These 23 seconds of local news from central Italy have literally become my favorite movie therefore I gave it English captions so that it could be shared with the rest of the world
Hey y'all- we have officially launched World Gone Wrong! It would mean a ton to me if you would go check out this show- we've have been pouring our heart and soul into it over the past six months.
You can listen on Apple Podcasts or Spotify, or you can search "world gone wrong" wherever you listen to podcasts.
MOST IMPORTANTLY- go tell your friends to listen, if you think they'd like the show~
The show is an unapologetic response to the feeling of "every day there is a new disaster"- except in this fictionalized version, the disasters we're dealing with are werewolves, alien body snatchers, time distortions, etc- basically every episode of The X-Files and Supernatural happening at the same time. It's also a celebration of the importance of deep, connected friendships- something we feel doesn't get enough prominence in media.
The show stars Michael Turrentine and Hilary Williams- and the first chapter was written by Jessica Best (@idiopathicsmile), and produced and created by Eleanor Hyde and Jeffrey Nils Gardner (@euripidesredux) ~ We're so ABSURDLY lucky to get to work with these wonderful artists- it's been an absolute joy so far.
ALSO- we're throwing a party to celebrate! Saturday, April 6 at 8pm! Whiskey Girl Tavern in Andersonville- we'll have the band who played our theme song (Olivia and the Lovers) doing a set, and we'd love to see you!

can we talk about the teamwork podcasters have built??? collaboration is genuinely everywhere in this space—once you've listened to three or four podcasts, you've probably heard the creators of at least four more podcasts, and then in turn will discover other shows from those podcasts, with new voices (alongside creators you're already familiar with!) sure, it's by design, & small shows need to support one another to survive, but idk, i just have such an appreciation for the podcasting community :,)
this is absolutely just another case of “I like [x thing], I like phil. what if phil did [x thing]” but. I like audio drama podcasts, I like phil. what if phil did audio drama podcasts
"Someone shot Clover. But Clover’s still alive. Luck. Heels. And a bridge by the river. She searches for her Somewhere on the perilous road to Nowhere."

This was inspired by the tag challenge that went around in late 2020-early 2021 where authors would record themselves talking about their fics, and we’d get these very cool podcast-like insights into their writing process and all the TMI behind our favourite stories!
Rules:
Pick a question (or a few) from the list below and ask about the “behind the fic” that you’ve been curious about. Answers will be recorded, using a recording medium of choice (must be accessible to tumblr users)!
Questions:
🩷what inspired you to write this?
🩵why did you write this?
🤍where did you write this?
❤️what is your favourite line?
💙how long did it take you to write this?
💜what is your favourite thing about it?
🧡does it have a soundtrack? is there music you had in mind when writing this?
Hey! If you're enjoying World Gone Wrong- would you help us make sure we can keep making it?
There are lots of ways you can do that.
FIRST: Tell your friends about the show? It's an old saw, but- word of mouth is absolutely our best way of reaching new folks. Send them a link to the first episode, or post about the show on your feed!
SECOND: we have a membership program that allows you to directly support us as artists- ensuring we can keep producing the show. Just $5/month will get you ad-free feeds for all of our shows, plus behind-the-scenes bonus eps and more.
It's a HARD time to be an independent podcast producer. Your monthly support here makes a HUGE difference with what kinds of risks we can take with our art- we appreciate it so, so much.
