DOMESTIC (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Lucifer sees moments of domesticity between you and his brothers, and he pretends he’s not jealous of that.

He’s so incredibly busy, but he wants nothing more than quiet, tranquil moments where you can just be together without his endless list of responsibilities plaguing him.

Cleaning is a means to achieve what he likes - a tidy, well-kept home - so he does it. He doesn’t like it, but it’s necessary.

(It’s more fun if you help him, because anything is better if you’re with him.)

Cooking though? It’s a pain cooking for seven demons, especially when one of them eats enough to make it feel like he’s cooking for fifteen demons instead…

But cooking can also be relaxing, and he understands that cooking for someone you care about is a way of showing you love them.

He likes to see his family taken care of. He wants to take care of you, too.

If you spend time cooking with him in the kitchen, and he knows no one is around to watch interrupt, don’t be surprised if he’s a bit more affectionate: squeezing your shoulder while you prep ingredients; hugging you from behind when you stir the pot on the stove; accepting the spoonful of food you offer for him, and then trying to kiss you when he teasingly asks if you want a taste too.

When he has to spend evenings working in his private study, he’ll invite you to visit with him instead of one of his brothers and keep him company. He doesn’t even mind if you sit in silence, with only a quiet cursed record playing in the background - your presence is comforting enough.

He likes to look up from his paperwork and watch you read in front of the fireplace or play on your phone. Every once in a while you both look up at the same time and smile at each other. If you fall asleep, he won’t wake you - he’ll simply carry you to bed when he’s finished.

FIANCE(E) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

He doesn’t need a formal marriage ceremony to feel confident in your relationship - you’re already in a pact with him, remember?

Then again, there is something highly gratifying about you having his old, lost ring…

He wouldn’t object to marriage if you asked it of him, but he might not propose himself unless you want him to.

He proves to you in so many ways that you already belong to each other.

Do you prefer monogamy? Then he’s yours, and yours alone.

Do you have other arrangements with others that you have feelings for? He’s not intimidated. Those dealing are of no consequence to him - he’s confident that there’s no one that can love you more than he can.

LITTLE ONES (How are they around children?)

He might say he finds young children tolerable but when you see them together? You might wonder whether it’s the same demon.

He will bounce a baby on his hip while walks around his office, and he’ll respond to baby gurgles and cooing like he understands them (whether he does or not is anyone’s guess).

He’ll hold their hand when they cross the street and remind them to check both ways. He impresses on them the importance of saying please and thank you. He sits them on the kitchen counter while he cooks so they can keep him company, or he lets them “help” make something (usually a dessert, so they can lick the spoon after).

Oh, and Cerberus becomes quickly accustomed to the presence of children, and being hugged by them and pet by them, and maybe being ridden by them if Lucifer thinks you’re not around to scold him–

Ahem. Yes, you could say he doesn’t mind children.

Honestly, he doesn’t give much thought to ever being a parent himself - sometimes it feels like he has six children already - but he would consider the idea if you mention wanting a family with him.

SECURITY (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Lucifer knows you’re perfectly capable of standing up for yourself, and the last thing he wants to do is overstep his boundaries and make you feel like you’re weak or less capable somehow. 

(He will gladly do so if you ask him to, or if he knows it’s something you struggle with.)

HOWEVER.

He won’t stand by forever if someone shows blatant disrespect towards you personally, or insults his relationship with you.

His protectiveness usually comes to life in the form of glinting ruby eyes that flash with a promise of violence, and a joyless smile that hints at the fangs he’s ready to bare for you, and cold, sharp words that could make anyone’s blood freeze. This is his only warning, so let’s hope those that speak so poorly of you consider their next words carefully.

In an urgent situation, or one where you’re physically at risk? He doesn’t hesitate to bring you to safety, shielding you with his body or pulling you out of harm’s way. Once you’re safe, he’s on the attack, ready to eliminate whatever or whoever threatened you.

TRY (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He works so much and so hard for the things and people he cares about: the Devildom, Diavolo, his brothers, and you.

He works hard in his position at RAD because he wants the Devildom to be a better place for his family, and he wants the Devildom to be a safe place you can call home.

He uses special occasions as an excuse to take you away on a trip, or he plans an elaborate date - something he can do where all he has to focus on is making you happy.

His brothers’ antics remind him that alone time with you is a luxury he shouldn’t take for granted.

Any happy occasion or milestone gets 100% of his thoughtful attention.

His gifts are thoughtful, and practical, and he plans his gifts or trips well in advance.

He wants everything to be perfect, because it’s what you deserve.

Lucifer

I: Injured: How do they handle themselves when they’re injured?

🎶 He’s more likely to hide the fact that he’s injured. He doesn’t want you all to worry or fuss over him. At most he might trust someone to help him out if he’s not able to hide it completely. He trusts you enough to tell you when he’s injured. Only because you’ll notice and worry if he keeps it from you as he has in the past. Lucifer always believes he has to handle things himself and hide anything he believes to be weakness, including his injuries. 

M: Mistakes: How much do they want to fix the mistakes of their past?

🎶 Lucifer once upon a time tried to go back. That's all he wanted, all he thought about. Going back and fixing everything before it was even done. Why did things turn out the way that they did? He never could bring himself to understand. But now… After finding out the result of their choice, he’s content. Now that they had come to terms with their grief and adjusted to life, then things have happened and they created a new home and memories. Now he doesn’t dwell on the wish to go back as much. 

V: Vent: How do they get rid of feelings they find unnecessary? 

