With Donna and Wally it’s so fluffy! With Roy however I feel like they are either partners in crime or hitting each other where it hurts

You're so right anon. With Donna and Wally things are pretty much perfect but with Roy, Dick's relationship is back and forth but it's not because they don't like each other. It's because they like each other too much.

Like I said. It's not a problem but Roy's relationship with Dick is based on the fact that he loves Dick too much. He thinks Dick is the best thing in the world to ever exist. All the Titans think that but Roy wants to BE Dick. If you look at it, Roy's relationship with Dick is a parallel to Jason's relationship with Dick and Donna, Wally, and Garth's relationship with Dick matches exactly with Tim's relationship with Dick.

Jason thinks the world of Dick Grayson and tried his best to live up to him. He tried to fill in Dick's shoes which is exactly what Roy does.

He loves Dick to an extreme that he wants to emulate but finds himself struggling because he doesn't believe he achieves that. So, he acts out in order to recieve attention from Dick and Ollie and so on. He gets aggressive with the people he loves because he wants them to look at him. He wants to keep them looking at him. Which is the reason for the back and forth between best friend and angry friend moods he has going on with Dick. It's born out of respect and love and need for acknowledgement from the person who he considers is the greatest to have ever existed.

The reason I bring up Jason and Tim is because it's the clearest way to explain Dick's relationships with the Titans. The Titans and Dick's brothers hold him in the highest esteem - they just react to him differently. Wally,Donna, Garth, and Tim love Dick and think of him as the peak of perfection. So, Wally and Tim especially celebrate it by using him as an inspiration to be greater. In similar ways, Jason and Roy love Dick and think he's the peak of perfection and want to be him. They use him as inspiration but at the same time they feel the need to compete with him to prove their worth. Where Wally and Tim have just accepted that Dick is the best and can't be achieved by anyone, Jason and Roy actually do try to be like him. However you know what they say about Icarus - don't fly too close to the sun. Meaning, don't be too overly ambitious and greedy. I don't think there's anything wrong with what Jason and Roy do but the impact of what they're trying to achieve has negative consequences on their mental health.

They love him, want to be him, but personally feel they're falling short of him which brings in the mood swings. The rest of the Titans and Tim have a fluffier relationship because they don't even bother. They've just accepted that Dick is the best and go about on their day. So in summary, Roy's relationship with Dick is fraught with tension because of insecurities as a result of hero-worship. But truth be told, Roy loves Dick just as equally as Wally, Donna, and Garth. He simply shows his love a different way to him than they do because they're all their own individual people.

In terms of Dick viewing Roy, Dick is Roy's hardcore friend. He's a real one. When Roy was struggling with drugs, Dick single handedly dragged him into Rehab because he was there for him. Because for Dick, it makes him happy seeing Roy happy and successful.

And Roy literally holds down Dick when he freaks out and chases after Kori after she gets possessed at their wedding. The friendship they have is not the smoothest friendship but it's a real one. They need each other because when they're each at their worst the other other one comes in slaps the other around, gives a twisted love confession in the form of threats, and then they get better.

Outsiders is probably the best explanation of their dynamic. Roy put together the Outsiders because he didn't want Dick constantly depressed WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT WALLY DID WHEN HE PUT TOGETHER THE TITANS IN TITANS (1999). But it comes off differently because Roy is more aggressive in the way he shows love. If Roy needs anything, Dick's there for him immediately.

They're a flipping hot mess that love each other. In other words, Roy and Dick's friendship is what you get when you put two egoists in a room together and tell them that they're going to die only for them to start beating each other up because they're each screaming that they love the other more and neither refuses to let the other one go first. Kinda like the song Style. They fall apart and then they fall back together for an eternity.

If I start off something off with “another thing” or “one thing” just know I’m about to rant on here😂😂😩😩😭😭 & on that note…buckle up because this is a long one.

