How the frick am I supposed to get a job and work my way through college if nowhere paying over $8 an hour will hire someone who hasn't yet graduated college??

It’s been a hot sec since I posted, but lots to update on!! 

After applying for over 110 jobs over the past month I went through the interview process with one of my top choices and they ended up picking me for the position!! So I start that job next week, which i’m so excited for! 

I had my last shift at Peet’s Coffee where I have worked the past 2 years, and tbh it was a horrible job. The company is so bad, management is awful (though my store’s managers were totally fine, but bc it’s a corporate company, most of the problematic things were entirely out of their control!) And so leaving was the biggest relief of my life tbh. The past two weeks of being done there and waiting to start at my new job have been an absolute breath of fresh air, and i’m so so grateful! 

I started up my climbing membership again and being back at that is an incredibly amazing thing! I actually was able to progress pretty quickly to where I was prior to leaving the sport for the past few years. I am not where I was by any means, but I definitely stayed in shape via other workouts and so I am picking it back up fast! 

I rearranged my room and got rid of my desk (no longer need it for school lol) and invested in a bean bag chair which is in the perfect corner in my room where the sunlight hits perfectly and have made it my reading nook and I LOVE it!
