Dorm Leaders with an s/o who has never received a valentines gift

- Riddle would honestly be familiar with this feeling, any valentines he would have been given would have been taken by his mother.

- He tries his best, asking Trey and Cater for help on what kind of things to get his S/O, eventually deciding to get a bouquet of his s/o's favorite flowers, and a self made tart, without any oyster sauce.

Riddle had been waiting at the small, white gazebo in the Heartslabyul garden, having invited his s/o for a tea party with just the two of them. - Definitely went in thinking that he would be completely fine, but began to panic when he learns that the s/o never had a valentine who asked them out or gave them something. Azul then begins to plan the best sea themed chocolates, using Monstro Lounge's kitchen to make the chocolates and molds.

- Azul probably adds some extra coins he had on hand, like the chocolate coin things with some nice shells to surround the chocolates, putting it all in a special edition Monstro lounge valentines box.

Azul nervously looked to his s/o, watching them enter the office as he kept the box hidden, staring them down until he finally mustered the courage, speaking "Prefect, I know you aren't familiar with this sort of thing, but please accept this valentines. I hope you accept my offer of being your Valentine aswell."

- This man would immediately make such a big deal out of the situation. Expect a bunch of gifts as soon as the door is open. Kalim would go all out, making Jamil stressed and his S/o buried in gifts

- Kalim spends all his time getting gifts, making cards, and even preparing a special party just for his S/o. Of course Kalim tries to make some candies, but Jamil intervenes once he realized what Kalim was doing.

As S/O opened the door to ramshackle, a large amount of gifts fell through, nearly covering them completely, while Kalim laughed, entering the dorm, kneeling next to his S/O, a few small bandages on his fingers from cooking incidents before Jamil's intervention. - He has Rook do some recon (Stalking) so he can learn of things that his S/O likes or is interested in. Vil would even avoid some modeling gigs just to focus on the project, wanting it to be absolutely perfect.

Vil had just finished the gift that he made, and began his walk to his S/O's decrepit dorm, confident that his S/O would like the gift. Soon he arrived and opened waited for his partner. - After a long time of idea searching, he eventually decides to try with his own flair to it. He puts a bunch of game arts and chocolates in a goodie bag, along with a few coupons for a video game store.

I have encyclopedias from the 1970's that are broken and falling apart. I want to get rid of them but I don't know how and they belonged to a now dead family member do I feel like I'm disrespecting them by getting rid of them. The fact I have autism and adhd which causes me to form emotional attachments to everything does not help the guilt complex.

I'm going to wax a little poetic here because my animism intersects with memory objects and because I'm the family archivist and keeper of ephemera.

Books, papers, cards, dried flowers... will all turn into dust eventually. I have photos from WW1 that are discolored from animal glue. I have war ration stamps from WW2 that have come loose from their backing paper because the paper itself is crumbling.

Your encyclopedias hold memories, but they are not memories. They are paper.

When my grandmother saved things, she did a wide range- often it was clippings from the newspaper, but sometimes the entire newspaper was saved. Some it makes sense- like the paper from the date we entered the war. Other times... she saved whole papers but we're not sure why. We think it was because they were important dates like her graduation date, but we're not sure.

It tells a story, but we're not sure what the story is. It's hard for me to tell where the soul of it is and it tells me less about my grandma than I would like. Not the way that the valentine's from grandpa or postcards from France tell a clear story. Easy to find the soul in it.

If you can find it in your heart to do so, I might suggest taking scissors to the encyclopedias and cutting out articles that remind you of that person. Something they loved to talk about, something attached to the memory of them. Or if they made notes in the margins, that's a favorite.

Use acid free glues and papers to make a scrapbook from these articles. They will be easier to preserve as small items than as whole books and this tells the story of the person you remember. This has their soul, which the books house. When you think you've made so etching that reflects them, you can throw them out because the soul isnt there anymore- it's in the scrapbook, and in the time you spent making it.

Depending on what they're made of, I believe you can put them through regular recycling. Or you can deconstruct them further for other projects.

I understand if you don't want to do this. It's a big step, it's quite a bit of work, and it can be emotionally hard. But I really feel like my time going through their scrapbooks has made me feel closer to them. And I think that if you can make their story out of articles about this person, then further down the line you can more easily tell their story and bring them back for a little while.

He blinked and looked at his wife with a smile. “Don’t worry… I’m okay. Just feeling overprotective”. That’s when Kayleigh’s eyes started sparkling. “Aww~! I love it when you turn into a protective Papa~…”, she said to him with a smile. She blushed and whispered, “Are you sure, you don’t want another baby?” He shivered and said, “I’ll think about it… you sexy, sexy thing~”. Beelzebub leaned over to kiss his wife, but then Lilith fell to the ground. “Lily!!!” Beelzebub picked her up and his eyes widened in shock. “Mandrake?! Again?!”

At the hospital, Lilith was growling at the Doctor with pure rage. The red ‘XI XI XI’ in her eyes was glowing as tears ran down her cheeks. She didn’t want it. Not the shot. Not now. Not ever. “Your highness, can you please raise your bottom?” “No! I don’t want it! Leave me alone!!!”, she shouted. The Doctor sighed, saying, “You’ve had too much mandrake. You need to take it, Princess”. She glared at him and shook her head as she said, “I refuse to take that fucking nasty thing!!!”

The Doctor walked out and said, “The Princess isn’t letting me inject her. One of you will have to do it. I’m sorry, but your daughter is being difficult”. Beelzebub sighed and grabbed the injection. “Sweetheart?” “I’ll do it. I know what it’s like for her. All I can do is make her feel comfortable. Have you got her plushie?” His wife looked shocked but she smiled. “Of course I do”.

