Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel fans keep harping on about who would win in a fight - Stolas or Alastor. Here's my two cents.

What it comes down to is that Stolas IS extremely powerful, more powerful than Alastor - confirmed by VivziePop. And that's RAW infernal divine power. Unlike Alastor, Stolas doesn't feel the need to PROVE it in intimidation displays like Alastor is constantly doing. Alastor wants to be feared, he wants to be taken seriously, he's power hungry. While he's incredibly strong for an overlord, a lot of the reason people think he would win that fight because of bloodlust alone, which, granted, he has a lot of, and because hes a master manipulator and a sadist.

Stolas is a Goetia, a Prince of Hell. He doesn't have to prove his status or power to anyone. It's clear in the contained power that radiates from him, the way he moves, the way he acts. People with REAL power don't go around trying to prove it to everyone, it's clear in the way they carry themselves. Stolas LIKES letting Blitz rescue him. He doesn't WANT to hurt anyone. If it came down to protecting the ones he loves, like he did in Truth Seekers, we've seen his eldritch form - he's scary as shit, but the goal was ONLY to rescue Blitz. He left the humans ALIVE (that IMP hadn't killed already). When he ran away from Striker in the cafe he just wanted to get away - he could have killed striker before being bound with blessed rope but he didn't BECAUSE THATS NOT WHO HE IS.

He's patient, he's gentle, he's reserved with his powers, only using them when he needs to. Stolas is NOT A FIGHTER, but hell would SHAKE if someone he loves was threatened. God help the dumb sonofabitch that pushes him to ACTUALLY show his strength. He turned that imp to stone with a GLANCE, didn't even blink, like it was nothing. If he can do THAT with just a whisper of power imagine what he could do if he HAD to fight.

The ONLY way that Alastor would win in a fight against Stolas is if Stolas was holding back. Stolas would try to reason with him, be on defense, not attacking outright because he's a good person, and THAT is the advantage that Alastor would take.

real funny little guy I was introduced to him through seeing a shirtless mod that made several already somewhat queer scenes with him even more queer lol. also he dies so sadly and asking Leon (the protagonist) if he turned his life around which is both very catholic flavored and very depressing

Okay so i marked yes because the wiki says he was raised catholic but i can't find a source on that so here is what i for sure know: He does the sign of the cross with his gun when you play as him in the mercenaries mode and a major part of his character was that he grew up in an extremely backwater part of Spain. The head of the village when he lived there had the title of Father so thats Probably Catholic. A side novel released with the game about the village describes the village head as a priest and everyone in the village attending church on Sunday as well.

this guy drives me nuts for a variety of reasons including same age as my mom (not now but the game is set in 2004 so he would be now) he's very goofy and silly in a pretty scary kind of game, he eats floor three times in his second cutscene, and he has an extremely emotional and touching death scene (yeah he dies and im not over it). Also in the OG version of the game the protagonist literally never pronounces his name right even as he is dying (he dies in the original too yeah) so he deserves a break.

what i read in february 2023 📚

1. teatro grottesco by thomas ligotti - ★★★★ - picked this up because i randomly read one of his short stories on a train once and was so enamoured ... a short story collection centered around a subtle existential sort of horror that is less about gore and violence and more about something unknown but dreadful lurking in your peripheral vision . some of these, especially the ones from the deformations section, felt very welcome to night vale . delicious . makes you feel like a kid listening to scary campfire stories . i enjoy hanging out in the world created by this narrative voice so much

favourites: purity, the town manager, the clown puppet, my case for retributive action + in a foreign town, in a foreign land

2. the raven and the reindeer by t. kingfisher - ★★ - i think what im doing here is trying to read a fairytale retelling every month 👍 ... this really did not work for me though . the writing style felt so childish ( this could have been a book for twelve year olds ) + the story did not go anywhere and stayed extremely surface-level throughout the whole book . yeah sure there were lesbians but no actual substance whatsoever . the reading process was somewhat enjoyable because the humor was alright, but thats pretty much the only redeeming quality

3. the world keeps ending, and the world goes on by franny choi - ★★★ - i believe this is a case of ‘its not you its me’ because even though the way the author plays with language is straight up fascinating something about her poetry never clicks with me . i had the exact same issue with soft science as well - there is a certain detachment and coldness to her style that doesnt allow me to properly process the poems on an emotional level . still, i really liked the fourth section, it was so imaginative and full of the kind of resilience that is only born out of utter hopelessness

4. the passion by jeanette winterson - ★★★ - unfortunately i have the same issue here as with franny choi - something in me just always refuses to click with jeanette winterson . the author is trying to lead me somewhere by the hand but she is always slightly out of reach . this is my third book by her and while i can see and appreciate her craft it just never leaves a lasting impression on me its so strange ... i enjoyed the imagery + the philosophical ideas about love and passion but the story itself ... i dont know

