~He (Virgil) does donate many of his old pair of shoes towards the people who needed them more than him ever since he remember in his high school days he used to have several different pair of shoes (Especially when it comes to a pair of Jordans as well as a pair of sneakers--he does have a collection of them.); as he got older, he loves to donate the unused pair of shoes to the people in need.

~When Cassie met Virgil in Hawaii; she notices how he had changed his appearance on how he change his hairstyle as well as how he became more muscular and athletic than how he used to be when he is younger. (You can think of how when they first met each other back then; Virgil used to have the look from the second season of the Young Justice and then by the time when the both of them are in Hawaii; you can think of how Virgil had changed his look to the same look from the third season of Young Justice during the time off before he departs from his home to the University of Hawaii.)

~Cassie remembers the first time when she had a conversation between her and Virgil: she did told V about how her ex Tim Drake had been seeing somebody else when he is studying at U Conn (A.k.a the University of Connecticut) as they went on their first date at a restaurant called Cheeseburger in Paradise at Waikiki, he nods and listens to her quietly as she spoke to him about how she is truthfully surprised to see how the guy whom she used to have a crush on is dating somebody else yet he didn't told her about who is he dating (Obviously; we know Tim is interacting with Stephanie Brown); he felt a mental weight of heavy weighting over his pair of shoulders as he felt as he did want to let Cassie know that she does deserves at just about anybody and after that; the both of them went on numerous dates at many different locations at both Honolulu and Waikiki as well as at the outskirts of Honolulu and Waikiki.

~One of Virgil's favorite date is when he is playing basketball for the University of Hawaii Men's Basketball Team, he remembers how Cassie did went to his game with a sign where she holds up a hand made sign which says "Go Virgil!"; he couldn't help but having a warm and genuine smile on his face despite how the UH Men's Basketball team lost to the Cal Poly Mustangs Men's Basketball team.

~One of Cassie's favorite date with Virgil is when they went to Cheeseburgers in Paradise for their very first and actual date; they both spoke to each other about something they wanted to spoke to each other however they wanted to wait until they have the "Right time" To share with each other about getting to know the "Other side" of them as they had waited for some period of time until when they decided to talk about it on their very first date between each other. (*This is where Virgil also spoke about his ex Freida Goren whom he and she ended up becoming 'Best friends' since their childhood days; although he wanted to have a relationship with Freida however Freida wanted to remain their friendship as the both of them went to the same elementary school, middle school and high school throughout their years however the both of them decided to go in their ways while remaining their friendship between each other. Plus they also spoke about several different things however I am going to do an actual full-length fan fiction whenever I am feeling truthfully creative to be honest.)

~One of their favorite dates is when they are at Kailua--they are at the Kailua Beach Park; they have a picnic with each other as they both enjoyed a container of *poke (*Poke is a Hawaiian Dish) and having a bottle of sparkling water plus having a box of Malasadas from Leonard's as a box of desert on their date at Kailua beach.

Hehehe static shock brainrot go brrrr. I have waaay more thpughts about this than i thought, so this'll be part one! Most of it it setup, I'll star ☆ where the fluffy headcanons start! Also, trigger warning for the discussion of death.

Virgil regresses first because. You know. trauma.

I think he's been inclined to regress his whole life but it started to happen involuntarily after his mom passed away, especially late at night after he had dreams about her.

He didn't really know what it was until his dad brought it up in relation to one of the teens he was working with. He mentioned o Virgil they needed to be handled with care because they regress involuntarily due to trauma, and Virgil was like Whoops I Do That

He still didn't tell his dad, at first he felt really embarrassed about it. He tried as hard as he could to repress and avoid it, but it would come back stronger

After spending more time around the kid, he got used to it and decided maybe it wasn't so bad.

So he at least didn't try to fight it any more, now that he knew what it was. He wasn't super active about it though. It only happened at night, so the most he'd do about it was sleep with his favorite beanie baby dog, Pluto, or maybe ask to sleep in his dad's room if he felt really bad.

The first time it happened during the day was at the beginning of high school, when Francis started to bully him. Francis was a really intense bully, and Virgil had never been beat up before. He had a went back home and just couldn't stop crying, he felt so scared.