🎶 He buries his feelings, pushes them aside or finds an outlet like working. Lucifer never entrusted anyone with his worries or he felt that it would be an unnecessary burden for people so he bottles it up. Until it explodes into the messiest breakdown that you’d never see, because he holds it together until he’s alone and can just let everything consume him violently. Snot, tears, spit, everything. It’s a mess, he’s a mess. He’d never allow anyone to see him in such a way. 

Q: Qualify: What parts of themselves do they consider dangerous? 

🎶 His determination to protect his family. There’s no depths that he would not stoop to if it’s for their sake. Lucifer may be prideful but he’s willing to cast it aside for the sake of his brothers and let no one stand against him. He’s scared of what he’s capable of doing for them. 

Mammon

A: Accident: Would they blame themselves if you died in an accident?

💰 He would blame himself, saying he should have stopped you. Or at least been there to prevent the situation from happening. He’d question himself, he’d punish himself. Why wasn’t he at your side? What was so important that he left you alone and allowed this to happen. If you were there you’d tell him not to blame himself. It was an accident, something no one foresaw. No one could have predicted it, or stopped it and Mammon tearing himself apart while believing otherwise is a painful sight for everyone to see. 

R: Rock: What weighs them down?

💰 Sometimes he thinks back to the days in the celestial realm. He’s moved on, as best as he can and he’s living his life now. Albeit as a demon, a far cry from the divine being he once was. Sometimes he’ll do something, amplified and compelled by his sin and he’ll catch himself wondering why he’s like this now and why he couldn’t return to the way he was before. 

Y: Yearning: Do old memories make them yearn for your touch 

💰 When you said a tearful farewell to everyone and left the Devildom to return to the human realm. Mammon was LOST. He didn’t know what to do without you there. Every day he got up he’s the first one running to your room to get you, only to knock on a door that no one was going to answer. He’d miss you, and all the affection you’d give him. The hugs when he was sad, holding his hands to stop him from pickpocketing a poor unsuspecting soul, or how you would praise him and touch his head. He misses all of that so much. Why’d you have to leave? 

Z: Zest: Add your own letters (A/N: Treating this like a wildcard and will just put a random headcanon) 

💰 Mammon does not know how to deal with grief. Even hypothetically, you’ve had the conversation with him, the question of what he’d do when you pass. It was inevitable, you’re human, your lifetime is not long enough to match his. You would grow old, eventually passing on and you’d have to part ways permanently. Mammon couldn’t bring himself to answer because he refused to think about it. He can’t imagine it. A world and you’re nowhere in it. 

Leviathan

I: Injured: How do they handle themselves when they’re injured?

🎮 He’s not a baby per se, but he’s not hiding it. Honestly he wants you to dote on him. He’d tell only you and ask you to keep it a secret. He’s good at handling the pain because he’d tell you it’s just a little scratch when in actuality it’s a lot more dire and deep than he led you to believe. He wants to feel that someone cares and so he’d tell you, the person who Levi knows would treat him tenderly and kindly while he’s healing. 

M: Mistakes: How much do they want to fix the mistakes of their past?

🎮 Levi had too many things he wanted to fix. Sometimes anxiety would make even the most mundane mistake one worthy of fixing. If he sits and considers all the things he wanted to fix then the anxiety would swallow him whole. The big, the small, the tragic and the things that brought about real changes in indescribable ways. He wants to go back, he wants that redo button but in the moments when he’s content with life he really thinks about it. Is that what he truly wanted? At the risk of losing what he had now? Sometimes the thought alone eased it. 

R: Rock: What weighs them down?

🎮 The way he is. He says, his self depreciation always leads into dark territory and he can name more flaws than things he likes about himself. He sees himself through the worst lens and believes himself to be useless amongst other names he’d gladly label himself with. He regrets the way he is, it’s a heavy thing. It takes a bit of encouragement, a lot of steady affirmation to convince him of otherwise and he craves validation to convince him. A single bad word can tear down any positive self esteem he builds up. 

Z: Zest: Add your own letters (A/N: Treating this like a wildcard and will just put a random headcanon)

🎮 Genuinely wants to get better at connecting with people. He believes most of his problems would be solved if he could just connect with people. He says the wrong thing and will retreat, punishing himself for it. It was an honest mistake but would they see it that way. Levi goes into things always assuming people hate him and want nothing to do with him. Never do open invitations with him, unless he’s invited specifically he will assume that you don’t want him there. 

Satan

O: Outrage: What makes them angry?

📚 A lot can set him off, he’s volatile. He doesn’t mean to be and he’s trying to work on it but it’s hard when he’s surrounded by people that drive him up the walls. Satan honestly hated the fact that he felt no respect from anyone. There was nothing but fear, and evasiveness. People had no respect for his personal space and it irked him, how they would touch him without his consent when all he wanted was to be left alone. Or when they would come into his room- his ONLY safe space and take away the very thing that made it safe. 

P: Pressure: What stresses them to the breaking point? 

📚 Satan has a lot of triggers and sadly unlike most who can calm down and get back to normality, his emotions stack up. They stack, and stack until they have no more outlet aside from OUT. They explode and so does he. Most of his outbursts aren’t caused by a simple momentary anger, it’s a piling effect of things that were simmering under the surface. The more people are afraid of him, the more he tries to control himself, fails to do so and it makes it worse. He grows fearful of himself and it becomes a vicious cycle. 

T: Time: What if they had a limited time to live?

📚 He wouldn’t tell anyone. He’d leave. He’d go somewhere where he could be alone and spend his time doing things he likes until it was time to say goodbye. He would do so, alone, peacefully and no one would know. That was his initial answer when you asked this question the first time. His relationship with his brothers changed, grew and became something precious. His relationship with you- evolved into something deeper. Had you asked him this question again, he would want to be supported by all of you, and loved until the moment he leaves with you all by his side. 

