Eldritch Time
Time pulls the Fierce Deity mask from his face. One part of him wants to throw into a fire and watch the wood pop and smoke. The other part stares at his boys, bruised and bloody, but alive. They look like they’ve gone three rounds with Ganon and lost.
Hyrule is already moving from person to person, hands glowing with healing magic. Others chug potions. No one rushes for him or cheers—not that he can blame them. Considering the fight they must have had? They can have a moment to process.
Time needs a moment to process. He needs more than a few and he has the experience to back how precious those moments are.
He may be 30, but right now? He’s as old as the Chain teased him to be. Trauma is different for everyone. Legend buries it behind visible walls. Time does, too, but his are invisible. He’s lived long enough to know not to burden the boys. For all they insist they are grown, most are still children.
Pushed to adventure too soon, forced to maturity beyond their years—but still, children. Even Legend can’t bury the spark completely. If only they didn’t have to.
Time should have put the Fierce Deity mask on sooner.
He looks down and accounts for the one person missing from the group. Wild. The champion is slumped, probably passed out. For as long as the moment feels to Time, it’s likely only been seconds.
He beats them to further action. Hanging the mask on his belt loop, he scoops Wild into his arms. Immediately, there’s a sucking emptiness. A hole in the shape of a hylian. A darkness where there should be life.

DP AU where the box ghost is actually someone from the future that came back as a ghost to try and warn Danny before all the major battles. The problem is that ghosts are mostly ruled by emotions and since he isn't directly connected to all the battles as they happened, his memories get fuzzy at best so whenever he warns Danny, it's either because there's about to be a world ending event or because someone's cat got stuck on a tree (and anything in between)
So when Danny joins the JL as Phantom they ask him about his rogue gallery. He tells them all about the ancients he fought and skulker and the GIW, even his parents, though he only says they were mad scientists with a huge bias.
And then, after he tells them about the "plasmius incident" they ask whether he thinks Vlad is the one that's caused him most trouble and Danny goes quiet for a bit and looks thoughtful for way too long before saying in a quiet voice "no, that's actually the box ghost. He's always warning me about something. It's terrifying"
The JL are concerned. What could be worse than all the Eldritch terrors Danny has described? They try to ask for details but whenever they bring the topic, Danny gets this lost stare and goes silent until they change the topic or snap him out of it. It's kind of unsettling. So they leave it be. Even Batman doesn't push it (he would rather not traumatize the kid more, thank you very much, he's also wondering if he can adopt someone that's technically dead, asking for a friend).
And then the box ghost shows up at the watchtower. They all come running when they hear the ominous "Beware". Batman activates all the alerts. Boxy just throws a box at him, then leaves. Batman calls for a meeting, most of the heroes were already in the watchtower anyway, he describes the incident to phantom.
Danny: ah, that was just his way of saying hi. I guess he wants to start haunting you too. Should be fun :)
Batman: hn
The JL: ?!?
Danny: Don't worry, I'll ask him to be nicer next time :)
Flash: was that... Supposed to be terrifying? He just threw a box, right?
Danny: 🤷🏻♀️

Imagine you live in pelican town.
The new farmer has been here a couple weeks now and seems to be settling in, except... He's picking the weirdest friend choices. Like sure it's not weird to befriend the local fisherman, especially when he has an interest in fishing himself, but you're pretty sure you've seen him rooting through the Saloon's garbage with the local homeless man. As well, he keeps harassing the poor guy who works at Joja even though you KNOW he doesn't want to be friends with him.
And since you're on the topic of weirdness, isn't it odd he seemingly runs everywhere at a full sprint? Or just... Eats entire raw fish while fishing for "energy reasons"...
...
Despite all that, it's too early to call him off putting or anything... He has been engaging in town traditions, and he's started helping out with the old community centre. He's probably like the rest of you. Someone with a few quirks, that will fit in with the valley great!
Surely he can't get any weirder... Right?

Beloved Beyond Time
A DeadSerious Prompt where a young Damian follows his mother's advice about finding his future 'Beloved' and is smitten with a TimeTraveling Ghost King (Prince) Danny when his grandfather summoned the eldritch being.
Damian, despite being young, will want no other to be by his side once he takes over the League. Especially since the King was able to strike fear in his grandfather for even just for a moment.
Danny, whose just started taking up his soon to be Kingly title and duties, at first freaked out when a kid who just got out of toddlerhood is offering marriage. Who wouldn't. And well while he didn't fully encourage it, he found it a little adorable and tried to nudge the kid away from said... err crush feelings?
He was a little sad to have to say goodbye to the kid when his month long stay with the al Ghul's (mostly to see if they're worthy to keep the Pits) he was pretty for sure he'd never run into the kid again and if he did who knows how old they'd actually be because again.. time travel.
So Danny now at the age of 16 really wasn't expecting to be basically be cornered on his first day at his new school at Gotham Academy by a 17 year old Damian Wayne who is leaning over him and says "Hello Beloved. Time has been kind to you it seems."
Danny's poor half-alive heart is currently dying from being cornered by an older Damian.
Let this crazy train wreck begin.

eldritch green lantern ideas:
ring slowly starts fusing with the finger it's on until one day the finger just glows, there's no more ring
bleeding green (duh)
so willful that reality tends to bend around them in small instances, like coffee always being warm or never having to wait for the elevator, or someone nearby tripping
the ring stops translating other languages because they just start understanding/speaking them eventually
the constructs chosen by Earth Lanterns stop looking like Earth items and more alien, older, ancient
Lanterns slowly forgetting to take off their uniforms and just start wearing them all the time
separating them from their ring will cause very, very bad things to happen
not eating or drinking for several days, then several weeks, then several months at a time without noticing
unintentionally feeding (mentally) off of strong-willed people, and even encouraging disagreement just to sit in the middle of it and feel something almost warm again
