okay on a real note who to cast as nightwing tho?
i’m so fucking glad you asked. here are my fancasts
louis garrel:
i was trying to find an actor that fit dick’s ethnic background and i think louis did a good job but i can’t remember the specifics bcos i fancasted him so long ago. he fit the look i wanted which is the skin undertone shade, the black fluffy hair, the romantic eyes, and the pronounced nose. he can be very serious but he also looks very boyish when he smiles and jokes, which is another reason he fits dick grayson. the shadows on the bone structure is just superb for a batman-universe movie.
he would appear in a coming of age, 2000s nightwing movie about dick grayson breaking away from the robin mantle to set out on his own separate from bruce. it would span his mistakes and short comings as one half of a whole, and his journey to becoming blüdhaven’s sole protector. it would be more of an external experience for the viewer as the audience, watching from an outside perspective with the appropriate amount of nightwing’s private self reflection. but it would be paired with nightwing’s friends outwardly observing him, which helps him gain self awareness and adjust his protocols accordingly.
lorenzo zurzolo:
he has a “prettier” look and he’s italian, i believe. so he fits less than my first choice. however, i see the more serious sides of dick grayson in him. i see the romance and break-ups, the drama, and the dark side of gotham’s politics in this film about dick. this is a small project from a small company that lovingly tended to a specific strain of nightwing’s character that we don’t often see. we see him as a resolute pillar of purity and goodness, without compromise and with swiftness and strength. this would be nightwing later on in his years and a stand-alone art piece separate from the main storyline. lorenzo is very conventionally attractive which fits dick as a man who’s pretty enough to draw you in and keep you mesmerized.
i can see people criticizing him for being “too serious” and “nightwing is supposed to be fun” but this would be more of an introspective piece. this would be nightwing inwardly, and how he acts when he’s alone. rather than any performative sense of humor he puts on in other media. this would show the batman’s influence on him as a lean mean machine. also it’s a movie in a diff language in another country
loved this question anon! i’d like to thank @xstarkillerx for helping me develop this bcos i truthfully cannot remember who said what when we first hammered through my list of fancasts

Dick Grayson Fancast
Okay, this is from awhile back, but I want your thoughts. I spent ages trying to find a face claim for Dick, and I went through multiple actors to find the right vibes.
Also, it's not Brenton Thwaites from Titans because even though he's a great actor, he doesn't fit the Nightwing vibes in my head if that makes sense.
So, without further ado, my Dick Grayson Fancast is...
Jonah Hauer-King!
Like, look at this man.
I love him. He did a wonderful job as Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid, and vibes, man, ✨vibes✨.
When I first started using him, he was 27 (he's 28 now because, you know, aging), which is a little old to use him in anything younger, but for my fic it was perfect (Dick is 27, Jason is 23, Tim is 20, and Damian is 14).
This.
Man.
Is.
Perfect.
For Dick Grayson.
Look at this. They're both incredibly dramatic.
Tell me, this look isn't literally discowing.
I love him, your honor.
Also, Jonah Hauer-King is Jewish. And I know, Dick is Romani, but Bruce is canonically Jewish, so you, know, sorta fitting.
And in an interview with The Little Mermaid cast, they said he was the most like his character. He's charming, he's very princely. He's the biggest Disney fan (whose go-to karaoke song is "I Just Can't Wait To Be King").
He's perfect. It's just so fitting.
tl;dr
Jonah Hauer-King is the perfect Dick Grayson.

Do you have a fancast for the batfam?
Ooo! Thank you SO MUCH, anon!!! I absolutely ADORE getting questions like this and I don't usually get them so this is such a treat! 😁
That being said....I don't exactly have a fancast for the batfam 😅 Instead, I tend to have a specific version of each character (mostly from a certain comicbook style) as a fancast if that makes sense.
However, I've put some thought into it and have a few ideas I'll put under the break if I were to cast them today. I'll also include the version of the character I usually picture when I write/read/think of the character.
Bruce Wayne/Batman
My go-to version of Bruce Wayne is the Dan Mora comic book one (though he sounds like Kevin Conroy in the Animated Series 😁).
For a fancast , I know it isn't an original opinion but I think Jensen Ackles would be a great choice. We missed out on him doing a live-action Jason Todd after his amazing voice work in Under the Red Hood, but I think he could really capture the duality of Batman & Bruce Wayne as well as show a third, more tender side when interacting with the Batfam.
(Other options I like include Karl Urban and Jon Bernthal. Also, shout out to @mayhem24-7forever who first suggested Oscar Isaac to me as a possible Bruce Wayne and I LOVE that idea!)
Dick Grayson/Nightwing
So this one is a little more complicated. My go-to version of Dick is the comics version by Mikel Janín. However, my Nightwing costume is the one by Bruno Redondo.
For the fancast, this one might be a little out there, but I really like Leo Howard for it. He hasn't done much acting recently, but he is known for his martial arts skills which would be a big plus for playing Dick/Nightwing.
(Honorable mentions to Evan Evagora)
Jason Todd/Red Hood
The Dexter Soy version of Jason is the one I always picture him as, especially the Red Hood costume (and it is still my dream to cosplay this one day).
For a fancast, I really like Tanner Buchanan for a post-death Jason. My only problem is he's too short! I need a 6ft+ Jason! But otherwise, I think he'd be great!
(Another choice I really like is Jacob Elordi)
Tim Drake/Red Robin
I had trouble finding the specific artists, but this is the version of Tim that I usually go to.
For a fancast, I'm leaning toward Griffin Gluck. He has a sort of presence or aura that feels very Tim to me.
Damian Wayne/Robin
I am most familiar with Damian from the DC Animated films so that's usually what I picture him as.
For fancast, I think Carter Rockwood is perfect! And the fact he is already working on a short video playing Damian just solidifies it.
If anyone is interested in me continuing with more of the extended Batfam or any of the villains, please let me know and I would love to share! 🥰

I made a Fancast for a Batman TV series in the 80s a while ago, but I only revisited it yesterday. It's almost fully complete (at least, I've filled nearly all the roles I added). Let me list them:
Batman: Pierce Brosnan
Robin I (Dick Grayson): maybe Matthew Broderick?
Robin II (Jason Todd): Not Sure Yet
Batgirl: Molly Ringwald
Alfred: Jon Pertwee
Commissioner Gordon: John Astin
Harvey Bullock: John Candy
Renee Montoya: Rachel Ticotin
Lucius Fox: Not Sure Yet
Leslie Thompkins: Betty White
Jack Ryder: Richard Belzer
Vicki Vale: Dana Delany
Jason Bard: Andrew McCarthy
Aunt Harriet: Doris Roberts or Rue McClanahan
Thomas & Martha Wayne: Adam West & Julie Newmar
The Joker: Willem Dafoe
The Penguin: Danny DeVito
The Riddler: Robin Williams
Catwoman: Mary Steenburgen
Two-Face: Not Sure Yet
Poison Ivy: Kathleen Turner
The Scarecrow: Christopher Lee
The Mad Hatter: Martin Short
Mr. Freeze: Patrick Stewart
Killer Croc: Not Sure Yet
Black Mask: Not Sure Yet
Rupert Thorne: Carroll O'Connor
Ra's Al Ghul: Ricardo Montalban
Talia Al Ghul: Demi Moore
I missed a few here, because the list was getting too long to put on one thing. But you get the picture. For all those I can't yet figure out, suggestions are currently open. I do desperately need help putting the rest of this together. I mean, I've only got 3-4 left. It'd be nice to say I'd completed a cast list (I usually never do). Here's the link if you want to help:
