im going crazy thinking about my idea for a cod women roller derby au

i play roller derby and i literally just finished practice so its fresh in my brain rn

also theyre all on the same team because i want them to be besties ok

laswell is the captain of the glam grenades (yes i know the name is corny, derby team names usually are lmaoo), and her wife coaches the corresponding junior team. laswell’s derby name is watcher, and her number is 01. she usually plays as a blocker, but she’ll pivot sometimes.

farah is almost solely a jammer. her derby name is farah scare-‘em (which again, i know its corny but all derby names are 😭). she’s a speed DEMON, and she’s insane at jumps. if she’s jamming against you, you’re barely even gonna land a hit on her. she’s jumping around on her toe stops and squeezing around blockers like she’s dancing. alex goes to all of the team’s practices and bouts, and he’s practically drooling the whole time like “holy shit thats my badass girlfriend”

valeria is usually a pivot. her name is slammin’ scorpion (referencing that one line where alejandro calls her a scorpion 🤭), and when i say slammin, i mean it. shes one of those blockers that gets penalties constantly. she is VICIOUS. she send jammers flying when she hits them. she has a lot of pent up anger, ok? god forbid a woman has hobbies.

roze is a blocker for sure. she’s sturdy as hell and it takes a lot to take her down. her derby name is ragin’ roze and shes a bad bitchhhh!!! i like to think shes pretty tall, so sneaking around her is a no go with those long legs. she also seems like the type to manhandle her teammates a lot. like if the jammer is moving to the opposite side, shes yelling “out!” and just yanking the other blockers over.

callisto is a blocker too. she prefers to play as a point because she’s a control freak, and while she trusts her teammates, she prefers to be able to see the jammer. this is a really stupid joke but i think it would be funny if her derby name was lady liberty because she’s from france and moved to the US lmaoo

i feel like stiletto’s derby name would just be stiletto. its cool enough on its own lmao. she also gives blocker to me, and i feel like shes the type to get penalties a lot and then get insubordination penalties for giving the refs sass.

nova feels like a jack of all trades to me. i think her derby name would be nova, and i feel like she would be one of those players that just throws caution to the wind and charges in with no hesitation.

kleo is greek and i also imagine her to be pretty tall, so i think her derby name would be something like amazon lol. i feel like shed be a pretty aggressive blocker. she is NOT letting that jammer past, so much so that she sometimes gets stop block penalties.

Cosplay Guides - MWII Multiplayer Operators

I'm back!!!!

So these are the first batch of MWII MP operator cosplay guides. I decided to stick to the standard skins for these six, due to both popular demand and level of detail. I've found some of the other skins released for some characters to be too fantastical or not bearing enough realistic detail to be worth a breakdown.

Anyway, I've got six people here for everyone: three from SPECGRU and three for KORTAC.

I tried the poison Charkov for the first time yesterday, and I am having feels for a minor npc once more lol

On my first playthrough, I did the option where you persuade the prisoner to kill Charkov, then on my second one I had Charkov framed so that Kravchenko goes and interrogate him. So to me, Charkov was just basically a random minor antagonist soviet general.

But yesterday I tried the poison Charkov route, and it really humanized Charkov for me. The way Belikov and him talk about their past missions together (one of which apparently only the two of them survived), their country, their love for flying and Charkov's wife made it clear that they've been friends for some time. Like Charkov says: "Two old warriours, still fumbling their way through the dark"

This makes the fact that Charkov knew all along that Belikov was the mole all the more heartwrenching, and then he says "Are you going to kill me for it?" (the bunker access key). And Belikov not only kills him, but he kills him with Nova 6, which is basically one of the worst and most painful ways to kill someone. Belikov saying "I'm sorry I wasn't a better friend" was really the biggest emotional gut punch to me :(

Hello! Doing fine, I hope you are too, lovely anon 💕 I'm happy to share some headcanons for Nova and Kleo, they deserve more love from the fandom! I particularly love Nova, so I'll start with her 🥰

She's NOT flexible. Both figuratively and literally. She's very strict in her everyday life and does not allow herself a lot of distractions outside work. And she cannot touch her feet if she bends forward.

Nova gets along super well with Charly (from mw19). Both have a similar upbringing and approach to life.

I imagine her to be around 5'10 (180cm).

She's got a long history of internalised misogyny that stemmed from bullying, and was her way to cope with it. As she reached adulthood it got better, and now she'd call any girl her sister and she'll be the first to say "dump him" at any occasion (and mean it).

Now for some Kleo headcanons (I love her too ok):

She's super smart. She always had good grades, and could have aimed for the prestigious postgrad her parents wished she could benefit from, but sitting in a class never sat right (duh) with her.

Kleo has a hard time associating in a friendly way with people. She has a very 'tough' demeanour, but truth is, she's afraid of making friends she can lose on the battlefield.

Incredible sense of direction. She could be blind and be able to pinpoint where the north is still.

Knowledgeable about field medicine. She took extra courses and training in case she would ever need it: the way Kleo approaches things, or life as a whole, is very prophylactic.

The three fools' favorite pizzas HEADCANON

🐤Because I had to warm up, I'm currently writing three small fics, let's hope writing stupid shit keeps my art block in check.

(Nila Brown) Nova:

-My girl is a Cheese nerd!

-Nova LOVES her food dumped in hot cheese.

-Creamy cheese, aged cheddar, Alpine styled cheese, fresh goat cheese, blue cheese...

-As it comes to no surprise, she adores four cheese pizza.

-She adores the bloody thing so much she could live out of it.

-One time the boys cooked her a cake for her birthday that resembled a hyperrealistic four cheese pizza. It took them HOURS and many failed tries but the finished pizza was awesome, Gus even teared up at his their masterpiece.

-Nila cried, (because it wasn't a real pizza but the boys don't need to know that).

(Enzo Reyes)Reyes:

-He's a wild guy with the weirdest of tastes.

-Enzo is one hot-headed motherfucker so centered on being different and reject any kind of popular taste he was willing to try Hawaiian pizza.

-Reyes has a sweet tooth AND adores to reject popular tendencies. So you bet your sweet ass he's a Hawaiian pizza guy.

-(Don't you ever fight Reyes on this unless you want to get beaten up, please)

-At first Enzo despised it but his hot headed nature made him force himself to eat the pizza as much as he needed to start liking it. (First time he forced himself to finish the whole thing he actually puked but thank God he was eating it home alone so no one saw the humiliation in his eyes).

-Even if he went through hell and back to enjoy the fucking thing he loves this pizza and despises anyone who hasn't tried it and dares to talk badly about it.

-Who am I kidding. Try it or not he will hate you if you don't share his opinion on this pizza.

(Gustavo Rodríguez) Gus:

-likes Hawaiian pizza like Reyes.

-Actually, this man could eat pretty much anything on his plate, even the grossest thing you could think about.

-So much for being his family's best cook! Gus loves to experiment with flavours and textures in every plate he makes.

-He finds Hawaiian pizza interesting, though his favorite one must be pepperoni.

-Gus has always been a hamburger guy, but if he had to pick one it would totally be Pepperoni pizza.

-Add some jalapeños to the pepperoni pizza and you'll have him eating it at the palm of your hand like a puppy dog with a treat.

-Seriously, he loves them spicy jalapeños with his pepperoni.

-Gus found out his unconditional love for jalapeño-pepperoni pizza when his little niece accidentally dropped an entire jar of jalapeños on his slice.

-Since then his life and his pizza have been spicier and tastier.
