mera i am so excited for TMDG, you’ve been dropping hints about it every now and then like girl you’re teasing us at this point (affectionate)
i can feel that it’s going to be a masterpiece, you are cookin so much for us like what did we do to deserve you 。°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°。
and the recent one with azul…it made me so!!!! (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) will you write something happy or lighthearted for our poor tako now that he’s home? i can imagine him kneeling on the floor gripping your ankles right now, asking for orgiveness and a happy ending lmao
also take care and keep safe always!!
Forgive the occasional teases!! I can't help it!!!! 80 pages in and I am vibrating with excitement AAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! o(≧∇≦o) it reads like Azul thought 4 with a romantic tone, so if you've ever wanted scary, yet also fluffy yandere eel you will hopefully enjoy it (I think and hope. ^^;;;;)!!! :D TMDG may just be my Jade magnum opus. I have had too much fun writing it and I think that will be obvious when you read it hehehe. Thank you for looking forward to it and saying it will be a masterpiece!!!! ♡( ◡‿◡ ) everyone who likes Jade (and Floyd) will be feasting because there are plenty of yummy scenes!!!!
^^;;; perhaps "sad" was too much of an understatement. It is a tragic fic for both Azul and the reader... If tako is at my feet begging for forgiveness, who I am to ignore him? ❀⸜(˶´ ˘ `˶)⸝❀ although I will probably write something fluffy for him! It looks like most are in favor of giving Azul his discord mod fic, so he may just get his happy ending after all!
Thank you for your kind words!!! <3 please also be sure to take care of yourself and stay safe!!!!!

“the tale as old as time”
The dorm leaders’ reaction to Beauty and the Beast.
-- from @shayclov391
A/N: It was mentioned on this blog a few... weeks ago? How Ai (i, heh geddit) lived under a rock because I haven’t seen Hamilton, Coco and Nightmare Before Christmas. So @shayclov391 (who had originally requested for Hamilton and Coco) asked me for Beauty and the Beast instead. Luckily, I HAVE WATCHED BEAUTY AND THE BEAST! It’s my sister’s favourite Disney Princess movie so... I watched it. A lot.
So how I did this... I sort of picked the parts of the movie where a certain character would react the ‘most’--if that makes sense. So this isn’t arranged how I normally arrange it. ALSO! This interchanges between the animated and live action version. Why? You’ll see!
Please enjoy!
-
You were lucky that you somehow managed to have your phone from your world with you. You couldn’t communicate with the people from your world, nor did you have your world’s internet connection--but at least you had all the stuff already downloaded on your phone... Including a bunch of movies from your world. After hearing you out, Crowley took you to Idia who managed to transfer most of the data on your phone into a new one made in Twisted Wonderland.
Thanks to that, you often watched and, or rewatched some movies from your home world.
You also decided that watching a couple of movies from your world, with your boy wouldn’t hurt... right?
Tumblr media
You had easily convinced Leona to relax with you and watch a movie from your home. He was never the type to say no to lazing around after all--and when you had proposed this for a date, he agreed pretty easily.
You had hooked your phone up to the television in Leona’s bedroom. When you turned around to look at your boyfriend, Leona had pushed all the pillows up against the headboard and leant against it. He blinked slowly at you, and raised his arms. You giggled lightly, before you slipped onto the bed, and rested your head against his chest. He wrapped one arm around your waist as the opening dialogue of the movie began.
You peered up at Leona as the narrator told the story of the selfish prince. He glanced down at you as it talked about how the prince turned into a beast.
“Were you trying to say something by choosing this movie?” he said dryly.
“Actually, no. I just really like this movie. Grew up with it.” you said, chin on his chest.
“Huh.” he rubbed aimless circles on your back with his thumb as his gaze shifted back to the screen. You pressed your cheek against his chest, and turned your gaze to the movie too.
As the opening transitioned to the song ‘Belle,’ you felt Leona’s tail twitch around your hips.
“Bonjour~”
“This is... the language that Hunt uses.” You could feel Leona growl, and you--amused--moved your hand to pat his toned stomach (you mentally cursed him too--I mean, how could he have such a nice body, but laze around most of the time?).
“There, there.” you soothed, amused. Leona grunted in response.
“So they think she’s weird because she reads?” He asked, and you nodded your head. “Well that’s stupid.” he grumbled under his breath and you giggled lightly.
However, when a certain hunter was introduced, you quickly turned your head to gauge Leona’s expression.
“She’s the one! The lucky girl I’m going to marry.”
His expression turned from curious to serious. His brows furrowed slightly as he seemed to give a little more attention to the movie.
“She’s the most beautiful girl in town. That makes her the best--and don’t I deserve the best?”
Leona scowled.
“I don’t like him.”
“Uhuh.” you said, your lips quirked up in an amused smile. Leona’s ears twitched backwards, and his tail was thumping in the way it normally did when he was irritated.
When Belle made a disgusted expression at Gaston appearing at her door, Leona looked pleased--you could tell by the way his brows smoothened--and his ears perked up. His eyes narrowed again however--with the way Gaston kept moving to cage Belle.
“I’m very sorry Gaston... but... but... I just don’t deserve you.”
“She’s smart.” Leona smirked as Gaston was thrown out of the house and into mud.
“That’s why she’s my favourite.” you mumbled.
“Me, the wife of that boorish, brainless...
Madame Gaston, can't you just see it?
Madame Gaston, his little wife, ugh!”
Leona snickered at the song, and you laughed too. You always enjoyed ‘Belle Reprise’--especially with the way Belle exaggerated her eye roll and sarcasm.
You turned back to Leona.
“How is it so far?”
“I like Belle.” Leona nodded, “she’s not the same type of strong that Afterglow Savanna has--but her wit is one type of strength.” but then he added--
“Gaston... I’ll kill if he isn’t dead by the end of the movie.”
“Leona!” you laughed.

You and Azul decided to snuggle up and watch a movie. Azul offered to put on one of the movies from Twisted Wonderland, but you told him Idia finally finished with your phone.
“We could watch something from my world.” There was a spark of interest on Azul’s expression, and he easily agreed.
Azul had seemed to be enjoying the movie so far. Originally, he was interested because it was a movie from your world--however he began to enjoy it in gusto when the musical number at the beginning happened.
“Are there more songs?” He asked you, his tone eager.
“Yup.”
Azul looked back at the screen, with a glitter of fascination in his eyes. He expressed a little of his disgust at Gaston’s actions, but went silent again as the movie went on.
“Gosh it disturbs me to see you Gaston...
looking so down in the dumps!”
You turned to look at Azul, who had a difficult expression on his face as Le Fou started to sing. He whipped his head to look at you.
“That irritating human... has a song about him?”
“That’s not the worse part.”
“Holy carp is he going to sing?”
“As a specimen, yes I’m intimidating!~”
Azul immediately recoiled into the couch as Gaston began to start singing.
“He’s singing.” Azul exhaled, and looked at you with the cutest confused expression--ever. “Why am I watching this abomination, sing?”
“Well... his vocals are pretty good...” You said, with an amused smile.
“No way. His voice isn’t that good. It’s disgusting.” Azul looked insulted, “I can’t believe I think there’s someone whose singing is more irritating than Rielle’s.”
“Who?” you asked, amused. The name seemed familiar but you couldn’t put a finger to it. Azul waved his hands dismissively as he focused on the film again.
“I’m exceptionally good at expectorating!~”
“He is sickening.” Azul had a disgusted look on his face. “No wonder the girl refuses to marry him.”
When the song finally finished, Azul paused the movie, and you looked at him with an arched bow.
“Tell me he dies. Please.”
“... I refuse to say anything.” you snorted into your palm--way more amused. It was absolutely refreshing to see someone’s first time watching Beauty and the Beast. Who would’ve thought you’d experience it?
“He’s a bully.” Azul’s lips curled downward. “I also feel pretty bad for Le Fou.”
“You do? You like him?”
“Well, not really. But I also don’t hate him. I think he should meet better people.” Azul sniffed haughtily, and you giggled. You figured Azul might actually enjoy the live action because it tried to give depth to Le Fou. (Tried being the keyword. Whether or not it was successful, normally depended on the person watching it.)
“Tell me at least if he’s going to sing again.”
“He won’t. I think the next song is actually pretty fun.”
“Oh thank the Sea Witch.” Azul exhaled, as he slumped back to your side, before he suddenly had a thoughtful expression and turned to you.
“Is it just me, or does Professor Vargas resemble him?”
You immediately choked on your spit and starting coughing. You could your eyes well up as you begin to laugh.
“Hey! Are you okay?” Azul yelped.
‘Don’t... tell him... I shouldn’t... say anything.’ you squealed to yourself as you hunched over.

It had been pretty easy to ask Kalim to spend the evening just watching a movie from your world.
And as expected of Kalim, he quickly got super invested in the story of Belle. He would frown when Gaston would appear on screen, but he especially seemed to enjoy Maurice’s personality. He looked uneasy at the sight of the Beast but other than that... He would happily dance in his seat during the musical numbers--he was so precious when he did that, that you found yourself watching him instead of the movie.
In fairness, it was very fun to watch the first time reaction of someone who hadn’t seem Beauty and the Beast.
"The Dining Room proudly presents... your dinner!”
You remembered how amazing it was to see ‘Be Our Guest’ when you were a little kid. The concept of moving dining ware had been so fascinating and hilarious at the same time, that you were slack jawed for most of it--and laughing the other half.
When you tuned to look at Kalim, you can’t help but remember the first time you watched Beauty and the Beast too.
Kalim was slack jawed, his eyes were wide and sparkling happily as watched the animated dining ware began to dance around.
“Try the gray stuff it’s delicious~
Don’t believe me? Ask the dishes!”
Kalim laughed boisterously at that.
“The dinner here is never second best!”
“Since Jamil isn’t here, I have to defend his honor. I’m pretty sure Jamil cooks better!” Kalim told you, with a wide grin. You laughed at that, you’re sure Jamil would definitely love hearing that.
When Lumiere would begin messing around with Cogsworth, Kalim turned to you with a shine in his eyes.
“I think Lumiere is my favourite character.”
“I can see why.” you said, with a grin, as your boyfriend turned back to the television and kept watching the musical.
“If you’re stressed,
it’s fine dining we suggest!”
“Lumiere is definitely right! A sure way to cheer up someone is to have a banquet!” Kalim cheered, his smile wide. As he turned back to the television, he began a running commentary on what he thought--about each of the named dining ware.
“Wait... they used salt for snow? Hahah! That’s so unique!”
“You know... Cogsworth is actually pretty funny!”
“Mrs. Potts is cute! You look gorgeous Mrs. Potts!”
“So is Chip! I would be friends with Chip. I would protect Chip with my life.”
You couldn’t help the smile that spread on your face as you see the way that Kalim was just enjoying himself.
You were glad you suggested this movie first.
“I wonder if Jamil could get dishes to move around like that during the next banquet.” Kalim wondered out loud with glowing eyes.
You immediately winced, and apologized mentally to the Vice Dorm Leader.
You had told him to take a break, and that he could leave Kalim to you... but you could just imagine Jamil’s reaction when Kalim would ask him to make the dining ware dance around with him.
‘Okay... so maybe I shouldn’t have done Beauty and the Beast?’ you thought.
‘Whoops...?’

