StephCass is a special case to me because normally I really like ‘evil power couple au’ stuff for ships but I feel you need to jump through many hoops to make that work for CassSteph.

But… imagining Rouge ‘gone too far’ AU where Cass decides the war Batman is waging isn’t enough. The fact she’s loyal to the symbol first, and what it represents. Some kind of ‘Cass takes control of the government system because she learns about systematic oppression and how it causes crime and violence and goes hm. Time to fix the problem’

She doesn’t care about laws, she just decides it’s time to stop crime now :)

Then we take Tseph at her most ostracized, at her most angry at the system for how they handled her father, the most angry at how her vigilante career has gone. She sees Cass going rouge, the bats starting to dismiss her methods, and she sees someone finally doing something. And it’s Cass, who respects her (most of the doubt imo is from Bruce planting those seeds), who appreciates someone willing to follow her that extra mile to stop killing.

I know I probably will not include a lot of other characters that could be seen as siblings, like in particular Barbara, even tho I add Steph, that's probably mostly because I see Steph and Cass together while I'm not a big fan of Barbara and Dick being together

That sudden inexplicable urge to write a next gen batfam fic with TimKon clone babies (MULTIPLE), JayRoy babies (Lian + other kids they took in frm the streets), BirdFlash kids (MORE ADOPTION), DukeIzzy's lil baby, StephCass's adopted babies and/or they find Steph’s baby again, and DamiJon asking Tim to help clone them

And Bruce being that awesome grandad who can't help but give in to his kids' every wish. Like literally. You want a candy? Have three. You want an XBOX? Bruce bought the whole company. You want a life-size Barbie dream house? BAM it's yours now and your parents are freaking out

AND to make it even better, TimBerKon. First baby is Tim and Kon's, made during that time when Kon died, second one is Bern and Kon's, made a few years into their relationship. I just think that'd be neat yk