It absolutely baffles me that Feyre throughout ACOSF shows ZERO initiative or indication on wanting to know as much as she can about her baby/pregnancy, she’s a FIRST TIME MOTHER-TO-BE & this girl shows not a single ounce of “first-time-mom syndrome” Feyre’s lack of care towards her & her baby’s wellbeing whilst pregnant is to me absolutely diabolical & insane.

What I mean by this is at not one point has it ever been established that Feyre showed the initiative to get 2nd & maybe even 3rd opinions from different midwives/healers or even Illyrian mothers & find out information for herself about her son & her own health during pregnancy, I don’t know what wtf SJM was thinking making Feyre completely & utterly dependent on Rhysand relaying information or even Madja for that matter, it completely blows my mind that SJM’s thought process for Feyre throughout this whole ordeal was to make her so vulnerable that she shouldn’t even be aware that her own baby would likely kill her during the delivery.

I can 100% understand that Feyre wants to enjoy the pregnancy & be “in the moment” with the pregnancy experience but what I can’t grapple with is Feyre being so content & uncaring to find out all the information she can about having an Illyrian baby/baby with wings, like she was told directly by Madja that the delivery would be difficult & from that as far as we all know she made NO attempts to get as much info as she can to help herself & her son…as a first time mom…being that nonchalant?!!?!!! Like wtf?!!!

I can’t understand how she can be told the labour will be difficult & not do a damn thing herself to find ways to potentially make it easier such as finding out from others aka Lucien if he knows anything about shifting whilst pregnant, why the hell didnt Rhysand or any of the others think to go to Spring & ask Tamlin if he knows anything about risks of shifting during pregnancy since…you know shifting is HIS thing, they have no problem trespassing in Spring for secret meetings or going their to taunt an already depressed & suicidal Tamlin but when you actually need his help yet again they all suddenly get amnésia including Feyre?!!?!

To me Feyre’s inability to find things out for herself & relied on everyone else to find the information out & hope they relay it back truthfully (which in the end they did not) is not only careless but reckless too & just shows how much she wasn’t ready to be a mother, unless we end up getting a POV or flashback POV of Feyre’s thoughts surrounding her pregnancy then naturally I’ll change my stance on this situation.

Also Madja needs to NEVER & I mean NEVER be allowed to be a practicing healer EVER AGAIN!! That female is absolutely disgusting & diabolical too, she as a female making a choice for Feyre in not telling her she & her baby may die & by extension Rhysand of course, I don’t care if she was forbade by Rhysand what she did was absolutely disgusting, can you imagine how many other females in The Night Court have potentially lost their lives because Madja made a call that wasn’t hers to make on a mother & baby’s wellbeing.

And I will stand 10 toes down behind Nesta telling Feyre the birthing dangers but I don’t agree with how/the way it came out but I also understand why she in that moment she blurted it out to Feyre, it was a lose lose predicament to be in & had Feyre taken the initiative to find out more info on her pregnancy herself maybe she would have known about this already & maybe been prepared.

I really want to believe that Feyre was more involved in her own pregnancy & was showing some semblance of that first-time-mom syndrome but based off of everything we did get with ACOSF everything so far is saying she didn’t, which is just so sad that even at her most vulnerable SJM chose to make Feyre even more vulnerable by purposely having her mate/husband & family keep such a thing from her & not have her act like a mom-to-be

Guys, I think Grizzly hid lore in Dark Puckered Hole.

NOW JUST- JUST HEAR ME OUT. (Mieru, look away).

I’m not just talking about the potential purity culture of the Undersea being exposed through Finn’s self exploration… I’m talking RAFT lore.

In Chapter 69, “Behind Bars,” of Dark Puckered Hole, Finn Tidestrider is imprisoned “somewhere in the eastern sea” with another triton, who is on the brink of death. They fall in love and bang before the anonymous convict passes in Finn’s arms, but that’s not what I’m focusing on. Im focusing on the presence of another triton, an injured one, in the Oversea, especially the Sakura Ocean.

