I read this week that Instagram is pushing “overtly sexual adult videos” to young users. For a Wall Street Journal investigation, journalists created accounts that could belong to children, following young gymnasts, cheerleaders and influencers. The test accounts were soon served sexual and disturbing content on Instagram Reels, alongside ads for dating apps, livestream platforms with “adult nudity” and AI chatbots “built for cybersex”. Some were next to ads for kids’ brands like Disney.

This is something I’ve been trying to get across to parents about social media. The problem is not just porn sites. They are of course a massive concern. Kids as young as nine are addicted. The average age to discover porn is now 13, for boys and girls. And many in my generation are now realising just how much being raised on porn affected them, believing it “destroyed their brain” and distorted their view of sex.

But the problem is bigger than that. Porn is everywhere now. TikTok is serving up sex videos to minors and promoting sites like OnlyFans. The gaming platform Twitch is exposing kids to explicit live-streams. Ads for “AI sex workers” are all over Instagram, some featuring kids’ TV characters like SpongeBob and the Cookie Monster. And there’s also this sort of “soft-porn” now that pervades everything. Pretty much every category of content that kids could stumble across, from beauty trends to TikTok dances to fitness pages, is now pornified or sexualised in some way for clicks.

I think this does a lot of damage to Gen Z. I think it desensitises us to sex. I think it can ruin relationships. But beyond that, I also believe a major problem with everything being pornified is the pressure it puts on young girls to pornify themselves. To fit the sex doll beauty standard; to seek validation through self-sexualisation, and potentially monetise all this like the influencers they’re inundated with.

Which, of course, puts girls at risk of predators. Predators who are all over TikTok, Instagram and Snapchat. Predators whose algorithms helpfully deliver them more content of minors and steer them towards kids’ profiles. Predators who are taking TikToks of underage girls and putting them on platforms like Pornhub.

And this is even more terrifying because adolescent girls are especially vulnerable today. They are vulnerable anyway at that age—but today they have far less life experience than previous generations of girls did. They are extremely insecure and anxious, and much less resilient. Combine this with the fact that they are now more easily exposed to predatory men than ever before in history, and served to strangers by algorithms. And another thing: girls are also able to look way older now. They have AI editing apps to sexualise themselves. TikTok filters to pornify their bodies. And access to every kind of make-up and hair and fashion tutorial you can think of to look sexier and more mature. I don’t think enough parents realise how dangerous this situation is.

Which is why I find it so frustrating to see some progressives downplay the dangers of all this. Those that dismiss anyone concerned about the pornification of everything as a stuffy conservative. And somehow can’t see how the continual loosening of sexual norms might actually empower predatory men, and put pressure on vulnerable girls? That seems delusional to me.

Let’s just say I have little patience for those on the left who loudly celebrate women sexualising themselves online, selling it as fun, feminist and risk-free, but are then horrified to hear about 12 year-olds doing the same thing. C’mon. No wonder they want to.

But I also find it frustrating to see some on the right approach this with what seems like a complete lack of compassion. I don’t think it helps to relentlessly ridicule and blame young women for sexualising themselves online. I don’t think it’s fair either. We can’t give girls Instagram at 12 and then be surprised when as young women they base their self-worth on the approval of strangers. We can’t inundate kids with sexual content all the time and be shocked when they don’t see sex as sacred, or think sex work is just work! We can’t give them platforms as pre-teens where they are rewarded for sexualising themselves and presenting themselves like products and then shame them for starting an OnlyFans. We can’t expose them to online worlds where everything is sexualised and then be confused why some of Gen Z see their sexuality as their entire identity.

And again, on top of these platforms, girls are growing up in a culture that celebrates all of this. They are being raised to believe that they must be liberated from every restraint around sex and relationships to be free and happy, and many have never heard any different. Celebrities encourage them to be a slut, get naked, make/watch porn and make money! Mainstream magazines teach them how to up their nude selfie game! Influencers tell millions of young followers to start an OnlyFans, and pretend it’s about empowering young girls to do whatever they want with their bodies! I can’t say this enough: their world is one where the commodification and sexualisation the self is so normalised. It’s heartbreaking. And cruel that anyone celebrates it.

So sure, young women make their own choices. But when we have children sexualising themselves online, when girls as young as 13 are using fake IDs to post explicit content on OnlyFans, when a third of those selling nudes on Twitter are under the age of 18, I think it’s safe to say we are failing them from an early age.

