Dan absolutely despised his parole at first, but honestly this is a blast. Sure, he’s stuck in the form of a cat, a kitten even, but he’d found an absolutely wonderful companion. Partner. Ally? Baby Chaos Lord? He’d work on it. 

Klarion is just happy to have found such a great familiar, he even named them Teekl II, which is a great name thank you very much hero-babies! So now he has two Teekl familiars, and Teekl II always gets so gleeful whenever they successfully pull a prank! He even has his own fire magic which is so fun! 

Danny is not happy to get thrown into another world, stuck as a kitten. He’s also not pleased to have found a sick baby liminal, but fine. If this is what he’s supposed to deal with then he’ll deal with it! Even if he has to be a familiar for a teeny tiny bit of time. It’s fine, and the dude has a pocket he can peek out of on his coat. 

Jason has no idea where this kitten came from but the Pit is being surprisingly chill about it. Something about a baby? Whatever, he’s made the furball a little matching outfit and they like to sit in his pockets and peer out. No idea how Cat Hood is making the shadows all spooky now or why the eyes went from blue to green, but whatever. 

Ellie is utterly delighted in this situation. She was just wandering, but now she’s a lil fluffy kitten, and ended up landing on this kid’s head. This magic kid’s head! He even has a talking tiger friend too! So cool! She’s definitely sticking with him! This will be so fun!

Billy was worried about making sure the kitten got food, she’s so tiny! Mr Tawny is a big help though, and apparently she’s his familiar now that he’s given her a mortal name? He doesn’t fully understand but apparently she’s connected to his magic now, if the shouts from the gods are anything to go by. Look, an electric cat is cool. Pakhet is amazing, and Fawcet thinks it’s adorable that Marvel has a kitten clinging to his shoulder

Jason being the easiest kid is super funny. Bruce looking at Jason and remembering Dick at 18: “we can work through this. He’ll come around if I don’t give up on.”

Having Dick as the rambunctious, feral, and unhinged first child must've given him SO much whiplash once Jason entered the picture. Lil guy just vibed in his own world. Just reading books and doing schoolwork. Baby Jason hurt nobody.

Bruce will just be going over the ground rules of the manor, remembering all the chaos Dick brought upon the household.

Bruce will just come home from a long day of work. He's tired and just wants a nice, quiet evening, but he's subconsciously psyching himself up to prepare himself for the chaos he'll witness once he enters the manor

but then Jason's just quietly doing his own thing, maybe even helping Alfred with some chores, reading, or just lounging about in the manor. In general, just causing no trouble and Bruce just turns to Alfred, all worried like, "Is he sick? I don't think children are supposed to behave this way."

“Ryo, do you love me?” you say teasingly, lifting your head from his chest to meet his eyes. 

He responds with a huff, a mixture of irritation and affection.  “Of course I do, brat. Why else do you think we're together?” 

“But will you feel the same after a decade?” you questioned, still carrying that teasing voice.“or even more?”

He knew that during times like this, you weren’t jesting. He knows you like the back of his hand and sometimes it surprises him that your brain can’t comprehend how much he loves you. 

“I’m not sure, Y/N.” he admits, his voice gone soft.  “I’m not sure if I can answer that.”

Silence engulfs the both of you and in every moment that passes, you suddenly feel bare and vulnerable right in front of him. Your disappointment is evident as you attempt to give him a smile. “well if that’s the case—” 

Before you can finish your sentence, Sukuna playfully flicks your forehead, a warm smile graces his lips. He grins even wider when you pout at him.  

“What I do know,” He continues, entwining his fingers with yours. “is that I’ll choose you.”

He didn’t say anything more, prompting to run his hands comfortingly along your back. But a smirk adorned his face when you looked at him with a quizzical expression, perplexed.  “What do you think of me? I don’t just rely on mere feelings.” 

An amused laugh escapes him when you continue to stare at him, urging him to fully spell it out for you. 

“I don’t love you just because I feel that I do. I love you because I choose to. I choose you all the time, Y/N. Despite whatever shitty situations that would happen to us for the next decade. I love you, I do. Hell, I can’t even spend an entire week without seeing your dumb face. How else would I manage, doll?” 

A smile finds its way to your face and he suddenly feels like he can breathe again. His love for you is gnawing at his ice cold exterior, and with your warmth, he would burn the entire world for you if you asked him to. But he won’t say that to your face, of course. 

“Sooo," you teased him, pointing at his sturdy chest.  “ Are you saying you’re gonna choose to be down bad for me even after a decade?”

"Shut up." Sukuna grumbles, rolling his eyes— his attempt at nonchalance betrayed by the subtle warmth in his gaze, reserved just for you. 

Without warning, he puts you on your back with a playful force, making you squeal in response. He hovers above you and presses his lips against yours. 

Sukuna isn’t good with words— yet he tries for you.
