Some non-ao3 Wolfstar Fic Recs for while ao3 is down
Hi so this is just a quick impromptu fic rec list, because ao3 has been down, so I thought a short rec list with fics that are hosted on other sites might come in handy while we all patiently wait for the amazing volunteers at ao3 to defend the site against the hackers. Also, I've seen several posts saying this and just want to add my voice, I think if you have the money to do so, giving a bit of it to ao3 would be a great thing to do, when the site is back up and running.
Okay enough of that, let's get into the list, in no particular order, these are just some of my older wolfstar faves off the top of my head, probably most of them are going to be fics I have recced on this blog before but I'm a firm believer that there is no such thing as too much enthusiasm, especially when it comes to fandom.
The Shoebox Project
If you ever thought about wanting to read the Shoebox Project but were intimidated by its length (or by all the separate pdf files), maybe now it is time to reconsider? It's an absolute wolfstar classic, it will make you laugh, it will make you cry, it will give you all the marauders and wolfstar feels you could ever want! For me, when asked for just one wolfstar/marauders fic rec this is always the one I would give.
The Door through the World
Okay you didn't expect me to write a fic rec list of older wolfstar fics and not mention this one, did you? This is the 2nd fic I will always and forever rec, a magical realism AU (kind of), the story is pure magic. I found that it is still accessible via webarchive, even though it is hosted on ao3.
remuslives23 Masterlist
Here is remuslives23's masterlist, on livejournal. They've written so many great fics, Muse in particular is one of my favorites (a muggle, artist AU), but the whole list is worth checking out!
picascribit on ff.net
Picascribit also posts all of their fics on ff.net, and I think I've recced most of their longer wolfstar fics on this blog over the years already anyways but two of my personal favorites are Highland Fling (a muggle AU set in Scotland) and Discards (a muggle AU set in Seattle with trans!Sirius), but I love all of their fics!
wolfstarwarehouse's ff.net rec list
wolfstarwarehouse posted a ff.net rec list in 2016, I remember reading All Kidding Aside and To Kiss a Bloke off that list back then, I don't think I've read the other fics but maybe now is the time for me to check them out!
Beekeeping in the Daylight podfic
Beekeeping in the Daylight is a wonderful muggle AU by halictus-writer and there is now a podfic by itsaash with a non-ao3 download link.
Alright I think I'll post this now and if I think of any more I'll just add them or make a part 2. If you have any faves you'd add to this list or if you're a writer who also posts somewhere else except ao3 feel free to add yours as a reblog or comment, so the list gets longer! <3

that’s right we twisted (i like it like that) (M)
Tumblr media
preview: “where’s jeno?” you tried hard to steady your clearly wavering tone and glanced around to avoid any further awkward stares.
“you’re looking at him.” jeno snorted and knocked back his hood with a veiny hand, revealing golden blonde locks and a pair of black floppy ears.
the world seemed to stop at that moment. how in the hell did you skip over the fact that you were looking after a grown ass man?
pairing: lee jeno x fem reader
word count: 4.4k
genre: non idol! jeno, hybridverse au, pwp, crack-ish?, strangers to fucking
warnings: predator/prey dynamics, brief choking, hair pulling, submission, non-sexual and sexual degradation (jeno is mean), coercion/manipulation (jeno tells y/n she’s being overdramatic about him not prepping her & other)
smut warning: m/f, rough sex, unprotected sex (wear! protection!), improper prep, anal (f), creampie
a/n: y/n did consent to everything above! what i write does not reflect jeno in any way. this is purely fiction.
requests: hard hours are closed.
“y/n,” your landlord sighed into his palm,”if i extended your deadline for payment, i’d be showing favoritism. rent is due next month and the overdraw fee at this period is hefty.”
“give me more time — how am i supposed to find a job on such short notice?” you pleaded, vigorously refreshing on your bank account app as if money would appear instantly.
“make it happen or i have no choice but to kick you out. demand is high and time is money.” the older man shook his head apologetically, turning and hopping down the steps without another word.
“fuck this.” you sighed out, hands buried in your hair.
“fuck.”
where the hell were you gonna find quick cash in a non sketchy way?
shutting the door before your neighbors saw you mid-crisis, your thoughts spiraled.
“fucking capitalism! i can’t do indeed without a resume, can’t even fucking do uber because i’d need a car and i use the subway..” you threw your hands up in frustration.
after a few minutes of panic, your mind came to a full stop at the dreadful realization.
your last resort.
you’ve heard all types of horror stories about craigslist, and deep down you were just praying you weren’t about to become another storyteller for a fucked up job all for the sake of keeping a roof over your head.
nonetheless, you found yourself scrolling endlessly on the site through your phone, barbie bandaid clad thumb slowly landing on a job offer that seemed too good to be true. “hell no, this must be a ploy to get kidnapped or some shit. that much to watch a dog?” your eyes widened at the listing.
1 night only dog-sitter needed ASAP!! $150 hourly. (jeno is very playful and curious. *on the territorial side as a rottweiler breed* higher payment can be discussed if this will be an issue, thank you!)
you skimmed over the details for what looked like the fifteenth time, not fully trusting it. you knew you didn’t have much time and needed quick cash, but you didn’t want to take a risk.
“fuck it. i need this.” you sucked in a deep breath and cracked your knuckles, messaging the lister immediately.
if it turned out to be a deranged killer, at least you wouldn’t have to worry about rent!
the prompt ding from your phone nearly sent you flying at the quick response, spiking the anxious feeling at the pit of your stomach.
“damn, this must be urgent..” you mumbled, reading the response with budding apprehension.
65154427: thank you so much for reaching out! finding a last minute sitter has been a nightmare :(
jeno is a bit of a handful and he’s spoiled so those two things alone have cost me a lot of time when it comes to keeping long term sitters.
i hope that you’re able to take care of my puppy!
quizzically, you typed back some words of encouragement, confirming that the services in the dog sitting listing wouldn’t be a problem.
those seemed to be the exact words the owner was looking for because it was then that after a few words of approval later, you found yourself job bound in only a matter of a half hour.
so, not too shabby!
the thought of being kicked out with no way to pick yourself up haunted you for months and there was no way you were gonna let that shit manifest for you so this was a huge pick me up in your eyes.
“i love dogs and i’m good with them. what the hell could go wrong? the damn thing eats, sleeps, and shits! i’m going to be just fine.”
you blew off the brewing feeling of uncertainty in the pit of your stomach, before plopping on your sad couch.
everything will be fine!
—————
everything was not fine.
the pressure of doing a job well done was instantly heightened as soon as you found the place you were going to be staying overnight at.
a modern penthouse with gold outlining and neatly trimmed bushes stood in front of you as you entered, an even more upscaled elevator greeting you upon your entrance with a mocking ding.
who the hell were you dog sitting for? brad pitt?
“do not fuck up.” you whispered to yourself as you boarded the elevator, punching in the floor number with a shaky finger.
you were genuinely starting to become unmotivated at your ability to take care of this seemingly high end dog.
a smooth elevator ride later, you stepped out self consciously and immediately strode down the hall to look for the number of the place, not wasting time.
time is money. you repeated after your landlord internally.
the show of the city lights reflected appealingly on the top floors of the glass vicinities, your breath stilling at the admirable sight. “eat the rich but i could get used to this.”
your unconfident trudges finally came to a stop at a creme door, luxuriously crafted. with that quality? it had to be.
your stomach broiled in suspense as you rang the two way intercom, free hand gripping onto your overnight bag at what would happen next.
“this is the sitter you called for? for jeno?”
a pregnant pause had passed until you heard a small ‘mhm’ being thrown back in return on the intercom, your face dropping immediately at that.
some fucking professional.
the ear-penetrating buzzing blasted out from the intercom as a result of the door being unlocked, alerting the nosy hallow halls of the presence of a new company.
you took a deep breath to calm your nerves before pushing the automatic heavy door open with your hand and strolling into the spacious home, placing your items down on the couch.
first mistake.
“jeno!” you made kissy noises and crouched, expecting to be met with the love of a young and energetic puppy.
“you shouldn’t put your things on other people’s property, miss sitter.” a bass filled tone spoke from behind you, a shrill gasp ripping out of your throat.
“what the hell?” you grabbed onto your chest, heart damn near beating out of it’s cavity while you rose from your bent position and turned to look at the source of noise.
an attractive male stood tall before you, hands tucked into the pockets of his raised hoodie and legs adorned with what looked like balenciaga sweatpants. his sharp eyes narrowed slightly at the sight of you, causing you to curl into yourself at having dared to make eye contact with him.
oh.
“where’s jeno?” you tried hard to steady your clearly wavering tone and glanced around to avoid any further awkward stares.
“you’re looking at him.” jeno snorted and knocked back his hood with a veiny hand, revealing golden blonde locks and a pair of black floppy ears.
the world seemed to stop at that moment. how in the hell> did you skip over the fact that you were looking after a grown ass man?
“no— no i’m supposed to be looking after a puppy with attitude problems and a cute little underbelly. you.. you’re not that!” you refuted, backing away in astonishment.
jeno’s head tilted, soft ears quirking at your remark,”do you not see the ears, dumbass? i am a puppy. didn’t my owner tell you i’m a rottweiler hybrid? or like, anything about me at all?”
your eyebrows furrow in on themselves at his insolent reply, lips suddenly falling agape in realization. “damn. i should’ve known. average dog sitting doesn’t pay that much an hour.”
“i don’t care, just get your shit off of my seat.” he grumbled, waiting expectantly for you to take your bag off of the couch.
an annoyed expression etched its way onto your features, your once confused face dropping quickly at jeno’s rudeness,”listen. i don’t want any problems with you. but we’re about to have a very uncomfortable night if you don’t understand basic fucking respect, asshole.”
jeno’s jaw clenched, your heart rate picking up once more at his mirrored annoyed face. something was 10x more terrifying about his own annoyance than yours.
the taller male slowly made his way over to your small stature until he was mere centimeters apart from being pressed against you,“if i want your stuff off of mine, it comes the fuck off. if i tell you to jump, you ask how fucking high. no questions asked.”
“you’re not listening. you don’t understand how this works—“
knocking you back a few steps with a swift nudge of his chest, his ears stood predatorily. “i understand that you don’t know how things work in my house. catch up.”
you now understood why you were being paid a fortune to look after this horrifying brat.
you rolled your eyes and bumped past him to take your bag off of the couch, his stiffened body instantly relaxing and the uninviting aura around him shifting into one of tranquility.
“so, it looks like the girl has a brain in that thing on her neck.”
you were starting to regret coming over in thin sweat shorts and a cropped long sleeve, feeling embarrassed as you felt your arousal leak through your pants.
he was insulting you and you were getting horny.
jeno stared you down for what seemed like an eternity before snorting and turning to leave up the steps in disinterest, not bothering to look at you,”guest room is up and second to last door on your right, bathroom is under renovation so if you wanna piss or shower you’re stuck with me, princess.”
this was a problem.
you weren’t about to tiptoe around this asshole all night! but you had to make the best of it. after all, this was your ticket to keeping a roof over your head.
sighing dramatically you plopped onto the floor, the spacious couch staring at you jeeringly while your ass began to hurt within seconds of sitting on the hardwood.
dickhead wouldn’t even let you sit.
—————
the clock was nearing eleven when your stomach started to fuss angrily. you already changed into your pajamas and spent hours tapping away on your socials. your last meal was hours before you stepped in the building so you were bound to be starving by then.
unsure what exactly you could touch without getting your head knocked off your shoulders, you just decided to take a chance.
second mistake.
you lightly toed your way into the kitchen and over to the grand fridge, opening it as quietly as possible to not stir the beast in his cave.
“what to eat.” you muttered to yourself, scanning the contents and deciding on making noodles with the ingredients in the full fridge.
the house was filled with a daunting silence as you began preparing the meal for one. you felt like prey in the middle of a forest trying to refeed before the scary predator came and snatched you up.
“hey, you. ugly girl. the fuck are you wearing? you’re barely covered up.” jeno’s daunting voice called out from over the counter.
damn it. you nearly seethed.
“it’s y/n, fucking dork.”
“okay, y/n. the fuck are you wearing?” jeno asked again, nose scrunched and top lip curled in aggravation.
“i was fixing to watch a dog, not babysit a demonic hybrid. and whatever i choose to wear doesn’t have anything to do with you.” you turned back to your food, giving it a good stir before popping open the stainless steel dishwasher next to you.
he watched wolfishly as you bent over without a care in the world to grab a dish and scoffed,”any more and those pair of panties you call shorts are splitting in half. you’re provoking me.”
