Butterfly

Caught again in the jaws of the venus flytrap

colors swirl

the acid burns

my wings rip open

my only escape now falling apart before my eyes

i'm so alone

so helpless

my beautiful wings

my only hope

disintegrated within an instant

the acid holds me fast

Most love stories are about people who fall in love with each other . But what about the rest of us ? What about our stories? Those of us who fall in love alone. We are the victims of the one sided affair . We are the cursed of the loved ones . We are the unloved ones. The walking wounded. The handicapped without the advantage of a great parking space. Yes, you are looking at one such individual.

saturn is losing her halo

a fallen angel

of misery

saturn falling out of patterns

almost as many moons

as insecurities

saturn and her unbalanced rings

cuts off her wings

to make herself small

saturn is still an angel

but shes finding the void painful

and she cant see

saturns crushing on the stars

envious of mars

soaks in jealousy

saturn, youre still my angel

take up your halo

ill bandage your wings.

okkk waitttt is this anything i typed it up real quick and i am still sleep deprived so y'all tell me

Butterfly pt 3 I'd escaped, or so i hoped knowing that the longing would still be there knowing i'd only end up right back in your unforgiving jaw that you'd only capture me yet again after all that's happened you'd think i'd leave that i'd be older and wiser that i'd finally give up the addicting drug the dopamine that never stays though you rip open my wings i always come back believing i had a choice again and again and again caught in the jaws of the venus flytrap

I have no interest in outer space. I couldn’t begin to explain a lightyear. today, I read saturn’s rings are disappearing and couldn’t hold the tears back. every year, another layer of banded dust thins under the sun’s hot breath. even in my ambivalence, even though the planet’s shape is unlikely to change much in the years I’ll live to watch it—however slow nature’s exit, I’ll still ask for one more kiss goodbye.