Historically in Mana, Finn Tidestrider was one of, if not, THE FIRST to leave the Undersea behind. A decade or so-so later, in modern day Riptide, there have been practically no other triton. Gillion, who was banished, and Edyn, who left to find and avenge him, are the only ones. Even more so, the only other Undersea characters are found in the Undersea (Unnamed NPCs in The Tank OR Felipe, a grung, being from Liquidus) or having left it behind for personal reasons a la Edyn (Caspian, a water genasi). When the Tidestrider siblings go around Allport, they have to wear cloaks to avoid standing out. There aren’t even other triton in Liquidus!

So how, why, is there another triton in the oversea? Finn himself is shocked by his presence. “In this prison, to find another man from the Undersea… my mind raced with questions.” He doesn’t dwell on this weirdness because his questions are drowned out by the sound of his blood beneath his skin, rushing downward, BUT it’s very bizarre, no?

Another detail: Why was the other triton on the verge of death? Of course, inadequate care, but could he have been thrown back into the cell like that? Whoever imprisoned them did not care about their lives. They could live, or they could die.

To go further, isn’t it kind of weird how Finn Tidestrider doesn’t specify where his imprisonment is? He is a very detailed author. He could have said one of the villages in Onawa Country or anything else to feed more detail into his writing, but he didn’t. I feel like the reason he wouldn’t be specific is because he himself was unsure exactly of where he was. He was taken in secret, likely kept out of sight while being arrested and transported to his cell.

I also have to wonder… who imprisoned them? I think you know what I’m getting at. I think RAFT did. RAFT has the resources. RAFT has the political sway. RAFT has governmental power. And it’s worsened by the fact that this imprisonment occurred in the Eastern Sea, the site of the Promised Bastion, where triton are imprisoned, tortured, skinned, and experimented on…

Judging by the fact that Finn refers to the other triton’s you-know-what as “a lighthouse to guide this lost sailor home,” Finn was likely a part of the Black Rose Pirates at the time. He couldn’t hide his presence in the Oversea as a crewmate for a pirate lord, let alone Captain Rose. Finn was on wanted posters, Finn was in newspaper headlines, Finn was a published author. I think RAFT had its eyes on him, but when they arrested or kidnapped him, it wasn’t for crimes of piracy… at least not on the surface.

I think this experimentation on Undersea people and gods has been going on for a long time, and Dark Puckered Hole could be evidence of this fact. Finn was intended to be a source of skin, of blood, and of magic for RAFT’s experimentation in the artificial leviathan and black ops projects. His lover was too, maybe already was (I say maybe because Finn doesn’t allude to the idea that he was physically ripped apart… that would have been unignorable). Finn probably only made it out because he’s that strong (in episode 82, when Drey is talking to and comforting Jay, he said Finn was terrifying when angry or passionate) or his crew came to his rescue.

I think political and military purposes against the pirates weren’t the only reasons RAFT wanted to ally with the Undersea. “Joining forces” with them led either to less suspicion as they funneled triton out of the ocean and to the recently abandoned Promised Bastion, or coming to dominate them allowed RAFT to simply take triton without enough pushback. Either way, without their Champion to rise against them (the one triton on the hooks accused Gillion of abandoning them), they’ve been taken en masse. And maybe Edyn’s collaboration with the navy permitted her some of this knowledge, and that’s how she knew to hide Gillion from prying eyes in navy territory.

Uhhh tldr: It’s weird that there’s an injured triton in the Eastern Oversea. I think DPH could imply that Finn and his lover were imprisoned by RAFT as test subjects for the artificial leviathan and black ops projects, proving the longevity of Fay Ferin’s plans.

(I think it may be fair to say that he wants so badly to matter to her in a way that makes her care about herself too. Am I reading too deeply into that???)

No but yeah, he really desperately is trying his best to keep her safe and intact here and it's nice that, much like Queen!MC, current!MC can take decent care of herself but, he's got a point.

