Not me just noticing,,

Ravio told link that what's inside his bag is "more important than life itself",, and then later when he trips like a dork in front of hilda and some rupees fall outta his bag, he looks at them, then at hilda, and continues with his plan to stop the confrontation between her and link instead of picking up his money first,, she's more important to him than something he considers more important than life 🥹

Not to mention he was def concerned about lorule's fate, but he was notably more concerned about hilda's individual well being, writing in his diary that he was bothered by yuga duping her and he was going to "save her from all of this"

Get urself someone who cares about u the way ravio cares about hilda

I genuinely cannot stand when fans go around “correcting” other fans about a character/ship that’s based off a popular headcanon or occasionally a piece of work that is popular but also is not truly canon

It’s completely fine to headcanon whatever you like about a character, they’re fictional they don’t have rights or feelings or boundaries that you’re crossing by headcanoning them a bit(or a lot) different than they are because-and I can’t stress this enough- they aren’t real

but it’s just flat out stupid to say someone else is wrong for not also agreeing regardless of how well you or anyone else thinks it fits the character or “makes more sense” or thought it was “heavily implied” but for some reason this has become a much more common occurrence to do in fandoms(particularly regarding toxic shipping culture)

If you really like and agree with a wildly accepted headcanon that’s great! That just makes it easier to find content you’ll enjoy, but don’t try and falsely correct others just because they don’t agree with it and like the real canon or headcanon something completely different(because as previously stated, they aren’t real, so headcanon whatever you want and just ignore any you dislike)

Fictional characters are free for interpretation by all fans, if you disagree with someone else’s particular interpretation, simply move on. It truly is that easy

Ok so I’ve been replaying Twilight Princess HD bc I wanted to try hero mode and everything was exactly how I remembered it

That is until one day I’m strolling through Hyrule fields as wolf Link and I hear a familiar shriek

Absolutely confused because I am currently a wolf I click next only to see-

The Mail Man. Just the regular old mail man coming to deliver a letter

Link transforms into a Hylian about half a second before the mail man reaches him and then the letter is delivered and they part ways, no words about the wolf exchanged. Just business as usual

So this then begs the question: How the heck does he know it’s us?

I’ve never heard anyone else question this and if you talk to the mail man later he never mentions it. (He also doesn’t ever seemed frightened if you come close to him as wolf Link but he also never truly looks at you)

Has he been aware of our transformation this whole time? Is he stalking us? Does he know about Zant and Gannon? The Twilight Realm? Who told him these things? Or does he just go around screaming “Mr. Link” hoping someone eventually responds? I NEED ANSWERS

Am I the only one that has serious trouble finding good Batfamily fics that include Steph and Duke but don’t include them getting/already being randomly adopted by Bruce for no reason?

Like I have no problem with that headcanon, it’s literally what fanfic is for, this isn’t meant to be criticism. I just don’t personally agree with it and it is very often not tagged whatsoever

unless they specifically asked, you don’t get to tell a fanfic writer you think they mischaracterized the character by the way. because the second someone writes a fanfic about a character, that character becomes the writer’s own version of the character. canon is only a suggestion, but whether or not an author will follow it / how much of canon an author will take is entirely up to them. you don’t get to stick your nose in their world and tell them “hey this is not to my liking therefore I think you’re doing it wrong” when you can simply leave quietly and move on to something else you may enjoy

The Batfamily in line for a roller coaster at an amusement park:

Bruce: Is slowly losing his mind from hearing the same upbeat repetitive 3 minute song play over and over from the ride's speakers. He's mentally plotting a way to buy the amusement park specifically to change this one rides music to something less suicide inducing

Barbara: Got a fast pass to skip the line and has already been on the ride several times. She didn’t buy them in advance or anything, she just hacked in their website to get virtual copies. She is having the time of her life and is making sure everyone else knows it.

Dick: is the only reason any of them are there. Refuses to succumb to boredom and has been trying forcefully engage everyone else as well. He’s played rock paper scissors 32 times with three different people. Is contributing to Bruce's crippling sanity by occasionally humming along to the ride soundtrack.

Jason: Trying to annoy Bruce enough that he makes them leave so he doesn’t have to confess how much he doesn’t want to go on this ride. He’s not scared by any means but this particular ride made him motion sick as a kid and he doesn’t want to test it as an adult

Cassandra: Doesn't mind waiting in line and is enjoying just watching everyone else and their varying increasingly amusing behavior. Has no intention of actually riding the ride and already has a getaway route planned when they make it to the front

Tim: Is extremely tired from back to back all nighters and doing anything he can to wake himself up so he doesn't accidentally fall asleep on a roller coaster again. He still hasn't lived down the first time.

