how to turn heads when you walk past people
⋆ ˚。⋆ ♡ৎ ˚
I said it and I deliver! Today I'm going to teach you how to turn heads in public, we all need sometimes to feel like that hot chick from every 2000s movie /tv show, for example the girl from degrassi! So are you ready to become a next level of hot?
୨୧your hair୨୧
this is so important! Especially if you decide to wear a simple outfit, your hair it's going to become the key of your outfit! Of course you want the attention to be good, so go for more trendy style of something that makes you more exotic looking, I know it sounds ridiculous, but for example I attracted the most attention when I wore red curly hair, hair that are seen as more rare for people of your ethinicity are the ones that are going to get you the most attention!
୨୧your smell୨୧
When vision is not an option the Smell is the first thing that we notice(along side the sound), I suggest you to smell according to seasons and to use stuff that works great with your body chemistry
୨୧Fashion୨୧
You don't have to be all glam up, but a particular style indeed make's other turn around, find body fitting piece of clothing and accessories that increase your confidence, if you prefer a more baggy style, try to go for more graphic hoodies and particular pants(I have in mind the Trad goth aesthetic for some reasons)
୨୧your walk୨୧
Keep your back straight, walk like you know where you have to be, and make sure that you exude confidence while doing it!
Tumblr media
Hi bonitas, how have you been doing?, sorry if I'm so slow and just repost stuff, but I have like 20000 ideas, start 1000 of them and finish 0😩 ahahajanjsbdak, I hope I helped you with today's guide xoxo

starting and managing ur blog⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🍰
Tumblr media
so you wanna start a blog? in this post i’ll break down effective ways to start, manage and maintain a blog (from my own experience of course) i hope u find this helpful ✨
Tumblr media Tumblr media
TOPIC AND IDEA ;
to have a blog you need an idea or concept about what your blog will be about. make your blog about either something that you know a lot about/are proficient in.
or blog about something that u are learning about as a way to track ur progress and learn new information. you could blog about something that you love a lot etc etc.
AESTHETIC ;
what is your aesthetic? for me it’s hyper feminine and pink and just DIVINE. when u choose and stick to an aesthetic it’ll give ur blog kind of a signature which is important for the rest of this post.
when u have an aesthetic in mind for ur blog make sure that you have plenty of pins on pinterest that mesh nicely with ur aesthetic so u can find things like headers, dividers, photos and emojis that suit the aesthetic of ur blog.
RESOURCES ;
pinterest is my holy grail for resources. there u can find headers and photos to use in ur posts to give ur audience something visually pleasing to look at while they read ur post.
what ur gonna want to start off ur blog aesthetic and theme is ;
a header
a color scheme (for coloring/bolding words. and the colors for ur blog page in general)
an informative bio
a pfp
dividers
START OFF POST IDEAS ;
if u want to run a well organized blog there are a couple posts that i think are beneficial for u to make. in fact the most important post that i think any blog should have is a MASTERLIST.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
master lists are great for a multitude of things. they help ur audience to navigate ur blog easier and see all that you have to offer in one convenient tap of their finger. plus when u make navigating ur blog easy, more people will experience ur content which will mean more interactions with ur post.
not only does it help the audience but it also helps u to know what u did and didn’t post, so that u can plan effectively for the future. it’s also a fun way to see how much u posted. i recommend making a new masterlist every year or when you can’t put any more links onto it 💀. if u want a reference for a good masterlist you can check out mine right here.
CONSISTENCY ;
consistency is key in anything and everything and blogging is no exception. i recommend not blogging in a competitive nature, rather i think in order to be consistent with something like a blog you should genuinely just do it for funsies/passion and as a way to have ur own authentic creative outlet.
i don’t have a set posting schedule bcuz i don’t want blogging to feel like a chore when in reality it’s just a hobby that happened to gain an audience because people enjoyed it. and because people enjoy what i write, it in return makes me happy and wanna write more.
SIGNATURE ;
i cannot stress this enough but when u have a platform whether it’s small or big individuality sets you apart! have something that sets u apart like personalized hash-tags, a way that u talk, etc etc.
personalize hash-tags with things like emojis. also, USE UR HASHTAGS because when someone looks up something like “self improvement” your post will be what they see if u add those hashtags.
furthermore if u personalize those hashtags it sets u apart and gives ur blog a kind of brand and individuality in a way. like a signature at the end of a post.
THINGS TO KEEP TRACK OF ;
what posts you’ve done/want to do
upcoming projects or ideas that u have
how your following/interactions are growing or shrinking
how much $ u get from tips
inbox questions or dms to answer
your plans and goals
your personalized hashtags
i hope this post was helpful to anyone who has been thinking about or wants to create their own blog, i encourage you to do so ✨