"So this movie has two versions. One is animated, and the other is live action. Since you wanted a film with some fashion--I thought looking at the live action one would be better.” You explained when you had plugged your phone into the television in Vil’s room. “It’s a fantasy story, so the clothes reflect some historical fashion--but they’re not exactly accurate.”
“Naturally.” Vil nodded, his legs crossed, and a glass of freshly squeezed juice in hand. “Let’s see it.”
Majority of the film was Vil just watching, and criticizing some of the fashion choices used.
“The Prince is hideous. Why is he wearing that type of make up?”
“Is that painting how he normally looks? He actually looks fine. He ruined it with the use of make up.”
“Oh, the girl is quite pretty. Is this the same actress from the other movie we watched together?”
“So they made her be the only one dressed in that shade of blue? That’s nice little attention to detail.”
“Red is such a basic color for the bad guy but... go off I guess.”
“Gaston is hideous.”
“Those three girls are hideous too. Why are they dressed like that--nothing is flattered properly.”
“Oh those roses are beautiful. I’ll give them that.”
“The Beast is hideous.”
“Gaston is hideous.”
You sweat dropped as Vil kept making these type of side comments about the film, while gently swirling his cup of juice like it was a glass of wine.
As the plot thickened, Vil did get slowly caught up in the story.
“You’re making everything look so beautiful, we should have a dance tonight.”
You could see the interest in Vil’s eyes grow as the plot moves into one of your favourite scenes--the dance. When the animated objects began to put make up on him, Vil’s eyes twitched.
“Why are they doing that? He clearly has fur? Make up won’t help him.”
“Oh my god, Vil.”
“I’m only telling the truth.” Vil huffed, before he concentrated again.
When the gold floated from the ceiling, and moved to decorate Belle’s dress, Vil made an appreciative noise.
“The detailing is quite nice.... the tiers of the skirt are very pretty too.”
“I think I saw an interview, and they talked about how they wanted the dress to dance beautifully.”
“Well, I’ll be the judge of that.” Vil’s lips curled up.
When the ballroom comes into view, Vil hummed.
“Now that is a ballroom.” He looked at you thoughtfully. “Do you have balls back at home?”
“Nope. I’d love to go to one though.” Vil tilted his head, eyeing you up and down. “I think I can bring you to one.”
“Really?” the excitement on your face made your lover laugh.
“Of course sweet potato. Everyone should experience a grand ball once.”
“Tale as old as time...
true as it can be...”
Once Belle was twisted--her skirt flowed, turned, and seemed to bloom again around her with every single step. Vil’s breath hitched, and you turned to him--to see his eyes were wide.
“Now that is beautiful.” he exhaled. “the way the skirt moves around her... Alright I want one.” You giggled in surprise and he looked at you seriously.
“Sweet potato, I’m going to make you a dress that will beat anything you dreamed off.” you blushed furiously in response.
“I’ll... look forward to it.”

"Let’s watch this movie together!” you had told him with a bright smile.
Never able to resist you, Malleus immediately agreed.
“I thought this was one of your favourite movies?” Malleus chuckled as you softly snored away on his shoulder.
“Mal... I love this movie...” you slurred out in your sleep, and he smiled softly.
“I’m sure you do.” he told your adorable sleeping face. Carefully, he moved your head to a pillow on the bed, and he stood to turn the television off.
“It was an interesting film.” Malleus mused, but just as he reached forward to unplug your phone--
“I let her go.”
His head snapped up and he saw that the Beast had decided to let Belle go back home to her father.
As Belle got on a horse to rush back to the village the Beast began to sing as he gazed at the cursed rose.
“I was the one who had it all...
I was the master of my fate...
I never needed anybody in my life...”
Malleus tilted his head, to him these lyrics...
He could understand the Beast very well.
“I close my eyes but she's still there...
I let her steal into my melancholy heart...”
His eyes flickered briefly to your sleeping form.
‘Another thing we share.’ Malleus acknowledged, ‘We both have someone who stole our hearts out of nowhere...’
“Now I know she'll never leave me...
Even as she runs away...
She will still torment me...
Calm me, hurt me...
Move me, come what may...”
He righted himself and moved to your side. He tucked your hair behind your ear--and you nuzzled unconsciously into Malleus’s familiar touch. His smile grew melancholic in response to that.
“Now I know she'll never leave me...
 Even as she fades from view...
 She will still inspire me...
Be a part of everything I do...”
“One day... you will leave me.” Malleus murmured softly. “As all mortals do...”
“In the first place... I should’ve steeled my heart against you... but I am powerless to your light...”
“Wasting in my lonely tower...
Waiting by an open door...
I'll fool myself, she'll walk right in...”
"Yet... when you leave me... I’ll spend the rest of eternity waiting for you again.”
“And as the long, long nights begin...
I'll think of all that might have been...”
‘Mortal... so painfully mortal.’
he mused.
‘Do you know what you dangle in front of me? The true impossibility of what we share together...’
“Waiting here for evermore...”
He doesn’t move for a long time, as he quietly watched you sleep, peaceful--unknowing of Malleus’s conflicting thoughts.

Idia originally hadn’t been very interested in the film you were trying to show him. He kept getting distracted in the beginning, before he got hooked because the castle looked pretty cool to him.
By the time Belle had gone back to the village to save her father, Idia had clutched a pillow tight to his chest as he watched in anticipation--about what was going to happen next.
“Show them the mirror! The mirror!”
“Show me the Beast!”
“Yes!” Idia fist pumped into the air, “she’s giving them proof--”
“The Beast has her under a spell!”
“Wait, no!” Idia gasped, his hold on his pillow tightened. “Noooo! Lord damn it! Gaston shut up!”
On your end you clutched a pillow to hide the lower half of your face--because you were desperately trying not to laugh. At some point you had straight up stopped watching the movie--and instead decided to watch Idia’s reactions instead.
You never thought you’d meet anyone who had never watched Beauty and the Beast, and now you were seeing Idia’s very honest reactions to it.
You almost want to make him watch the original Star Wars trilogy too...
“He’s not a monster Gaston! You are!”
“Yes! Tell him! TELL HIM!”
You inhaled sharply as you tried not to laugh. Idia was really into this. He leant forward as the ‘Mob Song’ started.
“Kill the Beast!
Kill the Beast!”
“Oh my Lord, yes!” Idia exhaled in relief as he saw the castle occupants push to keep the castle doors closed.
“I know what to do.”
“OML... What is Lumiere gonna do...” Idia chattered to himself. When he saw that they had decided to pretend to be inanimate Idia cheered.
“[Name]! This is so cool! They’re so cool! That’s so amazing--!” when Idia whirled to you, he paused because you had clutched your pillow to hide half of your face.
“Why... what are you doing?”
“I am definitely engrossed in the film.” you lie through your teeth, as you struggled to hold back a laugh. Idia eyed you suspiciously, until his attention was caught by Mrs. Potts shouting.
“Grandmother? Attack!”
“You get them Mrs. Potts!”
When Madame Garderobe proceeded to attack that one villager.
“Oh hell yes! Gg! You dead!” Idia cheered happily.
Without Idia knowing, you were just... smiling while staring at how enthusiastic he was being while watching the movie. You began to think of other movies that you think Idia would enjoy.
‘Note to self, see if I can get Idia to watch some more of the movies from back at home... maybe he’ll like Wreck it Ralph? Big Hero 6?’
‘Either way...’ your eyes flickered to your boyfriend as he gave the appropriate reactions at the right time for Beauty and the Beast. ‘I like seeing him relaxed enough to be emotive around me~’

“Fight back.” Riddle clenched his teeth and his hands as he stared at the depressed Beast. “You have to fight back.”
‘He’s surprisingly into this.’ you mused.
“Did you honestly think she’d want someone like you, when she had someone like me?”
“Die Gaston.” Riddle hissed underneath his breath.
“It’s over Beast! Belle is mine!”
“No she isn’t!” Riddle gritted his teeth, his knuckles white. When he sees that Beast finally fought back, and was winning--his shoulders slackened briefly. “No... don’t turn back on the enemy... Please...”
“Belle... you came back.”
“Is it over? Is it really over...?” Riddle frantically muttered underneath his breath, and you couldn’t help the smile that spread on your face at how adorable he was.
That is until Gaston stabbed Beast in the back. Riddle’s face turned crimson in an instant.
“Coward!” he yelled at the television screen. When Gaston fell backwards to his death, Riddle angrily muttered underneath his breath how his death was too nice.
As the scene focused on the injured Beast however, Riddle’s mutter fell away as he concentrated on the scene.
“Of course I came back... I couldn’t let them... Oh... this is all my fault... if only I’d gotten here sooner.”
You peered at Riddle as he stared, concentrated on the film, his eyes wide--wet and you were sure he was ready to start crying.
“Maybe... Maybe it’s better... it’s better this way...”
 “Don’t talk like that. You’ll be alright. Everything’s going to be alright... You’ll see.”
“At least... I got to see you one last time.”
Beast let out one last breathe--
Riddle started to sniffle.
“I’m not crying.” he choked out. “I’m not crying.”
“You’re not crying.” you pretended to agree, but your lover was shaking as he saw the last petal of the rose fall to the table.
“Please don’t leave me...”
“I love you.” Belle whispered, softly, sadly--
Riddle was for sure crying now.
To think he had originally scoffed, and said he wasn’t interested in a children’s movie...
You had convinced him after telling him how it was considered a classic and was your favourite film--regardless of age.
When lights started shooting from the sky and surrounding Beast, Riddle looked up in awe with red eyes.
“Wait, did she make it? Did they make it?” he croaked out, he looked at you--and you gestured for him to watch.
The Beast--Prince Adam--now transformed back, turned around to show his human face.
“Belle, it’s me.”
Riddle watched with a bated breath as Belle drew closer and looked the man in his eyes. When a glitter of recognition passes through Belle’s eyes, Riddle exhaled in relief.
“It is you!”
“Ah, they did it.” Riddle smiled, relieved as the the other characters changed back into humans and the castle returned to its former glory. When he turned his head towards you, you shot him a grin.
“...”
“...”
“Okay... it’s not bad.”
“Not bad?” you teased lightly, and his cheeks flushed red again--except this time with embarrassment.
“Okay fine--it was really good.”
“Yay!” you hopped up onto your feet and shot him a grin. “I have a bunch more, wanna watch?”
“...Sure.” Riddle said grudgingly, but when you beamed up at him--what he originally thought was a childish waste of time...
became a precious moment you could share together.

