he's very easygoing in a relationship! it works well for the two of you. because of this, he won't often try to push you past your comfort zone in terms of what you like. as long as you're alright with his lifestyle, he's not going to judge yours

in terms of romance:

he loves physical affection, whether it's an arm around your shoulders or a hand slipped into your back pocket or just cuddling together to watch the clouds pass. he's very casual about it, but there's rarely a moment he isn't at least leaning into your side when you're together

going along w this, lots of kisses when you're together. pressed to your cheek or temple casually, pecks when you're in company, peppering your neck when you're alone

little gifts are frequent. stones and crystals and herbs he thinks you could use if you seem stressed, offered meditation or massage when he notices a certain line of tension in your shoulders, etc. he's very attentive to little tells in your expression, even if he may not seem it, and he'll always try to make you feel better.

he never forgets important dates, whether it's your birthday or anniversary. he doesn't go big for them, though, rather preferring a few genuine gifts and time spent together over lavish extravagances.

he's very spontaneous with dates! he's the type that will just show up one afternoon to ask you for a walk or just to chill somewhere. dates are never super fancy, he just enjoys being with you.

some general headcanons abt ben frm coral island

hes 38 years old, voice headcanon is an early 90s jerry cantrell from alice in chains (ex 1) (ex 2). he's bisexual with no lean eitherway.

on that, before he moved to coral island he played alot of music. he still plays a bit of acoustic guitar just not in public like theo does. he can definitely play me and bobby mcgee for the farmer lol.

i think he was raised by family who were into the countercultural (hippie) movements in the 60s-70s and being raised in that stuck with him.

he moved to the island to get away from a busy city life when he was 35 and he doesnt really visit his family often. he likes farm animals so much be he never got to see many before he moved to coral island.

he traveled a bit when he was younger and visited coral island and felt very connected to it which is why he came back as an adult.

if the farmer gave him crystals from the mines, he'd instantly fall in love. he cant go in himself but he buys crystals from rafael and pablo. this is canon already but he uses them for healing properties. has done tons of research on what crystals are best for what problem.

he loves leaving dorky notes for the farmer, when he lets them sleep in he'll do the farm work and leave them a cute note.

this is such a delight of a question! what a delightful little thought experiment. thinking about a scenario where uncle ben was still around when aunt may finds out peter is spider-man – when she finds peter's tights, when he was seventeen.

i think there's no way at all that aunt may wouldn't have told uncle ben. she definitely would have told him. i don't think uncle ben would've been observant enough to figure it out by himself, but – aunt may, she's smart. she figures it out.

ben's old-fashioned, a bit square (like peter), and not very well-informed. he worries a lot about peter. worries about him getting into trouble. sees his unusual behaviour, and meets it with soft concern. he doesn't understand it all, he doesn't understand the youth. but he has a desire to embrace peter and attempt to understand him. he worries about him a lot.

may - may's always been the cool parent. she's encouraging, and very easy about this sort of thing. i think she has a lot of trust in peter. maybe more than she should. she is well-informed, and smart, and she recognises behaviours in peter and kind of feels like it's nothing to worry about. she knows peter's doing all the important exploration that he needs to do, and he'll do it at his own time. she thinks peter can handle it.

(of course peter could not handle it.)

i think that's why aunt may didn't confront peter about spider-man. i think she's of the feeling that peter would come out to her when he's ready to. but - she'd definitely tell ben. and if uncle ben knew - well, oh. he would be worried out of his mind.

god bless, it would come out of such a place of concern. and he'd talk to peter. in the most awkward way a father could give his son the talk.

I really would love if the next three seasons of Bridgerton are ALL queer. Just to really see the homophobes cry. (And of course, because I’m queer and I’d enjoy it!)

Either Sophie is genderbent or she’s a bisexual/pansexual woman and their season involves her and Ben bonding over both being queer and into multiple genders, and maybe they’re polyamorous, because it seems like Ben could be for sure.

Then Francesca gets a whole season (spoiler) grieving and falling for Michaela.

During Fran’s season, we see Eloise writing a lot of letters… and in her season, it turns out Sir Phillip doesn’t know how to flirt, so he gets his new neighbor in the country to help him with writing letters… and that’s how Cressida Cowper ends up pulling a Cyrano de Bergerac and falling in love with Eloise (again) through the letters she’s writing under the name of Phillip! How will she ever tell Eloise the truth? And is Eloise falling in love with her as well? (Yes.)

These are the next three seasons in my heart.

Danmei Fanfic Nightclub ♡

A.k.a Friday Night Danmei (cos it sounds better)

So how it would work is that fanfic writer blogs that want to take part could take requests (like a dj) based on who/what they write e.g. you could request smutty hualian/wangxian/ranwan drabbles from me (Ximang pending).

Obviously it would only be drabbles like 500 words max. You can't request someone write you a novel 😜

I'm thinking I could make my pinned post a list of all the blogs that want to take part as a base for people to come and bounce off wherever they fancy. Also you can tap in/out whenever you want. You don't have to write drabbles every week.

Other fun things to do at the club would be to share snippets of current wips, promote fics that you've read and enjoyed, or promote your own works. Share headcanons/fic ideas or fans of work could send asks with questions about fics they are enjoying. And everything would be tagged #fridaynightdanmei so you could track everyone's shenanigans.

Also run times for when the club opens and closes e.g. mine would be 7pm - Midnight. People could set their own times and depending on the amount of time zones in play, it could end up being a whole day event. Every week ♡

Although, since it's a club, I will say, you gotta be 21+ (legal to drink in multiple countries) to play.

