HELLO???? YES??? THOSE ARE NORMAL THINGS TO DO???#yes attending meetings is annoying but the solution is to fucking reduce the amount of meetings and ensuring that meetings are efficient#NOT TO ADD AI????#the stupid fucking AI building half ur code isnt gonna reduce the time spent looking at documentation!!!! u can't trust the AI to be accura#to be accurate so ur gonna have to go to the documentation anyway!!!#“u can just code not worrying about syntax blah blah” so writing psuedocode??? doing a top down approach to get the big idea#and then write the little stuff later???#im so fucking livid this is SO DUMB#literally all the shit they mentioned in passing sounds actually useful instead of the generative AI bs#no i dont need a little guy to write my code for me#but a guy who checks my syntax? that suggests i look at a particular function from the library? that sounds useful!!!#“if i ask this thing how to do X it will tell me how with steps!”#Okay so will the documentation???? hello????#omfg this guy conviently skipped over the part where the AI gave a WRONG ANSWER#bro i can read the screen it did NOT accurately describe the game#“have it generate the game for you” the point of the little shit is to learn how to do stuff so you can apply it to the big shit#god im just so enraged#mr supervisor is this a good use of company resources?#you are billing t he client for ME learning ai bullshit#sir you having me sit through hours of learning the newest buzzword concepts. is this a good use of 8 hrs the client pays for me to be here#chit chat

Making a Match- Part 2
Part 1
Tumblr media
The contract arrived before sunset the next day. Not a servant’s hand, nor a footman’s shuffle—but Lahan himself, who entered just after Lakan, his adoptive father. They stood at your threshold, Lahan’s robes unwrinkled, hair fizzed from the day but his eyes bright as stood behind his elder.
Lakan was just as you imagined: monocle and all. Awkward and powerful. A man who commanded respect—or at least the kind of fear that passed for it. Second only to the Emperor himself, and here he was, grinning like a loon at your father and brothers. It made you feel almost sorry for them. Almost.
Under different circumstances, you might’ve laughed.Standing side by side, the resemblance between Lahan and Lakan was striking—the slant of the eyes, the cut of the jaw. If Lahan aged like his uncle, perhaps he wouldn’t grow fat or bald with time. Lucky you. There was something about those raven curls, slightly unkempt, that made your fingers ache to rake through them. Married life might not be as bad as you thought.
You exhaled quietly, a thin breath of relief, as the pair settled into the morning room, where your father and brothers called for drinks to celebrate. You remained seated on the veranda, eyes narrowed as they guzzled liquor like fools. They could barely see through the fog of their own greed—blind to the predators smiling before them.
Lahan did not sit with his adoptive father. Instead, he slid toward your seat at the edge of the room.
Without flourish, he handed you the scroll, his gaze flicking briefly past you toward the quiet of your private quarters. You didn’t bother asking if he’d worked through the night. Of course he had. Ink still clung faintly to his fingertips.
“I expect you to read it in full,” he said. “There’s a clause for annulment. One for inheritance division. Family support. Even a stipulation concerning the use of shared ink.”
You lifted a brow. “Shared ink?”
“I’m particular,” he replied, adjusting his glasses with one long, ink-smudged finger. “I don’t wish for you to disrupt my routines. While your handwriting is exquisite, I won’t have it corrupt my standards. I’ll see to it you receive proper instruments—as a wedding gift.”
You accepted the scroll, your fingers brushing his—warm, calloused, the hands of a man who wielded quills like weapons. For a moment, he lingered. Just a second. Long enough to make the air taut.
You laughed softly, trailing your fingers along the crisp edges of his perfectly symmetrical script. His gaze met yours—unblinking. It made you look away first, your attention snapping back to the parchment.
And with that, your betrothal began. No pomp. No fanfare. Just a scroll and your brothers and fathers getting drunker and drunker under Lakan’s watchful eye.
Your brothers and father didn’t even acknowledge you. Not a word. Not a glance. They signed you off to the La clan like livestock—without hesitation, without thought.
Your eyes skimmed the document. For what you were expecting, it was generous. Pin money far exceeded what your father had ever allotted you. There was control over the household budget—though supervised, of course. You paused at a clause.
“A house?” you asked.
“It’s the most economical,” he said. “Close enough for me to conduct business and attend court. Tradition favors a separate home for a married couple. I suspect you wouldn’t enjoy living with my father and his peculiarities.”
You snorted. “A fair assumption.”
“I’ve already ordered the master bedroom to be cleaned. It should do us fine.”
“A shared chamber?” you repeated, blinking. That was... unorthodox. You were fairly certain your mother hadn’t even seen your father’s bedchamber in a decade, let alone shared one.
“It’s efficient,” he said flatly. Saves on fuel in winter and reduces laundering in summer.”
Despite his tone, you couldn’t help laughing.
“I suppose having a wife does have its benefits—beyond heating bills and cutting down on chores.”
He gave no answer. But the corner of his mouth twitched, just slightly.
Then he turned to go, heading toward the cluster of men and you followed
“Wait.”
The drink had been flowing too freely—your father already halfway through his second glass before Lahan had even finished listing the clauses. He leaned back in his chair, grinning with the loose, thoughtless bravado that came with fermented confidence.
“We are honored by your choice of our daughter,” he said, raising his goblet lazily in your direction. “Obviously, a widow with no children yet. Married two years and nothing. But I’m sure she’ll provide good heirs, if she’s anything like her mother. If not, you can always sell her to a brothel. That’s all she's good for. Well—that and running a house.”
Your spine locked.
Lakan didn’t flinch.
“Perhaps,” he said coolly, “if her previous husband hadn’t been old enough to be my father, she might have been able to bear something more than shame. Lord Hun was a lecher.”
The room stilled.
Your father let out a brittle laugh, trying to shrug it off—until his elbow clipped his goblet.
The drink sloshed violently, a dark splash streaking across your lap and sleeves. The wine bloomed against your pale fabric, blooming like bruises in the wake of a slap.
You hissed and stepped back——and nearly lost your footing.
But Lahan was there.
His arm circled your waist with startling precision, the other bracing your back as though he’d anticipated the stumble before it happened. His fingers curled at your ribs, solid and warm even through the soaked fabric.
Your breath caught—not from the fall, but from his touch. The rough pads of his fingers, calloused from both pen and paper, brushed your side. And far, far too close to skin you’d only ever let a husband see and touch
Your thoughts betrayed you—treacherous, vivid. You imagined those same fingers pressing somewhere else. Inside you. Measuring, coaxing, cataloguing. Mapping your pleasure like a scribe recording sacred knowledge.
You cleared your throat. Stepped back. “Excuse me,” you murmured. The heat in your cheeks was no longer just from the wine. “I need to change.”
You turned and left before another word could be said.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
You didn’t hear him follow.
But when you stepped out of your dressing room, newly wrapped in fresh linens, he was already there—leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed, his posture deceptively casual. Yet, your eyes caught the oddly symmetrical alignment of the ornaments lining the hallway, a silent testament to his unyielding precision even in the smallest details.
“Are you well?” Lahan asked, voice low, eyes steady.
“I’m dry,” you replied, arching a brow. “If that’s what you mean.”
His gaze dipped—brief, clinical—to the belt tied at your waist and below that. He said nothing, but his fingers tensed where they rested, a twitch barely visible beneath the fold of his sleeves.
You stepped toward him, unhurried. The robe whispered around your legs with every stride, soft against your freshly cleaned skin. “You seemed… displeased,” his said, voice light but probing. “At your father's comment.”
A flicker crossed your face—confusion, quickly masked. “What?”
“Your father,” Lahan said, slower this time. “When he asked about children and his vile comment should you fail to create them.’
Ah. That.
The words reopened something raw, something you kept sealed beneath careful indifference. Because everyone assumed the lack of an heir was your failure. That your womb was barren, that your beauty was hollow. They whispered behind their hands, wondering what flaw must have hidden beneath your fine silks.
When in truth, your late husband had been too old, too feeble, too far gone into decay to be any sort of man—certainly not a husband. It had been a mercy, really, the impotence. At least you hadn’t had to endure the press of sagging flesh and rancid breath being panted onto you. He’d only ever wanted the performance—your body beside his, your voice low and sweet, as you did what he couldn't.
You'd acted the part perfectly. But it wasn’t your failure, and certainly not worth selling you to a brothel.
“I assure you,” you said now, stepping closer still, your voice silk-wrapped steel, “I can provide an heir. If that’s what you desire. ”
You reached for him—just a touch. Deliberate. Your fingers brushed his wrist, where the calloused edges of his hand had earlier ghosted along your ribs. You traced that place now, slow, intentional, searching the marble perfection of his skin.
“My previous husband…” you began, and let the words drip with something darker, “was unable to perform. So I had to get creative.”
Your hand slid up, then down again, toying with the lapel of his robe.
“You’ll find I’m more than proficient.”
Lahan’s throat bobbed, his expression unreadable, though his stillness had shifted—no longer detached, but held in place by tension barely leashed. Still, he said nothing.
You leaned in, just enough to let the heat of your body press against the cool discipline of his.
“Tell me,” you whispered, lips near his ear. “You’ve never touched a woman before, have you?”