5. the sandman: world’s end ( vol. 8 ) by neil gaiman - reread - i am not rating these god bless and putting them in the review post is probably not a good idea either since i ramble about them enough as is . what can i even say about a series that pretty much formed the way i understand the world and the human condition . stories within stories within stories . the foreshadowing here is insane and probably unnoticeable unless you are rereading . its hard to say what the writing process here was actually like perhaps it was way more spontaneous than i imagine but it all seems so meticulously and purposefully planned its just stunning

6. wyrd sisters by terry pratchett - ★★★ - ( looks above ) my reading order here is very ‘frequently bought together’ ‘do not separate them’ huh ... this was very shakespearean which was fun but not ideal for me personally because it means some things definitely flew right over my head . i think i enjoyed equal rites a little more ? however at the end of the day its just your typical discworld novel i laughed i witnessed some well-written women and losermen i laughed some more . what else could i ask for

7. when i grow up i want to be a list of further possibilities by chen chen - ★★★★ - wonderfully heart-warming and radiant and witty and has the power to restore your belief in love and tenderness at least for a moment . this kind of literal and confessional american poetry usually isnt for me but miraculously chen chen made it work ! basically the hype is well deserved

up next: im actually not sure im trying to slow down since i need to get through some college textbooks 💔 ... + im sure want to finish the sandman which is really enough for the next one thousand years . considering mrs. dalloway by virginia woolf too someone called it a spring read once and ive wanted to read it during this season ever since

HISAKO KAMINO

Hisako is the illegitimate child of retired pro hero Amaterasu, and super villain Necromancer. Her family, especially her mother and herself, was under fire for the shocking scandal between hero and villain. Although her younger half-sister Hikari had no blood relation to the villain, she ended up going to UA to protect their mother and Hisako. She met Hiroyuki through Hikari's internship, where they eventually fell in love. Because of her hardy and confident nature, Hisako often taunted and challenged those who wanted to try hurting her family, unafraid of death. She was involved in a bigger incident because of her blood relations, unfortunately getting others involved and others killed. The scandals surrounding their family have toned down in the recent years, especially after both Hikari and Hiroyuki aided in arresting Necromancer.

QUIRK: RESPAWN

Hisako’s quirk allows her to come back from the dead, waking up from the place she last died without any injuries or complications. She inherited one drawback from her father, though. The more often she respawns, the more her body will rot away. Because of several incidents in the past, her left arm and lefthand torso have been reduced to a skeleton’s. Doctors say that she isn’t immortal, and that she’ll just die a normal death at old age.

HIROYUKI KAMINO

Hiroyuki was born in Cairo to an Egyptian mother and a Japanese father, and they were immediately blessed upon his birth. Born with a quirk that framed him with the spitting image of the ancient sun god Ra, it was not hard for him to gain power and popularity with dreams to be Egypt’s number one hero. Both parents realized being in favor of the people might blind him, so they brought him to UA as a transfer student to humble him. This toned him down, but it didn’t change his boldness and self-assurance after graduating from Japan’s top hero school. He continued his dream and eventually became the rising hero ablaze, Ra. Years later, he took an intern from UA named Hikari and was infatuated by her older sister, Hisako. While courting her, he had to face her demons alongside their family and swore to help them regain their honor. Getting involved earned him a spot in the scandal, but he and his intern were able to capture Necromancer in exchange for losing his upper beak.

QUIRK: SUNFLAME

Hiroyuki’s quirk is manifested through the orbs of fire he can create, resembling a small sun with rays. Unlike fire, which is a type of hot gas, his suns are made up of a blazing combination of gases in the form of plasma. The plasma is a state of matter similar to gas, but with most of the particles ionized, and he can make these suns as small as a pinball or as big as a person. He’s only ever made one as big as a building once, but it takes a huge toll on him. Because of his quirk, he also has a complete and total resistance to fire and heat.

she's very confident in herself to the point that she challenges people who are stronger than her or better than her

very cocky when it comes to those things, and is barely affected by anything bad against her 0% damage, she's used to it

would probably give the BEST GODDAMN PEP TALK TO ANYONE WHO IS A VICTIM OF BULLYING (watch the victim sock their bully in the face the next day after talking to her)

was the one who protected hikari the most, not wanting her to go through what she did

extremely honest and has unwavering optimism to the point that it's a bit scary how easily she can brush anything off

hiroyuki is also confident in himself and his abilities, but he's a much more toned down version of his vain self as a teenager

no one can stop him if he wants to do something or get something! he pursued hisako even if she kept ignoring him at first

definitely the one who spoiled hikari the most as a child, especially since he came from an upper class upbringing

total dad who thinks hes super cool no matter what he does, likes looking cool and hip while his wife looks formal

both of them still act like they're still high schoolers dating so its a bit embarrassing to watch them flirt

I would say theyre girlboss and malewife personality-wise, but hisako is actually a housewife and hiroyuki does the hero work

The “BL” Crew (does not stand for boys love I’m just a moron who made that abbreviation before knowing what it stands for). My main crew and main series, a lot is a big WIP right now as I’m slowly redoing the first book and all the lore. Why? I love torture. Book is fantasy type but I won’t specify what.