She throws herself into a lot of situations and sometimes I hate to say it but it's... very much loner mentality. She's an orphan, and did have her adoptive family for however long, but I imagine a lot of independence came with it and even more still when she was living at University and then straight on to the Deepspace Hunter academy... She's already been on her own a while. And especially after losing the only family she had? She's extra alone. It's like... ok. She's not being unnecessarily reckless but at this point she doesn't have very many people in her life to consciously come home to. And I think he knows that, and he's desperately trying to be that for her.

He's bandaging her wounds, he's staying the night, he's really trying to be an anchor for her as much as she's literally a tether for him and always has been. He needs her with him, and he wants to be the person she comes home to.

And he's willing to bare a lot to say that here, and I think it just shows how much he's really not saying also. I think he's just overflowing and this is the spillover. There is SO MUCH more there. I can't wait to see more of it.

You knelt next to the tall angel, your hands kept pressing the shirt you had been wearing moments ago tightly against his wounds while the golden blood that had already formed a puddle around the first man stained your pants - not that you really cared. Your focus was on the dying soul in front of you. Yes Adam had been awful, yes Adam deserved to die, but on the other hand it simply didn’t sit right with you to let him die that easily, for you it felt purely wrong to give up on his tainted soul without even trying. And just as you were about to cry out for help in panic, Adam started to breathe.

Your big sister, your father and their friends had worked quite hard to rebuild the hotel and just as the last light of it flickered to life, Adam took his first breath. “Y/N?” Lucifer’s voice called out for his youngest son right before he spotted you kneeling next to Adam. With slow, heavy steps he walked over to you and the first man, suspiciously eyeing what you were doing but when the king of Hell saw how the brunette’s chest visibly pumped blood and air through his body, he looked quite shocked. “Dad, he’s alive,” your voice sounded happy, excited even and yet so broken - Lucifer didn’t move, he just stood there and watched. “We have to take him in, dad, he’s wounded.” The blonde king shook his head violently, snapping out of his haze as he processed your words slowly, then he shook his head in a softer manner - this time he used it to respond to what you’ve just said, “Nuh, no~no~no~oh, we’re not taking him in.”

Charlie appeared behind the king of Hell, your older sister - she was only one year older than you - put down a gentle hand on his shoulder, “But dad, he’s a human souls just like the other residents and as much as I hate the thought of living with him, the concept of this hotel is all about redemption, maybe Adam can redeem himself too.” And while Lucifer didn’t admit it out loud, he knew his children were right, a defeated sigh left his body and he lowered his head. The blonde was not willing to put up a fight with either you nor Charlie so he simply gave in. He always had the option to kick the first man out if he would not be willing to redeem his soul after all.

It had taken Adam a while to regain his strength, it had taken him even longer to accept that his angels had left him and that he was doomed to rot in Hell - though he kept telling you and the other residents that soon Sera would look for him and send Lute. But Sera never mentioned Adam in any of the meetings she held with Lucifer and Lute had not been back to Hell ever since she thought she had seen her best friend die. Not even during extermination day. But on the other hand that had forced the first man to get used to his new environment and while Vaggie was just as amused to have the brunette roaming their halls as Lucifer, Angel seemed to actually enjoy the first man’s company - even though most of their conversations were about the bitches Adam had slept with in heaven.

But you were without a doubt the demon he got along with the best, not only did you like the music he was playing, you also seemed to understand him without ever going through something similar, yet the two of you connected. The bond between you and Adam had grown strong, so strong that the brunette had you pressed against your bedroom wall, kissing your lips over and over again as his wings framed your sides - a habit he had picked up in Heaven to prevent people from staring. His lips didn’t remain on your lips though, he was eager to shower your entire body in kisses and he was determined to keep going until that goal was reached.