Basically, it's a fanfic themed danmei nightclub without leaving your house. Iconic.

Unfortunately, things are not going well; many students, including teenagers, school staff, mayors, and teachers, are being beaten. This is not democracy. This is not freedom of thought. Faced with a genocide, we should feel horrified, but that's not happening.

Meanwhile, we continue to protest, despite the fear that makes us tremble—today (23.02.2024), many ended up in the hospital, a girl was hit in the eye, and many others in the head.

It's scary just to leave the house. But Italians continue to protest because we have a history that cannot be forgotten.

Read Scott Pilgrim recently and like. Why did Bryan Lee O'Malley give Scott a social circle consisting almost entirely of women and gay men? Like, Scott is supposed to be a straight dude but he has literally two straight dude friends and one of them later turns out to be gay. It's not even like this is some accident of how the supporting cast happened to shake out either, Scott explicitly says that all his friends in high school were girls. This is a deliberate characterization choice and like... why?

thinking abt ben comforting his partner whos maybe a little down or something like that and he ends up leaving different crystals around their house to try to help. black obsidian in the doorway to prevent negative energy from entering, amethyst in their bedroom for emotional protection. he makes them tea with st johns wort in it because it benefits mental health. subtle things that arent going to fix them but may help them feel a little better.

You know what? Imma do all of them. Mainly because they are mostly similar XD

Betty Locera: She definitely wants to get a dog one day. She and her family had a couple of dogs that are old good boys now. Betty hasn't really gotten around to it as she's trying to establish herself and her business in the isles. And when she adopted Flower, she decided it was best to focus on her rather than trying to get a pet. I can see a year or two later though, Betty takes Flower with her to the pound to get a dog. Boyyo needs a buddy ^^

Huff Bad: I need to do more for my boy. Puff needs her twin brother! Hm... I can see Huff being the kind of kid who would gather different sizes of snails, slugs and worms to make little 'families' (so basically me XD). He definitely would have tried to keep a pet worm. As he gets older, I think he would invest in an ant farm or something. He just thinks they're really cool. How does Puff feel about her brothers 'gross' interests?

Sketch Quinn: No. They know they aren't exactly in the best position to have a pet. They already are worried about not being there enough for Rooty. But that's ok. They're satisfied with the pigeons on their window sill... Not to mention the fricken rat and roach Rooty brings home 😭

Prism: She has her eatier friend Mercedes. Does that count? XD If not... I don't think so. She has her dad/mento Owl, her eatier friend, and the rest of the wildlife of the Night Dimension. I think shes pretty satisfied with not having her own pet ^^ (would Audaci feel the same way?)

Ben Cottontail: He had a pet goldfish as a kid. But now, as an adult, he's more focused on his garden to get another fish.

Henry Foxworth: He does really like chickens, but he's given up hope of having his own chicken farm by now... But he will break into other peoples' farms just to hang out with the chickens. He won't steal one, though. He knows he can't take care of an animal on the streets.

Moony Wolf: He has his bunny cake, who he loves and spoils ^^ he actually adopted Cake shortly before he and Poppy started dating. Since Cake is more social, he introduced Poppy to her just a few dates in. Poppy fell in love, and now she's kind of like a mother to Cake, too. Even after they've split up, she'll still petsit for Moony when she can and gives Moony advice on how to care for rabbits whenever he needs it ^^

Poppy O'Hare: She doesn't have a pet, but she wouldn't mind one. She definitely needs an emotional support animal. Poppy would love to get a tarantula. Or a duck. She loves ducks ^^ (nobody tell her what ducks are like in the human world-)

Shiny Weasel: She definitely wants a ferret or a cat! She needs a fluffy buddy. Though she feeds the cats in her neighborhood and gives them her own names, even if they have a collar and name tag. So for now, she's satisfied with just her little entourage of kitties XD ^^

Terry Ratt. T: Actually, yes! He has a corn snake he named Louie. It may not be a cute or punny name, but he felt like that suited him. One time, he invited Shiny over to his apartment to meet Louie, and that woman now catches the mice her feline friends don't hunt and offers them to Louie ^^

Heyy, could you write some headcanons for the everyday life with the creepypastas? If not, that's totally fine!! :)

Yup I can

Every day life with the creepys is...weird

Well the day starts simple, everyone wakes up, except those who sleep through the day or anyone who was at missions during the night

They eat breakfast with you, probably making jokes, slender keeps a eye on everyone while he eats, (+ everyone has their own personal type of breakfast)

And after that, they all head to their jobs, EJ to the doctor room with nurse Ann and doctor smiley, Jeff goes to his daily missions and really everyone does why they need

Free off days are very normal, since the creepys just kill really bad people and they do request for zalgo

And when is time to have food in the middle of the day normally everyone does their food

After that they have time off, maybe you can hang out with Toby and Brian, those two are always in their rooms (i have a headcanon for everyone's room, you can ask about those)

And finally when is night they all eat dinner with you, normal creepypasta things but if you got close with them prepare

Because through the night toby will ask if is okay to cuddle with you (platonic or romantic, you decide)

And I'm not even halfway through what they do when is your birthday or someone else, they prepare a HUGE party, with your favorite food, your favorite flavor of cake and everything

If you got close to Jeff or Ben these two are going to flirt with you non stop (jokes aside yeah they will) just so sweet what you do, if you flirt back Jeff is going to make the most sexual joke you can imagine and with Ben well he's broken, and if you blush they will continue

And of course Nina and Jane are the mom friends, oh these two care so much about you