Do you have any advice for growing your fic blog? Because I'm posting fics but not getting a lot of attention and it can be really hard to keep giving when no one reacts to it
i do have advice, but before i say anything, i just want to remind you to write for yourself. write because you love writing, not because you're looking for likes and interaction from people, because i think it really shows when people love writing, and that does attract other people.
for your fics to reach a lot of people, my number 1 tip would be to use tags. if you look at literally any of my fics, you can see that i've got a lotttttt of tags, just so that many people can access them, and discover my writing. like you can see from this screenshot from one of my most recent fic just how many tags i use. i also have my own tag '#rainydayathogwarts' that i use for all my fics so people can find them in one spot.
Tumblr media
and to also make it easier for people to make their way around your blog, i suggest having a navigation post. you can look at my pinned post for reference, but it's basically to help organise everything and add your masterlists all in one place. i think having this bit of organisation encourages people to look around your blog, which could potentially help grow it since they could find all your fics.
then, i would also suggest having a recognisable blog. what i mean by that is to add a header image, profile photo and change up your theme a little just so your blog doesn't look empty. if it has an eye catching vibe, people will more likely click on it.
i also noticed from my own experience that when i interacted with other blogs more and commented on how much i liked their work and reposted stuff, people began interacting back. and that's honestly how i've become mutuals with a lot of people. i'm not sure if this will exactly help grow your blog, but it's still people who are there and will interact with your work. also, if you interact with people on their posts, i feel like others will probably click on your profile more, and then could discover your blog.
i really don't want you to be discouraged, so just know that the beginning is always the hardest bit. when your account grows - even by just a little bit, things will speed up. so keep writing because it's what you love to do, not because you want validation from others (even if i do admit that it helps).

Tips for starting out a new writing blog ?
tbh tags. establish a tag system. figure out how you’re gonna organize your reblogs, your posts, the characters you write for etc etc. like srsly i wish i had done that when i started this blog, now i’m going back to manually change tags to fit my new tagging system.
i honestly choose an aesthetic first. name, title, descrip, pfp, bkg. it’s always the most fun for me. pick your fave colors bcos those will stick with you the longest.
put your age in your bio or pinned. super important
make a navi page, and masterlist page first. organize your masterlist by fandom ppl rly like that. make an anon page when you get your first emoji anon and keep track of themmmm by goddd i did not keep track of my emoji anons and recently had to revamp the whole thing, everyone had to pick new emojis. do a rules page also, and if you need help defining your boundaries in your rules take a look at mine bcos mine is super thorough
if you write smut don’t use the actor’s name or character’s name plain. like when i write a anakin skywalker smut post, i don’t say “hayden christensen” or “anakin skywalker” in the tags bcos it’s a good way to get stuck with a community label. chances are someone is in those tags that doesn’t look for smut and doesn’t know what a blow a community label is, and they just hit the “add community label” button so tumblr nails you with one. always tag your smut fics with “(character) smut” or “(character) x reader” and never just “(character)”
don’t tag more than you have to. like you don’t have to clog up tags with things that don’t pertain to it. if you’re writing anakin skywalker x reader don’t tag the fic as “obi wan x reader” too. keep your tags relevant otherwise ppl will tell u not to clog up tags.
if there’s a way to credit things, do. always. find a way to credit things. if you found a fanart picture on pinterest, reverse google image search it to find the source to check of the artist allows reposts etc. if you’re inspired by someone else’s writing even marginally mention them in the post you wrote inspired by their piece.
reblog other people’s work that you like.
that’s all i can think of rn. gl

