#new dinosaurs of jurassic world dominion
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My favorite of the new dinosaur that was introduced in Jurassic World Dominion has to be the Therizinosaurus. I honestly thought this dinosaur had such a cool creature design.

That moment when…
The short about the family glamping and getting attacked by dinosaurs is WAY Better than the actual feature film.
#jurassic park#jurassic world dominion#…dominion really should’ve just cut the owen&claire subplot entirely#and expanded the Corporate Horror of intentionally causing famine and near extinction with Biosyn monster locusts and crop seeds#then getting interrupted by DINOSAURS because Claire and Owen are fucking Idiots#biosyn and the millitaties still would’ve ‘saved’ the dinos from the volcanic erruption…but yeah#Our Darling New Protagonists didn’t have to inflict Invasive Megafauna!!#buuuut SINCE they did? there should’ve been Consoquences there!!#and the OG Three should’ve been allowed to tell those two off#instead of Buddy Buddy because It’s A Franchise#…also making the girl a clone to ‘justify’ her being there kinda ignores Why there are always Cute Kids in this franchise#the kids don’t need a Reason to be there. the kids are there for the protagonists + audience to get attatched to#and both give a reprieve from Monster Horror + yEAH. It is horrifying. children are in danger too because Adult Hubris/Kids being Nosy#(and THEN giving the kids their own agency as nerds or geeks or some specific athletic skillset)#…anyway. the Glamping Short did it SO much better#…and well. CGI Dinos that just often lack scale + NO subsonic weight and vocalizations…#they’re just. Not Scary#I feel bad saying that ‘cause I actually know someone who worked on the second film’s dinos!#(forgot to watch the credits for Dominion to know if she was on that crew as well)#but…the animatronics being something on-set for the actors to interact with#+ the folley artists getting to go HAM with the sound effects for This Is BIG#(instead of…stock tiger and horse and croc sounds)#…it makes a difference#my cats were Terrified and Comfort Pls with the 90s-00s films#because of those sounds#but the new ones? they slept through them#the new filma just Lack that animalistic instinctual Terror the OG Films did so well#(even when JP3’s early cgi was. really goofy.)

Interview with Entertainment Tonight (2024)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Welcome to Jurassic Park, Jonathan Bailey.
On Monday, the 36-year-old actor talked with ET from the season 3 premiere of Bridgerton in New Yorkand confirmed that he will soon be heading up Jurassic World 4, the latest installment in the beloved franchise which celebrated its 30th anniversary just last year.
"I will be visiting Jurassic Park," Bailey shared exclusively with ET, jokingly adding, "I'm playing a dinosaur."
For the Fellow Travelers star, the new gig -- which comes from the mind of the original Jurassic Park writer David Koepp and Rogue One director Gareth Edwards -- is a full-circle moment as he shares that one of his earliest memories includes seeing the Steven Spielberg hit on the big screen when he was a kid.
"I remember going with my family," he said. "It was the first cinema trip we all went on together. I've got three older sisters so I went when I was like 5."
As for plot details and confirmation on his cast members -- rumored to include Scarlett Johansson and The Lincoln Lawyer star Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, according to Deadline -- the actor kept tight-lipped, but shared that he is feeling ready to take up the mantle and carry on the cinematic legacy left by the previous cast.
"I am really excited," Bailey continued. "For so many of us, I know it's just like an iconic cinematic experience."
The confirmation comes just one day after he teased his involvement in the new project with a cheeky post on Instagram, complete with a photo of him on the Jurassic World water ride at Universal Studios Hollywood.
In the photo, Bailey is seen throwing up peace signs and wearing sunglasses during a visit to the theme park from over a month ago as the photo is timestamped on April 9. He also included a video of a glass of water on a table shaking, a reference to scenes from the original film.
"Hold onto your butts. 🦕," the actor wrote in the caption.
The last film in the franchise, Jurassic World: Dominion, debuted in June 2022 and starred Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and DeWanda Wise, as well as the original Jurassic Park crew including Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Bailey's Wicked co-star, Jeff Goldblum. Deadline reports that none of the reboot actors are expected to return for the fourth installment in the franchise.
Bailey is having a hot year after the release of Fellow Travelers -- which scored him a Critics Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Miniseries -- his casting in Netflix's Heartstopper, the forthcoming release of Bridgerton season 3 and his starring role as Fiyero in Wicked alongside Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.
He stayed similarly quiet on the film adaptation of the Broadway hit, which releases in theaters on Nov. 27, joking with ET that he shows anyone who asks the final cut, including his on-screen family members and friends in Bridgerton.