His jaw ticked again. He held your gaze—but didn’t deny it.
You smiled slowly. “How disciplined. How... frustrating.”
Still, he said nothing. Just stood there, cloaked in silence. But the quiet wasn’t passive anymore—it vibrated with something unspoken, something nearly feral. The air between you pulsed, thick with restraint.
“Well,” you murmured, your voice dipping into a sultry drawl, “you’ve chosen to marry. It would be such a waste if you didn’t... utilize your rights.”
A twitch—just the barest flicker—moved through one of his hands.
You closed the remaining distance, the hem of your robe whispering against the front of his tunic. “You’re a man of precision,” you said. “I trust, when the time comes, you’ll apply it... generously.”
When he finally spoke, his voice was low and smooth—velvet-wrapped steel.
“You presume it will be you who gives instruction.”
Your brows lifted, lips curving into a slow, dangerous smile. “Oh?Are you educated? Or…Do you plan to educate yourself? ”
His expression didn’t falter—but something in his eyes shifted. Narrowed. Grew colder. Sharper.
“No,” he said simply.
You tilted your head, mock-thoughtful. “Then I do suggest you get yourself educated.” You stepped even closer, your breath now mingling with his. “Experience, my lord,” you said, voice barely more than a purr. “Is the best teacher.”
Your fingers grazed the edge of his robe again—this time slower, bolder. “And I,” you added, “am an excellent tutor.”
You let your eyes drift lazily over his face as if appraising a particularly fine, if untested, blade. “Brothels are the usual places, I suppose…” You paused, pretending to consider. “But they tend to focus rather heavily on male pleasure.” Your voice turned languid. “Then again, I’m sure I can manage to satisfy myself if you’re not up to the task. After all—female pleasure does require... meticulous timing and precision.”
Your gaze flicked back to his, deliberate and daring. “Do you have that, Lahan? Precision?”
He blinked—just once. But it was real, unguarded.
“I assure you,” he said, voice a notch lower, “I am a perfectly adequate student.”
Your eyes dropped toward the corridor beyond him—toward the sound of distant laughter echoing faintly through the stone. “My father and brothers will be several cups deep by now,” you said. “Would you care to put that to the test?”
His head tilted, ever so slightly. The edge of his lip twitched, as if suppressing a response he hadn’t quite rehearsed. “I… require time to study,” he murmured. “I—cannot have this sprung on me! Where am I to take notes?”
You stepped in again, this time brushing your body deliberately against his arm. Soft fabric against firm muscle, linen against heat.
“There’s no need for notes, future husband,” you murmured, stepping into his shadow. Then, softer—more deliberate—“Just study me well, husband. I expect a thoroughly educated husband.”
His breath caught—quiet, but audible. His hand hovered at his side, uncertain. You watched it, half-smiling, as if daring him to use it. For a heartbeat, neither of you moved.
Then: “Do you mean to seduce me?” he asked, quiet and unblinking.
Your smile deepened, slow and dangerous. “No, my lord,” you said, turning just enough to let your shoulder graze his chest as you whispered against his skin. “I mean to see if you really are as quick as they say you are.”
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
You rocked your hips against his hand, the fabric of your robe bunched tight at your waist, legs straddling his thigh. His fingers moved inside you—slow, searching, deliberate—as if mapping every contour, every hidden response. Lahan’s hat had been ripped from his head in a flash of impatience, his unruly curls bouncing with each movement as you ground your body against his. The dressing chair beneath you was solid, sturdy enough to hold your weight—and the intensity of your motion.
His brows knit together, not in confusion but in deep concentration. You could feel it—that razor-sharp focus. Not lust-blind or frenzied. He was observing, calculating every shiver, every subtle twitch like a scholar intent on solving a complex equation perfectly. The tension in your thighs. The tremble in your breath. The tight clench around his fingers.
“Curl your fingers,” you gasped, voice trembling as you gripped his shoulder harder as you moved.
He obeyed instantly—no hesitation, no smugness—only pure, eager willingness to learn. The motion made you arch, your back bowing instinctively. A soft moan slipped past your lips before you could catch it, raw and honest. That one hit home—deep and tight—drawing a flicker of response you hadn’t expected to share.
“There,” you breathed, voice low and thick with heat, “just like that—”
His jaw flexed, the tension in his face shifting. A flicker of something broke through the calm surface—not desire, not yet—but interest. Scientific. Ravenous. Analytical.
“Keep watching me,” you said between shallow, ragged breaths. ‘’Your learning sooo well.’’
Another slow, measured thrust. Then a curling of fingers—perfect, precise. You moaned loud and unbridled. You thanked the spirits that your family were oblivious to when they were drunk.
“You react most intensely here,” he murmured, pressing against that spot again, angling just right, probing deeper. “And when I do this—”
Another curl.
You whimpered, knees threatening to buckle beneath you, caught between the fire rising inside and the electric thrill of his calculated touch.
“Your inner walls tighten by approximately… two degrees of resistance,” Lahan murmured, his voice calm, measured—almost disturbingly clinical. “I cannot see well enough to determine which finger movement yields superior results. For accuracy... I will need you fully displayed.”
You should’ve been embarrassed.
You weren’t.
You were blazing—heat curling in your belly, fire licking beneath your skin. His words, spoken like a physician’s hypothesis, only stoked it further. He wasn’t just touching you; he was studying you like a rare, exquisite specimen. And gods help you, right now you wanted to be his favorite subject.
His touch was no longer tentative or awkward—it was methodical, like a cartographer mapping unknown terrain. Every subtle twitch, every involuntary clench was data, precisely recorded. There was no stumbling, no guesswork. Just relentless, unyielding curiosity.
“You’re ridiculous,” you panted, hips grinding insistently against his palm, urging him on.
“And you’re…” His voice softened, almost hesitant, “breathtaking. Perfectly symmetrical ”
Your head dropped forward, resting against his shoulder, a soft, broken moan slipping from your lips as your body clenched around his fingers—tight, pulsing, unbearable. The climax didn’t crash like the storm you once chased while mounting phallus. No—this consumed you differently. It was clean, final, irrefutable. A sharp cry tore from your throat as it overtook you.
Lahan held you through it, unmoving except for the steady, deliberate pressure of his fingers curled deep inside you, as though anchoring your body to its own pleasure, refusing to let go until every last tremor had passed.
You sagged against him, breath hitching, pulse fluttering wildly against his neck.
And then you heard it. A quiet exhale. Not satisfaction. Not admiration. Annoyed
You blinked, still panting, your body humming and spent.
“Is… something wrong?” you murmured, voice fragile in the heavy silence.
Lahan’s lips pressed into a thin, tight line. His eyes, which had moments before been wide with silent reverence, narrowed now in a puzzled, almost dismayed frown behind his glasses “One,” he muttered, mostly to himself.
“…Excuse me?” Your voice was a whisper, breathless and incredulous.
“One orgasm. Singular. It’s... unbalanced.” Lahan’s tone was clipped, as if the very idea offended his precise nature. “Odd-numbered. It lacks symmetry. Continuity. Completion.”
You stared at him for a beat, still sprawled over his lap, your robe slipping from one shoulder to reveal flushed, glistening skin—marked by the aftershocks of your release.
“You’re upset because I came once?”
He looked at you as though you’d suggested he misfile his ledgers—a notion as absurd as it was offensive.
“Odd numbers disturb me,” he said flatly, eyes sharp, voice earnest. “You’ve disrupted the sequence.”
Despite yourself, a laugh spilled from your lips—half disbelief, half delight, bubbling up like a secret triumph.
“You mean to tell me,” you said, trailing a fingertip down the sharp line of his jaw, “that unless I come twice, you’ll be too… unsettled to concentrate?”
He nodded solemnly, completely serious.
Your smile curved slow and dangerous. “Oh, I’m not the one who’s unbalanced,” you purred, smoothing your robe with a practiced, languid elegance. “I feel perfectly satisfied.”
His jaw flexed, a subtle muscle twitch betraying him. “You’re enjoying this,” he said, voice flat but edged with something unreadable.
“Mmm.” You leaned in close, your breath grazing the shell of his ear. “I think I like you best just like this—glasses slightly askew, fingers wet, and one orgasm short of a proper equation.”
His body stiffened. That did it. The twitch at the corner of his eye betrayed the crack in his armor.
You straightened, casting a slow, sweeping glance over him—still fully clothed, still composed, at least outwardly. Save from a rather impressive outline of his straining cock. But you knew better now. Knew how tightly coiled he was beneath that veneer of silk and calculation.
“Next time,” you said, voice smooth as silk, “I get to touch you.”
His fingers slipped free from where they’d rested against you—glossed with your essence.
You brought his hand to your lips, your touch deliberate.
Lahan stilled.
Your mouth closed around his fingers—one by one—your tongue tracing the length of each with slow, meticulous precision. His breath hitched—just once—and you felt it like a quiet victory. When you reached his index finger—the very one that had curled perfectly inside you—you gave it one last lingering lick before letting his hand fall back to his side.
With that, you stepped away, leaving him alone in the dressing room. The door clicking softly shut behind you.
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments. It made writing this so exciting. I hope you like it.
I might write more Lahan fics with my lovely reader. Please let me know how you found Lahan in this chapter. I am still trying to balance the right amount weird with nerd.

