you one."
"You wanna take the tire? Why?"
"'Cus of the symbol! It's the Batman symbol, do you know how scared people are of 'em? Show 'em this and nobody'll mess with us."
The kid's got a point. Crime Alley knows Red Hood's symbol like the back of their hand, but somehow Jason doesn't think rolling around a tire rim is going to have the same effect. Jason's about to step in when the kid bends the fucking metal with his bare hand. His fucking bike. It looks like the kid barely broke a sweat, too; just wiped his hands on his jeans and started prying apart front of his motorcycle.
Jason's voice is more biting than he means for it to when he shouts, "Hey!" He swings over the fire escape, landing with a heavy thud, before hauling ass towards the kids. Almost immediately the boy yanks the girl behind him and snarls... and his eyes go Lazarus-green. Jason stops abruptly. His voice is softer, gentler, when he tries again.
"Hey, kid. Don't you know not to go tearing apart people's bikes? C'mon, at least do it the right way."
That makes the boy pause, looking momentarily baffled and the green turning into bright blue. Jason takes that as an in and says, "Y'know, it's a lot faster when you use tools. I've got a wrench in my bag. If you use it like this..."
Jason spends the next thirty-five minutes helping the kids steal his own damn rims. He shouldn't. But he's curious about who these meta kids are and they're almost painfully easy to talk with, they just blabber like they've never heard of keeping a secret before in their lives. They talk about their dad, school, their favorite tv show. And then they talk about "the bad men" and Jason's stomach drops. "The bad men" who drive white vans, capture people, and experiment on them. And that sounds an awful lot like a meta-trafficking ring in his city, dead set on coming after the kids and their dad.
Then he's very, very grateful he's letting the kids take his rims home. After all, what Bat doesn't put GPS trackers in their symbols?)

DP x DC Prompt
There are a few changes whenever it comes to being the Ghost King. None of which Danny has noticed.
Being the High King of the Infinite Realms almost makes you a god, so all of his subjects will really see him as such. Whenever they look at Danny, whether in his human form or as a ghost, they see him as something truly beautiful. It's almost like there's an alluring glow around him, leaving everyone almost breathless.
For some reason, he's in Gotham (There actually is a reason, but that's a post for another time) and he's been invited to a Startup Event so he can be able to find funding for the company he's started to make. Due to the rumors around him being a skilled engineer, Bruce had sent Jason in to help make investigations since he's learned that Danny lives right in the heart of Crime Alley.
Jason, now wanting to know everyone in his turf finally finds Danny and being as someone who's been dead and revived, he qualifies to be one of Danny's subjects. Only, Jason obviously doesn't know that.
So here Jason is, really trying to wrap his brain about why he thinks this man who looks like he hasn't slept in three weeks (actually, it's 3 and a half weeks thank you very much) is the most beautiful person he's ever seen. The way there's a subtle glow only visible to him. The way he smiled, albeit awkwardly.
Danny, on the other hand, is just confused as fuck. He sees Jason and goes, "Oh! Someone interested in maybe funding me! Here! Let me info dump on you about how it works!" and Jason is just like, "Uhuh yeah. You're pretty."
"What?"
"What?! I said your company is pretty."
"My company is pretty?"
"Pretty cool! I said your company is pretty cool. I- Uh- I have to go." Jason just leaves a blushing mess.
Bruce, in the batcave is just confused as to why his son is having a bisexual crisis in the middle of a mission. Dick is just laughing his head off watching his stone cold brick of a baby brother literally stumble and bumble like an idiot in front of a tired twink.
Edit: I actually wrote something about it!

(Un)fortunate Courting (Request)
Requested by @silverblueglitter
Original Prompt Post this is based on by @diabolichare
A/N: Thank you for the request! I hope this will not disappoint. I am slowly getting back into the grove of writing and out of my block. Also on a side note I am not posting / writing as much right now because work is currently keeping me busy.
Danny was very sure he was doing everything right in regards to ghost culture. Clockwork and Pandora had been educating him very well on that. Sure they did it with some ominous explanation in regards to his future but Danny had shrugged that off. Clockwork had always had a way with words that didn't make sense but somehow did too. Now as he had learned if a ghost wants to cross through another ghosts haunt an offering needs to be made. Ideally the offering is in regards to something the other ghosts likes.
So if he would need, for example, cross through Embers haunt, he would offer her something like guitar strings or something other music related stuff that could be useful to her obsession. With that logic, Danny knew that if he wanted to use the short cut to his collage through Red Hoods haunt he would need to offer the other something. Like he had offered something to Lady Gotham for his stay in Gotham for his collage education. The thing was he would have to offer Red Hood something every time he needed to go through the others haunt, unlike with Lady Gotham who had just accepted a single offer since he wasn't constantly going in and out of her haunt.
But that also left him with what to get the other Halfa as offering.
He had contemplated offering something Red Hood might need for his duty. You know? Maybe some self engineered bullets he could use against ghosts, though Danny knew that was probably unnecessary considering Gotham's protector spirit, Lady Gotham, had a pretty good handle on everything here. Which good, because that meant Danny could fully focused on his studies for once.
That was until Danny realized how much the core of that other Halfa was malnourished. Which gave Danny the perfect chance to catch two ghosts with one thermos, okay bad joke. But seriously, that gave Danny an idea of what to offer for his right of passage through the others haunt. So he made simple care packages that would help the other Halfa. He had thought about supplying some Ecto-Dejecto directly but that felt a little to on the nose and someone who didn't know his family would probably think Danny insane, as if there weren't enough people in his collage thinking that already. Besides he was in Gotham and with villains like Scarecrow and Joker he didn't think a syringe with glowing green contents would be a trustworthy offering.
Anyway, Danny decided to be a bit more discreet, infusing ectoplasm into simple foods, that most importantly, COULD NOT COME ALIVE. So Danny's care packaged ended up consisting of chocolates, snacks and other sweets that would NOT start fighting back. He also figured out how to mix ectoplasm into drinks so it wouldn't taste to overwhelming.
Danny did not anticipate the side effect offerings like that would have or realise what his offerings looked like to someone who did not know about ghost culture.
Jason was torn as he found the n-ed little present box during his patrol route with a little card stating it was for him. He eyed the box having gotten familiar with these boxes over the past month. He lifted the lid and yep.... chocolates.
"Again?" his distorted voice came through his voice modulator as he eyed the chocolates suspiciously. Either he had a very insistent admirer or one of his enemies cooked up a new idea to make him paranoid. Not like his brothers didn't joke about him getting Bruce's paranoia when he had run the sixth box of chocolates through the substance tester to figure out if someone was trying to poison him.
Turned out poison was not in the chocolates but something else. An unknown substance but in small dosages. Jason was currently allowing Tim to run wild in figuring out what was mixed into the chocolates. Also the seasoned vigilante had to admit, that there was something tempting about these sweets. Like something inside him really urged him to eat them. It was only his self-restraint and discipline that helped him resist the urge to taste test some of these chocolates.
Also sometimes there were drink in these packages too. Yes, Jason had run them through the tester too and got the same results like with the sweets and chocolates. No poison but that other strange substance. At first Jason didn't really want to bother with it but these boxes appeared every damn night when he was on patrol, but strangle not on weekend or holidays.
"Oh got another little present, Little Wing!" Jason barely turned around as his older brother dropped onto the roof next to him. "Chocolates this time! How cute! They must really love you!"
Sometimes Jason wished his helmet could portray emotions better as he gave Dick a deadpan stare. "More like wanting to poison me." He muttered his voice changer doing nothing to support the sarcasm in his voice.
"You have to admit it is kind of cute! You have a little fan or admirer! And look these chocolates are even heart shaped! Oh and pralines are in there too!" Dick gushed on about Jason's admirer, while Jason rolled his eyes under his helmet. It would be cute if there wasn't an unknown substance mixed into the stuff left for him. Though he had to admit, whoever left that stuff was getting creative. From what Jason saw they rarely used the same brand of chocolates or sweets to give to him twice. Like they were trying to figure out what he liked. For a brief moment that made Jason wonder, if he actually ate one of these for once, would his admirer present him with the same brand again the next night?
He shock that thought off, no way was he going to eat something with an unknown substance in it. So instead he shoved the box at Dick. "Take that to the cave Dickibird. Gives Pretender more materials to test with."
Dick, to his credit stopped gushing for at that and chuckled. "Can do, but seriously though, what did Oracle say. Did she catch your little admirer on the security cameras at least."
Shaking his head Jason let out a sigh. "No, its like these boxes appear out of nowhere."
"Well at least they are harmless."
"For now." He grunted in response. While they didn't pose a danger, Jason didn't like the implications behind their appearances. For one no matter how much he changed up his patrol routes, these boxes would still appear. There is no video proof of someone placing the boxes. They just appear out of thin air or roofs or his path right when he comes by. If he could believe that the videos that Barbara had showed him weren't manipulated then they just appeared like a couple of seconds before he would find them.
It was suspicious and Jason was determined to find out who leaves them.
Danny hummed his latest earworm song, which happed to be Embers newest hit in the Ghost Zone, as he prepared his next offering to Red Hood. He had thought about leaving these boxes by Red Hoods Safe house during the day on his way to collage but he figured with his own history of being a hero. Secret identities were important and should not be revealed against the others wish.
This time he had gotten the expensive brand of pralines. He hoped Hood would actually like them and eat them hopefully. Danny threaded the moment he would have to try infusing ectoplasm into something other than safe sweets, chocolates and snacks that won't come alive if he didn't find something Hood would eat soon.
The Halfa was so focused on his task of infusing the pralines with ectoplasm that he did not notice the arrival of three of his old ghost rogues, until he got grapped by the collar and throw across his own appartment.
"OW! What the...?!"
"Long Time not seen Pelt." Danny blinked as Skulker stood over him, Ember and Wulf a bit further behind. Wulfs presence explained how the other two managed to show up in his place.
"What are you guys doing here?" He was so not up for a round of ghost body that could potentially destroy his flat.
"Fixing your love life." Ember grinned down at him with Wulf nodding.
"My love life...." Something was definitely wrong. Danny does not remember currently dating anyone. He also didn't have crush, well not a obvious one he thought at least. He was distinctively pushing way that fleeting image of Red Hood out of his mind.
"Yeas your love life Baby Boop." Ember reaffirmed. "Didn't the old ghosts teach you anything. You don't use the human of giving presents when you court a ghost!"
"I... what?" Danny's brain currently really had trouble catching up with what was going on.
"Pelt you need to assert yourself, fight your damn object of attention to proof your worth." Skulker added arms crossed.
"Don't worry we will help you! So you wont fail!" Ember added.
Before Danny could answer or ask what the hell they were going on about though Skulker grabbed him by the back of his collar again and promptly dragged Danny long with him flying out of his flat to who knows where. Distinctive Danny swore he heard laughing that sounded suspiciously like Lady Gotham.
"WAIT SKULKER!" The shout escaped him as his brain finally caught up but before he could go ghost and actually do something he was thrown against someone. Whoever he landed on let out a deep 'oof' that sounded distorted and Danny had a sinking feeling as he hurriedly sat up and came face to face with Red Hood.
"Aw shit...." Danny muttered instantly choosing to turn invisible and hoping that Red Hood had nod seen him long enough to get recognised, worst of all Skulker had dragged him all the way to Hoods haunt when Danny didn't even have an offering! Now he owned Hood two offerings!
"What are you doing Pelt! You are supposed to challenge for the right of courtship first! The courtship presents come later!" Skulker shouted at Danny to which while still invisible Danny choose to flip the other ghost off. Something he would have never done as teen but now that he had come to some sort of understanding with his former rogues was not rare happening, as long as Jazz wasn't there to witness it.
Meanwhile Jason was sitting utterly confused on the roof now, just a moment ago a twig of a man had landed on him and he had seen the other guy for a brief moment before he had disappeared out of nowhere again. He grumbled muttered curses and knew he would have to go though the video footage of his helmet to get a clearer picture of what or rather who had knocked him over.
But he had a feeling it was related to the boxes of sweets and chocolates.

whats wrong with ai?? genuinely curious <3
okay let's break it down. i'm an engineer, so i'm going to come at you from a perspective that may be different than someone else's.
i don't hate ai in every aspect. in theory, there are a lot of instances where, in fact, ai can help us do things a lot better without. here's a few examples:
ai detecting cancer
ai sorting recycling
some practical housekeeping that gemini (google ai) can do
all of the above examples are ways in which ai works with humans to do things in parallel with us. it's not overstepping--it's sorting, using pixels at a micro-level to detect abnormalities that we as humans can not, fixing a list. these are all really small, helpful ways that ai can work with us.
everything else about ai works against us. in general, ai is a huge consumer of natural resources. every prompt that you put into character.ai, chatgpt? this wastes water + energy. it's not free. a machine somewhere in the world has to swallow your prompt, call on a model to feed data into it and process more data, and then has to generate an answer for you all in a relatively short amount of time.
that is crazy expensive. someone is paying for that, and if it isn't you with your own money, it's the strain on the power grid, the water that cools the computers, the A/C that cools the data centers. and you aren't the only person using ai. chatgpt alone gets millions of users every single day, with probably thousands of prompts per second, so multiply your personal consumption by millions, and you can start to see how the picture is becoming overwhelming.
that is energy consumption alone. we haven't even talked about how problematic ai is ethically. there is currently no regulation in the united states about how ai should be developed, deployed, or used.
what does this mean for you?
it means that anything you post online is subject to data mining by an ai model (because why would they need to ask if there's no laws to stop them? wtf does it matter what it means to you to some idiot software engineer in the back room of an office making 3x your salary?). oh, that little fic you posted to wattpad that got a lot of attention? well now it's being used to teach ai how to write. oh, that sketch you made using adobe that you want to sell? adobe didn't tell you that anything you save to the cloud is now subject to being used for their ai models, so now your art is being replicated to generate ai images in photoshop, without crediting you (they have since said they don't do this...but privacy policies were never made to be human-readable, and i can't imagine they are the only company to sneakily try this). oh, your apartment just installed a new system that will use facial recognition to let their residents inside? oh, they didn't train their model with anyone but white people, so now all the black people living in that apartment building can't get into their homes. oh, you want to apply for a new job? the ai model that scans resumes learned from historical data that more men work that role than women (so the model basically thinks men are better than women), so now your resume is getting thrown out because you're a woman.
ai learns from data. and data is flawed. data is human. and as humans, we are racist, homophobic, misogynistic, transphobic, divided. so the ai models we train will learn from this. ai learns from people's creative works--their personal and artistic property. and now it's scrambling them all up to spit out generated images and written works that no one would ever want to read (because it's no longer a labor of love), and they're using that to make money. they're profiting off of people, and there's no one to stop them. they're also using generated images as marketing tools, to trick idiots on facebook, to make it so hard to be media literate that we have to question every single thing we see because now we don't know what's real and what's not.
the problem with ai is that it's doing more harm than good. and we as a society aren't doing our due diligence to understand the unintended consequences of it all. we aren't angry enough. we're too scared of stifling innovation that we're letting it regulate itself (aka letting companies decide), which has never been a good idea. we see it do one cool thing, and somehow that makes up for all the rest of the bullshit?
#yeah i could talk about this for years#i could talk about it forever#im so passionate about this lmao#anyways#i also want to point out the examples i listed are ONLY A FEW problems#there's SO MUCH MORE#anywho ai is bleh go away#ask#ask b#🐝's anons#ai

