i've always just headcannoned that the killing intent some people give off must be insane with Gothamites.

like the Bat's and villains are a given - but I'm talking about like regular old gothamites, the everyday citizens.

like some rando decides to (somehow) go on holiday to like Metropolis and people are just?? walking on the opposite side of the street, side eyeing this dude, clutching purses, etc. basically treating him like a bad dude.

Superman hears a scream, goes to help, and it's this gothamite handing a wallet back and Supes is confused asf, like:

Supes: "hello, do you need help?"

metropolis citizen: "yes please, he's trying to steal my wallet!"

gothamite: "ma'am, i am so clearly trying to give it back"

Superman just takes the wallet and hands it back, and the lady like sprints the fuck away, and he turns back to the dude like ????? and he's just like "I'm from Gotham"

The omegaverse post is getting. VERY long- so I’m swinging into here-

At two-three ish years old, i think Damian would be on solid foods at that point, granted- he did just come from a cloning tube, so he wouldn’t have had any solid foods- but nonetheless, I don’t think Bruce would start producing milk.

Also, Pit rage + Dynamics?

I can see either that the Pit Rage is almost completely removed from the equation due to Jason having grown up with unnatural instincts, (There is a Lazarus pit in Gotham after all, he could have immunity due to being raised in the hellpit that is Gotham) or it’s so much worse.

Jason will either be almost completely uneffected except for being a bit more feral, or will drop into angry ferality at the drop of a hat.

And you know that Tim will end up being smothered by both Jason and Bruce- though, most often it’s Jason because Jason now has a little brother- one that needs his help and protection from his clearly neglectful parents.

Tim has no idea how dynamics work- and While very much annoyed by it, Atleast Jason can teach Tim how to be a proper pup with Steph’s help. (I can see Jason having helped taught Dick when he first came to the manor in a similar way)

And Steph will want to join in. This pack is a mess, but she she still wants to help. While She’s not full Wayne pack, she is definitely on the fringes of the pack. Not as much as Jim, but still there. ‘Sides, it’s fun playing with a big pack like the Wayne Pack! There’s so much chaos and Bruce makes amazing nests.

Alfred - Elder Beta

Dick - Alpha (Defaulted to Head alpha due to being the only adult alpha in the core part of the pack)

Jason - Pup Omega (Presented)

Damian - Puppy

Steph, Jim, and Barbara are on the fringes of the pack, so their rank in the pack often changes depending on what’s needed. But they default right above the pups more often than not.

Also, I can see all three of them being alphas.

First of all, yesss. Tim is slowly brought out of his shell and encouraged by the combined might of the entire pack. No, Bruce and Jason are not almost sobbing in relief the first time Tim actually responds like a pup should.

Omg, I absolutely adore the idea of tiny pup Jason helping Dick learn how to pup. Dragging him into wrestles and gnawing at him until he asks him to stop.

I feel like Steph tries to stay on the edge of the pack but slowly gets sucked in lol, not helped by the fact that she's Spoiler. And getting dragged into the Batman's side of a pack too. It is inevitable at this point.

Gosh, what if the pit rage like, he's fine and completely in control as long as there's a Lazarus presence- which is thankfully all around Gotham. But like, if he leaves an area that hasn't had any sort of death-juice corruption he loses it a little bit. Like he has to learn how to control it before he can properly leave Gotham- outside of emergencies where he has a pendant or something with a tiny bit of the Waters maybe?

Dai was sitting on their window, one leg on the frame and the other dangling down the yard beneath.

Anxiety always made them felt sick with nausea, dizziness and even fever fucking up with them, and around their 13s they discovered that letting the night breeze slap them while soaked in sweat trembling like a wet dog really really helped. So there they were.

Their appareance was rather... unusual, as how they usually went around. The fever made them uncomfortably hot, forcing them to get rid of their much more loose and inmensely loved pyjamas. They ended up with a sports bra and some boxers-like shorts, nothing more, contrasting completely their usual whole covered body clothing choices. All their scars on their arms and legs were completely visible.

They would never go out like that, not even around the house.

Their phone made a ring noise, making them roll their eyes in it's direction above the bed and among their previously worn now thrown around clothes. Their fever inducted shivering always took out all their physical strength to the point of being unable able to hold the fucking phone without dropping it, so now they didn't even try. Peach hissed from his terrarium.

They sighed, long and deep, burying their head in their hands. That simple rolling of their eyes made them extremely dizzy, ears ringing with the whole room spinning around.

If some sound was made, they didn't register it.

They also didn't register the person, or persons? Who seemed to be on the rooftop, apparently.

Suddenly and without warning they felt something fall on their head, feeling their eyes and mouth immediately covered. With the world spinning and their ears practically screeching, before even being able to react something pulled them up from under their arms.

The next thing they register between kicks and pushing and arms is cold, some metal surface. They get thrown and pushed into it with a hard thud, those arms now being it's owners whole body against theirs smashing them against that cold. A door shuts. An engine starts.

