Some Important Things
So I have a few... boundaries(???)/ thoughts I want to put down real quick because I feel as if their important!
I do not own cult of the lamb modern AUs!! A lot of people (Mostly young people) have come to me asking for permission to make a modern cult of the lamb au. And I just wanna make it very clear that I'm not the arbiter of who and who doesn't get to make a modern au. I'm not sure if Redo AU was the first modern AU(??) but modern AUs are not some fantastical thing only one person can make! It's such a broad concept! Do what you want I want to see all of your cool modern AUs flourish!!
You can even feel inspired or borrow my ideas! Want them to forget their memories of their past godhood- go for it! Have them be reincarnated- Hell yeah! Have Lamb be a god in their stead, why the fuck not! AUs should be fun, having neat concepts should be fun, not restricted by "oh so and so did it first"
I don't own these concepts!! The only thing I "own" is the redo au designs, OCs I made for the world, and maybe how the plot points are linked together! Everything else is anyone's for the taking to take their own spin on it!! And hey if redo AU inspired you in anyway, show me your AU!!! I'd love to see it :)
On that topic though-
2. Don't police other AUs because that seem similar to mine. I had someone come to me recently claiming an AU (that I actually follow pretty closely and have drawn fanart for) is a "copy of mine". Redo and the au in question had a few similar plot points, but the way we wrote the bishops, had the story set up, etc etc, where completely different.
I think I made it very clear that I HATE policing ideas or concepts. Currently artists as a whole, especially on tiktok, love policing each other. Everything has to be original etc etc. Personally, fuck that!! Art is always inspired by other art! And again I don't own the concept of reincarnation! Just let people have fun pretty please!!
Lasty!
3. Please don't send asks that have not been answered by Bishops-of-the-old-faith to my personal ask box in the hopes I'll draw them! So a lil bit of backstory, I'm a mod for the popular ask blog stated above, and that's all fine and cool. Their is a lot of overlap of the followers of that blog and mine, so I understand maybe people feeling like their being ignored by the bigger ask blog would come to my personal ask box in the hopes of getting their question answered.
And technically theirs nothing wrong with that it's just a personal annoyance. I have access to the Bishops-of-the-old-faith's ask box, I do see all of your guys' asks over there. I don't need them repeated in my personal ask box. If I wanted to answer them on the ask blog I would! And I might actually be, or one of the other mods might be! Their are so many asks in that box that it gets a bit hard to get to all of them,,,,!
Anyways that's all I wanted to say!! Sorry for the long post ;;!

I love the idea of the Wayne kids dropping extremely vague and disturbing comments during galas. Especially when in uncomfortable situations or if they're just bored. They pull out things from their nightlife too. Other times they just make shit up.
Socialite: Oh, dear, your cheeks look so sullen! Who sucked the life out of you?
Tim, dead serious: An old man with a goatee.
Socialite: Uh... what?
Dick: Once I broke my knee so badly that I swear I could see part of the bone sticking out.
Socialite: Good lord. How on earth did that happen?
Dick: Just clumsy gymnast things ^^
Socialite: The white streak is certainly a bold fashion choice.
Jason: I saw someone get decapitated once, so I could be doing worse in terms of what's on my head, yknow? At least I have one.
Socialite: What's your favourite colour, sweetie?
Damian: Red.
Socialite: Oh that's lovely!
Damian: Like the blood of my enemies.
Socialite: Oh.
Socialite: You must be new to these kind of events.
Duke: Uh, yeah, they're kind of scary. But I've had worse.
Socialite: Worse.
Duke: Well I've been left on top of a skyscraper before with no way down just to 'get over my fear of heights' so, yes.
Socialite: You don't talk very loud, do you? I can barely hear you.
Cass, with a straight face: If I spoke any louder every glass in the room would shatter.
Tim, behind her: I can vouch.