Welcome Home, Dearest Friend. (Ft. Everyone!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You guys have waited for this for some time now and I truly, sincerely apologize to everyone.
To be honest, it took me three days to write this, I normally wouldn’t have taken this long but I had a bit of the writer’s block that prevented me from thinking of anything. For the first day, I was just staring at my laptop while I had an internal argument with my brain, forcing asking it to please work with me and deliver the long awaited sequel to my fic ‘It’s Time We Go Home.’
But here it is! I do hope the sequel meets everyone’s expectations! I hope you all enjoy it, thank you so much for requesting and waiting for this fic. I hope everyone has a lovely day!
You feel the cold air of the night hit your face and breeze through your hair as you flew in the sky. You took a deep breath, welcoming fresh air into your lungs and exhaling it out shortly after. At that moment, you had a good overview of the prestigious school that is Night Raven College.
Yes, you were back at the place that you so desperately wanted to leave a few months ago thanks to your best friends going to pick you up from your supposed ‘home’.
And you couldn’t be more thankful that they did.
“I missed everyone.” You said, tightening your grip on Ace.
“Yeah, we missed you too.” Ace replied to you as he focused on his flying.
“We all did.” Deuce added on, taking a glance at you. You gave him a smile before you all landed in front of your beloved Ramshackle Dorm. You got off the broom and proceeded to walk towards your dorm, however, you stopped yourself from entering.
“(Y/N)? What’s wrong?” Deuce asked you.
“Does… Anyone else know?” You turned to your friends, making them raise an eyebrow at you.
“Know? Know of what?” Ace asked.
“That I’ve returned.” You said, looking at them. They all shook their heads no.
“Only Headmaster Crowley knows that we went to try to persuade you, since we asked for his permission to do so.” Deuce said.
“Ah… Is that so?” You said, looking at the ground.
None of you moved, everyone just stayed deep in thought. It was as if time had suddenly froze.
Truth be told, you were feeling slightly anxious. You had just left behind your biological parents and family to be with a family that treats you better than them. Maybe it was because of your moral values and how you were taught to always love your family. But, you still were slightly unsure who was your true family.
The boys certainly took notice of your hesitation. They shared glances with each other for they were afraid that you would suddenly change your mind and want to go back to your ‘home’. They sincerely hoped that you wouldn’t do so, as it wasn’t easy living without you.
Suddenly, someone was laughing out loud. You looked up from the ground to see Ace laughing out loud.
“Ace? What’s so funny?” You asked.
“Ahaha, nothing, it’s just that… Remember the huge search party?” Ace said after calming down from his fit of laughter.
“Oh yeah! It was so chaotic!” Deuce said with a smile on his face.
“Search party?” You were confused, why was there a search party?
“We thought something bad happened to you when we found out you were missing, so, we had this giant search party just to look for you.” Deuce answered.
“It started when…” And Ace told you what had happened during your absence.
When they first found out that you were gone, Ace, Deuce and Grim searched high and low for you, afraid that something might’ve happened to you. When the other students, dorm leaders and vice dorm leaders caught wind of the news, a huge search party had been held in hopes of finding you. Everyone was worried and wanted to find you as soon as possible.
It wasn’t long before Crowley inspected the matter, after all, he couldn’t have his school in such a messy state. When he saw what everyone was doing, he assumed everyone was running around in his school without a purpose. But, something seemed off to him.
After all, it’s not like Riddle would run around carelessly, nor would Azul even run in the first place.
Leona awake and running? At this time? He should be taking his nap right now!
Kalim and Jamil flying on his magical carpet? Kalim never brings out his magical carpet out from his dorm!
Why is Vil searching in trash cans? Rook as well? Didn’t they swear to never even be a meter near a trash can?
Idia is out of his room?! AND climbing trees?!
Is… Malleus panicking?! But, he’s always seen with a calm expression all the time!
All in all, it wasn’t like them to act this way. Well, it wasn’t like them to act this way on a normal day. This made the headmaster so confused, he thought he was in an alternate universe.
That was, until Crowley managed to hear the words coming out from their mouth. It was a name. A very specific name indeed.
“(Y/N)!!” “(Y/N) Where are you?!” “(Y/N)!! This isn’t funny!!”
Crowley then understood everything and yelled everyone to stop what they were doing. Of course, everyone heard the loud voice of the headmaster and immediately stopped.
“Headmaster, not to be rude but, we’re trying to find (Y/N) right now.” Ace said to the headmaster.
“Everyone… You don’t have to.” Crowley said, dropping his head slightly.
“What? No, headmaster, you don’t understand!” Deuce said.
“(Y/N)’s gone!!” Grim continued, panic evident in his voice.
“No, (Y/N) isn’t gone.” Crowley stated calmly. He knew the students can’t really handle what he was going to say to them.
“Headmaster, what are you saying?” Riddle asked the caped figure.
“(Y/N)… Has gone back home.” Crowley said in a low voice.
“No, I’m certain he/she’s been kidnapped or something! If he/she went home, he/she would tell us yanno?!” Grim argued back.
“Yeah, it’s not like (Y/N) to not tell us if he/she’s going home!” Epel agreed with the furball. Your friends started to voice out their agreements as well.
“(Y/N) didn’t tell you all because he/she didn’t want to worry all of you. That’s why he/she left without a notice or a trace.” Crowley said.
“B-But!” Grim tried to protest, he couldn’t believe his ears after all. The one who accepted him, took care of him and loved him was gone? It couldn’t be true… right?
“(Y/N) is back in her home and that is final. Now, go back to your classes.” Crowley said before retreating back to his office.
Everyone was in shock. You left without anyone noticing nor even saying goodbye? They were kind of disappointed, but they knew if it was your wish to do so, so be it.
“Come on Grim, let’s get to class.” Ace said to the furball as everyone was leaving.
“Y-Yeah… Class…” Grim replied in a low and soft tone. He’s still in shock after all. As much as he wanted to believe Crowley was joking and that you were actually in Ramshackle Dorm, he knew it wasn’t true as Crowley would be panicking if you were actually gone. But, he wasn’t, so that must’ve meant that what Crowley had said was the truth. He felt like as if he had been slapped and brought back to reality.
And so, everyone carried on with their lives.
Or… At least tried to.
Inside, they knew that you accepted you as a piece of their world. (Hi, I’m very subtle with my references yes? UwU) Your presence was so strong, they couldn’t have ever imagined living without you. Yet here they are, living without you.
They tried to not have their true feelings show up on their faces. They tried going on about their daily lives without a care. They tried to not let your absence disturb their mood whatsoever.
Believe me Reader-san, they tried very hard. But, it wasn’t working. No matter how much they try, they feel a void in their hearts.
A void… Only you could fill.
Over time, their moods began to deteriorate.
The dorm leaders will be seen with their heads buried deep in their work, trying to distract themselves from your absence, even Kalim has gone silent. They didn’t want to be bothered at all by your absence. But, no matter how focused they were, they couldn’t do it. They knew they had built a good relationship with you since their overblottings. You always had little chats with the dorm leaders whenever you manage to catch them alone. You would always put a small smile on their faces whenever you started to have small talks with them and you would always smile back to them. They treasured your relationship with them dearly, after all, they were dorm leaders, not everyone who approached them was as willing as you. When they invited you to either have tea or just to chat with them, you accepted without any hesitation at all. They were glad that you weren’t scared of them even after seeing how dangerous and powerful they can get, especially during their overblottings. They were glad, that you were there to snap them out of their state, they were glad that they got to live safe and sound because of you.
Now, without you, they fear they can never have those quaint little walks and talks anymore.
The vice dorm leaders and upperclassmen are doing their best to support their respective dorm leaders. But, no matter how hard they tried to cheer their dorm leaders up, nothing works. They too had a strong relationship with you, thanks to their respective dorm leaders, they also spent a lot of time with you whenever you came to their dorms for tea or just to hang out with their first years. You would also lend a hand to them whenever they needed it, let it be taking care of the dorm leaders or the other residents of the dorms, you were always happy and ready to help them. And also, thanks to them, you learned quite the set of skills in cooking! You couldn’t help it, the vice dorm leaders are always seen in the kitchen, prepping for food for their dorms, the smell and looks of the food lured you in and you started to help them instead. Of course, you get to taste test the final products.
With that being said, they too felt a little moody without you around. After all, you’ve helped them so much.
Your best friends, the first years, they had it bad. Sure, for the first two days Ace, Deuce, Epel, Jack and Sebek went on their merry way, with Ace and Deuce fighting over everything, Epel trying to be silent but he secretly wants to join in on the fights, Jack trying to separate the fight and Sebek was worried for Malleus instead of helping to separate the two quarrelling Heartslabyul first years. But then, they began to notice that it wasn’t the same without you. Jokes weren’t as funny anymore, classes were more boring than usual, activities and outings weren’t as exciting and fun as they used to be. After classes, your friends would immediately go back to their respective dorms instead of hang around on campus. They would be so much more silent and gloomy those days and like their dorm leaders, they distracted themselves with work. But, every time they would still think of you. How could they not? Almost everything reminded them of you. The wind that would gently breeze through your hair, the notes that you gave to them while they fell asleep in Trein’s classes, the potions that you messed up during Crewel’s classes.
To them, you were literally a piece of their world. (I’ll stop now :’) ) And without you, their world is incomplete.
Grim, the creature you loved dearly and took care of had it the worst. To him, you were the reason why he was even able to be at this prestigious college in the first place. Heck, you gave him more things than anyone ever did in his entire life! You cared for him with all your heart and so did he! So, why didn’t you tell him, the one who loved you the most, about your departure? WHY?! Why did you exclude him from something so important to you?! He was heartbroken at first, he should’ve noticed your change in attitude a few days ago but why didn’t he? He was disappointed in himself for not noticing and for not caring enough. Every day, after classes, he would immediately come to Ramshackle Dorm and sit in front of the building, looking at the door, wishing, hoping that it would open once again with you on the other side, your smile greeting him as it always did first thing in the morning and receiving a hug from you like any other day. He wanted more than anything to tell you that he loved and cared for you before you left.
But, it was too late now, wasn’t it?
Everyone’s mood didn’t go unnoticed by Crowley of course. He knew how your departure had affected his students, because it had also affected him too. You see, Crowley treated you like his very own child. When he let you and Grim stay at Ramshackle Dorm, you gave him a smile that melted his heart immediately. He knew he must protect you since you had no magic after all and in order to survive in Twisted Wonderland, one must at least know the basics of magic right?
He provided you with shelter, food and clothing, like any parent would. And you looked to him as if he was your father as well! You actually loved to have tea with him and tell him all sorts of stories you went through involving you and his students. He treated you as family and you did as well. So, your absence has also affected him gravely.
At last, no one could take it anymore.
On the third day of your departure, Ace and Deuce walked past Ramshackle Dorm after classes one day to find Grim at his spot, looking at the door again. Once they saw his expression, they felt slightly angered. They couldn’t bear to see the creature so broken.
“I can’t take this anymore!!” Ace suddenly yelled out. Deuce and Grim turned to look at him.
“Ace…” Deuce said.
“I can’t live like this… It’s… It’s not like us!” Ace said.
“You’re right… We need (Y/N) back.” Deuce replied, deep in thought.
“How do we do that?” Ace asked as he went to pick up the gloomy furball.
“Fgnaaaaa, it’s not like (Y/N) would want to come back even if we found her.” Grim said, but Ace and Deuce ignored him, they could at least try to get you back right?
“Why don’t we ask Headmaster for any options?” Deuce said.
“Well, we could give it a try.” Ace said. “Come on Grim, we can’t give up hope yet.” And so, the three of them set off to find the Headmaster.
“You… Want to get (Y/N) back?” Crowley asked the two students and one creature that stood in front of him.
“Yes, we would like to try.” Deuce said.
“… You do know it was (Y/N)’s wish to return home right?” Crowley asked again.
“We are aware.” Deuce replied again.
“What if (Y/N) doesn’t want to come back?”
“Look! No matter what happens, we would like to try! And even if (Y/N) doesn’t want to come back, as long as he/she’s happy, we’ll be satisfied!” Ace said with a loud voice, lowering his head. Deuce and Grim doing the same.
“We… just want to know (Y/N)’s happy back home.” The three of them said at the same time.
This… Shocked Crowley. Never has he seen any students at Night Raven College doing this much for a student who couldn’t even use magic. He was truly touched. The headmaster suddenly stood up, making the three first years jump a little.
“Right, go grab a broom and meet me in the field.” Crowley said.
“… And that’s how we arrived in your world.” Ace said. You were flabbergasted, everyone felt that way about you? You silently scolded yourself for not leaving a note or notice informing them about your departure, but most of all, you couldn’t help but feel like you were guilty of making them feel that way. You were so sorry to everyone.
“So… How did you guys find me?” You asked the trio.
“You took the ghost camera with you right?” Ace said with a smile.
“The camera emits magical energy. Since you said your world didn’t have magic, we felt the magic emitting off from the camera and found your home right away.” Deuce continued. You were shocked, the camera itself emitted magic energy and you didn’t know at all.
“But… We… Wanted to ask.” Ace spoke up.
“Why… Were you crying?” Grim asked. You looked at everyone as you took a gulp.
“Ah… You saw… Well…” You started and told what had happened after going back ‘home’.
After hearing the reason why you were silently crying in your room when they went to your room, Ace, Deuce and Grim could feel their blood boiling. How dare they do that to you? You weren’t a slave! You were someone special! Someone that matters and needs love! Someone that they care for with their hearts!
“Hah… I don’t think they even noticed I was gone anyway. Heck, they probably were glad that I was gone.” You said, ending your side of the story. You looked up to see your friends looking at you in worry.
“But, believe me, I remembered you guys every single moment when I was ‘home’. I’m so sorry for leaving in the first place, I didn’t mean to make you guys feel that way. I’m so sorry.” You said, looking down and letting tears fall out from your eyes.
“(Y/N)…” Ace, Deuce and Grim said, before reaching out to hug you.
“It’s okay, you don’t need to apologize, as long as you’re happy, we’re happy.” Deuce said.
“Yeah, we couldn’t bear to see the one that brought smiles upon our faces be sad.” Ace continued.
“Thanks you guys…” You smiled and hugged them back.
After a few seconds, you guys pulled away from the hug.
“Come on, let’s go in, I’m pretty tired.” You said, walking up to Ramshackle Dorm’s main door and opening it.
Only to find a group of people waiting inside. No, wait. They were everyone you ever knew at Night Raven College!
The dorm leaders, Riddle, Leona, Azul, Kalim, Vil, Idia and Malleus.
The upperclassmen and vice dorm leaders, Trey, Cater, Ruggie, Jade, Floyd, Jamil, Rook, Lilia and Silver.
Your best friends, Jack, Epel and Sebek.
Even the staff, Crowley, Crewel, Trein, Vargas and Sam.
Even little Ortho!
“(Y/N)!!!” The group except the staff rushed to you and tackled you, Ace, Deuce and Grim in a hug.
“Welcome home, (Y/N)!!” Everyone said to you while hugging you. You smiled with tears in your eyes before saying a response to them.
“Yeah, I’m home.”