Y: Yearning: Do old memories make them yearn for your touch? 

📚 Satan tries not to dwell on it too much, he doesn’t want to deal with the extra emotions. The answer however is yes, he’d remember you and your absence grows only more pronounced. He’d think of when he could lay his head in your lap, reading his book while your fingers played with his hair. It was calming, he could fall asleep, feeling safe with you. That was no longer there and you, his safe space, are no longer there. He’d remember your touches as something calming, filled with love and safety. He feels lost without it. He misses it. 

Asmodeus

E: Emotion: What emotions do they tend to push away the most?

💅🏻 Insecurity - Asmodeus never wants to doubt himself. He ignores it, when he looks at himself and doubts his appearance, his existence. Feeling too far removed from what he once was, Asmo needed to embrace this new life. Find security or distraction so his thoughts didn’t discard who he’d become, so his past self couldn’t scorn him and look down on him. Asmo piled on compliment after compliment, found people to cater to his dire need to be praised and validated, to be praised as beautiful. He needed to hear it so much that he himself could believe it. 

G: Great pain: What is the most painful thing they’ve witnessed?

💅🏻 The fall of his brothers and himself. The moment all of those who were once his allies treated them as traitors, the fight was vicious. There was no choice though, this is what they chose. To save their family, and protect Lilith. Asmo would never forget, not really forget. He could get moments of peace when his mind was far too occupied, focused on the moment that he couldn’t think about it. The moment he saw despair and regret, the utter pain that encompassed them all and the forced shame they felt. 

K: Kill: Would they kill for revenge? 

💅🏻 10/10 He absolutely would. Should someone hurt you or his brothers, Asmodeus is vindictive enough to hunt them down and kill them. He wouldn’t grant them the mercy of a quick death either and would get really sadistic about it. He’d forget himself and gladly become the monster when exacting such a brutal revenge. To send a message, to put himself at ease, even when he knows revenge is empty and cold. It wouldn’t bring anyone back or change what had been done. 

R: Rock: What weighs them down?

💅🏻 Self destructive tendencies. Asmo is aware of them and he hides them well. Most people wouldn’t notice his unkind habits because he disguises them so well. Asmo knows what he’s doing, he wants to stop but he finds comfort in them. So he continues to do them every time he feels overwhelmed, he does it to feel a semblance of control. The result is met with him talking himself down, trying to stop doing it but he always falls into familiar habits. 

Beelzebub

S: Sorrow: Would they feel empty after your death?

🍔 He’d be so lost without you. Beel would fall back into the deep pain of grief, a feeling that you helped him heal from and now he’s got to experience it with you. It’s too much, he’d be feeling so much at once that wouldn’t be able to decide what feels worse than the other. The sadness? The disbelief? The anger? Cycling through reasons of things to blame for your passing. Himself? You? Beel prays, something he hadn’t done for a long time. He wants to wake up from the nightmare because this is not reality. Everyone knows it’s hard on Beel when he doesn’t even eat. 

U: Urge: How badly do they get the urge to see you after separating?

🍔 Beel misses you terribly. When you go back to the human world. He’s always messaging, calling, asking when you’re going to be back. When he can see you again and hold you. He’s missing you. He’s asking Lucifer every second day if he could go see you and Lucifer of course says no so Beel resorts to plotting with his brothers to secretly come and visit you. 

L: Loss: What was their greatest loss? 

🍔 Lilith. For all the brothers it was the hardest loss they had to experience, but in particular for Beel and Belphie who held a deep relationship with Lilith; it was the most devastating loss. Beel blames himself for so much, and still believes it was his fault that she died. Gradually, things get better. They do and the feelings that suffocated him became a little lighter, enough to let him breathe. He still shoulders the weight of her absence, and guilt. 

Q: Qualify: What parts of themselves do they consider dangerous?

🍔 His strength when it’s misused, or when he’s hangry. Beel has no control over himself during that time and can only see the destruction he caused after the fact. His insatiable hunger, when left to get out of control, is the most terrifying thing and people have been hurt as a result. His brothers struggle to control him or reign in his strength and can only watch when he's wreaking havoc. 

Belphegor

W: Wild card: A random angst headcanon 

⭐ Started sleeping a lot more not only due to his sin. Belphie used it as a way to escape from everything when he first fell into the Devildom, the loss of Lilith, the loss of their home and their wings, when he and his brothers became demons and were forced into an unfamiliar and hostile place. Sleeping was the only quiet he found, away from his thoughts, his feelings and his reality. Dreams were better. 

C: Crying: Are they much of a crier?

⭐ Secret crier. He hides it well and he won’t make a peep. He’d bury himself under his pillows and sob his eyes out silently just to get all the feelings out. He sobbed himself to sleep every night when they first got to the Devildom. He knew everyone was struggling and couldn’t talk about what he was thinking about or feeling so he opted to cry alone. It was easier that way so he believed. 

H: Humiliation: How could they be humiliated? 

⭐ The early days of settling into Devildom, humiliation became a part of daily life. With the outright hatred and hostility from the demons towards the brothers who had just fallen. They went out of their way to sabotage them, to chase them away and highlight their differences and how they were not welcome anywhere. That separation, distinction and mockery of what they used to be is what caused relentless humiliation everyday for Belphie. 

K: Kill: Would they kill for revenge 

⭐ I mean for the sake of a grudge he held against all humans he nearly killed you- had it not been for Barbatos. It’s very likely for him to kill for revenge. He’d have no qualms about it, he’s got a motive and a means and if that person hurt him, or those close to him. His first solution is homicide. He’s very quick from point A to B with violence.

