I have a fic idea. It is very niche and specific, to the point where I don't think anyone will read it, I mean it's a ship from a YouTube video 7 years ago. I need to know if there is a fandom out there willing to read it cause I don't know if I can write without getting any feedback.

Here's it goes: SELOBERT from Flamingo lore

-kinda inspired by that black mirror episode where a real consciousness can be uploaded to a game and abused. And the myth Roblox games where you can't quit: Rust's games "please don't leave" and drags your mouse back.

-Au of a world where accessing the internet transports you there fully mentally in a digital form. Simply leaving the server will take you out of it, there are fail-safes in place in case anything happens, that's why when a game crashes and you have command task it, it's very scary. Because you get stuck there digitally, it takes a second but once the computer realizes the application isn't working, it'll fully pull you out. Same creepy applies when the game won't let you leave (mouse getting close to exit)

-If: something happens to Albert and his mind becomes stuck in the game, he cannot leave because somebody hacked his computer (or something), and his body dies irl.

-All these "games" are real worlds and real people, of course they were designed, but the reality itself is somewhat sentient, where it functions by itself, including the characters that are sentient. 

-When Albert plays Alones games, the characters in it are real but not being controlled from other people. There are ofc "multiplayer games" with irl people, there is a separation of multiplayer and worlds. Alones is a world. Developers can play as their characters by taking over their will, but it is still the same character experiencing and they remember everything. They honestly don't realize they're being controlled since they are still in character, it's only natural

-What if: Albert becomes stuck in one of Alones worlds? The "lore" becomes reality he has to survive in? And there is only three people. He must try and find out what happened to his irl body and leave the game. 

-Lore (mostly from wiki): They live in a bleak world at war with the Guardians. The Guardians are extremely powerful and invade this world, slaying most of their kind. Alone blames Selozar because he left his post when invading in an attempt to save his own life. Technically it was too late to save their kind, but Alone must blame someone in his grief. He enslaves Selozar as punishment because of this, and partially because he is half guardian and regarded as a traitor. Their world is mostly barren except for the beast, which was designed to protect them. After much torment as alone devolves into madness, Selozar attempts to murder him by dropping a pillar onto Alones head, which is what renders him half brain dead and more insane (this happens suddenly in one of Flamingo's videos). This just makes Selozars situation worse. I need to research more on what happens after this, there's the Christmas party ofc.

HC: I like the fan art of Selozar of looking like Obsidian with black and purple, as the characters are actually made of stone(wiki). Has black smooth skin, like marble, cold and hard, but still humanoid in mobility and function. When cut it's more like a scrape on a counter that can be repaired, but crumbles instead of bleeding and DOES hurt. Selozar kinda has a face, the features are there but they do not have color and his eyes are not there, but you can still see his emotion through his eyebrow movement. I personally like the sweater design, but I do not think that's how it'd be realistically. Those are his body/grate designs, since I kind of imagine him as a statue. He can only wear his hat as clothes because of his random size changes that flux on emotions and choice, so it's kinda impractical. He does wear a cloak later on which kinda of makes sense to me with his size changes, its not restricting.

Alone traveler can apparently change his color at any point which I'm going to correlate his Selozars perk to change his size (tho it may be guardian related idk..), then Alone can change his colors. 

Not sure what to with Uleanra, honestly not sure how much I'll include them

-Desc: Selozar is surprised by Alberts change in behavior, what used to be a very quirky silly man, who was trying to understand the base of their world, is now a panicked and serious person trying to escape. They'd had visitors before to visit the devastation of their world, passerbys of the war. They came from a world with more color and exaggerations. When Selozar and Alone traveled, and stole that old couples house, his eyes hurt from the colors. But it was beautiful, it wasn't often he got to see it. 

Or: Albert gets stuck in AloneTraveler's world in a universe where playing a game is being fully mentally transported there. Something has happened to the outside world with his computer, and he only has so long to get back to his body before something bad happens. And of course there is Selozar.