Sea of Thieves - TWST AU
Based off of @ihavebecomeapenguin‘s Role Swap AU where the First year gang and their respective dorm heads all swap years! This is my second attempt at writing this fic, so I hope you enjoy!
Word count: 2,130 (another record???)
Warnings: Cursing, fight scenes, Azul Angst because this is chapter three
Getting the leader of Savanaclaw to agree with their plan was easy enough for Yuu Prefect. Jack seemed to have the idea in his head that he was obligated to help the Ramshackle student because of how the recent overblot incident went down. Yuu didn’t dislike the help they were receiving, but Jack’s insistence that they slept in his dorm while Yuu fought to get Ramshackle back from the Octavinelle leaders was a little much.
However, convincing their new friend Leona would be a much more difficult ordeal.
“That has got to be the stupidest plan I’ve ever heard.”
“Well I don’t see you coming up with any ideas! I’ve only got a few hours left!” Yuu leaned against the door as Leona flipped the page on his magazine.
“It’s not really my problem, Herbivore.” He sighed and adjusted how he laid on his bed. “What could I do?”
Yuu stood up straight. “What’s wrong with you? You were all up for raiding the vault before, what’s changed now?”
Leona shut the magazine and tossed it aside, crossing his arms and sitting deeper into his pillows. “I don’t know, maybe I’m just tired of getting my ass handed to me by walking sushi!”
Grim snorted on Yuu’s shoulder, but the Prefect was not amused. “It’s a shame, really,” they began, “Think about how people will react when they hear that the second prince of the Afterglow Savanna turned his back on his friend. What would your nephew think of that?”
Yuu knew they struck a chord deep within Leona. He was on his feet in an instant and if looks could kill, Yuu would be dead where they stood. The beastman scowled at the human before him. “Fine, but we do this my way. Your plans suck.”
Yuu’s face formed a mischievous smile. Azul Ashengrotto had crossed a line and by the Seven there would be hell to pay. Oh yes, everything was coming together nicely.
~~~
Riddle paced back and forth and twiddled his thumbs while Trey cleaned his glasses again.
“I have a bad feeling about this--”
“You always have a bad feeling.” Trey put his glasses back on.
“No, seriously! What if Trappola-Senpai finds out that we’re gone? What if we’re too late? What if Leona doesn’t agree to help the Prefect? What if we’re caught out of bed? What if--”
Trey held up a hand. “Riddle, please. Everything is gonna be ok. Just breathe and let the chips fall where they may. Speaking of which...”
The mirror to Savanaclaw lit up and four people stepped out. Leona and Yuu approached the Heartslabyul first years while Ruggie and Jack hung back, already filled in.
As Yuu explained the plan, Riddle’s nervousness slipped away. That is, until his part in the operation was explained.
“You want us to do what?” Riddle’s eyebrows shot up.
Leona smirked. “What, you scared or something?”
“N-No!” He turned bright red. “I just don’t know if I have the skills to pull this off.”
Trey put a hand on his shoulder. “You’ll do fine.”
“Thank you, Trey.”
Grim gagged, the anemone on his head wobbling. “Ew! Get a room, you two!”
Leona reached over and flicked the blue appendage. “Shut up, be glad they’re here.”
Yuu rolled their eyes. “So, then everyone knows their parts? Good, then we can get going. The sooner we finish this, the better.”
The first years nodded and passed around the potion that would allow them to breathe underwater. Jack and Ruggie disappeared back into their dorm’s mirror while Yuu and company approached the dark mirror.
In a second, they found themselves in the Coral Sea near the Alantica Memorial Museum. As per usual, a merman guard was posted outside the door. The group looked around for the infamous Leech twins and swam towards the building when they saw that the coast was clear.
Yuu might have had their iconic resting bitch face plastered for their friends to see, but the fact that no one had tried to stop them yet worried the Prefect. Trey swam ahead of the group and approached the guard while the others took cover behind a rock. Yuu could hear Trey spit out a convincing lie about wanting to explore the Museum, only to be denied by the guard. Of course, this was expected and Trey struck up a conversation between the guard, giving a small signal that it was okay for his friends to make a break for the door.
They swam behind the guard while he was distracted and pulled at the entrance, only to discover that it was locked. Leona rolled his eyes and pushed up his sleeve, activating his Unique Magic.
“I am hunger, I am thirst, I am that which steals your tomorrow. Now kneel before me, Kings Roar.”
The door handle turned to sand and he pulled the door open, earning a glare from Riddle. They swam inside the door while Trey continued to keep the attention of the guard. Yuu had to admit Trey’s ability to lie on cue was unsettling, but not unwelcomed.
Finding the picture Yuu risked their dorm for wasn’t a hard task. However, they’d forgotten that the only other reasonable person was still outside sweet talking the guard, so you can imagine how Yuu felt when Riddle took his magic pen and smashed the glass casing around the photo without a second thought.
An alarm went off somewhere in the building and it occurred to Yuu that the last time they were here, there were two guards. A Merman in armor swam around the corner and almost called for backup, but Leona gave him a swift kick to the head and knocked him out.
Maybe hanging around with himbos isn’t such a bad thing. Yuu thought to themself. They almost laughed at the mental image of calling Leona a himbo, but remained focused on the situation at hand. The four swam back out of the Museum and signaled for Trey to wrap up the conversation that he was way too invested in.
They made their escape and began to swim back to the mirror spot, but two dark shadows in the water blocked their path. The Leech brothers eyed the photo in Riddle’s hand with amusement and smiled, calculated toothy grins. Floyd’s voice ripped through the cold water and sent chills down the spines of the first years.
“That doesn’t belong to you, Shrimpy-Chan~”
~~~
Azul watched the first years sneak through the mirror and instructed the twins to give them an hour to retrieve the photo. What he hadn’t seen was the Savanaclaw leadership watching him from their respective mirror.
The Octomer returned to the Mostro Lounge and felt that the establishment lack a certain atmosphere, but then remembered that the Leech twins were off preparing to collect on his most recent contract. He kept himself busy and waved the twins off when they departed, but found his tasks boring when they left.
The Lounge didn’t open for a few minutes, but Azul could see a line forming outside. He grabbed a first year from Scarabia that he had enslaved was helping out that day and positioned him to be the host. The doors opened and Azul noticed that a large amount of customers were from Savanaclaw, but thought nothing of it.
He returned to the VIP room and checked his phone for messages before sitting down behind his large desk. Azul looked over the papers on his desk and noticed that jade had dropped off collateral on a recent contract. Azul spun around in his chair like a supervillain - which he privately enjoyed doing - and stood to open his vault. He had barley cracked the door open when a first year from his own dorm stepped into the VIP room looking distressed.
“What could possibly be so important that you come in here unannounced?”
“It’s a mad house out there, Senpai!” The first year was out of breath,
“Excuse m--”
“There’s too many of them, we can’t keep serving them!”
“Show me.”
Azul followed the first year out to the Lounge’s restaurant area and stopped. Those students from Savanaclaw who were crowding the door? They had taken up every seat! They were yelling and cursing out his waiters and throwing glasses and sending back food they deemed inedible! And of course, the smug faces of Ruggie Bucchi and Jack Howl leaned against the door frame without a care in the world.
“Mister Howl, what is the meaning of this?” Azul tried his hardest not to scream in frustration.
“That’s Howl-Senpai to you, tentacles!” Ruggie snickered.
“I haven’t the slightest idea what you mean.” Jack had a smug expression.
Someone called Azul’s name from the kitchen and yelled that they needed assistance. Jack’s smile turned sinister. “That sounds urgent, you wouldn’t want to upset your customers, would you?”
Azul’s face burned red as he struggled not to explode on them. After all, he had a reputation; one bad day couldn’t ruin that. But he did find it suspicious that this happened as soon as the twins had left. Azul returned to the kitchen and kept his eye on the Savanaclaw leaders until he stepped behind the swinging door, narrowly running into a Heartslabyul student carrying a tray of tea.
Once he was gone, Jack nodded to Ruggie and the second year made a break for the VIP room. Phase one was complete.
~~~
If this was any other circumstance, Yuu would say that the eels swimming around them was majestic. However, in this moment, Yuu struggled not to show fear.
“What should we do with the little Shrimpy and Koebe-Chan and Lionfish and their little friends, Jade?” Floyd’s nicknames for them made Riddle flush.
“I don’t know, what if you gave them a squeeze?” Jade swam a little too close to Leona and almost got slashed across the face by long nails. Yuu looked to the Heartslabyul duo and nodded. The two had their pens out in a flash and went back to back. This part of the plan required concentration and almost perfect timing. If one of them messed up, they may just become fish food.
Floyd caught on to what they were doing. “Hah! What, is little Koebe-Chan going hit me with his little necklaces?”
Riddle turned even more red, but surprisingly didn’t lash out. Yuu looked over for a second and noticed that Trey was holding his hand to keep him calm. Yuu turned their attention back to Jade as Leona swiped at him again. Leona attempted to fire a bolt of magic at him, but Jade was too quick, easily avoiding and laughing at the attempt.
Yuu grabbed Leona’s sleeve. “Floyd’s magic! We can’t touch them!”
Leona swung his head around, smacking Grim in the face with his ponytail, and snarled at Trey and Riddle. “Hurry up, goddamnit!”
Riddle broke his concentration and glared at Leona. “I’m doing my best you useless pussy!”
Trey and Yuu made eye contact and knew that the plan was falling apart. Trey rolled his eyes and pointed his wand at Floyd. “Oh for the Seven!”
He activated his Unique Magic and suddenly Floyd’s smile fell. His multi colored eyes widened with rage and Trey gulped. “Riddle, now!”
Riddle spun around and pointed his pen at Floyd as well. “Don’t tell me what to do! Off with your head!”
The all too familiar clicking sound could be heard and Floyd grabbed at his neck. Riddle’s iconic neck lock was holding onto the merman and based on the violent thrashing from Floyd, it wasn’t budging. Floyd glared daggers into Riddle and lunged at him with a loud shriek, but Leona had crossed the distance between them and booted him in the side of the head.
“Floyd!” Jade rushed to his brother’s side and was relieved that Floyd was only knocked unconscious. He looked at the first years and down at the neck brace on his twin. “Just... go.”
They didn’t hesitate to swim back to the mirror spot and teleport back to Night Raven College. When they had finally caught their breath from swimming so fast, Riddle look down at his hands.
“I.... I just used my magic to harm an upperclassman. Leona, you kicked an upperclassman in the head!”
“Yeah and I’ll do it again.” Leona picked between his teeth with his pinky finger. Yuu looked at Trey. “So, how did you do that? The plan was for you two to cast that combo spell that Crowley showed you.”
Trey rubbed the back of his neck. “Well, I panicked and realized that my Doodle Suite might have been able to make Floyd-Senpai’s shield just not work.”
“Genius, even for a human like you!” Grim jumped onto the green haired boy’s shoulder with a smile.
“Thank you?”
“Don’t take that as a compliment!” Riddle squinted his eyes at Grim. Leona pulled out his phone and was amazed that it wasn’t dead. “So, Jack and Ruggie-Senpai should be done by now, should we head over to the Lounge?”
Yuu sighed and realized how tired they were. “Let’s.”
~~~
When he managed to get the last beastman out of his restaurant, Azul almost collapsed against the door. He got to his feet and almost stumbled back to the VIP room, but stopped dead in his tracks. His blood turned to ice and his glasses fell off his face. Azul made an undignified sound and spun around, discarding his glasses in his haste. He tore down the hall back to the Lounge, leaving the VIP room and the open, empty vault within.
Azul threw open the doors to the Lounge and saw Ruggie leaning against a wall, cleaning out his teeth with a toothpick.
“What have you done?!” Azul’s voice was nothing more than a hushed whisper.
Ruggie ignored him. “You know, I tried takoyaki for the first time today, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.”
Azul turned a furious red. “You mangy beast! Where are they?!”
“Is that any way to talk to a classmate, Azul-kun?” Jack stepped out from behind a corner, a large stack of yellow papers in his hands. “I thought that you would have more tact.”
The Octavinelle student glared daggers into Jack’s soul. It was a little unsettling. The beastmen could just feel the anger seething out of him. Footsteps could be heard approaching the three.
“I can’t wait to see the look on that Octo-punk’s face when we give him the stupid photo!”
“I’ve never said anything bad against an upperclassman before, but I hope he looses it!”
“Like how you lost it with Floyd?”
“Shut up, or I’ll forcefully remove that anemone myself, you little beast!”
The first years turned the corner Jack was standing behind and stopped. Yuu held up a preemptive hand to stop any wise comments about Azul’s clearly enraged behaviour. With their other hand, they held out the photograph. “Here, so you can’t say we didn’t pull through our end of the deal.”
Azul just stared at the photo and began to laugh softly. “You... You think you’ve won? You steal my contracts, you destroy my Lounge and you bring me my photo to rub it in, huh? I see the twins have failed yet again.”
“Yet again?” Called a voice from down the hall. The students present turned their heads to see the human forms of the Leech brothers coming their way. Floyd still had Riddle’s neck lock on and held an ice pack to his temple.
Jade’s eyes looked Azul up and down. “It seems you’re the one who failed here.”
Azul scoffed. “Oh please, I gave you one task: keep them from returning the photo to me! You couldn’t even do that!”
Floyd stood up taller and took the ice pack away from his head. “You know, I don’t like that tone you’ve got. Makes me want to squeeze it out of you.”
Azul seemed to mentally backpedal. “Well, what I meant to say was--”
Jack waved the contracts in the air to get the mermen’s attention. “Do you want these or not?”
Azul’s anger turned to desperation. “Yes! Hand them over this instant!”
“No I don’t think I will.” Jack sneered. Yuu realized that he was just toying with Azul. They almost felt bad for the second year dorm head, but at the same time, he had enslaved over two hundred students simply because they wanted a cheat sheet for finals. Jack looked over the documents in his hand and passed them to Leona. “Do what you want, I just wanted to see him squirm.”
Leona gladly took the contracts and Yuu realized what he was about to do. They made no move to stop him, but Jade’s eyes opened uncharacteristically large.
“I am hunger, I am thirst, I am that which steals your tomorrow. Now kneel before me, Kings Roar!”
The golden contracts crumbled into sand between his fingers. Azul shrieked again and fell to his knees, watching as Leona kicked the pile of sand at his feet to solidify that the papers were gone. Yuu looked to Grim and saw that the anemone on his head was gone, however the next sound Azul made got them to return their focus on the situation.
“You... you monsters!” Azul slowly got to his feet.
“Yeah what?” Grim grinned. “You gotta be a bit more specific.”
Leona rolled his eyes and turned to go. “C’mon, I’ve got practice to get to. I don’t wanna throw a pity party for that mess.”
Riddle raised his pen and the neck brace around Floyd vanished. He rubbed his neck and smiled at Riddle. “Thank you, Koebe-chan! No hard feelings for trying to eat you?”
Riddle made a disgusted face that Trey snorted at. Azul watched them start to leave with horror in his eyes. “No, wait! Fix this mess! Grim, I helped you pass your exam!”
“You also used me as a sponge!”
Floyd pursed his lips and crossed his arms. “You’re acting pretty lame right now, you know that right?”
Jade nodded and shrugged his shoulders. “Desperation isn’t a good look for you.”
Azul looked around for something, anything to make the situation better. Yuu sighed. “Azul, you did this to yourself. Now, if you excuse us--”
Azul got to his feet with a strange expression on his face. “Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait! I can turn this around! Just watch, I’m not boring at all!”
The door to the Mostro Lounge creaked open and a timid looking Scarabia student stepped out, patting his head where Yuu assumed an anemone had been resting. Azul reached out his hand and a small ball of light flew out of the chest of the poor student and into Azul’s. He stood up with a crazed smile and looked around the group as the Scarabia boy collapsed.
“See?! I may not be what I once was, but I am still leagues above you all!”
Leona groaned and spun around on his heels. “Okay, now you’re taking this too far--”
He was interrupted by Azul’s laugh and a snap of the second year’s fingers. Ruggie pushed Leona down and the ball of light Yuu assumed was Ruggie’s magic flew to Azul. Jack pulled out his staff and growled as he watched Ruggie faint.
“You’ll pay for that, Ashengrotto.” He snarled.
Azul’s laugh grew dark and menacing. “Oh really, Jack-Senpai?”  the title oozing off of his tongue like poison. “Why don’t you just lighten up and Dance with me!”
Jack dropped the staff and became rigid, but soon regained control of his body. Azul turned to Floyd, who’s eyebrows were furrowed in concentration. All of the commotion had drawn the attention of the other Octavinelle dorm residents, all of which fell prey to Azul’s greedy glare.
Yuu watched in horror as Azul absorbed the magic of every student who had unknowingly stepped into their worst nightmare, but it wasn’t over. Yuu looked Azul up and down and saw his purple gem becoming more clouded by the second.
Riddle noticed this too and raised his pen to stop the nonsense, but Trey tackled him out of Azul’s line of sight. It occurred to Yuu that if Azul got is hands on the magic of their friends, the fight would turn from bad to ugly.
Of course, as per usual, the coming tide was already among them. Jade dashed to put himself between the first years and the crazed Azul, but got smacked to the side by a large black tentacle that had formed from Azul’s cane.
The overblotting version of Azul stood over the first years, but while their friends saw the anger in those cold blue eyes, Yuu recognized loneliness and fear. This was by far the worst case of overblotting Yuu had seen when comparing the Heartslabyul and Savanaclaw incident together, and they had no idea what to do now.

