The little human fell asleep.

It surprised him that they felt safe enough to do so.

Little thing was tuckered out. He thought, finally arriving at the emporium.

The Radio Demon made sure to go through the back door leading into his friend's personal flower garden, not wanting Rosie's "flowers" to wake you when greeting him.

Thankfully his friend was already sitting in out in the garden.

She heard the gate open and turned to look at him. "Alastor, nice to see you again.", she smiled, but then the woman noticed the little figure that he held.

He pressed a finger to his lips, signalling for her to use a hushed tone before making his way to sit on the chair across from her.

"Hello Rosie, I apologize for the sudden visit but I need some new clothes for this one.", he says and gestures to the sleeping child. "Do you have anything around their size?"

Rosie covered her face with a lace fan.

"They're still alive?", she said, holding back her breath. "Where did you get a human?"

Alastor adjusts the child and makes sure they're comfortable.

"I found them here, in Hell.", he explains.

"Here?", Rosie says in surprise. "How could that be possible? I've never heard of such a thing."

It was odd.

No human could enter Hell unless they were sent there as punishment. So how is it that a human child entered the realm alive?

Clearly, it was something that was worth looking into.

You woke up to someone talking.

The red man was sitting now, but still held you. He was rubbing your back, which made you want to fall asleep again. You resisted though, wanting to know the place that you where in.

"-ere?", you mumbled sleepily, rubbing the sleep out of your eyes.

"You're awake! How good.", Alastor said and sat you up properly.

"Where are we?", you ask and look around.

"Remember how I told you we where going to my friend's shop? We're in the garden behind it.", he explains.

Finally, you look across the table and see a lady with a big hat, her eyes pitch black.

"This is my friend Rosie.", the man in red says and introduces you with the nickname you gave him.

"Hello there little one.", the woman says, keeping her fan up.

"H-hello.", you say and hold onto the man's red coat tightly.

Rosie lets out a small laugh and stands up from her seat. "I'll go inside first and let my flowers know that they can take their break."

"Wonderful! Thank you very much.", Alastor says.

The woman nods as she passes by and enters the building through the lavender back door.

"How long was I asleep?", you asked, looking up at the red man.

"Not too long, don't worry.", he said in reassurance. "Did you dream of anything?"

"Hmm.", you hummed and closed your eyes to focus. "There was a mouse who didn't like talking about cats or dogs, and then there was a lot of animals trying to get dry but they were still wet because they didn't get out of the water."

"Why not get out of the water?", he asked.

"I don't know but I left because it got too boring.", you said with a nod.

Alastor laughed. "I would too. I don't like boring things much."

"What do you like then?", you asked.

"I like reading on occasion, games and hunting.", he listed off. "I also like seeing shows!"

"Shows? Like plays or the circus?", you questioned.

"Yes! There's dancing, singing, and all sorts of fun things.", he says with a wide smile.

The back door opens and both of you turn to see Rosie come back from the shop.

"You can come in now.", she says.

The man stands up, still keeping you in his hold as he walks into the building. As you all go through the back room, shelves filled with boxes like up the walls and it has you curious.

"I'll bring the clothes to my office. Its better to be safe then sorry, yes?", Rosie turns to look over.

"Quite right.", Alastor nods in agreement.

Once in the office, you go through boxes of clothes. After testing out a few choices, you settle for something nice and comfy.

As you both go to leave, Rosie tells Alastor something.

"I'll keep an ear out. I'm sure some of the wild flowers can pick up some information."

"Much appreciated, till next time.", he says and starts walking away. "Come along now little one, we still have to find a way home for you."

"Bye!", you wave to Rosie.

She waves back before heading back into the shop.

"Now where are we going?", you ask the tall man.

"Somewhere we can rest and use a telephone.", he answers.

After everything was checked and the papers were signed, you watched as Hank and Mary talked to Sally about check-ups.

"We do check-up every now and then, but its nothing to worry about. Just every few months.", Sally reassures.

"Oh that's fine! Though, none on Sunday. I like going to church and I won't tolerate being late for that.", the older woman laughs.

Sally just nods with a smile.

The adults start walking to the front door and you're pulled along with them. The social worker exits the house and goes back to her car, turning to wave goodbye.

You wave back with your toy rabbit.

"Drive safe now!", Mary says as the younger woman drives off.