That's when Richie came in

It wasn't out of the ordinary for Richie to just go up to Virgil's room whenever he felt like it, they were just like that. It was especially expected when Virgil didn't meet up with him after school as usually.

When he got in Virgil was curled up around his dog plush, crying a lot. He had been beat up pretty bad and everything hurt.

Richie rushed to help him, getting him first aid and ice packs and trying to calm him down. It did work a little, though he was still crying, he felt a little better with Richie there

Until he realized... Richie was there

This was not something he intended to share with anyone, not even Richie. What would he think? That he's a total weirdo? Who would wanna hang around a teenager who still acts like a toddler? Counterintuitively, the thought only made him cry more.

Richie didn't notice anything weird, not the crying, not even Pluto, I mean, who wouldn't want to curl up and cry after getting roughed up?

After Virgil calmed down enough, Richie went to go tell Mr. Hawkins. Virgil wasn't opposed, his dad always made him feel safe.

After Mr. Hawkins helped Virgil, he pulled Richie aside to explain why Virgil was so scared.

Virgil tried to interject, that this wasn't Richie's problem, but Richie wanted to know. All he wanted to do was help his best friend, he didn't care what the circumstance was. Plus, Mr. Hawkins insisted it was a trauma response, nothing to be ashamed of.

Richie took the news really well. He reassured Virgil he didn't think any less of him and they were best friends no matter what.

Richie was actually the one who brought up they may be able to turn it into a fun thing. If you feel like a kid, why not act like a kid? There's tons of fun stuff they got 'too old for' to dig up.

☆ Rich really stepped up to help Virgil feel better about regression. He took him to the arcade, the museum, the aquarium - anything to make Virgil smile.

Virgil goes from 3-8 age wise

He looooves video games. He's usually pretty good at them, but he gets a little clumsy when regressed. Richie let's him win on purpose and helps him with all the tough levels

Virgil also loves tinkering! Any kind of building toys, he's all over it - especially legos. He can build so much cool stuff with legos, he's one of those guys who has shelves dedicated to his Lego creations.

Just generally, the Hawkins have a treasure trove of 90s/early 2000s nostalgia. Nerf guns, bayblades, whatever pogs are, they even have an easy bake oven.

Virgil’s dad is very supportive, and very happy Richie is so keen to take care of him. He always makes time for Virgil when he needs him.

Virgil loves to watch cartoons, Richie loves them too. They go crazy for Spongebob

Sharon doesn't fully understand what's going on with Virgil, but she doesn't mind going big sister mode sometimes. He's always her baby brother, after all.

Happy March of the OCs Part 2!

okay, so I don't really write with OCs very often, but I do like thinking about side characters and giving them random backstories and families and things :) So here's some more sims posting, this time with all the characters I've pulled out to pad up the world!

Sara Cavanaugh

Sara is Kat Cavanaugh's sister, and they love each other a lot but cannot stand to be together for longer than approximately four hours. Kat thinks Sara is materialistic and vain, Sara thinks Kat is pig-headed and selfish. They're both right and they're both wrong, as often is the case when it comes to people. Sara does appreciate material things and takes pride in her appearance, and she can be quick to judge based on appearances, but she also works hard for very little thanks and cares very deeply about her community.

Eleanor Rigby

Eleanor is about eight years old, and she's Captain Wayne Rigby's daughter. I picture him as a single dad, and someone he worries about a lot and that a lot of his grouch with Kayo was misdirected anxiety about having to constantly leave Eleanor behind while he was working overtime. Eleanor's super resilient though, and mostly saw bouncing around her friends' homes as a bit of an adventure. She love love loves the outdoors and is a huge 'Into the Unknown' fan. Her biggest dream at the moment is to become a vet at a zoo.

