For the ace/yuu/malleus love triangle theory imagine how jealous ace will feel after finding out that yuu danced with malleus and DEUCE lmao

he wasn't allowed to be in the masquerade event because it would have literally killed him. just absolutely put him in the ground. first Malleus and Yuu essentially just go on a date in a scenic campus wearing fancy clothes. okay, nothing he can compete with, but nothing out of the norm, either. then, there's a crisis and some weirdo with a bowl-cut threatens to kill you all. still not totally out of the ordinary, but it somehow ties into Malleus hyper-specific personal trauma which is a little unfair but not that weird considering how stuff tends to go down in this game. then, it somehow devolves into a party again and Malleus not only dances with Yuu, but also performs an entire pre-rehearsed song with romantic subtext before pulling you into a walz, which he knows how to do because he's literally a prince. how is Ace, a chronic Normal Dude, supposed to compete with that. what is he supposed to do. the Deuce thing almost seems like a blessing in disguise because at least you're still, like, touching other guys. he wouldn't be if he was in your situation but he's glad that you are.

Leona was settled on your lap, as you fiddled around with his hair.. it would have bothered Leona, but he let you as you pleased, your touch was rather comforting, and stress relieving. It felt as though all his problems would disappear, when he's with you like this.. The soft praises you whisper makes him all soft and gushy inside, a feeling he wasn't quite familiar with.. he hoped you didn't notice.. Leona disliked looking weak.. especially to you.. He'd be beyond embarrassed if you told him you noticed his little grin, and the way his tail would move in excitement, while you pet him.

It was a rather amusing sight, Leona's tail moving around in excitement and his ears perking up and moved ever so slightly, rhythm in sync with all your movements, touches, and compliments. Your praise was the biggest ego booster for this lion.

Leona closed his eyes for a bit, trying to sleep. The way your hands moved, ruffling his hair, every soft touch lulling him to sleep. Yet his senses overloaded, the moment you leaned down, and pressed two soft kisses on his ears, the feeling lingered, as he felt his ears tingle with heat.. He was flustered.. And if that wasn't enough, his tail started wagging aggressively.. He was sure he could hear you giggling right about now.. "What are you laughing at herbivore!"

You entered the room, Azul was working on some sort of paperwork, as always.. Nothing out of the usual.. but your precious octopus, has been rather busy lately.. you were afraid he was overworking himself, It was at this point that Azul noticed your presence, as he turned to smile at you, flashing you a rather tired grin. You sighed, knowing full well he wasn't planning to rest anytime soon.. "How was your day today love?" Azul asked, his voice was less energetic then usual, "It was good.. I suppose.. How about you?" you asked, as you made your way towards him, carefully sitting on his lap, "Your not overworking yourself, are you?" you asked..

"Of course not!" he said, focusing his attention on you, as he slowly moved his arms around your waist, making sure you were comfortable in the position you were in. "hmm, but you should get some rest, K?" you carefully grabbed his face, pulling it towards you, you watched as his face tinted red ever so slightly, as he hesitated to answer.. He never liked lying to you, nor did he enjoy making false promises to you.. "Fine.." Azul complied with a sigh.

"Do you promise?" you asked, moving a tad bit closure, as your eyes stared straight into his. Causing him to grow slightly nervous. He stuttered ever so slightly, no matter how long the two of you were together, he could never grow completely used to the closeness between you two.. "I-i promise"

You grinned, as he finally complied to your words, you pulled him closer leaning in, and just before your lips touched, you leaned down and kissed his beauty mark. "See you later tonight!" you winked as you left a very flustered and tired octopus in his office.. 'What am I going to do with you' Azul thought, as the door finally closed.

You were settled on Malleus's lap, as he rambled on and on, about his favorite subject.. Gargoyles! You were half mindedly listening, focusing more on fiddling around with his hair, admiring his features.. After all, it's not always you get to have such a close up view of the fae prince.. though if you asked you would be able too..

Malleus, went on to explain some random facts about Gargoyles in, in-depth detail. You hummed at everything he said, making sure he didn't feel ignored, when you had an idea.. "Malleus what's your favorite Gargoyle again?" you asked, the question was rather controversial, you know this conversation wouldn't end any time soon.. but.. you had an idea! "Well I quite really have a Gargoyle I favor.. but —" .. He continued on and on about the subject, when you suddenly started rubbing his horns.

