I slept rly deeply last night even tho it took me a while to get to sleep but I think that was bc I had acid reflux and I'd been playing videogames too late not anything else.... still only got 6 hrs but doing pretty okay all things considered 😚
#and not feeling sick this morning so im sticking w the higher dose for one more day. my heart rate does feel a little uncomfortably fast#but its tolerable. just gonna make notes of how it goes through the day and ill submit my review form to my dr this evening#and hopefully she'll give me the green light to drop back down instead of continuing to titrate up#this is making me think of those heartrate fetishists... do u think i could make money selling tachycardic heart recordings online#i do wanna try to exercise this morning while i have energy. might take the bike out it looks like a gorgeously sunny day#maybe ill try to map my cycle route to work so i can consider cycling there instead of taking the bus in a couple weeks..#i cant atm thp cuz they have scaffolding up and its blocked off the bike racks sadly 😔#i think making myself eat + drink as much as i can has helped control the nausea too. just need a lot of fuel to process meds properly ig#and a lot of sleep.. its a bit stressful to think abt how rigid im going to have to be abt my daily routines if i want to stay medicated#but to be honest i have a pretty rock solid sleep/meal routine already bc its the only way i can function with the hours i work#so like. i dont rly need to worry too much. i think i reacted badly the first couple days bc my base anxiety was high#and then bc that feeling was heightened by meds -> made me not eat/sleep properly -> knock on sickness the next day#but yeah still the side effects arent very nice and i dont wanna take the risk of it exacerbating every difficult emotion i deal with#but fingers crossed bc 30 worked rly nice for me and i had barely any side effects so hopefully i can settle w that long term 🤞#we will see....#ANYWAY. sorry for making the same post over and over the last couple days. talking abt it on here has helped me feel a lot calmer#i dont wanna bother ppl irl w every thought and physical symptom i experience hourly. but this is my blog i can do what i want#hope everyone else has a nice sunday <3#.diaries

Support group for people who want to lose weight not for body image issues or anything but because they want to fit into their brothers' trousers since they can't otherwise get their hands on men's clothes
#just a little. they do overall fit me but the waist is a bit too tight for them to sit comfortably#curse you... child bearing hips......#i'll still have to fight with Mother over keeping them since Brother has outgrown them. but at least they're Here already#mytext#my biggest obstacle is that i'm a lazy slug akslfkgjvn i'm pretty average with just some chub in the hips-to-knees area (classic)#and i've never really cared to change that especially since my weight hasn't really changed in years but.#for brother's cargo trousers........ try we shall 🫡#it's all really because i don't do any kind or exercise or physical activity at all. which i should first or all due to the health factor#but. lazy. whack. too much anxiety to try things out alone (like going to the gym instead of improvising stuff at home). whack.#but with a concrete objective... a routine that i can stick to...... hopefully..........#if i ever do get the courage to go to the gym or find a soul willing to accompany me at least for the first day though.....#we gotta make these arms bigger and muscular boygirlfriend

forgot that part of the reason i don't work out much is the horrible back and shoulder pain and pulled pectorals -_- i need top surgery stat
#like 90% sure i could qualify for breast reduction#idk im trying to add stretches and yoga to mitigate it and im gonna buy a new sports bra#but i mostly am exercising by adding stuff to my daily routine like walking up n down stairs while waiting for the bus or like#adding an extra bit to my walk home or running a couple blocks or whatever#which are all horrible for my back#but if i tried lower impact stuff or to go work those specific muscles i just. wouldn't stick to it. cos adhd#idk. forming habits is really goddamn hard for me. realistically need to do a PT routine for my back and shoulders and neck#but idk how ill ever stick to it

I always hoped i would get more years of living than the average person since i am so behind on everything..... i think it's why i've never been afraid of growing up and getting older before, and why i still long for the 'normalcy' of adulthood . To do the simple things everyone else does...... i believed all differences between me and my peers would disappear at some magical age, let's say 40 for example. I believed i will pass all the 'important social milestones' by then and that the everpresent feeling of otherness will become... more background
#get a routine stick tothe routine exercise regularly learn how to cook learn household chores get a job learn how to#keep a conversation going.#but it's just the baseline. if i struggle so hard with the baseline... how can i ever become anything more than that?

weirdly rly motivated to work out today let's go
#well its not that weird i like exercise but ive just been finding it difficult the past week. but hyped this morning#gonna do this bike loop should be 1.5-2 hours. and then if i still have juice left when i get back ill do 40 mins of triceps too#one great thing abt getting into working out is that it becomes self motivating after a while. partly bc its associated w reward#either like literal reward (protein shake) or emotional (satisfaction + endorphin/neurotransmitter release)#but also bc some days i dont rly wanna and then ill think hm but my arms do look rly good today.. and then im like Well-#the health benefits of exercise and whatever are great but thats never been enough to push me to do it by itself#like lets be real. most of my drive comes from getting a kick out of feeling and looking strong...#nothing wrong w being a bit vain tho 😚 i think the most crucial thing if u wanna integrate exercise into ur life more is being honest-#abt what u wanna get out of it most. and adjusting ur attitude to it around that in a positive way#ur never gonna stick to an exercise routine if ur motivating urself w negativity and shame and talking urself down#or at least its never worked for me! maybe it does for some ppl tho lol#anyway im procrastinating now cuz i have to take the front wheel off my bike to carry it downstairs which is an annoying task#but just imagining a dyke seeing the bike grease on my hands and sweat on my arms and getting flustered... okay yeah im going now#.diaries