Language Learners 🗣
Today’s lesson: How to Understand Sentence Structure
The language tips that I provide are usually in English/Spanish however, you can still apply your target language in the examples below because my language tips are for everyone and all levels. So, let's end our introduction and start learning! This exercise focuses on your listening skills and helps you add more vocabulary to your vernacular. Remember to speak in your target language the same way you would speak in your native language which is with a strong, confident pronunciation.
Tumblr media
Stop treating yourself like an outsider and join the language party! You have to mentally “become” native by thinking and speaking like your target language.
Things to remember:
-A noun is a person, place, or thing.
-An adjective describes or modifies a noun.
How to Understand Sentence Structure:
You have to accept that learning a language means that you leave your home and rules and move to someone else’s house to learn and follow their structure. It does not matter if you think their rules are odd or backwards. Just accept it, do it, and don’t contemplate about it. If someone tells you their name is Keyshia you don’t sit there and think of how to say it differently or how different it would be in your language you just accept it and say it how it was told to you. Embrace it so you can become comfortable and begin using their structure without any problems or hesitation.
Translating Based on Structure:
In Spanish the adjective usually comes after the noun. This is a rule in our new home that we must follow so we can understand and translate better. How do you translate “The red house” from English to Spanish? Well since we are following the rules of our new home and the structure says the adjective usually comes after the noun the translation will be “La casa roja”
How to Practice Structure:
Do you ever think to yourself the following questions/statements?
“Hmm.. What am I going to have for breakfast?”
“There is nothing to eat in the house.”
“I wonder what Tyra is doing and I think I will send her a text message.”
“Did I forget to flush the toilet?” Etc.
You need to begin incorporating your target language in your everyday thoughts and talks with yourself. Look up the words or phrases you need to learn and by doing so it will help you learn sentence structure, new vocabulary, different tenses, and help you begin thinking in your target language. So now next time you have to translate “The red house” from English to Spanish you will automatically translate it to “La casa roja” And next time you see an adjective come after the noun like in this situation: “El libro azul” you will automatically accept its structure and know that in English it translates to “The blue book.”

The Serpent and the Octopus [pt. 2]
Tumblr media
It was another day of mundane school work for the merchildren. It was the same old routine for them, from morning to noon they listen to the adults ramble on about something semi-interesting until the bell rings.
Azul looks at the merchildren playing tag and swimming about in the classroom, he scoffs at them and continues to study his spells. He thinks that they’ll fall behind if they just continue to slack off and waste the opportunity to be better.
He was focusing so much on writing a spell that he failed to notice the leech twins swimming up to him, Floyd poked his side which made the octopus yelp in surprise, nearly dropping his fish bone pen.
Floyd: Ahahaha! You’re so jittery today Azul!
Floyd grinned at him with his sharp teeth. Azul huffed and fixed the writing supplies that were scattered about from Floyd’s prank.
Jade: Don’t go around scaring people Floyd! What if I accidentally hit you as a reflex?
Azul huffed and looked at the eel boy with a look of annoyance. But it doesn’t seem to faze Floyd a bit.
Floyd: Don’t worry about that! I can dodge easily!
Azul: What is it that you want anyway?
Azul fixed the remaining scrolls and books that were on his desk. Jade had a curious gleam in his eyes as he leaned over the desk and huddled closer to him.
Jade: I just heard from the teachers that there’s another royal visiting our school today
Azul scoffed at that, what was so great about royals visiting when they have had a few visits in the past years? What was so great about this one?
Azul: That’s it? Another royal merprince or princess visiting isn’t news, Jade…
Floyd: But this one is special, Azul! I’ve heard the royal is from the Serpent Sea
Floyd’s eyes twinkled with intrigue as he said this. Now that is definitely something worth listening to. Azul has read books about the Serpent Sea from the local library, and they were all interesting.
How they live in a section of caves that are spacious enough to maneuver their long bodies, yet the maze-like tunnels will get you lost if you aren’t familiar with the area. And how it was so dark that sunlight could barely shine through the waters but with their bioluminescent bodies it was no problem navigating.
But what he was interested in the most was the theory that the Sea Witch’s lair was rumored to be the body of a deceased serpent. No one has solidified this claim but with the uncanny resemblance the lair had with the serpent folk it was a shocking theory to discuss to those who read about it.
Before he could inquire anything else from the twins the teacher came rushing in. Their teacher swam in the classroom and clapped her hands to signal the children to go to their seats.
Teacher: Class, I have a special announcement to make! As you all know, the Serpent King is currently visiting the Coral Sea for a political discussion.
However, this time we received some special news from our king! The Serpent King has brought his daughter along for a visit! We are given the opportunity to meet the princess of the Serpent Sea! Please treat her nicely, okay?
Most of the students were excited at the news and some were even speechless. Azul heard snickering; he recognized those two merkids who weren’t paying attention to the teacher. They were the ones who picked on him for being a slow swimmer and called his tentacles gross. He could hear their hushed conversations from his seat.
Merchild A: Princess… Pfft! I bet she’ll look like those ugly anglerfish. So creepy with large jaws!
Merchild B:I bet they’re more like those blobfish! People tell her she’s pretty only because she's a royal, I doubt they actually mean it!
As the two kids gossiped among themselves, Azul’s expression hardened into a scowl, he always hated how they thought so highly of themselves; that they weren’t ashamed of openly bad-mouthing someone they assumed would be different.
The merchildren started to go quiet as soon as the teacher motioned someone to come in, the majority of them were in awe as Cerule slowly and carefully swam into the classroom.
Azul had to admit that he wasn’t expecting the princess to look so radiant.
Her oarfish tail was glittering in the water, almost like a jewel, and the red fins looked like lace decorating the tail. Her red and white hair was styled neatly into a braid with a golden shell clipped to one side of her head.
For someone who was supposed to be the daughter of the intimidating Serpent King, she looked like the complete opposite. She had such a gentle face that would make anyone stop and admire. Azul could see that the two who were bad-mouthing her earlier had wide eyes and their jaws open, even the leech twins looked intrigued.
Cerule looked around the classroom, the eyes of all the people staring at her made her feel nervous but she kept her head high and made sure that she didn’t look the least bit bothered by their staring.
Teacher: Class, this is Princess Cerule! The Serpent King’s daughter, please say hello to our visitor
The students rose from their seats and greets her as they bowed.
Students: Nice to meet you!
Cerule: I-it’s nice to meet you too…
She greets the students with a graceful bow. The teacher urged her to sit at the available seat which just so happens to be next to Floyd. She carefully swam to sit next to the boy and made sure her tail wasn’t getting in the way.
The twins glanced at Cerule who was fidgeting on her seat, her tail was definitely too long and she looked like a group of canned sardines.
Jade: Are you alright?
Jade asked, seeing how uncomfortable the princess looked. Cerule faced the twins and wore a nervous smile, embarrassed to have to admit that she felt the space was too small for her long tail.
Cerule: Ah, I’m sorry… I’m not used to small spaces…
She looked away, as if she was ashamed to look quite foolish in front of strangers. Azul has never seen any royal act like this, she’s acting like a scared guppy in a room full of sharks. He had to admit, it was quite amusing to see someone of royal status act this way.
Teacher: Alright, let’s begin… instead of a lesson, for today we have a discussion about what the Serpent Sea is like
Princess, would you care to share with us what your home is like? We don’t hear much from the Serpent Sea
Cerule: O-of course!
The entire class hour, the teacher and students inquired about what the Serpent Sea is really like and Cerule was starting to feel like she would have a small chat with her father about how other kingdoms perceive them.
There were so many questions that were outrageous and it clearly doesn’t sound like her home at all. She has a feeling it was because of his unintentional wrong impressions; she is very aware that her father looks like he’s about to murder someone.
As soon as the class hours were up, the teacher instructed the students that they were drawing lots on who was going to be the tour guide for Cerule and show her around the Coral Sea. The students were excitedly writing down their names on pieces of paper and passing it to the teacher.
Azul went back to his studies as the teacher rummaged through the papers. He couldn’t care less about being a tour guide to a royal, it’ll just take him away from his precious study time. The teacher pulls out a paper and calls out the name of the student.
Teacher: Azul! Seems like you get to be Cerule’s tour guide! Congrats!
At that announcement, the octopus dropped his writing pen in shock, he looked to see everyone looking at him. Some with envy while the twins were mouthing to him with a teasing look.
Floyd: Lucky you! We’re tagging along anyway, there’s no way me and Jade would leave you alone
He felt uncomfortable with the way the merchildren were staring at him, but it was partially worth it since the two bullies were eyeing him with such envy, just now weren’t they making fun of her before she showed up?
It was satisfactory that he managed to snatch away a golden opportunity from them but then there is the princess… who was still struggling to keep her tail from wriggling too much.
He hasn’t formally talked to any of the visiting royals but he assumes that they would be the same. Know-it-all kids who think they’re better than everyone, despite his growing interest to know more about the serpents, he still feels like he should keep his distance.
As soon as class was over and Cerule was slowly getting out of her seat the other students who didn’t leave started to swarm around her. Cerule recoiled a bit at the bombardment of faces that got too close to her personal space.
They were trying to persuade her to join them instead, but before Cerule could get a word out she felt someone’s hand pull her away from the crowd.
Jade: Hey! Don’t go against what the teacher said. It’s rude you know!
Jade had a glint in his eye that warned them not to intervene as he swam alongside his twin. Floyd held Cerule’s wrist as he swam towards Azul with a grin on his face.
Floyd: Azul~! Try to keep the princess near you, wouldn't want anyone else to snatch her away, right?
Floyd has this cheeky grin as he ushers the princess towards him. Azul gathers his things and looks at Cerule and introduces himself, showing curtsey before the royal.
Azul: Pleasure to meet you, princess. I’m Azul Ashengrotto. The twins are Jade and Floyd Leech, they’re my friends, you could say…
Cerule: Nice to meet you! Umm… where do we go exactly?
She asked nervously, twiddling her fingers.
Azul: We’re going to the Atlantica museum. It’s the best place to start the tour
Said Azul as he gathered his schoolbag and swam to exit the classroom, along with the other three right behind him.