Malleus got a bit flustered, the action was rather unexpected, he tripped over his words ever so slightly, if you looked down, you could see just how red the man was. You proceeded to take things up a notch' by coming a bit closer, and leaving soft lingering kisses on his horns. An action, that is guaranteed to shut your poor lover up..

When you were finished with messing with your prince, you lowered yourself down to his level, and gave him a big hug. "Malleus?" you poked him in the cheek.. The man looked stunned and flustered.. 'I guess he's still processing things..' you thought, as you giggled..

The two of you were in your early stages of a relationship, and needless to say your lover is quite easily flustered by your actions.

Lilia had told you that he couldn't find Silver, the two of you had gotten together a couple months ago, and Lilia suggested that maybe you should go out and find Silver, since you seemed to know his favorite sleeping spots well. Somehow that convinced you to go and look for Silver by yourself.

Walking around the forests of NRC, you found Silver sound asleep, leaning ever so comfortably on the tree. 'He looks so beautiful'.. He looked very comfortable.. You almost forgot why you were here! You were supposed to wake Silver up! Though you could have just simply nudged him and called out for him.. you had other ideas... Comfortably sitting beside Silver, you leaned in.. and for a second you paused with your movements. Taking in his features.. 'He looked lovely' you nudged your head, mumbling under your breath to focus.

You leaned in and gave Silver a kiss, Silver was quite sensitive to movement, that seemed foreign.. especially in his sleep. It didn't take long for him to carefully open his eyes, as he made eye contact with you.. "It's time to wake up love.."

First, I want to say, despite the salt exhibited at the end of this, I actually am really enjoying this event. Lots of material for laughs and Cater is as iconic as ever. And since the Rook card isn’t included this time, I can save even more gems for Vil’s birthday. Even more of a win!

Wait a minute, the first chapter of this stated that Beans Day is in February. Does MC still not know who Malleus is at this point? Isn’t there a Halloween event where they interact as well? So when does MC find out Tsunataro’s identity? Does it happen in chapter 4 maybe? Actually, no. NO ONE answer this. I MEAN IT! I want to be surprised.

If it isn’t Rook’s Beans Day card I don’t wanna hear it, Idia. 

You’re guess is as good as mine. Poor Yuulan better go find Malleus for protection before Cater get’s both their asses caught!

Okay! Okay, this right here? This really pisses me off. Like SERIOUSLY pisses me off and let me explain why. 

I’m really enjoying this event, but I honestly didn’t think we’d get another event so soon after the cooking one, especially something reasonably big as Beans Day. BUT I didn’t realize that we’d be getting the story bits in parts like with the main story. Was this a thing in JP as well? Even if it was, I really feel like if they were going to do this they might as well begin dropping chapter 4.

At this point, ‘s safe to say that we will not be getting any of chapter 4 before this month is over, especially if this event is going to be 2 weeks long. So my idea that they would begin dropping chapter 5 in time for Vil’s birthday seems unlikely to happen too. I can live with that BUT I read a rumor over twitter that we MIGHT be getting Lyre-less Brawl in April as well! Which means I now have to save for SR Rook AND Vil’s birthday card and no matter what I go for, I will have noting left for when the Pomefiore SSR’s get a rate up when their chapter drops. 

Meanwhile JP is getting the last of chapter 6 very soon, like sometime this week and if they release info for chapter 7, it will be over for me, with my Malleus-simping ass.

As much as I’m enjoying Beans Day, I’m a little wary of all these events so soon with little breathing room in between. I’ve been pretty lucky so far being able to get most of the cards I want in 5 pulls or less with some doubles but my luck can’t last for long. Plus I can’t expect to avoid spoilers for too long too. 

With all that in mind, I’ve decided that, if there is no main story update by Easter Monday, I will cease being EN-only and begin reading chapter 4 and 5 on youtube. Can anyone suggest a good channel where I can find translations? I’d greatly appreciate it. <3

At last! I’ve finished Heir Of Fire

This one took me forever to read.

And it’s not because it’s longer— while yes, I did usually finish the other books in like a week and they were shorter, this one I just got so unmotivated to read because it felt like it was going nowhere in the beginning.

And I mean, it was, but since Celaena had to do things less action based— and so did the rest of the gang— it felt like not too much was going on :,)

BUT! I just read 300 pages yesterday and the last 40 this morning and it’s done and over with, so now time for my thoughts n feels.