- I feel like he’d run into somewhere and just be instantly taken with you

- And you’d ’accidentally’ run into each other a few more times and start talking

- Definitely a cuddler

- Likes cuddling after a long day

Matches the rest of him pretty well, on the thin side as well as a blinding white colour while hitting a comfortable 7.8 inches. He knows exactly how to use it too. No wonder Lilith felt like That Bitch. 

Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)

Need it being said? His sex drives rivals that of Angel Dust. Don’t start something you can’t finish.

Really tires to remember everything. Wants to remember every single thing so that he can bring it up in conversation. So you know he’s listening.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Anytime you had anything like a mundane or normal life. Just cooking together? Shopping for groceries? Doing chores together? All his personal heaven.

He understands that you can protect yourself, you’re a hunter after all, but of course he still covers you whenever he cans.

He really doesn’t like people cutting his hair, no hair stylist, not dear old dad (fucking John), not Dean, I think the only person, alive, he’d let cut his hair is you.

Hair holds memory’s and after losing so many people it just feel’s terrible having it cut. Like he’s forgetting them.

But with you it’s different, you want to braid his hair? Sure. Want to style it? Hmm okey. You think it look good a little shorter? Only for you.

Definitely, sometimes he goes of on hunts alone and if he can’t at least hear your voice from a call or two, expect a very clingy Sam when he gets back.

‪‪❤︎‬ Loves it, absolutely loves it. It's how he wants to unwind after a long hard day. It feels nice, comfortable and he gets to hold you close to him. Sometimes he likes to playfully hoist you in his arms and carry you to his private quarters so he can unwind with you in his arms.

‪‪❤︎‬ Not really picky. If you let him choose a position though, it's either snuggling whilst facing each other, or you laying on his chest. Though if you want to spoon him or have him lay on your chest, he's definitely not complaining.

❤︎ Diavolo would really hate to end a relationship, especially if things had once been good. ❤︎ Doesn't take the break up that well. He wonders if he has done anything wrong, or if it was simply not to be. Diavolo doesn't like blaming you solely for the downfall of the relationship.

❤︎ He's a prince, so marriage is pretty much a given. It's his duty to not only rule the Devildom, but also secure a heir. And that begins with a strong and stable relationship. Diavolo doesn't date to have short term fun, he wants a partner for the long haul.

❤︎ For him, he realizes you're human, and that you don't have as long. Diavolo definitely wants to get married to you in your lifespan. He's decided he'll give the relationship a couple years before he begins to officially court you.

❤︎ Very gentle. He's the prince of the Devildom, and hurting a human would happen pretty quick. Diavolo doesn't like being rough with you, he's more of the soft and gentle kind unless he gets a bit playful. His touches are firm but calculated and caring.

❤︎ Big softie emotionally too. He usually goofs off with you around, and when he is serious, he's sincere above else. Diavolo loves being sweet towards you, giving you compliments, telling you he adores you and talking about the two of you.

❤︎ Obviously he does. Diavolo loves finding excuses to hug you. He hugs you after seeing you after a long day, he'll hug you during soft moments together. The demon is a bit touch starved and he just wants to be close to you.

❤︎ His hugs completely envelop you. He gently presses you against him, firmly wrapping his arms around your torso, either your middle or shoulders. He loves holding the back of your head, if you nestle yourself against his chest.

❤︎ Diavolo trusts you, and he's not the type of person to get jealous or bitter fast. He doesn't like seeing people hit on you, and he will step in if he has to. But he has never felt threatened by anyone else getting too comfortable with you.

❤︎ Diavolo usually talks to you whenever he feels that way. He knows that it's irrational to feel that way, but he wants to talk about it anyway. He trusts you to put him at ease, to assure him and to make sure that another person gets the hint you're taken.

❤︎ This demons kisses are either sweet and sincere or quick and playful. Like I said before it all depends on the mood. They're always full of love, and of excitement that he gets to call you his. Diavolo loves kissing you on the lips, cheek and on top of your head.

❤︎ He doesn't mind you kissing him anywhere, really. But if he had to pick, his lips and his forehead are his absolutely favorites. Do that and you'll get a very soft and happy prince.

𝐋 = 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 (How are they around children?)

❤︎ Diavolo adores children. He could sit down and play with them for hours. Their innocent laughter always warms his heart and reminds him of when he was a child. Diavolo really becomes a big child when you leave him with happy children. You found him with doodles on his face more than once.

❤︎ Does want children of his own, more than one if possible. On the one hand because he needs a heir, but on the other hand he would love to raise a family with you. To do right where his father did wrong and to make sure his little ones never have to feel alone. Plus having a little bundle of joy born from his love shared with you seems too good to be true.

𝐌 = 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (How are mornings spent with them?)

❤︎ If you're at the house of lamentation, he will greet you as soon as you step foot on RAD campus. He'll greet you with a soft kiss and a hug, smiling as he sees you. The prince will hold your hand as the two of you walk in before you have to separate for your classes.

❤︎ If you're with him, it's often hard to get him out of bed at all. His arms are wrapped around you, tangled up in the sheets as he basks in the affection and your presence. It either takes a lot of his will power, or insistent knocking on the door from Barbatos to get him up again. He'll get ready with you and treat you to some breakfast and a kiss before he goes off to do his thing.

𝐍 = 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 (How are nights spent with them?)

❤︎ Nights when you're staying in with him, might just be his favorite time of day. He loves seeing you unwind, slip on one of his shirts and some shorts before you get comfortable by his side. His uniform is unbuttoned as he finally lets the princely facade fade. The night is young and he's not ready to go to sleep yet, not when you smile at him like that.

❤︎ When the two of you are out during the night, he likes taking you out to a nice dinner. Laughter is shared between the two of you as you're seated at a private table at a nice restaurant. It's relaxing and he enjoys seeing you in the nice dress he bought you.