“Fuck,” you mumbled, gently nudging Adam to signal the former angel to give you some space. “Lemme just-” you grumbled as you took off your shirt, throwing it somewhere where it wouldn’t bother you and as soon as the soft fabric was no longer covering your skin, the brunette was on you in an instant, his hot mouth was mapping out your body like it was the most beautiful thing he ever touched, his tongue circled your nipple. And then a loud banging noise appeared right behind him and when you peeked over Adam’s shoulder you froze. Your father was standing in the door frame, just as shocked as you were. “Adam,” you mumbled quietly, trying to get the taller male to notice the king of Hell. But the angel shielding your body from your father’s eyes simply grinned against your skin as he responded, “Why don’t you moan louder for me, babes?”

Lucifer cleared his throat quite loudly and it was just then and there that Adam noticed the blonde king. His body stopped moving immediately and he just stared at you with a blank expression on his face. When a small hand reached for his upper arm to spin the angel around, Adam was sure he was gonna die - there was simply no way Lucifer would let that slide.

As soon as Adam looked down on the king, he awkwardly grinned down on the blonde, trying to charm his way out of the situation - not that his bullshit worked on Lucifer and before he knew it Lucifer’s fist collided with his face.

Lady nagant deserves better by the narrative

Oh I genuinely love the entire concept of lady nagant and what her character is supposed to serve in the story but I hate how it was introduced and executed.

To me it felt like lady nagant was somewhat introduced out of nowhere just to add to the building of worldbuiling and the morality of hero society. It would be better to foreshadow or illude to the existence of heroes like lady nagant earlier onto the series. For example, during hawk's first proper manga introduction and during his arc (where he works for the HPSC) you can have lady nagant name drops or stuff talking about how she used to be his mentor or how she killed a hero in the past because they got into an argument.(it still surprises me how in canon she was never his mentor but he was just her replacement.)

After that she can officially be brought up by hawks during the vigilante arc by hawks who tells izuku everything and how he worries that AFO might of hired her to assassinate him.

I personally really liked lady nagants introduction in the story and her first appearance where horikoshi actually makes her seem like a real threat. He also uses her to increase tension and stakes considering that Izuku at that moment hasn't eaten or slept in well in weeks. From the begining of the interaction it seems like lady nagant wants to already finish this of and doesn't plan on hunting down or fighting Izuku. She gives him the option to resist and die or to simply die without any struggle. Both are undesirable options however, I like this introduction especially after we find out that she never wanted to kill him but was made by AFO as a way to get her "freedom".

During the fight more about lady nagant is revealed. Things that we previously knew about her like how she was put in prison due to her killing another hero because they got into an argument are found to be false. we find out that like her successor she was taken in and trained by the HPSC at a young age to do societies bidding. We also find out that lady nagant killed the previous head of the HPSC because she didn't want to be continue killing, neither did she want to be used as a tool anymore.

An interesting eye opening moment is when lady nagant loses it or well the build up to her losing it. I really liked the contrast between the whole interaction of lady nagant meeting her little fans and her talking to her boss. In one interaction she seems completely innocent and surrounded in a harsh environment in the other she is painted out to be guilty with blood all over her hands. Lady nagants hesitance to interact with the kids shows how she feels her sense of humanity dissipating and how she is losing herself. She reaches towards the children with her right hand, yet it is her right hand that has taken so many lives but it is also her right hand that the former HPSC leader tells her that protects lives and does societies evil bidding. Lady nagant's perspective also shows us how she was coaxed into believing that what she did was right and honourable yet as she continued to do it that belief started to falter and she could only remember the screams of the lives she has taken. She ends up seeking I guess what you could call affirmation that she is in the right and that her work helps others yet that doesn't help and she ends up killing the guy who gives it to her. This simply allows us to see the cruelty and the negative side of the hero system and how it directly effects the heroes themselves.

