Fentons are geniuses but not multitaskers. They’re used to giving their all to the most important thing on the list, forgetting even food and sleep, and then going back to something else.

So when they find out that Danny is Phantom, they panic and can’t think of anything else. Well, until they see the Gotham News on TV. What does it matter if their boy’s ghost or not? He's in bad company now and dating a crime lord! That's a real problem. No time to whine about their research about the nature of ghosts. Their boy is in danger! Change of priorities, urgent change of priorities!

So, when Danny moves in with Jason because of identity reveal, Batman prepares for various outcomes. To the flow of GIWs in Gotham, to the parents of the boy who may continue to hunt him and even to the likelihood that Maddie and Jack will accept their child without any questions. Bruce is a genius, but he forgets to include one important variable in the equation, namely his son. Despite the anti-hero’s current status, Red Hood is still remembered by the general public for his bloody methods of controlling Crime Alley. Which could definitely bother..anyone, to be honest. And it's understandable that video of Red Hood and Phantom beating Black Mask up on news did not make a pleasant first impression.

However, Bruce himself know a completely different side of his son and therefore could not tolerate the completely unfounded accusations from Maddie. Batman: How dare you! My boy is an angel. Your son is incredibly lucky to have such a thoughtful and caring partner. Jack: Yeah? I don't think so. How do we know he’s not just going to use Danno powers in his criminal plans? Maddie: We’re taking our boy home and it’s out of the question. Batman: Yeah? And how do we know you’re not just taking him for your experiments? Danny *whispers*: Um, Jay, we should go away, if you remember. Red Hood *whispers*: Yeah, yeah, I know. But just listen to it. Usually we can not get a word out of him. A temporary cure for emotional constipation is a true miracle. May your parents stay longer if, you know, they will not try to shoot you or smth else?

Maddie at home*aggressively filing a petition against anti-ecto laws*: I don’t care if the parental rights aren’t over the ghosts. How dare a bloody furry tell me I have no official right to take my son home and shove my own quotes in my face calling him a thing?!

Vlad who has long wanted to get rid of GIW *enters the house*: Bonjour, need a helping hand? Jack and Maddie *exchange glances without knowing if Danny’s secret should be revealed to their friend*. Vlad: Oh, for Ancients’s sake. *Snaps his fingers and goes Plasmius* Vlad: I’m also a stakeholder in it, okay? ~~~after two hours of talking~~~ Jack: Wait, V-man, if you know about Danny being Phantom, you know about his boyfriend too? Vlad: Red Hood? How could I not. I often visit Gotham for business deals. This is a favorite topic of newspapers and gossip. I don’t know who he is without a mask but I must admit the guy has a good aim, a lot better than you, Jack. Maddie: *pulls out the Ghost Peeler*

Kon, in an effort to blow off steam after another argument with Superman, goes to bumfuck nowhere. He meets a small-time hero named Phantom.

Phantom is happy to lend a listening ear, nodding along sympathetically and giving Kon fantastic ideas to fuck with Superman.

Then he stops Kon with an increasingly concerned expression.

"Wait-and all of his friends are saying he isn't normally like this?"

"Yeah, according to Dinah he may be like, projecting or something-"

"On a scale of 1-10, how different is he?"

Kon stops and frowns, thinking.

"I dunno, apparently he's like, super kind and empathetic? Normally? Now he's just an asshole though."

"And this just...happened. Apparently."

"Yeah, he came back after being dead, took one look at me, and decided that being his 'nice and normal self' was too much work."

Phantom looks sick.

"So don't take this the wrong way, but I think I need to actually fight Superman."

OR: Superman was cruel to Kon when he came back because he was possessed, and the ghost possessing him was clever enough to bypass pinging on any of the JLD radar. It was behaving like itself towards Kon because it knew that Kon had no one to report it to that would take it really seriously, so long as it pretended to be kind to everyone else. So it was treating Kon like stress-relief. But Danny realizes it. And the only way Danny knows how to perform a successful exorcism is to punch the ghost out of somebody. Literally. (also the fenton peeler but that thing freaks him out)

That's my baby brother you attacked

Jazz stood in her Fenton Ghost Peeler Suit and crossed arms before a group of Gothams vigilantes. Her little brother was hugging her around the shoulder, in his Phantom form and floating. His face pressed into her shoulder and letting out quite ghostly whines couple with her name in ghost speech. He was clearly distressed.