Rebranding Yourself in 90 Days: A Universe of You | IT GIRL DIARIES

The journey to rebrand yourself isn’t just about external changes—it's about cultivating an entirely new internal reality, a universe where you are in control. Mental change is just as powerful, if not more, than physical change. Within 90 days, you can tap into your self-concept, discipline, dopamine, and accountability, helping yourself reset and thrive. How?..
A Self-Concept
Your self-concept is the foundation of this transformation. The image you hold of yourself shapes how you act, feel, and respond to life. Rebranding yourself means updating that image. Consider who you want to be—stronger, more disciplined, elegant, and intentional. Visualize this every day and align your habits accordingly.
Discipline
Discipline fuels rebranding. It’s what bridges the gap between who you are and who you aspire to be. You’ve already taken steps with healthy eating habits, daily green juices, consistent exercise, and skincare routines. Continue building on these to stay disciplined. Small daily actions—like starting your day with lemon water, pulling coconut oil, or following your workout regime—stack into monumental changes.
Dopamine
We often associate dopamine with unhealthy habits, but it can be rechanneled to serve your goals. By tying small wins—like completing a workout or sticking to your skincare routine—to positive rewards, you hack your brain’s dopamine system. It’s about retraining your mind to find joy in the discipline rather than instant gratification.
Accountability
As you work toward rebranding, it’s essential to acknowledge both your past and present. Mistakes you’ve made, times you’ve slipped up or lacked discipline—these moments are part of your story. But instead of letting them weigh you down, forgive yourself. Recognize that missteps don’t define you, but your ability to rise after them does. Forgiveness unlocks your potential to keep moving forward with compassion for yourself. By learning from your past, you free yourself to fully embrace the person you’re becoming.
____
In 90 days, you can create an entirely new universe where you embody discipline, embrace positive habits, and radiate elegance in every facet of your life. By focusing on self-concept, discipline, dopamine, and accountability, your transformation will extend beyond appearance—it will become the essence of who you are.

Love Slip
bakugo katsuki x fem!reader
genre: fluff
contains: established relationship, a bit suggestive at one point
short continuation of Nip Slip 18+
It's been a while since the two of you started dating. Approximately three months, two days and forty-three minutes. But who's keeping count?
During your time together, you've come to learn many things about the blond ticking time bomb:
One, he's a very organized and clean guy. He has to-do lists separated into categories in his phones' notepad app, a strict schedule he follows everyday to stay in shape — not that he needs it, but getting to brag about being able to lift you up certainly strokes his ego — and an extremely neat room that stays neat no matter what. He brushes his teeth three times a day, eats healthy meals, has a proper skincare routine and smells of sweet caramel even when he's dripping with sweat coming back from the gym or from an intense training session with your classmates. ln short, his hygiene is top notch.
Two, he's a little bit of a gym freak. Not that you'd ever mind, you even find it hot most of the time, but sometimes he gets provoked by his other gym buddies, mainly Kirishima and Kaminari, to try out all sorts of exercises with you on his back. Push-ups, squats, even yoga poses, literally anything they can think of just to see if it'd work. You've fallen on your ass more than he'd like, or care, to admit. Not because he wasn't strong, no, but because you cannot concentrate on holding onto him for the life of you, always getting distracted by the way his muscles flex and how he grunts from exertion. It's a sight for sore eyes, strands of hair sticking to his forehead while his usually spiky hair dampens and falls down beautifully, framing his face. It reminds you of your first night together, so of course you wouldn't be able to pay attention to anything else. You don't mention how incredibly good he looks in his compression shirts. Yes, he bought multiple after you oggled him up and hinted at loving the way they fit muscly men.
And last but not least, he's clingier than anyone you've ever met which is a stark, and quite frankly adorable, contrast to his sharp appearance. You're working on some assignments? He's bringing you food and making himself comfortable on your bed while putting on a weird dating show on the TV, occasionally checking up on you to remind you to take breaks. You're going for a quick grocery run? He doesn't waste a second to throw on whatever clothes he can find and join you, walking around the store with the shopping cart and imagining you two as a married couple well into your marriage shopping for your little family. You're taking a bath? Scooch over, he's helping you wash your hair and back. You're feeling sad? He's bringing your favorite ice cream and listening to you vent while gently running his hands over your face, back, thighs, arms, anywhere to soothe you. He cradles your face when your sobbing gets louder, pressing his forehead against yours to help ground you into reality, to snap yourself out of your worries by murmuring “I'm here, baby,” or “I got you”. All in all, he's a big softie for you.
He often shows his affection through his actions, but sometimes when the two of you are alone and in the silence of your bedrooms, he pushes his embarrassment aside and spills his heart out. He vents about hero work, about how he doesn't think he's good enough, or rather, nice enough to be a hero, always ending up berating people to hide his true intentions and words. It's something he's always struggled with, but he's been working on it constantly with you, his friends, and in therapy. He tells you everything about what happened during his time in highschool, how the man literally died for a minute, and how much that impacted his life onwards. You listen intently and comfort him through it, crushing him into a tight embrace to remind him you're there for him as well and that you'd do anything to make him happy. He tells you that your presence is enough.
He whispers soft “I love you”'s each night before you two drift off to sleep, letting his hand rest on the small of your back underneath your shirt, needing to feel your skin against his to be able to sleep. The warmth your body provides gets rid of his reoccurring nightmares and allows him to sleep soundly throughout the night with you by his side. And he very quickly realizes he never wants to lose you. Ever.
Because he might've slipped into having a little crush on you, but he willingly chose to fall in love with you.