in the neighboring country of your very own, legends say that a great dragon protected their lands in a time of tumultuous peril. were it not for the great dragon general and his army of mythical beasts, the people of that land would have succumbed to war and famine. he built the broken country from the ground back up, and introduced many kinds of craft to help them prosper. the land and its people did indeed flourish,  thanks to the wisdom of the dragon. but wise as he is, he ultimately decided that the humans must learn to rely on themselves, and so he and his army of beasts hid away, till they faded into nothing more but myths and stories…
you stare blankly at the gentleman who is calmly sipping his tea while he tells you this story, and venti's squawking laughter as he dies in the background. having let go of his human form, he sits comfortably with his scaled tail and his golden antlers out, and his black and gold hands gingerly cup the ceramic teacup. aether is beside you giving the man a deadpan stare. all the surrounding hybrids, save for a few clueless ones, give him the side eye. yeah, ZHONGLI is not fooling anybody.
unlike your other hybrids, it was you who came to him. your father had summoned you, much to the anger of your caring hybrids, and your servants had you scrubbed with scented soaps and dressed you in elegant pieces. aether accompanies you all the way to your company's building and soothes your worries away as you ride the elevator going up. the man accompanying you shoots a condescending gaze— the forgotten heir and their hybrid pet— and backing down after receiving aether’s dark glare. when you step into his office, you’re greeted by the apathetic look on your father’s face… and the handsome man beside him.
“this is ZHONGLI,” your father tells you, sounding bored as he resumes to reading his documents. “i heard that you’ve amassed yourself a following of hybrids of some sort.” you tense when you hear that, knowing the positions hybrids hold in this world. “what you do there is of no concern to me. ZHONGLI is a good and efficient secretary– he can help you control those beasts of yours. after all, i cannot risk having so many sources of harm around my child without someone to properly control them.” aether snarls under his breath at the mere implication of them hurting you, but you squeeze his hand. and so off you leave to your isolated villa, your back turning on your neglectful father once more.
ZHONGLI quickly proves himself to be quite the skilled hybrid. he can easily identify from just a glance on what kind of animal they are, as well as the specifications of their behavior, preferred environment, diet, and whatnot. he also helps you sort through your treasures— the jewels and antiques you’ve accumulated over time and tell you stories of these. he entertains you with new knowledge, helping you have a good grasp on the world beyond these walls.
he’s also very, very gentle with you. for the kindness you’ve shown these hybrids, you’ve gained a special place in ZHONGLI’s heart. oftentimes, he will pat your hair down as he recounts an old eastern fable, and straightens out any wrinkles in your shirt when he sees them. it pleases him to know that you are nothing like your father, but he knows that you’re still his blood-related child. if you had to go through any of the trials that your father had, ZHONGLI fears that you may grow just as cold-hearted as he is. so he makes sure to take the utmost care of you, so that you’ll never have to change from your kind and soft self.
ZHONGLI quickly becomes a trustworthy pillar that everyone can rely on. the younger hybrids tend to come to him for advice, and he sometimes even replaces aether as a substitute butler. but when it comes to fights, he only watches in amusement and sips on his tea. youngsters should let out some steam once in a while, he reasons. oh, and aether absolutely forbids him from touching the mora. that’s one thing no one ever trusts him with.
ZHONGLI’s pride and ego as a dragon hybrid has long dissipated since the eras have changed, but even so, it has always irritated him that your father tricked him into a contract. sometimes, when he looks at you, a dark urge dwells in the dark recesses of his mind. it’s a feeling he hasn’t felt ever since he was a young bloodthirsty general— that bloodlust and sadism. he knows you’re not your father… but what he does know is that your father has a great amount of affection he refuses to show to you. so what would happen if ZHONGLI were to… say, ruin you? to push you past your breaking point and present it to your father?
he knows it’s not right to think such things of you, but you can’t blame him. ZHONGLI is sure you’d understand, like how you understand your every hybrid’s troubles. he’s done so much for you, after all. surely you’ll allow him to take a bite of you, and maybe more. you are a treasure, hidden away where no one can hear you scream. it doesn’t help that ZHONGLI is a dragon, heralded by legends as the mightiest of them all, and he wants to possess every single inch of you until you’re not yourself anymore.
he loves you, and he isn’t afraid to tell you. you are kind, and you are everything your father isn’t. his heart swells when you look at him and his smile is unstoppable when you excitedly chatter on about trivial matters. he wants to give you everything and more but it is in his blood to be selfish, and there’s nothing he wants more than to ruin you and your father too.
RELATIONSHIPS: zhongli and venti often get into passive-aggressive fights by covering up their insults with very fake compliments. poor xiao and aether often find themselves in the middle of this verbal war, but the two old men actually get along more than they’re willing to admit.
Tumblr media
ITTO makes himself known by destroying a wall and a room. it was a nice and peaceful day, enjoying a cup of tea before another session of studying with zhongli. but soon enough, the entire manor shakes as a loud explosion comes from one of the outermost rooms, and everyone rushes to see what happened. in the middle of all the rubble and mess is a snorting bull, a stab wound in his side. when it looks up at you, it's eyes grow wide.
everyone covers your eyes when the bull morphs and reveals a naked muscular man with the stupidest grin ever. "hello, little one!" his voice nearly booms, but it stills sound faint as blood dribbles from his mouth. "uh, haha, i know it's awkward to ask this of ya since we just met, but ya look like the master of this house. care to help me out here?"
ITTO apparently has gotten himself injured thanks to a gang war. according to his story, his gang pissed off some of the local ones when they barged into their territory ("anywhere's arataki itto's territory!" he corrects zhongli, but is promptly ignored) and he split up from his gang while running away ("strategic retreat!"). the adrenaline must've gotten to him, because he was a long way off from where he originally came from.
ITTO is loud and childish, but you've never had a normal childhood, so his presence is greatly appreciated. he drags you into his silly games— catching beetles with you to raise them into fierce fighters, shouting out cringey finishing moves during your card games— it’s always a fun time whenever he’s around, and he even manages to wrangle other hybrids into playing with him. a lot of people are exasperated by him, but they do like how friendly and stupid he is, so he’s one of the more popular hybrids in town.
stupid ITTO knows how strong he is, but that doesn’t mean he stops to think before pulling you into one of his bone-crushing hugs. gorou often yelps and tries to pull him off, nagging the laughing bull about his strength and carelessness. when he does loosen his grip on you, he does make for a great cuddle buddy— a set of firm abs behind you, muscled biceps wrapped protectively around your hips, and his head atop yours. sometimes you’ll fall asleep in his arms, much to everyone’s dismay, because then itto would fall asleep with you and everyone knows he has a grip like death.
ITTO’s foolish, but he’s kind and surprisingly wise at times. he’s wise enough to know the dark leer in his fellow hybrids’ eyes, and strong enough to be able to whisk you away from potential danger without any consequences. he tends to move you away whenever territorial conflicts arise between the hybrids, distracting you with a game or two. itto knows all too well how hybrids are treated in this world… he doesn’t want you being scared of them either.
that’s why he doesn’t warn you about the dangers of the other hybrids either. one, because he doesn’t want to fill your head with scary thoughts about them and two, well, he becomes a hypocrite. he may try protecting you, but even that’s hard enough for him. when you smile at him so trustingly, it just breaks his heart in two… and stirs up something dark and possessive within his heart.
ITTO wants to cradle you gently, continue to play these silly games with you and have fun with the others for your entire life, but sometimes, you make it hard for him to be a nice man. he’s a big, big man— so big, in fact, that you won’t be able to do anything when he wraps that meaty hand of his around your head and muffles your screams. once he pins you to the floor and starts nibbling at your soft flesh, you’ll be helpless and weak, and it’ll only take him a second before he draws blood. he hates himself for wanting to violate you like that, but the thought makes him salivate.
you don’t know the real world like ITTO and the others does, and he wishes to keep it that way. concepts like innocence and pure are too philosophical for the bull hybrid’s taste, but he wishes to keep you safe. he’s been ridiculed, scorned, and cursed at for simply existing. part of him knows its paranoia, part of him believes it, and a small part of him wishes that you continue to hide in the haven you’ve made for yourself.
RELATIONSHIPS: itto’s quite friendly with the entire inazuman group, ready to loop them in for some fun whether they like it or not. due to his outgoing nature, he’s also made friends with the others as well, especially xiao, and seems to be oblivious to his mythical status with his laments about his poor, small figure. aether keeps a tired yet amused smile at his tirades, but makes sure to keep you away from him to avoid his bad influence.
Tumblr media
GOROU joins your family after being wrangled by the neck by itto, who had loudly proclaimed that he had found dinner. when he bursts in the front doors, there’s a yipping dog digging its canines into his hand. someone briefly mentions that bulls are supposed to be herbivores, but all you can think about how cute the puppy is. slowly creeping to the shiba inu, you gently stretch out a hand and start petting its soft fur. the small thing flicks its eyes to you and bares its teeth to growl, but a particularly good scratch has it whimpering timidly.