Lacie, the protagonist. God tier idiot, bisexual bipolar depressed MESS, insomniac, former theater kid, doesn’t know what she wants out of life but currently it is not This(plot of book). Hot headed, impulsive, crude, rude, Mommy IssuesTM, would rather be taking a nap right now, rules are made to be broken, absolutely fucking FERAL, more bags under her eyes than the airport lost and found. 5’5, 130lbs, Aries, age 18, white as shit like literally the whitest human you have ever seen, strawberry blonde hair in a 2011 Hayley Willaims haircut with long bangs, the darkest brown eyes you’ve ever seen that stare directly into your soul. Lanky, no curves, body of a 12 year old boy but works out so she can and will kick your ass and thats a threat. Not human?

Josh. Baby of the group, must be protected at all costs, 100% didn’t sign up to be in a friendgroup of 90% monsters but highkey loves it, trans, bi, anxiety MAXED, just wants to draw comics and cosplay spiderman, has to babysit his two younger sisters a lot because his parents are....not great, and as a result now knows all the lines to Tangled and The Little Mermaid. Big nerd energy, has to draw on everything including homework, gets inspiration for comics from his friends, awkward and socially anxious, drinks way too much tea and will accidentally steal your pens. Fears include: crowds, thunder, tall angry men, tiny spaces. Rating- 12/10 way better than the description makes it sound. Kanata is an amazingly wonderful protag and his students are each their own three dimensional character, and though very cliche, the entire thing made me fall in love with the characters.

Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign (Owari no Seraph)

Reason or meaning of name:  in his culture, people are named for purpose. "Koyol" is his identifier to separate him from other "Bessmer", which means King, and a Bessmer "tnyy" is an "immortal king", denoting hes A, outlived his kingdom, B, has slain a large number of foes or an extremely powerful force and C, has lived an exceeding number of years, as well as D, lived through something that certainly should have been fatal- any of these would earn the tittle tnyy but koyol has achieved all of them (some of which a few times), so instead of "bessmer-tnyy" or 'king who is immortal, hes "bessmertnyy" which is "Immortal King" or "King of Immortals", detonating hes a legendary person before the death of the culture. Koyol means Snake, denoting his affiliation with the serpents as his Personal Identifier.

Reason for nickname: Kyle is a nickname given to him primarily for those who cant pronounce Koyol easily, or a name used in English speaking worlds or modern worlds to blend in better than Koyol. the name was given to him by a long dead friend, and hes used ever since. last names vary, with the above being a few common ones hes used as of recently. #008000 is the hex code for "green" or "true green" and is his color identifier in the Color Squad. the title "Green" is also a nickname used by color squad or rainbow squad associates to refer to him as a coworker or in code rather than use his name or refer to him as their boss. hes refered to as Green or "eight" primarily by people in either of the color companies mostly by senior members or fresh recruits, especially by those who are aware that using actual names causes him some discomfort.

Birth date:  koyol has no birth date. theres a variety of dates or holidays in which hes celebrated, though.

Physical appearance

Age:  who knows. hes at least a couple eons old.

How does he/she appear: scary, usually. hes tall, thin, green, and has ominous eyes and no expression. hes known for looking... civil... but something is off about it. like something untamed with an air of knowing how to look tame, and trying to decieve you into thinking it is civilized. creepy, ominous, in most bodies- some seem far less scary or intimidating, but they all have a sort of air to them that whisper a caution that maybe its more feral than it appears.

Weight:  varying by body, his usual one is described as weighty and heavy because of the double muscle system in his body. other times hes described as unusually light in a different body- attributed to the double bone structure. in his original body he clocks on at a good 200pds or more, despite his disturbingly skinny body.

Height:  Your average koyol, including his original body, tops at an even 11ft. some bodies are much smaller- as short as 6ft- and sometimes taller, stretching to an even more ominous 13 ft 4 inches in one body.

Body build:  skinny is the usual. hes commonly of a wirey, unhealthy looking thin-ness, particularly because of the proportion compared to his height. his version of carying extra weight is odd- he carries extra weight in his shoulders, or in his legs. the storage of fat on his mutant body is unproportional and poorly evolved, do koyol keeps off high fat diets in order to avoid the inhibitor of his legs carying the fat. most of the fat he carries as usual is stored on the shoulders and gives the trick appearance that they are broader than they appear when hes well fed. otherwise hes very stringy, with thicker arms and legs, due to the nature of the double bone structure.