“i don’t know what you’re into, perv, but the way you’re describing me with so much fire is giving me the impression that you like it. go fuss about the ass you’ll never have somewhere else.” you waved your free hand at him, shooing him away while leveling yourself back up and placing the bowl onto the counter.
“whore.” jeno stalked off towards a different part of the spacious house.
who knew where he’d pop out from next?
—————
midnight quickly approached and your stomach was full, your mood shooting up after that delicious bowl of instant noodles. you’d have to buy those when you got back to your apartment.
jeno hadn’t made an appearance since his harassment earlier and you were thankful, not up to playing his bullshit at this time.
all you had to do was find your room and hope that there would be no more challenges.
how could you fuck that up?
after cleaning up after yourself and grabbing your bag, you made your way up the steep steps and toed down the hall to the provided room.
the large hallway was pitchblack and the only lights guiding you down safely were the ones flashing from under what you assumed was jeno’s room.
getting to your room, you tied your hair back and out of your face and placed your things down by the door. daringly deciding to check up on him, you bounced lightly on the balls of your feet to his door.
suddenly, the world stilled as you mistook one step on the hardwood, a groaning creek shouting out a call from the floorboard alerting jeno and anyone if they were in proximity.
shit!
bolting down the steps, you nearly tumbled down the last few but regained your composure and ran straight for the other side of the house.
you weren’t sure where you were going in the dark but now it dawned on you that the safest place would have been the guest room.
jeno’s footsteps were loud and fast, chasing after you as if he were in the middle of a hunt. “stupid girl. you know i told you to fuck off.”
trying to hold in your pants as you ducked down under what seemed to be a dinner table, your heart beat uncontrollably in your chest.
“i can hear your breaths. can practically smell your fear too.” he grits, pacing around the table.
you just prayed his vision wasn’t good in the dark. it was a roll the dice chance after all, being that he was a hybrid with the characteristics of the most brutal hunting breed there was.
waves of silence washed over the both of you and jeno’s steps couldn’t be heard anymore, neither could your once shaky breaths.
this is the end. you thought. he’s going to maul me.
“this is what you wanted right?” you suddenly heard the low voice in your ear, the hair on your neck standing in surprise.
before you could duck and run, jeno grabbed you by your neck, large hand closing easily around your delicate throat.
“cant— i-i can’t fucking breathe!” you wheezed out, thrashing in the death grip.
“it’s what you asked for, y/n. say it.” you couldn’t make his face out in the pitch blackness but you swore you could see the flash of his canines curved into a taunting grin.
he didn’t wait for a response before crawling out from under the table, your neck still held in place by his unforgiving hold.
puffing out what felt like your last breaths as your kicks grew weaker, jeno finally let go of you, your head dropping onto the cold floor roughly.
hacking and wheezing, you wondered if the money was even worth it now. this hybrid was hell sent.
jeno slicked your hair back with his hand while you hiccuped,”there there.”
“you fu— ow! jeno stop!” you scream out, nails digging into his forearm as he hoists you up into a sitting position by your bun.
“poor you. you’re not too sure how to play this game, am i right?”
“freak! let me go!” your nails dug deeper into his arm, causing him to rip his hand away from your hair and hiss in pain.
“fucking bitch!”
you took this opening to shoot up and lunge across the room, shooting up the steps.
with jeno’s door wide open you could see your room perfectly and it was close within your reach.
so close.
a hand shot out and gripped your wrist, holding you in place, causing you to cry out.
how the hell was he so fast?
“you’re not innocent. if only you could see yourself right now.” jeno laughed.
you must’ve been so caught up in the chase you weren’t aware of the growing patch of arousal staining the entire front of your pajama shorts.
“its— ”
jeno lifted a finger to your lips, shushing you.
“i know all about you. do you like the chase, y/n? do you like it when i’m this rough with you?” his eyes creased with entertainment at your desperate expression.
the finger to your lips dropped as you opened your mouth and he was backing away.
“your call. i won’t show any mercy once you’re in though.”
your mouth definitely played against your brain at that moment,”wait! wait. how are we gonna do this?”
jeno’s head tilted, perked ears dropping,”do what? i thought we were playing a game.”
he’s fucking playing me. you thought outraged.
it wasn’t exactly your gameplan to get your back beat in by this hot puppy hybrid, but now that you were in, there was no way in hell you were backing out.
“i want you to— to… fuck me.” you looked to the side, words falling off your tongue timidly.
“okay.” jeno shrugged casually.
“okay?” your jaw nearly fell to the floor.
after all that?
“do i have to come get you, or are you gonna get over here?” he stuck his hand out, waiting impatiently for you to grab a hold of it.
once you grabbed the large palm, he tugged you into his room, slamming the door shut behind him.
you stared in awe at the spacious quarters, letting out a surprised huff at the eager shove jeno gave you towards his bed.
“should we really—”
jeno laughed amused,”what happened to ‘oh my god! please fuck me jeno!’”
your nose scrunched in embarrassment as you took the hint and began sliding your pajama pants down,”don’t look.”
“such a baby, fine i won’t look.”
the taller male turned and slid out of his sweatshirt easily, tugging his shirt off after and walking over to lock his door. “can i turn around now, baby”
you sat on the bed nervously, playing with a loose thread on the duvet and curling your toes. you weren’t sure if this was such a good idea now that you were in his room, but you definitely wanted this.
“yeah, go ahead.”
turning almost too eagerly, jeno took a moment to scan what he was working with before silently making his way over to the bed and crashing his lips against yours needily.
“mmf— jeno!” you froze in place, unaware of what set him off as he attacked your neck next.
“don’t talk.” he murmured out authoritatively, taking a hold of your clenched thighs and lifting you with ease. he dropped you on the middle of the bed restlessly and was quick to slide out of his sweatpants, your eyes widening with every passing second.
“are you fucking crazy? where’s that thing even going?” you scrambled up into a seated position, legs closing together.
“ugh, y/n stop stalling. it’ll fit just fine.” jeno pried your legs open.
“you’re not even gonna prep or anything?” you tried, backed against the headboard at this point.
he settled in between your legs, his hand dragging his leaking tip between your salivating folds,”don’t be such a fucking baby. i know you can take it, y/n. just loosen up.“
a part of you felt scared that you’ve never taken anyone this big before but his endless pressing seemed to get more firm by the minute.
“okay.. please go slow, jeno. i’m being serious.”
jeno scoot up wordlessly, running your slick down the base of his hardened cock and dipping in slowly.
your face twisted in pain, fingers grabbing the sheets tightly. “it hurts— jeno it hurts!”
jeno’s jaw fell slack, hips drawing forward as if there were any room left. “shh, baby. you’re opening up for me so well.”
involuntarily clenching, your entrance slightly burned at the sudden intrusion. jeno bottomed out before lifting a hand to pick the stray strands off of your sweat beaded forehead, lips pulled back into a devilish grin.
your heart began to race once you met his clouded gaze, unsure if that was a good sign,”jen—“
he pistoned forward, heavy length pile driving into you with no end and placed his hands on top of yours, forcing you down and pliant.
“slow, you idiot! i said slow!” you cried, back smashing against the headboard with every thrust. by the entranced look of pleasure on his face, you realized there was no getting through to jeno as he rut into you.
“so fucking tight. can’t believe you didn’t even ask for a condom. little whore wants me to breed her dumb pussy.”
quickly, your body began to take calm to jeno as one particular thrust had you pitifully moaning. “just like that.” you hummed, another shameless moan pouring out in suit regardless of his realization.
“y/n, i’m gonna turn you over.” jeno said lowly, hips slowing down to switch your position.
within a matter of seconds, you quickly found yourself face down into the sheets that reeked of jeno’s scent and your ass up.
jeno’s fingers gripped your waist bruisingly as he picked up, satisfied groans ripping out of his throat.
your face squished into the mattress with every thrust, annoying you to no ends but nonetheless drawing aroused noises out of you at your usage.
squeezing around him as well as you could, jeno’s head fell back and his hips gained momentum. you gasped as you felt his hand leave your hip and onto the back of your head, stuffing it into the bed.
“what are you doing!” you called out, words muffled by the duvet.
you could hear the preen in jeno’s taunting tone,”fuck you here? is that what you said?”
you laid confusedly before you felt him pull out all at once and tap his tip teasingly against your rim.
before you could protest, jeno was sliding into your gaping entrance again and thrusting with vigor, almost as if he wanted to silence you.
his actions were incalculable at this point, forcing you to believe he was just saying things to get you to react.
soon enough, his movements grew sloppy and breath got heavier, signaling to you that he was close until his creamed cock was sliding out and being pried into your rim.
your hips shot up at the intrusion, painful shouts eaten up by the mattress.
i’m going to kill him. you thought.
an animalistic growl ripped its way out of his throat as your hole slowly made way for his throbbing length,“fuck, i’m never pulling out. beg all you want. this hole belongs to me.”
your teeth grit down into themselves as your thighs tensed, you had lost all energy to try and push him off leaving you vulnerable to his thrusts.
jeno paused for a second, stilling inside of you. with the hand he used to push your head down, he was now using it to pull your head up, fingers threaded in your hair near the scalp.
ignoring your cries of pain, jeno leaned in and pressed his spit-licked lips to your ear, your body collapsing from his weight against your own,”was this the ass i’d never have? hm, y/n?” he whispered mockingly.
jeno snuck his free hand underneath you, using two fingers to pry open your drenched folds and using another to rub quick circles onto your clit.
small whines filled the room as he worked his hips into your hole, finger continuing to swipe at your quivering core.
“fuck, that’s it, baby. i knew you could take me here too. feels so fucking good.” he huffed out.
a muffled knock came at the door just then, motivating jeno to snap his hips into your ass and curl up the fingers dragging against your aching clit.
your head snapped over to the door, adrenaline rushing through your system as well as guttural moans spilling out once his brutal pace drove untimely squirts out of you.
your jaw hung slack as your orgasm hit you a pulse later, legs jolting up.
“jeno!”
“jeno, unlock the door! what are you doing in there!” the doorknob jiggled under pressure, frightening you into clenching madly.
“pull out, dumbass! it’s your owner!” you hissed, batting his hand out of your hair as you regained your senses.
“shut up, y/n, i’m gonna cum.” he groaned out throatily, digging his nose into your neck as his hips slowed. you felt his teeth graze the sensitive skin in the crease of your neck.
sighing irritatedly as he released inside of you, you kicked your legs out from under him,”we’re about to be in so much trouble, get the hell off!” you complained, flinching as the knocking on the door got louder.
“get under the covers and pretend you’re asleep.” jeno lazily muttered after rolling off of you and leisurely redressing.
he tossed your clothes at you to hide with you as he made his way to the door and shut the tv off, swinging the door open with annoyance.
“the sitter fell asleep while we were watching a movie, you didn’t have to do that. what are you doing home so early?” you heard jeno mutter.
your eyes were shut delicately, breathing lightly as silence fell over the room. you assumed you were being spectated.
“i got anxious. i know how you get around sitters and i insisted i leave early.” the unfamiliar voice sighed out. “when she wakes up tomorrow, you can tell her i’ve already paid her for the full night.”
“will do. anything else before i go back?” jeno asked impatiently.
“yes actually, there is. you forgot to pick up the girl’s underwear you little shit.”
freezing in his spot, jeno didn’t bother turning to see if it was true or not. “it was an accident.” he whined, shocking you at the soft sound. you were convinced he was incapable of anything remotely pleasant.
“we’ll talk about this in the morning. stay the hell away from the poor girl tonight. get downstairs, go.”
as if you could feel jeno’s icy glare shot towards you, your body tensed until all you heard was the door click shut and footsteps furthering down the hall.
you were positive you’d be quite familiar with this home soon enough. after all, you were good with dogs.

I did a short interview for an alumni spotlight on the CCA website. You can click through but I'll also just copy my answers below the cut.
Maia Kobabe (e/em/eir) is a nonbinary/queer/trans author and illustrator, a voracious reader, a k-pop fan, and a daydreamer. You can learn an astonishing number of intimate details about em in Gender Queer: A Memoir and in eir other short comics, published by The New Yorker, The Nib, The Washington Post and in many print anthologies. Gender Queer won a Stonewall Honor and an Alex Award from the American Library Association in 2020. It was also the most challenged book in the United States in 2021 and 2022.
Maia shares more about eir life as a full-time artist and activist, fighting to protect diverse literature and the freedom to access information.