When the Truth Comes Out
Request: Reader asks, "So, when are you going to ask me to marry you?" I hope I did your prompt justice!
Pairing: Jason Todd x Reader
Summary: It’s been three and a half years since Jason asked you out, and he knows you’re the one. He knows every part of you, the good and bad, and loves it all. The problem is that you don’t know everything about him… and his secrets may ruin everything.
Word count: 3.5k
Jason’s never been one to window shop, but lately he’s been noticing the glint of jewelry.
You give him a weird look when he stumbles in the middle of the department store. It’s because a ring display caught him off guard like a punch to the gut, but he can’t explain that, so Jason waves off your concerned questioning.
You give him a weird look before turning back to the toy aisle. The two of you spent the morning bickering over what present to give Damian for Christmasukkah. You want to give him a keyboard to learn piano, but Jason’s sure that Damian would be happier receiving an art kit. He knows violin, which is a strings instrument, not whatever the piano is. Besides, the kid’s a brat. He’d want a full-size grand piano that originally belonged to Mozart or some shit and costs a hundred thousand dollars, which isn’t exactly pocket cash for the two of you.
And, sure, Jason’s got one of Bruce’s credit cards in his wallet—Bruce offered to give him one in Jason’s name, but it was the principle of using the stolen card, so Jason turned him down—but he’d be damned before he spoiled the kid any more than he already is.
He keeps his eyes firmly on you after that. It’s where they’re supposed to be, anyway.
You end up getting the keyboard after surreptitiously checking your bank account against your projected budget several times. It’s funny. After three years, you still think you can hide stuff like that from Jason. Probably because he pretends not to notice. He makes a mental note to stop by your landlord’s and see if the Red Hood can make any suggestions about lowering rent for your building.
As the two of you walk out of the store, a cold gust of wind tries to steal your breath away. You step closer to Jason, cold fingers twining with his, and he easily drapes an arm over your shoulders to keep you close. “Was that the last one?”
“I think so,” you reply, checking your list again. “The keyboard for Damian, massage gun for Dick, matching pajamas for Cass and Steph, Pokemon expansion pack for Duke, and the fuzzy socks for Tim.”
The socks are decorated with the words ‘I BREACHED CONTAINMENT’ in black stitching. Jason saw them in a tourist trap he saved from a D-list rogue and remembered how Tim looked like the bog monster after falling into the sewers the day before. They’ve been sitting in his closet since the end of August.
“I have too many siblings,” Jason sighs.
“Have you figured out what you’re giving Bruce?”
Jason bites his lip.
You say, “Ah. Well, you still have a couple days.”
Yeah. Jason has two. He’d been supposed to look out for anything to catch his eye in the store, but all he noticed was the stupid ring display.
He opens the car door for you, then shoves the keyboard in its box into the backseat and starts the engine. Jason drives home one-handed. The other holds yours loosely over the console. You’re checking your bank account again on your phone, frowning slightly, thumb brushing up and down Jason’s palm. He keeps an eye on you as he drives, playing idly by squeezing your fingers one by one until you have to try to hide a smile by looking out the window.
He doesn’t let go of your third finger. Something nags at the back of his mind, like—
Jason realizes that he’s trying to find a ring, and his heart stops. The car jumps forward when he slams on the gas, and he drops your hand to put both of his on the wheel as he swerves around a minivan. You let out a startled yelp, hands flying out for something to grab onto. The stupid keyboard slides off the back seat and into the footwell.
Two cars lay on their horns when he nearly sideswipes them. Jason responds with an emphatic middle finger and cuts across three lanes to get away. The poor car doesn’t respond as well to his driving as his motorcycle does, and the engine whines as he leaves the other cars in the dust until he eases off.
As soon as the car reaches a relatively normal speed, you say, “Jay! What just happened?”
“Sorry,” is all he can say, keeping both arms stiff on the wheel. “Sorry, honey.”
“You okay?”
“‘M good. You good?”
“I’m okay, I was just…” You keep looking at him, and Jason’s skin prickles. Do you know? Can you tell?
Jason creaks like old wood, but he pulls back his right arm and puts his hand on the console, palm up. After a moment, you put your left overtop it. He can feel your pulse racing through the thin skin of your wrist.
He squeezes.
You squeeze back.
The day before Christmas, Jason still doesn’t know what to give Bruce. He’d hoped that baking would fix the block, but as he abuses the poor sopapilla dough, he’s no further to any answers.
You’re at the counter, offering moral support but not physical help. Jason’s a bit of a control freak in the kitchen when he’s anxious.
He’s not anxious. He’s not! It doesn’t matter if he gives Bruce something for Chrismukkah. Bruce doesn’t even celebrate Christmas. ‘Not trying to kill him’ is probably a good enough present.
Or the sopapillas. Sure, everyone’s bringing a dish, but no one said it couldn’t also be Jason’s present. But if he goes that route, then the pastries have to be perfect, and the last batch didn’t fluff up the way they did when Catherine made them.
“Jay,” you say after another five minutes of Jason punching dough that is already thoroughly kneaded.
“Yes, love?”
“I think the oil might be ready.”
Judging by the hiss and pops behind him, it is, and has been for several minutes.
Jason tries his best to follow his mother’s actions through his memory, but this batch doesn’t turn out right, either.
“Here,” he says wearily, placing the overflowing plate in front of you. “Let ‘em cool off.”
You wait as long as you can, fingers drumming on the counter as you watch tiny curls of steam drift up from the pile of pastries. Finally, you give in. “Oh my gosh,” you say around a mouthful that was a little too hot, judging by your wince. “Jay, these are amazing.”
“It’s not right, though,” he argues.
“Jay, I didn’t even think it was possible, but these are better than your last batch.”
He shakes his head stubbornly.
“Well, we’ll keep working on it,” you decide. “But really, if you bring these tomorrow, no one will complain. If they do…” You hold up a fist and shake it, mustering up (what you think is) a ferocious scowl.
Jason’s lips twitch. “What if Damian complains? Are you prepared to hit a child?”
“I can’t believe you would even ask me that,” you say. “I live in Gotham. I’ve been waiting for that moment my entire life.”
Despite himself, Jason laughs. He picks up one of the pastries from the dish and bites into it. They could have used more honey. Maybe that was the problem. But you’re right. These are good, and if they’re not, so what? It’s not like Bruce expects much from him anyway.
Jason’s chest squeezes.
Bruce should just be grateful that Jason is there at all.
Fuck.
It’s getting too hard to deny. Despite all his best efforts, Jason has to admit… maybe he does love his family.
It’s the first holiday season where he hasn’t been incandescent with rage toward one of them or another, and he’d underestimated just how nervous he would be. Despite everything that happened between them, he wants tomorrow to go well. The first night of Hanukkah is the same day as Christmas this year, which hasn’t happened for about twenty years. It’ll be Damian’s third Chrismukkah and the first where everyone is in attendance—Jason wasn’t on speaking terms with the family his first year, and Bruce was in the time stream and Tim was across the world last year.
“Hey, Jay.”
“Hmm.”
You swallow without making eye contact, and if he was paying even a little bit more attention, he would have known to prepare himself for what you said next.
“When are you gonna ask me to marry you?”
Jason is a selfish asshole. It’s a miracle that you haven’t figured that out yet after three years of dating him. He half-expects to come back to the apartment to find his stuff in bags. That’s the main reason he’s still out in the cold.
He’s in the middle of another drag when a teasing voice says from behind, “Ooh, must have been a rough day.”
Jason’s hand twitches for his gun, but he recognizes the voice. So he only rolls his eyes and says around the cigarette, “What do you want?”
“Your partner asked me to check up on you. Apparently you looked pretty freaked when you took off.”
Fuck. Jason groans. “How worried did they seem?”
“Ummm….”
“Fuck.”
“Yeah, you kind of messed up.” Spoiler sits next to him, dangles her legs over the side of the roof, and lets them swing idly. “Or they messed up. I thought you quit smoking?”
He exhales a thick plume of smoke. “I did,” Jason says. Dying from smoke inhalation was bad once, but a habit is a habit.
“If it makes you feel any better, they seemed more concerned about you. Not, like, mad or anything.”
Well, that’s something.
“So what happened?”
Jason grunts. Maybe if he stares into the horizon long enough, Spoiler will give up. That was the technique Batman always used when Robin asked the tough questions like, ‘Why am I going home early so you can interrogate Catwoman on your own?’
It only worked sometimes.
Unfortunately, Spoiler seems immune.
Jason grunts and drops the butt of his cigarette. He itches for another, but you’ll already wrinkle up your nose at the smell of one. And, shit, what are you even going to think about him high-tailing it out after that question, leaving for hours, and coming back stinking of smoke?
“I’m a fucking idiot. And an asshole.”
Spoiler huffs. “Everyone already knows that, dumbass. They certainly do.”
“Thanks,” Jason says drily.
“Anytime!” she chirps.
Her heels beat against the side of the building.
She’s not leaving anytime soon, so Jason sighs and gives in. “They asked when I was planning on proposing.”
Spoiler gasps and jumps to her feet. “Oh my God!”
“Yeah.”
“Oh my God!”
“Yep.”
“So you’re engaged?”
“What? No.”
“What?”
“They asked when I would propose. That wasn’t a proposal… I don’t think so. I mean, there wasn’t a ring,” Jason says helplessly.
Spoiler socks him in the shoulder.
“Ow!” Damn, but the girl can pack a punch. He rubs at the sore spot, scowling.
“You stupid idiot!”
“I know.”
“And you just ran away?”
Jason cringes and admits to his lap, “Yes.”
Spoiler hits him in the exact same spot on his shoulder.
“Goddamn it, stop that!”
“I’m going to kill you, Jason Peter Todd.”
“You could certainly try, Stephanie… Brown,” he shoots back.
“You don’t even know my middle name?”
“I don’t care about you.”
She lifts her fist again, but Jason twists out of the way before she can hit him a third time in the same shoulder. It’ll be bruised tomorrow.
“You don’t get it,” he says, balancing on the edge of the roof and feeling exceptionally unstable, even though he’s walked across ledges like this since he was twelve.
“What don’t I get? That you have an awesome partner waiting for you at home? One that wants to get married? One that—”
“One that has no idea who I am,” Jason hisses. He brandishes his helmet at the girl. “We’ve been together for three years. They have no idea that I’m the Red Hood. It made sense, at first; I can’t go around telling everyone I kiss what my identity is—”
“Right,” she scoffs sarcastically, “like you’re some kind of serial kisser, Todd. Half the city would know your identity if you did that.”
“Shut up,” Jason half-says, half-groans, and by some miracle, she does. “At first, obviously I couldn’t tell them. Then I wanted to keep waiting. I wanted to know that they were, you know, the one and everything.”
Spoiler fake-gags. Jason ignores her.
“And after that it was just too late. I waited too long. I can’t marry them unless they know about the mask, but who would agree to marry someone that’s been lying to them for three years? The entire time they’ve known me?”
“Huh,” says Spoiler.
‘Huh’ indeed.
“So I ran,” Jason says. “I don’t even know if I said anything. The next thing I knew, I was in the street with a pack of cigs and a lighter in my pocket. I came up here to smoke a couple before going back and ending things.”
“You—wait, ‘ending things?’” Spoiler’s head whips around, the white lenses of her domino widening. “What are you talking about?”
“I can’t lie to them,” says Jason. “When I go back, I’ll tell them the truth. And they’ll break up with me for lying for years. I was just trying to put it off.”
The worst thing was, he wasn’t even trying to lie for most of it. You took his excuses easily, believed him about a boxing gym membership to explain away the bruises, and never uttered a complaint about the odd hours he worked. Every time he was late to a date or canceled, you understood. Every time he forgot something important, odds were that you’d forgotten, too, without him to remind you.
All things considered, Jason might have found the single least curious person in all of Gotham, if you hadn’t figured it out after three years. But he’d gotten so comfortable that he’d forgotten that it was a secret, really. It had all rushed back in when he heard your words like a smack to the face, and he’d panicked.
“You don’t know that,” Spoiler says softly.
“Could you forgive someone for something like this?”
She stays silent, and that’s answer enough.
Jason huffs. “Yeah, that’s what I thought.” He reaches into his pocket, pulls out the pack of cigarettes and lighter, and considers them. Then he sighs and drops both on the ground. “Might as well get this over with.”
The cold Gotham air whips away the reek of smoke by the time he’s back at your apartment. Jason looks at the door like a condemned man looks at the gallows. He could sneak in through the window like he usually does, but he selfishly wants you to open the door for him. Show that he’s welcome now, even though he won’t be for long.
Seconds drag on like torturous minutes until he hears the familiar click of the lock. The door inches open with a screech.
Jason’s mouth goes dry at the sight of your wide eyes. “Hey, darling.”
Wordlessly, you open the door further and step aside to let him in.
Funny how a place he’s practically lived in can feel so unfamiliar. Jason shifts between feet as you re-lock your door.
The moment you turn around, he blurts out, “I’m sorry.”
You say the same thing.
“What?” Jason asks.
“You don’t need to apologize,” you say.
“No, I was an ass,” he insists. “I shouldn’t have left.”
“I didn’t mean to push you. I just saw you looking at rings, and we’ve talked about it, but still, marriage is a big step, so I wanted to be prepared,” you ramble. “I mean, we said that we could get married, but we never discussed when, or when the proposal would be—”
“Honey!”
You fall silent.
“Just wait,” Jason begs. He can’t stand any more of your endless understanding. You’ve only ever understood him, no matter what, and he’s going to miss it so much. He’s going to miss you so much. “Wait one second.” He retreats to the bedroom and returns a moment later with something clutched behind his back. Your eyes dart to the awkward way he’s contorted his arm.
Your face goes blank when he pulls out the spare helmet he keeps below your bed. He’d only used a domino when out with Spoiler, but that wouldn’t do for the grand reveal.
“I’m the Red Hood,” he says in a rush, then braces for your judgment.
You don’t react except to say, “Jason.”
He doesn’t understand. You’re not scared of the killer in your apartment. You’re not furious at the man that’s lied to you for three years. Obviously you don’t understand what he’s saying. “Honey, I’m the Red Hood. The vigilante.”
“Jay—”
You’re still just standing with no reaction. Jason holds the mask up so you’re making eye contact with it.
You push it out of the way and cradle his face with both your hands. “Jason Peter Todd, look at me,” you command.
Jason holds your gaze. It’s the last time he’ll ever be so close to you, and he never wants to forget what your presence feels like.
“Jay, I’ve known basically the whole time.”
What.
Jason blinks.
“What?”
“I already knew.”
“Honey, I don’t think you understand what I’m saying. I’m the—”
“Red Hood, yes, I know.” You muster up a tremulous smile. “And Bruce is Batman. Dick is Nightwing. Steph is Spoiler, Damian is Robin, Tim is—”
“Oh my God, you knew? How did you know?”
“Jason. My love. My darling. My honey bunchkin.” You give him a mildly scolding look. “I’m not an idiot.”
Jason’s ears heat. “And you’re not… mad?”
“That you’re the Red Hood?” You cock your head. “Of course not. I worry about you, of course. But you have to do it. I know that. Or am I mad that you tried to keep it a secret for three years?” You press your lips together to hide a growing smile. “No. I’m not mad about that either. You can’t exactly go around telling your secret identity to everyone you kiss. It’s just something I had to figure out on my own.”
“You knew,” Jason marvels. “You knew this whole time.”
“Most of the whole time,” you say. “But yes.”
“Oh my God.” Jason’s moving before he can stop himself, and he wraps you up in his arms and spins you around. “I thought you would hate me,” he confesses, still clutching you like his life depends on it. “When I finally told you.”
A soft hand runs through his hair. “Is that why you ran?” you ask softly.
“Yes. I’m so sorry, honey, I just—”
“I get it,” you interrupt.
“You were scared.”
A thought occurs to Jason with such clarity he nearly drops you. “Wait, so you were going to marry me even after you knew about the mask?”
“Of course,” you say. “I love you, Jay. Mask and all.”
“I don’t have a ring.”
“I don’t need one. Don’t you get it? I only need you.”
“I only need you, too.”
“Good.”
“Good,” Jason agrees, and he probably looks like a fool with his wide grin, but you can’t stop smiling either. He dips his head, and you rise up to press your lips to his, even though with both your grins you end up clicking teeth.
“Good,” you repeat.
“Good,” Jason says, just for good measure, and this time he makes sure the kiss is better. Lightning shoots up his spine and he pulls back to ask, “Wait, are we engaged now?”
“Um… yes?”
“That’s awesome.”
Your smile is so wide that your eyes nearly close. Jason’s pretty sure he looks the same as he sweeps you up and spins you around. You fit perfectly into his arms. He’s never going to let you go.
“My fianceé,” he says fondly. “I’m never going to get tired of saying that.”
“I’m marrying you,” you marvel, sweeping your thumb over his mouth. “I have the prettiest husband-to-be in the whole world.”
“I love you,” Jason confesses. “So much.”
“I love you, too.”
Seconds before your mouths meet for another kiss, Jason’s phone buzzes. On the off-chance it’s an important alert, he pulls it out, but it’s just Spoiler asking for an update.
Jason stows the device. “I have an idea.”
“Yeah?”
“I think I know how to make the sopapillas the right way.”
“Oh? And how’s that?”
It turns out that Jason’s right.
Making them with your help turns out to be what was missing the whole time.

dbf neighbor! joel miller x f!reader. one shot.