hi!! Do you have any advice for starting up a kinhelp blog for the first time? ^^
Tumblr media
Of Course!!! One order of... I suppose this is close enough to Kin Advice... coming right up!
While our cafe may not be the best spot to ask about this question, I can still tell you what we've done so far to try to get some traction!! So FIRST, our managers came up with a theme, our cafe! So it's some what more... Unique per say. Gives us a Niche, Niches often help build a community better so that's why we decided to implement one in the first place. Secondly, you need some content, explain to your hope to be audience what kind of services you provide, for example, our menu for our cafe! Let it be known what you are trying to do with the blog. Also continuing on with needing content... we hired in "fake customers".... our hosts themselves put in some orders just to show tumblr what we CAN provide. A couple of stim boards, and also because why not make them for each other anyways. Instead of that though however you could probably ask a couple friends to put in stuff as well. Also, something our cafe hasn't done much of yet is advertise. Ask for some promos, maybe share your blog in places where people may be interested! Lastly, have fun with it, but also try to be a little consistent. I feel like our cafe could have more customers if we actually served some more of the orders we have had and not just left them locked in the cafe while the owners and staff went on vacation... BUT AGAIN, HAVE FUN, you wouldn't want to just manage a boring blog that you hate going to everyday...
I hope this advice might help a bit! Ole~!

How to Grow on Tumblr?
I have been looking through different posts and I notice that some people have been asking how do you grow around here? Now I may not have 100k followers but these are some methods I used to grow my little art blog. Are you ready? Let's Go!
Tumblr media
Blog Theme
Tumblr media
Blog theme? Yep! When you look at my blog how do you feel? I'm all about calmness, improvement, and being as causal as possible. Therefore, my writing style, color scheme, and pictures are all centered around that. So what's your blog about? Do you want it to be colorful, calm, quirky? Sit and think about it and create a blog that suits you. There're hundreds of themes online to choose from so search, pick, edit, and have fun!
What to Post?
Tumblr media
Now that all depends on you. Same as your blog theme your posts will be centered around that. Is it a reblogging account? An art blog? Ensure that your posts are in line with your theme. Don't say it's an art blog and then you post things about computers and robots unless you're going to draw them. ^^
Be Nice
Tumblr media
Yes, yes, nice and polite unlike other platforms I noticed that Tumblr is quite small which means people know people. So it's best to be nice to others. Also, follow other people who are in the same interest as you, engage on their page, drop some love, and who knows they may just follow you back.
Be Patient
Tumblr media
Yea, I know bummer, but you have to wait. If you put effort into your content and do your best, in time you may just grow a small following of your own. Just remember not to center your life around your page. TOUCH SOME GRASS!
Tumblr media
That's it! I hope this may help you a little bit but at the end of the day Tumblr is here for fun so have fun! Drop any other tips that might be helpful to others or if you have suggestions let me know ^^.
Stay healthy and stay cute.🌿

Could I ask how you started your blog? Was it always Bat-stuff? How did you get people to take notice of your posts/fics? I’ve just started my own blog and I need all the help I can get!
Hey friend!
That's a good question. I think my original plan when I started this blog was twofold:
Follow every single DC or Batman related blog I could find;
Reblog what I considered quality posts from those blogs as often as possible
Starting out that way gets your recommended to more new users etc because you're a good reblogger with content that scores well with other users.
I only started writing original posts a few months later. Some of them did okay, a lot of them truly sucked. I just kept at it, adding my thoughts in text etc whenever the mood struck me. Slowly, people began to follow me not just for those rebloggable high-quality posts, but for some funny takes etc.
I think the best advice is to just be a constant, consistent source of content. Sometimes that means figuring out what your niche is first.
Good luck!