sex/genitalia, body dimorphism, and associated gender: koyols society and people followed a 4 sex system rather than a binary. some people were born to carry, some people were born to give, some people born to receive, and other people could do all three or some combination. givers and receivers are similar to the idea of men and women respectively- not exactly sperm and egg, but close. the givers gave their equivalent of sperm to receivers in acts of sex with a penis, receivers kept it and genetically mixed it with their version of an egg. receivers found a carrier they liked and in a second act of sex, passed zygotes to carriers who had womb like organs, where the zygote could grow into an infant before birth. these children developed into the fourth kind of person who biologically could do all 3 other jobs in the breeding process, but rarely were children born that way. most often it was givers impregnating half zygotes directly into carriers/3jobs, which would make more givers; or receivers impregnating carriers/3jobs, who would make more receivers. these roles didnt actively have titles, although those who could do all three jobs of reproduction were venerated as "perfect". the people of his day were archaic and didnt understand that single job people were mutations from "half breeding", and attributed it to gods and kings and queens blessing unborn children.  now, all of that said: koyol is the 4th archetype of sex to his people, capable of all "3 jobs", and thats what his concept of gender or sex is as apposed to male or female. biologically speaking in terms of what most societies believe of the binary system, though, koyol is considered intersex. in binary systems, though, koyol prefers the term "hermaphrodite" despite the average person using the term intersex- for selfish reasons. he likes that the phrase hermaphrodite contains "Aphrodite" which was a goddess of beauty and love in multiple universes hes been to. he doesn't mind the phrase intersex, though, despite the feeling that its misdirective in meaning, and considers himself of both sexes rather than in-between them. all that talk on gender and binaries aside- in terms of genitalia, koyol has both male and female, and then some; he can both fuck and be fucked, and is biologically capable of holding a child in pregnancy and impregnating another person who is capable of pregnancy in the average binary sex system. he is also capable of crossing his "egg" or "sperm" with another person's, and inseminating that child into a third party, in am inner outside of binary sexes. when blending into a system of binary sexes, if asked, koyol identifies as a man, in terms of gender; using he/him pronouns. of other dissimilarities, he also has developed mammary glands- which has been noted of oddity, as less than 30% of his genetic material is mammalian, and any milk he would produce following a pregnancy would be radioactive and poisonous as his mammary glands have direct connection to both the gland in his body that produces poison, and the part of his body that handles his own energy and radioactivity. Put shortly, it's a useless bodily function, and a crux of his mutated evolution.

Shape of face:  fairly square jaw. he's known, particularly, for a lack of nose in his original body- instead having a very sensitive patch of skin that operates as the olfactory. other bodies come with wide, short noses. his eyes are almost always a little bit larger than one would expect to fit the face properly, and a bit rounder and wide set than a human’s usual almond shape. studies done on his eyes show that koyol also has a nictitating membrane-- a third, transparent eyelid. Koyol himself was unaware of this, and does not have active control over it; the only time its ever actively moved was on subconscious accord in response to a reflex to certain pollens. these pollens have shown not to harm him or his eyes, so why the reflex occurs, the purpose of the third eyelid, and much else about why he has it is unknown. do to the nature of the Second skin, his face cannot emote, but when the second skin is shed, the scaled First skin can emote just fine any expression. his teeth have been known to change from white to a deep purple when poison is active and pushed through small vein-like networks in his teeth to their tips, and in his original body, all his teeth were as sharp as canines. most bodies instead have one, two, or four sets of fangs, instead, that can turn from white to purple and inflict venom

Eye color: Koyol’s irises, sclera, and pupils are all a black color thats nearly identical. the pupil (which are far larger than one would expect), of course, processes light; but his irises contain specialized nerves that process heat and ultraviolet, alongside his olfactory sense which does the same. when experiencing stress or strong stimuli, his pupil produces what's theorized to be a ‘protective’ Calcium Disk; a bone-like layer- this looks like a thin, white, slitted pupil appearing over the actual pupil of his eye. the pupil is similar in build to bone, and up close, one can watch it raise from the depth of the black pupil like a bone coming closer to the surface. with more stress or stimuli, the calcium will build more so, and the pupil slit appears to expand until it engulfs the entire eye. at maximum stress levels, something similar to marrow or blood and red in color develops from strain. cause yet another, small, thin red pupil slit to appear. when the calcium eye has spread to a certain point, koyol cannot see at all aside from a vague heat signature processed from his olfactory organ. which is note reliable. the calcium eye is hard, and aside from scratching the surface of his eye, cannot be penetrated any easier than bone. the marrow eye, red pupil, is much easier to penetrate and theoretically could be lethal to do so. some human or animal forms will have green eyes. rarely, they have brown.