𝐎 = 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧  (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

❤︎ Diavolo doesn't reveal things to you right away. He wants to know who you are first. The prince waits until you're well established among him and the brothers before he reveals things about himself and his past. He doesn't drop everything on you at once, just when the occasion calls for it.

❤︎ He'll also answer any questions you ask him. He doesn't feel like he has to hide anything from you. You're his partner, his closest friend and his confidant. HE can't really imagine hiding things from you.

𝐏 = 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 (How easily angered are they?)

❤︎ Diavolo is pretty easy going. He's not a pushover, but he's usually a happy go lucky person. It would take a lot for people to anger him, especially you. Usually he can resolve the issue before it gets to that point.

❤︎ If he's well and truly pissed, he will usually cool off and give you the cold shoulder until he's ready to talk. The only time he'll slip into his demon form and go off is when you or someone else he cares about gets seriously harmed.

𝐐 = 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳𝐳𝐞𝐬 (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

❤︎ Remembers all of the important things you say, If you tell him something important to you, he makes sure to remember it. He'll even write it down sometimes.

❤︎ Also remembers things you randomly said in passing. You told him you liked a certain color dress? You got it the next day. You mentioned your favorite dish? He had Barbatos cook it for him so he can try it out for himself, and maybe conviently have some leftovers to give to you the next day.

𝐑 = 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

❤︎ The first time to the two of you spent the night together in his quarters. None of the brothers, angels, sorcerer or even his butler to bother the two of you. It was the first time he felt like you were all his, no one elses.

❤︎ He had invited you over to his place after a long day at RAD, hoping to get you to spend the weekend with him. He felt like he was missing out on so much, as everything interesting always happened with you and the brothers.

𝐒 = 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

❤︎ Diavolo is decently protective. He doesn't want anything bad to happen to you, ever. Will most definitely put himself in harms way if it meant saving you. Whether that be fighting off someone who tried to harm you, or subtly intimidating someone for trying to berate you.

❤︎ Appreciates you trying to protect him, but would rather you didn't. He's the crown prince of the Devildom, he can most definitely protect himself. In contrast you're a fragile human. He would be happy if you told someone off for harassing him, though.

𝐓 = 𝐓𝐫𝐲 (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

❤︎ Puts a good amount of effort into these kinds of things. He wants you to know he values your relationship. The demon prince makes sure he shows off a little. After all, someone with his status should treat his partner good.

❤︎ Usually he takes you out to do fancy things. Diavolo will pick you up, get you dressed up and take you out. Shopping, luxurious dinners, whatever you want, he'll foot the bill. He doesn't mind it when he gets to see you happy and all dolled up for him.

𝐔 = 𝐔𝐠𝐥𝐲(What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

❤︎ Sheltered. Diavolo isn't stupid by any means, but he is very sheltered. He grew up alone and wants to be liked, to feel like he belongs. It gets a bit grating sometimes.

❤︎ Tries to force you to remain by his side. It's a pretty bad habit of his. Whenever he thinks you're slipping away from him, he'll often try whatever tactics to get you close to him again. He's desperate to lose you and he takes it really hard.

𝐕 = 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 (How concerned are they with their looks?)

❤︎ Diavolo has to look nice. He's the prince and if he neglects his appearance he'll most definitely get an earful from his butler. His uniform is tidy, hair well combed and his teeth brushed clean.

❤︎ Other than that he also works out and likes taking baths to unwind. He's not obsessed with his appearance by any means, but he certainly prefers looking nice, clean and presentable.

𝐖 = 𝐖𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

❤︎ Yes. Diavolo has grown to adore you. In his eyes you're his one true love, the one person he wants to protect above all else. He gets very antsy and uncomfortable when he's separate from you. Barbatos has sent you a few photos of Diavolo looking like a sad puppy at his desk with his paperwork, whilst you were out to do something else.

❤︎ If he were to live without you, he'd be a lot less happy and bright about it. You're on his mind a lot and he doubts he can ever forget about you. You'll always have this princes heart.

𝐗 = 𝐗𝐭𝐫𝐚 (A random headcanon for them.)

❤︎ Not really sure how to show affection. Sometimes he accidentally resorts to trying to buy your love. When he realized you were happier lazily hanging in his arms whilst watching a movie instead of a fancy dinner and shopping, he was mildly surprised.

❤︎ To add to the above point he really likes doing regular person things with you. You could take this man to a date in a public pool and he'd have one hell of a great time. It's like he's healing his inner child.

𝐘 = 𝐘𝐮𝐜𝐤 (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

❤︎ Cruelty of any kind. Diavolo doesn't understand what the point of being an awful person is. If you act like that, or just disrespectful, then his feelings fade really fast. That's just not something Diavolo can put up with.

❤︎ Going behind his back. Not that it's easy to go behind his back, as he knows when people are lying. If it's trying to hide a innocent surprise for him, then he loves it. But malicious lying and undermining him would upset him. You're supposed to be in his corner, why would you do something like that?

𝐙 = 𝐙𝐳𝐳 (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

❤︎ Diavolo is a moderately deep sleeper. He would wake up if there's noise, but he can sleep through most other things. Usually sleeps on his side, but will sleep on his back if he's tired enough.

❤︎ Goes to bed with a lot of things on his mind. His duties, social interactions of the day and anything else clouds his mind as he gets comfortable to rest. He tends to think a lot when he's trying to drift off.