I guess what I’m trying to get across is this: it’s tough for girls right now. It’s tough to be twelve and anxious and feel unattractive and this is how everyone else is getting attention. It’s tough to constantly compare yourself to the hyper-sexualised influencers that the boys you’re interested in are liking and following and thinking you have to compete. It’s tough to feel like the choice is sexualise yourself or nobody will notice you. The sad reality is we live in a superficial, pornified culture that rewards this stuff, and in many ways punishes you if you’re modest and sensitive and reserved, and a lot of girls are just trying to keep up with it.

We need serious cultural change. We need to wake up to how insane this all is, how utterly mental it is that we allow young girls anywhere near social media, and how we’ve let the liberalising of sexual mores escalate to the point where pre-teens are posing like porn stars and are lied to that it’s liberation. And where we need to start is with an absolute refusal from parents to let their kids on these platforms.

So please. If the relentless social comparison and obliteration of their attention span and confusion about their identity wasn’t enough, this has to be. Don’t let your daughters on social media.

Seattle Kraken locker room - Spring 2024

Maddie, the Kraken social media intern, cleared her throat softly. “Do you need me to repeat the question?” She smiled softly at Joey Daccord as he stared off into the distance, clearly lost in thought.

“What?” he asked, brought back to reality.

“Do you need me to repeat the question?” she repeated.

“Oh, no,” he blushed, “I remember the question.” He paused and looked at the camera. “How did I get into F1 racing?” he smiled impishly, “A friend from college introduced me to it. Once I started watching, I got hooked.”

Inwardly, he flinched slightly. It wasn’t an outright lie. Lauren was technically a friend first. Okay, more like an acquaintance but the principle stood. They didn’t need to know the rest of the story.

Arizona State University - Fall 2016

Joey wandered mindlessly through the house that literally vibrated from the loud music. “Why am I here?” he asked himself as he pushed his way into the kitchen. After he poured himself a beer, he felt the cool breeze hit as someone entered through the back door. He turned his head and made his way over to the door. He poked his head and was hit by the sound of silence, or at least silence in comparison. He walked out into the yard and stretched his arms over his head. By his calculation, he needed to hang for another hour before he could bounce back to his apartment.

He had been dragged to the party by his roommate, who had plans to hook up with a cute girl from his Sports Business class. Benji insisted that Joey come so it wouldn’t look “creepy” and Joey begrudgingly agreed if only for the sake of free beer.

He walked around the backyard, allowing the cool breeze to run through his hair. He enjoyed the solitude until it was broken by a very loud and distinct “Fuck you Ferrari!” It took a minute to find the source of the outburst. His eyes crinkled in confusion as he observed the beautiful blonde staring at her phone.

“What are you more of a Masarati girl?” he laughed in her direction.

“What are you talking about?” Lauren turned her attention from her phone briefly.

“Why are you screaming about Ferrari?” he started towards her. He noticed the wary expression on her face.

“Their fucking pit stop strategy worked and they just gained the lead against Hamilton.” she explained as she turned her attention back to the screen. He stared at her and processed her words.

“What does that mean in English?” he joked as he approached her gingerly.

“It’s a F1 thing,” she said without turning.

“Oh you mean racing?” he said, “Like Nascar?”

“Nascar is for hillbillies,” she deadpanned, “I am far more sophisticated than that.”

Joey laughed out loud, “I’m Joey, by the way.”

Lauren raised an eyebrow, did an internal vibe check and decided he didn’t have any immediate red flags. “I’m Lauren,” she answered.

“So you know about F1?” he asked. She nodded her head. “Would you explain it to me?” he questioned.

Lauren patted the spot next to her on the bench, “First thing you need to know is that we are on Team Mercedes.”

“We?” he questioned.

“Yes, if you want an F1 tutorial from me, I need to steer you in the right direction,” she laughed.

Montreal - Summer 2024

Lauren looked around the packed venue. The party was in full swing and the volume was loud enough to prove it. She had been tasked with coordinating the party as part of the Snapchat marketing promotion that was taking place at the F1 Canadian Grand Prix. After she had been promoted on the Snapchat marketing team, the F1 activation was her idea and she had championed long and hard to make it happen. Seeing it come to fruition was a boost to the ego, but she was quick to remind herself that there were several more days of hard work that needed to be completed before she could declare success. After another quick spin of the party, she went outside to grab a breath of fresh air. She used the opportunity to step out of her high heels whose promise of comfort ended after 8 hours of wear. She moaned softly as she wiggled her toes in the grass.

