However I do not want to go to a gay bar because I do not, nor will I ever, drink alcohol. I do not particularly want to be around drunks.

So instead of a gay bar, I propose a Queer Cat Cafe.

Hypoallergenic cats ofc

There's a section of the cafe where the cats can't go if you don't want cats near you. That section is the library.

There are lil pride flags everywhere, even the obscure ones.

They sell pride pins for £1.50ish each at the counter.

There are LED lights.

It's autism friendly, lights can be toned down if needed and everything is neatly spaced out

my gender is someone gave me a bowl of raisin bran and my brother a bowl of cheerios, and I like raisin bran just fine, but if they'd asked what I wanted I might have picked cheerios? But I'm already a couple bites into the raisin bran and it seems like an awful fuss to switch to cheerios now, and while I've heard that some people prefer lucky charms or cinnamon toast crunch, and those do seem super fun...I'm not really willing to put in the effort of explaining my breakfast choices to people who think that everyone should just be eating raisin bran or cheerios and nothing else, especially when I don't really care if I'm eating raisin bran or cinnamon toast crunch or lucky charms or cheerios, though I do think everyone should eat whatever cereal they want without being bothered about it.

I just realized there are only 4 (including today) more days left of pride month 😭🥺 and I am going to miss all the stores (or at least some) selling pride merch that some of it looks ugly to try and convince us to buy stuff, because I like laughing at it. headcanon that laios is super agender. like he’s fine with he pronouns but also she pronouns but also they pronouns but also literally anything, because gender means nothing to him. he’s never thought about it and doesn’t really identify with it in a meaningful way. like if he had to describe his gender to someone he would say like “biological male” because he has no associations to gender other than his genitals/sex. like is he a Man? not really. he’s Laios

Need, need, need people to understand (and I mean this in a non-negative tone) that pronouns are not 1 to 1 with gender identity all of the time.

My being non-binary isn't negated if I only use she/her pronouns, someone using they/them doesn't mean they aren't still a man if they identify as one, and so on and so forth. I can be a man and only want masculine address but also use he/she/they, someone can be agender but have specific gendered pronouns they want to be referred by.

You can have whatever pronouns you like and whether that matches the common ideas of your gender and presentation or not doesn't invalidate your identity.

She/her doesn't always mean female, he/him doesn't always mean male, and they/them doesn't always mean non-binary.