-This is my excuse for world building in the AloneTraveler's universe. I hate the man, but I know multiple people worked on the project, so I am going to separate the artist from the art. I have very limited knowledge on the subject other than Alberts vids, so this is going to be based off public wiki knowledge and head canon. I've tried researching more but it's buried in old YouTube and the wiki isn't very helpful on the actual world myth. I also know that Selozar does not wish to be shipped with anyone, but I am using purely the character he created, which is retired and no longer being updated since like 2020, I think it's fair to have my fun with it. This is going to treated very seriously, kinda crack treated seriously but only in regarding the past with Flamingos online persona, the rest is going to be very realistic, like Ready Player One type shi.

I have no idea why I'm obsessed with this. But I want to write what's in my head so 👍

Headcanon that bludhaven hates heroes with a flaming passion bc theyre just cops in tights but love Nightwing and therefore vehemently deny his hero status to anyone and everyone.

Like there is no official Nightwing merch bc he’s a criminal he’s committing a crime okay vigilante justice is in fact not legal and he’s not TECHNICALLY on the justice league and he’s NOT TECHNICALLY the leader of the titans anymore. But there are about 400 different Etsy stores that make hoodies, crop tops, joggers, sweats, sunglasses, bracelets, t shirts with nightwings logo or some art of him on them.

Like they love this guy and will get into beef with any Gotham national who tries to claim Nightwing is THEIR hero.

Every sandwich place or fast food chain has a ‘secret menu item’ that’s not actually secret bc everyone orders it and it’s just one of their normal items dyed blue (sodas, desserts, burger buns, condiments so on) some places will sell wings fried in blue panko bread crumbs and call them them ‘nightwings’ ofc these are ALL off the menu you can’t see these items and if you try to order them out of the city you get weird looks.

Superman goes on tv and says Nightwing is one of his favorite hero’s and bludhaven riots. wtf nightwing is your favorite hero you fuckin poser

D) since they are anti hero they are firmly unhelpful whenever he or Steph show up bc a case has lead them to the city

The one plus side was watching Jason Todd having a mental breakdown bc apparently in bludhaven redhood counts as a hero and is therefore hated.

Jason barely remembered getting back to his safe house or even finding his way to bed. The night had been so tiring, so busy, and so many parts of his body hurt.

The moment his head hit the pillow, he was out like a light. Drifting off into dreamland for some much need sleep.

That was until a noise stirred him up from his sleep. It was a soft creak of one of his many loose floorboards.

It was in a flash that Jason was up, eyes still heavy with sleep, and a gun held to his thigh as he exited his bedroom. The soft light coming from his bathroom was the first hint.

When he pushed open the bathroom door, the sight before him had him holstering his weapon. Black hair, blue eyes, and blood. That's all Jason needed to see.

Jason would swear he wasn't still half asleep, that he knew this wasn't one of his brothers. In reality, still sluggish from a hard night and sleep deprivation, Jasin's brain had automatically assumed it was one of his baby brothers.

As he immediately settled into patching up the wounds, holding back questions for now. It wouldn't be the first time one of them came to him for aid when they didn't want Bruce to know they were hurt yet.

It was pure muscle memory as Jason worked. Yes, he didn't like the injuries, reminding himself to ask which rogue did this in the morning.

Now wasn't the time for an interrogation. Not with the barely concealed tears in those eyes, or the dark bags that decorated beneath them.

He barely grumbled for the teen to take the couch, reminding that there were extra blankets in the hallway closet. Dropping a few pills into the boy's hand to help with the pain he was surely in.

Jason left the mess in the bathroom, leaving it a problem for more awake him. He waved the boy off when he tried to speak, telling him they'll talk in the morning.

In the end, Jason was glad to finally face plant back into his bed. Barely bothering to curl up under the covers before sleep took over once again.

When morning came, Jason almost forgot about letting one of his brother's crash in his place. Stumbling out of his bedroom to immediately notice the lump on his couch.

He put a pot of coffee on, grabbing his phone, ready to let Bruce know that whoever came to him last night was safe and sound.

Except, when Jason moved over to confirm who it was, he finally noticed. This wasn't one of his brothers. And last he heard, Bruce hadn't taken in any new strays.

Jason stood over the sleeping boy, phone in one hand, and mind figuring out what to do. His mind replaying the half-asleep memories from last night.

It made sense, now that he thought about it. The boy had seemed so scared, so surprised that Jason was helping. The boy hadn't done anything either by the looks of it.