“Why do we always run into each other OUTSIDE of parties” she heard an oddly familiar voice call out to her. She turned to the direction of the voice and saw Joey standing with beer in his hand. Lauren spun around as her mind processed what her eyes had told her. It looked like her ex-boyfriend and sounded like her ex-boyfriend, but it couldn't possibly be her ex-boyfriend.

Finally she spoke, “What are you doing here?” She racked her brain. His name was definitely not on any guest list that she had approved. Then she remembered. The NHL had sent in their guest names directly to her assistant.

“I’m here filming some content for the Seattle Kraken,” he explained, “I have become the unofficial F1 expert and we do videos.”

Lauren nodded her head softly. “Oh yeah,” she uttered, “I have seen some of them. It’s good stuff.”

“You’ve seen them?” he feigned surprise. His ego was just large enough to have noticed that Lauren had never unfollowed him on Instagram. It gave him a feeling of regret every time he got the notification that she watched his content. She, on the other hand, had set her profile to private and he didn’t have the courage to request to follow her again.

Their break-up had not been particularly bitter. They had simply drifted apart after he was drafted by the Ottawa Senators and made the move. She stayed to finish her degree, and he began his career. The air was filled with the tension from the lack of closure that had loomed over them for years.

“What are you doing here?” he asked as a way to break the tension.

“Oh, I am here for work,” she smiled. She saw him tilt his head and wait for more details. “I work for Snapchat now. I am in charge of our presence here at the race.”

“Wow,” he looked around, “You did all of this?” In his career, he had been to countless marketing events, but the party successfully balanced being a fun party while promoting the brand. “It’s impressive, Lori,” he smiled, “It really is.”

Lauren’s head snapped up to look at him when he said the nickname he had given to her while they were dating at ASU. The memories began to flood back and flow over her like honey to her soul. She remembered his kindness that balanced with the youthful exuberance of an athlete on his way to a professional career. They started out as friends but crossed over into a romantic relationship at a post-game party celebrating Joey’s shutout against his hometown Boston College. The transition had been easy and they became as inseparable as they could be after that.

Joey watched her for a moment. It was like the past almost five years had never passed and she was still the same Lori that he knew like the back of his hand. “Can I buy you a drink?” he asked, “I feel like we should celebrate your success.”

Lauren laughed, “It’s an open bar, Ace. Technically Snapchat is buying both of us drinks.” Joey grinned at her use of his nickname and at the return of their playful banter. “But yes, I would like to have a drink with you and catch up.”

One drink turned into another which turned into another. Those drinks turned into a few spins around the dance floor in between Lauren’s quick check-ins with the party vendors and her team. Joey watched in silent amazement at her ability to make quick decisions and keep her calm and collected manner. By the end of the night, Joey had waved off the after-party invitation by the Montreal Canadiens player contingent.

Instead he insisted on escorting Lauren back to the Ritz Carlton hotel. Once they arrived, they lingered outside her room for a while. Neither one of them wanted the night to end, but both were too shy to make a move. Instead they talked about their schedule for the upcoming day. Joey would be filming content at the racetrack while getting to experience his first F1 race in person. Lauren would bounce between the Snapchat booth on the race concourse and the VIP section.

Finally, Lauren could no longer bear the pain of being in her high heels. She moved to open the door and turned to Joey. “We can keep talking in my room if you like, but I have to get out of these shoes,” she said as casually as possible even though her heart raced with the implication of inviting him back into her room. It was eerily familiar to the first time she had invited him into her dorm room in college. Both invitations were clear signal that the evening was going to become decidedly un-platonic.

Joey readily agreed. They walked into the room. Lauren made a mad dash to the bedroom closet and she called back, “I am going to change into something comfortable. Go ahead and get you something from the mini-bar if you want.” Joey looked around the suite which was considerably larger than his standard sized room before he poured himself a drink.

Lauren emerged from the bedroom dressed in an oversized ASU hockey t-shirt and shorts. Joey’s eyebrows raised slightly as he recognized the shirt. “Is that my shirt?” he asked in astonishment. Lauren looked down and nodded in affirmation. “You still have my shirt after all of these years?” he asked quietly. He assumed that after the breakup that Lauren went through stereotypical “scorched earth” breakup routines that his most recent ex had adopted. “Why?” he asked as he joined her on the sofa.

