I don’t know how to write the cool, quippy Tumblr Way™️
My brain says anything I write needs to have a compelling intro, girthy middle and thorough conclusion. Plus my autism says I have to include every fringe thought so everyone understands every detail of what I’m trying to say.

Todays Word Of The Day is: Circumlocution
Circumlocution originates from the Latin circumlocutio(a roundabout expression). English usage of the word began in the 16th century.

what's a hee-hoo?
This is a long story:
On September 11, 1987 the game "Digital-Devil-Saga: Megami Tensei " released on the Nintendo-FamiCom in Japan as one of the first JRPGs in existence and also the moment the "Shin Megami Tensei " franchise was born! The sequel " Digital-Devil-Saga: Megami Tensei II " which was released April 06, 1990 in Japan then sported the original depiction of the Character known as " Yoma: Jack Frost "... This character stems from English folklore as a snow-elf which brings winter and cold!
Tumblr media
Since even tho I am a giant nerd I do not know much about the original depiction nor the character iteration presented in "Digital-Devil-Saga: Megami Tensei II "
On October 30, 1992 the game "Shin Megami Tensei " released for the Super-FamiCom in Japan, now donning the new and iconic look! He also got a new name as "Fairy: Jack Frost "...
Tumblr media
This new look has become iconic and stayed the same in every following game (as far as I know) the same with peppering his sentences with the phrase hee-ho...
Tumblr media
On October 30, 2014 the game "Shin Megami Tensei IV " released on the Nintendo-3DS eShop marking my first contact and furthermore love for the whole franchise/family of games... This entry of course had Jack Frost again as part of the Fairy-Race...
Tumblr media
Following many years and a couple of scrapped Tumblr accounts later I started my Tumblr-journey anew... Now myself needing an Avatar and character to portray, mixing whimsy, silliness and general chaotic energy I came to the "unofficial" official mascot of Atlus which is fittingly also a character I deeply adore! After going back and forth and a bit of my own idiocy I misspelled the catchphrase of my oh-so-adored whimsical Fairy...
Tumblr media
In conclusion, a mix of deep adoration and my general stupidity mangled a legendary catch-phrase into the "hee-hoo " often encountered on my blog...

Even over-explaining doesn't guarantee understanding anyway

I recently convinced a friend I hate her fiance by over explaining that I don't want her to take my advice (waiting to have her wedding until they figure out some stuff about their future and yadayada) as me saying I don't think she should get married at all.
😭 Foot in mouth disease man. I just want them to know what state they wanna live in before walking down the aisle I promise he's fine. 🤌
Autistic brain really is like, "you have to overexplain so there is absolutely zero chance for misinterpretation"

I have an oversharing/overexplaining problem because I always feel like I need ppl to understand me 100% and I know I'm not very good at making my point clear because I often stray to other topics so I need to say all my points at once so it makes sense, also I get annoyed at people saying like one sentence and it doesn't clear things up so I don't know if I'm supposed to meet my class at the room with the faces or at the space center (field trip to the museum of natural history)
This was not intended to be an example but oh well

THIS.
SO VERY MUCH THIS.
also responding to every piece of someone's words. i do it to check that i understand what that person is saying and to make sure they know i'm genuinely listening and not tuning them out.
there are some autistic “traits” that people find really annoying but that are inherently kind

Multiplication and division are the same level of priority. Similarly addition and subtraction are the same level of priority.
Your 3rd step
8÷2(4) ...
8÷(8) distributive property/multiply
Is performing the right most multiplication, but mathematics is taught to do math of similar priority from left to right.
My proof
8÷2(2+2) given
4(2+2) Multiplication / Division left to right
(8+8) Distribution property / Multiplication 4*2 & 4*2
(16) Addition / subtraction left to right
I skipped doing the parenthesis first cause I thought it would be funny, but to show it doesn't change...
8÷2(2+2) given
8÷2(4) parenthesis / addition / subtraction left to right
4(4) multiplication / division left to right
16 multiplication / division left to right
Note: we can't do a basic distributive property first, because of the way the numbers are connected. But with some funkyness we can distribute first.
8÷2(2+2) given
(8÷2*2+8÷2*2) distributive property
(4*2+8÷2*2) multiplication / division left to right
(8+8÷2*2) multiplication / division left to right
(8+4*2) multiplication / division left to right
(8+8) multiplication / division left to right
(16) addition / subtraction left to right
Hope this can clear up some confusion: )
8÷2(2+2) = 1 and you all are stupid
P = parentheses
E = exponent
M = multiply
D = divide
A = add
S = subtract
My proof
8÷2(2+2) given
8÷2(4) Parentheses
8÷(8) distributive property/multiply
8÷8 = 1 divide
anyone who said 16 needs to go back to 7th grade