1. What is your current practice/business?
I am a full time cartoonist. My job consists of days working at home writing and drawing mixed with days speaking out against book banning and censorship, and in support of the freedom to read, the freedom to teach, and the freedom to access information. I spend a lot of time talking with other authors, teachers, and librarians about protecting diverse and queer books from the current wave of conservative attacks. The first piece I drew for the comics journalism site The Nib was about the rise of fascism in the United States; my later writing about queer, trans, and nonbinary identities has led me into consistently political territory.
2. Why did you choose CCA?
I chose CCA because I was looking for a MFA Comics program, of which there are very few, and I wanted to stay in the Bay Area. Because I'm a local, I was able to meet the majority of the MFA Comics faculty before I applied and felt immediately welcomed into their community. The fact that a majority of my professors for the first year of the program were queer was a huge draw as well.
3. If you could share one piece of advice with current or future students, what would it be?
Every single person has a story only they could tell. No matter what media you are working in, do your best to tell the story which is uniquely yours. If you aren't ready to tell it yet, just keep making art until the time to share that story arrives. No time spent creating is ever wasted.
4. What's your secret to staying inspired and creative?
I realized fairly early in life that my very favorite way to spend the day was drawing while listening to music, a podcast, or an audiobook. I like making things! I would rather be making things than doing almost anything else. I created a life in which I can spend a lot of time creating things and even if I don't particularly know what I am making, I am happy.
5. What do you have coming up?
My second book, Breathe: Journeys to Healthy Binding, written with Dr Sarah Pietzmeier, is coming out in May 2024 from Dutton. It's a nonfiction comic about chest binding as an aspect of trans healthcare. I'm currently drawing my third book, Saachi's Stories, written with Lucky Srikumar; it's due out from Scholastic Graphix in 2026. I am also working on adapting Gender Queer: A Memoir into an audiobook.

Spectral Whispers: Exploring the Enigmatic Realm of Celtic Faeries with W.S.
The ethereal world of Celtic faeries, where tales of magic and wonder entwine with the whispers of the wind, guiding us through enchanted forests and across shimmering meadows. So, brew a cup of tea, settle in, and let us unveil the captivating allure of Celtic faerie folklore.
Tumblr media
Firstly while I will be using the term Fairies in this article for continuity, the Irish refrain from calling them the Fae or Fairies and Prefer to call them " The Good People' or " The Little People". The Fairies of the Emerald Isles were said to reside in a parallel universe to that of the mundane world.
Usually stated to be underground, the realm of the Fairies is said to be mostly invisible to human eyes. These are unlike the Fairies found within the writings of Disney and Modern Pop Culture. They are of a darker brood, Still Majestic and Beautiful, even downright awe inspiring. But many are said to be dangerous and uncaring for the mortals they Encounter in these folk tales.
So Let us go over some of the most well known Irish Fairies in celtic Folklore
The Who's Who of Tír na nÓg
There are hundreds of stories of faeries which stem from ireland, and while we won't go into every single one, here are some of my favorite honorable mentions from Ireland's beautiful folklore
Pooka: The Changer Of Forms
Commonly Referred to as Puca, it is a type of shape shifter in Irish Folklore which takes the shape of Animals or Humans. Commonly seen with forms similar to cats and horses, it was seen as unwise to anger these fae. Depending on the Area of Ireland, they are seen as either helpful, or as embodiments of chaos.
Tumblr media
Dullahan: The Headless
The Dullahan is a malevolent harbinger of death. It is said to be the embodiment of Crom Dubh, a fertility god who demanded blood sacrifice in the form of decapitation.
This aspect of Irish folklore has been incorporated into American folkloric traditions as well, specifically in the stories of the Headless Horseman. His stateside debut was in Washington Irving's 1849 short story " The legend of sleepy hollow" while inspired by the original Irish works, The headless horseman has become an American Halloween staple.
Giving nightmares to children for decades since its release :)
Tumblr media
Changelings: Stealer of babes
A fairy that was left in place of a human child or baby who had been stolen by the fairies. The baby was to live amongst the humans as they raised the other in the fae realm. The stories differ depending on the situation, it was often used to explain away different developmental delays, or even unexplainable deaths of their small children.
Humans would often leave these babies out in the woods to parish if they believed they were changelings, to them they hoped by leaving them the faeries would take the trade and give them their baby back.
Tumblr media
Banshees: Screams Of Warning
a female spirit who wails outside a home to warn of the imminent death of a family member. The scream is also known as "caoine," which literally translates to "keening". She has also been called woman of the mound as in many of the stories she stands outside the homes and cry's from the fairy Mounds.
Tumblr media
Leprechaun: Punishers Of Greed
a type of fairy that is often depicted as a tiny, bearded man wearing an emerald ensemble. Leprechauns are said to live in remote places and make shoes and brogues. They are solitary by nature and are a symbol of what happens when you let your greed win. Quit literally the Folly of the Get Rich Quick Mentality Of Many Humans.
Tumblr media
These are but a small sample of the many fairies found throughout Irish and Celtic Folklore, These specifically can trace their origins back to The Tuatha De Danann or fairy nobility. Also seen as Gods and Demons depending on the era. As well as the original inhabitants of Ireland who only Tolerate our existence so long as we don't disturb the places and sacred sites they hold dear.
Faeries impact on Modern Day
All over Ireland, farmers have left portions of their land, in the form of Ring Forts untouched for centuries. These are believed to be the homes of the fairies and are overgrown with shrubs and bush. But farmers would rather see this resource go to waste than risk incurring the wrath of the fairies, which can result in anything from crop failure to DEATH.
This a recurring theme you will see throughout Irish history a respect for the property owned by the Fae and a rightful fear at the consequences of disturbing sacred ground.
Tumblr media
How to not Piss Off The Fae
Folk Practices to appease fairies or at the very least keep you on their good side include Offerings of sweets and goods in which holds value to the person leaving the offering, back in the day it was things like this
Milk or cream
Bread
Honey
Butter
Porridge
Gold
Tobacco
Poitín
I hope you enjoyed learning about the faeries of Celtic Folklore with me today, remember to stay curious my friends.

I just finished your Magnum Opus, and it was super great. I especially loved the Pinkie chapter (which surprised me because she’s my least favorite character!). Anyway, do you have any mlp fic recommendations?
oh boy do i have a list for you, strap in!
if you read my magnum opus writeup, you may have seen i mentioned three authors that dragged me back into mlp. if you're interested in sciset (and what's probably the most popular eqg fic on the entire site), Long Road to Friendship by Albi is a longfic that started after the first eqg movie and is a rlly lighthearted read. i don't normally care for OCs but gosh if i dont accept Albi's version of trixie's parents as canon in my heart haha. if you're interested in pony adventure fic, i also rlly liked Sunset of Time, another rlly well done longfic ive carried in my brain since i first read it xd
the second author, Monochromatic, aka the raritwi authority aka someone who has a GREAT taste in editors, has written three of the most formative longfic ive ever read: The Enchanted Library, its sequel The Enchanted Kingdom, and Crimson Lips which i unfortunately can no longer link since she's taken it down, but i believe you can still buy physically through PFP if you wanted to take a gamble on it (it would be a very good gamble). apart from her longfic though i also adore some of her shorter works, including but not limited to The Choices We Make, a really interesting Pinkie study that's definitely shaped how i view her, Your Own Worst Enemy, which is just. peak rarity content, and Injuring Eternity, which while being one of her older works still has certain passages that wreck me emotionally on sight.
and the third author responsible for my magnum opus is the one and only Aragon, who i can not only recommend for his fics but ALSO for his blog posts and comics (see the comic index on his profile for links to all of them, as well as this amazing blogpost about his neighbour that is just peak comedy). he's also the writer responsible for the banger longfic Crime and Funishment which absolutely defined my writing aspirations for a few years and is the definition of comedy if you looked it up in my heart, as well as In Hindsight, yet another banger rarity fic, and Love Is In Doom which is just bloody, silly, stupid fun (and has sunset shimmer in it)
and then if we want to talk fics i love written by other authors, Sleepless Knights by r5h has my favourite brand of scitwi written right into the margins, Administrative Angel by horizon has one of the most amazing endings to an opening chapter ive ever read AND an amazing celestia, The Best Night Ever by Capn_Chryssalid is a fandom classic with a groundhog day twist on the gala episode from s1, Side by Side by Krickis is a feel-good rarijack oneshot w a focus on lgbt (specifically trans) themes, Wax Earplugs by Reedhoarse has a dysfunctional mess of an adagio dazzle that i adore, Merge Request by FanOfMostEverything has all the scitwi/midnight shenanigans you could ask for wrapped up in the relatable content of github hell, Guppy Love by PaulAsaran is a rarijack longfic with an incredibly realistic setting and an interpretation of mermaids that i love so much, Doused Flame by heartlessons has me handshaking on the "sopping wet pathetic relatable guy" flash sentry interpretation that won me over recently, 80 Days 'Til the World's Farthest Shore by Cynewulf feels like reading a professionally published short story (and i mean that in the best of ways, it's enthralling), and finally if you'll allow me to be self-centred a bit i also am very proud of my two oneshots Heartstrings and Something About Midnights if you wanted to check em out too xd
oops long post!! im not sorry for it, i hope you can find something in here that catches your fancy (or even all of it haha), there's soooo many incredible fics in the fandom it floors me every day that i can read all these incredible works for free!!!

Best Tools to Track Your NaNoWriMo Progress
The NaNoWriMo site allows anyone who signs up for a free account to set their word count through their dashboard. There are plenty of other resources to help you too, but if that’s not your style, these are other tools to track your NaNoWriMo progress. See if you like any before November begins to tackle your manuscript even faster.
Note: None of these are paid promotions or affiliate links. They’re just recommendations based on what I and other writers have found helpful in the past!
1. FocusWriter
Writers often start exploring the world of creative writing tools by downloading FocusWriter. The free program hides everything on your screen except your document and shows a custom background instead, like the wooden background below.
Use the settings to customize each writing experience and keep track of your daily NaNoWriMo word count goals. It even spell checks for you, which speeds up your editing process.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. NovProg
NovProg is a free writing resource that’s best for people who don’t want any hassle on their screens. If you’re into graphs, this might be the tool you love. The program makes graphs of your daily word count progress so you have more visual encouragement during your NaNoWriMo experience.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3. Scrivener
Scrivener is a popular software within the creative writing community. You can use the free trial to see if it’s your thing before Scrivener requires a $51 purchase for Mac users or $60 for PC users.
It’s expensive, but popular for a reason. The program has file organization options for planners and writers who don’t outline their work. Save character outlines, track your word count, save photos, and store links to inspirational Scrivener corkboards.
The software also lets writers research from within Scrivener. You won’t need to open a Google tab (and potentially whatever internet distractions await you) to double-check information or even transcribe an interview.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. MyWriteClub
Name and update your word count goals automatically by writing alongside MyWriteClub. The simple progress bar even updates with encouragement from friends who use MyWriteClub. Their notes will pop up under your word count as you work on your NaNoWriMo projects together. It takes away the loneliness that can sometimes come with writing stories by yourself.
If you don’t have any in-person friends doing NaNoWriMo, there are global writing sprints available for MyWriteClub users. The 15-minute focus sessions connect writers as they work on their word count goal for the day. It might be the encouragement you need to stay on track, especially if you get bored writing by yourself.
Tumblr media
5. Fighter’s Block
Merge your love of video games and creative writing with Fighter’s Block. After setting your word count goal within the website, you’ll become a character fighting a monster. The monster wants to destroy your words, but your word count progress keeps it at bay.
Tumblr media
6. Write or Die
This is another infamous tool in the creative writing world. It’s what you might want to try when you need extreme help with knocking out your daily word count.
Input your word count goal and start writing. If you slow down or miss your goal, the program deletes random chunks of your work. You’ll get a few warnings, but the deletion often happens sooner than writers expect. It’s better to use this program when you know what you need to write, but need a push to stay with your manuscript until you’re done for the day.
Change the settings outlined in yellow below to match what you need from your writing experience. There’s also a setting to get encouragement instead of your work deleted, if you’d prefer that. Click the Ready button and your screen updates—you’ll have a blank space to work in the middle.
You can purchase this program for $10 for both Mac and PC, but the free version works for many writers who just want to do short writing sprints.
Tumblr media
7. Coffitivity
Writing with background noises is one of my favorite things to do when I need to focus. It helps me stay away from anxious thoughts or external distractions. If you don’t want to use YouTube or another music app while you write, Coffitivity is here to help.