Out of habit, he placed her feet on his lap and began to rub them. Lauren bit her tongue to keep the soft moan from escaping her mouth while she contemplated her answer. Joey gave the best foot rubs. She answered his question with a question of her own. “Why would I get rid of it?” she said almost rhetorically. She looked him in the eye, “When we ended, I didn’t think that you would want it back. I mean, I had possession of it for almost three years at that point.” A soft grin spread across his face and she continued. “I kept it because it is a memento of the time that we shared together,” she explained, “I didn’t have hard feelings so I kept it.”

Joey’s mind wandered back to the years that they were together. They were happier, simpler times or at least they way that he recalled them. Maybe you could chalk it up to the lack of true responsibilities or it being a college romance, but things felt easy and comfortable. Joey racked his brain to pinpoint a reason for the feeling, but ultimately, the only thing he could conclude was Lauren felt like home. She felt like a home that he missed.

Lauren studied Joey’s face as he got lost in thought. She couldn’t read his mind but if she would realize that they were feeling the same way. Unfortunately, she wasn’t a mind reader and concluded that her feelings were decidedly one-sided. But still, she recognized the look that settled on his face. It was a look of desire. One that she had seen countless times.

“Don’t look at me like that, Ace,” she cautioned.

“Look at you like what?” he grinned.

“You know what I am talking about,” she responded with a shy smile.

Joey removed her feet from his lap and began to crawl closer to her. “I swear, I don’t know what look you are talking about,” he cajoled, “You don’t like it?” Lauren made no attempt to move away from his advance. He hovered his body over her body before she gave the nod of consent. He kissed her neck in the spot he knew that she found irresistible.

“No,” she moaned. He resumed his hovering position instantly. “I like it very much,” she wrapped her hands behind his neck and raked her fingers through his thick brown hair. Then she kissed him in such a way that left no doubt that her consent was freely given and she wanted him just as much as he wanted her.

“I missed you, Lori,” he whimpered as his hands explored her body.

“Show me,” Lauren said as she wrapped her legs around his thick thighs.

5 AM - LAUREN’S HOTEL SUITE

Lauren used her phone flashlight as a light as she rummaged through her suitcase to find her clothes for the day. She hummed to herself before she looked over at Joey’s body, only partly covered by the high-quality hotel sheet. She inhaled sharply as she allowed her eyes to linger over the defined muscles of his abs.

The rest of the night had been as easy and comfortable as the evening. The sense of familiarity lowered her inhibitions, and she had allowed Joey to take her to the heights of ecstasy. It had been satisfying but left her wanting more. She mentally chastised herself. “Don’t get ahead of yourself, L,” she sighed, “You don’t know what he wants.”

She wanted to stay in bed and wake up leisurely. She wanted to take the time to see if he would give any clue of how he felt, but today was not the day. It was literally the most day of her career and she needed to focus.

After she dressed, she wrote a quick note and left it on his side of the bed.

“Ace - sorry I didn’t say goodbye, but you looked so peaceful. I have to head out early, but take your time. Feel free to order room service and come see me, if you want.”

THREE HOURS LATER - SnapChat Booth

It had been a whirlwind of activity, but Lauren and her team had the SnapChat Booth ready for the F1 race fans. In addition to giving out F1 themed swag, a set of selfie stations had been constructed to allow fans to picture themselves with the top racers and their cars. Lauren ruminated that perhaps she had overestimated the amount of time the set-up would take and now found herself in the calm before the storm when the gates opened up. She took the opportunity to make a trip to the VIP section for a coffee and breakfast run. Afterwards, she sat a table overlooking the track and pulled out her phone.

Her mind drifted to Joey and she scrolled through his instagram. She found the first F1 he had posted and clicked it. She smiled to herself as he introduced himself. His boyish charm and smile still had her hooked. She listened as the question was posed to him - “How did he become interested in F1?” Lauren straightened in her seat and brought the phone closer to her face. “A friend from college introduced me to it,” was his answer. She felt her stomach drop. “A friend from college?” she repeated in her mind. Was that what she had been reduced to in his mind? Just a friend?