main masterlist | ao3 | kofi
summary: your dad's friend is tasked with looking after you while he's out of town. he ends up finding you somewhere you absolutely shouldn't be. blackmail ensues. 8.3k words.
for @iamasaddie's writing challenge! my genre was dark and the prompt was "please don't tell my dad!" thanks for the amazing challenge! 💌
warnings: 18+ MDNI! dark themes, joel is pervy and sleazy, age gap (reader is under drinking age but an adult so 18-20, joel's age unmentioned but he calls himself an old man and he's 50+ in my head), consensual but there are elements of coercion and blackmail so... (it's dark! okay!), unprotected piv, lap sitting, lap dance, thigh/crotch riding, orgasm denial, pussy pronouns, dirty diiiirty talk, cumshot?, reader has hair that can be pulled and wears lingerie but otherwise is undescribed.
a/n: this is less edited than my usual work but i hope i did it justice! it was very fun and silly to come up with this idea and i ended up loooving how crazy it got!
Keep an eye on her while we’re gone, eh?
The words from your father ring through Joel’s ears when he hears the start of an engine from where he sits in his living room, his view on the plush couch offering a perfect view through the large picture window on the front of the house. Right to where you live with your dad, where he can see the lights of your car come on. Bingo. He’s got you now.
Obsession felt like a strong word, but Joel could describe it no other way as soon as you’d moved in across the street - your dad was a longtime friend and neighbor, talk of his little girl rampant for years before he’d had the chance to meet you. You were going to be going to college nearby, so you moved from where you lived with your mom in California down to your father in Texas, right across the street from where he’d had the pleasure of laying eyes on you for the first time.
Young. Supple. Beautiful. And so damn shy.
He hated just how much it turned him on when your timid eyes would find his. The pervy old man who couldn’t keep his eyes off a young girl - what a god damned cliche he’d become. He kept tabs on you, at first not really realizing he was doing it, eyes peering out the windows to catch you on your way out the door or coming home soon escalated to trying to see into your bedroom window at the front of the house. His time with your father mysteriously seemed to double, then triple, any chance he could to get close to you, see you in your natural habitat, hoping to learn more about this special girl that had captured so much of his attention.
You dressed modestly, too - far too modestly for his liking - he knew your father was a strict man, and assumed just as much about your mother from the way your dad talked about his ex-wife. He never got to see enough of you, except for the few times you had on shorter dresses when the summer heat just got to be too much to bear, and those rare occasions burned themselves into his memory, a bank of images to pull from when he took a hand to his cock and thought of you.
He’s up in a flash, smiling softly to himself as he quickly slides on his shoes and swipes his keys from the front table, exiting the house and seeing your car still parked in the drive. You always sit there too long before driving off, probably playing on your phone, texting your friends, whatever the hell young girls like you do. All Joel knows is he’s grateful it gives him enough time to sneak to his truck before you can get too far, waiting until you pull out and start down the street before starting his own car.
Joel checks the time as he starts down his driveway and sees it’s well after 9:00 pm. Where the hell could you be going, you naughty thing? Your dad has a strict curfew for you, he knows, and if he’s tasked with keeping an eye on you, he might as well do it right.
So he follows you. You get on the highway, heading towards downtown, and Joel’s eyebrows raise as he turns up his music, cruising along behind you, so unaware as he sees the outline of your own head bopping along to your music when he can get a clear enough view.
When you finally park, the city streets bustling with people out late on a Friday night around you, Joel sits in his truck, eyes peeled as he watches you round a building, disappearing. Oasis, the glowing sign on the front says. It looks a bit seedy, this area of town, a bouncer on the outside that you’d given a curt wave to sending Joel’s expression into pure shock before a determined smirk crosses his lips.
It turns out it’s not as exclusive as having a bouncer would make it seem. Joel waits in line with the others, feeling a bit out of place but his appetite to bust you outweighs all of it. Not more than ten minutes later he’s inside, the dark hallway opening up to a massive room laid out in front of him. It’s busy - bodies everywhere, the smell of sweat, alcohol, and arousal permeating everything and Joel blinks to adjust his eyes to the dim mood lighting. A dance floor takes up most of the middle, crowded to the max as music bumps through the speakers, and two bars flank either side, fully packed as well. There are lounges everywhere - cushy leather couches with tables, and as Joel’s vision comes in in full, he sees more private spots along the edges of the room on a slightly elevated area, curtains closing them in.
Too busy taking everything in, he doesn’t even notice the most important detail right away - the waitresses. More specifically, the way they’re all dressed. Gorgeous bodies of all shapes and sizes, parading around in what is essentially lingerie - a lacy black bra paired with a matching set of panties, sheer black stockings and a garter trailing down their legs all the way to the heels that adorn their feet. Joel feels a twinge inside his belly, pulling low and taut when he spots one of the waitresses with thick thighs and a plush stomach grinding on a woman sitting on one of the couches, the receiver throwing her head back in teasing, pleased laughter before taking a long sip of her drink. He continues scanning the room, seeing another man closer to his age being straddled by a different waitress with one of the nicest pairs of tits Joel has ever seen in that same uniform, her hips swaying and grinding so close to his crotch as she gives him a lapdance.
Fuck.
His mind spins faster, blood going hot as it runs through his veins, his cock twitching under the denim of his jeans. It’s been too long - all the pining, the built up frustration, and he’s needy. He finds it hard to believe you’d just be out partying at a place like this, certainly not the neighborly girl he knows. Bringing over leftovers you’d cooked for you and your dad, always with a little treat on the side and a soft smile, your frilly socks and white tennis shoes, collars that never revealed much past the very top of your gorgeous tits. But it still made him fucking crazy, all of it. He wanted to be the one to ruin it, to see who you really are underneath all of the fluff and sweetness. Because at the end of the day, he knows he wasn’t imagining that glint in your eye that told him you had more to offer.
Joel shakes the distractions and his dirty, racing thoughts, eyes scanning the room for you, remembering his mission. He is about to internally ask himself the question when your appearance answers everything he needs to know. Slack jawed, he looks on as you step out from behind one of the bars, tossing a smile over your shoulder at one of the other workers as you start to move carrying a tray full of drinks.
When you emerge in full, strutting your way across the room, you’re wearing it. The outfit. The skimpy bra and panties to match all of the other servers. Your coworkers. Oh, he’s so thoroughly fucked right now, he thinks in a rising panic. But then again, so are you.
“Thank god you’re here! You’re seriously such a life saver,” Kristina says breathlessly as you breeze into the locker room. She’s one of the supervisors here at Oasis, the club you’ve been working at since the beginning of the summer. Sure, you were underage to serve alcohol, but the owners of this club seemed willing to turn a blind eye to a lot of things to gain good talent. Good pay, direct cash, and an insane amount in tips. Enough to pay your way through college, you hoped. Beyond all of that, once you’d gotten into the swing of things you found that you liked it, too. The power you felt in these heels, the way eyes followed you everywhere, you’d never felt so desired, so free or sexually open in your life. Although the only time you’d actually had sex was with your one ex-boyfriend, and it never felt like you do here - sexy, with raw desire filling the air, something so tangible you feel you can reach out and touch it sometimes.
You pull your shirt over your head, unclasping your regular bra and swapping it for the black, lacy one that lives inside your locker. Kristina stands nearby, unfazed by your bare chest as she thanks you. She’d called you about forty five minutes ago, begging for you to come in on your night off when another server, Rochelle, got sick right as things started to pick up. Friday night tips hadn’t sounded so bad when you had no plans apart from watching TV in your dad’s empty house, so it felt like a win.
“No problem,” you say, smiling at her. “Happy to help.”
“You’ve got section five tonight - Justin has Laura covering right now, just switch out when you’re ready, kay?”
You confirm, quickly finishing up your swap into your uniform, admiring yourself in the mirror with a soft smile, still getting used to the look of lingerie on you. You’d have been stupid to keep something like this in the house with either of your parents, not worth the risk if they found out about it.
The noise of the club blares, making you wince for a quick moment as you step out from the calmness of the locker room to the deafening noise beyond and get your bearings behind the bar. It really is busy, but all you can see is money when you glance around, admiring how full the place is tonight.
You’re stopped in the middle of your flow after swinging by the bar to pick up drinks for one of your tables. It’s an extra flirtatious group of men who are practically ready to feast on you, but for all the poorly managed things about this club, they at least have a strict no touching rule with the staff that is enforced by any number of the security guards around. So you get to have your fun, keep your distance, and hope they pay extra for a lapdance from you and tip you well for it.
“You’ve got a, uh, private request,” Justin says, speaking quietly but leaning close to your ear so you can hear him. You pull back, a look of surprise on your face, a questioning glance that he confirms with a nod. “We’ll cover your tables. Room seven.”
Your mind spins faster as you walk towards the room. The rooms aren’t fully private, just a halfway curtain that gives the impression you’re more alone than you are. That luxury doesn’t come cheap, so whoever booked this room and asked for you must mean business. In fact, management hasn’t even put you on serving private rooms regularly yet, reserving that right to the more tenured employees until you work your way up the ladder. You smile, wondering who it could even be that specifically requested you - a regular that loved the banter you’d offered? A new customer who was drawn to you from across the room? It makes your heart skip a little, anticipation and a hint of nervousness coursing through you as you reach the curtain, stepping beyond to see your mystery customer.
Holy shit.
The sultry smile you’d plastered on fades right off your face, replaced with a deep set frown, your mouth open but unable to speak. Your stomach is rapidly dropping to depths it's never known before as your face starts to burn hot, cheeks feeling like they’re on fire. Your arms fly up to your chest, crossing them over as some kind of futile cover of yourself, but his eyes are trained there unashamedly, seeing the way your arms have really just accentuated your cleavage. He’s spread out on one of the loveseats, completely alone, knees wide apart, lap open and desperately inviting when it absolutely should not be.
“M-Mr. Miller?”
Joel was having far too much fun with this. The priceless look on your face that had wiped off the pretty grin you’d had was worth every damn penny he’d spent on this ridiculous room just to get you alone. You think you can cover up, somehow, but it only really offers Joel a better view of your bottom half, the lacy shorts style panties a treat for his weary gaze, the garters sitting against your soft skin one of the most enticing things he’s ever seen. He instantly feels his cock getting hard as his eyes rake up and down your body, settling on where your tits are now pressed together against your crossed arms.
“Mr. Miller?” you stutter out after a long, dense silence between the two of you.
“Don’t cover up on account’a me, sweetheart,” Joel replies cooly, threading his hands together behind his head, looking even more relaxed than when you’d first walked in. Your arms seem to tighten around you, the complete opposite of Joel.
“Wh-what are you -” you start trying to ask, and Joel notices how you suddenly look unbalanced, legs shaking underneath you. You attempt a step forward, bringing yourself further into the room and it gives Joel an even closer look at you, and god damn you’re gorgeous. Your skin looks flawless, so smooth and soft looking - the apex of your thighs coming closer to eye level as you move forward, all adorned by that lace that’s making him wild. He’s never seen anything close to this much of your skin before, and he has half a mind to grab you right here and toss you over his lap, taking everything he wants from you.
“Could ask you the same thing, couldn’t I?” he questions you, enjoying the tease, the way he sees your face screw up a little tighter at the very valid point he was making. You’re caught, and there’s no way around it now, he thinks smugly.
Your face falls, eyes going to the ground and watching your feet shift nervously in your heels. “I-I get it. You made your point. I’ll go home, okay? I know I shouldn’t be here -” you stammer out, and the guilty look on your face tells Joel what he’d already suspected - your dad knows absolutely nothing about this job of yours.
“No, you shouldn’t,” Joel says, but he makes no move to get up, keeping a steady, unrelenting gaze on you. When you flick your eyes up to him, he sees they’re watery, and it makes his insides twinge with a strange mixture of regret and pleasure as he sees the tears brimming along the edges of your eyes, the subtle panic he can see growing.
“You’re bein’ very bad, ain’t ya? ” Joel tuts, and you seem to almost flinch at the words from where you awkwardly stand in front of him still, unsure of what to do, where to go. Joel feels that pleasure growing warm in his gut, knowing he has you right where he wants you. “I mean, look at that outfit, sweetheart -” Joel starts with a low whistle, sitting forward slightly so you can see just how much he’s admiring it, his eyes narrowed in inspection, the weathered lines in his face apparent with the way his brows are raised. “Thas’ a far cry from those clothes you wear on my doorstep, play actin’ a good little girl.”
“N-no! I don’t - I didn’t mean - I am good.” You’re more and more visibly flustered, your arms wrapping around yourself as Joel continues to tease you, intent on bringing you down a few more notches.
Joel gives you a condescending glare. “Darlin’, ain’t nothin’ good about this. Lemme tell you what I think…” He leans back again, staring up at you, not once inviting you to sit, and knowing you won’t unless he does - he wants to make you sweat. “You never got to have that rebellious streak w’ both your parents bein’ who they are, did ya? An’ you thought you deserved it, to have a little fun, didn’t you?”
Your lip quivers and you blink back another set of hot, embarrassed tears, eyes trained back on the dark, faux marble floors, refusing to speak.
“Didn’t you?” he asks again with more bite. Fucking brat. Good thing Joel had plenty of tactics up his sleeve to whip a wannabe brat back into a good girl, he thinks with a sly smile to himself.
“Y-yes! Okay? I wanted to do something… for me,” you finally admit, feeling yourself shake a little at his demanding words.
“Now was that so hard?” Joel asks, becoming acutely aware of just how hard he is, almost painfully so now that he’s been teasing you, fantasizing about this moment for far too long. You shake your head, still hung downwards in shame before bringing your eyes back to his. They look soft, youthful and desperate, and Joel has never felt so turned on in his goddamn life, all the power he’s feeling rushing right to his cock.
“J-just… please don’t tell my dad,” you say, almost quiet enough Joel can’t hear it over the distant bump of the music. But he made it out, the words he’d been hoping you’d say, the ones he knew you’d have to utter.
“I won’t,” Joel starts, seeing the relief flood your face, nearly laughing at how quickly you put stock in his words before even hearing what else he has to say. So naive. “But what’s in it for me, hm? Ain’t gonna keep a secret without a little… incentive.” Joel’s hands plant on his thighs, running up the length of them as he watches your emotions shift in real time, your jaw going slack, eyes widening and barely blinking. You just stutter, completely taken aback and Joel had expected as much - you’re too good of a girl to navigate a situation like this. Good thing he already has his next words planned and loaded up to help you along.
“Laps feelin’ mighty empty, y’know…” Joel muses, leaning back and spreading his palms out on the leather couch next to his thighs. You flash your eyes to his legs, then his face again, mouth gaping open, finally realizing just what he’s asking for.
You can’t believe this is happening to you. You should never have taken this job, kept such a big secret from your dad that you knew he’d absolutely kill you for if he found out. You were technically an adult now, but that didn’t mean you could just throw away his rules while you lived at home with him.
And now you were being blackmailed by his friend. His very handsome friend, but you’re trying hard not to think about that right now. There’s no way he’s serious about this, no way he could actually want this from you? The neighbor girl, his friend’s daughter? Mr. Miller had always been kind, just a bit of a grumpy edge to him but he loved to joke around with your dad. You often caught them laughing together, too shy to have inserted yourself enough with someone who made your skin grow hot just from glancing into his dark, chocolate brown eyes. But without that buffer of your dad, here alone in the dim lighting of the club, it was like he’d become another man.
“Y-you want me to…?” you say, blinking hard as you stare at his thick thighs and crotch, all spread wide open. It’s enticing - normally even with an attractive customer you find yourself thinking of it more as work - fun work, but still work. But with Joel… you’d felt heat pooling between your thighs as he observed you this entire conversation, the desire starting to outweigh the embarrassment you were feeling.
“Paid for it, didn’t I?” he remarks practically, a nip of impatience edging his voice as you swallow hard and step forward.
“Y-you don’t have to… we can get a refund if you don’t want me to do it…” you say, trying to remind yourself not to mumble, but your nerves are getting the best of you.
Joel’s head shakes slowly, his hand drifting out smoothly from his body towards you, tenderly locking on to where your wrist dangles at your side and pulls you closer. Closer. Closer, until he’s pulling you down so that you have to bend down, coming face to face with him. Your cheeks burn, breathing heavy and stunted as the tension in the air thickens, his lips so close to yours. You can’t help but glance at them, the inviting curve of his lips drawing you in, but Joel’s eyes are elsewhere, peering down right between your bodies where your tits are on such display for him, spilling out of the bra at this angle.
“Like I said,” he coos softly, eyes obviously drifting up towards your face, “I need a little incentive to not spill your dirty little secret, darlin’.” A smirk grows on his face before he lets go of your wrist, and you stumble backwards a little.
“Y-you -” you stutter again, trying to counter him, but you come up short. “O-okay…” you mutter with a sigh, taking a deep breath before you hesitantly turn around, facing your back to him.
Joel tuts immediately at your lack of enthusiasm. “None of that, gimme the full show, sweetheart, or the deal’s off.”
You huff quietly, taking a few steps away from Joel, readying yourself. He can see the change in your demeanor already, the more confident strides you take before turning around, facing him again. Then you begin your routine, practiced and ready, pacing towards him with a feline, graceful energy, heels clicking on the floor as you slip one leg in front of the other, heading towards him. You almost hesitate, pushing yourself through the doubt as your hand reaches out, grazing along his shoulder, moving inward towards his collarbone.
Your fingers drag along his chest, where one button of his flannel shirt is open, wishing you could delve your whole hand inside and feel the more than likely gorgeous planes of his chest. Christ, he’s so meaty, so thick everywhere you touch.
A soft rumble escapes his chest before you turn around, grinding your ass downwards and then back up, teasing him by getting a little lower each time. But it’s not enough, he knows you’re holding back, your movements a little stilted and awkward. His cell phone is out of his pocket before he can think much more about it, snapping a photo of the way your ass is grinding down towards him, just enough of your side profile in the photo that it’s undeniably you.
“Come on, know you can do better’n that.” Joel clicks his tongue, making you freeze, hovering awkwardly above him. “Do this for a livin’ lord knows how many nights a week. If you ain’t gonna give me what I paid my hard earned money for I can call your daddy right now… maybe jus’ text him this picture. What d’you think about that?” Joel asks, holding his cell phone forward and into your eyesight. You gasp, hands grabbing for it just as he snatches it away.
“D-delete that! Please!” you cry out, feeling panic squeeze at your chest. Fuckfuckfuck you are so thoroughly fucked right now if Joel has photo evidence.
Joel smiles down at his phone, peering at the image one last time before pocketing it. “No can do, sweetheart. Now, I don’t really wanna have to ask again, yeah?”
You only gape at him for a moment longer before snapping your mouth shut and positioning yourself above his lap again. “F-fine. Jesus,” you mutter angrily, finding that the irritation you’re feeling is starting to spur you on as you begin to move again, feeling yourself turned on by Joel’s musk in your space, the heat of his body radiating towards yours in this close proximity. Not to mention you can sense just how turned on he is, how much this is affecting him as you move with more conviction, hips delicately swinging in front of him. If he wants a show, you’ll give him your best yet, you think with determination.
“F-fuck… attagirl,” Joel lets slip when you brush his crotch with your ass. He’s barely holding it together with your curves swaying tantalizingly in front of him, something even his wildest dreams likely couldn’t have conjured up. He’d never think he’d see you like this - so sensual, so fucking gorgeously in control of your sexual aura that it could make a man lose control. Your customers were beyond lucky, he thinks with a pang of jealousy shooting through him, making his blood boil hotter, his possessive side come out. While he’d been at home pining over you, thinking about you with a hand stroking his own cock, you’d been here - rubbing your pretty ass on all those lucky fucks and their undeserving crotches.
The thought makes him insane, the image of you doing this to any other man, so when you lean back against him, pressing your back to his chest, your ass just beginning to grind on his jeans, his hands go to your hips instinctively trying to bring you down onto him, to claim you. You slow your movements to a stop, leaning your head back towards his ear so that you’re almost entirely pressed against him now.
“Not s-supposed to touch,” you say, you voice the only thing giving away just how nervous you still are.
“Don’t fuckin’ care, if I’m honest,” Joel huffs back quietly, his voice husky and breathless. You bite back a moan as his rough hands wrap around each side of your waist tightly and help guide you that last inch downwards, sending your ass fully rolling over his crotch.
“H-holy shit…” you whimper when you feel the rough denim brush along the outside of your panties. You feel a flush run through you, your skin burning hot as you realize you won’t be able to hide how wet you’ve gotten for very long. It began slowly, just with his brooding, questioning eyes on you, now reaching a fever pitch as you’re in his space and feeling the prominent bulge in his pants.
It’s been far too long since you were satisfied. Truly satisfied.
Your breath catches as Joel fingers wiggle inward a little after hearing how much you’re getting into it, even closer to the waistband of your panties, the two of you facilitating the grinding motion together as you bear down a little more on his lap. Joel lets out a pleased hum, still somehow giving you the sense that he’s the one holding back now. His hands still have an air of respect to them, like they’re vibrating with the need to wrap completely around you and pull you to him, to roam your skin and grab at all the forbidden parts of you.
When the thought flashes across your mind, you realize you want him to.
“T-touch me…” you whisper, immediately clamping your betraying mouth shut as the words float out into the air. You hold your breath, waiting to see if Joel heard you.
“What’s that, gorgeous? Couldn’t quite hear you,” Joel says, his tone a low, mocking sound that tells you he’s baiting you, that he wants to play with his food before eating it. Your eyes narrow before they shut completely, rolling back when he forces your ass to move along his bulge again.
“F-fu- touch me,” you spit out a bit louder. “Please.”
“You poor thing,” you hear him tut from behind you, forcing your hips upwards and away before grasping onto your hands, turning you around to face him. “Can’t get us in trouble now, can we?” he asks tauntingly, his eyes giving you a heated staredown as they widen, almost looking sympathetic if there wasn’t so much of an appetite behind them.
You whimper, visibly whining as your face screws up, squeezing his hands with yours. Joel tugs, so lightly that you’d almost think it was your own idea as you start to come back down towards him, pressing the warmth between your legs against his thigh. You sigh shakily, eyes fluttering shut as you slowly swing one leg over top of his and bear down a little more, straddling his thigh.
“We w-won’t… we won’t…” you breathe out, knowing it’s not the complete truth, but room seven is especially tucked back, hardly getting any traffic. In fact, it was known for bending the rules a bit.
“She’s so needy, huh? You all wet for me, sweetheart, that it? She need a little relief?” Joel taunts, and when you open your eyes to meet his gaze, he’s practically pouting. Your cheeks burn at how desperate he’s making you sound, but your hips twitch of their own accord, sending a zing of pleasure up your spine and you whimper quietly again, giving yourself away even further.
“Y-yes, Mr. Miller…”
“Keep on doin’ your little dance, pretty girl, jus’ right there,” Joel urges you, a hand finding the small of your back, the other locked onto your hip as you start to rock forward, then back again. Relief instantly floods you as your clit brushes against the ripples in the hard denim, making you move harder against him, mouth popped open in fresh ecstasy.
“Close that mouth before I shove somethin’ in it, you fuckin’ tease,” Joel grits out, his eyes burning wildly, finally giving you a glimpse at how affected he is as he keeps his stare on your face, starting to sheen with sweat. Your mouth snaps shut, a stifled moan pulling from your throat and behind your closed lips, threatening to burst out of you.
“This ain’t against the rules? Havin’ a pretty girl ride my thigh?” he asks in cruel teasing, flickering eyes glancing down to where your hips are shamelessly rocking on him.
“I- I don’t - know-“ you choke out, your legs starting to tremble as the pleasure slowly, steadily builds deep inside of you. “I d-don’t care…”
“Riiight, she’s on her rebellious streak now, ain’t she?” Joel mutters facetiously, smiling a devious grin as he watches your face screw up in concentration. You truly don’t care, you can’t care anymore when whatever the hell is going on feels so good. Damn this job, damn Joel’s games, you’re going to get what you need out of this right now, too. Your head is thrown back as your whines and moans escalate, showing Joel just how close you’re getting.
“That’s it, god you’re beggin’ for it, ain’t you? So dirty…” Joel’s hands grip tighter along your hips, starting to drag you inwards, towards his aching, clothed bulge. “Beggin’ for your daddy’s friend's cock while you make a mess all over his thigh, aren’t you? Who would’ve thought a good girl like you’d be wantin’ to get fucked by an old man?”
His words make you clench around nothing, the harsh tone making your insides twist in pleasure as you roll your hips a little faster. “F-fuck… I - I need to - Mr. Miller -” you plead aimlessly, feeling your core tightening, the obscene wetness driving you to full on madness as your pussy aches, cries out for Joel.
Your leg is being dragged over top of him, forcing you to fully straddle his lap, thighs stretched wide and burning at how wide you’re going to accommodate his huge frame. You’re in disbelief at the rough, needy noise Joel makes as soon as your cunt is pulled down onto him, Joel’s hands forcing your hips to start thrusting against him. You nearly lose your balance, wrapping your arms around his neck to hang on as he looks at you with determination. Hands planted firmly on your ass, squeezing hard as he relishes in the feel of finally having you like this, feeling your warm heat seeping through his denim right to where he’s desperate to have you most.
“Joel,” he corrects in his haze, stunting your hips to press down hard on his cock, sending a gasp flying out of your mouth at the sheer size of what’s to come. Your mouth is practically watering, so close to what your body craves now, what it needs. When your fingers graze the button of his jeans, he stiffens, seeming to snap out his lustful fog as he swats your hand away.
“Fuck… later,” Joel says suddenly, using every bit of self restraint to push you back, moving your heat from his bulge, the instantaneous lack of you devastating him to the core.
Your brows quickly knit in confusion at the sudden change in course. “W-why…?” you whisper breathlessly, bringing your lips near his neck, kissing the rough skin, working your way up to his patchy, gray flecked beard. His hand is at the back of your head, yanking you backwards by the hair, tearing your lips off of him in a brutal rush. He holds you there, the pull on your scalp starting to prickle harder as you sit staring at him like a tamed animal being held up by its scruff.
“Can’t fuck you properly in here. Too many fuckin’… people. Prying eyes wantin’ to see what all the fuss is about.”
“I-I can be quiet,” you retort, hating just how much it sounds like begging but the hold he has on you right now is so intense, so inexplicable that you’d say anything, you think.
Joel huffs, a tiny, incredulous snort coming out of his nose. “No, you can’t. Not if I’m doin’ what I plan on doin’ to you. We can’t have anyone come snoopin’, can we?”
You shake your head, suddenly wondering if he’s about to drag you out of here, take you home to his bed, or your bed, you think with a shudder. You feel a pull inside your belly, thinking you just might let him if you don’t get your head back on straight soon.
“An’ you still gotta work the rest of your shift, make your money, don’t you babydoll?” Joel says with a smirk growing, making your face fall completely into a deep frown. “Call it a little punishment for bein’ such a bad, naughty girl, yeah? Then you can finish up givin’ me my piece of the pie.”
You find yourself gaping at him for the umpteenth time tonight in disbelief. He wasn’t going to just leave you… like this? Was he? You can feel your clit pulsing against your panties, your body tense and wound up, on the precipice of coming so hard you saw stars only a few moments ago.
“Up, now,” Joel says, shifting his legs so that you’re forced to move, scrambling up onto your shaky legs, feeling like a newborn fawn getting your footing again.
“W-wait… I already - didn’t I… give you what you want?” you ask, suddenly feeling yourself snapping out of the heady, lust filled haze Joel had you in. This was insane, right? You can’t fuck him, you shouldn’t. It wasn’t right for either of you, and you’d been crazy to have just been this close to letting him stuff you full.
Joel’s head tilts, watching your slightly messy hair and smudged makeup for a few beats with a discerning gaze. “Nah, darlin’, you just gave me what I paid for. This is what I want.”
Your heart and stomach sink to new depths. “N-no. Joel! You said… if I gave you the lap dance you wouldn’t tell my dad. And I gave you a hell of a lot more than that -” Joel stands, interrupting you, coming forward and crowding your space, his hulking mass like a tower next to you, shadowing you with his commanding energy.
“Watch your mouth,” he snips, a hand gripping onto your wrist. “I’m the one callin’ the shots here, an’ I changed my mind once I saw just how pretty that sweet little pussy of yours can be. So here’s what’s gonna happen…” Joel’s fingers come up to ghost along your cheek, trailing down your neck, along the swells of your breasts as he speaks. You can’t help but shudder at the attention, how good it feels on your sensitive, needy skin.
“You go on out there, tell ‘em what a great job you did in here, work the rest of your shift like a good girl, thinkin’ about just how fuckin’ wet you got these pretty panties, how bad she needs a little help from Mr. Miller.”
Your breath is caught in your throat at his words, hitching further as his touch skates further down, sending your hips twitching forward.
“An’ I’ll be waitin’ for you after, darlin’, for what I’m owed.”
Your heart pounds as you slip out the side door and into the alleyway, pausing to let the cool night air wash over you as you gather your thoughts. Your mind is at war with itself, one half of you knowing this is a terrible idea, setting you up for complete disaster in the future. How could you ever face Joel again if you two took it that far? Then again, you weren’t sure how you’d be able to face him in the daylight already, anyways, without your cheeks burning so hot they caught fire. The other half of you was winning, had been winning as you worked the rest of your shift in a complete daze, hardly recognizing your own movements as your body burned hot and needy, mind completely scrambled by the conundrum of your father’s closest friend coming onto you and more.
You spent the rest of your shift coming to terms with the fact that you do want to fuck him. So badly. Even if it’s wrong, a complete mistake in every single way. You also know your mind isn’t to be trusted right now, running on pure horniness and desperation, never having been fucked in the way you know Joel could. His experience, his power, the way his lustful eyes had drank you in like the sweetest balm - it was all too hard to turn down. You turn, looking the opposite way down the alleyway from your car, starting to think you might be able to sneak around the block and get in your car and drive off without him noticing, wondering exactly where he’s waiting for you. You don’t see a soul, hear anyone else in this alley apart from the distant music from inside and chatter from along the main street which is a far cry from where the employee exit to Oasis dropped you.
You take the risk, heart thrumming wildly as you start down the alley, saying a silent apology to Joel in your head, and then yourself for letting this secret come out, knowing Joel was definitely not bluffing if you didn’t follow through on your end of the deal. Better to face punishment from your father than have to deal with the consequences of fucking his best friend and facing the feelings that would come after. You’re only halfway down the alleyway before a warm, rough hand is slapped against your mouth and an arm is draped around your middle and tugging you backwards. A wall of muscle meets you and you whimper loudly behind the hand, starting to yell.
“Shh, shh, no screamin’,” the voice coos, distinctly recognizable. Shit.
“Tryna sneak off on me, huh, pretty girl?” Joel says next to your ear, his neck craning down to breathe you in, groaning. It’s so feminine, so light and soft, the faded scent of your perfume and body wash makes him instantly mad with need for you. His hand slips down, giving your lips some room to answer now that you’ve stopped fighting him, leaning back into his hold a little more.
“N-no,” you choke out, lying. “S-swear.”
“Didn’t change your mind? Want me to send those pretty pictures to your daddy?” Joel coos, starting to walk you towards the brick wall of the building, pushing your body forwards until you’re pressed against the cool, scratchy surface. You hold back a moan when his body leans into you fully, completely dominating you as you’re at his mercy against the wall.
“I j-just d-don’t think we should -” you utter half heartedly, feeling heat rush to your cheeks, fearing what might come next after your suggestion.
“Why’s that?” he asks, dripping with condescension. “Seemed you couldn’t wait to get stuffed full of me not too long ago, yeah?”
“I-it’ll be weird after, w-won’t it? How can we… be around my dad? How can you?” You finally find your voice, your bravery, to ask him the question you’d been thinking the entire night.
A small chuckle blows past the side of your head from where Joel’s mouth sits against your head. “Think we both learned tonight I’m willin’ to keep a secret,” he says, his voice getting more harsh, a needy coarseness to it that sends goosebumps along your skin. Joel feels a frenzy overcoming him when he notices your thighs clenching, how shallow and wanting your breaths are becoming now. He can’t wait much longer… can’t stand the torture he’s endured at your sweet teasing for a second longer.
“I-I want it…” you finally say in a harsh whisper, your resolve faded within seconds. Your ass ruts back into his hardness, an ache that hadn’t subsided in the least in the last hours as he waited for you. Patiently. Like he had already been all of these months.
“You know I’m gonna ruin anyone else f’you, darlin’, don’t you?” he asks as his lips trace along your shoulder, now clad in a tank top that you’d changed back into. The bits of bare skin he touches taste like heaven, feel almost unbearably soft and inviting against his plush lips. He couldn’t possibly deserve any of this, but he couldn’t help but take it, anyhow. He could pay for his sins later. Your neck is next on his list, another supple spot of heaven to taste as he mutters the words again. “Don’t you?”
You just nod at first, dumbstruck by the feel of his lips, turning your head to try to meet them. “Yes,” you tell him softly, knowing it’s the truth, and there isn’t a turning back from this moment anymore. His lips are suddenly all there is, devouring your own whole as he takes in bounds, your tongues and teeth and mouths in a desperate clash, panting into one another as Joel starts to tug at your jeans, fingers flying desperately to tear them down.
You let him.
The second he’s pushing into you, you see bright white flash across your vision - that pulse of pain shooting through the very fabric of your being, your nerves lit up and screaming out from deep inside of you. Joel’s groan is barely audible through the ringing in your ears as he doesn’t stop, finding solace in your tight heat when he pushes himself into you in full. It’s heaven incarnate, you are heaven incarnate, he thinks, practically panting out the words as he feels your wet tightness pulling him in, walls pulsing as you adjust to the sheer volume that is Joel. Your cheek is crushed against the brick, mouth propped open in shock, the rough scrape on your face the only thing keeping you grounded as you whine out a long, wanton sound, something completely foreign to you.
“So… fuckin’... dumb on this cock,” Joel utters as he starts to move, a slow drag of his cock out and back in before he makes good on his promise to ruin anyone else for you, to never have a comparison to the blinding pleasure you feel rocking your entire universe as he quickly ruts into you. “Fuckin’ heaven.”
“J- fuck -” you stutter out, completely speechless. When one arm wraps around you, finding your clit, needy and puffy from hours of torturous edging, everything else melts away. The dark alley, the fact that you could be seen at any moment, the way you weren’t even sure you trusted Joel to keep your secret despite you following through on your end - none of it fucking mattered anymore.
“W-wanted this so bad, y’don’t know what you do to a man, sweetheart… Jesus fuck,” Joel says, uncharacteristically soft as his hips roll, sending your own bouncing onto his hurried fingers swirling along your clit. Desperation clings to the both of you now, hot and heavy air, hurried movements like this could be torn away from the two of you any second.
“Joel… I’m fu- I’m close, so close, please…” you rush out, feeling a pull of warmth at your center, his cock brushing along just the right spot to send you to that edge. You start to moan louder, the noise echoing in the open space around the two of you, your hand hurriedly slapping over your mouth to muffle it as the high starts to rock through you. His name screams from behind your hand, the sound still clear enough to send Joel to a state of crazed fervor, thrusting into you at an impossible pace, sending you bouncing harder against the wall. You twitch and shake, your eyes rolling back as you come harder than you have in months, maybe ever. Just like he’d promised, the absolute bastard.
“Fuckin’ creamin’ on this cock, shit, you’re so fuckin’ wet,” Joel marvels breathlessly as the obscene squelching of your bodies meeting only gets louder. “Oh, good girl, such a pretty, messy slut for a dirty old man, aren’t you?”
“G-god, yes, fuck… I am…” you whimper out with flustered nods, completely spent as you come down from your high, letting Joel use your cunt to chase his own now. You twitch at the overstimulation, your body still tingling pleasantly as he turns you into his own personal fuck toy, your body his for the taking.
“Pretty as a picture, all fucked out like this,” he says slyly one hand planted on the wall next to you now, the other playing lazily with your aching clit. “Never gonna be able to give me up now, are you?”
You shake your head, lost in the moment with your answers as you feel another orgasm washing over you, less intense but still pleasant waves of pleasure rolling through while you gasp for breath, completely full of Joel each time he thrusts heartily into you, stealing away your air.
“Please… c-can’t…” you mumble through your climax, hardly able to take the stimulation anymore but knowing the sick little part of your brain is happy to do it for him, let him use you until he’s completely spent himself.
You don’t have to wait much longer for your wish, hearing Joel grunting, almost whimpering when he’s suddenly gone from you with a wet, slick pop, leaving you cavernous empty. He barely makes it out of you before his hand grips his cock, twitching in his palm as he comes towards the ground right in between your legs, ropes of cum coating your pulled down jeans and underwear, the brick wall, the pavement below you. His forehead is pressed to your back, sticky and hot as he catches his breath for a silent beat.
You’ve never felt anything like this, this satisfaction, this pure unadulterated filthiness and pleasure. The addiction already grips you, your poor, sore cunt already anticipating the next time he could ruin you.
But then it hits you like a train, pulling you out of your reverent little bubble - this can’t happen again. It’s out of your system, out of his, and now you both have a secret to keep. You start to pull your pants up, the movement seeming to bring Joel to his senses, reaching down along with you.
“Sh-shit, here, let me,” he says in a rasp, tugging your jeans up, the immediate feeling of wetness sticking to your body and making you cringe. “Little souvenir for ya,” he comments cockily, knowing his cum is now sticking to your skin, knowing that thought will sustain him for at least the next few hours. But that’s wishful thinking, he realizes, knowing that he could find himself buried in you the entire night, over and over again, considering hauling you away to do just that when you interrupt his thinking.
“I- I’m sorry…” you mutter, not even fully sure of why you even say it. For some reason, you are sorry that you put the two of you in this position, even if it ended in something so incredible that you have a hard time even putting it into words.
Joel spins you to face him, thumbing your chin and pinching it, bringing your face to look him in the eyes. They look a little softer than they had inside the club, more like the neighbor you’ve come to know. So charming and disarming when he wants to be.
“Don’t be,” he says, leaning down to kiss you more gently than he had before, something tender and sweet that you find yourself immediately falling for, body melting into his as you hang your arms around his neck, wondering when along the way you started feeling so comfortable with this.
“Besides,” Joel adds, a devious smirk pulling his lips upwards. “Your daddy ain’t home for a few more days. Think we can find a few more ways to convince me to keep your little secret.”