Steph: Is trying to get Tim to play line games with her to varying success since he keeps spacing out. Doesn’t understand why Bruce doesn’t simply bribe his way to the front. Has attempted to sneak through the fast pass line with Barbara several times but keeps getting stopped by security

Duke: Thinks that waiting in the line is part of the amusement park experience and was happy to be invited along since he rarely went o parks as a kid. Has played 28 of the 32 rock paper scissors games with Dick to pass the time

Damian: Was forced to come and doesn’t understand why any of them have interest in seeking a thrill from a roller coaster when their lives provided more than enough adrenaline. Would rather have Goliath just drop and catch him a few times but can’t say that as his family doesn’t know he does that in the first place

Alfred: On a bench nearby patiently waiting with all their things while he reads a book. Has already secretly paid for the photo of the experience for later use

people know Duke Thomas's mom is fine and he's living with her again, right??? They know that he helped her through her recovery and she knows about his life as Signal? And that he was living with his cousin Jay prior to that? Everyone understands the concept of temporary guardianship and how an adult can be a mentor without being a parental figure, right???????

am the only one that never stops using certain slang or phrases even after it’s no longer popular? Like I do use more current ones like “no cap”, “ate/let em cook” and “gave me the ick” and such but also I still say “the bomb”, “Yeet”, and “that’s Gas”

And sometimes people will just give me this look that makes me feel like those cringe parents in shows that would try to be cool by saying old slang like “text me the deets” and “bomb diggity”. Like I’m sorry but once it’s a part of my vocabulary we’re locked in for life, there’s nothing either of us can do about it

Alright everyone once more with feeling: The ultimate reblog collage from the post I made a year ago

so I’ve seen lots of fics about Bruce coming back and finding out things like Tim loosing his spleen or Damian getting shot (on multiple occasions by different people) and he almost always finds out by either having dug into the Batcomputers records and stumbling across it or just seeing it on scans or something after Tim or Damian is injured

but imagine for a moment Bruce finds out, not on his own, but by the others telling him.

And by “tell him” I of course mean that they all automatically assume that he already knows about all of it(because he’s the worlds greatest detective so obviously they don’t need to say anything) so they never bring it up until they mention it one day in passing and nearly give him a heart attack.

for example:

Bruce: Tim, I need you to come with me to speak with Dr. Thompkins down at the clinic about that new drug that’s been circulating

Tim: Oh, sure thing, just let me grab my mask

[Bruce not saying anything but looking at him confused because Tim is already fully suited up and wearing his domino mask?]:

[Tim, now wearing a surgical face mask]: Ok, I’m ready! [Bruce just staring at him, waiting for some explanation. He doesn’t get one.]:

Bruce: Tim

Tim: hm?

Bruce: Why are you wearing a face mask..?

Tim: Oh! Well Dr. Thompkins got mad at me last time I came to the clinic without one because there’s a lot of sick people there and I should be more careful since I’m immunocompromised-

[Bruce, immediately cutting him off]: Wait, what?

[Tim, slightly confused]: She got mad at me when I didn’t wear one last time..?

[Bruce, equally confused and growing very concerned]: No, not that. You’re immunocompromised?

[Tim, now completely lost because this is all common knowledge?]: Uh, yeah??

[Bruce, even more concerned]: How??? What do you mean??

[Tim, getting annoyed and rolling his eyes]: Well that’s what they call you when you have no spleen, Bruce.

Bruce: What.

[Tim finally realizing that, just maybe, they skipped a step]: I have no spleen? It got stabbed so Ra’s took it

[Bruce, about to have an aneurysm]: RA’S DID WHAT-

______ Or like him finding out Damian had his entire spine replaced

Bruce: Hey, do you think it’s strange Damian’s so small?

Dick: No?? He’s ten?? Ten year olds are small?

[Bruce, audibly concerned]: No, I mean don’t you think he should have grown some by now? Is he not eating enough?

[Dick, immediately relaxing]: Oh, that? Yeah, it’s fine

[Bruce, still concerned]: Are you sure? I was taller than that at his age

[Dick, waving his hand dismissively]: Nah, he’s fine. I think the spine replacement just stunted his growth a bit

Bruce:…

Dick:..?

[Bruce, near hysterically because all his kids somehow keep losing pieces of their insides and none of them seem bothered by it??]: his wHAT- ____

Dick has to spend the next several hours trying to stop Bruce from making everyone do a mandatory medical examination so he can make sure none of his other kids are missing anything

Dick promises that it was just the two things

Bruce is not reassured
