What was wrong with the name Ellen?  Why change it to Diane?  It just feels really random and pointless.  Does anyone know why?

They should've just made Diane a completely separate character than Ellen since the two of them are so vastly different.

EXACTLY, I feel the same way.  It just raises so many questions.

Just finished The Librarians and, loved it, truly, such a good show and I will be obsessing over all the characters for the foreseeable future and watching the sequel series when it comes out but I have a Bone To Pick with that season 4 finale because WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY TIME TRAVELED THE ENTIRE SEASON OUT OF EXISTANCE???

The LiTs don't meet Ezekiel's mother and go on the most sibling-coded mission of their entire lives???

The team doesn't see Flynn actively choose his family over the library, even when his literal hero is telling him to do otherwise???

They never go to the team building camp???

Cassandra never goes to that "safest town in America" place and leads an entire community to face their fear???

Stone and Ezekiel don't get possessed by the spirits of two brothers whose love for each other ended a decades-long feud in the middle of a war specifically because the brothers knew they loved each other enough to make the same choice???

JENKINS DOESN'T JOIN A DND PARTY????????

Like yeah, Eve and Flynn remember and I guess they could have told them all but you're telling me none of the other characters remember the entire SEASON??? This is like when they memory wiped Ezekiel's time loop character development away but on crack I am distraught.

Also I'm actually fascinated by Christian Kane being the only confirmed reprisal how the hell are they planning on explaining everyone else being gone and Stone only being a reoccurring character I'm so afraid

Hearing about what goes on in the vengeance saga is so funny to me. What do you mean he used a second wind bag as a jetpack. Can I imagine athena going "okay odysseus now hit the second tower" with it

Dani randomly comes across Deadman during her travels and injects him with one of her doses of ectodejecto to heal him because he is a very weak ghost. Then argues with him for letting himself waste away like that and coming to Amity Park if things don't get better. And if it's still not okay, to ask about Fenton, but be careful, Fenton CHILD!

bonus point if he was there with other heroes as part of an investigation mission and suddenly, all “normal” humans can see him. The panic that ensues can be so glorious, especially if the magical hero doesn't realize the problem himself/herself because it doesn't change anything for him/her

The Librarians: Lysa, Connor, and Charlie

I came across an article with some info about the new characters and apparently, Lysa is a scientist/mathematician, and Connor is a historian.  And I have to admit, I’m a bit disappointed because I was really hoping it’d be the girl this time who’s into literature, art, history, etc.  Also, Charlie is now the fourth female guardian after Charlene, Nicole, and Eve.  Aren’t there ever any male guardians?  Or is this some sort of “tradition” because Charlene was the first guardian?  I just wish they’d switched things up a bit more instead of using a similar formula as last time.

I also find it curious that, yet again, one librarian has all the logical left-brain interests, but no creative right-brain interests.  Why not mix it up a little and have the two sides intersect?  Why not have an artist who makes kinetic sculptures and is knowledgeable in both physics and art?  Or a veterinarian who also studies legends on mythical animals/creatures (as well as myths and literature in general.)  I just . . . I feel like they could’ve been way more creative when coming up with their skillsets and stuff.

I hate to be so negative and I’m still trying to keep an open mind until the show actually airs and we get to see these characters in action.  I’m just disappointed that I’m not as excited for this as I expected to be.  But who knows, maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised and I’ll end up really liking the characters.

Gideon would not be some suave fuckboy picking up chicks like skittles and somehow having Harrow as the person that settles her--Gideon has been starving for home and belonging since before she was born, Gideon doesn't know how to interact with strangers even if she barks out something aggressive or recites some line she's read, Gideon nearly blacks out when a girl she finds pretty implies the most minuscule of interest in her.

Gideon is also, without question, submissive when it comes to her relationships, and while she spits like a startled cat at Harrow (rightfully so, I will point out, as their relationship before Canaan House was violent and cruel and oppressive), she responds immediately and desperately to even the faintest taste of approval.

Even when we're in her head, even when we see her make some brazen statement or thought, even when she lashes out and tries to be bigger and bolder than she feels, we still see how awkward she is. She's an unsocialized teenager without peers. She's an absolute mess with no experience. She's the isolated teen who learned everything from material marked as too explicit for her a bit too young and took the scripts of them and then nearly choked on the reality of talking to a pretty girl who wasn't beating the shit out of her in a circumstance she could rightfully resent.

She sat there wanting Harrow to kiss her so bad, Nona dipped down to offer her relief that fell hollow as soon as Gideon knew it wasn't from her morbid mistress of bones. She's a performative little shit. An anxious, floundering, helpless butch who is quite literally dying to have someone use her, want her, and who doesn't know what to do with it other than artlessly throw up her feathers.