It starts to move.

idk but im theorizing:

they got crazy friendship aura is all im getting at like i bet in stories from their pov you picture them as loners because their personality fits a motif but from an outsider’s pov they’re cool with relatable hobbies

like those kids who just look like they got something interesting up with them so people naturally gravitate.

additionally i think their personalities fit in more in gotham, while dick and jason are more odd out

There's something supremely funny about how pple characterize Tim and Damian as loners w/ little social interaction when they're also the only Robin's to have named friends out of uniform. Legit all of Jason & Dick's friends are intrinsically entwined with their vigilante work meanwhile Tim was running d&d campaigns & Damian is over here reluctantly joining the gotham equivalent of the scoobydoo gang.

Tim's literal boyfriend is someone who he canonically knew in high school on a purely civilian level.

But what if all of Gotham knows that Brucie Wayne is a persona Bruce puts on for the public? Like they all saw him be a weird, quiet little boy even before his parents were killed. They saw him be a weirder, quieter little boy after they were killed. They saw him be a loner teenager who hated talking to people, who was always more comfortable keeping to himself.

Then he comes back after traveling the world and he’s suddenly a himbo playboy socialite? Either it’s all an act, or someone finally introduced Bruce Wayne to the good drugs. They’re more inclined to believe it’s the former considering they all start to notice that, while Bruce may always have a drink in his hand when he’s out and about, he never actually drinks it.

But they don’t say anything. They don’t call him out on it. He may be a weirdo, but he does his best to make Gotham a better place for everyone to live. He donates money to all sorts of local charities, he volunteers his time at soup kitchens, he donates brand new clothes and bedding and toiletries to shelters. He’s a good guy. Who cares if he’s a little odd.

Most Gothamites actually feel kinda bad that he must think he needs to play this goofball character in order to fit in, in order to be a contributing member to society.

So they let him play his role.

Then he adopts Dick Grayson, the little circus boy whose parents were just killed in front of him. Who’s eight years old, the same age Bruce was when his parents were also killed in front of him. And everyone knows exactly why he adopted him, because the parallels are too much, and they see so clearly in the way Bruce interacts with him that Bruce just wants to help him, that he understands exactly how Dick must be feeling.

And Dick is a very serious child, at first. He hardly speaks. He clings to Bruce’s hand if Bruce isn’t carrying him. He glares at people. When he does speak, it’s scathing, and he has a sharp tongue.

Then a couple years later, it’s like his personality has completely flipped. He’s goofy and silly and so very similar to Brucie. And they’re all reminded that Dick grew up in a circus, he’s a showman through and through, and they all know it’s an act. They all know Richie isn’t the real him.

But they let him perform, let him put on his show along with Bruce. Because Gotham loves the Waynes, and if they want to have a public persona to have some sort of privacy, then they aren’t going to stop them.

It’d been a little while since Martha learned of the many different universes and timelines -- in which she met an unfortunate end in most if not all of them -- and she’d be lying through the skin of her teeth if she said it didn’t bother her. How many poor boys grew up an orphan? How many Bruces and Juniors and other children lost their parents? How many lives were ruined because of the catalyst that was her and Thomas’ deaths. How many children can’t remember their parent’s faces?

Could Batman -- the modern timeline’s Bruce Wayne -- remember her face? Or did he have to use faded photographs of her to remember? Or was he an artist, who illustrated portraits of her everyday to keep her fresh in his mind? Did he adopt and raise his children in memory of her? Did he still celebrate Chanukah even though she was gone? Could he remember how to do the prayers in her absence? Or maybe, like many in grieving, did he burn all reminders of her, throw everything of hers away?

All of the tragedy to strike other universes was because of her. Because of some stupid pearls. Pearls she now wanted to tear from her throat and smash at her feet. But would that even do anything? What was done was done. Martha Wayne dies in almost every other universe. And in almost every other universe, it never ends well. She is a catalyst. A canon event. A domino effect. Her death spells tragedy for everyone else not even involved. And she blames herself for it. She hates herself for it. She knows what her death would mean for this timeline, so why does she feel like she doesn’t deserve to live in it?

So on nights like these where she couldn't quiet the thoughts haunting her mind, Martha would stand out on the balcony and stare off into the distance, listening to the sounds of the distant city she'd nearly died in. Sounds that used to be comforting, but now, all it took was for a distant shot to ring within her earshot for her crumble. One echoed shot. One loud bang.

And she's sobbing on the floor.

Some random thoughts about Gothamites and scenarios I’ve come up with.

Metropolis citizen: Yeah so my exams were cancelled bc some villain took over the city the week leading up to them so the school said not to worry about it.

Gothamite: Fr? Last time a villain took over our city he killed anyone who wasn’t smart and had us take extra exams.

Random Gotham kid: Hey teach, can I get an extension on my essay, my neighborhood was fear toxin-ed a few days ago and I’m just getting out of the hospital.

Standard Gotham High School Teacher: ohhh yeah…. Nooooo… sorry Jimmy but you know you had a week to do the assignment soo… you should’ve planned ahead.

Crimson let out an exasperated sigh, watching as the bag of chips got caught between the the glass and the shelf of the vending machine. He stood there, staring at it for a good two or three minutes, debating wheather he should just.. leave it, or try to get it out. After a moment, be took a step back, before kicking the glass of the vending machine. He didn't kick it too hard, not trying to break the glass, just trying to get the bag lose.

He kicked it a few times, and god damn that bag was stuck in there. He ceased his kicking after a while, staring at the bag. Just. Staring at it. At this point, maybe actually kicking the glass to break it was a good option in his mind.