With crossed arms, she glared at Gotham's vigilantes. They stood before her as a group. But the front took... Nightwing? She believed that was the name he used to introduce himself, who had the current Robin clinging to his arm. The kid looked as distressed as her brother, and normally, she would care to help, but right now, she was in protective sister mode. HER brother came first.

"We really mean no harm. It's just Robin and the others mistook him for a clone, and we would like to-"

"No." She cut the guy off. She glanced at HER baby brother, still refusing to look up and face the situation as he made another ghostly whine, before looking back at the group of vigilantes.

"I can see how they could be related." She raised an eyebrow below the visor at how hopeful the groups stance became. They don't know Danny's human form, but that's the excuse they use for attack her brother? They assumed he was a clone just because he looked like the inverted image of one of them? Fat chance that she would let them anywhere near him now. "But, you attacked MY baby brother-"

"And we are very sorry about that!" Nightwing cut in but Jazz ignored it.

"The point is you attacked him. I don't care if they are related. This is MY baby brother and if that is their reaction on seeing him and handling his own ghost rogues. I will NOT allow them to be part of his life unless Phantom wants it himself."

Turning around, she pat her baby brothers head and whispered to him in ghost speech. "Common Danny, let's go. Let's visit that planetarium you wanted to see later. After that we never have to come to Gotham again, I can go to another university somewhere far away from here."

They didn't know Phantom was Danny Nightingale, neither did they know that she was Jasmine Nightingale. This would be a one-time meeting and stay that way. Her baby brother did not need people like that in his life after the falling out with their parents they had.

Intern Jazz in Arkham

It had been an easy thing for her to send her application to Arkham Asylum and get her summer internship of 6 weeks there. It would help her understand psychology more, too. Danny was very against the idea of his big sister going to Gotham! But she got him to say yes after she said she would be protected. She has the Fenton Peeler and similar, Danny wasn't sure about it and asked a few ghosts to take care of her. In return, they can go to the human world without him attacking them. + Jazz liked it in Amity Park; the true few patients and workers looked as if the Director was crazy to allow Jazz, a 16-year-old girl, to intern in Arkham. But all is well; till her last day, all was well. Then it was a massive breakout of Scarecrow and Joker. Harley made her way to Ivy to protect the young girl! Harley was 100% against her being even near Arkham! They saw her in a room in armor with a massive, flaming knight who had his sword out.

Jazz:" Fright! Release Joker and Mr. Crane now! I am not sure if they can take your horror dimension."

And now Jazz has to get Fighty to release both when people around her are totally okay with letting Joker and Scarecrow be in that dimension! This is not okay!

The door to Danny's bedroom creaked open, drawing his eyes from the homework he'd been struggling to focus on. "Hey, Danny," Sam greeted as she entered his room.

"What's up, Sam?" His attention shifted along with his body orientation.

"Why does anything have to be up?"

He looked at his clock, "Because it's almost midnight, there are no ghosts, it's a school night, and you look like...that," he gestured to her pensive expression.

"Fine. I got you a present."

Danny's brow furrowed, "A present?"

"Yeah," Sam pulled a small box from her pocket and sat it in her lap.

"Why?"

Sam tossed him the box, "Open it."

Danny raised an eyebrow at her, but otherwise did as she said. After slitting the tape holding the box closed and shimmying the tight lid from the lower portion of the jewelry box, Danny gasped, his face lit with green light. "Sam, is this...?"

"Kryptonite, yes."

"I don't...I don't need this, Sam. I'm not going to fight Superman."

"Danny, you know he's part of the Justice League and not just a cool alien, right?"

"Of course I know that!"

"You know he wants to uphold, 'The American Way,' right?"

"That was just a--"

"You don't know that! Danny, what happens when the Justice League decides to enforce the AECA?" Danny started to respond but was silenced by a harsh wave from Sam, "What happens when Superman gets the Ghost Gauntlets, the Fenton Fisher, or the Peeler? He's *Superman*! He's *you* but not a ghost! That's not even counting the rest of the League. Danny, I can't lose you."

Danny stared at the floor for a long while, resisting the urge to enfold Sam in a chilling hug. "I don't know, Sam. I don't think he'd do that," Danny shrugged lamely, "I just don't see it."

"But what if you're wrong, Danny? Can't you at least be ready for that? For me?"