I am loudly pushing the batdad agenda i am loudly pushing the— DPxDC Prompt
“Woah. You look like shit."
Granted, that’s probably not the first thing Danny should be saying to the guy that just bit the curb, but in his defense; he’s not running on 100% right now either.
The man -- tall, towering, and broader than Danny is tall -- whips around on his heel, black frayed cape flaring out impressively. Danny would've whistled in appreciation, but he takes the time instead to wipe the back of his hand across his mouth, smearing the blood running from his nose across his cheek.
"Sorry." He blinks widely, not even flinching as the man with the horns zeroes in on him. "That was rude of me. I have a really bad brain-to-mouth filter; Sam says its what always gets me into trouble."
And she's not wrong either, per say. His smart mouth is what landed him in this situation -- with blood blossom extract running through his veins and cannibalizing the ectoplasm in his bloodstream. Thanks Vlad.
The man grunts at him; a short, curt "hm" that shouldn't make Danny smile, but he does because he's somewhat delirious and probably concussed. The man keeps some kind of distance, sinking towards the shadows of Gotham's alleyway like he dares to melt right into it.
If it's supposed to scare Danny, it doesn't work. Danny's never been afraid of the dark; he's always been able to hide himself in it. He blinks slowly at the mass of shadows.
"You look hurt." The shadows says, blurring together around the edges. Danny squints, and licks his lips to get the blood dripping down his chin off. Ugh, he hates the taste of blood.
"I am." He says, "My godfather poisoned me. M'dying." The agony of the blood blossom eating him from the inside out looped back around to numbing a while ago, so all he feels is half-awake and dazed.
"Hey," Danny stumbles forward towards the man, a bloodied hand reaching out to him. "You-- you're a hero, right? You're not attacking me; which is more than I can say for most costumed people I've met." Maybe it's a poor bar to judge someone at, but he's already established that Danny's not in his right mind.
The man makes no change in expression, but Danny realizes blearily that it's hard to tell with the shadows on his face. He stays still long enough for Danny to latch onto the cape -- stretchy, but almost soft under his fingers.
He looks up blearily into the whites of the man's eyes. "Can you help me? I don't-- I don't wanna die." Again. He doesn't wanna die again. He blinks slow and lizard-like. "I mean- I'll probably get to see mom and dad again, but I told them I'd at least try and make it to adulthood."
There's a clatter down the street, and Danny's ghost sense chills up his spine and leaves a bitter, ashy taste in his mouth. He immediately knows who it belongs to even before the deceptively gentle; "Daniel?" echoes down the way.
"Daniel? Quit your games, badger, Gotham is dangerous for children."
Danny's mouth pulls back, and blood spills against his tongue. "Please." He rasps, and grabs onto the shadow's cape with both hands. "Please. He's going to kill me. Please--"
"Daniel? Is that you?"
His lips part, dragging in air to plead with the darkness again. He doesn't need to, the whites of his eyes narrow, and the cape whirls around him before Danny can blink. Soon swaddled in shadows, the Night lifts him up, and steals him away.

one thing abt thalia and percy's dynamic that is often overlooked is that percy was punished for the same things thalia was rewarded for. there's a prophecy abt one of the big three kids? percy is treated like a liar and thief and ppl refuse to talk to him. thalia? everyone respects her (including gods!) and assumes she'll do a great job saving the world. thalia is accepted immediately at camp and threatens the place percy spent two years proving he deserves. percy wants to go on a quest to save his friend? he's an attention seeker and glory stealer. thalia? well, she's the obvious choice. thalia comes up w a plan to win capture the flag that's basically "leave everything to me" and percy comes up with a plan that's basically "if you see a good opportunity, go for it," but percy is viewed as the control freak.
what i'm saying is percy had every reason to resent thalia and he didn't. he chose not to. and thalia had every reason to look down on percy and didn't.
even when they were fighting, i never saw it as a power struggle. they were being pit against each other, and instead of doing what everyone expected them to (kronos was fully expecting thalia to kill percy), they chose to love and respect each other. because they're not their parents. they're just two kids who started cracking under the pressure but refused to break.

Since book 7 part 5 (the part where we meet Meleanor/Maleanor 👀) is coming to EN this month, i would love to see your take on lilia’s proposal to meleanor! i mean they were like little kids right? it couldn’t have been that serious…i think the only reason she even brought it up again is because she could tell lilia still genuinely loved her…(even if he didn’t realize it himself?) but, oh well! Let’s think about silly childhood shenanigans to numb the pain! ^_^ (orz)
oh shit?! get ready for a doozy guys, it's comiiiiiing ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
I chickened out of posting the whole thing (look, I get VERY carried away when it comes to these wacky kids and their Tragedy), but I do believe that it probably ended with Lilia getting embarrassed and just shoving the first thing he sees into his mouth to try and cover for it.
(we're just lucky it wasn't a frog this time)

On one hand, Young Justice is kind of neglected by the actual superheroes that should be looking out for them in a lot of crucial ways and very much failed by the adults around them
But on the other hand Red Tornado straight up hosts a parent-teacher conference where their respective legal guardians all show up, barring Batman who’s in traffic so Nightwing fills in instead because Robin’s dad does not know he’s a vigilante which is objectively hilarious

No offence but some younger queer people heard "nonbinary is not a third gender" and interpreted that as "no nonbinary person identifies as a third gender".
And some people heard "nonbinary people are outside of the gender binary" and interpreted that as "no nonbinary person identifies as a binary gender. no nonbinary identifies as both 100% a man AND 100% a woman because that's not outside of the binary". (????)
And some younger nonbinary people seem to have internalised "well I'm nonbinary and I don't feel that way so you're wrong", even though the entire point of being nonbinary is that there's literally infinite ways to experience gender.
What I'm trying to say is, there's an identity entirely built around not fitting into narrow boxes, and yet a hefty chunk of our own community seems hellbent on forcing us into boxes anyway.

One day the kids wake up and they can’t find Steve. They search his house, the school track, the basketball courts, anywhere they can think of where they might find him and he’s nowhere to be found. When they go to Robin’s house, she’s missing too. Her parents haven’t seen her since she disgraced their family by proclaiming herself to be a lesbian.
Even Eddie hasn’t seen either of them and that’s particularly worrying since the three of them are always together.
Both Steve and Robin come back two weeks later with sunburns and matching tattoos on their wrists. They had been at one of the Harrington vacation homes in Florida getting drunk, checking out girls, and getting tattoos. It’s also when Steve realized he was interested in Eddie and plants a smooch on him as soon as he gets back to see Eddie checking out his ass.