Aidan Hawkins and Theo Hawkins-McCready

I imagine by the time Virgil meets Cass, she's a single mum with two very rambunctious sons, but for my sims save, I'm playing a little further back in the story haha, so meet her fiance, Aidan, and eldest son, Theo. Aidan is a very romantic and outgoing person but it's paired with intense insecurities and poor communication that creates a very tumultuous relationship for Cass. They both love each other, and Cass gets swept up in his grand gestures, but they struggle a lot with co-dependency and trust issues. Cass sacrifices a lot for Aidan at the expense of her career and eventually they split. Theo right now is just super cute lol <3 He's about three or four when Cass meets Virgil, and his younger brother Jordan (not pictured) is two.

Lesley Hoffman, Franklin Hoffman-Casey and Dante Hoffman-Casey

This is Colonel Casey's family :D Lesley is her wife and they have two children, Franklin and Dante. They're good friends with the Tracys through Val of course, and although they grew apart a bit after Jeff disappeared, they're still considered family friends. Lesley and Val met through a mutual friend and connected over their shared love of music and breakfast foods. Franklin is about Kayo's age, just a little younger than John, and Dante is between Alan and Gordon. Lesley "and the kids" get a brief mention in this story here :)

The Patterson Family (aka Space Controller Conrad's Family)

Conrad's family are ultra high-achievers and high-expectations and they expect big things from Conrad - he's the youngest and as he says in the episode Long Haul, his siblings are heroes in his eyes (a fire-fighter, a police officer, and a paramedic) and he feels the pressure. I kinda roll with the idea that he's several years younger than his siblings, similar to Alan being several years younger than his brothers, and so here they are. Anyway, this is them in the sims world! From top left to bottom right: Daphne and Ed, then Lawrence, the fire-fighter, Raelynn, the police officer, and Quentin, the paramedic. I have more thoughts, but they're mostly about Conrad so I'll move on for now ;D

Joanne and Walter Hackett

Joanne and Walter are Madeline Lemaire's parents :) I put the Lemaire's in a big giant house, and then made myself sad by headcanoning that they wanted kids and couldn't have them, and so I moved in her parents to make things seem a little less lonely. They're much more sensible than their son-in-law, but mostly see him as harmlessly eccentric. Walter is really into fishing and constantly taking Lemaire out on the boat for a boys day (which he hates lol), and Joanne is very into throwing dinner parties and trying out new cocktail recipes for her guests.

David Reeves

David is Tycho's twin brother purely because I think I'm funny xD He's a bit geeky and works as a primary school teacher, coaching a kids' football team and things. Because Tycho's busy jetting off around the world, David keeps a guest room for him and takes in his mail and things (I know paper mail probs won't exist but SHH). Their parents died when David and Tycho were in their twenties still, so they make sure they do Christmas and birthdays and things together and catch up as often as possible.

Gregory Moffat

This is Gregory, who is Moffie's teenage son (and also my son) and I am extremely fond of him <33 He's pretty quiet really, and plays bass guitar in a band with his friends. Moffie was a little exasperated, because he learnt the cello first and she had visions of seeing him play in an orchestra and things, but he got into an argument at the first practice and ultimately ditched it. He also like art and architecture and is very loyal to his friends.

The Taylor Family

I love the headcanon that Lucille and Lee are siblings, and I also love that she came from a large family as well (it makes sense in my head) and also I stole @avengedbiologist's idea that all the siblings have L names because I love it. I aged up the family to show you what they look like, but I haven't fixed them up fully so it's just a general idea :D Anyway, here we have Connor and Payton Taylor, and then Leonard, Laura and Lily. Leonard is the oldest, then Laura, then it's Lucille and Lee (twins for maximum ow), then Lily is the baby of the family.

I have actually written them into a story (veeeeeery loosely) here :)

okay so based on multiple YJ scenes (some examples shown below) and 1 ask greg these r my estimates:

(disclaimer these r all rough estimates, no way of knowing for 100% sure and I don’t claim to have a complete picture of all relevant scenes for height cold reading lol i would be happy to hear other peoples thoughts/ideas/corrections as well :D )

Geo-Force - Brion Markov : (2001) probably roughly max 6 ft 4 (about 1.95m)

Cyborg - Victor Stone : (2000) maybe about 6 ft 2 -3 (about 1.9m)

Blue Beetle - Jaime Reyes : (2000) about 6 ft 2 (1.88 - 1.9m) i actually have him tied with Vic, the only reason why id rank him a little lower is because in some scenes it could be his suit giving him some height.