Skin tone:  koyols second skin, top layer, is a pale, slightly greyed green shade, and the blood that circulates it is a darker, thicker red that borders approaching a brownish color do to the heavy oxidation of the second skin as a disposable, sheddable layer. blushing darkens this pale green to a darker earthen green. when under damage, or around damaged formations like around scars, the blood ceases flow to the area and the skin attaches less strongly to the scales underneath it, giving it an as described "ugly, sickly yellow" color tone. the same yellow tone effects the whole body when koyol is ill, or the second skin looses a lot of blood. this second skin is mostly deadened or numb in feeling, due to its extremely minimal use of nerve endings, and has a large lack of muscle to it, thus rendering facial emotion and some other minor movements null and non visible, such as inability to move ears or flair nostrils, or twitch visibly in areas of the back or legs or feet. the first skin, or "real" skin, is a layer of skin and scales underneath the second skin. his scales are a smooth obsidian like black with the slightest purple tone to their sharper edges. the first skin can be flexed to point outward, or tighten up together flat; exposing sharp edges or tightening into protective armour, respectively. when the scales flext outward, if the second skin is present, they will shred it- in what is considered a frothy, bloody, messy and gorey shedding process. the skin underneath the scales is a deeper black with no purple shading, and the blood that runs under his scales and in this skin is a bright cherry red- when injured, however, it appears a deeper purplish color as the skin is laced with a seperate pulsing network of his innate purple poison. this gives the blush of the first skin a more purple appearance, and gives scars a dulled purple color where the scales wont grow back. where the first skin has been damaged bad enough for scale deformation or to damage the under skin, the Second Skin wont grow back properly, leaving ugly yellow scars to grow over them. these loose edges must be stitched with black cord to keep the ends together. in more human bodies, koyol exhibits an olive skin tone!

Distinguishing marks: koyol exhibits many scars on most of his varying bodies that, as mentioned, are notoriously stitched with thick black stitch cords to hold the second skin together. these include a ring around one arm where he ince list and had it reattached, two thick scars through his stomach and back where he was once pierced, and an ugly lagged mark about one leg where it was almost shredded and completely lost. another distinguishing feature, known to one of his favored bodies, are marks known as the "Marks of Ownership." these are small circular seal tattoos, each meant for a specific person or group, denoting his loyalty to those specific people. other features of note come and go with the bodies hes inhabiting, most often mutant forms. they often include a piercing or tattoo or some other detail or change to the body itself.

Hair color:  his hair almost always is a deep earthen green. there are some human forms where this may change, and is usually a very yellowed, straw blonde color. there are some cases, even, where the bodies natural hair color is yellow, but the hair appears to by dyed green, and the color will fade the longer koyol inhabits the body.

Hairstyle:  his hair is thick, and usually kept short for the ease of it, given his busy lifestyle. some bodies do have longer hair when he inhabits them, and koyol will normally leave it that way or keep it trimmed to that length. his hair is usually of small waves or curls, and fairly unruly. koyol doesn't like to brush his hair outside of keeping out tangles, but you will never catch him with greasy hair- he can't stand the texture of oily or dirty hair. his hair style is of known as wild and untamed, but clean. in bodies like animal forms where there is fur, it's also usually very short, and either green or blond.

Voice: his voice is known for the unchanging monotone associated from the restraint of the second skin, but when its shed, his voice emotes as normal. its kniwn for being graveled with what is thought to be age, in many forms, but in others is smooth. in most bodies it is fairly deep and rasped, but others kighter in pitch or tone. he is known for speaking in two different patterns; on being overly polite, but associated with being at ease in a situation, speaking with few conjunctions and with longer words, and quickly. in tenser or uncertain situations he talks slower and purposely drawn out to negate his fast speech, and with more conjunctions and slang he thinks appropriate to who hes speaking with. he speaks more so only when necessary, and speaks in shorter and simpler sentences. he rarely says the names of other people while they're in his company, and even often then doesn't use names unless necessary, preferring nicknames, coded names, or even pet names. one very notable thing about Koyol is that his people did not laugh. the people he grew up with and around did not make the sound at all. and while he is capable of it, it was thought by the people of his day to be an animalistic noise, and he was taught and punished not to make that sound (the impulse to laugh is, in fact, not at all related to any sort of human-related genetic, or even an an actual instinct to laugh. the impulse is a deep breathy pant and a surge of energy, something many common animals experience, and koyols impulse his to push some of that energy into his pant, and thus makes a noise. when exhausted, but still impulsed to ‘laugh’, the sound is completely silent, merely an exhale.) because his laugh impulse was suppressed, often with traumatic event punishments, the noise is often strangles, and sounds more like- to quote a friend, once- like a “panting dog that's being choked, with the odd sound of grinding glass underneath.” the grinding sound, actually, is a pair of vertebrae from the double skeletal systems that click and grind together when the impulse occurs- the occurrence is, apparently, painless.

Physical disabilities:  koyol is inflexible to a nearly debilitating level do to the nature and structure of his double skeleton system. with a lot of training, hes able to bend as much as his body will physically allow him, although its still not much and it does cause pain. for example, hunching forward at a 90 degree angle or close to it sends incredible pain up the length of his spine as several nerves are pinched by the “spinal ribs” even after years of training and endurance. the most he can do comfortably, with no pain, is about 20 degrees in the forward direction. he cannot bend backward from a straight angle at all, no matter what training occurs, and can only just barely put any arch into his back while laying flat.