What are your tips on running a source blog?
this is a really interesting question that i'm not even sure i can answer properly, but i will try my best! as a disclaimer, i'm most definitely not an authority on this subject, no matter how many source blogs i may run now or have run in the past, but i'll just try to describe my process creating & running a source blog. for reference for which source blogs i currently run, they are: @xmenuniverse, @batfamilycentral, @opla, @falloutprime & @ringsofpowerdaily (it's a lot, i know).
- setting the blog
now when i set the blog up, i always pick a costume theme (you may notice i used the same for several of my blogs bc it's easy & it works well with what i want). i try to personalize it as best as i can with header, icon, etc (same for the mobile theme) + create some standard pages: about, navigation, affiliates.
- launching the blog + intro post
when i'm ready to officially launch a new source blog (& after i make sure my posts will show up in the tags! i always do a little test 1st!), i post a little intro post, where i welcome ppl to the blog, explain what it is about, what tags i will be tracking if ppl want to tag me in their edits, etc. here's a reference. you can tag this post with the general fandom tags, edit tags + potential fandom related source blogs that can give you a boost. this helps introducing the blog to new ppl & gain a few followers hopefully.
- editing + creating a following
honestly this is self explanatory. the best way to gain followers is to post in the tags. for fandom blogs it's best achieved through making edits: gifsets, graphics, etc. be sure to always use the fandom edit tags + search up other source blogs related to the fandom that you may be able to tag.
- taking requests
something that i do often is ask for requests, particularly when starting a blog. it helps to engage with ppl & give you ideas if you are struggling with what to edit. this is, however, 100% optional.
- running the blog: tracked tags
now i create source blogs with one main reason in mind: to help boost the work of other fandom creators + create an archive of their work. this means that i try to reblog as many of ppl's original creations as i possible can & to do this there's always a few tags that i track & check out regularly. this is basically up to you + the free time you have. generally i track at least the blog's tag (tends to be your url or something similar) + edit & fanart tags, but you can also check general fandom tags, tho it's a lot more work. personally i play it by ear, depending on my needs.
- running the blog: setting up a queue
my goal when running a source blog is to be able to keep it updating regularly for as long as possible, so i always send posts to the queue, instead of reblogging them all right away. it also helps with not spamming your followers. something that i do do is try to prioritize edits or art in which my blog is personally tagged. this means i tend to manually go into the queue & send those post to the beginning of it if i can. this is only achievable if i'm only tagged in a few edits once in a while tho, otherwise it gets too overwhelming. for example, i simply can't do this with @ringsofpowerdaily, bc i'm tagged in far too many posts.
- running the blog: fanart
honestly this is ultimately completely optional (as is every tip in this post), but i always try to include fanart as a part of what i reblog if i can. this is not always common place with source blogs, which often tend to prioritize gifs & graphic edits, but like i mentioned, i want to help boost fandom creators to the best of my ability & fanartists are a huge backbone of fandom. tbh some of my blogs run almost exclusively on fanart (@xmenuniverse, @batfamilycentral & @opla during the hiatus) & i wouldn't be able to have them post regularly if it wasn't for it.
the problem with fanart is that it is sometimes hard to track down. ppl are not as conditioned to using a fanart tag as they are an edit tag, so the fandom fanart tags may be pretty bare & it may required you to search through the general fandom tags instead. this is up to you & completely optional & i only do it for certain blogs & depending on necessity.
- getting help
tho i currently run all my blogs alone, it's not uncommon & i've done so in the past, to have multiple members in a source blog. they may be either promoted to admin or just a regular member, but if you need help posting more original edits regularly & setting the queue up, etc, it can be helpful to have more members. you can either ask a friend you can trust or set up an application form for new members. always remember tho that once you upgrade someone to admin, you can no longer make them leave the blog if you want & they have full range to make changes on it, so only do so for ppl you feel you can trust!
- affiliates
this is not terribly important all things considered, but as part of the costume theme i use, there's always a little place for affiliates. this is nothing more than ppl you can link to on your blog & they will do so in theirs, to help promote your blogs to each other's followers. don't be afraid to apply your blog as an affiliate to other source blogs, if they have the option. the max i've got was not getting an answer, which generally means it was not accepted.
- keeping the source blog a neutral place
now this is something i personally consider incredibly important when running my source blogs: i always try to keep my personal opinions off the blog, unless it's something that i consider actually harmful. i won't post if i like or dislike something, i will do my best to reblog edits/fanart of characters, ships or media of all kind, including those i may not be a fan of. it's important to me that my blog is a welcoming place to all members of the fandom.
- tagging system
i think one of the most important things about running a source blog or any blog working as an archive is to have a functioning tagging system. this can be as simple or as detailed as you like. my tagging varies depending on the blog & the fandom. for example: @xmenuniverse & @batfamilycentral are dedictated to comics & its varied adaptations, so not only do i tag by character, post type (#gif, #graphic, #video, #still, #picspam, etc), i also tag the media type (#comic, #tv, #movie, #vg, #animated) & i try to tag each comic, movie, tv series (for example: #c: batman, #m: batman returns, etc).
for blogs like @opla, @falloutprime & @ringsofpowerdaily, since they are only dedictated to a specific tv series, my tagging system is different. i tag characters, by season (#s1, #s2, etc), by episode if possible (#1.01, #1.02), as well as post type & whether it's an edit of the show itself (#tv), the cast (#cast) or fanart (#art).
- self care
last, but most definitely not least, it is important you put yourself 1st when running a blog, ANY blog. source blogs can be a lot of work, & unfortunately sometimes ppl don't value it as much as they should. it's okay if you can't make new edits all the time, it's okay if you can't check the tags today or if you have to take a break or that request is taking too long. ppl will have to understand.
i hope this long ass post is helpful in any way & if you have any more questions, feel free to message me again! you are also free to use any of my own blogs as reference, i don't mind at all!