For @icyfox17 💜
There’s a boy standing in the corner of the station when they arrive. He’s shivering, clutching a soft toy to his chest. Bobby jumps out of the fire engine before they’ve even fully stopped.
“Hey, kid,” he says, approaching the boy slowly. He’s small but not concerningly so. His blood hair is disheveled as it falls into his eyes.
The boy doesn’t look up, Bobby would think he didn’t hear it is weren’t for the slight flinch he made when Bobby started speaking.
“My name’s Robert, but my friends call me Bobby,” he says, kneeling down beside the boy. “What’s your name?”
No answer.
Different approach then.
“I like your deer,” he says looking at the plushie.
“He’s a buck,” the boy whispers, holding the toy closer to himself.
“Oh yeah?” Bobby prompts.
“Yeah, ‘cause he’s a male deer.”
The boy looks up at him with big eyes and Bobby smiles back. “That’s right. You’re very smart, kid. Where’d you learn that?”
“M—my sister told me.”
Sister. That’s a start.
“She sounds like a good sister.”
“The best,” he sniffs.
“What’s your sister’s name?”
“Maddie. M-A-D-D-I-E.” He recites.
Maddie. He can work with that. “What do you say we try find Maddie, hm?”
The boy’s shoulders slump and he curls into himself, shaking his head. “They-they don’t want me,” he hiccups, shakes his head again.
Bobby’s stomach drops. He knows that a kid showing up to the firehouse is not a good sign, still, he’d hoped it was a misunderstanding.
“Why’s that?” He asks gently.
“‘Cause ‘m not ‘nough. She said stay here. ‘Cause I failed.”
“Who said that?”
“Mommy.”
Bobby never could understand how some people can be so cruel to their own children.
The boy shivers again. Both arms dropping to his side. That’s when Bobby notices the small note taped to his shirt. “Look after me.” Shit.
“How about we get you a nice warm cup of hot chocolate? Then one of my friends can look you over and make sure you’re okay. How’s that sound?”
The kid doesn’t speak for a moment but then he nods, holding out his small hand towards Bobby who grasps it in his own. His hand is cold against his and Bobby wants to wrap the kid in a hundred blankets. He’ll get Marshall to find some for them.
“Do I get to know your name now?” He asks again, walking the boy slowly up the stairs towards the kitchen.
“Mm, Evan Buck,” he says, raising his deer towards Bobby.
“Buck, hm, like your toy.”
“Uh huh.”
“Okay, Buck, let’s get that hot chocolate.”

title: entranced.
pairing: katsuki x fem! reader.
through all stages of his life, katsuki was entranced with you.
katsuki was destined for greatness. everyone told him so, it was engrained in his mind from the moment his quirk manifested.
as a kid, he was top of the hill always, king of his crew, every game they'd play would leave him the champion. he was the fastest, the strongest, the coolest.
his ego fluctuated with every new person he'd meet, how he felt none could match up to the god-given power of his, until his last year of junior high you joined his class.
you, who hung around deku, not minding that he was quirkless.
you, who he found so entralling.
you didn't really socialize to the other classmates, so he didn't know what your quirk was..
at least not until the teacher announced you and deku were applying for U-A beside him. he scoffed, "you two? heroes? don't make me laugh, maybe you'll be lucky enough to be assistants at my agency, and that's a huge if, quirkless idiots."
"i'm not quirkless, and midoriya isn't an idiot. so take your foot out of your ass and learn to respect people." you grabbed midoriya's hand and guided him out.
that was the first time you ever spoke to him and he didn't have a rebuttal.
he glared as you two walked out the hallways together, his pack of goons followed him as he walked down the alleyway. they ran away when he got captured by the villain.. but you. you and deku ran against the crowd to go save him. despite how he insulted the two of you.
that was the first time he'd seen your quirk. behind deku who was aimlessly scrapping the gooey flesh of the villain attempting to take him over, you had taken to making magma rock, that turned to lava upon contact, and burned the flesh of the villain. this caused the villain to create an opening, that allowed allmight to save him.
he didn't talk to you after that, he didn't have the chance. the most you'd given him after that was a nod.
he saw you everywhere and in everything now. in the orange flowers, in the dandelions, in the way the clouds shaped.
he wasn't looking for you in the entrance exam, no way. but when he saw the familiar silhouette of your body next to deku's, he felt his heart race. you looked amazing, your body a bit more toned now, he assumed youve been training alongside deku all this time.
he wasn't looking at you.. but, he saw the look on your face as you pouted, mouthing to deku the session you were placed in. he was in the same one.
he wasn't looking for you or anything, but when he spotted the aftermaths of your quirk, referring to the massive amoungs of molten iron from the pointed robots, he sped up.
the sight of you in action sent cupid's arrow through his heart.
you, now covered in the magma rock yourself, with your hair being the main source of the lava pooling around the exam center. the robots turning to nothing as you blast each shot with pinpoint accuracy, the small sighs you'd occasionally let out birthing fire from your mouth.
there was now a range of symbols, red and apparent, marking your body. from your face to your arms and even your legs. he was in utter awe of the chaos, yet elegance of your quirk.
you were breathtakingly horrifying.
as soon as time was up, he'd gotten the top score of course. but it wasn't by a landslide as he'd hoped, because you were only 0.5 points away.
he'd hoped to see you again. and he did, in class 1-a, you'd taken a spot next to deku again, and a girl with pink cheeks. he tsked as he put his feet on his desk, prompting a guy with engines on his legs to reprimand him.
he was deeply moved whether you used your quirk, whether it was in the quirk physicals, team battles, or mock missions.
he didn't know how or why, but he'd managed to become friends with you. along with the rest of his group, or the people that followed him around and forcibly made him their friend, you'd hang around.
his conversations with you were usually short, he didn't know how to talk to you. you made him feel weird, a feeling he never really understood.
not until their first encounter with villains that is.
the second they were teleported, he was on a mission to look for you. kirishima walking behind him as he tried to find you and make sure you were okay.
but when he saw you cornered by a group? he went rabid, sending shot after shot onto them until they were unconscious. he helped you stand up. "you okay?" he held your hands in his.
"i.. im fine bakugo. thank you."
he felt his face flush, he was lucky his hands were covered by his outfit, because he was sweating inhumanely. you finally let go of his hands, making him sigh before you suggested, "let's go regroup with the others, k?"
he nodded, and joined back in the fight.
he got more comfortable with you after that, holding your hand seemed to be casual for you two now. he sat beside you at lunch, his hand on your thigh as you two ate. you trained together, studied together, hung out in his room together.
napped together once, his heart leaping out of his chest when he realized it wasn't a vivid dream, and that you really were next to him.
when he was kidnapped you were apart of the group who saved him, giving all for one a nasty burn on his bald head.
after that, he realized how you were on his mind constantly.
he wondered if you ate, if you slept, if you studied, how you scored.
when you were training at the agencies if you'd be safe, he knew you were capable, but because of the destructive quality of your quirk you couldn't use it often.
he'd confess his nightmares to you on late night calls. how the phantom pain of being suffocated would sometimes come back to him, how he hated being approached from behind.
and he'd go to bed, his heart racing when you confessed yours. "honestly.. my biggest nightmares are about losing you."
you were even on his mind when he died. alongside all-might and deku, stood you. he wanted your validation, he wanted to be a hero to you, that's what he thought about in his last moments.
when he was revived, he saw you in the hospital. you were alive. except for the severe burns on your arms from your body's over exertion, the only other wound was in your stomach.
his heart ached as he saw you. there was a gash in your stomach.
after weeks of rehabilitation, he couldn't take it anymore.
he bowed his head to you, confessing his feelings that had been boiling over for years. your arms were still bandaged and one of his was still in a cast. you grabbed his face, pulling him up to yours before planting a gentle kiss on his lips. you kept him there after, looking into his red eyes.
"i've liked you too for a while, bakugo."
"katsuki."
"...katsuki."
you started dating. he worked to strengthen his hand, as you worked to up your bodies tolerance for your quirk. throughout the years you'd grown even closer. he got you a gorgeous promise ring, scratching the back of his head as he said, "it's just a placeholder for the next one. so, sorry if it's--" you cut him off with a hug and a kiss.
you graduated alongside eachother, where he gave another speech and you had to try your hardest not to burst out laughing at the memory of his first one.
you both worked hard, becoming pro heroes, and surprisingly
becoming popular because you two were dating.
you'd constantly be caught out together. photos of katsuki's smiles as you smear frosting on his nose, you two laying down on a picnic blanket and staring into each others eyes, you two walking around the streets.
sometimes you'd catch him watching your fights. could you blame him? he thought you were gorgeous, always. but especially when you were fighting. the look on your face, your actions, your confidence,
it'd send him spiraling.
you attended gala's together, him at your side. you've received thousands of modeling contracts, but you only accept ones that'd let you pose with katsuki.
you still made him nervous after all this time, so he'd audibly gulp whenever you circled him, striking poses so he'd laugh.
you became the nation's couple, which shocked the two of you to no avail.
he proposed to you on your 5th anniversary. true to his word, the ring was extravagant, it glimmered from all angles. he explained, looking into your eyes as he held your hand, "i could never find anything as gorgeous as you, but i hope it comes close."
your wedding was huge. you actually had two, one for close friends and family, where his mother took the reign to plan everything since you two were so busy.
and a huge public one, media and journalists allowed to see the million dollar wedding you two had to celebrate your years together, and katsuki's undying infatuation with you.
he was wrong though, because he did find something as gorgeous as you.
your beautiful baby girl that you welcomed to the world.