"Yeah, I show everyone the whole film," he quipped. "I don't -- I haven't seen it."

Hi everyone! So I been thinking hard on a rather unique 3way crossover that I been considering about writing. Please feel free to give me your input.
The 3 way crossover consist of DC x DP x Halo Infinite. With the ships being Jason and Danny (Obviously). Master Chief and Bruce as the second ship to be included. And Tim Simping for Katrina. (Cortana 2.0 from Infinite)
I see these possible dynamics being cute as Chief will learn how to be human, and how to love. Him and Team Phantom Finding Family. Also I don't mean the bull Chief pulled in the god awful Halo TV Show!
Bruce will learn that killing isn't an act of God. It isn't you kill once, and become a mindless murderer. That there is a difference, between a Soldier doing his duty to protect humanity and his loved ones. And a mindless killer, enjoying the horror of its victims as the bleed out with please for mercy. Effectively stealing their innocent lives... Oh also learn to not be as emotionally constipated after Katrina effectively out smarts him into a therapy session with Jazz Nightingale. (Last name changed after she saved Danny from the their parents lab…)
Danny will learn what it means to be apart of a family. And how screwed the GIW are.~
Jason, finds out he’s ghost pregnant and a heavy underdeveloped Halfa. All while the Pit becomes a full ghost that he ends up birthing. Which is gonna be a Dinosaur that will be Jason’s “Nightmare.” To his Fright Knight. (I am really wanting to go for Altispinax, or Spinax Vivosaur from Fossil Fighters series. But idk, might just use the Giga from Jurassic World Dominion. Just to change it up from what I seen people have the Pits become.
How Chief comes into the story however, would be introduced via Clockwork leaving a very obviously placed Halo Infinite Xbox Game case with a unmarked disc inside it. In an Alley Danny was taking refuge in. With a sticky note of course. And a few chapters in, when he was alone in Wayne Manor decided to play the game. And by Play. I mean go ghost and jump into the game. But of course. With his Fabulous Phantom Luck (trademark pending.) A new power began to make itself known as the code latched on him on his way out. Bringing Master Chief and Katrina to life in the real world, with all his memories and Katrina with the entire UNSC Database.)
While that’s how I plan to bring in Chief and Co. the main gist of this will be an all out battle, to destroy the GIW. Outlaws, Sirens, Chief and the entire Batfam Team up.
Despite the JL repealing the Anti Ecto Acts. A few Private donors continue to find them to get their hands on Ectoplasm. The League of Assassin’s, Lex Luthor. And of Course Vlad Masters will be the main villains connected to the GIW.
I can see Jason and Chief getting along like wildfire. And when Bruce finds out Jason is one leading the squad his kids, trying to get them to go on a date with Master Chief. It leads to some funny moments I would think. And of course can’t forget Chief reluctantly surprise appearance in Civies at one of Bruce’s Gala’s. (I kinda wanna make him wear Olive Green suit and dress pants. Black Bow Tie with a white under suit. Black belt. And an Olive Green Military Cap to hide his Neural Implant. Maybe having all his Medals from the service pinned to his chest. At least the ones that match ones in this universe. So not all of them obviously.
And Jason would absolutely catch his father freeze up when he sees the handsome Spartan.
For looks regarding Chief’s face since we don’t know what he looks like. I was thinking Caucasian Male, short brown hair that could be the right height to spike it up at least. Not a complete buzz cut. Rather bright blue eyes. That do not glow like Danny’s. But at least around that color. Of course he will have some scars on his left Temple, his lip and across his right eye. Freckles too. His muscle mass would of course be a bit more built then Jason. Which says something. But, you know. Super Soldier and all. (Update: I did in-fact Draw it ^^. If you want to see. Let me know if you wanna see Master Chief in a suit at the Gala ^^)
The Ages I was gonna go for was as follows.
Alfred: Immortal (Thanks Clockwork!)
John (Master Chief): 46yrs (I know it’s not his cannon Age. But it’s what I want for the story.)
Bruce: 45yrs
Barbara: 29yrs
Dick: 26yrs
Jazz: 21yrs
Jason: 21yrs
Cass: 20yrs
Sam: 20yrs
Danny: 19yrs
Duke: 19yrs
Steph: 19yrs
Tucker: 19yrs
Val: 19yrs
Tim: 18yrs
Ellie: 14yrs
Damien: 12yrs
Katrina: 6 months old
And that’s the little Fanfic I been thinking about. Of course it’s just an idea. but I think it would be fun to write.