I think lady nagants character design and her quirk are both very interesting concepts that hori came up with. Her quirk makes it so that she is a literal tool, a master rifle weilder and a dangerous one at that. Throughout the story she is consistently objectified and dehumanised with people only seeing the potential that her power has or the dangers it has. Lady nagant from previous flashbacks we are shown that she used to have long hair now this could be due to her needing her own hair for her quirk use. However, we now see her with short hair and this shows that maybe the people in charge in the prison and all cut her hair of so she wouldn't use her quirk. Also it's a striking difference from her long hair look which could show the change within her and her character. Lady nagants hero costume is very plain which is something she needs when it comes to her line of work and I think it's interesting as that contrasts with the outfit she is in when she goes to hunt down Izuku midoriya. She is in somewhat brighter colours almost as if letting her identity seep in through but not fully so. Lady nagant also has purple/pink hair (this is definitely me digging too much into this) which could be symbolic of something.

Pink: within Japanese culture pink is seen as a colour of mourning and it symbolises the young fallen soldiers in the full bloom of life. Others also see pink as a colour of innocence.

Purple: purple is naturally seen as a colour that symbolises spirituality, mystery and devotion.

Now you can argue that some of these can apply to lady nagant and her character design but Iam digging way too deep.

Lady nagant is honestly our first in depth introduction to the horrible acts of the HPSC and I liked the moments the manga was focusing on that and her own views on the current system. It's stated that she doesn't like izuku because she thinks that he is disillusioned and ignorant by the system. While fighting Izuku we clearly see her try to understand this and how some of her ideas about him slowly melt away.

Lady nagant at first is right to assume that izuku is ignorant and is simply being led by the "phony education system" as she goes to describe it. From the information that she already received from people like AFO and overhaul she thinks that he is simply another carbon copy of the ignorant hero society that she despises. She thinks that izuku is naive which is a belief that easily crumbles away as she recognises that he (like her) has a lot of secrets to hide for example both have more than one quirk and ironically both are sought after due to their quirks. What interests lady nagant about izuku is his beliefs. Izuku believes that he as a hero should reach out and help people. He doesn't try and beat them down for being villains but he tries to see the best in everyone while also acknowledging their actions. (Respectfully, I have my own problems with Izukus development but this isn't about him).

Her whole fight and relationship with Izuku is interesting and I wish we got to see her maybe take on a mentor type role for izuku. I feel like it would be a lot more interesting if we got to see them interact more. Especially because I like lady nagants views and how she knows that the path that izuku picked is a "difficult and nuanced one".

Lady nagant and hawks interactions and relationship would be further reinforced if she was his mentor. I think there is something so ironic in lady nagant training a child who would come to replace her role in that society. I really enjoyed the parallels that horikoshi put with lady nagant and hawks. I have mixed feelings when it comes to lady nagant and hawk's conversation when she is heavily injured. The introduction to it is basically hawks catching her limp body and saying something along the lines of "Iam your replacement". Now this goes to honestly dehumanise both characters and show us just how cruel the hero system is. However, I am not a huge fan of it just because how the hell are you introducing yourself to a dying woman who just got exploded as her replacement?!?!

The conversation goes to futher depict these characters as pawns of their own fates and reinforces the parallels between them. Lady nagant notices the hope in hawk's eyes and asks him how he still manages to have such hope in such a terrible society. Iam not a fan of hawks response where he simply says ,"Iam an optimistic guy" but I would of let it be if after lady nagant received medical treatment she brings that conversation back up again to hawks and we see glimpses of their conversation both exchanging stories and all. Hawks seems to acknowledge that really one of the only reasons that he didn't become like lady nagant is because he held onto hope and had people around him like tokoyami.

Also something that Interests me is lady nagants relationship with overhaul. It seems that simply drags him around and that they both accompany eachother to the fight. Lady nagant doesn't particularly hate overhaul but she doesn't care for him and is willing to use him as bait so she can't complete her job in killing Izuku midoriya. Personally, I would of liked to see more on how they met and their relationship. They could be an interesting duo that simply happend due to their own desires, lady nagants desire for freedom and overhauls for his boss. Also something that really stood out to me is how technically overhaul would of slowed down lady nagant yet she simply let him stay by her side? Seemed interesting to me.

Personally, I would write it so that they both obviously meet in prison and overhaul and her are cellmates or in similar cells. They end up sharing stories and all and when it comes to them breaking out they end up breaking out together. They end up using eachother for their own gain in the end.