A = Affection

Crowley (before his sauntering) was one of the more affectionate angels. He didn’t particularly mind being in someone’s personal space and wasn’t quite aware of their possible dislike of it. He was very prone to hanging off any angels he fancied as friends. As hugs weren’t yet a thing back then, Crowley would show his affections in other ways, mainly standing very close to you and having one body part touching you. Spending quality time with you was another big factor. Crowley would love to sit and chat with you for some time. Once, you’d almost spent a whole week chatting, unknowing of the length because the concept of time simply wasn’t thought up yet.

B = Best friend

Crowley was such a bright Angel, it wasn’t hard to befriend him because of his outgoing personality and once he considered you a friend it was hard not to be his best friend. Mainly, because most angels wouldn’t be very fond of his “weird,” (as they’d put it) ways, so when he found someone that he got along with, he’d stick to them like glue.

C = Cuddles

If they’d been around during his time as an Angel, I’m sure Crowley would’ve quite enjoyed embracing his fellow ethereals, especially the ones he cared for as close friends. He certainly would’ve been a tight squeezer that would pick you up.

D = Domestic

In terms of “settling down,” for Angel Crowley, that meant sitting with the stars in peace. He wanted more than anything to be upon he stars and fly within nebulas for the rest of his eternal life. Of course, he wanted you to join him, too.

E = Ending

Nothing ever really ends, not when you’re immortal.

F = Fiance(e)

When Crowley got rumoured news of the forever binding law of marriage, he’d wondered first if you’d be up for it, then second if it was reserved for humans only. The answer to that sorely disappointed him.

G = Gentle

Crowley could occasionally get overexcited, but he was an Angel and from that, everything he touched was a generation from the grace of God. He was as gentle as they came.

H = Hugs

Yes! As already established Angel Crowley would’ve loved hugs!

I = I love you

Surprise, surprise, declarations of love weren’t all the rage in heaven way back in the day, though Crowley would save things like that for his special angel, you.

J = Jealousy

Haven? Jealousy? The concept hadn’t even been felt yet by Lucifer!

K = Kisses

Well, someone had to come up with the idea of a “kiss,” and whether it was you first, or Crowley did not compare to how much he loved doing it. Sure, Angels showed affection but none quite like you and Crowley, it was so different in fact that you both preferred to hide it away from the other Angels. The way Crowley kissed you was quite fun, and most times ticklish, inducing laughter and giggles.

L = Little ones

Children weren’t yet a reality, but I’m sure he would’ve loved them, as he did most things.

M = Morning

By the time mornings were established, Crowley was unfortunately sizzling in hell, though I’m sure he would’ve been keen on watching a sunrise with you.

N = Night

The same, but a sunset.

O = Open

Crowley was always quite open about the thoughts that ran through his head, almost too much. Unabashedly he was honest about his love for you, after all embarrassment wasn’t something that existed yet.

P = Patience

He wasn’t one for waiting, but for an immortal, patience is endless (despite how eager he was for the universe to start existing).

Q = Quizzes

Crowley has always had quite a good memory and often picks up little things about you. From the beginning he’s had a keen memory of your interests, attitudes and general way of expressing yourself. He might not verbalise that he know so much about you, but he does.

R = Remember

You had asked Crowley what his favourite planet was at the time of his star-y creating and he’d taken you to Mars. A large orange planet that oddly matched the colour of his hair. At a closer inspection, Crowley remarked at the dullness of it and jested that you should help him create some life forms to liven things up. Dumbfounded by the proposition you quickly said no, to which he pleaded “But you’re so creative! C’mon, let’s spice things up,” and you had caved, leading to a bit of an ecosystem on Mars with water and plants that quickly died out before the humans had found them. Honestly, you still wonder how you weren’t found out.

S = Security

Other than some passive aggressive Angels, there was nothing to protect you from in heaven. All Crowley ever wanted was just to have alone time with you, where you could chat to him about a lifetime of unimportant topics in peace.

T = Try

Crowley would often pull you from your heavenly duties to goof around. If it wasn’t for that, the two of you would’ve barely seen one another. He had always put in the effort to see you and it’s what kept the friendship strong.

U = Ugly

Crowley’s bad habits would usually consist of him either bending or completely breaking the rules. It had gotten you in trouble more than once.

V = Vanity

Vanity only became a problem for Crowley when he began hanging out with the wrong Angels. He was always beautiful of course, but the realisation and indulgence of it was one of his early sins. He’d fallen soon after.

W = Whole

Not if you weren’t there. Crowley feels the loneliness, being so different. Without you and the strong friendship you had, Crowley feels empty.

X = Xtra

Whatever duties you were given during the creation of the universe, Crowley would usually find a way to sneak in, add his own little touch and meddle. It was usually charming, when it didn’t end up with you in trouble.

Y = Yuck

Angel Crowley could never break through to some of the harder Angels like Gabriel or Micheal and had usually found their personalities… distasteful.

Z = Zzz

Practically invented sleeping! After doing so, he beckoned for you to try it but you could never doze off, not with him staring over you like an excited dog.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

🎶 His style is quality over quantity. He’s a bit reserved when in public, and he will never hesitate to put a guiding hand on your back. He enjoys holding your hand to prevent getting separated but also just for the sake of holding your hand. He values more intimate affection when in private when he doesn’t have to worry about others and personally enjoys whenever you’re affectionate towards him. 

B = Best Friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

🎶 His presence is comforting, he’s the friend to seek out for sound advice who will get angry on your behalf and try to find a way to solve your problems, he is dependable and trustworthy. He is supportive and encouraging in a calm manner but will always warn you of potential problems or obstacles ahead. In a word you would call him your wisest friend, he enjoys your company and likes watching operas, ballet performances, musicals and the theater in general. Other activities include relaxing in museums, art galleries and fine dining. 