The last night flashed through her mind. Had her mind played tricks on her? She was under no illusion that their reunion signaled that they were back together, but there had been something between them. Was it a return to the ease and familiarity of their relationship? That remained to be seen, but it definitely wasn’t a casual hook-up. She was sure of it. She watched the video again before she forced herself to close the app and return to work. She also turned off her notifications on all apps except the WhatsApp group chat that kept her team connected. Then she put her head down and focused on work.

The day flew by and the booth had proved to be a resounding success. She put the thought of Joey Daccord out of her head. Well, she tried to put him out of her mind, but flashes of memories kept intruding. She wondered how his day was going and if his first F1 experience was living up to the hype. With each intrusive thought, she pushed it away as quickly as possible.

It wasn’t until almost 5 PM that she realized that the noise that she kept hearing was not coming from the track, but from her stomach. Lauren sent a quick text to her team and then headed to the VIP catering area for sustenance.

As Lauren left from one side of the booth, Joey entered from the other side. Her team was buzzing around the booth when he entered. He looked around for Lauren without success. He had sent several text messages earlier in the day that had been unread. He chalked it up to her being busy.

“Can I help you?” Millie, Lauren’s assistant, called over to him. As a lifelong hockey fan, she recognized him immediately.

Joey looked around again, “Uhhhhh yeah….. I was looking for my friend, Lauren. Have you seen her?”

Millie blinked in stunned silence before blurting out, “You just missed her. She went to the VIP section to get something to eat.” Joey frowned slightly and she continued, “She went that way.

TEN MINUTES LATER - VIP section

Lauren had finally settled into a quiet table in the corner and started to eat as she scrolled her phone. Millie had sent a text to her via Whatsapp.

Millie - OMG, I didn’t know that you were friends with Joey Daccord.

Lauren stared at her phone in disbelief, trying to process how Millie would have that knowledge.

“You’re a tough person to track down,” he called to her as he walked across the VIP section. Her eyes flashed with unexplained anger.

“And why are you trying to track me down?” she said with more bitterness than she intended, “I mean - I am just a friend, right?”

Joey stopped in his tracks. “What do you mean?”

“Millie said that you were looking for your “friend” Lauren,” she spat out. Joey’s mind raced. Lauren was upset, but he was unsure why. “Is that all that I am to you?” she sighed as her eyes filled with unexpected tears, “A friend?”

Joey opened and shut his mouth several times. He looked down before looking into her eyes, “I said friend because it was your work tent. I don’t know how much you share about your personal life at work.”

“I saw the video this morning,” she said added.

“The video?” he questioned.

“The F1 one,” she explained, “The one where you said that 'your friend' got you into F1.” She had used air quotes around the words your friend.

“Oh,” he uttered. He looked at her and tried to read her mind. If she saw it this morning, it must have been a blow. If she felt one iota of the feelings that had flooded back in his soul over the past twenty four hours, she must have been devastated. A knot formed in the pit of his stomach.

“Look,” he began, “You saw that video this morning, but it was made months ago. Things were different.”

She stared at him and he heard her silent question of “different how?”

He wanted to tell her the truth, but instead blurted out, “What was I supposed to say? It was a video for the team. Was I supposed to ‘the one that got away” got me into F1? Yeah, that would have gone over well with my girlfriend!”

Both inhaled sharply.

Lauren thought, “Oh.”

Joey thought, “Oh no”

They stood in an emotional standoff. Finally Lauren said, “I don’t know which to address first - the one that got away comment or the girlfriend comment.”

Joey panicked as he realized what he just implied , “Not current girlfriend. I don’t have a girlfriend now. We broke up.” He continued - unable to stop himself. “We broke up right after the season ended,” he said before he added, “It wasn’t going to work out. She had turned Team Red Bull, and that was just a dealbreaker right there.” He chuckled bitterly. The idea that following an opposing F1 team would be a dealbreaker amused him.

“Really?” Lauren asked. She was familiar with his habit of deflecting with humor.

“What?” he balked, “Lori - you know that sarcasm is my love language.”

Lauren wanted to let him off the hook, but couldn’t allow herself. She had left off the hook too easily when left for Ottawa. Now older and wiser, she wasn’t going to do it a second time. Not after they had unleashed the avalanche of emotions that she had buried five years prior. “How am I the one that got away?” she quizzed, “It seemed to me like I was the one who left for greener pastures.”

“I didn’t want to leave you,” he pleaded.

“But you did,” she said, “Why did you not ask me to go with you?”