Drowning in Iris (Floyd X Reader)
So after a literal month of procrastination, I have written and finished my first Twisted Wonderland fic! Will I write more fics and/or oneshots? You betcha! Will it take a long time? Yes
Floyd X Reader Hanahaki au (Angst, I guess)
~*~
 It had started with a cough. It had always started with a cough. The uncomfortable sensation that something was squeezing your lungs, or perhaps filling them. You had thought it would go away in a week or so, as most coughs do, so you had no intention of making a big deal about it. These things did happen from time to time after all.
 “Koebi-Chaaaan wake up~” You were jolted awake from a dreamless sleep, eyes the size of saucers. Floyd had pulled your sheets off entirely in an attempt to wake you up. It woke you up alright. The frigid temperature of your dorm giving a shock to your senses after being in a warm bed the whole night. You groaned in annoyance. Sure you liked the twin, but you weren’t grateful for him waking you up by exposing you to the freezing temperature of Octavinelle. The sun hadn’t quite risen, so it didn’t reach the ocean floor where the dorm was situated.
 “Floyd-Kun, it’s too friggin cold!” You feebly grabbed at the sheets, still half asleep. Floyd only pulled them further away from you.
 “A- ah-aaah~” He teased. “It’s time for you to be awake, Koebi-Chan! The day awaits!”
 Well, it’ll have to wait a little longer. You thought to yourself as you slid your legs over the side of your bed. Your friend always took it upon himself to wake you up for reasons unknown to everyone- except him, of course.
 “There, I’m awake. Can you go now?” Floyd dodged the pillow you threw at him.
 “I caaaaan,” He flashed one of his signature smiles. “But will I~” Your skin prickled, and a warm feeling grew in your cheeks. His smile. His freaking smile. The tone he was using wasn’t helping either.
 “Y- yes you will! Because I’m awake now.” You stuttered, hoping to God that he wouldn’t notice your blush.
 “Hmmm… Well I suppose you are!” Floyd chirped, turning around to open your door. “After all, the colour in your face seems to have returned!”
 Shoot. He did notice after all.
~*~
 You didn’t see much of Floyd in the morning, you had different classes after all. But you did see Floyd in the hallways, and he greeted you with a toothy grin. Was it just you, or did they gleam a little brighter today? You shook your head. Now was not the time to be thinking of Floyd’s teeth.
 “Something wrong?” Jade asked, towering beside you. “I’m sure whatever’s bothering you can be fixed by the Great Azul.” His eyes flickered to Floyd for a second, and as if by some psychic connection, he too was at your side. Your back prickled and your heart climbed into your throat. Floyd was much farther into your personal space than his twin.
 “I- I’m fine, thank you.” You said in a shaky voice, obviously not convincing the twins.
 “Aww, Koebi-Chan! I thought we were friends! You can tell me anything! Any~thing~at~all!”
 Not this. You thought, face getting even more flushed.
 “I’m just feeling a little under the weather, it’s nothing to be concerned about.” You regretted your words as soon as they left your mouth.
 “...Really? How about we check?” Jade smirked, his eye glowing dangerously yellow. You silently cursed. Jade would find out you were sick in a heartbeat.
 As if on cue, your throat convulsed, sending you into a painful coughing fit. It felt as if something was lodged deep down your throat, and it wasn’t coming out. When the coughing subsided, and you could breathe somewhat regularly, you looked up at the twins, who wore equal faces of concern and surprise.
 “It seems that the only help you need is from the nurse then, Koebi-Chan!” Floyd exclaimed, grabbing your hand and leading you to the infirmary. Looking back, you saw Jade. There was a flicker in his eyes for a moment. Pity? Empathy? You couldn’t tell.
~*~
 The night you spent in the infirmary was one of many. You would have sporadic coughing fits throughout the day and night. Floyd- sometimes accompanied by Jade- would visit you after school and in between classes to bring you homework and keep you company. It did little to ease your pain, because whenever you saw Floyd, your chest grew tighter, and breathing became more painful.
 “Are you feeling okay, Koebi-Chan?”
 “As your best friend, I demand you to get better!”
 “Do you want help with today’s homework?”
 You could feel yourself getting weaker and weaker.
 But nothing could prepare you for the pain that would follow.
~*~
Water surrounded you. Dark, blue, treacherous, ocean. You gasped for air but swallowed the salty liquid. Flailing around, looking for a light. Something. Anything. Where was the surface? Your heart pounded against your ribcage as it screamed for oxygen. You tried to breathe once more, and inhaled the water-
 Coughing and spluttering, you woke up from the nightmare. A sheen of sweat covering your neck. You doubled over as your throat squeezed tighter, racking your body with another fit that left you gasping for air. As you brought your hand away from your mouth, you felt something small, something soft. Turning on the bedside lamp to inspect the object, wincing as the light burned for a moment, you froze as it came into colour.
It was a petal.
A deep, blue, petal.
 Your heart began to race as you quickly pieced the puzzle together. Your crush on Floyd, the coughing fits… and now the blue petal that came with it. Flowers were growing inside of your lungs.
 And they weren’t going to stop.
 “Are you feeling alright?” You snapped your head up as you curled your hand around the petal, stuffing it under the sheets. The school nurse walked in, shoes clacking against the cold linoleum floor. They had bags under their eyes. A feeling of guilt settled in your stomach as you realized that they were because of you. A cold hand was placed onto your sweating forehead.
 “Much better now.” You fibbed, faking a smile. “Could I just have a drink of water?” The nurse retracted their hand and stood up from beside you.
 “Of course, dear.” They turned around and walked into the connected room, giving you the chance to properly examine the petal. It was a deep blue and curled in a teardrop shape. It was an iris. You let out a choked snort. It was ironic. Irises represented hope and having faith, but the path you were headed down contained everything but that.
~*~
 It took some thinking about what your next move should be. The most obvious one would be to tell the nurse- no- The school would get involved and everyone would know… You wanted to figure this out on your own.
 “Morning, Koebi-Chan~” Floyd poked his head around the infirmary’s doorway. “How’s my best friend doing today?” Your heart sank. Friend. Yeah, that’s all you were to him.
 “Nothing’s changed really.” Another lie. It surprised you at how fast you replied.
 “Are you sure?” Another figure appeared in the doorway. Jade. Your neck pricked as you felt his eyes burn into you. What he said was less of a question and more of a challenge.
 “Nope! But you never really are with these things.” You said with a dismissive shrug, hoping the twins would drop the topic. Before either of them could say anything, the blaring bell rang to signal the start of the school day.
 “Leech! Both of you! Get off to class now!” The unmistakable shouts of Coach Vargas could be heard from down the hall. Well, no matter where you were, you would still be able to hear him.
 “Fiiine, fine,” Floyd grumbled. “See ya later, Koebi-Chan!” With that, Floyd left for class. Jade, however, remained and strode into the infirmary.
 “You have one last chance to tell me what’s going on and why you’re lying about it or I will use my magic.” The threat chilled you to the bone, but you still weren’t willing to reveal everything. Jade towered above you. “Well?”
 “... Hanahaki…” You finally whispered, diverting your eyes from the twin. Your heart clenched and you almost felt ashamed that you had acknowledged it. As if the sickness were your fault. You heard a sharp intake of breath from beside you.
 “... So it is Floyd.” Jade murmured, you barely nodded, shoulders slumping even more. “Y/N… We can cure this, you know? Maybe you don’t want to, but if you do,” He turned away from your bed, slowly walking out of the infirmary. “You can always come to Octavinelle.”
~*~
 You looked around the infirmary. At the off white walls fading to yellow at the corners, at the four identical beds clad in slightly grey sheets. You wrinkled your nose at the chemical smell of disinfectant.
 Do I really want to die here?
 ... No…
~*~
 “Now Y/N, this contract will enable you access to a Hanahaki surgery alternative. It will act like a weed eater, killing the flowers and removing all feelings you have towards that person. Do you understand?” You nodded numbly, not really focusing on Azuls words or even the contract. You knew you should have at least read it, but you just wanted this nightmare to be over. “Lovely, now sign your name here and the cure is yours.” Azul’s fingers unfurled, revealing a glittering fountain pen in the shape of a fish skeleton.
 You took a deep breath,
 This is the only way.
 and gently took the pen.
 “Y/N!!!” The door to Azul’s door came crashing down and a familiar face appeared in its place. Floyd’s tall figure was quaking, and tears were streaming down his face. He bolted towards you, tackling you into the plush chair. “No…. no, no, no, no, no, please... don’t… It’s okay… It’s okay, it’s okay, it’s okay…” He sobbed, embracing you tighter, burying his head into your neck. “Please… Don’t… You don’t have to… I’m here…” You snapped back to your senses. What were you doing? You didn’t want to sign a contract with Azul! Dropping the pen, you wrapped your arms around Floyd and salty tears rolled down your cheek.
 “I’m sorry… I’m sorry, Floyd… I- I!” Struggling to get the last words out you took a deep breath.
 And braced for a cough that never came.