In conclusion, I actually enjoyed lady nagants character I just wish that the narrative itself built up her character way before her introduction. I also wish that her character relationships were explored a lot more, like how did this happen to her? Where were her parents? How old was she when she became a fully fledged hero? And have her relationship with characters (izuku, hawks and overhaul) actually receive more build up and attention.

Both MK and Mei having something inside them that could be world-destroying, god-killing, and being afraid of it (with a bonus of Wukong hiding it from them both but idk if u think swk knew of the monkey form beforehand)

Bonus with Mei and MK having someone that can/has helped with training and mastering their abilities (Redson & Wukong respectively)

I've been a believer in this since post-s3, with there being plenty of evidence throughout the first 3 seasons to support it. Cause like, imma be honest, the show doesn't make sense if Wukong didn't know. I think by this point we can assume that choosing and training MK to be his "successor" was a cover story—Wukong LITERALLY couldn't have picked anyone else. I never really bought the whole "Monkey King gave you his powers!" explanation, especially when one of the first things he says to MK in AHIB is "Listen kid: You fought demons, and you didn't die, and you made it here! Not just anyone can lift my staff, but you did." And even MK had a different thought, thinking his powers came from the staff until 3x03. How would Wukong have even "given" MK his powers, like logistically anyways. There was just a lot that didn't line up! And then s4 came along, and implied "Yeah MK was born from the stone, and Wukong was there" and I was like, oh yeah that makes total sense.

And I'm also a believer in the Samadhi Fire Mei, Jade Emperor Azure, and Monkey MK trifecta of having uncontrollable, world-ending power (which they must also act as a "container" for). And you know, had the person losing control of the Jade Emperor's powers in 4x14 been one of MK's close friends, he would have been able to save them, I have no doubt. He already did so with Mei in 3x10—Mei wasn't even supposed to be able to withstand the samadhi fire. But she did (Yellowtusk "But he is my brother! I owe him my life!" parallel for the win, "No! Mei is my best friend!", YOU GET ME?). And it's like, in 3x10 MK standing by his friend was a good thing but in 4x13 Yellowtusk standing by his friend was bad. In s3 the gang trying to get the Samadhi Fire was "good" (even though they didn't really use it to defeat LBD by the end lol), and Azure trying to get the Jade Emperor's power was "bad". You see how the lines are blurring here. At the start of Monkey Kid, it's all monster of the week and "we have to stop the bad guys!". Now by this point it's "[blank] isn't necessarily a bad guy..." and "Every choice has consequences for someone", even the "good" ones. Is anyone hearing me.

And then don't even get me STARTED on "I can't be! I'm just MK!" "The Monkie Kid?". Because, I'll have you know Subodhi names Wukong in Journey to the West. I just read that chapter. And then in 4x06 he labels, or names, MK as the "Monkie Kid". And this "reason" just FEELS like it's going to involve a great amount of power, something that is...uncontrollable, even. And this time, this time when MK looses control, Mei is going to be the one to get through to him, aka Samadhi Fire Part 3. Like

it took a lot of thinking to settle on knowing if i was a trans guy but what really solidified it to me was being unable to live with the thought of dying as anything but an old man. i can't imagine not having grey facial hair and old faded top surgery scars and maybe grandchildren who call me "grandpa". i just cant live with the thought of my gravestone having "daughter, wife, aunt, niece, grandmother," carved into it along with the name of a stranger. they can't ask me to die as a her. They won't kill me as a her. they wont bury me as a her. Its not fair. They can carve the wrong name into stone and dig up my bones and say "this skeleton makes a woman" but i assure you i'm going to die as a man with the name those close to my heart know me by. and i'm going to live long enough to meet him, the future version of me, because if theyre gonna try to bury me as a woman theyre gonna have to try and kill the man in me to do it. and ill cackle from my casket knowing they had to try to erase me in death because i wouldnt let them do it while i was alive. I wouldnt let them.