happy birthday hungharrington! and congrats on everything!!
i was wondering if i could request a little something with prompts from both lists! i was thinking maybe a little beach trip with The Gang (established relationship reader and steve) with the prompts “mutual masturbation because they don’t have the energy for anything else” + “shh, there are people in the other room.”
either or is also fine! i love your work <3
hi my love!! thank you so much 😚and also thank you for being here and coming to my beeday party <3 you're the lucky first one to arrive omg... i hope this is ok, it kinda got more plot than porn my bad <3 afab!reader, 2.2k, mdni this entire blog is 18+
how to beat the summer heat

Between the car engine droning lowly beneath you and the heat of Steve's leather seats, you could nearly be lulled off to sleep. Safe in the passenger seat of Steve's car, it's highly tempting.
You would let yourself too, if you weren't so close to getting back to Steve's house. That—and the racket that the baby teenagers in the backseat keep stirring up, their rustling non-stop.
"Can you keep to your side of the seat?" Lucas says, somewhat scathingly.
"Can you learn how to say please?" Dustin spits back.
"Oh my god, you're so obviously an only child."
"Um, only by blood. Steve is practically my brother. Right, Steve?"
Beside you, one hand draped over the front wheel to steer, Steve's face twitches closer to a smile. The sun has done wonders to him. His hair looks lighter, his skin tanner — there's a glow to his whole demeanour. You're willing to bet if you reached out and touched him, he'd be just as warm as when he was laying in the sun an hour before.
Steve's eyes move up off the road to look in the rearview mirror.
"Uh huh." He agrees glibly, his gaze drifting to you and your evidently sleepy, curled-up form. "Whatever gets you turds to be quiet."
Dustin makes a squawk of protest but whatever battle he's looking to pick next is lost, the car already pulling in to the Harrington driveway.
It's a full-house tonight with the trip out to the watering hole. It's not far to travel by car, but too far by bike — and what had started as a simple plan for you and Steve to beat the summer heat, quickly spiralled into a full babysitting gig. Including a sleepover.
"Christ, why did we agree to this?" Steve huffs a sigh, watching through the windshield.
The backseat had emptied the moment he parked, each rambunctious teen rocketing towards the door the moment they could. There's definitely a door left open in the back and they're already squabbling as they push through the door. They're multitaskers, you'll give them that.
You unfurl from your tucked up position, groaning at the lovely stretch you get, and grin over at your boyfriend. "'Cos we happen to love those little twerps."
Steve's gaze switches to you, softening in an instant. He reaches a hand out and rubs your thigh tenderly.
"Y'alright, honey? You gonna take a nap?"
He's got, what you've affectionately nicknamed, his boyfriend voice on — a little more gooey and doting than he would ever be around other people. You hum happily and lean into his touch, reaching down and placing your hand atop his.
"Maybe..." You say, dragging your finger idly across the back of his hand. It betrays the fact you might have other plans.
The two of you have had to be rather restrained today, given the company. But it doesn't mean you've stopped lingering touches when you can sneak them, nor your heavy gazes and kisses too close to lust.
Steve's grip on your thigh tightens slightly, the vein in the back of his hand prominent. You see his throat bob as he swallows.
"Better get inside first," You say with a smile, breaking the moment to crack open your door. Steve's hand slips off your thigh as you step out.
The pavement is hot enough you can nearly feel it through your sandals, the air bending in the heat. Its not quite heat of the day anymore, but it still lingers enough to make you sweat. You push your door closed, then nudge Dustin's door closed too.
Steve's quick to stick close by as you both wander back up to his house, closer than he needs to be. You have to press down your smile—he's incredibly obvious at times. It's something that endears you even more.
"Someone's keen," You tease lightly, looking over your shoulder at him.
Steve reaches out and gives your waist a quick squeeze. "Someone got no warning about your newest bikini." He murmurs accusingly.
You laugh at that. He's absolutely right and it was entirely by design, getting to slowly reveal the new set to him for the first time today.
He'd already gotten in the water, had shaken his hair out like a dog and was dotingly waiting for you to join him. And as you had eased your shorts down, the new tight red bikini bottoms revealing themselves, Steve had promptly inhaled a mouthful of water, then hacked it back out.
"So, I shouldn't have worn it?" You ask, already knowing the answer. The door's still ajar from where the kids have filed through and you step through, kicking your sandals off.
"Are you kidd—"
"Steve! Where's the pizza?" Dustin interjects, panting in the doorframe at the end of the hall. Steve's nose twitches, the only evidence of his displeasure at being interrupted.
"In the freezer!" He calls back. He looks down at you, eyes catching on the red stripe of your bikini top still visible.
"Hey, uhhh," Steve catches Dustin's attention just in time, focusing back on the kid. "Can I trust you can handle the oven? We're gonna take a nap, sleep off some the sun."
Wobbly start, but strong finish. Dustin's eyes squint for only a second, enough that you wonder if he can tell, before— "I'm literally so offended that you think I can't use an oven, Steve."
Then he turns and leaves, doorframe now empty. Steve blinks, turning to you, a coy grin toying at his lips. "Well, that was easy."
Rolling your eyes, you take the stairs quickly, knowing the way to Steve's room like the back of your hand. Steve follows dutifully. You hear him shed his shirt as he goes, throwing it over the banister to deal with later.
It's hotter up here, the warmth collecting in the roof and circulating down to keep temperatures high in all of the upstairs rooms. You push into Steve's room and then wrinkle your nose, heading straight for the window to open it. Fresh air rolls in and you sigh in relief, stepping back and flopping onto Steve's bed in a lump.
A moment later and Steve joins you.
"It might actually be too hot to have sex," He says, rolling his head in your direction. "And too tiring. That nap actually sounds like a good idea right about now." He pauses a moment, eyes cast to the ceiling, brow scrunched together. "Oh my god, are we old?"
You laugh, turning to be closer. "Maybe we are."
You kick off your shorts to remove the stifling fabric and your shirt follows suit, alleviating some of the heat. The bikini is still the slightest bit damp. You stretch out, unsure if you'll be napping or something else altogether.
Steve glances over, then groans, his hands coming up to cover his face.
"Not fair." He says, voice muffled behind his hands. "I just said—"
"I'm literally just lying here."
"Exactly!" Steve exclaims, pulling his hands away from his face. He rolls over onto his side, one hand holding up his head, his bicep bulging.
"You're just... laying on my bed..." He says, voice suddenly lower.
His free hand reaches out, slipping a finger beneath the strap of your bikini.
"In the most... delectable little number I've ever seen."
His pupils are wide and his lids low, his heavy gaze trailing across your body with a hunger you're well familiar with.
"And we're both too hot and tired to do anything about it." He finishes with a whinge, his head flopping forward into the bed, pressed up against your arm. You giggle, reaching out to card your fingers through his hair.
"What if we don't," You start, an idea forming in your head. The quick flashes of how it could unfold, the mere thought of Steve's hand pumping his own cock, right next to you, sends a hot pulse between your legs.
You look over at Steve who's perked back up, watching you with a furrow in his brow. "But we still do. Just by ourselves."
It takes a moment for the words to sink in, the pinch in Steve's brows still there as he searches your face for what you mean. You can see it when it dawns on him, pupils blowing wider.
"What, you mean like-?" He makes a crude jerk off motion with his hand, eyes wide.
You blush and laugh at the same time, suddenly unsure if that's something Steve would like. Hesitantly, you nod.
Turns out, you needn't worry, given how Steve flushes so much, it travels up to his ears. He's nodding, an excited sort of grin on his face before he ducks in to steal a quick kiss from you.
"Yeah," He says shakily. "That's- yeah, let's do that."
He rolls back to lay on his back, the tightness in his swimshorts far more apparent now. You watch eagerly as he reaches down, tugging at the drawstrings to loosen them up. His hand disappears into them and you see the heavy swallow of his throat, the soft flutter of his eyelashes as he grips himself.
You're so transfixed that it takes Steve nodding to you, murmuring your turn, with his voice rougher than usual to snap you out of it. Heat from something other than the summers day thrums through you, the heartbeat in your cunt getting louder, needier.
It's easy to slip one hand beneath the stretchy fabric, Steve watching closely as his hand begins to move. You trace a finger down slowly, finding a well of slick waiting for you, your fingers dipping in gently.
Dragging the wetness back up, you begin to push lazy circles on you clit, a hazy, quiet sort of pleasure beginning to buzz beneath your skin.
It spikes up when you pull your focus back to Steve, and suddenly there's too many places you want to look. Your eyes are drawn to the movement in his shorts, to the slow way he fucks his hand, lazy and unhurried — but his noises are too enticing to ignore.
Bare chest rising and falling with his breaths, Steve groans lowly in the back of his throat, soft and throaty. You don't even know if he knows he's doing it, the little catch of his breath when his hand strokes up over the head of his cock where his groan gets louder.
You have this reaction practically memorised, from the countless times where it's been your hand gliding over his cock, pulling sweet sounds from his mouth.
"Feel good?" You whisper.
Your own voice is a bit breathier than usual, pleasure still slowly burning in your core. Steve's hand stutters at the sound of it, resuming at a slightly faster pace.
"Fuck, yes," He whispers back heavily, not quite as quiet. His eyes are ever moving, constantly undecided if he'd rather look at the sight of your hand between your thighs, rubbing away, or your face, so switching between the two rapidly. "God, y're so pretty."
You smile at his sweetness, even if it is wrapped in the filthy scenario. Your legs spread a little further, sinking into your comfort.
There's something about the whole scene — the warmth of the summer afternoon and the laziness of both of you, tired and barely chasing the pleasure, just dozing in it, that sets your desire burning.
"Yeah? You're not so bad yourself, pretty boy." You whisper back, voice more sultry this time. Your eyes hunt for that reaction too — the adorable flush Steve gets when he's called pretty.
You're not disappointed. You're rewarded even, with Steve's blush returning down his chest and his hand speeding up again. He moans this time, louder than before, and you remember abruptly that you're not without company.
"Shh," You murmur, your own fingers moving faster, a whine threading into your words. Heat blazes deep in your gut, building and building. "There are people in the other room, baby. We've gotta be quiet."
"I—ngh-" Steve cuts himself out with another soft moan, turning this time and burying his head against your neck, as if to smother his noises. His hand has abandoned any slow pretence, jerking up and down on his cock fast enough you can hear the slick sounds of his pre-cum.
"I'm not gonna—last," He pants, quieter this time. "Y'so fuckin' hot. This is- christ, the hottest thing we've done—"
His string of whiny moans and frenzied words sets you off, the hook in your tummy suddenly tightening without warning.
Your hand pushes faster, burning hot pleasure washing over you, as you turn and bury your own ragged moan in Steve's mouth. He takes it, capturing it in a messy kiss.
You hear the stagger in his breath when he cums, hitching up and devolving into a filthy moan you have to smother with a kiss. Steve's hand is still moving, same as your own, pulling every dreg of pleasure from himself.
It's a long minute of bliss, mouths pressed together, the ends of orgasms chased. You can feel your skin sweating where it's ended up pressed against Steve, feel the dampness between your thighs, the stickiness of the whole affair.
Steve kisses you again, more purposefully than his last, yet lazy and content. Drizzled with pleasure, he nips at your bottom lip, then soothes it with another kiss. You can't help but smile into the kiss, somehow already scheming of what round two might look like in the shower.
A cold shower, of course.
come join the celebration <3

Kep1er’s Seo Youngeun x Male Reader
1.8k words

A/N: Part of suchsweetstories' prompt event! This one's for delph. :luvv:
—
“When do you use the Poisson distribution?”
“It’s–” and Youngeun pauses, tapping the Apple Pencil on her cheek, eyes pointing elsewhere “–number of events occurring in a timeframe?”
“Correct!”
The library is quiet, making reservations for the encouraged silence. The squeaky clean scent of the air wafts into your nose. The tables and chairs are neatly arranged, at least before the crowd enters and scatters them all over the place.
You decided to apply for the faculty’s tutor position for some quick cash, good money per hour, after all. You can spend it on some nice meals after a few sessions.
Your first student is Seo Youngeun, a sophomore, just a year below you, and you can tell that she has done a decent amount of preparation for this, being receptive and eager so far. She asks questions and tries to solve problems the best she can. It’s making your first time easy, really.
“What about binomial distribution?”
“Hmm, a chance for a certain number of successes?”
“You’re making this really easy for me.”
Youngeun laughs, covering her mouth with her hand, body falling backward slightly. “I’m just trying to be a good student, if that helps.”
“You certainly are.”
The session goes on, and Youngeun continues to be resolute. She asks questions, summarizes the answers in her own words, constantly trying to understand the subject she’s learning. This is really easy for you, and you only wish that the next sessions will be like this.
“Can I take a look at your old assignments?” Youngeun asks, shifting slightly in her seat. “I wanna see how you did them.”
“Sure! I’ll just AirDrop–” Your words are cut off as Youngeun leans in closer towards you, scrolling your iPad for the assignments. Her flowery perfume hits your nose, making you shiver a little.
“Uh.”
Her hand presses into your thighs for a hold, feeling a bit heavy against your skin. You tremble slightly as she applies the pressure on you, feeling a brand new kind of current running through your body. Your eyes are focusing on her face—so gorgeous. Smooth jawline. Curious eyes. Soft-looking lips. She’s definitely a catch.
Inevitably, your vision shifts down towards her workshop shirt. She only wears a tight, white crop top underneath. It looks good on her, casually stylish. How nice would it be to go on a date with her in these clothes?
Soon, your eyes wander towards the smooth, milky skin of her cleavage. Oh, how nice would it be to sink your face into that dip of her curves? Your mouth feasts on her hard nipples—so salty, so full of her perfume—eliciting sharp moans from her lips. She presses your head into her chest, creating such a salacious, filthy bond between your mouth and her tits. Your hands sink into the plumpness of her ass, feeling those muscles flexing against–
The automatic door opens, introducing a new patron to the chilly library. You blink, regaining that precious awareness back, and you know that you’ve been staring a tad too long. Lucky that her eyes are still on your iPad.
You quickly look away, hoping to find some reprieve in other objects—chairs, tables, books. Your legs press into each other, adjusting the growing erection in your pants. Heat creeps up your body. Your stomach sinks—this is fucking embarrassing. You’re supposed to teach your student, not imagine yourself sucking on her tits!
Her hand lingers, staying there. She doesn’t squeeze; she doesn’t press harder, but it’s sure having an effect on you. Your breath quickens. Your hands tremble. Your cock hardens. Fuck, you can’t let her see you getting all worked up like this!
She even adjusts her top, revealing even more of her cleavage. There’s no way out of this. Your pants are barely holding it together.
After what felt like an eternity, Youngeun’s hand finally leaves your thighs, giving you the space you’ve been craving. You let out an exhale as she lets you go. Youngeun goes back to writing something on her iPad, completing her assignments as you desperately cling on to your composure.
“Divided by k factorial–can I take a break for a bit? We’ve been studying for half an hour already.”
You clear your throat, trying to maintain a professional façade. Hope she doesn’t see it slipping.
“Uh–sure.”
—
You let out a sigh as you relieve yourself alone in the bathroom, eyes closed, head falling back. Your body feels so light; the tension slowly dissipates away. Just half an hour more and this will all end. No need to worry about her intimacy like that again. Just be a professional, keep your cool.
Until you feel a pair of arms wrapping around you.
“Hey there, pretty boy.”
Youngeun.
Your eyes widen in shock. Your body jolts in her warm embrace that disarms you completely. Her hands trail down your taut abdomen, down to your cock that’s in the middle of the business. She holds it gently with her fingers, making your cock grow harder in an instant.
You glance back at her. “What–What are you doing, Youngeun?”
“Shhh, be quiet in the library, baby. It’s against the rules,” she coos—voice so airy, so seductive. It’s a wonder how she manages to be so calm and authoritative in this situation. Your body easily wobbles under her touch, control being stripped away so quickly. The hold on your length is flipped over to hers in an instant.
You’re still in the middle of emptying your bladder, but the grip on your cock is fully hers. She grips it firmly, but never too tight. Youngeun is holding a goddamn royal flush here, and she makes sure that you can’t fold.
The stream weakens—from continuous flow to smaller drops. Youngeun wiggles your cock lightly, getting rid of the final remnants on your slit, and you can only watch helplessly as they fall into the urinal.
“Flush it,” she orders—so calm, so hushed.
Nervously, your hand moves towards the lever, barely able to push it down. The urinal makes noise as the water falls from the top, cleaning your filth into the pipes.
Youngeun tightens her hold around your hard cock—warm—sending a jolt of electricity through your body. Her other hand trails down your body, caressing the skin along the way, until she reaches your testicles. Youngeun cups it gently, delivering warmth to your frame. Your breath comes out shaken from the overstimulation, almost a moan. This is just too much, too intense. You have to grab the compartment divider to keep yourself standing.
Her warm hand begins to stroke your length, and that almost makes you collapse in her hug. She slides your foreskin back and forth, slowly, tortuously, stimulating you with such divine sensations. Your body squirms, overloaded by the act. Your back arches against her embrace. You struggle to stand upright. Breathless moans leak out of your lips into the cold air of the bathroom. You’re getting loud, but you just can’t help it when you have your student jerking you off like this!
“What did I say about making sounds, baby? Hmm? High chance of people hearing us,” Youngeun whispers, quickening her pace on you, tightening her grip. You feel even more helpless with her restraining you like this. And the worst part is: she’s smiling all so casually, like this is a normal occurrence for her.
Your cock swells against the palm of her hand, aching for that sweet, sticky release. Precum leaks out of your slit. You’re desperately trying to hold your body still within her warmth, trying not to collapse, to falter. The chill from the air conditioner hits you, contrasting the warmth from her small frame. Your muscles tighten against her—chest heaving, thighs clenching, so ready to cum. The wet, obscene sounds of the strokes fill the bathroom, lucky that no one is here yet in the morning.
“I’m gonna make sure you cum so hard that these little balls become dry.”
Your body shudders with her words, shaken by the sheer anticipation and pleasure she creates with her tiny hands. You can feel that you’re close—how your body strains against her abdomen, how your hips begin to thrust into her hands, how your breathing comes out short. You’re just Seo Youngeun’s plaything, and she makes sure that you are more than aware of it.
“Come on, cum for me. I wanna know how you taste.”
Your breath hitches. Your entire body spasms—a shock delivered from her filthy little hands. The first spurt of your cum is shot onto the urinal, painting it with the first stroke of ivory. Your moans leak out, barely suppressed. The second spurt brushes against the porcelain with another stroke. Then the third. Then the fourth. Then the fifth. You strain with each burst of your cum, barely able to breathe properly.
“You’re cumming so much, wonder who did this to you,” Youngeun coos, rubbing your cock to coax any cum left in your balls. Your nectar continues to dribble out of your slit. Your body shakes in her hug.
Bursts become drizzles. The orgasm slowly subsides, but Youngeun is making sure that you’re all drained by the time she’s done with you. Her pace slows down, but the grip is still tight—to empty you, to make you devoid of any essence. The drops begin to stain her hands, leaving white on her skin.
Youngeun teases, still forcing the last drops out, “Oh no, how am I going to clean my hands now?”
You can’t say a thing, overwhelmed by this entire situation. Your mind already went blank by the time she put her hands on your busy length.
Finally, you’re drained, tired, spent. Your head rests against the wall, watching your cum running down the white of the urinal. Sweat falls down your forehead. Your heart races. You can barely stand up straight. You’re full of shame, so overtaken by the pleasure that just coursed through you.
You’re such a slut.
Youngeun finally lets go of you, hands all stained with your cum. “Look what you’ve done to me,” she says, teasing her hand in front of your face, so full of mischief. Then, as promised, she brings her hand closer to her lips, before you hear a lewd, obscene sound of sucking. You just can’t bear to watch—too weary, too drained—but you sure know what she’s doing.
“You taste good,” Youngeun says, continuing to make that filthy sucking sound. “Wonder how it’ll taste from the source.”
Your mind spins from her filthy words, slipping into such a salacious, debased scene. Her lips stretch around your cock, making the filthiest sounds. You can barely stand up straight. Your body squirms in her touch. Her hands work on your cock, so determined to taste your cum shooting out of your slit. Pleasure cuts through you like a blade. And finally, you break, making Youngeun take every single drop of your cum into her throat. Her eyes flutter as your dick stretches her mouth out. Your cock pulses against her lips, hands gripping against the counter.
Shame that it’s just a product of your spent, overclocked brain, though.
“But maybe later,” she playfully quips, giving her fingers one last suck before walking away. Her steps echo through the bathroom, replacing the sound of the session earlier. You slowly turn back towards her, seeing her cute little ass swaying from side to side in her jeans. Your breathing is still all ragged, legs barely holding you up straight. You lean against the divider, gathering that precious composure back for the rest of the tutoring session. You feel weak. You feel used. It’s one hell of a final show.
She glances back at you over her shoulder one last time, before musing, “So, what’s the probability of me making you cum again? One?”

