Yesterday was World Mental Health day .... and today I wanted to carry on the theme of caring for your Mental Health . . Social media is wonderful , it can put you intouch with people you may never have met , people you might have lost touch with . It can inspire , motivate and open you up to new things. . It can show you new ways of thinking, different cultures, different places and different views. . But .... navigating social media can be hard , especially if we start to let our mind compare ourselves to those pictures we see online . . We have to use social media with the right mindset , knowing that what we see in a picture is a teeny tiny piece of someone’s life , and we don’t really know them or their lives . . No One is perfect , no ones life is perfect , we have to learn to be happy in our own skin and our own lives , and not compare ourselves to tiny snapshots of other peoples !! . . OMG I’m back again ....... . . Want to know something ?? Ive never read something more relatable as this today . . I’m so guilty of pushing myself too much , I am human after all . . People sometimes think because you coach others , because you share knowledge and coping strategies , that your never overwhelmed , that you don’t find times difficult , that you don’t get crippled by fear or let negative beliefs hold you back . . But this couldn’t be further from the truth , there is no magic key , there is no one thing that makes life sail smoothly , it’s about learning to recognise these things , and having strategies to get through them . . As some one you know I have recent re-launched and re-branded @planthaya . At the same time I booked in an event for October and I’m running myself into the ground to try and make both a success. . This week I will be taking time to sit down and reassess ; •Look where this overwhelming anxiety is stemming from. • Decide wether it’s an unfounded fear or genuinely too much. • Create a plan based on what is good for my own well being and my long term goals. . . Why is this not me right now ?? . . This was one of my favourite Sundays had THE most amazing Sunday Roasts at @ilfornolpool , a few spritz’s , lots of wine and even more cake . . Right now I’ve waited 2 hours for Uber to feed me , had to explain ten times to my child that he isn’t going to Hell . Tried to no avail to explain that there isn’t a set amount of times you swear before being sent to Hell , and dropped chocolate cake down myself ... more than once . . . Some days your winning .... some days you have to explain the criteria for being sent to Hell .... even Google doesn’t know 🙄 I know where I would rather be !! . . . Last night I too@ a break from social media to attend a mini workshop on ... drum roll please .. . . Social Media !!! 😂 I love learning and always have been a little sponge love keeping anything new , i no sooner finish one thing and need something else . . So last night I went along to @_womenssociety event where @femalebossclub was taking all things Instagram. . Now I do think I’m white well tuned on the social media front I mean I spend most of my life on here so I should know something right ? . But I learnt lots of new little tips and tricks for my businesses, helping me to focus on my target audience and get myself organised . . And if I’m honest it’s nice to go out and do something different apart from eating .. well there was some amazing Sweet Nuts , but apart from that no food !!