[slams hands on the table]
i cannot believe it took me so long to realize this
but if you watch jurassic park while interpreting alan grant and ellie sattler being t4t, shit lines up so well.
of course there's the parallels to the dinosaurs changing their sex, and that being explicitly tied to the theme of "life finds a way," but there's also character elements that just SING when ellie and alan are viewed as trans.
alan's revulsion towards having kids? that's easily dysphoria related to motherhood. both in the sense of dysphoria around his body and being pregnant, but also in the sense of gender roles. afab people are "supposed" to want kids. afab folks are "supposed" to have their identity tied to raising the next generation.
actively rejecting kids is for alan a coping mechanism. not a good or healthy one, but it absolutely fits with pressures he may have grown up with. and it fits with how some transmasc folks will lean hard into toxic masculinity to find some form of gender affirmation and have to course correct.
furthermore! both ellie and alan's interactions with ian take on a whole new flavor through the trans lens.
the flirtations of this cis man could be gender affirmation for ellie and a threat to alan's own sense of his masculinity.
it also adds a layer to alan's protectiveness of ellie in regards to ian. this movie takes place in a time period where alan and ellie would have to be very careful about passing. where ian would land on trans acceptance is an unknown to alan and ellie in the first movie.
also if alan got bottom surgery or just was very adamant about never being pregnant due to the dysphoria.... the line from jurassic world: dominion... "do you have kids?"/"well, i do."/"but not with him?"
mmmmhmhmhmhmhmmmmmm TRANS
now alan was one of my earliest gender envy experiences, so my focus is on him. but there's so many gendered lines from ellie that i'm SURE can be read from the transfemme experience.

few things bother me quite as much as claire being called owen’s love interest. it’s degrading. claire is clearly the main character of the trilogy, which is clear with any amount of analysis of the story’s structure. owen is HER love interest.
jurassic world opens up with her. it’s her family teasing her introduction, then it’s us following her day to day life. owen’s introduced through her. “I know who he is” she says with clear animosity. then, after we learn who he is, owen is brought into the story through her. she asks him to inspect the paddock with her. had this not happened, he would be irrelevant to the story until the third act. claire would not, because we’re following her perspective.
owen then leaves the story again when claire refuses to evacuate. he’s brought back into it again when claire decides she wants his help saving her nephews. claire is the driving force of the plotline ergo the main character. she is the one with an arc because the plot is her story of regaining humanity with love for the dinosaurs and her family. owen is there to back up this message by adding romantic love. his narrative is an extension of her overarching story being told.
in fallen kingdom, who’s perspective are we following? claire’s. owen is brought back into the story once again as a partner for her mission. zia and franklin are HER team. the dinosaurs are HER redemption. eli is HER betrayer. it all revolves around her as the main character of this story. without her influence, he wouldn’t be on the island. but we’d still be following her mission there.
which dynamic is more focused on in dominion? claire and maisie’s. because again, it’s her story. but this time it’s her and maisie’s shared story. it’s ultimately maisie taking the torch from her mother and starting a new narrative from the closure of claire’s. owen’s story is an extension of theirs as a co-parent of maisie and romantic partner of claire. it’s claire and maisie’s world and he’s playing their narrative backup.
the different between claire being his love interest vs owen being her love interest is the dichotomy of something every action movie does and something more fresh and interesting (no matter how questionably it can be handled by things like marketing or merchandise) for the genre. which baffles me to why you’d want to assume it’s something more boring than it textually is

jurassic park is trending (omg no fuckibg way????) and it got me thinkin about my undying love for the franchise, as well as my general love for those 90s universal movies. the ride at hollywood, the merch, and it’s general affect on pop culture.
and I have to say.
The franchise lost the moment it realized it could be a big movie monster franchise.
Tumblr media
with a couple of exceptions, there was so much reverence in the way jurassic 1 handled the behavior and the nature of the dinosaurs, treating them as amoral creatures locked in turmoil as the park falls apart, and we are simply caught in the midst of the chaos.
Tumblr media
jp2 doesn’t do too much disservice to the way the dinosaurs are treated, still being forces of nature. sure they don’t do much new or give a different perspective on the nature of theropods instead of instantly antagonizing them, but the hatchling plot was cool. also, we got that iconic scene at the end. you know the one.
Tumblr media
it starts to get muddled with jp 3, with the entire climax hinging on the big battle between mama rex and the spinosaurus, with added elements of humor that serves to further demystify the dinosaurs, entering campier territory.
then came Jurassic world.
