When you first arrived, everyone could tell something was different , but not about you. No, you were just as terrified and confused as they all had been upon arrival. There was something very different about Caine.

He was as loud as every, happy go lucky and oddly charming. But when it came to you he almost had a darker gleam in his eye. That said to the others to keep their distance. Of course it was brushed off with a silly jest or undeniably loud exclaim, but everyone saw through the cracks. Especially Jax. Though few spoke up about it.

Jax would often call you Caine's lapdog or boot licker.

Oddly enough the next day a few gloinks had been reported swiping Jax's mouth clean off his face, he was chasing them for hours even. Caine couldn't be found to fix the situation until the late hours of the night.

Possessive!Caine would cater to your needs a little too closely, even giving you hints during the adventures to make it easier. No, so you won't have to depend on anyone but him.

He'd make you sit on his lap when no one else is around, holding you snugly by the waist as he talked about absolutely nothing to past the time. You swear you feel his gloved hands moving lower each time.

Possessive!Caine would most certainly watch you sleep. If i wasn't one his "all seeing eyes," tucked somewhere discretely in your room , then it was him in the flesh. Standing oddly still at the foot of your bed as you laid with your eyes closed, getting sleep, you technically didn't even need. His hand twitching at his side.

Oh, and how adorable it would be if you tried to resist his constant hovering and closeness.

"Oh, you must misunderstand, my dearest y/n! You wouldn't make it ten feet out of the tent without my guidance. But I can't blame you. What would that pretty little head of yours know anyway?" His voice was joyful and animated as ever, but his eyes told a completely different story. His gaze was the chain around your ankle, daring you to cross a boundary he didn't like and to see what happened when you did.

Simple observation I made from reading these comics. DC, stop making their dad an asshole and make him hug them more.

Also, the hugs in these comics:

Tim's hug is not in Red Robin but it's during the run and when Bruce comes back in time.

Cass' hug is weird because they're suicidal freaks who think fighting is therapy. They fought while being drugged, and blew up a brigde. It makes sense for them only.

Jason's first hug (Outlaws) is after he tries to apologize for his crimes and Bruce refuses to let him to do it, because his boy is innocent for him 🥺 (and then, they fucked it up with Ethiopia because they cannot let them have nice things 🙄). The second one (Red Hood & Arsenal) is started by Jason, who is just very happy to see that Bruce is alive, even if he has lost his memory.