This program has a library of background noises that recreate ambient environments, like coffee shops. The low chattering and clinking of dishes could help you stay focused or defeat any writing anxiety associated with looming NaNoWriMo deadlines.
Tumblr media
8. Pacemaker Planner
Remember how I mentioned that breaking your goals down makes NaNoWriMo easier? That might seem impossible if you’re not usually making lists and goals for yourself outside your writing routine.
Pacemaker Planner removes the guesswork. If you give it your overall word count, your final deadline (November 30), and how much time you estimate you’ll have for your writing each day, it’ll calculate your daily word count for you.
The graphing option also adds more flexibility to your goals. Let’s say you’ll be more free in the middle of November than the beginning or end. Select the Mountain Hike strategy. The program recalculates your daily goals according to your preferred writing strategy so you’ll get higher word counts when you’re actually free to write.
The free version is great for NaNoWriMo purposes, but there’s also a Premium version you can get to plan your full yearly calendar and daily schedule, if you enjoy the program.
Tumblr media
-----
You don’t have to cross your fingers and hope to conquer NaNoWriMo this year. Try these tools while they’re still time to explore your options. Whether you want to plan the whole month or turn your word count into a game, you’ll have more success after seeing which tools are at your disposal.

going on a short break + psa about success stories
Tumblr media
hi everyone! i’m going to stop posting so much on this acc, but i’m not leaving ofc. 🥹
there’s two reasons, but the main one is because these next three weeks are where the last exams, last assignments, and presentations are due before finals, so i really need to focus on that. if i get tagged on something i’ll still reply, and i’m gonna turn on notifications for my mutuals so i can still check out every post!
the second reason is more tricky, and it has to do with a confession i read yesterday. in short, there was a post where a person basically said that people migrating from amino and shifttok (like me) were lying about their experiences.
i joined in 2023 and have liked every success story that i have come across since then. that argument reminds me of 2021 amino where every new person that came out with good news was instantly shunned and harrassed, and it led me to leaving the community because it was discouraging to see so many people fighting.
i’ve read many people say that this is turning into shifttok with the discourse, but discourse is bred from confession accounts, not new shifters or whatever that person said.
posts i see on my dash are just people talking about their drs and interacting with their shifting mutuals by sharing things like their scripts and stuff. and in my opinion, that’s what a community is. so yeah, maybe there’s a few people arguing about misinformation, but that happens in every learning space. best we can all do is block whatever we don’t like and move on.
but i’m going on a tangent lol. how would people know if a success story is real or not? imagine if you had an experience and someone commented on how that’s not true because the way it’s written makes it sound like a wattpad fic? or because it’s unrealistic?
yeah, there’s fake stories around (this is tumblr y’all i was here when the weed smoking girlfriends guy was a thing) but why does that matter? sure, they may be instilling false hopes. but shifting is real, even if some stories are not.
there’s hundreds of good blogs with information on here. if there is one you think is lying, then block or don’t listen to them. including myself.
it should be encouraging to see so many people succeeding, not the other way around.
regarding my own success story
before i continue, i wanna put this out there first. i am not backtracking on my own posts. but i wanna clarify something because i actually shifted this morning. (not to my dr, but i shifted). and it made me understand more about the experience i will talk about below.
a while back, i made this post about my own shifting experience. it truly did feel like a shift to me, so i made a post thinking it would be nice to share. everything i said on that post is true, but it did not occur to me that i could be spreading misinfo by writing it down before i could reflect on what happened, and for that i am sorry.
that confession i mentioned at the beginning of this post said something about people having really vivid lucid dreams and passing them on as a shift, and i think that’s what happened here. i’ve been thinking about it for a while and it’s been eating me up whenever i wonder if my post would count as a fake success or not.
anyways, the point i’m trying to make here is that i’m taking a break from this site for a short while. i noticed i’ve been over sharing(? a lot, so i wanna stop and focus on my own journey instead of over consuming information. and i don’t wanna post things that might ruin other’s journeys either. we are all master manifestors, and we don’t need outside sources to shift.
i don’t wanna leave this community. i’ve met so many good people in here, and i even found a mutual shifting to my same dr and- hello??? that’s never happened to me before! i love hearing about other people’s drs, and that’s my favorite part about the tumblr community. i think the constant interaction is something we should value.
we are all unique and that we all learn at a different pace. so let’s not overthink whether or not a success story is real, and instead put that energy into shifting. see you in two-three weeks!

CHAPTER THREE: A PICNIC FOR THREE.
“Of course, ma’am!” you chirp into the phone. “I’ll let Mr. Fushiyomo know. Thank you for calling and have a good day!”
You finally hang up the phone after the sweet lady says farewell and drop your smile as you let out a deep, bellied sigh. You look at the clock on the desktop computer that you have in your cubicle. Only fifteen minutes until your lunch break.
You press a hand to your rumbling stomach. You’re not sure where to go for lunch today. Maybe the cafeteria or that little cafe a block down from the agency. They’ve got good salads and sandwiches there.
But you can’t even focus on your hunger with how much your pussy is throbbing. You sit in your cubicle now, your legs pressed tightly against each other under your desk. You could always rub your clit or finger yourself to ease the tension. Everyone is too busy working to notice, so they wouldn’t know. But you would know, and you’d die of shame if you did that.
However, the ache isn’t as bad as this morning. Before you got dressed and left for work, you gave yourself two more orgasms–one with your fingers and the next by (embarrassingly) rubbing your panty-covered clit against the corner of your kitchen counter while your coffee brewed. After that, you made up your iced coffee, got your key card for the bus, and were on the move.
Even better, though you missed them terribly and ached to see them, your boyfriends haven’t called you since this morning when you sprouted into heat. You suppose it’s for the best since you’re sure you’d jump their bones as soon as you saw them. Other than that, none of your symptoms have gotten worse. “So far, so good,” you whisper to yourself.
You turn to your computer to get some more work done before lunch, wanting to distract yourself from the naughty daydreams.
However, God seems to have another plan for you when you hear a soft knock on the wall of your cubicle. You turn with a smile plastered on your face, expecting to see a coworker or your boss or the bitch secretary he has that you’re sure he’s fucking around with.
However, your smile fades when you see Kiri standing there, leaning up against your cubicle with those damn tattooed arms crossed and a toothy smile on his face. His hair is pinned back in a low ponytail, accentuating his handsome face where an eyebrow piercing adorns his brow. He’s out of his hero fit for the day, dressed in some ripped jeans and a nice pink button-down that stretches over his pecks and abs. Why the fuck did he have to wear pink and look so yummy in it? Does he hate you?
“Sorry,” he chuckles sheepishly. “Was just tryna find the bathroom.” You turn around fully in your chair, anxious now. “What are you doing in here?” you whisper. You peek over your cubicle at the others, wondering if anyone is watching and wondering why the hell Red Riot is conversing with one of the office workers. Especially the bunny girl.
“Relax, cutie,” he snickers softly. “I come to the office all the time to see if any reports come in. Just came to see if you had lunch yet.” You shake your head, doing your best to keep your thighs shut tightly. “Not yet, no. I go in...” You look at the time. “Ten minutes.”
“Then in ten minutes, you meet me and Katsuki outside,” he says with a secretive smile. “Can’t tell you why. It’s a surprise. But trust me; you’ll love it!” He puts his large hand out for yours, a sweet look in his eyes. Slowly, you put your hand in his and regret it instantly because the physical contact only makes your pussy throb more for him.
Slowly, Kiri bends down and presses his lips to your knuckles, his eyes pinned to yours. You only watch, soft, baited breaths coming out from your parted lips. Your body shivers at the feeling of his lips on your skin and you imagine it in other places. You feel your ears and tail twitch excitedly.
He then winks at you as he departs. “Ten minutes,” he whispers. “Don’t be late, cutie.” Then he’s walking out of your cubicle, whistling as he does. You sit there speechless for a few seconds, trying to process what just happened.
Then you wonder if you just even go ahead and meet up with them judging from your body’s reactions to the sheer sight of Kiri. Obviously, he wants you to go to lunch with them, but can you really stand to sit in the same presence as your sexy and attractive boyfriends while you’re like this? You sigh, groaning softly as you look up at the ceiling of your office. For one, you’re hungry, and two, you don’t want your cycle to keep you away from your boys. Plus, you owe it to them to talk about this. They deserve to know...maybe after lunch though.
So, against your better judgment, you leave your cubicle when your lunch break finally arrives. Before you leave the building, you stop by the bathroom to check yourself out and make sure you look ‘normal’.
You smile at your cute outfit for the day: a top with a sweetheart neckline you paired with a push-up bra, the combo making your breasts look immaculate; a pencil skirt that hugs your ass and hips; and a light cardigan to hide your tail and pair with your flats. Your ears are tied down with an elastic band underneath your hair, concealing all signs of a bunny girl. “You’ve got this, bitch,” you whisper to yourself. Then you’re hustling out the door and the building into the bright sun rays and the warm air of spring.
And finding yourself face to face with your fine-ass boyfriends and their sports car. Kiri sits on the hood of the car while Bakugou is leaning up against the driver’s door, arms crossed and one foot up. He is out of his hero fit as well, instead dressed in a black tee that looks so small on his lean build, jeans, black kicks, and a denim jacket. Though the sleeves conceal his tatts, you can see the ones that lace his knuckles and the one on his neck that drives you insane.
He’s already looking at you as you descend down the steps to the agency’s front doors, the sun glinting against the lip ring dangling from his plump, pink bottom lip and the platinum hairs on his head he has cut into an undercut along the sides. He pushes his Ray Bans up on his head and your clit jumps at the sight of his ruby-red eyes. “Took ya long enough,” he grumbles with a smirk. “Thought I was gonna have to drag you out of there by them ears.”
“You could’ve tried,” you hum, crossing your arms as you eye him up and down. “That would’ve gotten you a black eye AND no love from me.” Bakugou yanks you forward by your skirt waistband and with a tiny yelp, you fall into his open arms. “You had me at no love,” he whispers against your jaw before kissing you there. The tiny act of affection sends your senses into hyperdrive, as well as his scent. Like vanilla with a hint of cologne.
When Kiri comes up behind you to give you a squeeze, his scent of cinnamon and his own cologne doesn’t make it any better. Not to mention his hard muscles pushing up against your back as he wraps his arms around you and Bakugou. You swallow hard, your heart throbbing in your chest when you find yourself trapped between them. “U-Um,” you stutter. “Shouldn’t we get in the car? Won’t someone see us?”
“Who cares?” Bakugou grumbles. “Anyone says shit, they can deal with me.”
“It’s about time we went public with our relationship, don’t you think?” Kiri chuckles as he pecks your neck. “At work, I mean. I think we’ve been lowkey for long enough, don’t you?” You’re speechless, their words processing slowly in your head. Then a stupid grin slides across your face
as well as your ears fighting to rise from their trap in the elastic band and pulses making their way to your clit.
You don’t have a chance to reply because they’re suddenly freeing you of their trap and Bakugou is opening the car door for you. “You gettin’ in or what?” he asks. “I’m starving.” As you crawl into the backseat, he gives you an open-palmed smack on the ass that makes you yelp and your tail twitch. Bakugou cackles. “Fuck, that’s adorable!” he laughs before he’s shutting the door and making his way to the driver’s side while Kiri slides into the passenger’s seat.
“So where are we going?” you ask curiously, trying to calm your ears by smoothening them down. Kiri and Bakugou look back at you, mischievous and excited. “It’s a surprise” is all Kiri replies with as Bakugou starts the car, and you’re peeling away from the agency, windows down and wind in your hair.
As Bakugou peels down the streets of Musutafu, Kiri and you rap along to Kiri’s playlist of favorite hip-hop songs, the entire tiny space of the car taken up by the sounds of your voices and the spring air blowing through the open window. You giggle and laugh, feeling giddy and happy as you sit in the backseat, feeling good to be with the two people you feel so close to.
The drive doesn’t last long; it lasts for only fifteen minutes. After coming off a highway, Bakugou parks the car in the parking lot in a famous park in Musustafu, known for its lush plantlife, animal reserve, hiking trails, lakes for fishing, and playground for the kids. You don’t see too many cars parked when Kiri helps out of the backseat being that it’s a weekday. Everyone is either in school or at work.
Which means you three are practically alone, surrounded by gorgeous, lush wildlife. For some reason, this makes your stomach flip. You eye the park map in front of you, noticing Bakugou parked on the side where the hiking trails are closer. “Where are y’all takin’ me?” you ask, laughing lightly. “This is how horror movies start, y’know. Taking me into a deep, dark forest to chop me up into little bits.”