Tumblr media
while Jurassic World no doubt reinvigorated interest, it was the nail in the coffin for the opportunity for Jurassic Park truly to come back the way it did. it was almost wwa, the way that dinosaurs were simply setup to showdown at the very end, teaching the audience since the third one that this was what you are to look forward to, along with your classic escape the dinosaurs plot. it truly sealed its fate as a blockbuster, answering genuinely interesting questions (ethics of cloning, whether they really are dinosaurs or simply monsters, etc.) and addressing interesting concepts (indominous, Feathered DINOSAURS DOMINION!!!!!!!) with such a juvenile attitude, merely meant to appeal to a “general majority” who (they assume [wrongly]) that simply want to see dinosaurs on the big screen. if you cater to a supposed audience, all you will be looking at is simply confirmation bias. Movies like Barbie prove that people are still interested in political, social and cultural rhetoric and systems being addressed and talked about in franchised media, and yet…
jurassic park can’t seem to take itself seriously anymore. they don’t even animate the dinosaurs very convincingly anymore.
but hey. atleast the new ride at universal Hollywood is good. little bit of pacing issues but, hey. better than the sorry state it was before

Owen’s Solo Mission (Teaser)
Set in between the events of Fallen Kingdom and Dominion, Owen Grady is trying to find a way to keep himself and his new family of Claire and Maisie safe. When a mysterious note appears on his doorstep offering assistance in helping protect them, Owen secretly heads out to meet with the sender.
Tumblr media
When Owen Grady first took up the position as a Velociraptor trainer at Jurassic World, the former Navy man didn’t have a shred of admiration towards the formerly-extinct dinosaurs. Although he vehemently turned down the prospect of militarizing the dinosaurs to use in the field, Owen still found himself not really embracing the concept of becoming the alpha of the four raptors that he trained. This however changed though after the events of Isla Nublar, when only one of Owen’s raptors (a female named Blue) survived and stayed on the island after all of the humans were evacuated.
Upon returning back to the island at a later date to find and rescue Blue and several other dinosaurs from the now-active volcano that would completely decimate the island, Owen found himself slowly growing more protective of his favorite raptor and dinosaurs in general. This was most certainly assisted by his renewed relationship with Claire Dearing, who turned her life around after the events that occurred on Isla Nublar. Once a ruthless businesswoman who ran the park with an iron fist, Claire now found herself becoming a self-less activist trying to save all of the remaining dinosaurs from the volcano.
After defeating not only the Indominous Rex but also the Indoraptor, Owen and Claire’s pseudo-family with Blue further expanded upon “adopting” Maisie, who was orphaned upon the death of her guardian during the events of the Indoraptor’s rampage. While the Indoraptor was going on its aforementioned rampage, several of the saved Isla Nublar dinosaurs were quickly sold off to countries and militias all across the globe to further line the pockets of greedy businessmen. However, many dinosaurs still faced extinction due to a gas leak in the basement of the dinosaur sanctuary where the sale was taking place. This quickly changed due to Maisie’s actions. Having recently discovered that she herself was a clone of her guardian Benjamin Lockwood’s deceased daughter, the girl began to empathize with the dinosaurs. With this in mind, the genetically engineered girl opted to free the remaining dinosaurs into the California wilderness to have a fighting chance at survival.
In the time since the dinosaurs spread across the continental United States or arrived at their new locations across the globe, Owen and Claire had found themselves trying their best to care for the still-grieving Maisie after the death of her grandfather Benjamin. While Claire continued her activism by working at the Dinosaur Protection Group, Owen relocated Maisie to a cabin in the woods of California to prevent anyone from finding the cloned girl and using her for genetic experiments to find out how to continue cloning more humans.
Due to his constant efforts of trying to prevent anyone from taking advantage of Maisie, Owen had quickly found himself growing incredibly protective to the point where he truly cared for the young girl. As such, when a note mysteriously showed up on the cabin’s doorstep one morning with the promise of helping provide “reinforcements” to protect Maisie, Owen was quick to accept the invitation. After convincing Claire to come to the cabin for a few days to stay with Maisie while he “went to meet up with some old Navy friends”, the hunky man quickly headed out to go meet the mysterious individual.
Upon arriving that next night at the location listed on the note (a dilapidated house near the California-Mexico border), Owen tapped into the skills he’d gathered during his time in the military and cautiously approached the house before making a slow entry. As he slowly walked around the creaky old house with his gun drawn, Owen was quick to call out for anyone there to slowly make their way into the large foyer so he could see who sent the note. As he suddenly began to hear the sound of squeaky wheels grow louder, Owen quickly directed his flashlight in the direction of the noise. Upon seeing who the individual was, Owen was unable to prevent his jaw from dropping...

