The Eclipse Ep 11

Well that was sure an episode. I'm biased so of course I still liked it but the last half got me feeling confused lmao. Very cute and light, but somewhat out of place considering the sheer fucking heaviness I had to sit through at ass-crack.

Honestly surprised that the Dika x Chadok thing actually happened but narratively it makes sense, parallels and shit. What could have happened to Akk and Ayan, the road not taken.

However, I felt that it was resolved pretty quickly? Like everything after part 3 was resolved....without that much of a fuss. Cause how the fuck did we get from screaming at each other, betrayal, outing your friends (and boyfriend), to making a movie? This feels very Bad Buddy of them, where Pat got suddenly shot and Pran's friend is just as suddenly okay again after also very publicly outing them for no other reason than them hiding it. P'Aof, I fucking see you.

Oh well, Thai BL giveth and Thai BL taketh away. I mean I love you The Eclipse, but pacing has always been an issue with GMMTV shows and I won't exactly fault you for that. I guess the ep 11 curse was pacing and plot that was solely reserved for like the first two parts. Everyone scared Akk was gonna do a Dika is now like welp. I think if they had one more episode it would've been resolved better.

I can't fucking believe that all of this was resolved with a fucking movie what the fuck lmao. They really got us in the first half with those high ass stakes and emotional reactions. But teenagers I guess. Still fucking hate you to bits Chadok, and Thua? You on fucking thin ice but I also understand his character.

This show is too fucking good at whiplash, and generally I like/don't mind it, but seriously we could've done with another episode between the later parts.

Fuck it, my complaint is solely at GMM TV because you couldn't have given us one more ep? Just ONE more ep?

I kept thinking of little baby man Phantom and the potential of Danny being an actual baby of the Infinite Realms. However, he’s more snake teenager than itty bitty Little Baby Man edition, cause I think it’d be so funny to just — imagine this teenage snake curled up in a summoning circle, obviously having been taking a nap and looking up with his big green, sleepy eyes and Constantine just stares and freaks because, “THATS A WHOLE ASS BABY, PUT IT BACK!”

But they can’t because apparently the summoning was more of a ‘knock knock I’m a babysitter’ and Danny’s ghost parent decided that this was the perfect time to have some time for themselves if Heroes were so willing to take care of Danny for a little while.

Another take — mainly in reference to a different post about Klarion actually just being a toddler of the infinite realms with no ideas on how to human and thinks him fighting with heroes is just a play date — zooms into the human realm where the heroes are and just goes, “Hey I’m dropping my baby sibling onto you guys cause my dad got mad last time Danny got hurt by the humans I hang with. So here you go, I’ll pick him up later.”

A teenage snake Danny is dropped into a hero’s arms where he mainly grumbles and then shifts to better take a nap. Klarion drops the baby essentials at them with no further explanations other then “here’s their favorite blanket, if they get fussy taco them; here’s the baby milk make sure it’s -200 F, they have an ice core, etc.” and then just DISAPPEARS after leaving what amounts to a month old infant in human heroes care.

polls reveal just how many people use tumblr without interacting with posts. these polls with 100k votes but 10k reblogs, if that... it's been obvious for a few years just how many people have come from other websites and refuse to learn how to use tumblr based on the reblog to like ratio skyrocketing in likes' favor (when reblogs used to be higher than likes on popular posts) but seeing these actual numbers revealed by polls (since few can resist voting on a poll) is crazy

This is a random tip, but if you want a deeper voice but are having trouble with consistently keeping it low when you're speaking, check that you aren't subconsciously tensing your throat. This especially goes for those who have trouble speaking (such as semi-verbal folk) who may have learned to ignore the amount of effort they put into speaking.

This is a little complicated, so I'm going to heavily simplify things, but. The pitch of your voice depends on your vocal cords, which are located in your throat. Tensing your throat also causes those vocal cords to tense up, which means your voice comes out higher. Relaxing your throat does the opposite, which makes your voice come out deeper. You don't need to teach yourself to keep your voice low, you just need to teach yourself to keep your throat relaxed, and your body will naturally lower your voice. (And if you want a higher voice, just switch it around and tense up your throat!) It can take a while to get used to, and may even feel like you're straining your voice at first, but rest assured, it's merely due to your body being unused to the practice, just like all other vocal practices beyond what a person typically does. Just don't purposefully strain your voice/hurt your throat by trying to force anything; voice training such as this can be uncomfortable at first, as it is unfamiliar, but it shouldn't become a source of pain. Remember to drink water frequently when first making this a habit to help your throat adjust, and you should be fine.

This has been random voice tips from *checks credentials* some random plural who takes voice lessons. Hope this helps someone out there.

a silly shoujo concept with jade where he picks up your notebook after you've left it in class. resourceful eel that he is, he flips through the pages out of curiosity. he's certain he'll just find your notes or doodles you've made out of boredom, but it never hurts to pry just a little. he won't tell a soul if he finds anything embarrassing. certainly not!

to his surprise, he finds a bucket list of sorts, which details all of the things you hope to accomplish by the end of your time at nrc. you're quite methodical about this list. there are academic goals. personal goals. social goals. you've checked some of them off: do well on this year's midterm. commit to an exercise routine. make more friends. etc. etc.

but then he happens upon the romantic goals. things like holding hands, kissing, cuddling, going on dates, sharing meals... he reads through every item on this specific list and finds himself blushing like a lovestruck maiden. it's not because of the nature of this list but, rather, the notes you've made in the margin: possible people to try this with: jade leech?

and his name is the only one you've written! :O is this...an indirect love confession? do you have feelings for him? is now a good time to hopefully try to kindle a deeper bond with you after he's spent so much time pining from the sidelines??????

tl;dr - jade wants to be the one to complete the goals on your romance list, but you're too prideful (and suspicious of him) to admit you'd ever think of him in such a light! that's too embarrassing! too much opportunity to be exploited. and jade's a bit of a shameless coward.

The interpretation of Rise Raph as a 'perfect responsible soft boy uwu' is so BORING I'm sorry, Raph is a rowdy adrenaline junkie with anxiety and I won't take this slander any longer

Raph secretly kept an enemy soldier in their actual literal house as a sparring partner. Raph glued his brothers together and dragged them out to fight crime. Raph once asked Leo to punch him in the face to prove he 'takes damage like a boss.' Raph tried to lift a school bus, twice. Raph offered to help his favorite wrestler beat his little brother up. When Leo suggests evacuating Bullhop, Raph says no bc the best defense is a good offense babey. Raph's idea of a 'friendly chat' with April's upstairs neighbor is to put on a black ski mask and go stand menacingly at their door. It takes Raph 10 episodes to conclude that they should MAYBE start training. Raph's plan to get a potentially priceless (and potentially FRAGILE) museum artifact is to punch a car in the middle of a busy street and also cut it in half with his brother still inside.

Raph's never met a problem he wouldn't try to punch in the face and does not know the meaning of the words 'excessive force.' He roughhouses with his bros and drags them out to fight villains and thinks any plan that doesn't involve an all-out brawl is boring and lame. He'll do anything to protect his family from harm and be a hero, but also he eats wet salami off the floor and once single-handedly destroyed a library.

I just adore how, at his core, Rise Raph is such a classic Raph—impulsive and stubborn and caring and passionate. He is a very sweet, strong, honorable guy who has a very powerful sense of personal responsibility... and he is also the exact kind of jock who throws you in the pool at a party without checking if you have your phone in your pocket first.