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle) 

🎶   He is a sensual man and believes touch can convey a lot of intimacy and enjoys the closeness of that when cuddling. That’s why it’s appealing to him, it’s also quiet and simple. It conveys trust and comfort without words to misconstrued things in the funny way they do. Lucifer kept people at an arm's length after everything that happened, his brothers are the closest to his heart but even with them he keeps the image of the strong, unbreakable and dependable older brother. When he’s in your arms however, that’s all irrelevant. He can just be himself, no pressures, no image, no worries. He can sink into the comfort of the touch and warmth you give him. Making him feel like he can properly rest for the first time in a long time. 

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?) 

🎶 10/10 - Can cook and clean perfectly, he enjoys it. Something about dusting and rearranging his record collection is soothing, he is usually the one to pick up the chore slack if there is an unavoidable circumstance, such as people being strung up from the ceiling. Especially likes being able to cook meals for you, finds it pleasant when you enjoy his food and compliment his skills. Lucifer is usually very busy and doesn’t always cook or clean, but he can. (House husband material)

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

🎶 He is an adult about it, he’s mature about the situation and it’s not messy nor argumentative. It comes in the form of a very long discussion, speaking about what he wants mutually from a partner, compromises he can make and those he will not. He will only end the relationship if he feels it’s unrecoverable, not from a lack of trying from his side. He stays level headed and hides his sadness well, even after the separation he will always be amicable and a gentleman. 

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quickly would they want to get married.)

🎶 Marriage wasn’t something that dwelled on Lucifer’s mind, he had too many things to worry about and attend to before he could even consider marriage. Of course his perspective shifted after meeting you, when he had the blessing of peace and settlement in Devildom, his mind could afford to wander to things like that for himself. Even without a ring, he is wholly committed to you, probably the one and only person he would say that too. But you are precious, in every way. Even if it is a gesture, a human gimmick, he would like to settle down with you. 

G = Gentle (How gentle are they? Both physically and emotionally.)

🎶 Lucifer is a sadistic person at the best of times, especially when dishing out his punishments. But to you, the sole exception, he’s practically a lamb. His brothers protest constantly about how unfair it is that his punishments for you are much milder than what he gives them. He’s gentle towards you, not at first, but when your relationship began to evolve so did his treatment. He’s firm especially when it comes to your wellbeing but he is gentle towards you and always acts with consideration for your thoughts and feelings. There is intent behind his actions and sometimes even if they don’t make sense you are assured that he always acts in your best interest. 

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?) 

🎶 His hugs always feel comforting, he’s reserved in public and refrains from too much outward PDA but aside from all his secretive little touches and gestures, a hug is one of those things that he doesn’t mind other people seeing. He usually pairs his hugs with calming actions like rubbing your back or stroking your hair. If you’re upset or angry he’ll calm you down with a gentle sway and with his arms around you, it feels like the safest place on earth. 

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-Word) 

🎶 He doesn’t say it soon- not until he knows that he means it with his whole being. It’s not a word that Lucifer would ever throw around lightly and he wouldn’t say it if he was uncertain of his feelings towards you. It was anxiety inducing at first when he never said it, Lucifer would speak those sweet words of affection, those almost seductive whispers praising you but there was an absence of love in them. When Lucifer came to terms with his feelings, he was the first one to tell you about them. 

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they're jealous?) 

🎶 Lucifer doesn’t get jealous easily, hearing news of you hanging out with his brothers and the like isn’t enough to make him upset. He knows he’s special to you and he feels secure in that reasoning, he might get a little irritated more so than jealous. Even when seeing random people hitting on you, he’ll simply make sure that they’re aware that you’re his partner. He doesn’t entertain jealous feelings. Although he can use it as a reason to spend more time with you, telling you that he’s feeling a little sad that you haven’t been spending as much time with him. Seeing Lucifer so subdued when he asks for your attention is adorable. 

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

🎶 Tantalizing and slow, it’s almost like he overwhelms you with passionate kisses and pulls away leaving you wanting more. You were surprised about how he kissed you the first time, but Lucifer said he takes pride in his kisses and knows that you’ll love them. He also has a tendency to kiss your hand whenever greeting you, or sometimes even as an affectionate gesture, and kisses your forehead/top of your head usually when he hugs you. He doesn’t mind where you kiss him, he enjoys your kisses but seeing you reciprocate his hand kisses is adorable and endearing to him. 

L = Little Ones (How are they around children?)

🎶 Considering he is the eldest of his band of unruly brothers he’s very equipped and experienced when handling children. He knows how to talk to them, interact with them and even persuade them. Lucifer does have patience with the younger ones and even if he gets irritated he will hide it well. He’s stern but also rewards them for good behavior. In your mind you often see Lucifer leading the young ones like a mother duck and her ducklings in tow. 

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

🎶 He’s set in a very relaxed morning routine that includes enjoying drinking some coffee and waking up gradually, he gets ready at a leisurely pace and can eat in peace without having to rush. For someone who is always busy and does so much, his morning routine is very relaxed. He usually wakes you up 20 minutes later than he gets up, usually with a warm beverage and a good morning kiss. He enjoys idle chatter while getting ready and has developed a bad habit of intentionally leaving his tie crooked so you’ll fix it for him. 

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

🎶 Lucifer is usually busy with paperwork that he couldn't attend to in the day, he’s quite the workaholic and often brings work home with him. He sets himself up with a record and a cup of tea while he pages through things, sorting them into piles, it’s almost like his own form of homework. He welcomes your presence if you don’t mind his attention being focused on his admin, but he doesn’t force you to sit with him. There’s been more than a few occasions when you’ve fallen asleep and he drops everything to carry you off to bed. 

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while and reveal things slowly?)

