another thing that i wanted to talk about in this months beauty column is the DIFFERENCE that blush placement makes. so i was scrolling on pinterest when i came across this chart that talked about blush placement.

when you apply blush a certain way it balances out ur beautiful features and plays around with proportions in such a way that can make ur features more prominent. also the way that u apply ur blush totally changes the way that ur makeup looks.

for example when u apply blush to the apples of ur cheeks it gives a more youthful and glowy effect. when u put blush high on ur cheekbones it gives a more lifted and sculpted look which is where the blush chart comes in. depending on ur face shape u can determine which style of blush placement complements ur pretty face the best 💗

FASHION FLOPS VS FASHION BOPS ;

in this column, lets look at some old and new fashion trends and see which trends are flops and which ones are bops. my sources include vogue, and glamour magazine…💬🎀

according to vogue, statement gowns are OUT and discreet chics are IN. discreet chic is mixing basics in minimalist yet compelling ways. this includes things like trench coats, pencil skirts, trouser suits and good jeans.

according to glamour magazine, crisp whites and butter yellows are trending this summer. along with sequins and basics like denim pants and white t-shirts, polished kitten heels and mary jane flats also. the styles that are trending for this summer are boho 3.0 and little white dresses.

something i can DEF get behind is little white dresses. its like a blank canvas on which u can make the outfit into whatever you want. personally i would style a tiny white dress with chunky bracelets and wedges/kitten heels…💬🎀

LETS TALK MANIFESTATION ;

manifestation techniques are overrated - all you have to do to manifest is affirm -> persist. thats essentially all you have to do and when i first started i was so caught up in techniques and routines that i wasn't even affirming/persisting. i was doing anything and everything and i saw manifestation as a process and manifestation is NOT a process. when i shifted that and realized that manifesting is instant and all techniques are for funsies, the pressure was taken off.

this is an excerpt from my manifestation opinions post and i've released this poll to talk about what manifestation topic you guys would like me to talk about and the winner was saturation so lets talk about it. so what does it mean to saturate? i got this question a while ago in my inbox so im just gonna copy and paste my response.

saturating is simply soaking ur mind in the fact that u already have what u want. i do this with affirming, some people do other things to saturate but affirming is the most simple for me. just think as if u have it over and over and over again…💬🎀

“We can’t decorate this if you keep eating all the candy. You know that, right?” Your voice comes in a concentrated, half-annoyed monotone. You’d be grumpier about it if you weren’t so focused. Now, you’re more worried about piping even shingles on the gingerbread roof than your boyfriend eating all of your supplies.

Steve stops chewing with a cheekful of something sugary. “Sorry,” he apologizes, mostly muffled.

You lay the piping bag on the tabletop and flash a deadpanned glance to the boy beside you. With his hair grown out and pushed over his head, chiseled jaw scruffy and unshaven, and ugly Christmas sweater pushed up to his elbows — you think he’s the coziest he’s ever looked. Far too pretty to be mad at.

“Can you hand me the gumdrops?”

He nods enthusiastically, happy to finally help in some way. He reaches to his left for the plastic bag of vividly colored candies. The bag is lighter than he expected, and much much emptier. It shouldn’t surprise him. He’s the one that ate them all.

“Sorry…” he repeats as he passes the bag to you. He gives you a crooked smile in return, an enthusiastic glimmer in the honey of his eye. “It looks really pretty so far, though!”

“Yeah, no thanks to you,” you murmur.

oh sweetheart i'm not the best person to ask this, i've only been here for a couple months, i'm not even close to finishing cm and i'm not the best at writing anything at all so keep that in mind if this is complete nonsense but let's see what i can think of

spencer reid headcanons ✧ ˚ 　· 　　 .

✦ he loves the sound of rain, it helps him focus while he's reading or working and it's just very relaxing for him

✦ he actually can cook if he feels like it (never) but he'd rather order takeout or go out to eat

✦ his hands are always cold

✦ loves stargazing and wishes he wasn't so tired every night so he could do it more often

✦ he actually loves hugs but only from very few people

✦ spring and fall are his favorite seasons

✦ he isn't a picky eater at all

✦ sleeps with socks on

✦ he borrowed an hair tie from one of the bau girls and never gave it back and never will

✦ he loves candy and sweets more than real food

✦ he can play any musical instrument even if it is the first time he tries to, just give him a couple minutes

another ask from meee srry im trying to avoid flooding yer inbox but oh my gahhhgu i want to talk to someone about turbo so so so so bad and posting about him just isnt enough to satiate my hunger (Smiles extremely scary with malicious intent)

HIS SENSE OF HUMOR AAUUUU I love overanalyzing little details about his character. i think a really silly detail about him is how he laughs at his own jokes and puns when more often than not they are overtly cruel or in poor taste and nobody aside from him actually thinks theyre funny (for example: the fungeon, the mocking comments he says as candybug). why do i bring this up, you might ask? well i wonder how this could translate into his personality in the 80s as regular old Turbo. he has likely always had this dark sense of humor, but as the jolly King Candy, its more discordant with his persona because of his innocent facade suddenly cracking a joke about how he imprisons people in a dungeon like its not a big deal. he definitely understands that its horrible, too! he just doesnt care!!!!

i wonder how this looked when he had less restraint as turbo. what kind of shit was he saying!! he was likely a major bully towards everyone and thought annoying and hurting others was funny. one of my favorite characterizations of him ever are in the fan comicsby turbotastique because he's still clearly portrayed as an abhorrent person, but he also doesn't take anything or anyone seriously outside of himself. (i also like the comic au series they did with turbo and fix it felix being GAY and DATING starring GENE BEING HOMOPHOBIC!!!)

- how he is in a relationship (pavitr prabhakar x gn!reader, fluff hcs)

a/n - my fav new character!! i’ll always be a miles lover but pav is so cute and i absolutely adore his personality.

- he spoils you so much. buying you flowers without a special occasion, takes you on romantic dates, the whole shebang. if you ever mention wanting something, he’ll buy it immediately (or as soon as his wallet will allow).

- he’s an optimist in the greatest sense. he lifts your spirits and always makes sure you know that he believes in you 100%.

- you met his family soon after you started dating because he decided that they absolutely needed to meet the person making him so happy. if you’ve been dating for a while, you’re incredibly familiar with them because his favorite place to hang is his room.

- he’s often not the best listener because his solution for everything is to just fix the problem, but he tries his best. throughout your relationship, he has worked on the parts of himself he didn’t know needed to be worked on and truly tries to better himself for your sake.

- pav is an absolute drama queen. he makes the biggest entrances and cries during romcoms, though you find him trying to wipe away the tears so he can feel “macho”. it’s really endearing.

- he knows all of your favorites and buys them for you frequently. your house is stocked with your favorite drinks, snacks, and candies because of how often he gives you gifts. it’s his love language, what can you say?

- you may like this or you may not, but he’s definitely a morning person. he likes morning jogs, breakfast, and the crisp air that “only smells right” in the early hours. he pulls you out of bed early most days because he just wants to enjoy the daylight.

- when he takes you swinging, he shows off and does tricks while you’re clinging to his body. he’s doing flips and dips and spinning in the air as you’re desperately trying to keep your vision from swimming.

- he will always treat you as an equal, no matter what. you’re appreciated as a person and as his partner, and he will never let you feel less than amazing.

- in his opinion, home-cooked meals are the best medicine. meaning, of course, that whenever you’re feeling sick or down, he’ll bring you food either he or his aunt cooked.

- trust is the foundation of your relationship. you trust him with everything in you, knowing that he is will never do anything to hurt you, and he knows the same.