Everyone seems to hate on Jurassic World Dominion, but let me tell you why i think it was a good movie:
(Spoiler Warning!)
First of all lets just start saying it was NOT that Bad as everyone seems to think. The overload, the many side plots, sure, that was not good. But lets focus on the things that made the movie good (in my unrequired opinion):
- First of all; the cinemagratophy. Chefs kiss. Amazing Shots, amazing scenery, amazing Pictures i could Look at for hours.
-The parallels; this movie gave us so many nostalgic Jurassic Park parallels. The dinosaurs (dilophosaurus), the dialogs, the costumes and much more. Which also leads to my next point.
-nostalgia; probably the main reason why this movie was good! Hit right in the feels to see the golden trio back for their last adventure. They definetly carried the movie with their presence and dynamic.
-acting; this might be where opinions will part but i was satisfied. In my opinion it improved a lot to the other movies. I also was positively surprised by Isabella Sermons Performance!
-the dinosaurs; this is my main point why JW3 was a great movie. Imo its not about the Park feeling, the corrupt gene technology and whatever they want to make a storyline. The dinosaurs will always be the heart of these movies and damn my heart was happy! We got to see so many different dinosaurs in a natural (not fenced!!) habitat and it was everything. New, refreshing yet scary dinosaurs along with the old favorites Like Blue and Rexy was just perfect.
-the critical perspective: i enjoyed how they built up the triology to the extreme outcome where corporations abuse the power of gene technology. It had its climax in the last movie and showed how bad capitalism and gene technology work together. I liked these hinted or shown moments of critics to our existing system that believes in profit, not humanity!
-my last point: how it ended. I know many people wished for more scenes about how the dinosaurs would have affected our everyday Life and how it Changed the world. But what they did was very clever: they gave us enough scenes/shots to figure it out on our own, without being unhappy about an forced, maybe even dramatic ending. We can take the end however we want to imagine a world full of dinosaurs now.
I can understand why movie critics want to tear JW3 apart so badly but from the heart of a Dino nerd and Fan of the old and new triology, this movie made me happy and it deserves some fucking postive recognition!

Jurassic Park/World Spinosaurus Redesign
Tumblr media
This is my fan redesign for the Spinosaurus as portrayed in the Jurassic Park/World cinematic franchise. I wanted to combine the 1990s and modern understandings of the animal with its anatomy, basing the color scheme on that of a toy Spinosaurus released as part of the second movie’s franchise. I really wish the franchise had stuck with that color scheme from that point on.
For all the flaws that all of Jurassic Park‘s sequels have, Jurassic Park III has and still remains the only one I flat out dislike. Partly this is due to the rushed running length, the storytelling being even more subpar than the rest of the sequels, and what I saw as pointless, inexplicable, and not really more accurate redesigns for the Velociraptor and Pteranodon. However, my biggest pet peeve was how it portrayed the Spinosaurus.
It was all well and good to have a new, lesser-known theropod borrow the spotlight as the main antagonist for a Jurassic Park sequel, but even back in the late 90s to early 2000s, we have figured out that Spinosaurus was a specialized piscivore related to the smaller Baryonyx, and therefore would not have been as well-adapted to bringing down large prey as Tyrannosaurus or Giganotosaurus. Had the whole movie leaned more on Spinosaurus’s aquatic attributes by having all its scenes set in the waterways and wetlands of Isla Sorna instead of portraying it as nothing more than a “bigger and badder” version of the T. rex, it could have stood out more as a different type of dinosaurian antagonist, and we tyrannosaur fans would have been spared some serious grief from seeing our favorite prize fighter of antiquity upstaged by an ill-equipped fish-eater.
If they really had to have the Spinosaurus fight the T. rex in JP3, I would have placed the fight at the very end. The moment Grant and the Kirby family reached the beach on their way to being rescued, the Spinosaurus could have lumbered from a nearby estuary to attack them one last time. Then the T. rex, hitherto absent, could have charged out from the jungle, deliver a bone-crushing bite or two to the Spinosaurus after some struggle, and roared in triumph over its kill while the heroes got on the helicopters to escape. Then, even with its other flaws, the movie would have been much more passable.