Mysme Beach Resort AU
Pairing: Zen & OC
A/N: Hi! Here we go, chapter number two... this one is from Zen’s POV. I hope you like it.
It was supposed to be shorter, but I realized that what I had was way too short to be deserving the title ‘chapter’, so I hadded a little more lol!
Anyway, last chapter Ella couldn’t sleep after arriving at the Paradise Hotel & Resort, so she decided to take a little walk... at 3 am. :)
If you want to know what happened, then please click below. Thank you for reading~!
Chapter 2 - The Night Nymph
Zen let out a sigh. Damn, it was late! He didn’t expect to still be out at that hour, even if he didn’t have anything booked to do the next morning, but the crew kept asking him to stay and have another drink. He had to literally slip out the club’s back door without anyone noticing.
More than ready to fall on his bed, he decided to take a shortcut through the Resort instead of around it. The staff’s lodges were right at the very back of the Resort, out of the guest’s way, and going around the complex, on foot, would take him too much time.
- Man, it’s hot…
He grumbled with yet another sigh. He should be used to that crazy weather at that point, but he still wasn’t. He glanced at the main pool on his left, considering taking a quick dip, but deciding against it.
However, the moment he looked away, he saw something that resembled a person floating, face up, in the clear water.
- Huh? Am I he seeing things? I didn’t have that much to drink, did I?
He slowly approached the pool, for a better view and it wasn’t a mirage! A girl was definitely there, floating peacefully with her hair spread around her face and her arms wide open. Her eyes were closed and a little smile played on her lips.
Zen’s jaw fell open. She looked like a nymph, and he felt attracted to her as a sailor to a siren's call. He didn't mean to be a peeper but she looked so serene, so peaceful and beautiful. And so naked.
His face flushed at the realisation that he was actually peeping on someone who was wearing nothing but lingerie. Wet lingerie. And he obviously didn't mean it like that, but nonetheless that was what he was doing.
Peeling his eyes away from the girl, he walked to the nearest boot to retrieve a clean towel, before returning to his previous spot. He crouched down and reached for the water, splashing her lightly, to call for her attention.
Finally, she opened her eyes, eyebrows slightly creased.
- Couldn't sleep?
He asked with a smile. The girl’s eyes grew bigger and she immediately dived into the water, all the way up to her nose. Still, he recognized her as the girl he had asked to dance earlier.
- Don’t worry. I’m part of the staff, but I’m not here to scold you.
He looked at one of the closest CCTV cameras installed and smirked at it.
- But someone might… So, if you can’t sleep I’d recommend a long run on the beach... or dance lessons with me.
He gave the girl a big, charming, grin. Since they were both there, why not advertise the lessons? Even though he knew that by lunchtime he would still be fully booked, even without advertising.
After a little pause, she finally spoke, in a small voice that he could only hear because everything was so quiet.
- I don't dance.
- You will after our lessons. I can guarantee that.
- No, thank you.
She looked uncertain, but he didn’t want to insist. She was obviously embarrassed.
- Alright. Earlier you looked so interested in our little performance, I thought you’d want to take the lessons. But if not, I guess I’ll leave you to your...  activities. I'll leave this towel here for you. It may be hot outside but there won't be any sun rays to warm you up after you get out of there.
He rose up, stretching a little and noticing how her eyes followed his movements.
- I should warn you, though, there are cameras here, and the guy in charge with the surveillance doesn’t sleep much, so he is probably watching us right now.
He waved at the camera, not missing the way she hugged herself under the water, her face showing her embarrassment.
- Anyway, if you change your mind about the lessons look for me. My name is Zen.
And with a wide smile he turned around and walked away, not giving her a second glance.
He chuckled to himself as he continued on his way to his bungalow. What a cute girl. He didn’t know why, but he hoped she would end up deciding in favor of the lessons.
*
The next day, after lunch, Zen received his schedule from Jaehee. As expected, he was already fully booked, the first 3 lessons taking place that same afternoon.
He was inside the dance room, with his back to the door when he heard steps behind him. He glanced at the schedule with the customer’s name.
- Welcome, Miss. Summers, to our ballroom dance lessons, I’ll be your instructor, Z-
He turned around to find the girl from the pool, the nymph, standing in front of him. He barely noticed the smile tugging at his lips, the moment their eyes met.
- Ah! It’s you!
She smiled.
- So you decided to give it a try, after all.
- Yes… you said it could help me sleep.
Zen focused his stare on her eyes. They were a little puffy and had little dark circles underneath. Obviously her night swim didn't help. That must have been some serious jetlag.
- But I have to warn you, I'm very bad at this.
He let out a chuckle.
- Don't worry. I'm your instructor and I'm great at it, so you'll learn in a flash.
With a wink, Zen beckoned the girl to come closer, into the middle of the room.
- Ok, we’ll start with Salsa, it's usually a favorite.
In the next few minutes, he briefly explained the dance and showed her the steps. Once she seemed to have the hang of it, he turned the music on.
- Now, I want you to keep repeating those steps, but trying to match them with the music. Once the beat starts.
“Even if I know it's wrong, hope the DJ plays our song so you can find me, and dance behind me.”
- You have to listen to the music and feel it.
“You love how I dip and wine, with you it happens every time. My body is lonely, for you only.”
- Ok, ready? Now!
“Something about you got me sweatin', sweatin'. Baby, I'ma drive you loco, loco. Now you got my body shakin', shakin'. I wanna dance with you all night.”
- Alright, you have a good frame, and you should keep it, but you also need to loosen up more. You're too stiff.
He placed his hands on her hips, from behind, planning to help her move them in a more relaxed way, but she immediately jumped in surprise and recoiled. He raised his hands.
- Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to be inappropriate.
And he didn't, but now looking at the lovely blush on her face as she scratched her own arm, he was starting to doubt himself.
- No no, it's fine! I was just surprised, I’m sorry.
The girl gave him an embarrassed smile, and the expression shown in her eyes made him remember the way she looked that morning in the pool.
The memory of her half naked body made the blood rush to his face once again, and he turned his back to her, so she wouldn’t see it. Good grief, he was getting worse by the day, he really needed to find a girlfriend, fast!
“Pero sólo me gustas tú, solamente tú. Yo me imagino en la playa, contigo, en un cielo azul.”
Mentally scolding himself, he cleared his throat, trying to concentrate on the class.
- Anyway, you’re doing well, I just want you to relax a little more, you can't be so tense or your body won't cooperate.
- I feel silly, to be honest.
He turned to face her again.
- Silly?
- Yes, to be dancing on my own while you're watching.
She let out a nervous little laugh.
- Then... why don't we try together? Maybe it'll make you feel more comfortable.
Zen walked to her and showed her how to position herself when dancing with a partner. Then he gently took her in his arms.
“Hey DJ, póngale la música que le gusta, una para que se mueva y se luzca, y baile conmigo, sólo conmigo, hey!”
- The steps are the same, the only difference is that now you have someone in front of you. So now: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight and keep your frame.
The girl bit her bottom lip in concentration. To help her, Zen kept counting the steps, and although she wasn't missing them, she was still too stiff.
Seemingly aware that something was off, she looked at their feet, but Zen admonished her.
- No, don't look at your feet, look up.
He raised her chin with his fingers and her chocolate brown eyes found his. Even puffy and with the dark circles, for a second Zen was sure he had never seen prettier ones, and he couldn’t look away. The distraction, however, made her stumble and he had to hold her close to prevent her from falling on her butt.
- Oh, no! I’m so sorry!
- It’s fine, it happens all the time, don’t worry.
- No, I…
A poorly muffled laugh interrupted the girl and they both looked at the door, where a woman's silhouette could be seen against the sun light that was pouring in.
Summers immediately straightened herself up, taking a step back, away from his arms, her eyes glued to the floor.
- I don’t think I can do this… I’m wasting your time.
- No, not at all, we just started…
- I’m sorry.
She bowed shortly and retreated, not raising her eyes from the floor once.
The young girl at the door moved away with a smile on her face, allowing the other one passage. Zen’s voice sounded more annoyed than he expected, when he spoke to her.
- Kinjyun, I thought I told you not to interrupt my classes again.
Kinjyun gave him her famous ‘innocent puppy eye’ look.
- Oh, I’m sorry, oppa. But honestly, the way I see it, I just helped you big time.
- You embarrassed her. She will probably give up the lessons now.
Zen walked to the door and watched as his client ran away at a fast pace.
- I'd say it's no big loss. I'm sure you'll have someone ready to fill her spot in about 3 seconds, oppa.
He knew his partner was right, but that wasn't the point. He had asked that girl personally to join the lessons and she had trusted him enough to give it a try. But now he felt like he had failed her, and for the second time in two days, he found himself looking at the girl’s retrieting back.

Lance in a coma (WIP)
The mission had seemed to be going fine at first - a small, seemingly uninhabited planet had been revealed to be a Galran Empire work camp, and they had to liberate it. Work camps were usually operated more by robots than actual Galran soldiers. Typically one flesh-and-bones soldier to every 20 robots, plus one commander. Sounds easy enough.
However, only a few minutes into taking down robots and rescuing prisoners, Pidge got wind that their father might be among them. After that, everything kinda went to shit.
With Pidge acting on desperation rather than logic (and who wouldn’t?) Lance had volunteered to go with them to keep them safe and focused. That’s when it happened. The Galran commander in charge of the camp snuck up behind them while Pidge hacked a locked gate, and by the time Lance saw the giant charging towards them with some sort of weapon he couldn’t identify all he could do was protect his teammate.
He was knocked out on impact, blissfully unaware of the severe head and neck injuries he just took.
Luckily, the mission ended quickly after an enraged Hunk took on the commander one-on-one. All the prisoners were freed, all enemies either taken out or fled.
Sam Holt had been moved to a different camp the day prior. They had just barely missed him.
Pidge was frustrated and disappointed, but the more present worry that plagued them and the rest of Team Voltron was Lance. He had been rushed to the med bay along with a few of the freed prisoners, and shoved into a pod.
Wrong move.
“Thank you all for liberating us. Green Paladin, I am deeply sorry that your father was not there anymore, but fear not. He was moved because he was unusually strong and your kind seem to be immune to efirium gas poisoning, which is common in the mines the Empire harvests fuel from. He is as healthy as a captive of Zarkon can be.”
“...thanks. That’s good to know.”
“Will the Blue Paladin be okay? The camp commander’s muwuv baton has taken the lives of many workers, and even a few of his own droids in his moments of rage.”
“We’ve got Lance in a healing pod, it may take some time but he will be just fine.”
Nobody was there when Lance came out of the pod just one varga after all the prisoners were off the ship - he hadn’t been due out for another Earth week. He wasn’t supposed to be out. So when an alarm began to blare from the med bay, everyone rushed in, panic in their throats.
When they got there, the pod was deactivated, a red flashing alert notice in place of the glass door. Lance was unconscious on the floor in front of the pod, sprawled out and seemingly lifeless. Hunk was the first to rush to his side.
“LANCE! Oh god, buddy, please wake up!” He desperately attempted to wake his friend, but Lance remained unconscious. After shaking off their shock, Pidge rushed over next to Hunk, checking Lance for any changes.
“What happened?! Why did the pod deactivate early, what does the alert say?!” Coran fumbled with the screens popping up at the med bay computer, bringing up a larger version of the pod’s alert.
“By the Ancients...his concussion was worse than we thought! The healing pods induce a deep sleep in order to speed up the body’s natural healing, along with supplying restorative quintessence and medicine. But compounded with Lance’s concussive state and his injuries, that sleep became dangerous. He’s...he’s gone into a coma, and the pod had to release him to give him a chance of waking. He can hear us, possibly feel touch, but he cannot open his eyes, talk, or...anything else. He’s trapped in his own body.” Allura’s hands flew to her mouth to suppress a horrified gasp. Shiro’s face contorted with fear for his fellow Paladin as he joined Hunk and Pidge on the floor with Lance. Keith remained at the doorway, whole body still with shock, save for a trembling in his hands.
Finally, Allura spoke, “Is...is there any way to help him, Coran?”
“I don’t know, Princess. This has never happened before, as far as I’m aware.” Pidge broke down, sobbing and leaning on Lance’s all-too still chest.
“This is all my fault - I wasn’t paying attention and my dad wasn’t even there anymore, Lance got hurt for--for nothing!”
“That’s not true, Pidge. It’s not your fault, you didn’t know. Lance is fiercely protective of the team, and he sees us as family. He would be happy to know you weren’t hurt.”
“Since the pod spat him out early, he didn’t get all the healing he needed, right? So what do we do? We can’t put him back in the pods.”
“The Castle has a traditional hospital ward in case the pods are all full or can’t be used. There are beds and quintessence lamps, but I’m afraid all the medicine and supplies are probably ten thousand years expired. We’ll have to stop at one of our ally planets for supplies.”
“I’ll carry Lance if you show me the way. It looks like all the pods had time to do was stop the bleeding, his neck is still swollen. I’ll have to move slowly.” Hunk carefully maneuvered his hands under Lance’s knees and shoulders, and Shiro moved to steady the Blue Paladin’s neck. Unfortunately the med bay didn’t seem to have any neck braces, even on its hover-stretchers. Coran said it was because neck injuries don’t threaten the lives of Alteans as they do humans.
When Allura, Keith, and Shiro returned, Lance was fully set up in the hospital ward. He was breathing on his own, but an oxygen mask was on standby just in case. Same with what seemed to be an emergency defibrillator, in case his heart rate got too low or stopped entirely. Lance was laid in the bed, placed so he very slightly sat upright, to aid his respiration. A strange glowing panel hung on the ceiling above the bed - a quintessence lamp to heal him slowly, without the risk of sending him further into his coma. A large screen displayed his vitals, though all the lettering was in Altean. He was hooked up to an IV, and electrodes were attached to his chest and head. There were some other gizmos and tubes attached to the Blue Paladin that Keith couldn’t identify, but as long as they kept Lance alive, he didn’t care.
Shiro walked over to Hunk, who was sitting in a chair next to Lance’s bed, head in his hands. Shiro gently placed his hand on Hunk’s shoulder, causing him to look up. His eyes were red and irritated from crying.
“How is he?”
“A little better. His vitals are stable, at least. I suggested trying the mind meld helmets so Lance could...could communicate with us, but Coran says it would be too dangerous and might make him less likely to wake up.”
Allura took one Lance’s hands in both of hers and closed her eyes, trying to focus on their shared bond as pilots of the Blue Lion, “...Lance. You can hear us, can’t you? We’re all here, and Pidge is safe. They’re--they’re very worried about you, and they’re blaming themself.”
A slight beep on the monitor. Brain activity. He could hear them, and was trying to respond. But he couldn’t. Allura could sense something in her mind - a feeling of desperation. But was it from Lance, or Blue?
“Has Coran tested if Lance can sense touch?”
“Not yet! That’s what this is for, Number One!”
“Is that a...toy hammer?” Keith squinted at the...oddly simple tool.
“I think it’s one of those things doctors hit your knee with to test your reflexes.”
“Right-o, Hunk! Except the Altean version involves these sensors,” Coran pointed to several blue stick-on patches on Lance’s limbs and body, “I tap the sensor with this stick, and if it turns red it means Lance felt it. If it stays blue, he did not. And if it turns purple...they’re expired and this whole spiel is pointless.”
First, his right arm.
A tap on the wrist. Red sensor. A tap on the inner elbow. Red sensor. A tap on the bicep. Purple sensor. Quiznak.
Okay, left arm.
Tap on the wrist, red sensor. Tap on the inner elbow...blue sensor. Tap on the bicep, red sensor. That makes no sense but hey, better than all blue.
Right leg, all red. thank god.
Left leg...
...all blue.
Chest, over the heart and lungs, all red.
Stomach, mostly purple with some blue. Coran wasn’t sure if they should count those or not.
There, sitting before the deactivated Blue Lion...was a glowing blue lioness.
“Is...is that...”
“Are you...the spirit of the Blue Lion?”
The lioness opened her mouth and spoke, “I am.” her voice was deep as oceans and cool like a frost across your nose warning you that winter would soon arrive, yet it was familiar and safe and warm, like the affection of a mother. The Blue Lion spoke again, “My Paladin needs me, and I could not help him while still within my mechanical vessel. I needed to return to my Astral Spirit form in order to be by his side. Red will most likely grow tired of waiting and join me by his side soon, I know he did not make it obvious, but he grew attached to Lance while they were paired. But for now, I must go to Lance. Oh, and please, call me Azul. It is the word blue in Lance’s mother tongue. It is the name he calls me by when we speak in his mind.”
Shiro and Allura followed Blue...Azul through the Castleship in silent awe. She was definitely a lioness, large and strong-looking, a sense of purpose in her stop. On the way to the hospital wing, they happened upon Pidge, carrying a giant heap of wires and machine parts.
“Oh, Shiro. I was just--is that the Blue Lion?!”
“My poor cub...I’m so sorry I couldn’t stop this from happening. The moment I felt your mind slip away from me I knew something was wrong. I should have gone straight to your side, like Red does for her Paladin. I’m so sorry, Lance. I’m here now, I’m right here at your side.” Blue nudged her head beneath his hand, and Allura could feel her anguish coming off in waves.
“..on’t...a...rsel...”
“Did you guys hear that?!”
“Azul, could Lance...could Lance possibly communicate to us through you?”
“It is possible, yes. Having all Paladins present may be amplifying the power of the Paladin Bond, which also makes communication between Lion and Paladin easier.”
“Lance, try to say something. Anything.”
“...Which...is it? Some...or any..?”
“Goddammit Lance you make us think you died and then the first thing you say is a joke? Really?”