adrenaline junkie

r loves to do dangerous things, relishing in the thrill, the rush of ecstasy that rushes through her. until her overprotective teammates find out about some of her hobbies. and then others find out. it doesn't go great.
disclaimer- as has been established, i do not have BDE, so i haven't ever ridden a motorcycle. or done like most of the things r does in this.
At first, it was only small things that the girls noticed. How you would climb up on stuff and jump off, prompting intense scoldings from your captains and the coaches. If this was any indication as to how they'd act if they learned about your... more intense hobbies, you were pretty determined not to let them find out.
There were different rules for professional athletes than people who's jobs didn't rely on their ability to walk. While it wasn't in your contract, you weren't supposed to do anything physically dangerous. No motorcycles, no skydiving, no cliff jumping, no zip lining, no swimming with sharks. It was all very discouraged.
You were an adult, though, a whole entire individual who could safely decide to do dangerous things for fun. Your teammates still thought of you as a kid, Alexia and Lucy especially. And sure, you were young, but completely capable of making rational decisions for yourself.
You'd had a couple close calls; as big of a city Barcelona was, your teammates all lived near you, and it only made sense that it was only a matter of time before you were caught. Your motorcycle was parked in the building's parking lot, but none of your teammates knew that it was yours when they came over. At least, not at first.
-----
You'd decided to use your bike one morning to go grab coffee. The place was too far to walk, but it was a nice day, and you wanted to enjoy the fresh air. It was a few days into the holiday break, so you knew that a lot of your teammates would be out of Barcelona, at home with their families. This is why you didn't worry about going to the coffee shop that a lot of your teammates frequented. Which would turn out to be a mistake.
You'd had to circle the block the coffee shop was on before you could get a spot right in front. You pulled in, turning the engine off and taking off your helmet, leaving your jacket on. When you turned your attention to the coffee shop, or rather the little tables outside of it, you froze.
There, at one of the little tables with their coffees, sat Ingrid and Frido, jaws practically on the floor as they stared at you. Deciding to play it cool, hoping that if you acted like you hadn't done anything wrong, they'd be alright about it, you walked over to their table.
"Hey guys! I didn't know either of you were still in town." Ingrid was supposed to take Mapi with her to Norway, (Mapi had been complaining about the upcoming cold weather for weeks, but every time she even mentioned spending Christmas with Ingrid's family, she got this disgusting, love sick look on her face). Frido was also supposed to head home to Sweden.
Their only response was to gawk at you, stunned into silence.
"Guys?" You said, playfully waving a hand in front of their faces. This seemed to bring them out of their temporary stress-induced coma. Ingrid stood up, almost knocking the whole table over in the process.
"Are you CRAZY?" She shouted, hands flapping in the air as she spoke, gesturing wildly. Frido's mouth was opening and closing, as if she had so many things to yell, she couldn't settle on one.
"About...?" You said, looking between her and Frido, pretending that you didn't know very well what they were upset about.
"YOU KNOW WHAT ABOUT!" Ingrid yelled, pointing a finger insistently behind you.
"Ingrid, you're kind of making a scene." You mumbled, looking out of the corner of your eye at the pedestrians nearby staring at the Norwegian. She only scoffed in response, hands on her hips, waiting for you to explain yourself.
"You know who is going to make a scene? Alexia, when she finds out her perfect, precious, protégée rides motorcycles in her free time." Frido said finally. Your cool demeanor vanished.
"No, no, Frido you cannot tell her, she would kill me. Kill me dead. And if she didn't Lucy would. Actually, I'm pretty sure half of the team would kill me. Besides Pina. And Mapi."
Ingrid lets out an indignant noise. "Sell the motorcycle and we won't tell."
"You want me... to sell it? Come on, guys, it's not even that dangerous." You try, faltering when both girls rise to their feet again.
"NOT THAT DANGEROUS?" They shout together, and you throw your hands in the air, cutting them off before their lecture can really begin.
"Alright, alright, I'll sell it. You guys are boring. And you better not tell anyone about this. No one. Not even Mapi." You said, making them promise they wouldn't speak a word of it.
They insisted on driving home with you, following your bike in Ingrid's car. They honked whenever anyone came even close to you, and every time you caught a glimpse of them through their windows, Frido was staring at you like a cop tailing a murder suspect. At one point, you were going maybe 5 over the speed limit, and Frido stuck her head out the window, instructing you to slow down immediately.
If it wasn't so incredibly annoying, it probably would have been funny.
You parked the bike elsewhere, now, in case either of the Nordic girls decided to check and make sure the motorcycle was really gone.
-----
Mapi must have cracked Ingrid, you're sure of it. And you knew, too, that she only told Alexia on you because she was jealous that you had a motorcycle and she didn't. Of course, Ingrid thought you'd gotten rid of it. You hadn't. And Alexia, being Alexia, was suspicious enough to figure out that you still owned the motorcycle. She'd come over, accompanied by Lucy and Irene, completely unannounced. You'd let her in, somewhat confused. She snooped around without telling you what she was looking for, before triumphantly holding up the keys to your bike. They were hanging on the hook where they always were, but no one had ever thought to pay attention to them before.
Alexia yelled at you like she'd never yelled before, about the dangers of riding a motorcycle, about lying to her, about not listening when the older girls had tried to keep you safe. She was going on and on, and while Irene and Lucy had started off looking like they agreed with her, they were also definitely over the lecture after a few minutes.
You were in hot water with Alexia as soon as the words left your mouth; you weren't stupid, you knew how she would react to what you had just said, but you had always been hotheaded and her hovering and nagging had gotten to you today.
"You don't need to know about everything in my life, Alexia! I've gone skydiving, and I haven't died. I swam with sharks, and didn't die. Cliff jumping? Zip lining? Bungee jumping? Drag racing? I have done all of that, all since I've been with this team, and I am completely fine. You aren't my mother, and I don't need you to act like you are. I don't need your opinion on everything I do, I don't need you watching my every move. I can do what I want." You snapped. Alexia took a step back from where she'd been standing, a look of hurt flashing across her face.
"Y/n, you're way out of line," Lucy said, looking angry again. Irene nodded her head in agreement.
"No, no. She's right. I'm not her mother. She can do what she wants." Alexia said softly. She dropped the keys onto the counter, and walked out your door without another word.
You were flooded with guilt. Alexia had been more of a parent figure than anyone else in your life had ever bothered to be. You were grateful for it, you really were. She was part of the reason you were the person you were today, having spent the last of your teenage years on the team with her. She'd always watched out for you, always took the time to make sure you were okay. She'd expressed to you, before, her worry that she was overstepping, doing more than you wanted her to do. You'd thrown that right back in her face.
"You need to apologize. That wasn't fair of you." Irene said coldly.
"I just-"
"-No. You and I both know everything that Alexia has done for you, gone out of her way to do for you. She loves and cares about you, obviously you doing stupid and dangerous things is going to bother her." Irene's voice was deadly serious, arms crossed over her chest as she stared you down.
"When you moved here from England, do you know that Alexia called Leah, and talked to her for hours trying to get to know you, and make the transition as easy as possible?" Lucy cut in.
"When you got that concussion last season and you were in the hospital, she sat awake, all night, next to your bed, too worried to rest." Irene continued.
"She has an England shirt with your name on it that she wears to watch you play, did you know that? No one is allowed to see her in it, but she doesn't miss any of your games for England. Not one."
"Your first Christmas here, she went all out with Christmas decorations. You were living with her then, and she wanted the day to be special, even if it wasn't the way she normally did it."
They were switching off, seemingly having endless examples of all the things Alexia had done for you. You were blinking, hard, memories of how easy Alexia had made everything for you flashing through your mind. Lucy spoke more gently.
"You were 16 when you got here, y/n. She has done more for you than anyone. You're her kid whether you like it or not. It doesn't matter that you're 19 now, it doesn't matter that you don't live with her anymore."
"She deserves better than you lying to her about your dangerous hobbies, and she deserves better than how you just treated her. Fix it." Irene finished, tone still just as cold as it had been. She was, herself, rather protective of Alexia, you knew. Her reaction was completely warranted, you knew that too.
Irene turned then too, walking out your door and shutting it behind her. Only Lucy remained, staring at you critically.
"I didn't mean to hurt her feelings." You said weakly.
"I know. You did, though."
"I don't know why I said any of that, I was just annoyed."
"You're young, it's a young person thing to not think before you speak. You do it all the time, normally it doesn't end as poorly as this did." Lucy tried to joke, hating the sad frown on your face, even if you probably deserved it. You just shook your head, looking up at her as a single tear fell down your cheek.
"What do I do, Luce?"
"Give it a couple hours, and then go apologize. And sell the damn motorcycle. Or I'll remove the engine or something." At this, you did smile, if only weakly. "C'mere," she said gruffly, pulling you into a tight hug. "It'll be fine, kid. Alexia would forgive you for anything."
You hoped she was right.
-----
You stood at Alexia's door, about a half hour later. You'd meant to wait as long as Lucy had said, but you couldn't do it. You were fidgeting with your fingers as you waited for her to answer, not really sure what would greet you.
You'd seen Alexia mad, obviously. And you'd seen her sad, though less often. But you'd never seen her sad because of something you'd done. It made you feel sick, that you'd repaid her years of kindness with rude comments that completely disregarded how much she had done for you, because you were slightly annoyed with her behavior. If she was sad, you weren't sure how you could fix it.
When she answered the door, you were stunned, stunned, to see Alexia's eyes slightly red and puffy, like she'd been crying.
"Hola pequeña," she said roughly, wiping at her face as if to rid it of the evidence as to how upset she was.
"Can I come in?" You asked.
"Of course," she said, stepping to the side immediately to let you in. She led you to the living room, and you both took seats on the couch. The Alexia sitting next to you was not one you were used to seeing; you could tell how hurt she was by what you said. You could also tell she was trying to pretend she wasn't hurt, whether because she didn't want to make you feel bad, or because she was embarrassed at the obvious and uncharacteristic display of emotion. You chewed on your lip for a minute, trying to figure out how to apologize.
"Ale, I'm so sorry," you began.
"It's fine," she said, brushing your apology off. She tried to smile at you, but it was weak, and it didn't reach her eyes. It was going to be hard for you to get out what you needed to say, you knew. You weren't good at expressing your emotions, and you'd never really admitted to Alexia what an important role she had played in your life. You tried to show her through actions, but your words earlier had undone anything you'd accomplished in terms of letting her know how much you appreciated her.
"No, it's not fine. I was completely unfair to you. I didn't mean what I said, not at all. I... you've been... for me..." You trailed off, words getting jumbled. "I don't know why this is so hard for me to say."
"It's alright, pequeña, I get it," Alexia said, and she did sound less upset, like she knew what you were trying to say.
"I'm not used to having people in my life that care. I mean, I am now, because I have you and the team, but it still surprises me sometimes when I do something, and people... people care about what happens to me. You've always cared, though. Even when I was an angsty 16 year old with an attitude problem, and I didn't want you to care, you did anyway."
You take a big breath, trying to steady your voice. "You've been more of a parent to me than anyone. I value your opinion, I really appreciate that you care enough to be mad at me when I do something stupid. I'm sorry I said otherwise, because that wasn't true. I was just frustrated, but you deserve better than that. I'm really sorry about what I said, and I'm sorry that I don't express how much I appreciate everything you've done for me."
You take a peak at Alexia once you've finished talking, and find her looking out the window, jaw set tightly. At first, you think she's upset about something that you said. You see her lip wobble slightly, though, before she bites down on it, and realize what's actually going on. Your captain schools her features, before turning to you.
"Thank you for apologizing. I... I was hurt by what you said. I can't help but worry about you, and I know I probably go overboard with it sometimes, but I look at you and see the scared 16 year old you were when you got here, and all I want to do is protect you."
Alexia shuffled closer to you on the couch. "And I know you appreciate me, pequeña. You might not say it, but you show it. You don't need to thank me for caring about you, though. You shouldn't ever feel like you have to thank anyone for that. You deserve love, pequeña, I hope you know that."
You fall somewhat unsteadily into her arms, which wrap around you in a comforting embrace. You blink your tears away, wondering how your apology to Alexia turned into her comforting you, but that was the magic of Alexia Putellas.
"Y/n?” She says, chin resting on top of your head.
"Yeah?"
"Did you really do all those things you said you did?" She sounds slightly ill at the idea, and you wince, wishing you hadn't overshared all of those details.
"Yeah," you answer meekly.
"Dios mio," she mumbles.
"I'll sell the motorcycle," you say placatingly. Alexia lets out a short laugh at that, pulling back from you to look you in the eye.
"I know you will. You aren't ever riding that thing again."
"Well..." You said, unable to stop yourself from glancing towards where you had parked said motorcycle.
"You did not... drive it here... to apologize to me..." Alexia choked out, baffled.
"I did," she groans in exasperation. "But only because I'm taking it back to the dealership right after this. I called, they're gonna buy it back off me." You smile sheepishly at her.
She glares at you. "You better be telling the truth."
"I am, Ale, I promise." You rise, heading back towards the door.
"Good. Off you go, then. Get rid of that deathtrap. And wear your helmet. And drive under the speed limit. And stick to side streets, not busy ones. And-"
"-Alexia, I've been riding it for a year, I'll be fine." You say, fighting the urge to roll your eyes. The blonde looks genuinely anxious at the idea of you driving off on it. "I promise, the dealership isn't far from here, and I'll text you once I'm back home."
She nods, looking at the motorcycle parked outside with an expression full of disdain. "Drive safe," she says finally, and you promise that you will.
-----
You did drive safe. It wasn't your fault that someone ran a red light, or that it just happened to occur right as you were in the middle of the intersection. It wasn't your fault that the car practically t-boned you, the last minute braking doing very little to ease the impact. It wasn't your fault that you were thrown off the bike, sliding and rolling painfully along the pavement until you came to a stop several feet away.
It wasn't your fault.
Still, as you looked up at the sky, feeling yourself begin to lose consciousness, you knew that the fact that it wasn't your fault would not get you out of trouble with Alexia. She couldn't kill you if you were already dead, though, you thought. That was horrifying, and you jerked your eyes back open, trying to stay awake. It was no use, though, and your eyes closed against your will, head rolling weakly to the side on the concrete as spots flooded your vision, until everything around you was dark and quiet.

DP x DC prompt idea
Danny’s space powers are coming in. Because those are something he has, apparently.
He just moved to a new city for college. According to Frostbite, setting out from one’s initial haunt/deathplace long-term, to train or learn, is an important developmental stage for ghosts who are strong enough to do so. Which means his core has now developed enough to be clearly identifiable as a space core.
And also to give him new space powers, of course. Can’t forget that.
Thing is, of all the challenges he’s facing trying to make good first impressions at college while going through New Powers Puberty Part 2: Electric Boogaloo, Danny really thought the newfound ability to see whether someone’s been to space would be pretty low on his list of concerns.
Like, how often is that even relevant in everyday life, right? Hopefully he’ll meet astronauts through his Aerospace Engineering program, but it’s not like it should affect his ability to act normal around people day-to-day, right?
So how, exactly, did he manage to pick a regular study spot in a café also frequented by a group of random people who somehow each have more hours in space than literal crew members of the ISS?
And, more urgently, how long can his sleep-deprived brain resist asking them if they have any insights that will help with his homework?
#dpxdc#haven’t done this much before but I had a thought and it wouldn’t leave me alone#who are the heroes? what’s the assignment? can they actually help? did the barista switch Danny to decaf 30 minutes ago?#up to you