🎶 He’s closed off, not intentionally but he doesn’t want people worrying about him. He’s the eldest, he has to always appear strong so his younger brothers won’t worry. Lucifer didn’t know when to switch that off, so he usually kept things to himself. You slowly encouraged him to trust you, confide in you and tell him that he doesn’t have to maintain that infallible mask. Lucifer steadily would talk about himself more; it took some encouragement until he trusted you with his more vulnerable moments.  

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?) 

🎶 Highly dependent on the situation, anger isn’t his first reaction to a situation. As more details come out is what will sway him, his brothers can rile him up and annoy him especially when they’re doing stupid things that result in more paperwork and headaches for him. He’s good at holding back, while you know he’s angry you rest assured that he isn’t overtaken by it. The only time you’ve seen unbridled rage is when someone tried to hurt you and his brothers. You’ve never seen Lucifer go from 0 to 200 as quickly as he did, it took a lot to stop him from committing murder right then and there. 

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing or they kind of or forget everything?) 

🎶 It comes naturally he has a mind for details, when it comes to his brothers and you. He remembers everything, the big, small, the important and the silly. He deems each one of them precious as they’re something that makes you, you. He sometimes wonders what would happen if he forgot you, would something so minute and seemingly meaningless remain and remind him of you and your presence? He never wants to think about it, but he is aware of the life spans of humans and he fears the day you won’t be around anymore - though with everyone’s efforts, it seems like that may not happen. 

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

🎶 Lucifer treasures moments and memories - he has various favorites. Some more than others, simple things like seeing you when he wakes up in the morning, how you’ve cried or gotten angry for him, protected him, whispered your words of love - they’re all precious treasures to him. How could he choose between your first I love you, or the last, when you had a fight for the first time and cried because he got angry then you ignored him until he gave you hugs and kisses as an apology. He truly hopes, and even ironic for him - prays that his memories would never fade. Because it is something he wants forever. 

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

🎶 Lucifer is very protective, for various reasons. It’s in his nature to be the guardian, but also because he never wants anything to happen to you. He wishes that you could only see the good of everything without experiencing the bad. He tries his hardest to keep you in a blissful reality. It’s never that easy and he knows that, so if he can’t prevent that, he can support and comfort you when you need it, if you need a wall to guard you, he will gladly be that, or if you need a pillar to support you from behind, Lucifer will gladly do that as well. You return his love and security tenfold, for Lucifer it is an awkward experience because he never really was in the position to be protected, believing himself to be the one that must always protect.  

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

🎶 Lucifer never half asses anything and takes pride in completing his tasks perfectly, to the point of where it feels that  it’s autopilot. However, when it comes to you- everything he does, he will put more effort  into it. Making sure it is as perfect as it could possibly be. Because for you,  his beloved, deserves nothing short of perfection. His dates are well planned, coordinated. It’s always something you enjoy and when you’ve stated that you wanted to do his favourite thing, he usually will compromise by doing something the two of you can enjoy together after all he wants you first and foremost to enjoy yourself. 

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

🎶 He’s a workaholic, to his own detriment most of the time. You already know that he could really finish those documents tomorrow, but no he absolutely insists that he has to finish them tonight. While working hard is a very admirable trait, the reason you regard this as a bad habit is due to the fact that Lucifer neglects himself under the guise of work. He won’t eat, sleep - He’ll deprive himself of basic things and stress himself out, pouring over work and documents that could have been left for a later date. You put your foot down - insisting that if he will work the way he does he is not allowed to pull all-nighters, work no later than 2am and remember to eat and drink something. 

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?) 

🎶 He takes pride in his appearance, not to the point of being obsessed about it. He likes looking and feeling good, Lucifer likes it when you compliment him, the outfit he wore or how he styled his hair. He became a bit more centered on his appearance after being with you, but that’s his pride as a partner. He wants to be the best version of himself for you,  though you compliment him even if he’s a little more disheveled than the norm.  

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

🎶 He is the master of ignoring his feelings, while he will tell himself that he’s fine. He’s not. He’d be more fixated on throwing himself into work more than usual, pushing himself to the absolute brink of exhaustion so he could get some rest without thinking of you. His brothers would all be worried about Lucifer but he’d dismiss it- even when Diavolo says something Lucifer would bring up a whole bunch of admin and the backlog that Diavolo couldn’t possibly handle on his own. He needs to keep his mind busy so his mind doesn’t wander to thoughts of you and so he doesn’t feel how much he actually misses you. 

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them)

🎶 Music is almost a form of therapy to him, it’s been a long time since he really had anyone to confide in. But the mellow sound of music seemed to ease his woes and make him feel better, it became something therapeutic and the ritual of sitting down to listen to music with a drink while unwinding is some of his most treasured time to himself. He was pretty surprised when seeing the extensive collection of records the human world had and you enjoyed taking him out and about while introducing him to your favourite bands, artists and songs. 

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn't like, either in general or in a partner?)

🎶 Negligent, irresponsible and ignorant. There are some traits he doesn’t like, and finds unpleasant interacting with. He wouldn’t like them in others, especially in a partner. He doesn’t want someone who neglects or shirks their responsibilities, who neglects those they’re meant to love and protect. The same holds true for irresponsible people- mistakes are normal but intentionally avoiding your contribution to a problem and making no effort to be responsible is a highly unpleasant trait in his eyes. 

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?) 

🎶 Sleeps like the dead. He falls asleep the moment his head hits the pillow and he will not budge until his alarm goes off. It’s almost terrifying to see how deathly still he sleeps. You swear it’s like snuggling a mannequin. You insist he gets into a comfortable position before falling asleep. Some of his crankier days are a result of stiff and pained muscles from sleeping in some weird position that didn’t agree with him.