Now what? You think and look up at your foster parents.

"Let's head inside. Too cold out right now.", the older woman says, pulling her cardigan tighter around herself, turning to head back in the house. "Let's go Hank."

The older man sighs and gestures for you to go in first. With a nod, you go inside and the man closes the door.

"Take the tot up to their room!", Mary yells out from somewhere in the house.

That ticking noise is still there.

"Let's get you upstairs.", Hank says and walks ahead of you, going up the wood stairs.

You quickly follow and hold onto the railing as you go up.

Once at the top, you can see a hallway with a long light green carpet that has details of flowers and vines.

Swoosh, swoosh. You think looking at the curls of the leafs on the vines.

The man starts walking again and you hurry to follow. You both stop in front of a dark brown wood door, the doorknob looks old.

"This is your room.", Hank says and opens the door for you.

Its like any room.

Bed with a nightstand nearby and a lamp. The only thing that gets your attention is the big window. Last time you didn't have a window.

"I'll let you get settled in. You have a bathroom to the left. Dinner is at six." Hank leaves after that, closing the door behind him.

You can hear the floorboards creak as he walks away.

Its good that I can hear that. You think.

Dinner is short and quiet. Mary makes sure that you don't talk over the radio playing her favorite song.

"Go to bed after praying.", she says.

"Praying?", you ask confused.

"What child doesn't know about praying!?"

You're sent to your room after that. The sound of a key locking the door is heard after Mary closes your door.

Why was she so mad? You wonder and get ready for bed.

🐾 Kitty alastor is definitely the temperamental type. He will refuse to interact with you if he doesn't get to know you first and will only interact if he comes up to you first.

❤️ Little Alastor is also extremely picky on who gets to touch/pet him. His cg or Auntie Rosie are the ONLY ones allowed to touch him, especially without asking.

📻 He isn't into playing in the typical way you'd think he'd do. He's the kind where he'll "hide and stalk" whatever he deems as his "prey" and attack it when he feels ready! He's a lil kitty hunter!

🐾 Because he's a cannibal it can be a bit difficult to get him to eat foods especially the stuff he's usually used to. BUT, Auntie Rosie always has some snacks handy! Just a pinky finger or two maybe x]

❤️ If it's naptime, Alastor will ONLY allow himself to be tucked in and put down for sleep if you cuddle up, hold him and pet him until he's snoozing away (his cg is NOT allowed to move until he's awake again)

📻 When Alastor is upset he's not the crying type, he lashes out and isolates. He can be a lil violent that's because he doesn't know how else to express himself when he's so deep in kittyspace! Give him time/patience. All he needs is love and safe space ❤️

🐾Not necessarily a kitty alastor headcanon but I like to think he'd play with his shadow self when he's alone! He's not fond of many people in that headspace so why not? ^^

❤️ Alastor isn't a fan of pacifiers when he's regressed BUT he does like chew toys like teethers! Especially the ones with liquid in them! The only issue is getting some that his pointy teefies won't puncture :"]

📻 Kitty Alastor doesn't like talking much BUT his personality is very similar to how the Cheshire cat would act! (And he absolutely loves watching Alice in Wonderland for that exact reason too! But only on vhs)

🐾 He absolutely does make muffins but only if no one is looking

❤️ He loves to play dress up with his Auntie Rosie! She'll play his favorite music on the radio and talk to him for hours and hours while dressing him up in a outfit she "just had to see him in"

📻 Alastor has a hard time expressing himself and saying "I love you" more than anything so! How does he get around this? A slow double blink and a soft head but to show he loves his cg❤️

Warnings: reader's past love is gender neutral you can make them whatever gender or if you wanna keep em' nonbinary it's up to you! I imagine the reader looking like one of those flowers from the animated disney Alice in wonderland, reader's lowkey victim blamed for their death.

I had a dream

"[NAME]! Damn it, [NAME]! Open the door this instant! Please open the door! [NAME]!" The person that caused this shouted your name as they banged on the door, twisting and turning the knob desperately trying to open the door.

You were curled up on the cold tile of the bathroom flower, baby's breath flower buds were scattered across the floor covered in blood, you felt the plant squeezing at your lungs as more came up your throat, clawing it's way up.

I got everything I wanted

You didn't want to die, truly but you didn't want to give up your love for the by the way of surgery like a damned fool.