He didn't seem to have taken anything or even snooped. The boy seemed to have just crashed on the couch like Jason had told him to. He didn't come here to rob him or cause trouble. The kid had broken into his safe house only to raid his first aid kit.

Jason getting readopted as Red Hood and without either side knowing about the other's identity would be SO funny and honestly, the question of how isn't that hard to answer. It goes a little something like this:

Bruce, did not want to force young Jason into an uncomfortable environment/places where he could also be recognized even while undercover. Thus never letting him see or interact with the Matches Malone persona. Jason obviously hides his face and identity not only from the batfam but from his employees too. His plans are carefully hidden and any motive besides hurting the Batman and his new Robin are unknown.

So Bruce wants to know more about Red Hood and infiltrates the crime boss' gang to figure out his next move. Problem is- the moment they work together for a longer than a week Bruce realizes that the Red Hood is an obvious TEEN. A smart, competent and dangerous one but still. He then tries to connect to RH, now hoping he can bring him on the right path. Ofc Bruce is still riddled with grief of loosing Jason but the new kid crime boss reminds him too much of his son to stay away from too long.

Red Hood, sees a hard working, well connected henchman and promotes him to a higher position. With time he slowly bonds with this vaguely dad-shaped henchman and is getting comfortable with the mpan's paternal mannerism towards him. Jason learning that Matches hates the Joker's gut just as much as he does, bc that clown murdered the man's son helps immensely. Honestly, Jason's kinda impressed when the man confesses to nearly successfully ending Joker himself and only failing due to a series of unlikely events.

Then offers Matches a bigger role in his whole Revenge Plan, which Bruce reluctantly agrees to hear out.

If the little bird really wants to fly that badly then he should expect someone to pluck him from the sky sooner or later! Matches : ...what if Batman is there? Y'know, letting them run around at night... but he IS paranoid as fuck... and Nightwing could.... now thinking about it...*proceeds to take down the board in frustration* UGH! Matches: Do you want me to bring you some tea while you to think about your plan some more? Jason: ........yes please

please let me know if I’ve made any mistakes in crediting but these guy’s posts were my main inspiration fr

enjoy some WIPs, currently I’m making them for reference so I can draw the gang doing some scenes

might have gone a bit insane over the festive season and fallen head first into this western AU. basically everything is the same but instead of Vikings it’s cowboys! I’m gonna colour these all and want to do more art/drawings of this too bc it has been occupying my thoughts lol

- set in a fictional Old West, similar to how the canon treats Viking lore and accuracy, assume this is the same 😂

- in this AU, Hiccup loses his leg before he meets Toothless in some sort of stampede/horse-related accident, which makes Stoic, the cheif of the town, more protective of him/not want him to go near them

- Hiccup finds Toothless as a wild mustang, trapped in a gorge. Hijinx ensue, Hiccup saves him, and they bond.

-Hiccup and Fishlegs live in the same town. Astrid, Lout, Ruff and Tuff are part of a group of travelling cowboys from out of town or somethin lol. Something happens and Legs and Hic have to travel with them for a bit. Haven’t worked everything out yet but if people have ideas feel free to let me know!

- Ruff and Tuff are in charge of the supplies wagon and they often confuse Barf & Belch with their arguing. The poor horses go in different directions or one of them might stop while the other keeps going 😭

- Meatlug is usually seen pulling a little wagon with extra supplies/Fishlegs rides in the wagon sometimes when they go on adventures so she ends up being the slowest in the group, similar to how she is the slowest of the gang’s dragons

- Hookfang is an Arabian horse and he has a really firey temper and has a similar relationship to Snotlout as in the canon. Snotlout made Hookfang rear up on his hind legs once, but Snotlout fell off and Hookfang left him in the dust 💀

- Astrid is the leader of the cowboys. Stormfly has little braids in her mane as that’s Astrid’s way of showing affection.

i love the idea of joining the batfam by dating bruce, but can you imagine how awkward it must be ?

like you are dating bruce, you most probably know he is batman (he couldn't date seriously someone and never tell them) which is like a huge thing, you probably knew each others for at least 5 years and dated for at least 2 before you even step foot in his house and even then ! you still have never meet any of his adopted kids, he always has a way of avoiding The meeting.