Film Lang Essay
Introduction
Philippine movies came a long way from Un Homme Au Chapeau (Man with a Hat) which is the first film ever shown in the Philippines and José Nepomuceno's Dalagang Bukid (Country Maiden) in 1919 in which the first film ever made by a Filipino to the present day in the movies such as “Hello, Love, Goodbye” and “Ulan”. The Philippine cinema evolved from time to time it could be affected by the status of the Filipinos for example: Marcos’ regime and his tyrannical way towards Filipinos in the Martial Law or another, the modern appeal especially to the millenial and Gen-Z generation with the love genre and heartbreaks.
The movies that we are going to discuss this time are cinemalaya films; Sid and Aya, Meet me in St. Gallen, Ulan, ML, and Kisapmata. Cinemalaya films are short videos produced for the film festival that happens annually during the months of July and August with the aim of promoting and producing Filipino independent films where only 10 “finalists” are chosen from hundreds of submissions in the Philippines and are shown during the festival. The genres mostly shown during these films and shown to the films we will be reviewing are; romance, drama, comedy, and horror films. It is in these genres that can be shown about the similarities of how Filipinos would make their base as to how they write and present their films to the audience. Since these genres appeal in the Filipino audience, they base their movies in such ways.
Discussion
Sid and Aya
Sid and Aya is a movie about two characters who are currently having their own personal problems. Sid is a businessman who is suffering from insomnia. Aya is a woman who works multiple part-time jobs to solve her financial problems that is connected with her family. One night Sid met Aya, and hires her to keep him company during his sleepless nights. As the title suggests, it really is not a love story. It may seem like it during the first parts of the movie. But as you progress through the movie, the story is more focused on the character development that the two characters give to each other as they interact with each other. The thing that caught my eyes most of the time were the scenes that took place at the amusement park. Usually when the movie uses this setting, it is full of colors. It symbolized that the emotions of the two characters are stirring up, and they will share something personal about themselves. They agreed that their relationship is strictly business and that she’ll get paid to hang around him. But the more they get together, the deeper their relationship becomes, an example of this kind of scene is when Sid told Aya in the amusement park that he will propose to his girlfriend, and that they should go back to just being friends.
It shows the importance of being sincere and honest with other people on how you feel and what you think. It shows that we need to think before we act. It tells us that money really can’t buy you happiness. We need to focus on the little things such as memories and the moments we spend with people we care about, not just wanting them to stay to make you feel safe or feel better about yourself.
Meet me in St. Gallen
Meet me in St. Gallen is about two people who met one night, coincidentally, with both being in a very bad mood. Jesse Abaya is a musician, whose parents disapprove of him being one, calling him an embarrassment. Celeste Francisco is a graphic artist who got fed up with her boss’ demands and decided to quit. Celeste thought at first that Jesse was stalking her, but he cleared it up that he just saw how brave she was and wanted to talk to her, someone who was also in a bad mood. The two would soon spend the night together that will get them stuck in each others thoughts for a long time. The whole movie would be based on their discussion of destiny and true love but would get caught up in each other’s life and hopes in dreams. The plot was primarily based on their discussion of Celeste’s aunt love life; of her childhood sweetheart meeting her after years after the fact that she had already wed few years prior, as a foreshadowing as to how it would end up themselves as their lives start to change for the better.
It had a good portrayal of real life events that happen to most people who get attached and wants a friend or a lover to stay for the longest time. It mirrors real life in the way that when even if a person gets attached to another person, it does not mean that that person will stay forever in your life. Sometimes, some encounters are just by chance. To help us figure out what we want and what he have to fix in our lives. Sometimes, people are just really there to give you a push to become better. We all have a role in everyone’s lives, but not everyone gets to stay.
Ulan
Ulan is a 2019 movie directed by Irene Villamor about a girl named Maya (Nadine Lustre) with a consistent unfortunate events about love. One time she visited her crush since College but was heartbroken when she found out that the person she likes already have a family. She met another guy at a wedding in which his best friend works as the brides wedding designer. The boy which treats her like a princess  her as a princess and and told her fairytale like promises which sounded superficial. It is a lip service but sounds resounding. Maya falls for him and hoped that they would stay together longer however finding out that this prince guy was not really that serious in that relationship which led to Maya getting rejected and heartbroken once again. She swore never to cry again about love or to fall easily anymore.
There is constant transition back and forth of her past and present with that mixture of reality and fantasy /  symbolic elements here and there. One scene is the superstition as told by many elderly is when it is raining while it is sunny, the aswang called Tikbalang are getting married. Maya’s Grandmother told her granddaughter that it is raining because the heavens are against their marriage thus punishing them. It is also because of Maya’s bizarre imagination as a kid, the Tikbalang replied in a soft, sweet tone and told the young Maya that no one can severe a true love even if it the heavens are against you. Another superstitious belief her grandmother told her is eggs can stop the rain. Maya asked this to the teacher which led to her getting bullied. But one boy stood up for her that made it look like he is “the one” .  Yet the expectation turned into a bitter twist showing you are not the person meant to be with the person you love.
When I first saw the title, I thought it was intriguing, it is just one word signifying rain but it could mean many things. It could mean hopelessness, heartbreak, bitterness, or hope, or love? Who knows, I will still search it up. I saw it, the main character is Maya which is portrayed by Nadine Lustre, now I was biased at first, I saw Nadine, it could be one of those generic Romantic Comedy settings perhaps? I was wrong. I thought it would be too shallow but honestly it was focusing on much more depth especially with the fantasy and symbolism element incorporated with the young character’s wild imagination making the atmosphere feel odd yet relatable. Maya has been through constant heartbreaks and honestly I could relate it to our environment especially with the current global warming status. We could see the selfless love we had from nature yet we chose to put it aside and love superficial elements
ML
ML is a recently released film in 2018 and clearly portrays the lifestyle and ideals shown during Martial Law. The movie focuses on Carlo a typical millennial jock, was given an assignment to research Martial Law but soon goes wrong when he tries to interview a former Colonel during the time of Martial Law. When Carlo tries to interview the Colonel he soon ends up getting kidnapped by the Colonel and have him tortured in his basement. The delusional Colonel had him tortured by having him gagged and tied up so he could not escape and soon starts with the Colonel removing his toenails one by one going back and forth with Carlo screaming in pain and the Colonel asking questions that did not make sense to him and soon even dragging his friend and girlfriend to be tortured after being lured in as well. Soon only Carlo and his girlfriend Pat was the only ones who escaped while his friend Jaze was the only one killed and thrown to the pavement to look like a casualty from drugs. Carlo and Pat reported the case but the colonel was acquitted of having no substantial evidence. Carlo wanting revenge returns to the colonel’s home having him found him dead in his sleep. The colonel portrayed in the movie is a delusional retired soldier who still thinks that martial is still being continually done performs his duty of torturing Carlo. Carlo is portrayed as a typical millennial who thinks and argues that Martial Law was actually a good thing that happened to the Filipino people. But the film shows what was actually like during martial law and clearly shows how “unlawful torture” was done during Martial Law.
Kisapmata
Kisapmata is a 1980s movie focusing on three main characters Dadong Carandang, a retired police officer and the father of Mila Carandang, his daughter and Noel Manalansan, Mila’s husband. The movie is about an over possessive father as he tries to control Mila so that she would not leave his sight and never allowing her to leave his house. When Mila soon fell in love with Noel they decide to go towards Dadong in hopes that he would accept their marriage. Initially Dadong didn’t approve of it, but soon allows it when they found out that Mila was pregnant as well as the condition of Noel having to pay a very costly dowry as well as the one paying for their luxurious wedding. After the wedding Dadong had both of them stay within their house and to have them sleep separately with the excuse of having Mila take care of her sick mother, Dely. The couple becoming miserable had tried their efforts to escape the house but to soon be hunted by Dadong even going so far as to make compromises to have them continue to stay. The couple soon ends up having to return back to the house to get back their belongings only to have Dadong pleading with Mila not to leave. It would soon reveal that Dadong and her daughter Mila had an incestrous relationship and was the one who got her pregnant. But when Mila and Noel still firm on leaving, Dadong brings out his gun and kills everyone, finally shooting himself.
Comparisons
All of the movies had personal problems, each of the characters portrayed problems that they tried to solve with themselves or having someone help them overcome their obstacles with them. Most of the movies also had gullible characters within them, they would be easily tricked into doing something unusual to meet their goals. Such as seen in Sid and Aya; Aya being hired to company Sid when trying to sleep, Ulan when Maya is tricking herself to solve herself as to not needing love to cover her loneliness, and Kisapmata when Mika and her husband is tricked into staying and coming back to their father’s home despite knowing the situation between them. There are various differences between them such as the circumstances and personalities between them and the end result where most were led to unsatisfying or a bad end result. But the most common is that all of them had personal problems that had to deal with and having it end up affecting others as a result.
Criticism on Philippine Film
Philippine films are mostly based on the genres of romance, comedy, drama and horror but the common thing between them is that they have a peculiar or odd thing about them that causes them to meet with another person as the sort of destiny to help them go through their problems or fail as a result. Most Philippine romance films would show have a similar plot as a sort of destiny at work that would cause them to meet. Compared to other films such as western films where the protagonist of the film, though would have a peculiarity that would differentiate them from others, would at most work through their situation themselves or have a guide or teacher to help them through and be the better version of themselves. Unlike in Philippine films where the former and latter need each other to improve themselves.
Conclusion
Philippine films are generally based on the four genres romance, comedy, drama and horror because they are primarily based on the idea of self-improvement and creating relationships. They create the movies that had terrible endings as a statement to the audience to have them make better values when making relationships with others as well avoid making mistakes similarly to their characters. It is also a way for these films to appeal to the Philippine audience to make it appear to have realism or similarities to our everyday lives. It is also their way for the films to be enjoyed as well reflect on the mistakes and values shown.