Static - Virgil Hawkins : (2000) about 6 ft (1.85m)

El Dorado - Eduardo Dorado Jr : (2001) actually i tied him with Virgil but i’m not always certain so i’d also estimate about 6 ft but a range of (1.83-1.85m)

Superboy - Conner Kent : (2010 lol) about 5 ft 9 (1.8m)

Robin - Tim Drake : (2001) about 5 ft 8 (1.78m)

Wonder Girl - Cassie Sandsmark : (2001) id put her at the same height as Tim maybe only slightly shorter, but Greg has mentioned they’re roughly the same height so therefore also 5 ft 8 (1.78m)

John Stewart: Wow… I was not expecting that.

Young Justice Head Canon 2nd Post (Part 1)

Author's note: Decided to post it both on my personal blog and on my Tumblr as well despite how my Tumblr is an archive blog.

So sad to hear how there won't be a renewal on the Young Justice series and it is really stupid not to renew a show like Young Justice don't you think? What such a bogus move on how a platform like HBO Max just catch a bugaboo for not renewing a show like Young Justice. (*When I say 'Catch a bugaboo'; I am talking here as if they decided not to renew a show like Young Justice to be honest; UGH.)

Honestly, I think Young Justice deserves better in my own opinion to be honest.

I also truthfully and greatly miss writing about Virgil Hawkins and Cassie Sandsmark as my one true pairing whenever I go to Tumblr to check something there out of boredom to be honest. 

Also, this is the first part of the 2nd YJ Head Canon Post I have decided to post it here despite how my Tumblr is an archive blog.

~When it comes to Disney Movies; both Virgil and Cassie would watch the older Disney Movies that they used to watch when they are only young kids however whenever they are watching a Disney Movie; she would normally tears up and Virgil would ask her “Are you okay?” However her response is either a nod or she just replied “I’m okay” as a response to his questions. After that; he would place his arm around her as she tears up on a scene that makes her cry.

~Virgil have been very enthusiastic with the subject history as he gotten older as he enters the University of Hawaii; during his off days, he can either be found at the library of UH or he can found visiting the Bishop Museum at Honolulu; studying the history of Hawaii.

~One of the places Virgil wanted to travel with his family is Washington DC ever since his father had notice how he had the enthusiasm on the subject of history then this is where his dad are plans to travel to Washington DC during his (Virgil’s) spring break.

~Both Virgil and Cassie enjoys surfing in Waikiki; they both love to surf at the Canoes and Queens surf break as he usually surfs on either a long surf board; a fun board which looks like a long board however it has an ability of a short board while Cassie loves surfing on both the long board and later, a short board.

~Cassie is always very excited to learn a new language especially she always wanted to learn Korean; French and Spanish plus Portuguese language as well.

~Virgil have always been in love with Hawaii, however he had been keeping it as a secret that is until when he enters the University of Hawaii; he realizes that there is more to Hawaii than just the beautiful and heavenly scenery. He realize how Hawaii is so diverse yet they have this 'Ohana' culture.

~Virgil wants to learn how to play a music instrument especially the guitar however with his studies and other activities on the sideline; he didn't get the chance to learn how to play an acoustic guitar until he finally got his chance to learn how to play it from music club he joined at his high school days as a Freshman.

This is so stupid, but with all of the talk about how Argentine Spanish is so different from any other dialects, all I can think about is Virgil going to Eduardo to get study help for his Spanish class, and just like absolutely BOMBING the test and I can’t stop freaking laughing

I know Anon. My sister lived in Columbia and traveled across Latin America during that time and told me each time she had to learn Spanish again because it was always different from each other 😂 I mean more than French is different between France, Belgium and Canada or English between British and American (at least to me)

I love your HC Anon! Virgil would not understand because he studied with a Spanish speaker but his teacher noted “???” On his copy because they didn’t understand few words. Of course Jaime will be the one to understand the problem and start to laugh. (If I understood bombing correctly)