of course - you know who his kids are, bruce is ... literally the it guy of gotham, you very much know the names and faces of his family - but that's it (now if you know their vigilantes identities is different story)

the question is, are they aware of your existence ? (of course alfred is aware; that out of the question, he followed to development of yours and bruce relationship from a to z)

going more for a no, not at the start, bruce has this clumsy dumb bilionaire personality but he probably could not like for you to receive media attention because he doesn't wish for your privacy to be intruded upon because you are dating (now there may have been one instance where the paparazzi took a picture of you and him together, but they could only see you from the back, or your face wasn't visible for whatever reason). they probably learnt about your existence very late into your relationship with bruce, and it's surely by accident, like, one of them see a message from you to bruce (and it's something probably something very cheesy) when he left it somewhere by inadvertence. and depending on who see that, they either fully open bruce's phone (sorry but they all know his phone password, bruce isn't aware of that tho) and read your conversation or they find some others way to have access to his messages with you (that isn't so blatant).

they for sure, do an 'emergency' meeting about it (dick and damian were the two that really wanted to do one, the rest probably don't care that much at that time, they probably think you are just the fling of the month for bruce - well usually the fling of the month is not that ... cheesy with him ? in their messages, and the conversations aren't usually that long ... nor do they go back that much. but whatever ! they do suddenly notice that it's been a while, since, well the last fling of the month of bruce but, it must just be a coincidence) which end up with them keeping tabs on you, just in case

now, you meeting them could happen in two way

either they are the one to meet you first - they don't want to wait for bruce to formally introduce you to them - or them to you. the one that 'lead' this is for sure damian, he is determinate to find out your intention with his father (and fight you), dick will lie and say he is just there to make sure everything go 'well' but he is just genuinely very curious about you and the fact that you are dating bruce - this can go for most of them, tho cass and tim are probably the one that are the most reticent to meeting you ? but nevertheless, they still are here, because they for sure won't let damian and dick have all the 'fun'. now jason, is probably also coming for the shit and giggle.

or you meeting them could happen because of bruce - deciding that it's finally time you meet his kids, so he invite all of them to dinner telling them he was someone he wants them to meet, and telling you explicitly that he wants you to meet his family (and the people that are part of his family but aren't family family) - of course, he could talk about it with you first, he could never force you into that. the meet - dinner, probably do not go in the way bruce hoped for it to go (but truth be told, he wasn't expecting it to go the way he wished it did). it's not awful, nothing bad happen. it's just awkward. one of them (probably jason) let slip that they already knew about you - damian make it very clear that he doesn't accept you (and dick has to try to diffuse the situation and tell you that damian is just joking - damian is not joking and he gives a death glare to dick), tim probably do not say anything of half of the dinner before asking you a weird question about something he should have no information about (like what's up with one of your weird habit / quirk), cass is just silent - she assess you for the entirety of the dinner (she conclude by the end of it that you quite a nice person and that she likes you quite a bit), duke is very kind and is very polite with you (he is a bit apprehensive and isn't sure why he is there but he figures it's because bruce wanted to have at least one regular person treating you normally - dick is too ... enthusiastic for that role)

at the end of said dinner, when bruce is driving you home, it's probably the most silent ride home you have ever experienced. until you burst out laughing - the dinner was probably the funniest shit you experienced. it felt like it came straight out of a shitty tv show with 14 seasons. sure it was very much awkward but still funny ! you reassure bruce that it was fine, though you could have liked a warning.

and ... you can add a yandere twist on it, and i love yandere so ... . some of them (tim and cass and probably dick) could start developing yandere tendencies when they learn of your existence ( and keep 'tab on you' aka stalks you and learn everything they can about you ), the others (damian and jason + eventually steph and duke even though they are probably some of waaay lesser yandere-y yandere) could start becoming like that after they finally meet you in person. damian could be the one to take the most or less time to become attach on you, it depend, but he could go thru a big phase of 'i refuse for you to replace talia, my mother, therefor i will despite your entire existence' but if you try to get closer to him, this phase will end very soon and his barrier melt away, if you want to let him take his time to accept you, the result will be the same but damian will try to make up for the time he hated you.

and of course, yandere bruce could be so happy for you to like / get to know and get closer to his family, and that's one more way he can tie you to him !
