anyone else have multiple traumatic memories associated specifically with holidays/family vacations? because that is a topic I never see discussed in all the So You Had A Shitty Childhood, Now What? self-help books i've been reading. but for me, it was a significant thing. and the more i think about it the more it seems like this would be an (unfortunately) common experience. would be grateful to hear if this matches other peoples' experiences...

jonathan: "hey! i can see everything from up here!"
Dio: *daintily putting up some garland around the mansion*
Tippy: Hey, Vans, can you help me put our little "star" on the tree? *Happily holding up Jonathan, whom has a little tiara with a star on his head*
Vanilla: Hm? I'm sorry, sweetie, I'm Jewish
Tippy: Well, I'm agnostic but I'm still short!
Jonathan: *To Tippy* Hmhm, don't Jewish you had your boyfriend's height?
Vanilla: *chuckles, takes Jonathan and jokes* Let's just hope I don't Christ-miss lighting the menorah and set something or someone else on fire! *Sets him on top of the tree*
Jonathan: Wow!! I can see everything up here! Wow... I can see everything up h- dear brother, do you even dust? There's- why is there a flip flop resting on top of one of the cabinets?