You turn to look at them, finding a blindfold dangling from Bakugou’s hand and an evil glint in his eye. Your eyes go wide and the fur on your ears stands on end. “Am I right?” you whimper.
Kiri throws his head back at laughs. “Relax, bunny,” he coos, nudging Bakugou. “This is for your surprise. We’ll take it off you once we’re there.”
Bakugou twirls his finger, signaling you to turn around. Though still reluctant, you slowly do as he says and softly gasp when the blindfold is suddenly over your eyes. You stand rigidly still as you feel his calloused fingers gently brush your neck and your ears. It is enough to make you burst. “Good girl,” he coos in your ear. “Can you see?” You wordlessly shake your head, your tongue dryer than sandpaper.
“Now up you go!” Kiri exclaims and you yelp, suddenly finding yourself off the ground and in his rock-solid, tatted-up arms. Your head leans against his solid chest as he brings you closer to him, one arm securely under your legs while the other is wrapped around your lower back. “Your personal chauffeur is here to assist you,” he chuckles. “Lead the way, Katsuki!”
With the scent of Kiri’s cologne and eucalyptus-scented shampoo in your nostrils, you feel him begin to move as he follows Katsuki to God knows where. With you being blind, all of your other senses are hyperaroused–you hear the sound of leaves and twigs crunching under your boyfriends’ footsteps and the sweet chirp of birds above and in the trees; you smell the scent of fresh manure, planted flowers, and mingling scents of Katsuki and Kiri, sweet and spicy; you feel the sun rays and the breeze on your skin, caressing the thin airs there. You softly sigh and lean your head against Kiri, relaxed. You could stay like this forever.
“Kay, we’re here,” Bakugou suddenly announces in his gruff voice. Slowly, Kiri sets you down on your feet. “Can y’all get this blindfold off me now?” you ask, impatient and wanting to get a look at this surprise. Kiri chuckles and does it for you, expertly untying the blindfold. “Okay,” he whispers. “Now open your eyes.”
You do so, blinking rapidly in the bright sun rays. “Ta-da!” he shouts, grinning happily at you, practically shoving Bakugou out of the way to proudly present your surprise to you. Your eyes are still adjusting to the sun, so you don’t start to register your surprise until a few seconds later.
And when they finally do, you can’t believe what you’re seeing. Settled in the middle of a beautiful clearing of wildflowers beside a babbling brook is the cutest little picnic you’ve ever seen. A plush All Might blanket is laid down on the grass, pinned down at the corners by several rocks. On top of the blanket sits a wicker basket and several dishes of fried chicken kara-age, rice balls, and bento meals.
You’re at a loss for words for a moment, taking in the setup. “Wha...” You close your mouth, realizing it’s hanging open. “What is this?” you softly ask, looking at your boyfriends. Bakugou scowls at you. “It’s a picnic,” he scoffs. “What the fuck else does it look like?”
Taking your hand, Kiri brings you closer to the picnic spread. “We know we haven’t had time to be together for a minute because of work, so we decided why not throw a nice picnic for you?.” He turns you around to face him, his eyes soft. “Plus, you’ve been working so hard, honey. We just wanted to show you some appreciation. Do you like it?”
“I...” Once again, you’re at a loss for words as you look between your boyfriends, one doing his best to hide his anxiousness than the other. You look at the picnic spread once more, your eyes taking in the food they made and paid for. How long did this take? How long had they been planning this?
And suddenly, your eyes begin to brim with tears. “Guys, I love it. No one’s ever done anything like this for me.” You cover your heart, touched. “Thank you.” Kiri’s face splits into a grin while Bakugou simply smirks. “You can thank us by sitting down and letting us feed you,” he replies before taking your hand and leading you away from Kiri who pouts at you being stolen from him.
You giggle as you’re sat down on the plush blanket. You sit with your legs folded under you and firmly pressed together. You won’t be caught slipping today. Bakugou and Kiri take their seats on either side of you and proceed to set up shop. Once the plates are passed out and the green iced tea is poured from the thermos, you dig into your lunch. You take a bite out of the kara-age first and your eyes widen as multiple flavors explode on your tongue. “Mmm!” you moan as you chew. “Oh, my God, this is amazing!”
Kiri laughs as he takes a bite out of his rice ball. “Thank Katsuki. He cooked most of the food.” Bakugou blushes but tries to hide by turning his face as he sips his tea. You look around at your surroundings fit for a painting. “How did you even find this place?”
“During a hiking trip last summer,” Kiri explains, a bit of rice on the corner of his lips. You wanna lick it off. “We got lost and just wound up finding this hidden gem.” He peers up at the trees above, the sun like a halo above the leaves. The golden rays illuminate his handsome face, making him appear almost angelic to you.
You feel a hand on your knee and you’re pulled out of your transfixed state to see Bakugou’s eyes on you. “This place is special to us,” he gruffly says. “And so are you.” His rough hand strokes your skin, his pinkie finger inching under the hem of your skirt.
Your body temperature grows, and the sun isn’t responsible. You can feel your pussy tightening at the soft touch of your boyfriend’s hand, almost wishing he’d move his hand up to your thigh under your skirt. ‘Stop,’ you scold yourself. Quickly, you move your leg from Bakugou’s touch, but act like it’s only because you’re shifting positions to get comfortable.
Luckily, he doesn’t notice. He’s too busy digging a strawberry out of the bowl of fruit to notice. He turns to you, the red fruit between his fingers. “Want one?” he asks. You nod, going to pluck yourself a strawberry or even a cantaloupe cube. However, he firmly lowers your hand, covering it with his own. His eyes are stern. “Uh-uh, hands down. I said I wanted to feed you.” Before you can answer, he takes advantage of your parted lips and slowly inserts the strawberry between them.
Your mouth opens wider on instinct, allowing his two digits to slip in between to put the small, red berry on your tongue. As your lips close around it, they also close around Bakugou’s fingers. He hums in satisfaction as his fingers slowly exit your mouth, his eyes staring into your eyes every single tortuous moment.
You’re not sure if Kiri notices and you can’t bring yourself to check. Your eyes are too transfixed on the heat in Bakugou’s gaze as he pops another strawberry in his mouth, some of the red juice dribbling down the corner of his mouth. Your ears and tail twitch at the sight, begging and pleading to be touched and stroked. Your heart is pounding so fast and loud in your ears that you’re afraid Kiri and Bakugou hear it too. Not to mention your pussy. The poor girl is gushing, soiling your panties as you do your best to conceal the feeling by squeezing your legs together.
‘Just breathe,’ you think, attempting to do abdomen breathing. ‘Just fuckin’ breathe. You’re fine. You’ve got this. You–’
“Hey, you alright?” Kiri’s deep voice laced with concern snaps you out of your self-soothing state. You turn to him and see the worry in his softened eyes. “Yeah!” you squeak a little too forcefully. You clear your throat and try again, acting like you’re not horny as fuck. “Yeah, why?”
“You seem kinda jumpy.” Kiri quirks a reassuring smile at you as he takes a bit of kara-age. “I promise an axe-wielding maniac isn’t gonna interrupt us. And if they do, you’ve got us for protection.” He curls his arm at you, winking. You manage to laugh, but at this point, you’d welcome an axe-wielding maniac to avoid creaming all over yourself and embarrassing yourself to your boyfriends. How the hell are you going to survive the rest of this lunch if they’re this sexy?
Kiri must notice you internally battling with yourself because he puts his hand on yours. The small, innocent touch is enough to make you yelp, your tail twitching even more. “You sure you’re good?” he asks, squinting at you. “Sweetheart, you know you can tell us anything, right? We wanna make you happy.”
Bakugou hums in agreement from the other side of you, scooting closer to put a hand on your lower back.‘Oh, God,’you think to yourself, begging for release from this sweet torture. What would really make you happy is them taking you right here, right now on this blanket: one of their faces between your thighs, their fingers plunged in your pussy, while the other is behind you tweaking at your nipples or even sliding their cock in your mouth.
You quickly grasp onto the first explanation you can think of. “Guess I’m thinking about everything I’ll have to do when I get back to work,” you sigh apologetically. “I’m afraid I can’t turn off my worker switch.”
Bakugou scoots closer, laying a hand on your thigh. “We can help with that,” he whispers against the shell of your ear. It reacts immediately, twitching against the elastic band holding it down “Let her eat first, Katsuki, jeez!” Kiri scoffs, rolling his eyes. “And you call me a pervert.”
Bakugou tells him he is, indeed, a pervert, but leaves you alone for a while to eat (and avoid whipping his dick out yourself). The rest of lunch is luckily a breeze, nothing but jokes, stories, and sharing the dango Bakugou packed. When all the food is nearly gone, you sit back and sigh, your stomach full and head foggy.
You smile in gratitude at your boyfriends. “That was amazing,” you yawn, earning a laugh from Kiri. “Thank you.” You’re now in need of a nap, but there’s no way you can sleep with your body going through such turmoil.
“Of course,” Kiri hums, happy that you’re happy. Bakugou finishes cleaning up and sets the basket aside before fixing you with a rather intense stare. “So about this ear thing…”
You blanch, the happy, content feeling you felt from the food dying. Of course, he’d bring this shit up. “Do you like gettin’ your ears tugged or touched on?” he asks, raising an interested eyebrow. You turn to Kiri for help, but even he looks intrigued, lying on his side as he stares up at you.
“Um...” Nervous butterflies flutter around in your stomach. You’ve never talked about this with them before, except for some stories of strangers tugging on your ears which indirectly let them know to steer clear of them and your tail. They’re the most sensitive parts of your body. “W-Well, only with people I really trust,” you struggle to answer. “Like y’all two, for example.”
’Fuck!’ you think. That was the wrong answer. “Huh,” Kiri says, sounding surprised. “I was sure you didn’t like that because of the kind of shit you put up with from strangers.”
“That’s only with unsolicited and non-consensual contact,” you explain. “But with you two...” You wriggle around under their hot gazes and the sun’s rays, feeling like you’re in an oven. “I’d definitely consent...i-if you want to!”
What the fuck are you doing? You know if they even so much as graze your ears or tail, which are already hyper-aroused, it’s over for you. There’s no way you wouldn’t want them to fuck you right on this blanket. ’It’s only one touch,’ you think, criticizing the logical part of you. ‘What’s the harm in that? Plus, you’ve been dating them for five months. It’s not like you’re letting them finger you.’ ...Though you want them to.
Bakugou looks like he just won the lottery. “Shit, are you kidding?” he scoffs. “I’ve been wanting to touch on these cute lil’ things for months now.” The way he eyes your ears makes you flush. Kiri sits up straighter, his eyes trained on your ears as well. “Me too,” he agrees softly, “but let us know if you want us to stop or slow down. I know this is something we’ve never done before.”
You nod and keep your hands firmly in your lap as their hands move toward your ears. They’re slow and careful, giving you time to react if you want. When you don’t, they take that as a yes to keep going. When their fingers make contact with the tips of your ears, the little spark of pleasure that explodes in your body is instant.
Your lips part to gasp softly as they begin to slowly stroke your ears from tip to base and back again. They are careful and gentle, stroking the soft fur in time with each other. You stay relaxed, not wanting to scare them, but damn, does it feel good! And it feels so, so wrong to feel this good. The sweet nothings they whisper to you don’t make your situation any better: “Wow, babe,” Kiri coos in wonder. “They’re so soft...so pretty...”
Bakugou grunts in agreement. “It’s a shame you keep ‘em tied back like this. Pretty lil’ things are so restricted.” He gently kneads the tip of your ear between his forefinger and thumb before tugging on it gently. The tiny ministration makes your clit jump and your core feel warm. You’re gonna squirt right now if you don’t stop this.
“O-Okay, guys,” you squeak. “I think we should–” You feel your ears aggressively twitch, causing Kiri to gasp. “They’re twitching!” he announces. “Maybe we should take ‘em out of this elastic band, you think?”
“Wait, Kiri, don’t!” you shout in a warning, but it’s too late. He’s already moving to unwind the band from the base of your ears, releasing them. Your ears stand up on top of your head, excited and aroused. The fur there is fluffy and frazzled as if charged by electricity, desperate for more stimulation. Your tail does the same–it is fluffier than usual and twitching annoyingly, wanting the same treatment.
You’re practically dying from embarrassment, feeling your boyfriends’ eyes on you. “Uh...does that usually happen with your ears?” Kiri carefully asks. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen them like this.”