GOROU just might be the only sane one from the inazuman hybrids, minus thoma, who’s more or less subservient to you and ayato. he’s usually frantically running back and forth keeping an eye on itto (“humans are not to be held like that!”) and heizou (“do not try to eat kazuha again!”). when he’s not trying to keep it all together, he likes training in the open field out back, and his night time routines are often spent with other fluffy tail boys, who sit in a circle to groom each others tails. you’re part of this too, often finding yourself groomed by the others too.
he’s a respected warrior, and he likes to help out around the house too. GOROU is fairly amiable and gullible, so he often plays the straight man of many pranks. he’s strict with himself and with others, but not a lot of people take him seriously, especially with ears and tail as fluffy as that. it’s quite troubling for him, and he doesn’t appreciate it when people stroke his ears out of the blue or ruffle his preciously groomed tail.
although young, he likes to present himself as respectable and responsible. after all, he wants you to trust him, to come to him whenever you need help! but it doesn’t help that whenever GOROU is engaged in a duel, his more base instincts come out and the heat of the fight rushes in his head. he’s growling and scratching the floor, he shoots with a precise aim but doesn’t neglect the use of all four limbs. you find it endearing how embarrassed he becomes when he’s finally relaxed after the duel and you of all people had to see him like that. while you coo and comfort him about how cool he was, all the other hybrids exchange  a look— that wasn’t about being cool, it was a show of primal instincts.
GOROU values your approval and affection more than anything in this world. it’s why he works so tirelessly to become a man you can rely on. he doesn’t allow himself to be clingy, but with some encouragement, he’ll immediately melt in your touch and he won’t let go. he sees you like a being near to divinity– if not divinity itself. your touch cleanses him, your voice soothes him, and should you give him a command, he’ll carry it out with perfect execution. he’s been demeaned as a brainless dog by society, an animal instead of an equal, but for you, he’ll proudly carry that title with blood on its name.
if you’re looking to gain more than what you currently have, GOROU is the perfect lackey to have. it’s not to say that all your dear hybrids are more than happy to follow your pursuit of greatness, but they all have their underlying agendas when it comes to you. meanwhile, GOROU’s wants and needs are all based on yours. he doesn’t need to have any other agendas— all he wants is for you to hold him for the night, bloody mess and all.
RELATIONSHIPS: gorou is usually yelling and running after itto, mostly failing to get him wrangled and disciplined. he’s only ever relaxed around kazuha and aether, who both patiently listen to his grumbles and complaints. the three of them are part of the unofficial tail society of the manor, who along with the other fluffy tail-havers like to sit in a circle and groom each other’s tails.
Tumblr media
there was once a time when common household products mysteriously disappeared from your cabinets. it whipped the servants into quite a fright, and rumors of a ghost haunting the halls were popular for a time. it was only when a servant found a small cavern in the side of the hill’s landscape, where the said products were organized meticulously, did they find the culprit— a handsome boy sporting feline eyes and a pair of fluffy ears and tail to boot. when ALBEDO meets your eyes, the wildcat hybrid smiles in a way that would make any romantic’s heart flutter.
“apologies for the inconvenience i may have brought you,” he says in a voice like a fairytale prince’s. “i should have introduced myself sooner instead of stealing from your cabinets. but as you can see,” he poi kntedly stares at the dozen wary eyes behind your back. “... i may have gotten a bit shy in the presence of such… intimidating companions.”
ALBEDO is almost immediately absolved of all sin. who can get mad at such a pretty face? even your head maid who had been angrily fuming and ranting these past weeks immediately quickly turned all sparkly-eyed and accommodating as soon as albedo sent a charming smile her way. he becomes a quick favorite among the staff, because oh, he’s so nice to talk to! all these scary hybrids are either brooding or scheming or scarily strong and here’s this angel from above come to give them a sense of normality! he’s not nicknamed prince for nothing!
you always feel at ease around ALBEDO, and you like how gentle he is with you. his words are soft-spoken and carefully chosen, and he listens to your insecurities with a patient ear. he shares with you advice and his own perspective of things (albeit a bit flat on the social aspects), and he draws you little doodles to cheer you up. you both have a little game that you play where he draws on his sketchpad and you try to guess what it is before he finishes it. he always finds a way to trick you though, so you never guess correctly. he laughs quietly when you declare that one day you’ll figure it out, and pout when he ruffles your hair like a big brother.
ALBEDO likes how… warm you feel next to him. a favorite past time of his is accompanying you on your strolls and observe the wildlife with you. his hands squeeze yours as you point out the funny cloud in the sky or when you ask about a specific type of flora. if you’re sleepy, you often nap on his lap under the shade of a tree. he can feel his heartbeat racing as his fingers stroke your chin and trace your eyelids, and his big fluffy tail wraps your torso protectively. all he hears is the skritches of his pencil against paper and your faint snoring.
ALBEDO is… passive. strangely so, amidst a harem of dangerous hybrids. he makes it a point to never admit his feelings out loud. to verbalize such fantasies about you, the one who keeps him sheltered, it feels disrespectful to you. you’re too naive of the outside world, too innocent of the darker recesses of the human, er, hybrid mind. he wants to protect this innocence, because there’s too much darkness already in the world.
he hides away in his study, pencil against paper scratching away as his eyes zero in this unfinished portrait. he plans to make a portrait of your likeness, but none of these copies can compare to the real deal. an eye is too off, the nose too thin, the smile not pretty enough. he doodles some little yous on the corner of his scrapped portraits… and blushes furiously. he tears up the indecency and throws them on the fire.
is it so terrible to want to play with you a little? he may put on the big brother act now, but that’s mostly because he likes seeing the expressions you make whenever he praises you. your expressions are so interesting, despite them being like any other human’s. exactly what makes him so drawn to you? it’s a research topic he must explore one day. but for now, ALBEDO is content to play house with you for a little while, and shut away his more sexual instincts for a little while longer. there’d be plenty of time to experiment on you later, once he’s reached his limits. for now, he’ll let the potion simmer for a little while longer ♡
RELATIONSHIPS: albedo often shuts himself away from everyone and stay inside his lil old lab conducting experiments and the like, but once in a while there are people who drag him out. he often experiments on a disgruntled aether, who he bribes with mora. cyno thinks of him as a like-minded friend, but tighnari thinks that the way albedo stares at the jackal is much like a scientist staring at microbes under a glass.

CW: Cannibalism.
"It hurts so much, dear. I- I don't feel so good..." You hid yourself under the cover, wrapping yourself like an egg roll as your husband set down the tray of warm soup and a couple of medicines.
"I get that dear, but you should take your medicines first to feel better." It was not said in a chiding tone, his hand patting your egg roll figure repeatedly as though he was knocking on a door.
You peeked your head out and took a generous sniff at the soup, it smelled and looked good despite being mixed with herbals. "Come, just sit up and open your mouth," He proposed as he positioned you to sit with the pillows supporting your back.
He blew the spoonful of the soup before urging you to drink it. The taste was not bad but it did not leave a good aftertaste as well despite his attempt to filter the herbal taste. Nonetheless, drinking the soup was a good idea as it warmed your body.
And the meat floating in the soup was not contributing any taste for you as well. It looked odd, shaped like any normal chicken meat but the taste left this strange stinging taste.
But it did make you feel better whenever you took a bite of it, the aching of your body slowly dissipating while your throat felt less sore with each gulp of the soup you took.
Your husband sure knew every way to make you feel better, even by making soup for when you were sick!
"Good, now take these and go to sleep again, okay? I'll be here the whole day." "Really? Don't you have work to do?" "Mmh, I can always work on the paperwork here. Now, now," He tucked you into the blanket, "Let's get you feel better."
You took hold of his hand, cold contrary to your warm skin, "I love you, Yulian." "I love you too, dear." He kissed your forehead and sat down on the chair, sorting through the documents.
---
"I really didn't expect that the pastor's meat would be this efficient as a medicine. Is it because they are blessed by his holiness?" Yulian sat down across the bed, his eyes gazing upon your peaceful sleeping body. The sleeping medicines helped a lot as well, ensuring you get all the sleep you need to recover.
And ensuring that you did not hear any of his apologies.
"I'm so sorry dear, but I just can't bear seeing you being in pain. I know this will shock you a lot should you ever find out, but know that I am going this far only to cure you. I really love you."
It was not hard for Yulian to get away with it as he has the underground bastards to help him cover up his crime, having the mafia ringleader in a pinch surely makes things easier.
"Sweet dream."
A smooch on your forehead that warmed you up. You could feel that but was it a dream?

Billionaire Elon Musk — CEO of Tesla, SpaceX and X.com and leader of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) — is promising transparency and full disclosure with his DOGE efforts. But on Wednesday night, February 12, a U.S. State Department procurement document was edited to remove Tesla's name. This followed media reports of a $400 million contract for Tesla.
The document was timestamped December 23, 2024.
According to Bloomberg News reporter Dana Hull, the document now lists a "generic designation" of "armored electric vehicles."

Elon Musk’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has spent the first six weeks of the new Trump administration turning the federal government upside down. It has moved from agency to agency, accessing sensitive data and payment systems, all on a supposed crusade to audit the government and stop fraud, waste, and abuse. DOGE has posted some of its “findings” on its website, many of which have been revealed to be errors.