Usual fashion of dress: koyol has an almost extreme preference for button up shirts. frankly, just because he likes them. its a minor obsession. usually this is couples with jeans and sneakers or boots. his shirts are usually long sleeve, and if short, are long enough to conceal the scar on his upper arm. he wears a variety of colors with a preference to wear specific colors for specific moods: if he wears darker colors its usually because hes not feeling particularly social or not very at ease today. good friends and colleagues are familiar with the patterns of what he wears and why. bright neon greens are the biggest warnings: hes feeling v e r y bad, and its dangerous. more thank likely this'll be the last time you see him for a few weeks. wearing all black means hes close to hibernation. wearing pinks means he's feeling better than usual and is good to touch and be hugged, but darker purples means hes not feeling up to a lot of contact today. this communicative dress pattern is more or less subconscious in Koyol’s behavior, actually.

Jewelry or accessories:  koyol has a habit of wearing 6 metal, simple grey earrings; three in each ear. this is put on most bodies he uses frequently, and each ring in his ear is for one of his 5 children, and his grandchild. Koyol has a great distaste for body modifications that are meaningless, but a great respect for ones that have important meanings or symbolisms.  one accessory koyol is known for is a large black bag that seems to change shape and form almost as much as he does in body. it has a variety of straps, randomly, and often carries his beloved partner Katrina Bessmer, a snake of incredible length. other than the bag, other accessories hes found with are usually various writing utensils and something to take notes in, often carried in a black satchel version of his “mysterious, endless black bag”.

outlast 2 was a little bit... weird?

It was heavily leaning on religious cues, that's for sure. I think it was a little weird but it broke tropes in my book and also shown light on the guilt that comes with sexual harassment and loosing a friend. I actually was surprised at how calmed I felt by the end and how much it touched on those themes without sexualizing things, or making it into theatrics like some games do. Idk. I have always loved how outlast handles sexual harassment and moral obligations--more so than any other horror game I have ever played. And I. Have played. A LOT. It had a different taste than the first game and the DLC. But even whistle-blower has a different feeling and theme than the first game. Red barrels is exploring a lot and in my opinion They're doing great for Exploring. What weirdness it did bring to table was so Jarring I think it helped the creep factor. I don't think it was too confusing either, and I have heard the comics Bridge the gaps. While I'm at this. I kinda just wanna talk About the game. Have a small review. Plot wise I feel like it scared me more because I came from a heavy Christian background so some of the notes found around the town were Literally echos of things I was taught as a child. It might be less scary to someone who was never very Close with borderline-cult religion? OR it might be more scary because it's not normalized.I appreciated THE HELL out of how many women/fem People we got in this game. We have this horrid sexist (and v regularly pointed out as WRONG) narrative about how this Town works and what the goal is of their religion and this extremely crude religious text, and even in the midst of all that we have Lynn kicking ass best to her ability and never really once was she actually saved by Blake LMAO. Lynn was the reason they were there, Lynn was ambitious and drove herself through the plot. In fact, without Lynn, Blake would have had little reason to continue like he did.Jessica was also such a real look into depressive childhood Especially when in A church. I say that because I was a depressed Afab in the church and boy..... Let me tell you. You get told shit like 'if you're feeling depressed, you're not Praising God enough ' which is just. Just. BLEH. Anyway. Despite what happened to her she is shown as a brave little girl and she's trying to fix her own issues as much as like a what, 10 year old girl can. Say what you will about these G1 Final shows, but they’re always newsworthy. This was a great show to end the most amazing tournament in wrestling history; It delivered huge in terms of big matches and surprises. There was the usual array of solid multi man bouts, the highlight of which was KUSHIDA and Desperado’s spirited brawl to set up the Jr Title Match next month, but things really picked up with the Jr tag title match, which was excellent. This had great selling, psychology and storytelling, and a ton of drama. The story here was that Ricochet appeared to tweak his knee when landing a big dive, and it wasn’t obvious wether or not it was an actual injury or an elaborate sell. Ricochet went for a Benadryller on the floor, but missed and his knee hit the ring post and he made like the knee was bothering him all match, electing to not do his usual springboard spots. This meant that Taguchi had to go a lot of this on his own, and he was great throughout. As the Bucks worked over Taguchi 2-on-1, they went for the Meltzer Driver, but Ricochet caught Nick in a power bomb on the flip, but made like his knee was going to give, then Matt super kicked the back of the knee, taking Rico out again. Matt locked Ricochet in the dreaded Sharpshooter, but Ricochet fought to the ropes, then Nick came of the top with a Swanton onto Ricochet. Nick then put Taguchi in the Sharpshooter, and they teased a Ricochet tap out in an amazingly dramatic spot. However, Taguchi got free and broke it up to a big pop. Ricochet got the knees up on a More Bang For Your Buck, reaggravating the knee injury. The Jacksons tried an Indytaker, but Taguchi cut Nick off with a springboard Hip Attack. He then laid Matt out with Dodon’s Throne and put Nick in the Ankle Lock, allowing Ricochet to struggle to the top and hit the match winning Shooting Star Press at the 15:13 mark to win the belts. This was so great and told a really compelling story in that the champions were so obsessed with submitting Ricochet, they completely forgot about Taguchi, who they underestimated, and it was ultimately their downfall.