“Wish me luck…”.

Beelzebub walked in with a pink Devil plushie and he walked over to look at her. “Hey… I’m scared of shots too, ya know?” Lilith’s eyes widened. “Really?” “Yeah. I don’t like ‘em. The only person I ever let inject me is your Mom. That’s how much I love and trust her. Can you trust me?”, he asked. Lilith hugged the plushie as she nodded slowly. “O-Okay Daddy…! I trust you…”.

He smiled and held her hand, letting her squeeze his hand as he aimed the injection near her thigh. But as soon as it pricked her, she growled and started to cry in pain. Beelzebub rubbed her back, soothing her as she cried into a pillow. “I-It hurts!” “I know. I know…”. Once it was over, he pulled the needle out gently, so he didn’t cause her anymore pain. “Daddy… I… didn’t like that…!”, she whimpered. He sighed and got in the bed, letting his daughter lean on him as she cried. “I know, cupcake. Shhhh… it’s okay. Just go to sleep…”.

At home, Lilith stayed in her bedroom and Beelzebub sighed when Kayleigh hugged his arm. “Why do you think she hates needles?” He shook his head before smirking. “Maybe because she’s a Daddy’s Girl!” “Oh yeah? Sure, okay. Let’s put that to the test, shall we?”

“What happened to us making a baby~?”

“Oh~? You naughty Devil~!”

“Mom! Dad! Please… SHUT UP!!!”

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi everyone :) I have missed you all so much! I have been kicking myself these last two years for being gone for so long. Not only did I feel like I was letting y'all down, I felt like I was letting myself down. Writing is my biggest passion, and I felt like I abandoned it, and you. For context, before I left, I had Covid pretty bad, and am now suffering from long-term effects with my health because of it (that are thankfully more under control now). After having Covid I left a toxic relationship to unwittingly enter another, even more toxic and controlling relationship (whew is that a story!) and I learned that I have ADHD! (How fun is that!)

Anyway, to everyone that's still following me,

I have been working on some stuff for the last few months that I am so excited to share with y'all!

A few hours after this post will be a little Valentine's Day fluff fic to come out. Then in the coming weeks, I have a song inspired DeanxReader fic to be coming out labeled If You're Gonna Lie, and the following requests (under the read more with snippets of the fic) ready right now, to be queued. The requests will be coming out first, and then my own idea fics.

"Yes! Why does everyone keep asking me if I'm okay!" she growls, "first my dad, then John, now you!" She throws her hand onto her stomach to try to push away the pain. Sam is taken aback by this, and that's when he notices that her hand is held tightly on her stomach. Suddenly, it all makes sense. Sam is confident that this isn't Y/N, that Y/N is in there somewhere, fighting to be free from whatever demon is possessing her.

I hear my name in Dean's voice from a distance, but I'm surrounded by total darkness. I try so hard with all of my might to tell him I'm here, that it's okay, but the words don't come. Just as it takes all of my strength to open my eyes, but they burn. Everything burns. I don't even try to suppress the scream that bellows out of me. Taking as deep of a breath as I can, I'm scared for myself when it sounds and feels like I'm breathing a water and air mixture. "What's happening?" I manage to say, but Dean puts a finger to my lips. "No, no," he soothes, "no, just don't talk. It's okay," he says so gently, and as he maneuvers me into his lap I cry out in agonizing pain. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry," he says, then his voice switches into a shaky, fear filled yell for Castiel that hurts my heart almost as much as my wound hurts.

Y/N always felt like she had big shoes to fill, being third born after two boys. She never really formed a bond with John like the eldest Winchester had, despite her best efforts to impress the man. Her next role model was Dean, who became more of a father to her than John ever could be.  Up until her eleventh birthday Dean did her hair into pigtails, partly because he didn’t know how to do any other hair style, but mostly because he thought it was the cutest on her. He’d pack her and Sam’s lunch with snacks he’d bought from vending machines and even pretend to take her on hunts because he knew how eager she was to be just like him.  When she wasn’t learning about monsters and guns with Dean, she was spending her time with Sam. He’d help her with her homework, or play board and card games. They had as much in common as Y/N and Dean, neither Sam nor Y/N got along with John, and neither really knew their mothers. 

Speaking of requests, I'll leave them open for now but I can't promise all will be fulfilled as I try to get my groove. My schedule as I get back into things, I think, will be one fic every other week.

I also updated my master lists and will be posting them later today, to then put them all in one master master list lol

Descriptions Under Cut!

apologizes to Suzu's creator but i'm not gonna post the full rant here. However if they make it to round two i WILL include most of it. i loved looking at it though!

Suzu:

name is stolen from a different character of mine completely unrelated to our life, so the joke doesn't work as well here. i just like the name regardless of it being a bit nonsensical and the "suzy" nickname it leads to. we only have a little bit of the prologue to go off of, so most of this is just my sort of headcanon "plan" for the character (hence the lack of detail the further into the story we go).

short character card style bio: Perhaps not the most adaptable kid in Golden Grove, Suzu prefers the security of the fantasy worlds he dreams up than the uncertainties of other people. Still, he insists on being treated just like anybody else - perhaps to his own detriment when he needs a bit of extra help. Underneath his quiet demeanor and need for stability lie a loyal friend who will accept you no matter who you are. All he needs to let this side of him blossom is for somebody to offer him the same luxury.

Valentin is a snow kid, they grew up in a ski station and loves mountains. Moving from her old town felt weird but regardless he decided to become the prettiest kid of all the town. They have a long history of complicated relationships with being confortable with their gender with the pressure of beauty standard. She’s a coquette but very extrovert kid who loves to listen about her friend’s hobbies and see in beauty in everyone and everything.