“No,” you groan, wanting to crawl into a hole and die. “And your tail is fluffier than usual,” Bakugou adds, plucking the cotton tail connected to the top of your ass. You whimper at the contact and he notices. “What gives?” he asks with a confused scowl.
Now there’s no choice but to tell them. You heave a defeated sigh, turning around to face them both. “I have to talk to you guys about something, and please don’t laugh because this is so embarrassing for me.”
They say nothing and you take that as green to go. Imagining Mina and Jirou hyping you up, you look your boyfriends in the face. “Y’all know anything about spring cycles?” you ask.
The way your boyfriends are looking at you, you’d think you asked if they knew the name of every star in the solar system. They stare at each other, sharing the same look of pure confusion. “Uh...” Kiri trails off, sounding lost. “No clue.”
“What the hell are you talkin’ about?” Bakugou scoffs, scowling at you. “The fuck is a spring cycle?” You sigh, realizing that now you’d have to explain it.
“It’s...well...” Your shoulders slump as your mind goes blank, not sure how to start this. “Fuck, this is gonna be harder than I thought.” How are you supposed to tell them about this without looking like a dick-sick freak? You’d look exactly like what people think bunny girls are (according to you and your experiences).
Kiri scoots closer to you and puts a comforting hand on your back. “Take your time, babe,” he says encouragingly. “We won’t rush you or judge you. You know we’re great listeners.”
Yes, they absolutely are. Through all of these five months of getting to know each other, whether you’re talking about your favorite foods or the daily struggles and troubles of being a bunny girl, they listened to you intently, all eyes on you. And they’ve never, ever judged you. You inhale deeply through your nose, attempting to calm yourself. You can do this. You have to.
“Okay,” you exhale, more to yourself than to them. “I don’t know if y’all learned this in school, but some mammals go into these cycles during the spring that leads to mating...since the springtime is mating season and…”
You trail off, realizing you are rambling and the guys are becoming even more confused. You bite your bottom lip as the butterflies in your stomach continue to flutter about. But you won’t let them stop you. “As an animal hybrid,” you continue, “I go into these cycles every spring too. Usually, they begin on the first day of spring, but mine is a bit early. It’s kinda like when a woman goes through menstruation every month, but I don’t bleed or have any cramps during this cycle. However, I do have mood swings and my body can become overly sensitive.”
You stop, dropping your head to stare down at your hands. “I ovulate more too,” you mumble.
You wait for either one of your boyfriends to reply, but after a beat of silence, you realize they’re too quiet. You look up at them, finding them wearing the same confused stares they were minutes before.
“You’re losin’ me,” Bakugou says, looking increasingly pissed. You groan in frustration, running a hand down your face. “Fuck!” you snap. “I’m in heat, okay? I’m going through a heat cycle!”
The guys are once again silent, but it’s a different type of silence now that the truth is in the air. “Wait,” Kiri says, slowly processing your words. “People with animal quirks go through that too? Wait, does that mean Rumi and Hawks go through the same shit?”
“And any other pro hero or regular person with an animal quirk?” Bakugou asks curiously
“Technically, yes,” you reply, “but it doesn’t affect every person with an animal-type quirk the same way. We all go through heat differently, but they all start at the same time. For me, my body temperature and heart rate increase, I get short of breath, and certain parts of my body become very sensitive very quickly.”
“Like your ears and tail,” Kiri adds, the wheels in his head finally turning. You slowly nod, and as if validating this, your tail gives a little twitch. The handsome redhead sits back on his haunches, this new information processing all over his face.
Bakugou looks almost amused, with a bit of disbelief thrown in the mix. “So the reason you’ve been actin’ so weird is because you’re horny?” he scoffs, trying not to laugh. You manage to crack a smile, glad this is going so smoothly. They’re not mad. They’re not disgusted.
“Extremely, unbelievably horny,” you answer honestly. “It doesn’t help that I’m so attracted to both of you.” The two smile happily at this. “Any time you touch or even look at me, I’m ready to...” You flush, your words falling short.
“Fuck us?” Bakugou finishes, raising his pierced eyebrow. You wordlessly nod, avoiding eye contact. “Well, that explains a lot,” Kiri comments, moving to hold your hand in his. His gaze is soft and adoring. “Baby, why didn’t you just talk to us about this? If it’s bothering you, we wanna help you.”
Under his loving touch and eyes, and Bakugou’s intense stare, you feel extremely stupid. “Because,” you reply, shame filling you, “you’ve been so good to me since we’ve been together. And I know we talked about taking it slow. Plus, I didn’t want you to think of me as anything other than what I’ve shown you I can be.”
“What do you mean?” Kiri asks softly. The compassion and kindness oozing from his crimson eyes makes you want to cry even more. You’ve never felt such tenderness.
“Bunny girls get a bad rep to begin with,” you explain. “We’re looked at as hyper, needy, cum-hungry people who need to fuck or we’ll die. That’s why all of my relationships have always crashed and burned because the dudes I was seeing didn’t see me as anything other than that.” You take Kiri and Bakugou’s hands into yours, looking into their eyes. “I-I wanted it to be different with us.”
You watch with anxiety twirling in your gut as your confession processes across their faces. Kiri looks wounded, the hurt in his eyes for you palpable. “Fuck, babe,” he murmurs, squeezing your hand. “I’m sorry. I didn’t know you felt that badly about it.”
But Bakugou is less than gentle in his approach. “You’re fuckin’stupid, you know that?” he growls, an irked expression on his pretty face. “We don’t think of you as that at all! The fact you’d even assume that pisses me off.”
You flush with shame under his scrutiny. “Wait a minute, Katsuki,” Kiri cuts in, trying to be the peacemaker, but Bakugou is too pissed to listen. He pins you to your spot with his heated, laser-like stare. “If we saw you as a slut, we wouldn’t have been pursuing you all that time before we told you how we felt. We wouldn’t have made friends with you to get to know you first. We would’ve fucked you from the jump, but we didn’t ‘cause we wanted more too, dumbass.”
Though his words still make you feel dumb, you also feel a burst of confidence knowing such sexy guys pined for you the way you did for them too. “Katsuki’s right, babe,” Kiri says, grinning supportively at you. “We’ve always wanted to show you the utmost care and respect; that includes handling this. If it’s bothering you, let us fix it.”
You scowl in confusion. Fix it? “How long does this shit usually last?” Bakugou asks. You stare between the both of them, still confused. “Well, it’s worse during the first week of spring since it’s the first phase, but over time as the season goes on, it starts to fade. When summer hits, it’s done.”
“So what happens if you don’t relieve yourself?” Kiri asks, looking scared to ask. You’re embarrassed to answer. You shift on the blanket, clearing your throat. “I’m uncomfortably horny. Usually, relieving myself works, but as I’ve gotten older, my urges have gotten more intense. That’s why I tended to go for hookups until I met y’all two.”
“I guessin’ those hookups only did so much for you,” Kiri chuckles. “Well, lucky for you, you’ve got somethin’ not just for one night here, baby.” He sits up on his knees as does Bakugou, so they’re both towering over you. The devious looks in their eyes are all you need to realize what the fuck is transpiring.
“So how can we help?” Kiri purrs.

ok @morporkian-cryptid tagged me to do this fic author interview so here we go...
if you would like to do this, i am officially tagging you, yes you, right now. tag me back so i can see your answers
1 How many works do you have on AO3?
i got 40
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
1,044,749
3. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
sorry like none of these are lupin iii. a blight on my lupin iii blog
Wabisabi (991 kudos) - Spirited Away. idk it's short and cute, read it
BONES OF BLACK MARROW (952 kudos) - Homestuck. the infamous cyoa cannibalism sex fic. scrolling through the things people say about it in the bookmarks is always so funny
Cum mortuis in lingua mortua (925 kudos) - Homestuck. no clue why it has so many kudos lol it was like the first long thing i've ever wrote (a whole decade ago??? jesus). it's a d&d/discworld joke
Vanitas vanitatum (914 kudos) - Homestuck. the same d&d/discworld joke except the LI is turbo depressed. notable for being the only fic i ever outlined and edited and that's why it whips
Supermassive Retinol Overdose! (677 kudos) - hey look, a lupin fic made it on here!
4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
i do when i have something meaningful to say besides "thank you!" i don't have a lot of thoughts about my own work so therefore i tend to not respond if there's not a direct question :( my head is empty. i always respond to every single comment on the last chapter of longfics though because i'm always impressed people read that far lol. genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading all that
5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?
idk uhhhh i wrote a series once where two of the main couples break up at the end, but it wasn't really angsty
6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?
they all end pretty happily
7. Do you write crossovers?
if i did it was so long ago i don't remember it
8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?
no but people used to send passive aggressive hate about my art in fics once in a while. hasn't happened in like 2+ years
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
yes. every kind. EVERY KIND
10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
a bot will sometimes scrape my high kudos homestuck fics and plant them on a junk ebook site
11. Have you ever had a fic translated?
yeah i think like 7 of them got translated into russian and do numbers on ficbook.net
12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
in the past me and my friend would sit around a laptop and scream laugh write our way through crack fics
13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?
right now it's jiglup and fujilup
14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?
i finish almost all my WIPs because i'm a freak. if i don't finish a WIP it's because some dramatic life event happened. this has only occurred two times
15. What are your writing strengths?
im a funny binch
16. What are your writing weaknesses?
i don't outline or edit or re-read any of my fanfic. i just type it and then eyeball it for typos and then post it. i COULD outline and such to really make the narrative nice and tight, but i don't find it very fun to do (for fanfic) and this is like, my relaxing wind down hobby. i just wanna have fun haha. the only reason my fics like, make sense, is because i write at least one ending scene first thing and always aim for that, and also i write out of order so i kinda know the route of the story
17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?
it's fine if it makes sense to do it there as a narrative device
18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?
h-hetalia crack fic.....

Note
I always get ticked off from people who keep trying to push for the monetization of AO3 because that's my favorite thing about the site, honestly. 1) No one here, i don't believe, said fanfic/fanart isn't real art. 2) Fan-made products are taken off of etsy all the time. Every single day this exact thing happens. Etsy shop owners get their shops taken off the site for this! exact! thing! 3) Japan has different copyright laws than in the USA, where AO3 is based. Doujinshi does get some creators in copyright trouble in Japan if they try to create new characters based on the pre-existing work. It happens fairly often. 4) Writers always improve the same way: they write often, read often, edit, repeat, over and over again. We expect writers to break into commercialization the same way the people before them have: you write a novel or a short story anthology, edit, rewrite (rinse repeat), send queries to agents, wait for agents to come back with good news from publishers, then market the hell out of your book along with the publisher (if the publisher has the money to do it). And if none of that is your thing, self-publish. You don't get to monetize your fellow fans' labor just because you're too lazy to figure out how to market your work to let people know it exists. It's easier than ever with the internet. And I wish entitled crybaby fans would get this through their heads: no👏🏽one👏🏽 has the right, or should have the right, to make money off of someone else's story, hard work, or imaginative work. If you're a writer, create something new and do the market research to figure out how to best market it. No one has the responsibility to fund your creative dreams but yourself. Why should anyone care to follow a writer of original works who's most known for writing derivatives of others' IP? Now that we're in the age of IP and copyright ownership of art, why does this need to constantly be repeated? AO3 is free and open for everyone to use. If you want to market yourself and your work, you'll have to do it somewhere else. The internet is vast. Stop being lazy and put in the work like other writers do. 🤷🏽‍♀️
--
Yeah. Fandom is where I honed my craft.
That's the great thing about fandom! People read so much kind of half-baked stuff and genuinely enjoy it. They wouldn't give that same leeway to commercial products. There's also more space for niche interests. That allows a writer to figure out what they actually like instead of just chasing the thing that someone else says sells best.
Lots of people who go pro, including me, write very fandomy stuff. You pick up almost any m/m self- or indie-pub book, and you know in five minutes this is a fic writer. But if we're any good, we can build enough scaffolding for our own worlds and characters. Change the names. Beef up your own setting. Write a complete plot that doesn't rely on being a missing scene from something else. It's not that complicated.
Frankly, if someone "needs" to sell fic, that makes me think they aren't confident in their writing being attractive to others without a major crutch.