NEW YEAR, NEW ME
this is a collab w the it girl @prettieinpink !!
HABITS TO IMPLEMENT
Movement (yoga, running, Pilates, walking, gym, etc. Anything that allows you to move your body
Reflection- make a note of things you would like to improve on. This could be self-love, relationships,
STAY CONSISTENT
Consistency is key. Make sure to stick to your plan and keep working towards your goals every day. Even small steps are progress. Try to make your goal part of your daily routine.
HOW TO STAY CONSISTENT
SCHEDULE- Setting schedules helps really well with consistency. Make a schedule for the tasks you need to do daily or weekly to achieve your goals. This can help you make your goals a part of your routine, making it easier to stay consistent.
STAY ORGANIZED- Keep track of your tasks and goals. Use tools like calendars, to-do lists, or apps to help you stay organized and remember what you need to do.
DISCIPLINE YOURSELF- Sometimes, you won't feel like working towards your goals, and that's okay. The key is to maintain discipline and do the task anyway. Remember, consistency is about doing the task regularly, not just when you feel like it.
START SMALL- Don't overwhelm yourself with huge tasks. Start small and gradually increase your workload as you build consistency.
DON’T BE TOO HARD ON YOURSELF- If you miss a day, don't beat yourself up. Instead, acknowledge that it happened, understand why, and move on. Consistency is about long-term progress, not perfection.
CREATE A PLAN
Once you know what your goals are, create a step-by-step plan on how to achieve them. Break down each goal into smaller, manageable tasks. This might involve creating a timeline, setting deadlines, or identifying resources or tools you might need.
LEAVE THINGS IN THE PAST
In 2023, I’m sure everyone has had ups and downs, but not letting them define you as a person is something that has to be done in order for you to become a new person.
HOW TO LEAVE THINGS IN THE PAST
ACCEPTANCE- Acknowledge the past and accept it as part of your life story. Understand that it's something that has shaped you but doesn't define you.
FORGIVENESS- Forgive yourself and others. Holding onto resentment only harms you. Letting go of grudges can bring a sense of peace and open up space for healthier relationships.
LEARN FROM IT- Every experience, good or bad, is an opportunity to learn. Reflect on these experiences and use them as stepping stones to better decisions in the future.
FOCUS ON THE PRESENT- The past is unchangeable, but the present is in your control. Concentrate on what you can do now to create a positive future.
SET NEW GOALS- Create new objectives for yourself. This gives you something to work towards and helps shift your focus from the past to the future.
PRACTISE MINDFULNESS- Mindfulness is about staying focused on the present moment. Practices like meditation can help you stay grounded and prevent you from dwelling on the past.
ADJUST YOUR PLAN AS NEEDED
It's okay if your initial plan doesn't work out exactly as you thought. Life happens, and it's important to be flexible and adapt your plan as needed. If you find that a certain approach isn't working, don't be afraid to try something different.
PRACTICE SELF CARE
Remember to take care of yourself physically, emotionally, and mentally. This can include things like getting enough sleep, eating healthy, exercising regularly, and taking time to relax and do things you enjoy. Don't forget that self-care is an important part of reaching your goals.
WAYS TO PRACTICE SELF CARE-
BALANCED DIET- There is no need to restrict yourself from foods but eating a healthy, balanced diet is crucial for maintaining physical health. Try to include plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains in your diet.
EXERCISE REGULARLY- Regular physical activity can help reduce stress, improve mood, and boost overall health. This doesn't necessarily mean going to the gym - it could be anything from a brisk walk to a yoga class
GET ENOUGH SLEEP- Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep per night. Establish a regular sleep schedule and create a relaxing bedtime routine to improve sleep quality.
STAY HYDRATED- Drinking enough water each day is important for overall health. Try to aim for at least 8 glasses per day.
TAKE BREAKS- Make sure to take regular breaks throughout the day, especially if you're working or studying. This can help prevent burnout and improve productivity.
DO THINGS YOU ENJOY- Make time for hobbies or activities you enjoy. This could be anything from reading a book to playing a sport to painting.
CELEBRATE SMALL THINGS
Don't wait until you've reached your big goal to celebrate. Celebrate small wins along the way to keep your motivation high. This could be treating yourself to something you enjoy, or simply taking a moment to acknowledge your achievement.