On a more positive note, at least what we got instead made the ending of Jurassic World, with the T. rex ultimately managing to mop the floor with the Indominus rex even if she had not inflicted the killing blow, all that much more cathartic for me. The T. rex/Giganotosaurus conflict in Dominion was lame though, especially the implication that it was a rematch after their ancestors fought on Socotra back in the Late Cretaceous despite neither dinosaur having ever coexisted with one another back then.

"Your World" Franklin Webb x Reader
(A/N: I finally got another idea I could work with! I’m very picky about ideas for Franklin. He deserves all the love!
After the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Jurassic World: Dominion.
Warnings: Fluff. Pet names like sweetheart.
Word Count: 752 words)
~~~
Jurassic World. Was that what some referred to the new normal on the planet as? Deeply ironic, but hit the point. Genetically modified dinosaurs roamed the earth.
Your world, your life had changed more than ever. Dinosaurs, environments, warnings, food, and love. The latter seemed to have affected you more so. Love opened your eyes to feelings and advised you on the world’s changes.
The opening of the front door startled you only for a second.
Right on time. No accidents. You thought in relief. Just him.
At the sound of shoes being removed, you stood from your desk area and headed towards the sounds.
Bubbling excitement filled your chest as you got closer. It was difficult not to; your best friend was home. Your love.
As you rounded the corner, Franklin’s sweet brown eyes were already looking your way. Expecting you and waiting.
“Hey sweetheart, welcome back.”
Meeting in the middle, the two of you embraced warmly. His arms snug around your waist.
“I missed you.” Franklin kissed your lips, savoring the feelings brought on by being home safe with you.
“Mmhmm.” You pressed your lips to his nose, chin, and jaw before making your way to his neck. “Missed you too.” Your fingers ran over his hair. “How was work?”
“Busy.” He murmured as he tilted his neck, hands moving lower.
One word answers were usually a long, tiring story too heavy to fully recall. Relating to his new job, it was bound to be a handful.
You pulled back and took a better look at Franklin’s face. Noticing the strain in his eyes left from many hours in front of a screen, made your expression fall.
“How long has it been since you last laid eyes on a screen?” You questioned, eyeing the bag slung over his shoulder.
Franklin exhaled. He knew where the question was leading.
“You just checked your phone?”
“Yeah. I did…” He answered truthfully.
“You need a break. It’s basically a rule.”
The corner of his lips curled up.
“And how long have you been behind your desk?”
Oh, uh. Your thoughts hesitated any reply. Hours.
“It’s basically a rule.” He restated your words. “And if one of us is going to follow it,” he placed his hands on your hips and guided you to walk backwards, “we both should.”
“That’s fair.” Your fingers laced together behind his neck.
With each step, you trusted him to lead where you could not see. Just as he trusted you to protect him from what he did not wish to see.
His route was heading in the direction of the couch. A safe space. One of memories and hopes for new ones each day.
“Do you have any plans for this break of ours?”
Franklin’s lips pulled into a grin.
“Ohh.” You giggled.
I’m going to be sandwiched between him and the couch or vice versa.
Having reached the specific piece of furniture, he released you to drop his bag to the floor.
You on the other hand, flopped back onto the couch cushions happily.
“So, how long is our break?” Franklin questioned as he climbed over you gingerly. “Half an hour?”
“Half an hour at least.”
Conscious of himself, he laid with you on the couch. Only mostly on top of you.
Eagerness to spend time with your partner led you to wrapping him in an embrace once again. Letting him tuck his head beside yours and soaking in all the genuine love you had for one another. You two being that close, both physically and emotionally, was one of your favorite parts of life with Franklin.
A kiss was pressed to the corner of your mouth.
“I’m proud of you,” you whispered. “You’re sharing your wonderful self to help others.”
“Thank you.” Franklin kissed you again.
“Islands, dinosaurs, questionable motives involving DNA—you’re still my tech babe.”
He groaned.
“Tech babe,” you repeated.
“Out of any other nickname,” he sighed.
“Yup.”
You smiled proudly.
He chuckled softly and said, “At least you don’t say it publicly.”
“True and they might get intimidated by your awesomeness.”
“I doubt it.”
“Never doubt your skills.”
“I don’t…just the effect of the nickname.”
Kissing his nose, you declared, “That’s why I reserve it just for you.”
A smile reappeared on his face. Gaze soft as he looked upon you.
“What?” You questioned his expression quietly.
“You’re my world…you know that, right?”
“I do.” You rubbed his back soothingly. “And you’re my world, Franklin. Always remember that.”
“I will.”
~~~
Best wishes and happy reading.)
