Shoutout to ‘ugly’ trans women who feel discouraged from transitioning because most leftists only care about and support trans women when they look conventionally attractive and easy to fetishise.
Shoutout to ‘ugly’ trans women who are afraid to transition because they feel like they’re ‘not attractive enough’ to be a woman.
You are not ‘failing’ at womanhood, or being trans, because you don’t fit into conventional beauty standards. You are not ‘failing’ womanhood because you don’t look as attractive as some other trans women, and you are not ‘lesser’ than them.
Because unfortunately womanhood is directly associated with this idea that you exist to be consumed by others, that you exist to be palatable. Performing femininity can be a chore, an expensive one, that is quite inaccessible and difficult to achieve.
Expecting trans women to hyper-perform their gender roles flawlessly to be accepted is just blatant transphobia and misogyny. It’s everywhere.
So. Shoutout to ‘ugly’ trans women. I hope that one day, you will find the confidence to live happily and authentically, regardless of what cis people think. Their support should not hinge on how ‘attractive’ or ‘fuckable’ you are. We all deserve liberation.

trans people are so fucking cool, all trans people are literally so fucking epic
Trans women? You ladies are killing it, i hope you all have a happy pride
Trans men? you dudes are also killing it, I hope you all have a happy pride
Non-binary folks? Keep up the good work, you’re doing great, I hope you all have a happy pride
Xenogender folks? Absolutely stunning, I hope you all have a happy pride
Genderfuild ppl? Drinks your gender cuz you’re so fucking cool, I hope you all have a happy pride
Agender people? Incredibly powerful, just got rid of the gender, have the happiest pride ever
GNC trans people? Your gender expression is so radical, 10/10, hope you have a happy pride
Any other identity that falls under the trans umbrella? Happy pride, you’re doing amazing.
I love being trans and I love trans people, I know times are tough right now, but coming together as a community is the best thing we can do. Fight for queer liberation, fight for trans liberation, support other marginalized communities, we are all worth fighting for.
Happy pride🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Indicators that I'm on my period:
Hit post limit after being awake less than ten hours two days in a row
Interpersonal problem exists: I can solve this with cannabilism
Out of bed? Hell no. Sleepy hours are ALL hours
Censored
I need to cuddle 😭😭😭
Loafing around and only stirring to motion to eat salmon
Suddenly write a solid chunk of a novel (there are five chapters of a lesbian time dilation soft scifi novel with themes referencing the broken nature of the US medical system, the waitlists for transition care, and the practice of medical tourism in search of something better than what we have here. There were no chapters for that book this morning, or even the barest hint of an idea. I have important shit to do tomorrow and I'm scheduling a post on tumblr about this freaking book and-)
Feel better after showering and shaving but still feeling miserable
Why do I feel so bad? Has not imbibed any liquid in 14 hours
My tummy :(
Crying about everything
Emotions. Why are there so many. Where did they come from? HOw diD THEY get HerE!!?!?
My back aches
Oweewwowoowowowowowwwwwww my boobs
Given how weird my biology is the most reliable indicators are actually the first two.
This is WEIRD. But good. Good weird. Trans joy and bliss and staying in bed until my tummy stops hurting :3

I think I realized the thing that makes me ok with the reddit migration as compared to the twitter migration.
Twitter and Reddit (the sites) are so fucking hostile towards trans women. Elon is now actively paying his cronies to post transmisoginy and Reddit was basically known as 4chan lite. Like I remember when r/anime had an entire meltdown because they mods banned the word tr*p.
But the thing is. The people who are responsible for making reddits reputation known as 4chan lite aren't the ones coming here. They're migrating to Twitter, or 4chan, or wherever their bigoted views can be coddled and platform. They're aren't going to be caught dead becoming what they would call a "tumblrina".
We knew the twitter migrators were assholes because we already knew them. They were the ones cycling endless discourse before they migrated to Twitter over the porn ban and brought all of their toxic shit with them. The ones vocal about the twitter to Tumblr migration were ex-tumblr to Twitter migrators going "hey we made a mistake. This place sux. Take us back please 🥺"
But with reddit we are getting the influx of the people who actually made reddit palatable. I'm personally excited for the new wave of reddit tgirls joining. The community that I've been told by Transandrophobia theorists dominated reddit and was apparently larger than the tumblr trans girl community. Legit before this whole thing happened I've seen them saying we(trans women) should move to reddit if we want to have a voice and a sense of community instead of asking Tumblr TME's told tone it down on the trans misogyny.
So yeah I welcome the new reddit wave and hope it makes Tumblr less of a TME dominated space

shoutout to trans gals who don’t like dresses or clothing that is typically considered “feminine”. trans ladies who don’t like jewelry, makeup, or other things more commonly associated with femininity. femininity can be cultural for people, and there is absolutely joy that can be found in cultural performance of femininity, but that is not what makes you a girl/woman. your identity is not defined by arbitrary gender standards.
if you think that you have to like feminine things to fit in or belong with other cis women, i respect that fear, but i want you to know that so, so many cis women don’t love those feminine things either! growing up, all my friends were cis girls, and not one of us wore makeup or dressed up super fancy very often. you are not any less of a girl for not loving traditionally feminine things- you don’t have to prove your womanhood by trying to ascribe to arbitrary femininity. you are enough. you are beautiful just as you are.
the way media portrays and represents femininity, is not an accurate representation of the true diversity of experiences, even among cis women. so many cis women wear more masculine things, don’t love makeup, and i’ve seen a lot of cis women talk about how they feel isolated from womanhood and depictions of it because they don’t wear makeup much, if at all, or jewelry or dresses.
my point is, womanhood is SUCH a diverse experience. women, cis and trans alike, can be masculine, feminine, both, fluid between them, or neither, and that’s all part of what womanhood can be. you are not betraying womanhood by not being hyperfeminine- and your experience is not unique to trans women. your pain and fear is something you can share with cis women- there is solidarity to be found in it, not separation. all women bring a piece of that diversity to the table, so hold your head high because you are WONDERFUL just as you are.
i, as a cis girl, have so much respect for trans women who don’t conform to femininity the way transmisogynistic expectations want them to. you may think your struggle with this isolates you from cis women, but it does the exact opposite. you are not alone. you are beautiful.