Above Wayne Manor
Word Count: 3632
Pairing: Dick Grayson x Jason Todd x Tim Drake x Reader
Rating: Explicit
Synopsis: During a plane ride after a mission, Luke Fox begins to flirt with you, but your brothers get jealous and decide to mark you as theirs.
A/N: Work written for the @macrocest winter bingo, filling the prompt for "marking their territory".
A/N: This work is a sequel to Below Wayne Manor. I rarely make part 2, but BWM was so well received that I decided to make a follow up, Thank you to all the read, liked and/or commented <3
It had been a couple months since you had lost your virginity to your brothers, in what became the first of many secret meetings in the cave. Bruce remained oblivious to the whole thing and, while you had a feeling Alfred had somehow found out, the butler had never mentioned anything to anyone.
You'd thought it would be weird to be in a relationship with your three older brothers. In reality, it was anything but. Those nights in the cave were your favourites, your heart beating faster whenever Dick, Jason or Tim sent an encrypted message asking for a meet-up. It wasn't always the four of you, sometimes you hung out with just one or two of the boys, or they hung out with you, but there was no jealousy among the four of you. You didn't quite know what to call that dynamic, but you knew it felt right.
The only thing that bothered you was the secrecy of it all. The hushed tones, the hidden encounters. Never being allowed to even talk about what happened in the cave when you were out of it. You wish you could just… be with them. Let everyone know you belonged together. Surely there were bigger issues in Gotham than four siblings being in love. Or, even if you couldn't be public in your civilian identities, why not let everyone know that Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin and Flamebird were in a relationship? But whenever you brought up the topic of going on dates or even doing it in the manor, your brothers quickly shut down the idea, saying that Bruce would go crazy if he found out.
Sometimes, at night, you laid awake worrying that for them it was just a casual fling. Sex for the sake of sex. But then, how to explain the sweet words they whispered in your ear all the time? Or the frequent emotional conversations you all had after sex? Still, as months passed by, you learned to accept it as merely 'siblings with benefits' and gave up on dreaming of it being anything more.
* * *
The low hum of the Batplane's engines filled the cabin, a constant, soothing vibration that contrasted with your still accelerated heartbeat. The sleek interior was dimly lit by faint blue panels, casting long shadows over the faces of your companions. Dick sat at the controls, his hands steady as he navigated the aircraft through the night sky. Jason was leaning back in his seat across the aisle, arms crossed as he watched Tim type the mission report on his laptop. Luke, sitting in front of you, tinkered with the cowl of his Batwing suit.
You sat by the window, your knees tucked to the side and your head resting against the glass. Outside, the world stretched endlessly beneath you, the clouds below glowing in the moonlight, pierced occasionally by the faint glimmer of city lights. The stars above were shockingly bright, free from the interference of Gotham's ever-present smog and neon haze.
"It's beautiful, right?" Luke said suddenly, his voice breaking the quiet. You glanced over to find him watching you instead of the view, a crooked smile softening the sharp angles of his face. Ever since he had taken the role of Batwing, you two had been spending a lot of time patrolling together, so when Batman asked you and your brothers to take care of a splinter cell of the League of Assassins in Markovia, you decided to invite Luke to tag along. And it was a good thing you had, as he had proved essential in the fight.
You nodded, "The view? Beautiful indeed."
"Yeah, I was totally talking about the view," he said with a laugh, his tone a little too quick. A faint blush crept up his cheeks, barely visible on his deep brown skin. He cleared his throat and shifted in his seat, then after a moment of hesitation, got up and slid into the empty one beside you. "So," Luke began, his voice trembling slightly, "I've been meaning to ask, do you have a boyfriend?"
You noticed Jason tensing on the other side of the aisle, his hands gripping the armrests of his seats a little too tightly. Even Tim glanced up from his screen to stare, his gaze lingering on you for a moment before he returned to his task.
You laughed, "No, I don't." You shrugged, keeping your voice casual. "Why do you ask?"
Luke chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "I mean, not that it's any of my business or anything. I just figured, you know... someone as amazing as you probably wouldn't be single." He winced as if realizing how forward that sounded, his gaze darting away before returning with a sheepish grin.
You felt a warmth spread through you at the compliment. Luke was undeniably handsome, with a sharp jawline framed by neatly groomed stubble, warm brown eyes, and a soft, boyish smile that was making your stomach flutter. However, you were seeing someone, or rather, multiple someones. But you couldn't tell him that.
"No, no one special," you replied, tucking a stray lock of hair behind your ear.
Luke's shoulders relaxed a bit, his eyes glimmering with hope. "Good to know. Means I still have a shot, right?" His grin widened, but his fidgeting fingers betrayed his confidence.
From across the cabin, you felt Jason's eyes on you, burning with unspoken tension, while Tim's typing slowed once again. Dick glanced back briefly, his brow furrowed but his focus still on piloting.
"Maybe," you said with a playful smirk, deciding to let the moment hang in the air. "You can start by asking me out."
"That's enough!" Jason growled. His chair creaked as he pushed himself up, the sudden movement drawing everyone's attention. His boots thudded heavily against the cabin floor as he strode over to you and Luke, his expression darkened with a barely contained fury. He loomed over Luke, his shoulders tense, and his fist clenched tightly. "You better stay the fuck away from my-"
"Sister", Tim cut in, jumping to Jason's side to hold back his arm, before Jason could throw a punch he would regret later. "How would you feel if I was shamelessly flirting with Tiffany?"
Luke stood up, he was shorter than Jason, but he held his ground, his chin tilted up in defiance. "I'm sorry, I thought we were all friends", he raised an eyebrow, looking from Jason to you and back to Jason. "I'm just trying to get to know your sister better. Is that a crime?"
Jason scoffed, "You're trying to get into her pants, more like it." Tim's grip on his arm tightened, but Jason shrugged him off, his eyes never leaving Luke's. You let out a sigh, leaning back in your seat.
Dick, who had been silent until now, finally spoke up. "Jason, enough." His voice was calm, but authoritative, making everyone pause. "Luke, come here, I need you to take control of the plane."
Luke hesitated for a moment, his gaze flicking between Jason's tense stance and Dick's calm demeanour before he finally nodded and made his way to the cockpit. Dick handed over the controls, giving Luke a brief rundown of the basics. All the while, Jason and Tim continued to shoot you angry looks, while you kept your gaze fixed on the window, your cheeks flushed with embarrassment. You couldn't hide that your brothers' jealous reaction had been a pleasant surprise.
Once Luke had settled into the seat, Dick placed a large headset over his head, adjusting it securely before strolling into the cabin.
"There, now we can have a private conversation." Dick said, as he sat down next to you, his thigh brushing against yours. "You too", he added, turning to Jason and Tim, "take your seats." The two obeyed, taking the seats in front of yours and Dick's so that the four of you were facing each other.
"What do we even have to talk about?" Jason grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Oh, I don't know, how about the fact you almost punched Luke because he showed interest in me?" you retorted. "What's that about?"
Jason hissed in a low tone. "I don't care what you do. But have the decency to not rub it in our face." Jason's jaw clenched, his eyes darting away from yours.
"Besides, he's not good enough for you," Tim added.
"While I disapprove of his methods", Dick said with a pointed glare towards Jason, "Jason was right to interfere. You shouldn't be dating anyone right now, birdie," he ended in a soft tone, placing his hand over yours and giving it a light squeeze."
You raised an eyebrow, a defying smirk on your face. "And why not?"
"Because you fucking belong to us, and we don't want anyone else sniffing around you", Jason blurted out.
Tim and Dick nodded in agreement, their gazes intense as they awaited your reaction to Jason's outburst.
"I belong to you?" you echoed, your voice barely above a whisper. You were very pleased to hear that he considered you to be his, but you weren't going to let him know that just yet. "I wasn't aware I was a possession."
Jason winked at you. "Oh, doll, don't play coy. You know exactly what I mean."
"Or perhaps she just needs to be reminded of who owns her", Tim added with a conspiratorial smile.
Dick chuckled and looked from Jason to Tim. "Well, maybe we should remind our little bird that she does actually have a boyfriend. Three, in fact."
Before you could reply, Dick pulled you into his lap, his mouth going straight to that spot in your neck that made you gasp in pleasure. Not missing a beat, Tim left his seat and kneeled in front of yours, his fingers tracing the line of your jaw before tilting your head towards him and capturing your lips in a searing kiss, his tongue demanding entrance into your mouth. You moaned seeking more contact.
Jason, taking advantage of the way your body arched towards Tim, reached over and unzipped your suit, his knuckles brushing against your skin. You shivered, your nipples hardening into peaks, straining against your bra, which Jason noticed as soon as had removed your bodice.
"Oh, it never fails to amaze me how easy it is to turn you on", he said in a mocking tone, thumb brushing over your sensitive nub and making you whine.
Dick's mouth moved to your collarbone, his teeth grazing your skin. "She's always ready for us, aren't you, sweetheart?" he asked and could only nod. You could feel his hardness pressing against your backside, and you rubbed against it, eliciting a moan from him.
"Use your words, pretty girl," Tim urged as his lips left yours, his hands moving to your waist, unzipping your suit further and pushing it down to your hips and leaving you almost completely exposed.
Three pairs of eyes watched you with intensity, waiting for your response. Your head was fuzzy from their kisses and touches, and you could feel your clit throbbing with need, your pussy also desperate to be filled up. "Fuck yes," you shouted. "I'm always ready for you."
Jason smiled wickedly. "And why is that?"
"Because I'm yours", you told them with honesty, squeezing Dick's hand while you looked at Tim and Jason. "I've always been yours." Jason opened a large smile and leaned down to kiss you, his mouth rough and unrelenting against yours.
"And it's time we let the world know that", Dick growled into your ear, causing you to shiver.
"Is everything alright back there?" Luke yelled from the cockpit.
Tim pressed a button in his earpiece to reply. "Just keep flying the plane to the Batcave and mind your own business", he said, before tossing the communication device aside.
Jason bit down your lip, teeth sinking into the tender skin and making you taste blood while Dick's mouth continued to attack your neck. Tim removed your boots and the rest of the suit with agility, his hands going for your bra and panties next.
Dick then stood up, lifting you with him, and carried you to the back of the plane where a large, plush couch was situated. He laid you down gently and Tim and Jason followed, their eyes never leaving your naked body.
Tim kneeled beside you, running a hand up your thigh. "Spread your legs for us, sweetie", he commanded, his voice low and rough. You complied, cheeks burning bright as you revealed your glistening pussy to them.
"Here's how this is going to go", Dick announced, taking control once again. You and your brothers were used to having him barking orders and dictating your encounters. "Baby, you have really hurt our feelings tonight," he said to you, giving a wink to show that he wasn't really being serious. "So we are going to hurt you in return."
Dick's words sent a shiver down your spine, and you felt yourself getting wetter. You bit your lip, trying to suppress a smile. You had seen them playing rough with each other, but so far, they hadn't ever hurt you. The thought of them doing so made your heart beat faster.
Jason chuckled, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "You heard the boss, doll. We're going to make you pay for teasing us like that."
Tim leaned in, his breath hot on your ear. "If it ever becomes too much, remember you can always safeword. We don't want to really hurt you."
You nodded, rolling your eyes as you muttered the term you had heard then use before. "Yes, yes, I know. Batword."
The three men nodded and exchanged a knowing look. Tim sat down on the couch and suddenly Dick was flipping you onto your stomach and bending you over Tim's knees, making sure to hold your legs in place. You still hadn't really processed the change in position when you felt Jason's gloved hand coming down hard on your ass, causing you to let out a small shriek.
There was barely time for the stinging sensation to pass before Jason gave you a quick succession of five slaps. This time, instead of a cry of pain, you let out a loud moan of pleasure, your hips grinding automatically against Tim's legs, seeking fiction.
"Oh, it seems our little slut likes that?" Dick said, running a finger through your folds to collect your wetness. He admired it for a moment, and then brought his finger to his mouth, sucking it clean. Tim's hard cock poked at your belly, pre-cum already staining the leggings to his suit.
Jason merely chuckled at your reddening but cheeks, and gave you another series of smacks. You didn't bother to suppress yourself this time, letting out a series of whimpers and groans. Jason kept slapping you while Dick and Tim watched, cooing words of encouragement at you: "Good girl", "Taking your punishment so well", "You look so good with palm marks on your ass".
You mentally counted each slap, and Jason kept them coming until you reached fifty, evenly divided between each cheek. When he finally stopped, your skin was burning and you knew that in the morning there would definitely be marks. Which was what they wanted, afterall. Your brothers were marking their territory, laying their claim over you.
"So pretty the sounds you make…" Jason said, running his tongue over his lips. his bulge was visible under his pants and your pussy clenched at the thought of his cock. He crouched in front of you, face close to yours. "Are you holding on alright?" He asked, and you could feel the worry in his tone.
"I'm good," you said a little breathless. "Just… thinking about getting fucked", you confessed.
Dick shook his head."No, no, no. You are not getting any cock tonight, princess. This is supposed to be a punishment, remember?"
You whined. "But--"
Jason cut you off, grabbing you by the throat and cutting your breath. "You heard him, you are not getting fucked tonight. Complain again and we will keep denying you for a whole week", he finished and let you go.
"Or maybe we will comply and fuck your ass", Tim added nonchalantly. Your eyes widened. Although you had talked about it before, they had never actually entered your rear entrance, and the idea of them doing so was quite… intimidating. Especially considering that all of them were well sized.
"Sorry", you quickly apologized. "I promise to not ask again tonight."
"Good", Dick replied, running a head through your head. "Your turn, Tim."
Tim got up from the couch and Dick took his place under you. Jason slid on your side, and with his gloves off, he touched your folds, smiling upon feeling how wet you had gotten just from his spanking you.
Tim maneuvered your body again, so that you were sitting on Dick's lap, your back against his torso, legs opened on the front. As you wondered what exactly Tim was going to do, his mouth closed around your clit and he began sucking hard.
Dick wrapped his arms around your shoulders to prevent you from moving, and Jason's hands casually grabbed your boobs, while Tim gripped your thighs, keeping you from squirming too much, while he kept licking and sucking your pussy.
You could feel your orgasm building up, your body tensing as you got closer and closer to the edge. Tim's tongue was relentless, flicking and circling your clit at a maddening pace, while Jason's fingers pinched and rolled your nipples, sending jolts of pleasure straight to your core.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck," you chanted, your head thrown back against Dick shoulder, your hips bucking in an attempt to get more friction. Tim's hands tightened on your thighs, holding you in place as he continued his assault on your pussy. Dick took full advantage of your exposed neck, his teeth sinking into your skin and his lips sucking hard enough to form a deep red bruise, marking you just like Jason had done with his handprints on your ass.
Then, as soon as it had all started, Tim pulled away with a loud pop, leaving you panting and on the brink of an orgasm. You let out a frustrated groan, your body aching for release. Tim calmly got up to his feet, unbuckling his belt while Jason and Dick continued to play with your body, their hands roaming over your skin, their mouths leaving marks all over your neck and chest.
Tim's belt hit the floor with a clatter, followed by the sound of his zipper being pulled down. You looked up to see him standing over you, his cock already out and in his hand, stroking it slowly. He was long and thick, the head glistening with pre-cum. You licked your lips, eager to taste him.
Tim smirked at you, wrapping a hand around his length and giving it a slow stroke. "I thought we had made it clear that you weren't getting any taste of us today."
"But, you-", you protested but Jason clamped your mouth, turning your words into muffled sounds. While you were still confused, Tim began to furiously masturbate.
"Just stay there and be a good show," Tim commanded, his voice rough with desire.
Tim continued to stroke his cock, his eyes locked onto yours, his gaze intense and hungry. Dick moved his hand to touch between your legs, while Jason continued to suck your breasts, the combined sensations causing you to moan and arch your body, despite their strong hold. Tim's strokes became faster, his grip tightening around his cock. You could see the muscles in his arm flexing, his breath coming in short gasps.
You watched, your mouth watering, as he jerked himself off, his hand moving up and down his thick shaft. "Fuck, I'm gonna cum", he panted, his abs tensing. He let out a low groan, his hips thrusting forward as he came, his hot cum spurting out in thick ropes. Jason moved out of the way just in time for Tim's cum land on your chest and stomach. You let out a whimper, feeling the warmth of his release on your skin.
Dick chuckled. "Look at you, all covered in his cum." Dick's voice was a low growl in your ear, his hands smearing Tim's release all over your skin. "You look fucking gorgeous, baby."
Jason leaned in, his tongue licking a trail of cum from your collarbone up to your chin. "Delicious too," he murmured, capturing your mouth in a searing kiss, sharing Tim's taste with you.
Tim, still standing over you, looked down at you with a satisfied smirk. "Do you still think you don't belong to us?"
You shook your head, your cheeks flushed with embarrassment and arousal. "I'm yours," you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.
Dick pulled you in a tight embrace, not caring about the mess in your chest, his lips pressing against your forehead. "We know, baby. And we're going to make sure everyone else knows too."
Tim and Jason exchanged a glance, a silent agreement passing between them. They both nodded, their expressions serious. "It's more than time for Gotham to know that the Wayne girl is taken," Tim said, his voice firm.
"And as a bonus, we get to piss Bruce off," Jason added.
Dick released you and carefully placed you on the couch. "Which reminds me, we must be near the Manor. I'll go land the plane."
"Wait. What are you going to tell Luke?" you inquired.
Dick waved his hand dismissively, already strolling towards the cockpit. "I guess I'll just tell him to stay away. Or he'll have to deal with your three boyfriends."