And now you pay the ultimate price for your love.

A pitiful death.

In your bathroom.

Not what you'd think

The flowers came and came out until it was too much, flowers filled your mouth and lungs effectively suffocating you to death.

The last thing you heard was the door finally being opened and a wail of pure unbridled agony following it.

And if I'm being honest, It might've been a nightmare

You woke up in hell, honestly not where you were expecting to end up but you suppose it might be related to how you die, you willingly chose not to get the surgery after all.

After the shock of being dead you realized you were a flower, a beautiful flower with human like mannerisms, like those flowers in Alice in wonderland.

To anyone who might care

You still had some of the hanahaki symptoms even in hell, it wasn't anything too extreme just, coughing up baby's breath and a stinging pain every once in awhile.

You eventually found yourself in the hazbin hotel, not as a resident per say but Charlie thought they could use a gardener, especially with the hotel rebuilt, and who better than the flower who died by flowers to be the gardener?

Although no one knew how you died.

That was until Charlie organized a little activity, having everyone write a short story and share it with the others.

And Niffty, oh darling Niffty, the first man slayer, resident roach killer, wrote a lovely little story about hanahaki disease that left a couple of the residents misty eyed, Alastor making a comment about how it was a foolish way to die, especially when there's a way to be rid of it and Charlie flat out sobbing.

Nobody cried cried, cried, cried, cried

There was only one thing you wanted to correct about it, just a little inaccuracy and when she bit back with a "Welllll how do you know it's not accurate?" You replied with a "Because I died from it? I think I'd know how it happens."

The silence that followed was stiff, awkward and suffocating, not as suffocating as the flowers that killed you but suffocating nonetheless.

"It's not as bad as it sounds! I mean it did hurt like a motherfucker but it was baby's breath so it's not like there were any thorns?" You attempted to backtrack, but within a moment Charlie pulled you into a hug.

Nobody even noticed

And so you decided to recount to your dear friends your involvement with the person who was the reason for those blooming flowers that had caused your untimely demise.

Niffty had a notepad out to write things down for her next fanfiction.

I saw them standing right there

You were standing outside your college study hall waiting for the rain to stop.

You had forgotten your umbrella and they offered to share theirs with you.

They had bright eyes, a warm smile, and a cheerful demeanor, they were like the embodiment of sunshine.

"Out of pure curiosity, do you like anyone? a bunch of our friends are getting together so.." you asked innocently enough,

They hummed, "in like a romantic sense? Nah-" they let out a nervous chuckle, "I don't think I'm really built for romance, I don't really feel romantic attraction, if that makes sense?" They moved to sit upwards, shrinking themselves into their yellow sweater.

"Oh, yeah that makes sense, no worries."

"Oh thank God, Anyways did you hear that-"

It could've been a nightmare but it felt like they were right there

And so you let it fester, and grow.

Petals turned into full baby's breath flowers, small but deadly if your coughing them up from your lungs.

And it feels like yesterday was a year ago

Day by day it got worse, until you ended up coughing up a handful of bloodied baby's breath in front of them during a dinner along with some of your friends, some who knew, and some who didn't.

But I don't wanna let anybody know

You booked it to the bathroom where it got progressively worse, they banged on that door and shouted until their hands were scratched and their voice was raw.

Alastor was out on his usual stroll through Hell.

Nothing much had changed. It was almost always the same. Demons rushing to get out of his way, passing by the colony to give hellos, and stopping by a café.

No changes there.

The thing that was different this time was when he passed by the wall of televisions. There was a little figure standing perfectly still.

Curious, he went to stand next to them and see what had their attention.

On one of the screens was a little white rabbit, hopping along on the bottom row of black screens.

Just the rabbit with red eyes and nothing else.

Glancing to the side, Alastor takes a closer look at the little one next to him, surprised to see that they were human.

A human in Hell? Not dead or tortured yet? A human child at that.

Not a single scratch or spec of dirt on them. Dressed nicely as if they were on there way to a tea party. In there arms held securely, a little stuffed toy of a white rabbit with a little black bow around its neck.

I suppose my day just got more interesting.

"Excuse me little one!", he kneeled down on one knee.

They turned to look at him with wide innocent eyes.

"Could you tell me how you got here?"