“You had to finish school. I had to focus on making the team,” he answered earnestly. “I didn’t think it was fair to ask you to give up your dreams in pursuit of mine. We were young and the long distance thing was only going to lead to a slow and painful death to us.”

“So you gave up?” she said as the tears fell, “You just gave up on us?”

“Lori…..” he stammered as he tried to collect his thoughts. “If you think for one minute that I haven’t regretted that choice every day since, then you are dead wrong. I regretted it then, and I regret it now.”

“So what are you saying?” she asked.

“I am saying that I want a second chance,” he answered, “I am saying that I will do whatever it takes to win you back. I know that’s going to take a lot and I am going to have to work to earn you.”

Lauren looked at him. It was like the past five years had been mere moments. There he was - the Joey that she loved and adored. He was here, and he wanted her. He wanted a second chance. She could almost feel her heart burst with love, but she couldn’t let him off that easily.

“I don’t know,” she asked “Do you think we can handle the long distance?”

“I can handle anything if I get to be with you,” he looked at her with hopeful eyes.

“I mean ten miles…..” she teased, “Do you think you can handle it?”

He blinked, “Ten miles?”

“Yes,” she smiled, “It’s ten miles from my apartment to Climate Pledge Arena.” He looked confused and she continued. “Where do I work now?” she questioned him.

“Snapchat!” he said excitedly when he drew the connection. Snapchat that had offices in Seattle. Snapchat that had advertisements on the practice rink walls. Snapchat that group outings announced at Kraken games. “You work at Snapchat. You work near me.”

He went to kiss her but paused before he made contact. His lips grazed hers, “So you’ll give us a second chance?”

“I prefer the term comeback, but yes,” she nodded with a sly grin before she pulled him to her and kissed him first. When they came up for air, Joey held fist in the air. “Daccord retakes the lead,” he said before he kissed her again, “and we are going to cross the finish line together.”

The inaugural HTML Tryhard 2025 Fanfiction Event Week has come to a close. Thanks so much to everyone who participated! All entries for this event can be found on the AO3 collection.

This year, we had a total of 21 works spanning 24 fandoms. The biggest fandom to participate was Harry Potter, which currently has total of 555,256 works on AO3, and the smallest fandom to participate was Leviathan - Thomas Hobbes, which has a current total of 2 works on AO3.

Y'all contributed to create exactly half of this fandom tag.

The biggest overlap was the Batman - All Media Types fandom, at 3 entries. A majority of entries were the only entry for their fandom. It really goes to show that writers from all fandoms are finding fun and innovative new ways to tell stories.

It's almost like you tried to actively avoid each other.

We only had 2 HTML tutorial entries, but that means we had 19 story entries! That's a lot! Not only did people write chat fics and fancy new-age epistolary stories (with in-universe posts from Twitter, Tumblr, Snapchat, and even Yikyak), they also wrote choose your own adventure stories (with multiple endings!), and works that were completely unique that pushed the boundaries of storytelling.

The event collection will be officially closed on this coming Sunday (1/26), but if you have additional entries to add, just let us know.

So I've been thinking about a new type of content creation.

Not new in general. Just new for me. Something I've never tried before.

Been tossing an idea around in my head for months, and it never goes past just imagining what it would be like. But it started with a Snap that I sent a group chat on Snapchat one day. I recorded myself studying and sent it to the group chat because we were all just talking about what we were up to. And they said that the lofi, the lighting, the cute stuff on my desk, my handwriting, the sound of the pen on the paper -- it all made them want to just go to sleep, that it was just so cozy lol. "You should make a youtube channel or a tiktok," they said. I have often wondered if it's something I should put effort into. I enjoy playing the "come [insert hobby here] with me" videos in the background when I want to relax. I could easily do "come crochet/write/study/game with me" videos. Lots of royalty free music out there, and I can always change the desk decor around, and the LED colors of my desk lol. Any thoughts? It might even motivate me to put effort into my pastimes if I feel like other people are getting enjoyment out of it. Plus I want to give off this type of "we make mistakes here, but it's okay!" type of vibe. Like if we drop a stitch and gotta frog our work, we say it's okay and go back and fix it. If we die in the video game and have to start over, it's okay, we learned something for next time. But I would want to make it clear that none of my videos are for tutorial purposes, just relaxation. A pocket of the internet where you can go and be cozy. And probably won't do any voiceover on any videos because it might break immersion.