Danny sighed, "Okay, Sam. For you." His bright transformation ring sprang up around him, quickly changing him to his ghost form. Sam watched with bated breath as Danny--in his suit's modified glory--tucked the kryptonite into one of his belt pouches. "Happy?"

Sam released the breath she'd apparently been holding, "Yeah," and shot forward to wrap Danny in a hug. The transformation back to Fenton didn't bother her in the slightest; her man was--if not exactly safe--a little safer than before.

Love all the DPxDC stuff I've seen flying around, and since I've not seen DP for many years, and have never interacted with DC canon at all, I think I'm totally qualified to throw another idea out there...

Love the summoning of Danny, always a great trope, but have we considered the summons has no clue what to do with a Halfa?

Like it's to summon ghosts?

How 'bout it only works while Danny's in ghost form - he can postpone any summons until it's more convenient!

Or if we feel more angst-y, he transforms because someone's in danger and immediately is dragged across the world/worlds to answer a summons - constantly worried about what's happening at home.

Or if we want to go really angsty - like the Fenton peeler or whatever the name of the thing that separated phantom and Fenton was in that one episode - his ghost half gets dragged to answer the summons and Fenton is left behind

Summary: Jason and Jazz surprise each other when their date takes a turn for the dangerous. But, hey, rogues need therapy too, right?

I had a great/terrible idea for an AU. Cyborg Jazz AU. Like she looses an arm in an accident (possibly Johnny’s fault) and then parents make her a prosthetic that looks and functions like a real arm, but has a Fenton Peeler built into it. It unfolds to shoot but her aim somehow got worse.

Lots of unnecessary suggestions from the parents about updating the targeting system or putting in a Jack-o-ninetails attatchments. Further weaponizing her arm.

Oddly enough she and Skulker get some common ground to gripe about their tech shorting out inconveniently.

“Yeah it’s all fun until I have to dislocate my shoulder to take a shower.”

LOL I know u said looks like a real arm... but I like the design of Fenton Gear XD BUT I LOVE THIS IDEA~ Can see Danny being a mother hen making Jazz wanna prove herself more~ and it being a bonding experience. Jazz probably training and working out more to compensate loosing the arm, not to look weak. LOL Just imagine she defeats Skulker just by them complaining about metal parts.. and Danny just there confused in Skulker's cage/net like.. :I hellooo still trapped. Also can see the more her parents work on the arm, the more dangerous it is around Danny til she has those parts remove, refusing to wear the arm if they dont get rid of the auto aim and ghost detect. She wanted a functioning arm, not one that will attack her brother- Can see Danny and Tuck working on it to help too~ upgrade it! AW fits in with Danny being good at machinery hc. Him just working on her arm to make it hurt her less or adjusting things her parents overlook and would over fix if they handle it. >w< Just love all the ways this could go~ And she be badass with it!

A Funny Take on Wes

You've probably seen it. There's this redhead that looks like Danny. His sole reason for existing is to expose Fenton as Phantom. Now here's the humorous take

"Just gotta get the right moment," Wes mutters to himself as he holds a camcorder to record the latest ghost fight. Before something impacts against the back of his head. "Ow, what gives?" he demands, rubbing his head and spotting a silver boomerang

Then he felt a hand grab his shoulder and pull him away. "Danny, don't you know how dangerous it is to be near Phantom fighting?" he hears Jack Fenton chewing him out. "I'm not Fenton," Wes quickly defends himself, before pointing to Phantom. "He's over there!"

"Nice try son, but the Boo-merang is keyed to you," Maddie adds

Jack nods and then pulls out what resembles a Fenton Peeler. "Hey what are you doing with that?" he all but demands before it goes off on him. "This is the Fenon Hair Dye Remover!" Jack explains as the beam fades away, leaving Phantom in the place Wes had occupied

"AHA! Wes is Phantom!" Dash exclaims

"Quick, cheese it!" came the cry of the other Phantom before he fled, causing the Wes Phantom to flee underground

Vlad plasmius headcanons?

(Mainly focusing on his ghost powers/biology hcs and how it differs from Dan, Dani, and Danny's biology because I made a couple of hcs on him here)

-He wasted at least five years trying to repress his powers out of fear.