Overall it was a good book, like I said it was definitely less action-based which was different than the last few books. And it wasn’t bad or anything— the pacing was good, I’m just impatient lol.

I was really happy they developed more of the fae part of the world, magic is one of my absolute favourite things to read about and it was cool seeing how to overcome it and all.

Rowan originally really reminded me of Chaol (because of how he was introduced lol), which kinda made me think he’d end up with Celaena for some reason. They didn’t, kinda disappointed but ah well.

Otherwise he’s a really cool character and it was interesting seeing the layers to his emotions over his lifetime. The rest of the bunch at Mistward were also great, they’re all so wholesome must protect.

Not gonna lie, the whole mate thing and the fact that Celaena was 19 and Rowan hundreds of years old kinda put me off— maybe it’s a good thing they didn’t end up together lol.

Oh, and again with the creepiness! SJM is always great at creeping me out with the creatures and the way she writes them; now I get to add skinwalkers and the valg princes onto my list of nightmares, what fun :D

Manon’s pov was really cool to read about. Again, was nice learning about more magical beings amd the witches really interest me— especially after what the crochan witch had said near the end— but it was a bit meh to read at times because it didn’t actively relate to the plot that was going on then and there.

I found Manon’s arc catching. I liked how you see her so mercilessly hunting crochan witches to eventually be offered one and not hesitate, but question. Question if she should really be doing this, if she was wrong because of the ways she was raised and if she did in fact have a heart.

Sorscha! My girl, I love you. I was so sad when she died because I was hoping that if in the far future she became queen, she’d prove herself wrong and develop in that sense. But unfortunately I was wrong :,) I actually really liked her as a character though, it was refreshing after all the strong-headed women like Celaena and Manon. Rip 🙏

Dorian. My boy, my poor poor boy. Imagine seeing your lover get their head chopped off right then and there. Ouch. I’m honestly surprised he didn’t burn the place to the grown (or rather freeze) but he’s not Celaena so makes sense lol.

Oh and Dorian didn’t say ily back to Chaol AHAHAHA. Still though, best bros.

As for Chaol, w ow. He did a lot more behind the scenes in this, and it was interesting because, while he did ‘betray’ everyone, he simultaneously stayed loyal by staying true to his beliefs. So don’t beat yourself up, cap. I’m really surprised he brought Fleetfoot with him though. I know there’s some emotional baggage and stuff with that dog, but it’s a d o g. Not very inconspicuous.

Yo what if once they leave Adarlan the dog turns out to be a of fae descent and the dog is her other skin— haha jk... unless

I like that we’re finally going back to Arobynn Hamel, I’ve been waiting to meet him since book 1.

The flashbacks were fun to read, makes the king even more of a jerk :))

Aedion made me laugh quite a few times. I’m surprised anyone can hold on against their enemy for so long. Makes me wish he really does end up escaping and finding Celaena. Family reunion guys come on :(

Also why did I get the slightest feeling that Ren and Aedion had a thing going on LOL. Maybe it’s just me. Honestly, Aedion is way too much of a simp for Celaena to bother with those types of things.

What I’m Anticipating in Queen of Shadows:

What is Rowan gonna do? He himself said, “Or am I just going to be left to sit on ass for months”

Will Chaol give up the Eye of Elena once he sees Celaena again?

How does the King not know that his Champion has been Aelin? They look so similar???

Will Celaena be accepted with “open” arms in Adarlan or do they know who she is?

More news on Kaltain and what’s-his-face. Are they trying to escape? Have they succumbed to the dark magic?

Will the witches (or more Manon and the Thirteen) turn on the King once they realize why the men taste so bad and what he’s doing? Orrrr will they go all murder-mode and relish in the monsters at their disposal

Celaena practicing her water-type magic. I know she barely has an affinity for it, but that could be a useful skill to have

Aedion and Celaena reunion

Chaol getting over Celaena (I mean this in a kind way lol, as much as I shipped Chaol x Celaena, it’s clear it’s not happening anymore so I hope for him to move on and be at peace with that)

Luca, Emrys and Malakai not dying (I know this doesn’t count but hey they’re too precious to be involved in this)

More on Maeve. (She clearly still wants the Wyrdkeys, will she fight the King herself? Has she been secretly preparing to go against him?)

Is Dorian going to succumb to the darkness? (Please no, this boy needs to be King, I trust no other)

Hhh that was reallly long. Now I guess I’ll start Queen of Shadows then! Convenient since I have it with me already :))