But two federal auditors with years of experience, who have both worked on financial and technical audits for the government, say that DOGE’s actions are the furthest thing from what an actual audit looks like. Both asked to speak on the condition of anonymity because they weren’t permitted to speak to the press.
“Honestly, comparing real auditing to what DOGE is doing, there’s no comparison,” says one of the auditors who spoke to WIRED. “None of them are auditors.”
In September, in a speech during the presidential campaign, then candidate Donald Trump said that he would create a government efficiency task force, headed by Musk, which would do a “complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government.” Musk initially said that he wanted to cut $2 trillion from the federal budget, more than the entire 2023 discretionary budget of $1.7 trillion. Musk has since tempered his ambitions, saying he’d aim to cut $1 trillion in government spending. Still, he has alleged that much of this money can be cut by identifying waste, fraud, and abuse, and has continued to claim DOGE’s cuts of agency staff and resources are all part of an audit.
While there are certainly instances of government money siphoned off to fraud—a Government Accountability Office study published in 2024 estimated that the government loses between $233 billion and $521 billion to fraud each year—even recovering all that spending wouldn’t amount to the $1 trillion Musk hopes to cut from the budget.
The auditors who spoke to WIRED allege that not only is Musk’s claim not true, but also that DOGE appears to have completely eschewed the existing processes for actually rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse.
“An audit that follows Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), also known as a Yellow Book audit, is conducted in accordance with the standards issued by the US Government Accountability Office,” says the first auditor. Audits can focus on the finances, compliance, or performance of an agency. “That is the gold standard for how you audit the government.”
There are generally five phases of a GAGAS audit, the auditors tell WIRED: planning, evidence gathering, evaluation, reporting, and follow up. Auditors work to define the scope of an audit, identify all the applicable laws and standards, and come up with an audit plan. Next, auditors conduct interviews with staff, review financial records, and comb through data, reports, and transactions, documenting all the way. From there, auditors will assess that information against policies or procedures to figure out if there’s been some kind of alleged waste, fraud, or abuse and issue a report detailing their findings and offering recommendations. Often, those reports are made available to the public. After an audit, the auditors can follow up with the agency to ensure changes are being made.
There are also very technical definitions for what constitutes waste, fraud, or abuse. Waste could mean that there are inefficiencies in a program that might lead to purchasing more of something that goes unused, or paying more for a service than is necessary. Fraud involves intentional deception—for instance, bribery or falsifying business records. Abuse means doing things that aren’t necessarily illegal, but that are unethical. This could look like nepotism or favoritism in hiring, or spending excessively on travel.
In a recent interview with podcaster Joe Rogan, Musk said he believed that the government was “one big pyramid scheme” and alleged that “entitlements fraud” is a “gigantic magnetic force to pull people in from all around the world and keep them here.”
The two auditors told WIRED that going through the technological and financial minutiae of even just a single project or part of an agency can take anywhere from six to 18 months.
“You can’t coherently audit something like the whole Social Security system in a week or two,” says the second auditor. It’s exactly this rush to crack systems open without full understanding, the auditors say, that has led to Elon Musk’s false claims that 150-year-olds were receiving Social Security benefits. “It could be that DOGE didn’t de-dupe the data.”
“In no uncertain terms is this an audit,” claims the second auditor. “It’s a heist, stealing a vast amount of government data.”
Federal workers who have spoken to WIRED say they are worried that their own data could be used to surveil and target them for firings based on their identities or political views. There are also concerns that DOGE could access contracts and procurement data that contain sensitive information that companies provide in order to work with the federal government. DOGE has also deployed an AI chatbot within the General Services Administration (GSA) and appears to want to expand the use of such tools, bolstered by access to government data. New court documents also indicate that Marko Elez, the former DOGE representative at the Treasury Department, shared a spreadsheet with personally identifying information outside the agency.
And without time spent for auditors to understand a new data system—like interviewing agency staff or learning the coding language—the first auditor believes it’s likely the DOGE team is flying blind. “When they collect a dataset, they don't get it with any sort of description, I imagine,” they say. “There are no terms of use for any government systems … There's no supporting testimony from data system owners, from data system experts. They don't even know the language and the database systems that they're working in. That’s why they keep messing up.”
The auditors described a lengthy vetting process that allowed them to get the permissions necessary to dive into an agency’s data and systems. In addition to going through the initial vetting process, the auditors say that they are required to engage in continuing education.
“None of them have any auditing background, none have any certifications, none have any clearances,” says the first auditor.
Federal workers who have spoken to WIRED expressed concern that DOGE’s operatives appear to have bypassed the normal security clearance protocols in order to access sensitive systems. WIRED found that many of DOGE’s youngest members, all of whom were 25 or younger, have very limited work experience, and none in the government. One, Edward Coristine, who goes by “Big Balls” online, appears to be a 19-year-old high school graduate. Despite this, they were given high-level access at places like the GSA, the Social Security Administration, and the Treasury. Others, like those at the Federal Aviation Administration, come directly from Musk’s own companies and were not fully vetted before their start dates.
The auditors also noted that even canceling contracts, as DOGE has done, can add to costs, rather than reduce them, in the long run. For instance, often the government negotiates deals on large purchases where it gets discounts for bulk purchases. Canceling a contract likely not only means the government needs to pay some kind of fee to compensate for the contract cancellation—maybe 10 to 15 percent of the contract amount—but if some or part of that purchase needs to be reinstated later, that initial bulk discount will likely be gone, making it more expensive overall. This was the case with many of the software licenses that DOGE said it wanted to cut.
Since sweeping through the government, DOGE has canceled thousands of government contracts, including 10,000 specifically for humanitarian aid. According to reporting from the Associated Press, 40 percent of those canceled contracts through late February will likely not save the government any money.
“They'll end up costing more in some way, whether it's time, inconvenience, or money,” says the second auditor.
But the auditors say that there are ways DOGE could get it right. “If DOGE wanted to be the good guys, they could,” says the first auditor. “I’d start by looking at existing Inspector General recommendations.” On the website for the Inspector General for the Department of Health and Human Services, for instance, there are more than 1,200 recommendations that have yet to be implemented that could potentially save the government hundreds of millions of dollars.
In an interview on FOX Business with Larry Kudlow, when asked about how his team was identifying what to go after in the government, Musk replied, “We look at the president's executive orders, and we also just follow the money.”
The auditors say they aren’t necessarily against bringing in people from outside the government to help streamline government processes—something that the government was already doing before Trump was sworn in for his second term. For instance, 18F, the digital services agency within the GSA’s Technology Transformation Services, was explicitly designed to serve as an in-house consultancy that would allow federal agencies to leverage private sector expertise. As part of DOGE’s sweep of the government, however, it has gutted the group, putting a pause on several ongoing projects to make government services more efficient for users.
And it’s these actions, the second auditor says, that best show that DOGE’s intentions may not be geared toward “efficiency” at all. “It’s a con,” they allege.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

You were a quite discrete young woman and your definition of a good way to flirt was to stare at the one you’re interested in, in hopes they would make the first move. But as years went on, you realised it probably wasn’t an efficient technique. Giving up on love forever had crossed your mind several times… or, well, that was until you met a certain workaholic man.
You had worked extra hard to earn a position as Orter’s assistant, and you were quite happy with it. Working around him was refreshing in a way that most of the things you had to do was bringing him coffee, delivering and bringing his paperwork (an impressive quantity of it, you would’ve never guessed the Bureau required so much of it) and reminding him of meetings and important appointments; simple tasks that didn’t require much effort.
Orter was never the kind of man to talk a lot about his feelings, or talk in general, but there was something you couldn’t quite pinpoint that gave him such an irresistible charisma. Was it his impeccable appearance on a daily basis, or maybe his flawless allure? Perhaps the authoritative voice and golden eyes were a part of it? It was hard to tell; but it was rather obvious that you liked him quite a lot.
This is when your personality shifted completely. You don’t get anything without trying, and you were definitely going to shoot your shot with him. How? …by flirting, of course! Sure, you were potentially awful at it, but he was rather dense when it came to this, so he probably wouldn’t know the difference.
However, most people would call it seduction rather than flirting, the way you bent over slightly more than necessary when picking something up, or how your hand brushed delicately against his own when you handed him documents, even the way you looked at him. Every single gesture was carefully calculated in order to make him see you as more than his assistant.
He was so hardworking and diligent, it was hard not to root for him. Besides, with the amount of effort he put into every single working day, the poor man was probably very stressed out, and quite honestly… the things you would do to him if only to allow him to… alleviate this stress was between you and the gods only.
Today was a regular day and your shift had just started. You had brought him coffee, as usual, and were sitting in a corner of his office to arrange his meetings and appointments at reasonable hours and within convenient timings to try and make his life easier, but the schedule you had made for him required inspection, and so, you slowly stood up and graciously made your way to his chair, your hand softly reaching for his shoulder.
“Mr. Mádl,” you cooed, leaning a bit towards him, your voice just deep enough to hit these sultry notes. “Your schedule is complete, please do tell me if you see any… issues with it.” You trailed off, slowly brushing your hand off him. He gave it a quick glance, then looked up at you for a second, his expression unreadable, before reading the schedule you had handed him.