In a tremendous surprise, Katsuyori Shibata returned for the first time since suffering a career ending (self inflicted) head injury in this very building at Sakura Genesis. It was a really emotional moment as many in the audience were in tears. Shibata sat in his signature pose, cross legged in the ring, smiled and said “I’m alive! That is all!”, and left to a huge ovation. It was really good to see Shibata, and to see him doing well given the severity of his injury. After intermission, we got a vignette of someone brandishing a knife. I wonder who that is? War Machine retained the Heavyweight tag titles against Cody and Page in another great contest, which was way better than I thought it would be. The crowd started lukewarm to this, but got really into it by the end. War Machine are such a good team, and their highspots really get the crowd invested, especially Hanson, who hit an impressive handspring elbow and Senton Atomico. They had a really good back-and-forth match which looked like the Bullet Clubbers were going to take the belts, but instead the champions retained at 16:19 with Fall Out. In the post match, G.O.D. came out to issue a challenge, but then both teams were laid out by the returning Killer Elite Squad. The K.E.S. returning is very welcome as I can muster no enthusiasm for anther War Machine/G.O.D. encounter. 

ZSJ yet again submitted Tanahashi with the Manjigatame to win a very good six man, which was the best of all the multi-man’s on this show. The win cements Zack as Tana’s next I.C. Title challenger, likely in Hiroshima. Also, Elgin and Suzuki had a wild post match pull-apart brawl, so theres your next NEVER program. Hiromu submitted Gedo with a Triangle Choke to end a decent 10 minute 8 man tag, but the main story was between EVIL and Okada, which will probably be the main event in Kobe for the IWGP title. Okada sold his neck all match, as he has ever since losing to EVIL in Osaka, so thats the story going into that one. EVIL laid the champion out with Darkness Falls onto a stack of chairs after the match. Also of extreme importance, Daryl the cat has returned from the grave like Lazarus, so all can breathe easy now.

Then in the main event, Naito and Omega had an outstanding G1 final. This was incredible stuff that was even better than their ***** classic last year. Its fair to say that its nigh on impossible to keep track of all the amazing matches so far in 2017. This started with both being tentative, but got crazy after Naito hit a beautiful tope, which sent Kenny over the barricade and on to the announce table. Naito then hit a scary piledriver on the table, but he missed and Omega hit the edge of the table, then landed on his head on the barricade, which didn’t look fun to take. Naito hit a neck breaker on the apron, then a draping one off the top, before Kenny fought back, hitting a V-Trigger, the Terminator Con Hilo, and Aou Shoudou. Naito hit a Tornado DDT, then goes for a top rope Frankensteiner, but Omega battled out and dropped Naito face first onto the turnbuckles in a devastating spot.  From there he hits Snap Dragon and another V-Trigger as the sold out Kokugikan went crazy. Naito turns a power bomb into a DDT, hits another neck breaker, and scores a near fall with Gloria. Omega turns a Destino into a cradle Tombstone for a near fall, then goes up top, but is cut off by Naito. Another Frankensteiner attempt is foiled when Omega hits a DDT onto the ring post, which was devastating. Kenny tries a top rope power bomb, but Naito turns it into a huge Frankensteiner, as the place goes insane. Naito scores a great near fall with a reverse Frankensteiner off the top, then turns the clocks back and goes for the Stardust Press, the move he won the 2013 G1 with, but Omega moves. Kenny almost wins with the sit out Tiger Driver 91, then hits three stiff standing V-Trigger knees. Omega scores another close near fall with the deadlift Doctor Bomb, then goes for One Winged Angel, but Naito turns it into a reverse Frankensteiner, and both are down again. Naito hits Destino, but Omega kicks at 2.99 to a huge pop, then Kenny turns another Destino into Croyt’s Wrath for a near fall. Omega with the Rainmaker V-Trigger, then the stiffest V-Trigger I’ve ever seen, before going for OWA, which Naito again turns into Destino. They fight back, exchanging hard slaps, before Omega hits a V-Trigger, then comes off the ropes for another, but Naito hits a Kappo Kick. A Dragon Suplex gets a near fall for Naito, then hits another Destino for a great near fall. Naito then hits yet another Destino and wins the 27th annual G1 Climax at 34:35. This was just a brilliant display from both. Naito is then awarded the trophy and flag by Masahiro Chono, then cuts a promo putting over the fans, saying the win was for them. What a difference 4 years makes. This was my favourite G1 final ever, which is a fitting end to my favourite G1 tournament ever. God bless New Japan.

i just really dont want him to feel bad about the art he’s creating. like if im going to have to be honest worlds is one of the best albums ive ever heard, in my opinion. it has the exact effect porter wanted to achieve, its pretty, emotional and it gives you that weird deep feeling of hugeness and vastness that i wouldnt know how to explain without just bringing out my worlds cd and playing it to you. and, not to be a hipster or something, but its so different from most of the music styles you hear today, and making something entirely different can be so scary and it can fuck up your confidence in creating something my dude. like its easier to make something like spitfire than to be brave and make something very original like worlds, especially in today’s edm scene, and thats what i appreciate so much about it. thats just why i want porter to realize his music is extremely good and he doesnt need to feel bad about it

I feel good. I was walking down the street yesterday and for the first time in ages I just felt so happy and nothing more. I was just smiling at myself. I mean, I think I'm going to fail my first year at uni because I've hardly been going in but I feel like I've needed a lot of time to just sort my head out. But to be honest that's nothing compared to how I've felt. I've needed to be sad and get angry. I've needed to stay in bed all day for several days, just feeling sorry for myself. Late 2014 until 2016 have been difficult in a lot of ways. As dramatic as it might sound. I've had my heart broken by not just someone I felt very strong feelings for but my dad as well. My mom had been distant and basically spent Christmas with her friends and boyfriend at the the time. That doesn't seem like a big deal but for an only child from a one parent home, it really hurt me and Christmas means a lot to me. I felt betrayed. We didn't speak for the two weeks of Christmas and New Years and that upset me more than anything has ever upset me in my whole life. I've dropped out of university twice. Lived in London for a short while and it was incredible lonely. I've hurt genuinely nice people, it upsets me because I feel like I turned them into colder people. I got so ill and I honestly think thats responsible for my actions over the past 25/26 months. I couldn't brush my teeth or hair without it hurt my arms. I couldn't shower because standing up made me dizzy, I couldn't walk from my living room to my kitchen without getting extremely out of breath. I pushed people who cared about me away because I felt gross and insecure about my illness. I felt like no one would want to be close to me because I honestly disgusted myself. It's sad because I was with a really nice guy and I just couldn't get close to him. When I went into hospital it was so scary. I didn't know what was wrong with me and I didn't know when I was going home. I had so many test done, it felt extremely violating and uncomfortable. When I came out of hospital my medication gave me horrible side effects. I was extremely depressed and suicidal. My body was changing, I gained over a stone and people kept commenting on how "chubby" or "fat" I looked. This made me feel even more disgusting than before because now, not only did I have this gross disease, I was fat too. Nice. It affected my concentration, motivation and my temper and emotions, which were already bad. I was already very angry and emotional for a long time because I didn't know what was going on with my body and I honestly thought I was dying. It was so stupid of me. I went a year and a half suffering, thinking I was dying and said nothing. Everyone just thought I was naturally angry, emotional and lazy. It makes no sense. So I was just going to let myself 'die'. I can't explain it though. I was just scared and embarrassed. Even though some people were there for me, I felt and still sometimes feel completely alone. I don't want to go on about how ill i feel or how ill I was because it's annoying. But I need to talk about it because it's just overwhelming and hard to come to terms with that this is what I have to live with for the rest of my life. I want people to understand why I act certain ways sometimes but even if I do explain it to them, they won't really care, understand or remember because hypocritically I do the same to a friend who has an illness. It horrible of me. So I don't really expect it from anyone else if I find it difficult to do I'm in remission now but at any moment i could have a flare up and this time my medication could not help me. Then I'd have to have an operation to have part of me removed and then live with a bag on my stomach. Honestly the thought of that makes me extremely depressed and just typing it now, makes me sad but it's better than living in pain. I wish I could explain to everyone why I've been the way I've have. It bothers me. I've acted crazy and over the top and I'm not saying that I'm not crazy and over the top normally but more so than normal. I feel like I've turned so many people off. It's hard to explain how I feel and I'm not feeling sorry for myself (anymore) but I've felt every negative emotion and every positive emotion in the past 26 months. I have genuinely felt like a lunatic. Right now, even though I can still get upset and feel like no body understands and not everything is perfect. I feel at peace. I've gotten rid of all the people who were giving me mixed signals and or emotions and everyone who just makes me feel bad about myself. I think and I hope I'm now just surrounded by people who genuinely care about me because I care about them. Like I said I think I'm going to fail my first year but it's not the end of the world and there are so many things I want to do with my life. I bet come Thursday when I go out I'm have a break down and hate my life again but it's okay because I'll feel better again eventually.
