since a lot of ppl left the rpc that were in joshua’s circle and his existing circle is now much smaller and things are slower/fandom lull etc i’m considering the prospect of wiping his memory. he’d still be in his usual thing with sanae and his main verse with him and @dandybarista remains unchanged, but i think a clean slate could make for fresh and more enjoyable interactions. that said, if you don’t want anything to change with joshua and your muse can you please like or reply?

The ages in this show!! I have made some jokes about this before, but it gets me - with aging Ciri up and bringing her closer to Jaskiers age when they meet I can not help but draw parallels. Like Geralt bonded way differently with both of them (which makes sense because Ciri has been his Child surprise since birth and Jaskier just randomly turned up one day and followed him like a puppy) but it's so funny to me. also I'm 100% sure Jaskier was horny as fuck from the beginning so there was a whole different vibe from the get go

Tbh, I actually really dislike that Nightbringer made it so MC was the reason Diavolo's dream is to help reconcile the three realms, or at least helped inspire it. And I am saying this as a massive Diavolo/MC enthusiast.

Nightbringer in general treats Diavolo poorly by not giving him any screen time and such, but it honestly just completely strips his agency away regarding it and I find that annoying.

Like, ffs.... I know the Lucifer UR from OG, "The Glory Days" is almost certainly considered retconned to the devs, (for instance, RAD already exists in it) but imo it was much more compelling writing for both of them that Diavolo's beliefs helped inspire Lucifer's rebellion in the first place

i know i say that atsushi likes to spend his extra cash on kyouka but i also dont think kyouka lives there for "free" like she could, atsushi wouldn't mind, but i feel like it makes more sense for her to contribute since its not like atsushi's rolling in cash

"It's normal for siblings to fight" Okay well it's not normal to be extremely classist and look down on your sister for being non-conforming. Or to go to the woman who ordered the death of your pet to tell her about your father's plans, when he specifically warned you against doing so, because you want to marry the boy you saw attack your sister and her friend (contributing partially to said father's death and your sister being unable to escape on the ship he chartered). Or to think of your sibling as unsatisfactory in comparison to another when you believe her to be dead. I notice that none of the "Sansa and Arya are going to reunite and instantly have no issues" crowd ever acknowledge any of this, which makes it seem like they don't actually believe what they say about their relationship being normal and easily reconciled. People wanting them to have no issues simply because they're siblings is another example of how fandom likes to flatten complex characters and relationships. They get reduced to being bickering siblings when their conflict runs deeper than that. If the author is telling you that they have "deep issues" to work out [X], I don't understand being so adamant about ignoring said issues. I also get the sense it's about ignoring the capacity for a certain character to be flawed, but that isn't going to change the fact that her "slip of the tongue" is very likely to be revealed and a source of further conflict 🤷🏾‍♀️

I gave myself a writing challenge and I am fascinated by it

So basically I put the robins in a randomizer to give them a new order/role (because I just...kinda wanted to see what would happen + I like role-reversal AUs) and got results that are giving me a fucking brain blast.

Stephanie, the first sidekick who defines the role

Damian, the sidekick who was never supposed to be a sidekick but would go on to prove everyone wrong

Jason, the youngest sidekick who is still the Kid Wonder

...So this is fucking wild. I've got some ideas and several of these fit perfectly (Dick's role is pretty similar to his one in canon), but some of these are fucking INCREDIBLE to explore (Steph being the first Robin is something I never even considered but tbh I kinda love it).

I probably won't write a fic or anything because tbh I don't like publishing my writing that much, but I might expand this into a full AU and post about it. I might randomize other stuff too (ie, stuff that I cannot change vs stuff that I cannot keep the same) but this fucking rules as a starting point.

Every time I see people try to make the children of Kronos and Rhea into some big happy loving family who are so close and would do anything for one another I can't help but instantly remember that Demeter had her child kidnapped by one of her brothers and that another brother sanctioned the kidnapping and didn't bother to inform her either before or after, that the same brother killed her lover (it is pretty clear in the Odyssey at least that Demeter slept with Iasion willingly), that her third brother raped her, that Hera and Poseidon tried to put Zeus in chains, that in multiple variants Hera is responsible for the birth of Typhon because of her anger against Zeus, that Zeus inflicted on Hera a form of public torture the ancient Greeks used for slaves, that he made a Giant try to rape her and only killed him when she cried out for help, that Poseidon dried up the rivers of the Argolid in revenge for them choosing Hera instead of him to preside over the region, that in Claudian's De Raptu Proserpinae Ceres imagines Juno taking satisfaction in her suffering, that-