You leaned in a bit closer, your shoulder close to his now and your face too, your delicate fingers pointing out certain things that might still need approval on the other party or a few elements you’d change if he so desired. He simply gave a nod and handed it back to you, and you made sure that your soft hands would very faintly caress his own as you took the paper back. “Thank you, I’ll get your coffee now~” you purred with a slight chuckle, and at this point he was just feeling disoriented.
“Don’t leave yet, I have questions.” His voice was, as per usual, unreadable; Orter always had this same flat tone and it was quite hard to discern his emotions. “You have been very… tactile, for a while now.” He crossed his arms softly and lowered his glasses a little bit, his eyes on you. “Care to explain?”
So he had noticed. What to do now? Should you come clean and confess that you’re intentionally flirting with him, or should you pretend you’re innocent and plead not guilty? The latter was probably safer if you wanted to keep your job, because openly flirting with your boss was a shitty idea from the start anyway, but you just couldn’t help it.
“Pray, tell, whatever are you talking about, Mr. Mádl?” You mused, your fingertips hiding your lips and this faint smile while your gentle eyes rested on his. “Is everything alright?” You faked concern, your eyes supposedly betraying a hint of worry, and he only gave a sigh and closed his eyes, sighing deeply.
“Miss (L/N), I may be dense, but I am no fool.” He started calmly, but anyone could’ve told he was running short on patience, and you were probably not going to help with this. “If you value your position at the Bureau, I would suggest you cooperate when I ask you a question.” Orter opened his eyes again, his doubtful gaze on your deceitful eyes.
“Oh, Mr. Mádl…” you sighed softly with a gentle smile as you took a few steps back towards his desk and softly put the schedule back on it, then slowly made your way to his chair, leaning forwards just enough so your cleavage was a tiny bit revealing. “Let a girl feel attractive, at least for herself~” you cooed again, and he seemed to lose patience even more.
You looked at his glasses on the tip of his nose, at his tie that was obviously too tight, at his shirt you would love to see on the floor, and at his hands, then his lips… before looking back into his eyes with sultry eyes and a gentle, polite smile. You couldn’t help but run your fingers against his forehead, brushing away his soft bangs, your hand then landing on his shoulder and softly caressing its way away from him.
“But I will admit…” You brought your fingertips to your lips again to conceal this faint, smug smile that was creeping up on your face now. “...I do enjoy being tactile around such a… handsome man.” A small giggle escaped your lips as you playfully stuck your tongue out to try and get a reaction out of him.
“You are infuriating, you know that?” He spat, his scolding glare on yours. You raised both eyebrows in surprise; seeing Orter speak his mind was very uncharacteristic and frankly enough, you didn’t expect him to feel this bothered with your behaviour. Were you going to stop teasing him though? Absolutely not. You gave a pout and pushed his glasses back into their spot and took a few steps back, making him angrier than he was before.
Your flirtatious personality was pissing him off more than anything else, but you couldn’t help it, he was just that irresistible. Even though you knew you would probably ruin your chances with him, deep inside, you knew he was just a man, and no matter how lawful he was, he would eventually give in. After all, he couldn’t resist his adorable assistant… right?
“Damn…” You trailed off, looking at him with a raised eyebrow and your arms crossed. “You look very sexy when you get angry.” Oh, the look he gave you was priceless. You could feel all the intensity of his golden eyes right into yours, and he stood up slowly, walking towards you. He stopped and looked down at your smug smile.
“You are insufferable— worse, even.” He sighed deeply, clenching his fists. “I’ll wipe that smirk off your face.” He grabbed you by the collar, his expression way more serious than you thought it would be. It wasn’t the playful argument you had hoped for; he was genuinely mad this time. It was quite a surprise to you, but his behaviour had finally changed and you could not let this opportunity slide.
“Do your worst, Mr. Sandman~!” You teased with a chuckle, and were only met with a low growl and a rough grab of your waist, pulling you closer to him, your face mere inches away from his. Your eyes travelled down to his lips and you were so, so tempted to kiss him right here, right now to taunt him more… and you did. A quick, gentle peck was all it took for him to run a hand over his desktop and throw all of his paperwork to the floor, pinning you down on your back against his desk.
“Oh I fucking will.”
Orter undid your waistcoat and ripped your buttons off, exposing your chest to his now hungry eyes. He grabbed you by the front of your bra and brought your chest closer to his, his hips pinning yours against the edge of his desk, and suddenly, you realised he was probably going to make you regret everything you’ve done so far. It started with him removing his belt with one hand and holding both of your cheeks with the other one.
He quickly wrapped his belt around your wrists and pinned you back down against the desk, his hand pressing against your belly just enough to keep you from squirming, and he slowly brought it up towards your bra, slipping a finger underneath it to tug a little bit on it. But that wasn’t nearly enough to quiet you down.
“Bit bold, aren’t we, Mr. Sandman?”
He didn’t reply, but instead decided to grab your bra with his fist, and you could feel the disaster happen as he ripped it completely, denying you of your only comfortable bra. A surprised yelp escaped your lips, and he finally started to look satisfied. “Bit shy, aren’t we, Miss assistant?” He asked with a chuckle, yet his face remained completely neutral.
You couldn’t help but feel slightly embarrassed as you didn’t expect him to actually expose you like this and forever ruin a piece of your clothing, but he didn’t stop here. He forcefully folded your arms behind your back, and if you weren’t so turned on by the situation, it would’ve probably hurt you a lot. Now that your hands were out of the way, he brought both hands to your breasts and started feeling them up, roughly pressing them into his calloused palms and fingers.
Orter’s fingers tentatively rubbed against your hardened nipples, eliciting a quiet groan from you and a slight squirm of your hips, but he quickly held you in place with his own. “Stop squirming, you asked for it.” He grunted with another roll of his hips against your crotch, effectively silencing any protests you had, as they died with another lustful groan.
He could feel his pants becoming tighter and tighter from your sweet sweet voice, and obviously, his clothed boner rubbing underneath your skirt did not help; he could feel your moist panties through his clothing and it was driving him crazy.
“Someone’s enjoying a little discipline, mh?” He asked with a condescending tone, and you couldn’t do anything but nod quickly, your cheeks slightly flushed from how bold he had grown over the last few minutes. Everytime his erection pressed against your aching clit, it felt like you were getting wetter. Your cunt was clenching around nothing and you physically felt the need to have him inside of you.
Unfortunately, he seemed determined to tease you. His hand grabbed both of your cheeks again, making you look straight into his eyes as he leaned forwards and slipped his hand underneath your skirt, running his fingers against your damp panties, making you shiver in delight and sheer lust.
“A-ah, Orter—”
He pressed your cheeks harder in an urge to silence you again, not wanting to hear anything else than your needy groans and whimpers. He slipped his fingers inside your panties and straight-up pressed against your clit, looking into your eyes as you whined loudly, making him raise his eyebrows in a condescending fashion. “Oh~ is my little assistant enjoying her punishment?”
You nodded quickly again, making him bite his lip, his gaze shifting from condescending to lustful, and he couldn’t help but lean forwards, holding your face in place so he could look at you while you squirmed under his touch. He rubbed your sensitive clit harder and faster, listening to your whimpers as if they were a musical masterpiece, licking his lips in hunger at the feeling of your crotch getting wetter.
Orter’s eyes never left yours as he expertly stimulated you further, making your thighs and hips tremble, the feeling of this knot growing inside your stomach. As your trembling reached its peak and your moans got louder, he pulled his hand out of your panties and gave his finger a teasing lick, looking down on you with a mocking glare.
“You didn’t think I’d let you off that easily, did you?”
It was frustrating, so frustrating, but at least you were about to get a real piece of him now. At least, that’s what you could make of it; you were panting and looking at the ceiling when you heard his pants’ zipper go down. He wasted no time and freed his cock from his boxers, immediately rubbing it inside your panties, collecting your juices.
The way his tip rubbed against your puffy clit again sent shocks down your spine and you couldn’t help but whine a bit louder in such a needy, pathetic way. You’d gotten so wet for him, and he was blissfully aware of that fact. He then pushed his tip slightly against your folds, but retracted it and, for the first time, smiled at you; a cruel, mocking smile.
“Beg.”
You couldn’t take it anymore and didn’t want to waste any more time, and so you did not hesitate. Your hips were already bucking into his unwillingly, your body practically physically aching at the lack of his dick.
“Please, please Orter. I’ve been really bad.. Please fuck me into discipline, pl—”
Your sentence did not entirely go through as he pushed forward, effectively filling you up with his large member, making you shakily whimper from the pleasure, as he grabbed both of your hips and started rutting into you like a madman. You couldn’t help but wonder if your coworkers (or anyone walking through the corridor at this very moment) would hear your pitiful cries of pleasure, and it seems he thought the same.
“That’s it, good girl. Let them know how you deserve to be treated.”
Not because he told you so though, but his words made you painfully tighten around his cock, crying out loud in sheer bliss from his rough thrusts and the way your body jolted up everytime he pushed forwards. Tears pricked in the corners of your eyes and you couldn’t even see him properly anymore.
Seeing you cry from the pleasure awakened something in him and he decided to make it even worse for you. One of his hands left your hips and moved to your crotch, his thumb teasingly rubbing your clit with the tip of his nail, making your legs tense up and close around his hips as they immediately raised up and he had to push you back down with the hand that was holding you back as you quite literally wailed from the stimulation.