~~~ I aim to please and consider all suggestions and requests via my ‘Ask Stuff’ button, so feel free to drop me an idea if you’d like to see anything specific in my writing or art, or if you have any thoughts you want to share~~~
List with links for my stories and art featuring Number Five (TUA)
-see summaries and detailed tags on individual stories once you click the links
⚠️THIS SHOULD GO WITHOUT SAYING: PLEASE DO NOT REPOST, TRANSLATE, OR REPODUCE MY WORKS IN ANY FORMAT TO OTHER SITES
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He Who Holds The Power~(rated Teen and Up or General) (10,409 words)(alt season 4 story with ending)(reader insert style that lets anyone be the 'you' character as long as you don't mind Five hitting on you 👍😂)(original Five cover art painting made by me and a little photoshop story insert to make it more fun)
This one is a little season 4 teaser short story I dreamed up that gives us a look inside Five's world both before he jumped to the apocalypse and post season 3.
~~~~~~~~It all begins and ends with Five....
warnings: mild description/mention of child abuse, and signs of panic attack, potential trigger by mention of bombing a building
tags: whump, fluff, trauma, heartbreak, love, revenge, forgiveness, Mr. Pennycrumb, all the Hargreeves and some of our new character mentions from season 4, Five deserves better, Klaus is awesome, You x Five, reader insert, Five is amazing and with this one you get to imagine yourself a part of his story/future 👍
Under Your Hat~ (rated M/Explicit for sexual content but you can still read this and enjoy it by skipping those parts using the ⚠️ symbol in the story for start and stop points.) (9827 words)
You never know what kind of trouble you might find if you put yourself out there and speak your mind, and tonight, that kind of trouble is Five Hargreeves.
~Set post season three. (the 5ish years later thing) Five is older, but still struggling with life and you happen to find yourself at a party with him.
Warnings: explicit sexual content, rough sex, spanking, daddy kink, humiliation play, and Five pretty much being the sweet and sexy guy I like to think he is under that hat.
'Hargreeves Home for Wayward Boys ~(rated G since you can easily skip the sexually explicit parts and still enjoy the story. There is a clear point to stop if you are avoiding that stuff 👍) (8711 words)
~Five is your employer and he's not happy with you. As the night unfolds, you have a very unexpected encounter with him...
~This story takes place where we left off with season three, but 5 years later. The name is a nod to hints of what might be coming, though I doubt the Netflix writers are going with my little storyline I have created for you.
~This one is sort of gift to all fanfiction readers and writers. May you always keep passwords on our documents and devices, or maybe not... 😂👌
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Free at Last' - a short, general rated, image based/comic book style story blip of Dolores and Five
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
‘Bad Things’
Five Hargreeves/Reader Insert (rated explicit for sexual content)(Dark and very messed up version of Five mixed with some ideas from the comic books)(see story for specific tags) (49,996 words)
Summary:
~Psychopathy is a neuropsychiatric disorder marked by deficient emotional responses, lack of empathy, the inability to distinguish between right and wrong, poor behavioral controls, and behaviors that contradict social norms which then commonly result in persistent antisocial deviance and criminal behavior. Enter, Five Hargreeves, everyone's favorite little psycho. Having been left in a new world with nothing, his mental state growing more and more dangerous, Five Hargreeves finds something he feels will keep him from going off the deep end, but just like in so many things he thinks that are wrong, the fact that he thinks this already proves he has.
Full Summary and Chapter One and Two
Chapter Three
Chapter Four
Chapter Five, Six, and Seven
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
‘The Anti Hero’s Pitfall of Arrogance’
Five Hargeeves/Female OC (rated explicit for sexual content-see AO3 version for the Teen and up version)(starts when the Hargreeves are sixteen so that changes the timeline from the show a bit, but it still follows cannon material fairly closely with those changed in mined)(see story for specific tags) (44,599 words)
Chapter One and Two
Chapter Three and Four
Chapter Five, Six, and Seven
AO3 Teen and up Version
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
‘In The Flesh’
Five Hargreeves/Reader Insert (rated G) (5337 words) (special request based off an extended scene from 'The Anti Hero’s Pitfall of Arrogance.’)(meant to be dark and very disturbing but with a heart filled message that is very Five.)
Link to 'In The Flesh’
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'The Devil Within’
Five Hargreeves/Reader Insert (rated explicit for sexual content) (This one is the smuttiest Five fiction I have ever written so there is no way to avoid those parts) (see story for specific tags but I leave many off to keep you surprised as you read) (23,134 words)
Chapter One and Two
Chapters Three and Four
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Paramour (The Umbrella Academy 3-part series)-Rated Teen because you can skip the many sexually explicit parts or potential triggers with chapter warnings and detailed end notes for what you missed in those parts.
-If you love Five and long rollercoaster ride stories that you can get lost in than this is a great read for you.
Five’s POV and centered on him, but it has all the Hargreeves and Female OC love interest, stays very true to cannon themes and for Character’s personalities.
- See specific tags per-story on A03
Do you have any good kol fic recommendations on Wattpad, ao3, or tumblr? I love you’re stuff and I’ve found a few other good authors on each site but I was wondering if other people had other I haven’t heard of yet :)
Tumblr media
I'VE WAITED YEARS FOR THIS MOMENT!
Yes, my lovely, I gottchu!
Royal Game on Wattpad is nothing short of addicting and the plot twist will THROW you. Don't get discouraged by the doppelganger trope, this story will not go the way you think!
AO3 is full of fun stuff, but personally I recommend:
The Artist by Britishmenorbust - Kol is so cute in this fic, you just might die.
Scarborough Fair by bansheehime - the OC in this one is so, so much fun and she takes absolutely none of Kol's crap. I love it.
Even if it Kills You by Atlabeth - This one is a poly fic but not only does the author actually do Kol justice, but her portrayal of our beloved wildest Mikaelson is actually more in-character than the way he was written on TV. Probably the best writing of Kol I've ever read and that's saying a lot. Not to mention the MC actually has 2 braincells to rub together so that's always a plus. Anyway, I could go on and on about this one. Amazing fic.
The Fox's Witch by Rivehn - It's hot. It's very hot. 😏
As for Tumblr, this place is LOADED! But my personal favorite Kol fics - short and long - belong to (and I list these names in no particular order, so don't get jealous besties): @heartbreakgrill @her-violent-delights @yn-ymn-yln and @dizzydancingdreamer all of their works are simply *chef's kiss* 😘
Hope this helps, and thanks for your interest in my works.
Comments: thoughts, types, how-tos, and etiquette (part 1 of 4)
I did a thing again! It's overly long. Who could've thought?
Commenting, or reviewing, is one of the backbones of fanfiction. It’s an integral part of any writing community. Writers and readers can grow and have fun helping each other.
This epic is going to be different from the Tips and Tricks one. There won’t be just bullet points on how to do X. I have thoughts on the matter, and I’m going to discuss them. I can’t possibly cover every topic ever, it’s a broad subject, so I might’ve missed your question.
While the technical info is precise, suggestions come from my experience. You don’t have to agree with me, everything is up for debate. Just keep it civil.
This is better read sequentially, but you can skip to any section. They are as numbered:
1) The basics
2) Thoughts on comment culture
3) Types of comments
4) Writing cohesive and coherent comments
5) Etiquette
6) Technical questions
7) Short-answer questions
8) Long-answer questions
Part 1: Sections 1 and 2 (you are here).
Part 2: Sections 3 and 4.
Part 3: Sections 5 and 6.
Part 4: Sections 7 and 8.
PDF version here, containing the whole thing. It has a table of contents and cute formatting.
♥ 1: The basics ♥
1.1 What is a comment anyway?
Feedback are “messages sent to the creators of fanworks in response to their works” (from Fanlore). I’m going to refer to it as “comments” like on Archive Of Our Own and Wattpad. They’re “reviews” on Fanfiction.net. There might be other names in other sites.
Commenting is usually a verbal expression of thoughts/feelings. It takes practice to be good at them. I don’t mean there are “rules”, but it can be easier, almost effortless. Like in regular writing, there are patterns to commenting, and guidelines left by people who were here before you are. You don’t have to start from square one.
Note that “comment” is a neutral word. It doesn’t mean “praise”, “criticism”, “hate”, or “invitation to chat”. It’s a message, and what you make of that message is up to you.
1.2 How to leave/reply to a comment on…
This subsection covers the Big Three™ fic sites: Archive Of Our Own, Fanfiction.net, and Wattpad. There might be perks I don’t know on other sites, like Quotev or RoyalRoad.
1.2.1 Archive Of Our Own (AO3)
You do not need an account to comment unless the fic is restricted to registered users or guest comments are disabled. The author can delete comments on their fic. If the author has turned off all comments, you cannot comment. If comment moderation is on, your comment will show up if they approve it.
The comment box appears below, near the end of the fic/chapter.
Tumblr media
Type the comment and press “Comment”.
1.2.2 Fanfiction.net (FFN)
You do not need an account to comment on FFN. The author cannot:
lock the fic only for registered users;
disable guest comments;
moderate comments before they appear;
turn off comments entirely.
They cannot delete comments from registered users, but can delete guest comments.
The comment box appears below, near the end of the fic/chapter.
Tumblr media
Type the comment and press “Post Review as [user/guest]”.
If you check the boxes on the bottom left, you’ll mark the story/author as favorite, or follow the story/author, when you comment. That only works if you’re logged in.
1.2.3 Wattpad
You need a verified account to comment on Wattpad. You cannot leave comments without an account, or without verifying the email address linked to your account. The author can delete comments on their fic.
There are two types of comments on Wattpad: regular comments, displayed at the end of a story part (like at the end of a chapter), and inline comments, displayed beside the text of the story (paragraph by paragraph).
The author cannot:
lock the fic only for registered users;
moderate comments before they appear;
turn off comments entirely, but they can turn off inline comments.
This is the speech bubble for inline comments:
Tumblr media
Click on it to open the comment box. It appears as below. Forgive me for the UI not in English, I have tried.
Tumblr media
The regular comments box (below) is near the end of the fic/chapter.
Tumblr media
Type the comment in the desired box (inline/regular, doesn’t matter) and press “Post”.
1.3 Other ways to leave and receive comments
Comment sections are not the only way to leave/receive comments. Examples are:
emailing if the author has left a contact email;
sending an ask on Tumblr, if they have linked their account;
reblogging the fic on Tumblr, if you add your comment to the post/tags;
private messaging, if the host site has them as FFN does;
private messaging part 2, if the author has linked their social media.
♥ 2: Thoughts on comment culture ♥
2.1 Insights on the alleged “death of comment culture”
Subsection 2.1 will apparently go off-topic for a while, and contains a few ironic paragraphs. Proceed with caution.
Oh, the good old days. A distant past when readers would always R&R (read and review). Finished a chapter? A comment ensued, “can’t wait for the next one”. Finished a fic? A detailed, considerate analysis of plot points. People fearlessly shared their thoughts instead of clicking a “like” button. Likes can be so “empty”. Readers recommended fic to friends and group members. There were even rec lists! Awesome times to be a ficwriter, right?
Was there such a thing as “the golden years of feedback”, or are we just nostalgic?
From Fanlore:
Since the beginning of fannish time, fans have complained about the lack of feedback for their fiction and art. Letters of Comment in print zines in the 1970s and 80s, posts on USENET in the 1990s and early 2000s, online journal comments later—all are filled with complaints about a universal lack of feedback. One common refrain: “People used to be better about leaving feedback than they are now.” (source)
Even so, there is a shared perception among ficwriters from the 1990s and 2000s: people used to comment a lot more. And I do agree. I feel like feedback used to be more frequent. My writing was nowhere near good in 2010 or so, but my fics from that time had 10+ comments, even genfic one-shots in tiny fandoms. I posted exclusively on the local fic archive, in Portuguese. Wild guess? Zero percent of them spoke English as a first language. There were Brazilians like me, a handful of Portuguese people, and the occasional Angolan.
More than a decade has passed. I’m a much better writer. I translated and tweaked the same genfic one-shot to English, from the same tiny fandom, for 8 kudos on AO3 and zero comments. Having a favorite/kudos button, imitating the “like” button trend on social media, leaving people too comfortable, or even lazy. They don’t need to show love with words. It’s too much trouble. Little by little, they’ll quit commenting forever.
Where have I read a similar thing before?
Plato criticized this spread of written language as an impediment to wisdom. He said that writing is only a semblance of truth and that people will seem to know something when in fact they will know nothing. He complained that writing things down would eliminate the need for memory. Socrates, too, had decried the written word, and had said that one can ask questions of or argue with a speaker, but the written word may not be understood and may be interpreted falsely—a precursor of today's complaints about the lack of face-to-face communication. (source)
If ficwriters were never satisfied with the feedback they got, and “X technology will make the naive populace dumber” is as old as time, who’s to blame for the death of comment culture? Did it even exist one day? Did it really die?