-Comparing Halfas to (nintendo) Kirby's species, Danny is Kirby and Vlad is Meta knight. Danny has a wide variety of powers that he seemingly 'keeps forgetting' because he's still young and he and his powers are still adapting themselves to each other. He'll gain and lose out on more powers as he finds out what does and doesn't work for him while Vlad already has himself and his powers figured out and wont lose or gain any new ones. (unless a macguffin does that to him)

-Vlad has a 'ghost sense' but it works much differently than Danny's does. Where Danny's ghost sense is a cold breath, his is the ability to see ectoplasm in infrared thermal vision. This has the advantage of being able to see intangible ghosts and the drawback of having a lot more 'false positives' as people who are frequently in contact with ectoplasm (like Mr. and Mrs. OSHA Violation, pretty much anybody who works with him on a daily basis, a *lot* of Amity Parkers...) also show up when he's using his ghost-sense-vision.

-He saves energy by incorporating stray ectoplasm he can see into his ecto-blasts, shields, makeshift weapons, simple structures, and his copies.

-For the most part, he can't tell the difference between ghost powers unique to him and ghost powers any ghost can use.

-The exception to this is one power Vlad himself has, hates, and fears to the point where he will only use it if an outside force controls his body and makes him do it. He did not name this ability, but the way it works is that he 'leeches' life out of his opponent victim via infecting them with a ghostly virus and restores his own health to an extent in the process. Exactly as he did on his first deathbed: hurting and healing...

-If you used the Fenton Peeler on him as Plasmius, and if you used it for long enough, removing his 'main form', you'd see a form that looked like a dissected cadaver with an incredibly messed-up face (Appearance seems to be in its 30s), underneath that, a bandaged hospital patient (Appearance ranges from early 20s to early 30s), underneath that, a headless college student wearing a lab coat over a packers-colored sweater. You cannot remove more without killing him completely. He is unlikely to answer any questions about the 'reemerging head', especially if you asked him immediately after finding this out.

-His core is damaged and doesn't function properly, he's unable to use elemental abilities.

-Misinterpreting this to think that Vlad is a 'weak' halfa would be dangerous to a would-be opponent. There's no such thing as a 'weak halfa' as it requires an immense amount of strength to survive a ghost portal accident and or to survive the process of being 'born' half a human and half a ghost.

-This is more of an observation than a HC, but most of his 'vampirism' in his appearance comes from the cape, the hair, and his fangs. Looking at other parts of his ghost form: the white suit, the shiny black boots, belt, and gloves, the black triangle...

It begins to look a little...

MSA X DP: The Ultimate Enemy Chapter 18: Repaired rewind to before start ready answers tests to Teachers

Clockwork: [pressing the button on his Time Staff] Time in!

Ghost Past and Ghost Present: Used rewind!

They are surrounded for a moment by ticking clocks to rewind, then reappear in the classroom, where Danny, Sophie, and Dan's classmates are taking the C.A.T., frozen in time. Clockwork picks up the answers packets from Danny, Sophie, and Dan's desk.

Clockwork: You've given everyone else a second chance. [He switches to child form] Why not you? [He hands them the packets]

Ghost Past: Right, not what happened again. They are right.

Ghost Present: OK, they are all right fine.

Danny, Sophie, and Dan take its and Clockwork with Two Ghosts vanishes. We see the clock start to tick and everyone starts to move. Danny, Sophie, and Dan stare at Lancer, standing by his own desk with the packet in their hands, then smiles slightly.

Jerry: Hmm? They are ready to answer got to Lancer?

Lancer: Mr. Fenton, Ms. Kingsmen, Mr. Turner, is there a problem?

Danny: Um, actually Mr. Lancer, there is.

Sophie: Got here

Dan: Right, going here

Out in the hall, Jazz, Arthur, and Jane sneak up to the door with the Fenton Peelers. Looking in the window, they gasp. Danny, Sophie, and Dan approach Lancer's desk.

Danny: I, uh, found this the other day. Outside the Nasty Burger. [he slides the answer packet across the desk]

Lancer: [picking its ups] Hm. The seal is broken.

Danny: Yeah. I know. A-and, I'm sorry. I couldn't stop myself from looking at the answers. But I'm not a cheater! And I never will be!

Sophie: I never used cheat! Right, I'm never lied!

Dan: I'm not a cheater! I was never used to this!

Out in the hall, Jazz, Arthur, and Jane smile.

Lancer: Well, they'll have a chance to prove that when they take the make-up test next week, now won't they?

Danny: Really?

Sophie: True?

Dan: Right, sure

Lancer: You'll have plenty of time to study for your make-up test in detention. But for now...

They gestures to the door. Outside, Jazz, Arthur and Jane yelps and ducks away.