You were sweaty, flushed, shaking in pleasure and it was clear the paperwork that was under your hips was ruined forever, but he didn’t seem bothered by it. Instead, he pressed his thumb more firmly against your needy clit and rubbed it more and more, pushing you closer and closer to the edge.
Your trembling cunt was clenching around his cock as he plummeted forwards with each movement of his hips, only to see you drool and cry more from his ministrations. He could feel himself get close as well, and decided that you’d be the first to go! What a gentleman.  And so, his thrusts grew in speed and force, and his thumb was practically crushing your clit, forcing loud shaky moans and whines out of your mouth.
“Orter, ‘m… so close—”
He raised an eyebrow and his lips curved into a smirk as he eyed the way your breasts were bouncing with every slam of his hips into yours. He was also quite sweaty now and his clothes were sticking to his skin uncomfortably, but he needed this release more than anything else.
He kept on drilling into your needy pussy until you started shaking harder, convulsing almost, and your legs closed harshly around his hips, but he didn’t stop rubbing your clit nor thrusting, he only pushed you back down with his other hand as he hungrily grunted in pleasure. “C’mon… come for me, be a good, obedient girl…”
And you couldn’t hold it in anymore; you came and covered his desktop, pants, and carpet in your sweet juices, convulsing from the overstimulation he was giving you as his fingers never stopped rubbing you and he fucked you through your orgasm. It took every fibre of his being not to fill you up immediately as you tightened hard against his cock, and as soon as you were done, he gave one last thrust, holding himself nested deep inside of you, and grunted loudly as he gave you your reward on the spot.
You were softly trembling from the overstimulation, your face covered in sweat, drool and tears, as you found it quite difficult to catch your breath afterwards. He finally retrieved his belt and put his pants back on correctly, adjusting his glasses one more time before walking towards his closet to grab a large coat, and he tossed it at you.
He sighed, then sat back on his chair, crossing his legs, studying your fucked out expression, visibly pleased to see you flustered and blushing from the steamy interaction.  “Go and get me my coffee, miss assistant. And get one for yourself, too. I believe we have important matters to discuss today…”

cultivating creativity and a deeper understanding of self⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🍰
Tumblr media
PROMPTED JOURNALING ;
shadow work and prompted journaling is a rly helpful way to get to know urself better. it cultivates not only creativity and a sense of identity, but also healing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
journal therapy is literally everything and i cannot recommend it enough. some shadow work prompts that you can use to start off are listed below.
what part of myself do i feel disconnected to and why
how do i let others invade my boundaries
what beliefs and behaviors did u adopt from ur family that you now question
what easily triggers sadness or anger from you. and what might be the deeper reason for this sensitivity
are there desires and ambitions that you feel embarrassed or scared to admit? and why?
journaling mainly involves self expression without fear of judgement. it’s like expressing urself without feeling ashamed so i highly recommend it for anyone who feels like they struggle with self expression.
SELF EXPRESSION ;
working on ur self expression also helps to kind of cultivate a sense of identity and knowledge of who you are and what u value. like i mentioned earlier you can express yourself in so many different ways. i’ll get deeper into the self expression aspect in the post.
PASSION ;
what are you passionate about? what drives u everyday? is it money? academic validation or academic research? maybe it’s romance or a strong desire for something.
it’s okay. everyone’s answer might be different but there’s no wrong answer. identify what motivates you and what ur working towards.
BEING BORED ;
give yourself the privilege to do nothing. give yourself the luxury of being bored. when ur not doing anything, this frees up ur mind to think and cultivate ideas and concepts, most of the epiphanies that i have are a result of my alone time.
when there’s nothing to do, you’re forced to think. and most ppl look for distractions and excuses to not spend time by themselves bcuz they don’t wanna spend time in their thoughts. they don’t wanna just be in their mind and i understand cuz at one point i was also in that position.
to break this habit and be comfortable in ur own mind you must first be uncomfortable. start small, dedicate a small amount time to just lay and think, let ur mind wander as far as you want. and the next day let ur mind wander for a longer amount of time and so on until you can do this comfortably.
CREATIVE OUTLETS ;
something that i’ve learned on my journey is that having a creative outlet was rly important for me to be able to cultivate who i wanted to be and to be authentic and original.
a creative outlet is a way that u can express yourself and your ideas some examples of a creative outlet could be
pinterest accounts - i have so many pinterest accounts and on those accounts i turn my boards to art. lately i’ve been interested in photography and photos in general so this was rly good for me.
a blog - starting ur own blog about something that ur passionate about/know a lot about or something that ur learning about is a great way to track progress and document ur journey
a journal - like i’ve mentioned earlier on in the post a journal is the simplest one to do in my opinion and i love it so so much
creating art - whether it’s pinterest boards, paintings, sketches, music, poetry, stories WHATEVER YOU WANT.
DEEPER UNDERSTANDING ;
process ur emotions in a thoughtful and efficient way and try looking deeper into ur behavioral patterns and habits. why are you the way you are?
what are you passionate about? etc etc. cultivate a relationship with yourself through self care and healing work. remember that healing isn’t a linear process and in no case will it be, but i think that u owe it to yourself to know and cultivate urself.

Kyle x secretary reader - secretary mini series pt1
wc: 505😉 (probs gonna edit this n make it longer cuz wtff)
warnings: jobs n fields in the military i pulled out of my asshole with no reserch whatsoever to sound intimidating, implications of moaning, i should be studying, my usual shit writing
Thinking of an office siren reader working for 141 as a secretary. You’re so sweet, but that’s what makes you petrifying.
Price is a busy man, so he shouldn’t tire himself by being buried under paperwork. So are his men, right? Following this logic, Laswell eventually agrees to get them someone with enough balls and caffeine addiction to accept the job. The dreading profession, ruthless art of getting crushed under paperwork meant for four men and about a couple dozen more. It’s insane for anyone to be able to keep up, so no one can, right? Wrong.
Your main tasks are basic: review medical notes, handle recruit admissions, write mission reports, analyze every mission, extract and process classified and crucial information so that the pathetic excuse of adults around you can understand it, write emails, update the military handbook, read and sign documents, attend briefings and debriefings, rate them and send the notes to the general, conduct the communication between map-makers, higher-ups, the “strategy-makers” (as you like to call them) and executives, attend conferences–
Okay, maybe, just maybe, it’s not basic at all.
But to everyone’s surprise and fear, you’re efficient. Efficient enough to have time for everything it leaves them curious and a bit jealous. Get your nails done, go shopping, do hair, make everyone coffee…? They’re scared of you at this point.
You’re also good looking, clean, fast, kind, oh, and. Good looking. And gorgeous. Did I mention that you’re good looking?
And you take care of yourself. Heels chosen, outfit matching, expressive jewelry, hair and nails always done–
You’re standing in front of the coffee machine, getting yourself a small treat as you plan what’s left of your day. You could maybe leave for a nice dinner or join the nurses in late afternoon gossip, you need more underwear, and basics to wear around the base out of duty… You should start shopping for a tie since the dog, Riley, tore it… You used the other one to tie thug’s limbs together 2 weeks ago. No rest for us women these days–
You’re lost in your thoughts before you feel a friendly hand on your shoulder– It’s the majestic looking one.
You two chat often.  “Hello, Kyle” your expression takes a warmer turn at him in a loose shirt and sweats, looking relaxed. His name rolls off your tongue smoothly, you like the sound of it. You could moan it–
“Taking a break?” He asks, attempting to start his usual small talk with you but you tilt your head in confusion. A break from what? It later clicks though. “Oh, I’m done.” You smile innocently at him, leaning on the counter sweetly.
He freezes, eyes widening. “With wh- like, done done?” He’s baffled, and you’re amused.
“Done done.” You confirm with a syrupy simper, handing him the other cup in your hand. Exactly how he liked his coffee… Now, what the fuck?
Mission: Terrify Kyle
Level: Easy
Status: Completed
Date: 05/04/2025
Remaining: Terrify Simon, Terrify Johnny, Terrify Captain.
To be continued…

I saw something about generative AI on JSTOR. Can you confirm whether you really are implementing it and explain why? I’m pretty sure most of your userbase hates AI.
A generative AI/machine learning research tool on JSTOR is currently in beta, meaning that it's not fully integrated into the platform. This is an opportunity to determine how this technology may be helpful in parsing through dense academic texts to make them more accessible and gauge their relevancy.
To JSTOR, this is primarily a learning experience. We're looking at how beta users are engaging with the tool and the results that the tool is producing to get a sense of its place in academia.
In order to understand what we're doing a bit more, it may help to take a look at what the tool actually does. From a recent blog post:
Content evaluation
Problem: Traditionally, researchers rely on metadata, abstracts, and the first few pages of an article to evaluate its relevance to their work. In humanities and social sciences scholarship, which makes up the majority of JSTOR’s content, many items lack abstracts, meaning scholars in these areas (who in turn are our core cohort of users) have one less option for efficient evaluation.