It all boils down to context. Let’s consider a few things:
Excessive hours online are messing with our attention span, and reading requires concentration. Also, in 2001 (20+ years ago!), more than half of employed US people, 25 and over, already used computers at work. Not everyone has the brainpower and/or the attention span to stare at a screen all day and read fics later on another screen.
Most socialization now occurs on social media, which have algorithms behind them. In layman’s terms, a social media algorithm is a set of instructions for a website. It tells the website to prioritize and push 1) sponsored content (that someone paid to promote) and 2) high-engagement content (creating more user data, to show users accurate ads hoping they’ll buy stuff). In summary, whatever makes corporations profit. In algorithm-based websites and apps, “likes” will boost a post for more users; the algorithm sees it as engagement-worthy. FFN and AO3, on the other hand, have no algorithm. Some people don’t know about it and might think a simple favorite/kudos will “boost” the fic to more people.
Check these graphs for a percentage of US households (1984 to 2010) with a computer. Those are not numbers for households with an internet connection, but at least a few of them had it. Computers were pricey. Phones didn’t do much more than call, texting, and the Snake mini-game. Thing is, the internet was a smaller, more tight-knit community, even in the dawn of online fandom. Also, fandom people online were not only fans of pieces of media: there was an overlap with computer nerds, both ostracized groups. They searched for friends online with common interests and found them. It’s a lot easier to speak your mind to someone closer than an anonymous ficwriter you’ll never chat with.
Have you ever heard of sanitizing the internet? In case you didn’t, you probably should have. Long story short, corporations work for profit, and some of it comes from advertisers. Advertisers have requirements. A frequent one is “we do not want to associate with sites hosting Not Safe For Work (NSFW) content”. To sign a contract, social media corporations ban NSFW content and promise to delete it on sight. The problem is: lots of users are posting loads of things every second. Humans couldn’t possibly check all posts. Algorithms do the job via image recognition and such. If an image/video looks like it breaks the rules, it’ll be taken down. Those algorithms also scan keywords indicating animosity or hate speech. Social media users, especially the ones who couldn’t know the internet before social media, are used to the internet being “safer” now. They relaxed about it. When they stumble upon NSFW, unpleasant things, or just things they dislike or disagree with, they’re not used to seeing it. Their reaction is, oftentimes, disproportional.
What does the above topic have to do with the rest? Let’s do the math. First, you add lots and lots of users to the internet, to the point it’s not a small, intimate community anymore. Second, you “protect” those people from encountering unsettling content so easily, making them prone to lash out at the first sight of it. Third, you teach them all it takes to show appreciation, and make more people view “quality content” on their feed, is clicking a “like” button. The result: both readers and authors have never seen each other online, may or may not be sensitive to poorly worded sentences, may or may not react disproportionately to those sentences, and you have a “like” button right there. As a reader, clicking the button to show your love sounds a lot more fail-proof, and the fic goes commentless.
The fic I mentioned earlier? I used to be mildly relevant as a beta reader and blog writer on the local fic archive. That’s probably where my exposure came from. Being a recognizable face matters. The fandom? Nightwish. They were already big with metal fans and became a mainstream hit in 2004 with the single Nemo. It defied the looming decline of metal as a “genre of the youth, played on the radio” in the following years. I posted that fic in 2012 (already eight years after Nemo), and even if Nightwish was still decently popular, I posted the translated fic on AO3 in 2020 (sixteen years after Nemo), after said decline happened. It just wasn’t a thing anymore, like all trends and fads die out.
What do I conclude from all that? Things aren’t always what they seem to be, and there is more to it than readers being “lazy”. Note that those nuances do not apply to all cases of not getting comments on fics. They just help to paint the picture.
On a last note, I do think comment culture was greater in the 2000s, and probably was in the 1990s as well. People recognized each other a lot more in fandom and were all for how easy it was to comment on the internet. Mailing letters to fanzines, for example, was a bit of a hassle. So, in my eyes, there was a period of 10–20 years in which they commented more often.
Fighting against the 2020s state of the internet is kind of a losing game, but you can change how you interact with fandom, and influence people around you.
2.2 Why should you even comment on fics?
Readers don’t owe comments to anyone. The same goes for authors: they don’t owe you content. Their fics are not written for you. They are shared with you. And it’s fine! It should be a stress-free relationship where no one owes anyone anything, but add the human factor, and it all gets complicated. You’re not forced to comment, ever, and shouldn’t feel forced either, but it’s not my point.
Here are a few reasons to encourage readers to leave comments more often, even if you’re shy, feel like you have nothing to say, or don’t know how to say what you think:
It feels more personal than getting kudos. Someone took their time to write a message (of whatever length). Day = better!
It creates a sense of community. Writing can be a terribly lonely hobby. Most people don’t have beta readers or even friends in the same fandom. I myself was a lonely writer in a few fandoms for a while. While it made me find happiness in the act of creation, I love when someone gives me insights I didn’t have. It’s expanding on the microcosm I created. It likely wouldn’t happen if a reader disliked my fic, so I see it as praise.
An author might pick up an abandoned work again. Not saying it’s guaranteed, but I’ve heard of it before. People put fics on hiatus for various reasons, and one of them is struggling with low confidence. Ficwriters are people, they feel insecure at times.
It hones your critical thinking, feedback, and argumentation skills. If you write medium or long comments with in-depth analysis and impressions, it’s a zero cents writing exercise. Plus, much more fun than schoolwork.
You might become friends with the author, or with other readers. It depends on all parties agreeing to it, and there might be a shade of “never meet your heroes” to this. However, as ficwriters are people, some are nice folks.
Authors who ask for constructive criticism will thank you forever. While the current fandom culture doesn’t favor concrit a lot, some people are still open and eager for it. Yes, you can give concrit even if you don’t write fic yourself. You need knowledge, structure, and politeness, nothing more, nothing else.
Sharing your love and appreciation is enough of a reason. It doesn’t have to be perfect. There are no standards, metrics, or school grades.
2.3 What if you don’t want to leave a comment at the time?
Sometimes, you’ve downloaded the fic for your e-reader. Others, it’s four in the morning and all you want to do after a 100k binge read is sleep. Possibly, the author looks too intimidating, and you have no idea how they’ll respond. Perhaps, something else? It’s normal, we’ve all been there. Here are a few alternatives:
Favorite/kudos the fic. Return later if you want to comment, it’ll be in your history.
Create a reading list somewhere, write a memo to comment on another time. Google Keep is good for that. Some people even make spreadsheets for fics they’ve read.
Bookmark it with a note. Write “leave a comment later”, return if you want.
Type the comment somewhere else, save it, send later. It can be anywhere from an email to yourself to a note on your phone, your friend’s inbox, your notebook… anything.
2.4 What if you never, ever want to comment on fics?
It was said before, and I’ll say it again: readers don’t owe writers comments. You don’t have to apologize or justify yourself. If you want to show your love in other ways, they exist.
Favorite/kudos the fic.
Bookmark it, with or without notes. Make a bookmark into a recommendation by checking a box, if you want.
Create a rec list. You can post rec lists on social media, for example. You don’t even have to explain why you liked it. That was how we did it before algorithms took over.
Share it with friends/acquaintances. Maybe you have a shared taste?
Be open to changing your mind in the future. Don’t be strict on the “I never leave comments” stance. There are many arguments favoring comments and very few against them.
Part 2 // Part 3 // Part 4 are waiting for you.
Note
Hi Jo! Congrats on passing your exam and thank you for sharing positivity with your Happy Hour asks!
A positive thing that happened to me this week was that beautiful note my wonder twin, @goodwithcheese sent in. She’s so awesome - I just love her!💜 Following her example, and because I want to help spread the joy, I wanted to give a big shoutout to her and a few other beautiful souls I’ve been fortunate enough to connect with in my short time here. (I’ll combine them so I don’t bombard your inbox with asks) 😁
In addition to all of the following being amazing writers of some of my all-time favorite fics, I would consider myself lucky to also call them friends. I’m still amazed at how much we can connect with people we’ve never met, and how many lovely people I’ve met on this site and in this fandom… we totally rock.
@goodwithcheese - Your posts and messages always make me smile and I am in awe of your writing skills. It is truly uncanny how many things we have in common - but I can’t think of a nicer person to have for my twin. The universe apparently knew there was too much awesomeness to fit into one person, so it just decided to make two of us. 😜
@kteague - You know I’m a fan of the stories you write, but more importantly, your lovely personality and beautiful replies made me a fan of you. I love seeing your interactions on my dash and always enjoy hearing from you. You did good, K. 😜
@firstofficerwiggles - I first discovered your Boba Fett & Mandalorian stories on AO3 (which are still some of my favorites) and you were the first person I was brave enough to compliment in a message on this site. Since then, you have helped me with so many of my questions about this platform and always humor me when I send you my random ramblings in your inbox. Thanks to your positive replies, I found the courage to unleash reblogs, comments, and asks on several other lovely people! ☺️
@katareyoudrilling - I haven’t known you very long, but I just love your “year of asks” and all the ‘game’ tags you send me. I know I don’t always get a response out very quickly, but I greatly appreciate you thinking of me!
There are others I could call out, but I don’t mean to take up your whole happy hour with one ask. (I’m going to hear music start anytime now as my hint to shut up and get off the stage…) 😬 I will just close with how much I do greatly appreciate all the people I have connected with here - and I’m sending you all a big hug!! 🫂 It doesn’t surprise me that an actor who seems to be one of the nicest people on the planet has some of the nicest people as his fans….thank goodness for all the amazing people in the Pedro fandom. And thank you for letting me be part of your positivity #happyhour!
thank you so much for the congrats, and I’m glad you liked this idea! and I love this, 🥹 this is so sweet and so considerate, what a lovely message this is! I’m not gonna add anymore to it, I think your kindness speaks for itself 🩷✨ (thank you for sending this in)
jo’s happy hour… continued
Nomi J. - writeblr intro
Hello everyone! My name is Nomi J. (any pronouns) and I am an adult fiction and 18+ erotica writer. My narratives center around queer characters and experiences and are typically magical realism or high fantasy. I'm always happy to chat with people about writing, so don't be shy about messaging me or sending asks if the mood strikes you. I'm a Tumblr veteran of at least eight years (so I've seen it all, no really.) I've been writing for many years, but have only recently had the courage to put my work out into the world. Romance is my whole jam, and it will be the primary focus of my blog.
A note: Please steer clear if you are under the age of 18. My work is for adults only. I will block minors. You have been warned.
A bit about me...
I am in my mid twenties and definitively queer/genderqueer. I have ADHD and I will occasionally post ADHD content that relates to writing. I do not engage in discourse of any kind, as I prefer to respectfully listen to the experiences of others.
My favorite book (of all time): The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov
I'm currently enjoying: Mo Dao Zu Shi (The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation) by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu
Other interests/skills of mine include art, guitar, harp, video games (particularly The Elder Scrolls and Dragon Age), and anything that involves mermaids.
Current WIPs (as posted on my blog)
Lunar Lagoon (I update when I have time for writing.)
Lunar Lagoon is a series of lesbian vignettes that started as erotica and has moved towards long form erotic romance. The main characters are Lyria and Amelia, who are drawn to each other through the sparks of both pleasure and genuine romance. This is a fast paced, supernatural romance with mermaids, lgbt themes, and an ambiguous modern setting in the Mediterranean. The narrative deals with trust, control and freedom, and autonomy in love and relationships.
Lunar Lagoon Masterpost
Crossroads (Stays in my google docs until I publish it.)
Hazel Abernathy, a witch with financial struggles, gets stood up on Valentine's Day at the swankiest club in her city. She meets two demons, Lillian and Aleksander, who give her a night to remember and a promise to continue the fun. Days later, Hazel strikes gold with an anonymous client who is willing to pay mountains of cash for a secretive issue. When she meets the client for the first time, she finds that she knows the client far more intimately than she could have anticipated. This is a spicy supernatural romance set in modern America. The relationship is a m/f/f throuple and the narrative deals with themes of grief, loss, and unconditional love.
Short Stories
Wear a Coat (link here)
A horror short story set in the Appalachian mountains, where I come from. What happens when you don’t follow your mama’s advice and go looking for berries without a coat? Maybe you’ll just get cold or maybe you’ll attract unwanted attention from something dwelling deep within the forest…
Additionally…
I write because I am passionate about it. At the end of the day, my writing is for myself, and any enjoyment that others derive from it is a lovely bonus. I do not take unsolicited constructive criticism, especially on matters of taste. All original posts on this blog are my intellectual property, and I do not give permission to repupload or cross post on any other sites.