My most used apps 4 tumblr
Pinterest: y’all don’t have to be aesthetically pleasing but I like to be it looks cute to me, so it isn’t really important if u don’t care 4 pictures
CharMap: again I used the fonts and symbols bc it looks cool and I like to put effort in this 𝖇𝖑𝖔𝖌 but if u don’t care 4 it it’s fine. And if u wanna use it it’s easier to add it to ur keyboards in setting(I have an iPhone ion know if it works 4 Samsung)
Notes: I like to type wat I’ll post b4 hand so I can proof read it n shit
SoundCloud or YouTube: With the music playing it’s so easy 4 me to get into a flow state and jus make a whole bunch of drafts or schedule stuff. And if it’s boring 4 u it really helps to put on YouTube videos

How to Write an Authentic Blog in the Age of AI
Enhancing Creativity and Authenticity in the Digital Era
Tumblr media
Summary:
Efficiency Boost with AI Assistance: The author discusses how using ChatGPT has significantly reduced the time it takes to write a blog post, from the initial thought process to final proofreading, enhancing productivity and content creation.
Key Strategies for Authentic Blogging: The post outlines several strategies for maintaining authenticity in blogging, such as sharing personal stories, providing references, emphasizing originality, and avoiding insincerity, to create more engaging and genuine content.
The Permanence of Online Content: The author reflects on the long-term impact of digital footprints, stressing the importance of careful content creation and the challenges involved in managing or correcting past online content.
My thought development time is approximately 5 minutes. It takes me around 30 minutes to write two paragraphs, and self-proofreading can take up to 4 hours. However, if my wife, Prashanthi, helps with proofreading, the process is much quicker. This slow pace often led to internal criticism and a decrease in my writing efficiency. Eventually, my willpower waned, and I stopped writing regularly. As an entrepreneur, writing blogs or microblogs is like leaving a footprint in the spacetime continuum. It shows my followers that "Raghu is alive and well somewhere."
Upon starting to use ChatGPT, I noticed a significant increase in my writing speed; completing a blog now takes between 30 to 60 minutes. This leads me to ponder how to create an authentic blog while utilizing ChatGPT for proofreading.
Narrate Your Own Story: Keeping my own story at the forefront and maintaining a subjective perspective makes the blog more authentic. It allows my audience a glimpse into my life, sharing ideas, and the highs and lows I experience.
Provide References: Incorporating references to books and links helps connect the content to the broader context of the blog. Without these references, the blog might seem detached from human insight, despite being impressively crafted.
Enhance Appeal: Using generative AI for images and summary bullets can make the blog more appealing and presentable to the target audience.
Stay Genuine: Faking content is not a sustainable strategy. Insincerity can erode your authentic character, analogous to a serial killer seeking absolution through superficial means.
Innovate: Introducing new ideas, words, acronyms, and abbreviations can help the audience remember the content when needed.
Infer and Interpret: Drawing inferences is an effective way to engage with the world around you. This process requires creativity and is often fueled by a diverse intake of books and films.
When promoting content, I alternate between slow and fast pacing. This is because the content produced is permanent. Even minor errors or misjudgments can persist indefinitely. In the past, I had to remove many of my old blog posts due to naivety in content selection. Receiving feedback from colleagues on content published years ago was a challenging process. When I search my name online, I find a trail of digital footprints and discussions dating back to 2005. There should be a way to manage or cleanse one's digital history in recommendation systems.