When using a traditional keyword search in a scholarly database, a query might return thousands of articles that a user needs significant time and considerable skill to wade through, simply to ascertain which might in fact be relevant to what they’re looking for, before beginning their search in earnest.
Solution: We’ve introduced two capabilities to help make evaluation more efficient, with the aim of opening the researcher’s time for deeper reading and analysis:
Summarize, which appears in the tool interface as “What is this text about,” provides users with concise descriptions of key document points. On the back-end, we’ve optimized the Large Language Model (LLM) prompt for a concise but thorough response, taking on the task of prompt engineering for the user by providing advanced direction to:
Extract the background, purpose, and motivations of the text provided.
Capture the intent of the author without drawing conclusions.
Limit the response to a short paragraph to provide the most important ideas presented in the text.
Tumblr media
Search term context is automatically generated as soon as a user opens a text from search results, and provides information on how that text relates to the search terms the user has used. Whereas the summary allows the user to quickly assess what the item is about, this feature takes evaluation to the next level by automatically telling the user how the item is related to their search query, streamlining the evaluation process.
Tumblr media
Discovering new paths for exploration
Problem: Once a researcher has discovered content of value to their work, it’s not always easy to know where to go from there. While JSTOR provides some resources, including a “Cited by” list as well as related texts and images, these pathways are limited in scope and not available for all texts. Especially for novice researchers, or those just getting started on a new project or exploring a novel area of literature, it can be needlessly difficult and frustrating to gain traction.
Solution: Two capabilities make further exploration less cumbersome, paving a smoother path for researchers to follow a line of inquiry:
Recommended topics are designed to assist users, particularly those who may be less familiar with certain concepts, by helping them identify additional search terms or refine and narrow their existing searches. This feature generates a list of up to 10 potential related search queries based on the document’s content. Researchers can simply click to run these searches.
Tumblr media
Related content empowers users in two significant ways. First, it aids in quickly assessing the relevance of the current item by presenting a list of up to 10 conceptually similar items on JSTOR. This allows users to gauge the document’s helpfulness based on its relation to other relevant content. Second, this feature provides a pathway to more content, especially materials that may not have surfaced in the initial search. By generating a list of related items, complete with metadata and direct links, users can extend their research journey, uncovering additional sources that align with their interests and questions.
Tumblr media
Supporting comprehension
Problem: You think you have found something that could be helpful for your work. It’s time to settle in and read the full document… working through the details, making sure they make sense, figuring out how they fit into your thesis, etc. This all takes time and can be tedious, especially when working through many items.
Solution: To help ensure that users find high quality items, the tool incorporates a conversational element that allows users to query specific points of interest. This functionality, reminiscent of CTRL+F but for concepts, offers a quicker alternative to reading through lengthy documents.
By asking questions that can be answered by the text, users receive responses only if the information is present. The conversational interface adds an accessibility layer as well, making the tool more user-friendly and tailored to the diverse needs of the JSTOR user community.
Credibility and source transparency
We knew that, for an AI-powered tool to truly address user problems, it would need to be held to extremely high standards of credibility and transparency. On the credibility side, JSTOR’s AI tool uses only the content of the item being viewed to generate answers to questions, effectively reducing hallucinations and misinformation.
On the transparency front, responses include inline references that highlight the specific snippet of text used, along with a link to the source page. This makes it clear to the user where the response came from (and that it is a credible source) and also helps them find the most relevant parts of the text.

Pairing: Roboute Guilliman x Reader(f)
part 2
Arthur's Note: Guilliman has a new serf and she isn't taking his bullshit. The Imperium held on with less for 10k years. Man will stop and take care of himself. I am also finishing higher than hel.
Warnings: General Grimdarkness.

★。------ \|/------。★
He could smell the food and hear you humming a little diddy down the hall; his gaze looked over at the clock, was it that time already? His stomach growled, which surprised him. That was not something his body did, ever.
Roboute smiled as he put the documents aside, you have gone and spoiled him is what happened. Not that he minded, your cooking was one of the few things he looked forward to in this new millennium. It was hardy and rustic, but bursting with flavor.
It was a home-cooked meal. It was real food.
When you open the door and greet him with your warm smile, the room feels a bit brighter. And now that the scent of his lunch filled the air around him, his mouth watered. Roboute wondered how you did it. He knew full well how much food it took to nourish him, which was why he was content to eat, or swallow the paste and other types of gruel. It was efficient and practical. But you didn't care about those things. At least not in this sense. Complained it lacked heart and care. That no man or woman could function eating such boring tasteless things.
"Good afternoon Mister Guilliman!" you say with that bright smile, "Time to let the Imperium wait so you can eat."
Guilliman chuckles gesturing to the cleared spot on his desk, "I have learned my lesson." he teased.
The first time he refused to eat properly you did something that triggered a long-buried fear. You slipped off your sandal and threatened to beat him with it should he not eat his meals. When tried to argue about what he wrote in his codex, his own logic was turned against him in righteous fury. That the codex should be a guideline, and more importantly you argued he was simply wrong.
Roboute realized you were not a woman to fight with. He knew what a woman could do with a sandal. Even thinking about it now gave him a chill down his spine.
He takes the platter from you and eyes the food. Large cuts of meat mixed with apples and peaches, clearly slowly cooked together to make the harmonious scent that he had been enthralled by. Heaping side of potatoes smashed, but hand by the looks and some of the freshest bread he'd seen in a while.
How lonely and depressed was he that looking at this meal, made by someone whose duty was to serve him, made his heartache? Surely if you were not his serf you wouldn't be this caring. If he wasn't what he was...
No, he refused to believe that. He'd seen you fixing socks and scolding his men, mothering them, some grumbled, but he could tell they enjoyed it. Someone looking out for them in a gentler manner.
"Hope you like it. It's something my momma used to make. Generally, it's for supper, but you need more meat on you. Can't find a Mister or Missus Guilliman looking half corpse half god."
Roboute felt his cheeks flare up, and his throat get tangled with the air in it. There was so much in that comment he wanted to unpack and he didn't know where to start. A rarity for the primarch.
"Mister or Missus'?" he asked with far more inflection of shock than he would have liked.
You nodded, "Yes, Momma always said we love who we love. Maybe you aren't so big on the ladies, maybe you are, Maybe you like both? Not my place to judge."
Guilliman felt genuine shock. So casually talking about him marrying like he was just another man. That such simple aspects of life were his to have. Even if marrying was something he thought on, and found himself wanting, he couldn't. Not in the current state of things. He was viewed basically as a god; a son of a god. No marriage would be from love, but pure disgusting lust and fantastical eroticism. It made him ill thinking about it.
"No, I mean think you for your openness, but I mean just the married part. How would I find someone who doesn't see me as.." a tool, a stepping stone, a thing, "well as anything but the son of a god?"
You shrug, "Well, that I don't right know, just a serf after all. But I am sure we could find someone with that big brain of yours and my baseline human charm!"
What if he didn't want someone else, he thought suddenly. He had you. You joked with him, talked to him about boring dull things like weather. You asked if he had hobbies outside governing. Fed him food, real food! Not just that, food your mother made! You shared basic things all took for granted or didn't see the importance of.
Why did he need anyone else?
He let out a small chuckle, not wanting to focus on the thoughts that just came to him. They were terrifying.
"I am sure you're right."
You patted his arm, "Well, I must be off Mister Guilliman. I have work to do, I am afraid I cannot sit and chat while you eat."
Roboute frowned. That was the other reason these extra meal breaks meant so much to him. You would sit and chat with him, about things not world-ending. What was so important you couldn't stay and talk to him?
"What work? Did I give you orders while half asleep last night? If so disregard them." Roboute replied before tearing into the bread.
Throne, it was warm and soft with a harder exterior, and clearly made this morning. You spoiled him, and he wish he didn't like it.
"Oh no! It is a little surprise I am working on. No worries Mister Guilliman you will be the first to see it when I am done. It is a surprise for you after all." You reply happily.
Something for him? He didn't like surprises. Hated them some might say. He couldn't work theoreticals and practicals when he wasn't aware of what something was. Couldn't plan for what he didn't know. But you looked so happy about this little secret! And you should be, as he had no idea you were working on anything.
Perhaps this surprise he would allow. He trusted you. Even if he was feeling moody over you not spending this break with him.
"Very well," he did his best to not look like he was pouting. Thorne was he pouting?! Roboute Guilliman did not pout! "I do hope dinner will be as normal?"
You perk up and smile, "Of course! I found a baby bird I wish to tell you about! Oh and we need to talk about your sons bathing! They stink!"
Guilliman snorted between large bites of food. Food this good would be considered heretical by the Inquisition he was sure. Mostly because he figured they thought all things good were heresy.
Satisfied he would have your ear tonight, and you his, you made your way out of the office and moved through the corridors. The fortress was in the cold mountains, and not ideal conditions for things to grow, but he was seldom down in the Capital. He was either in Hera or on Terra. It wasn't easy she convinced some of his sons to help her make this gift. There outside the fortress a small greenhouse. Well, small to Astartes and Primarchs. It had been so hard to keep this from Guilliman, and the strings pulled, but it would be worth it.
It was no Agi world Iax, where you overheard Guilliman talking to Lion about how he really did wish he could have retired there to farm, but perhaps a nice little garden would suffice.