Press One for Love, Two for Regret
Chapter 3

Summary: Proper confessions should never happen over the phone. Viktor knows that. So how did he get here?
Pairing: Viktor x Reader
Word Count: 5.3K
Warning: Mature (mentions of explicit content, explicit in last chapter)
Notes: Yup, this started from a silly lil 1K prompt, don't ask me what happened, I wouldn't be able to say either. This chapter is pretty heavy on feelings, self-reflection and angst, but I think y'all will find it enjoyable ❤️. There's one more chapter left (the SMUT yeehawww), but I've written chapter 3 in a way where you could technically stop reading the story here if you didn't want to read the smut, and it would still be a satisfying conclusion. I know most of you are in it for the smut too, so don't worry my beloveds, it will come 😛💕
(Chapter 1) (Chapter 2) (Chapter 4/End)
The humanities faculty room always smells horrible.
It's hard to tell where the pungent scent even comes from; it feels like it's in the air, in all the furniture, in the walls themselves. There's no window to even attempt to vent it out either; it’s in the oldest wing of the university, built at least sixty years prior to the construction of every other unit. Most teachers avoid it like the plague, preferring to work in any other available space on campus, so it's almost always empty.
But it isn't today.
“Melllll,” you moan, shoving your face into the leather couch’s pillows. The smell is somehow worse, imbued into the fabric. If you had to describe it, you would just call it old. Like rancid coffee forgotten on the kitchen counter for too long, or ancient damp books abandoned in an attic. Old. “Why do I always mess up everything I do?”
Mel looks up from the paper she's grading with a sigh, adjusting the small reading glasses on her nose.
“You don't mess up everything you do,” she argues softly. “You wear your heart on your sleeve, and you say what you think without feeling ashamed. That's not something for everyone, but it's not a flaw, either.”
You can only groan into the odorous leather as an answer.
Viktor had been your very first friend at work, but he had been a lot more. Without him, you would have never met Jayce, and without Jayce, you would have never met Mel. And you would have no one to cry your woes to on a Friday evening, a whole two weeks after the most disastrous phone call of your life.
“And I believe Viktor is equally at fault here. He knows better than to play hide and seek with you forever,” Mel hums pensively, crossing her legs. Her olive eyes narrow, her nose scrunching up slightly in thought.
“He's stalling, trying to figure a way out without confronting his feelings or yours. He's smart enough to know there isn't one, but he's stubborn,” she points out, tapping her manicured nails on the wooden table. Tic, tic. Like **the sound of seconds passing on the clock, never-ending and all-consuming.
At first, both Jayce Talis, mechanical engineering PhD and researcher, and Mel Medarda, political science PhD with five peer-reviewed books published under her name, had been two extremely imposing people to interact with. You already felt unworthy enough talking to Viktor, but after learning of the kind of people he usually hung out with, you felt like an absolute loser. Jayce and Mel are both unreasonably attractive and accomplished, and when Viktor joins them, there's no denying he belongs to their world, and not yours.
In those moments, the differences between the two of you seem much more glaring: the university professor with a collection of awards and a PhD in biomechanical engineering, who is dedicating his life to creating life-altering prosthetic limbs and transmitting his knowledge to a whole new generation of scientists… and you.
The guidance councillor who can't shut up.
It’s not that you're ashamed of your job; you love what you do. You love being able to help people figure themselves out, and orient them toward what will make them happiest.
But when you stand in the same space as Viktor, it's hard to see anything other than how much greater of a person he is than you will ever be. He's like a star in the sky, shining brighter and brighter every day, and you get the privilege of watching him through the lens of a telescope. That should already be enough for you to be satisfied.
But it isn’t, not anymore. It hasn't been for a long time. And you want to do so much more than look at him. You want to touch him. You want to kiss him. You want to be someone worthy of shining alongside him; but you never believed that would ever happen.
And for so long, it felt so much easier to just date people whose very existence didn't make you feel like you would never be enough to reach their ankle. People who just wanted something casual and meaningless, some sex, maybe the semblance of a romance. And that's how you ended up with a string of disastrous relationships with men you barely even liked.
You contort your body uncomfortably on the couch to face Mel; it squeaks awkwardly under you, like it's threatening to break.
“Did you know? Did everyone but me know?”
She rests her head on her hand, the hint of a smile on her lips, seemingly slightly amused by the question:
“Depends on who you mean by everyone. No one outside his circle of close friends, for sure. He's not the type to scream about his love life over the phone,” she adds with a teasing glim in her eyes. “No offence.”
You groan, shoving your face back into the roughed-up leather. God, it still smells.
“But Jayce did know,” she confirms, and you hear her straighten her chair to return to work. The comforting sound of her fountain pen starts up again, but you know she's still giving her conversation with your full attention. Mel is like that, able to carry on a hundred tasks at once without breaking a sweat; you wish you had an ounce of her composure.
“Viktor told him after he got drunk last year at the faculty cookout. I believe his exact words were…”
She pauses to do a dramatic imitation of Viktor's voice and tone, “‘Jayce, she is wearing that dress just to put me into an early grave’.”
Not only is it pretty accurate, but God, you know exactly what dress.
The skimpy little sunflower dress that you knew showed way too much chest for a work-related event. You had worn it in the hopes of eliciting any sort of reaction from Viktor; but he had barely spoken to you that afternoon, constantly vanishing every time you entered a room. You assumed you made him uncomfortable with something you said, like you always ended up doing with everyone else.
So you had left the party on the arm of some nameless T.A. from the law department, hoping it would help you forget Viktor, just for a while.
It hadn't.
“And I knew,” Mel continues smoothly in her regular voice, “because I know what it's like to want someone to notice you so badly. To want someone to love you back.”
You detect something very personal in the way she pronounces the word ‘love’, almost like it's painful to even say.
Mel rarely talks about herself, preferring to listen to the stories of everyone around her. Everything about her gives an air of mature confidence and independence, and if she ever has any issues in her personal life, she never shares them with you, or anyone that you know of.
She's not cold by any means, and she helps everyone with genuine care, that, you are absolutely certain of. But you can feel there's a side of her she desperately wants to keep to herself. She's only ever mentioned her mother once, in a drunken haze, muttering something under her breath about never being enough for her.
You wonder if that's the person who’s love she’s longing for.
When she speaks again, there is something akin to nostalgia lingering in her voice:
“You get that special look in your eyes. You both looked at each other just like that, but neither of you ever noticed.”
You open your mouth to say something, but nothing comes. Fucking ironic. You can never seem to stop talking, but now, the words you want to tell her just won't come.
Mel doesn't seem to mind, though, and the sound of pen scrapping paper picks up again. You force yourself out of your leather cavern, sitting up on the couch to look at her directly.
“…Why didn't you say anything?” you ultimately settle with, but it rings much more fragile and hurt than you wanted it to.
She gives a small shrug without looking away from her documents:
“Not my place to. Viktor needed to confront his feelings head-on, and you needed to realize you were never not enough or too much for him,” she states matter-of-factly, “It's that simple.”
Everything always seems so easy when it comes from Mel's lips. But in your mind, thoughts are jumbled, emotions are running wild, and everything you thought you knew about the last four years is falling apart.
Maybe, that time on New Year’s Eve when he told you there was no other place he'd rather be, he hadn't meant at the party. He had meant with you.
Maybe, when he had taken your hand, it wasn't just because you were excitedly counting down the last seconds until midnight. It was because he wanted to touch you just as much as you wanted to touch him.
Maybe, at the end of that night and in those early morning hours, when he had said you would make someone really happy one day…he was asking if it could be him.
“Maybe,” you **exhale bitterly, enunciating the world like a curse, “it would actually be simple if he just answered my texts, or my calls. Or anything I do to try and reach him.”
Yeah, you're to blame for being so blind for so long. For noticing the smallest things about everyone else, but missing all the signs when it came to him.
But so is he for refusing to talk about it now that you finally see it.
“At this point, I’m seriously starting to consider lock-picking their apartment,” you grumble, more in tiredness than anger; you can't even manage to stay mad at him for longer than a minute. “He’s the one who showed me how to do that, did I ever tell you that?”
She lets out a soft laugh at that; but when she glances over to you, there's a hint of something new in her eyes.
“I'm sure he would enjoy seeing you put your training to use, but there might be another way to see him. I think he's had more than enough time playing hide and seek.”
You know that glint in her forest-green stare; she knows something you don't, and she’s chosen to reveal it to you. You almost jump off the couch with your eyes wide, so quickly you almost lose your balance:
“Mel, what do I do?”
She snorts as she motions for you to sit back down with a calming wave of her hand, amusement clear on her face.
“Calm down. I wouldn't tell anyone about this normally,” she begins, lowering her voice in secrecy, as if you’re not the only two in the room, “and I want to make it very clear you did not receive this information from me.”
You nod eagerly in agreement, hanging on to her every word.
“Go to their apartment,” she declares with certainty. “If you keep going after their door and to the end of the corridor, there's a big potted plant on the window sill. An orchid.”
You frown in confusion.
You've only been to Viktor and Jayce's apartment a few times in the couple of years you've known them. Usually for relaxed group hangouts, or an occasional game night. You remember very little about it other than the all-consuming childish excitement of being in Viktor’s home, and the absolutely not innocent thought of his bedroom being barely a few feet away.
Why don't you ever remember the important things?
You try to muster every memory you have of the apartment complex itself instead; they live on the third floor, and their door is the second one on the right after the elevator. The hallway is a straight, narrow line, and you've noticed how dark it always is every time you’ve visited.
Dark, yes, that's right, because aside from a cheap light fixture, there’s only one window that lets any light into the hallway, at the very end of the corridor. One window, that is almost entirely blocked by the world's most decrepit potted plant.
“The… really ugly one?” you ask with uncertainty.
Mel snaps her fingers in confirmation, a hint of perfect pearly white teeth shining between her lips.
“I think you may find something of interest under it. Jayce told me about it for whenever I want to…” she hesitates on her next word, uncharacteristically a little bashful, “visit.”
Oh, you fucking knew it.
“I totally-” you start triumphantly.
“Yes, I know, you knew it for months,” she interrupts, waving her hand in dismissal. Her lower lip sticks out slightly, almost like she's pouting. You've never seen her this embarrassed. “It's incredible how you notice everything about everyone else, but when it's about you, you suddenly forget how to use your own eyes.”
Touché.
You've sensed it for at least a year now, the unspoken electricity between the two of them. How her arm sometimes lingers just a second too long on his shoulder, how his hands seem to always accidentally brush her waist. For as subtle as they were being, there was no mistaking the fire when they looked at each other.
Did Viktor ever look at you like that, too?
Why hadn't you ever noticed?
“Wait, wait,” you interrupt your own train of thought. “The orchid. Why is the orchid…”
You pause when the realization hits you like a bucket of cold water.
Oh.
Oh.
“Do… do they have a set of keys under the orchid?” you ask slowly.
“I didn't say that,” Mel says, bringing her two hands up in self-defence; but the smile lingering on her lips tells another story. “And if you say I did, I will deny it and throw you under the bus with every inch of my power as the advisor for the debate club. Are we clear?”
You could kiss her.
You settle with a tight hug, holding her with as much force as you can muster. The scent of her perfume, bitter and floral, masks the decrepit smell of the room for just a moment. Is there any problem Mel can’t solve?
“Mel, you're the best,” you grin against her ear.
“So I'm told,” she hums. She gently detaches herself from the hug, giving you an encouraging pat on the shoulder. “Now go. I don't like seeing you mop around my teacher's lounge, and I can't stand when Viktor performs his little disappearing act instead of talking things out.”
She picks her pen back up, giving you one last genuine look of support, voice soft, sincere: “You two are really meant for each other. Give him hell.”
—
Viktor is much less attentive than people give him credit for.
That’s not to say he’s oblivious or careless. In fact, when it comes to his work, he could instantly notice a tenth of a millimeter discrepancy from a mile away. He could hear the slightest abnormal murmur in the heart of any machine, and pinpoint its exact origin within seconds. Throw a blindfold on top, and he'd still know exactly where to place each and every single component of his prosthetic models.
But when it comes to the world outside his lab, his attention to detail just plummets.
If a bomb went off right outside his apartment, he probably wouldn't even look up from his notes. Jayce usually has to call his name thrice to pull him out of the trance-like state he gets into when he's sketching up a new idea, and that's only because he's used to Jayce's voice; for someone else, he might not hear it at all.
Even walking home from campus, he pays no attention to his surroundings, lost in his thoughts of valves, hydraulic cylinders, and flexion plates. He mechanically follows the same path he's walked thousands of times, a habit so ingrained in him it allows him to fully disconnect and think of nothing but work.
He's glad he has such a strong grip on his own mind, because if he didn't, he would let his practical ideations slowly morph into thoughts of nothing but you. You, who he hasn't seen in two weeks, because he likes to pretend change can't happen if he simply refuses to acknowledge it. It's much better to focus on what he actually has control over, to lose himself entirely in the things that make sense to him. To forget the world burning around him.
And that's exactly why he doesn't realize you’re in his apartment, sitting on his couch about ten feet away from him, until you make a pointed cough to signal your presence.
“Ah,” is the only thing he manages to get out.
He wishes he'd be surprised, but then again, he knew you would find your way to him eventually. He could keep trying to bury himself in work and avoid you with every inch of his power, you would not stop until you got answers to your questions. You’re just as stubborn as he is. That's part of why he fell for you.
So, there's nothing he can do, but let out a defeated sigh.
“I would ask how you got in here,” he starts flatly, taking off his coat robotically to place it on the hanger, “but I have a feeling it doesn't really matter.”
You don't react to his distant, tired tone, your expressive face unusually devoid of emotion when you speak.
“I didn't use your lockpicking lessons, if you're wondering.”
He can't help but snort at that:
“Disappointing.”
You both stay silent as he slowly takes off his boots and removes his wool scarf. The atmosphere isn't exactly awkward, but it's not comfortable either. Like a cheap, stiff version of the warm intimacy you usually share.
You've always been so easy to read, and anything that didn't show on your face always came from your lips. He always knows how you feel: he's observed every single expression on your face, from the slightest pout to the biggest grin, and committed it to memory with the dedication he only ever puts into his projects.
From the day you literally crashed in his life four years ago, utterly drunk and analyzing him with astonishing accuracy, he's felt the need to analyze you, too. To decipher every part of you, understand each component, each reaction. He craved the idea of knowing you like a cartographer knows the maps of the world, like an astronomer knows the place of every star. To understand you as you had understood him, with a single glance.
Right now, he has no idea what you're thinking.
In typical fashion, you're the one who ultimately breaks the ice first:
“You could kick me out,” you declare, staring him down almost challengingly. “I'll leave if you really want me to.”
There's clear apprehension and hurt in your voice, a bitterness you're trying your best to hide, but failing. He despises being the one to make you feel that way. He's become no better than any of your exes.
“We both know I won't do that,” he exhales. He's still standing in the entryway, just a few steps away from the threshold of the living room. There's no hiding anymore, no backing out. You're here, and he has to face you. Even if it breaks him.
“In the kitchen, second drawer on the left,” he says, making his way inside resignedly. “There's a rather large bread knife inside it. It hasn't been sharpened in a while, but it should do.”
Your passive expression falls for a second and you stare at him in confusion.
“Do for what?” you ask, eyebrow raised.
“Killing me to spare us both the embarrassment of this conversation,” he answers unenthusiastically.
You're the one who snorts, this time. If he could forget why you're here, he could almost pretend this is just a regular talk between close friends. Almost.
You get off the couch without hurry, stretching your limbs lazily; he wonders if you've been waiting for him for a while. You're still in your usual work clothes, but your hair is dishevelled, and your makeup is a bit smudged. Had these been different circumstances, this would be the kind of look he would imagine you in when he's alone in bed, but that's exactly the kind of treacherous impulse that's led him to this situation in the first place.
There's a strange shimmer in your eyes when you look at him again:
“You got any booze in that kitchen ?”
He’s starting to realize no matter how many years you give him, he’ll probably never be able to completely figure out what's going on in that brain of yours.
“You want to drink. Right now,” he states in disbelief.
You shrug:
“Seems like you listened to me when I was drunk last time. Maybe that'll get your attention again.”
There's an undeniable bitterness under the light sarcasm. It's deserved, frankly. And maybe a drink would make what's inevitably coming less difficult.
“First cabinet to the right. You can take the clear unlabeled bottle,” he offers.
You hum in approval, making your way to the kitchen without looking back at him. He makes his way to the couch, sitting at the opposite end of where you had been.
You come back with the bottle in one hand, and two mismatched shot glasses in the other. One is his, a souvenir from an academic conference in Marseilles; the silver lettering simply states ‘Ainsi va la vie’, ‘such is life’. He has to wonder if you chose it on purpose, to taunt him.
Although, the other one is Jayce's, and it's shaped like the torso of a woman with huge breasts in a bikini top with the colours of his old college. So it's equally as likely you just grabbed the first ones you found.
He always overthinks when he's anxious.
You put the three items down on the rectangular table in front of him, before sinking into the couch next to him. Your bodies aren't touching, shoulders an adequate distance from each other, but the proximity is still unnerving. The smell of your perfume, usually so comforting, makes him feel slightly ill.
You pour the alcohol into the shot glasses unhurriedly, progressively filling them both to the brim.
“Did you know Mel and Jayce are together?” you ask, not looking up from your task.
“Unfortunately so,” he mutters sourly.
You pause at that, perplexed.
“No, that is not what I meant, I am very happy for them,” he clarifies quickly. “But their decision to keep it a secret has been rather… precarious for me.”
You slide a glass towards him and give him a smile; the first one of the day, the first one in two weeks.
“You walked in on them fucking, didn't you?”
He groans, and you laugh. God, he missed that sound.
“I have never been more embarrassed in my entire life,” he complains, wrapping his hand around the shot glass. He notices with gratitude it's the plain one and not its heavily endowed sibling. “Being able to run had never seemed more appealing.”
You grab your own glass, the smile on your lips genuine, but fragile. The words still left unsaid hang above you both, and he's forced to remember this is but a moment of respite before everything falls apart.
“Maybe a drink will help you forget,” you joke, holding up the glass in his direction.
How he wishes it would.
“Maybe, maybe not,” he simply answers, bringing his glass to yours until they hit with a light clink. “Cheers.”
Your gaze holds his captive as you speak, like you're reaching into the depths of his very being.
“Na zdravià.”
You throw your head back and down the shot before he has time to voice his surprise, so he does the same, not wanting to break the unspoken rules of the toast; his ancestors would roll in their graves.
The liquid burns his throat almost instantly, the familiar warmth of alcohol settling into his body. It’s strong, powerful, but there’s a recognizable hint of plum and almonds that's comforting to him.
He can’t help a discreet, fond smile as your face scrunches from the sharp taste.
“I-I don't think I've ever had that before,” you cough out, your eyes slightly watery. It's endearing that no matter how much you drink, you never seem to build a tolerance to the sting of strong spirits.
“Slivovice. Plum brandy. The homemade ones are noticeably sharper than what they sell in stores here. Although… perhaps not as legal.”
You let out an amused cough, wiping away any tears before they get the chance to fall, smudging your mascara even more. But you're still smiling at him, decided, bold, never letting yourself be defeated by anything. It's like he's falling for you all over again in that single moment, outside of time and space.
Even in his darkest moments, when all else crumbles, you remain the unwavering light he can always find in the sky.
“I am a little surprised you remembered how to say that,” he admits softly.
What he had meant as a compliment seems to come off as a reproach in your eyes, and the smile falls, ending the magic of the instant.
“It may not always look like it, but I listen to you, Viktor,” you mumble, hurt. “I'm not an idiot, either.”
“I did not mean to imply-” he protests, but the words die in his throat. He opens his mouth by reflex, before closing it again; the sentence lingers incomplete in the air.
“…Why did you hang up?”
Here it is.
“Ah, so we're jumping into the questioning already. Alright,” he sighs. He chooses to stare at the bottom of his empty glass to avoid seeing your reaction. It's pitiful, but it'll spare him some of the pain and embarrassment. “I did not want to listen to what you would say, this once. I was scared if I heard your answer, it would all be real. Unchangeable.”
Change. Viktor had never been scared of the concept before. Change means something new, passing from one state to another, an evolution. It means progress. Nothing could ever be as gratifying, as glorious, as making the changes you want to see in the world.
But he didn't want you to change. He wanted you to stay just as you are, always excitedly talkative and brilliantly observant. Always shinning. A star brighter than any other, that could never fade no matter how the world treated her.
Revealing his feelings for you would have put that in harm’s way. You might think he had never truly been interested in your conversations, in all those ideas and words you feel so self-conscious about, and lose the trust you had in him as a friend.
He couldn't take that risk.
“So… you avoided me for two weeks ?” you scoff in disbelief.
He lets out a short, bitter laugh:
“I would have attempted longer if you did not break into my apartment.”
The poor attempt at a joke doesn't seem to land very well with either of you. The atmosphere feels still and heavy, the strange tension palpable.
“Ok,” you exhale, leaning your head back against the back of the couch. “You can ask me a question now.”
He glances at you in surprise:
“A question? Why?”
“So it's equal. I ask you one, you ask me one,” you explain simply, like it's the most basic rule of conversation in the world. “I haven't been attentive to what you were trying to tell me, for a long time. I need to change that.”
He hesitates for a second. There's a lot he wants to ask you. Had things been different, would you ever have considered him as someone you could fall for? If he could change the timing, the place, the words, would anything have made it so you could have loved him?
“You read people so easily,” he almost whispers. “I always assumed you knew how felt for you, but were too nice to tell me off. That you did not want to break what we had.”
It’s time. It's time for change. There is no other choice than to move forward. He continues:
“I am… sorry that I fell in love with you.”
Ah…
The weight seems slightly lighter on his chest. It's not a good feeling, exactly, but there's a certain peace that comes with finally having said it.
The expression on your face is yet again one he doesn't recognize.
“I'm not. I’m not sorry, Viktor,” you breathe out, hardly any louder than his respiration.
Your hand touches his, just barely, and he flinches, pulling away. But you refuse to back off. You reach for him again, your fingers timidly touching his own.
“Maybe I did know, in a way,” you reflect, a single digit moving across his knuckles, the ghost of a caress, “but I wouldn't let myself believe it. I didn't want to lose the only person I’ve ever felt wanted to listen to me. So… I stopped listening to my instincts, I guess.”
You let out a shaky laugh.
“I talk all the goddamn time and I don't even listen to myself.”
He turns his hand around, letting your index trace the lines of his palm instead.
“A fortune teller who can't read her own cards,” he teases gently. “Ironic.”
You scoff with a smile; your fingers intertwine, tentative.
“You're one to talk, asshole,” you huff playfully, “the big smart professor who can't figure out when someone is in love with him.”
His heart stops beating in his chest.
“Ah. You... you lo-” he stops himself before finishing his sentence, scared of pronouncing the word. He takes a shaky breath before he attempts again: “You feel the same way I…?”
He leaves the question open. He's still hesitant to make it real. Of saying the words that'll shift things. Because damn it, yes, Viktor is scared of change when it comes to you.
“I’m in love with you, Viktor,” you smile, like it's the most natural thing in the world. “Did the part where I broke into your apartment just to talk to you not give that away?”
What a strange feeling. He's dreamed of hearing those words from your mouth for so long, never believing they would, and yet it feels so right. As if you had told him a thousand times before this moment.
Maybe you had, in your own way.
He squeezes your hand, the sensation of your skin against his making it all feel impossibly real.
“I suppose we're both idiots,” he sighs gently, eyes locking into yours. “The blind oracle, and the clueless teacher. What a dynamic duo we make.”
Your forehead meets his, your nose just barely tickling his.
“I'd say we make a good duo. You and me,” you grin. You're so close he can feel the warmth of your breath on his lips. He smiles.
“I'd say so as well.”

Hey, uh, I was scrolling your blog and… you know ChatGPT isn’t even remotely a search engine, right? It just strings together random words in a way that looks like it makes sense and matches the theme of your prompt? If ChatGPT provides sources, if you check the sources will either be fake or not actually relevant to what it’s saying
I had some doubts but then it became very clear that chatgpt is a fraud when I asked it how tall is odysseus and it said something along the lines of "his height is not mentioned in the odyssey but he must be 6foot"
No chatgpt... ody is 5 foot smth. He is TINY. HE IS OUR BELOVED SHORT KING. Here's an actual fact that was easy to find on internet

Lesson learned : never trust AI blindly without asking for sources and double checking the info you get
#i think ody paid chatgpt to spread this propaganda#tall ody propaganda#short king#epic the musical#epic#the odyssey#the iliad#odysseus#he's so silly#i will meme about this scene its just so funny#that “no longer mislead by appearances” was SAVAGE#bro's saying ody looks dumb and short and pathetic until he starts speaking 😭😭💀#funny
