I'm just gonna answer this separately because it's easier to explain with pictures.

A "composite photo" is either one of two things--a single image made by merging multiple photos together, often in cool artsy ways to make it look like something impossible is happening, or, in professional and academic contexts, a collection of portraits of a class or group of people.

This is a composite of the Wayne State Department of Mortuary Science, class of 1958. I got it at a thrift store.

Sorority composites are those, typically including all the members in a given year, or all the graduating seniors. I have a bunch, because I was in an undergraduate sorority and then two graduate fraternities. And I also have composites from my graduating classes in both undergrad and grad school.

They're weird things to have, honestly, because I've never met anyone who displayed them at home or in their office outside academia. I just sort of have them forever, sandwiched between pieces of cardboard and napped on by Malice.

Danny and Sam cause chaos at a gala

So Sam is forced to one of her families galas, and Danny is also forced to go because he had convinced Jack and Maddie that it would be good for his future carer

Sam and Danny find this out after complaining to each other, once they realised they were both going to the same gala they started planning

So he didn't know how to react when as he arrived 2 teenagers were half beating the shit out of joker and half dancing

All the goons were stuck to walls and furniture, and all the gala attendants were perfectly fine, there was also phineas and ferb songs and my little pony songs playing in the background

A girl in a poofy purple dress with knee-high combat boots was dancing to the cartoon songs while stomping on the jokers back

And a black-haired teen in a ripped-up suit with mismatched combat boots was dancing with the girl while kicking the joker's teeth in

Sam and Danny planned for a week, they would sneak in and set up speakers with my little pony and Phineas and Ferb songs, 2 sets of combat boots and a Fenton blaster modified to shoot a glue like substance

So in the middle of the gala Sam and Danny started their playlist

They gave no fucks

For the first 15 minutes, they were just smashing furniture(their rich they can pay) and giving people the finger while dancing with each other to cartoon songs

Then they hopped up on tables and started firing their Fenton blasters everywhere

It was the best

So like hell they were stopping just because Bobo the wannabe clown decided to drop by

I’m gonna cry… I had an entire analysis for this typed out but my wifi is shit so it refused to post😭😭 anyways, this is based off of the @ladybugout-au permanent superhero team. I decided against doing Luka’s Cadmeancio suit because I 1. Didn’t want to draw him in orange and 2. I was already pushing it with making a purple/red Neurofoxin. Only reason I made her purple is because natural coloring obviously doesn’t mean shit to the character designers if Juleka gets to be a purple red tiger. Anyways, here’s my take on their suits!

Hecattack: I wanted to diverge from the furry/bdsm influences Chat’s suit got, so I gave him looser fit pants, a hood and combat boots. His suit was lowkey inspired by Red Hood’s design because, dammit, DC may be super dark, but they know how to design characters well (something MLB could stand to learn from ಠ_ಠ) anyways, along with the hood and paneled top+cargo pants+combat boots, I gave him cat-shaped knee pads, similar to Ivan’s turtle shell knee pads. You will also notice a trend with a lot of my hero suit designs, which is fingerless gloves. Yes, this’ll take away from the cat claw thing Chat had going on, but I’m ok with that. To go with his punk/rock band aesthetic, he got combat boots with the signature cat paw steel toes. His tail is pretty much the same along with the ears. His mask is also different, covering the bottom half of his face. This also takes away from the cat sclera thing the original Chat had, but Luka isn’t a furry so… also, the mask covering his mouth alludes to his calm nature and quiet personality, not feeling the need to play around, especially during a battle,which was where the original Chat erred most often. Luka also has very expressive eyes, so I wanted to push that, like, even if he doesn’t talk much, he’s still a good communicator. Plus, when cats are hunting, they’re quiet! Which the original Chat cannot relate to!

Ladybug: ok, so her suit is still pretty basic, since I wanted to stick with he AU’s canon description of her suit. The main bodice/legs are similar to the season 4 suit after she calls on the lucky charm, but the sleeves are slightly different. I also got rid of the “reverse” polka dots cuz they just look ugly imo. Her gloves are also fingerless, since I feel like that would 1. Lend better to doing yo-yo tricks and 2. They just look better (u_u) anyways, her hair is still the same, as well as her mask. It’s pretty basic but eh…

Neurofoxin: her design is also super simple, but I also wanted to veer away from the gaudy orange normally associated with the fox miraculous. If she can make her tiger suit purple and red, I can make her fox costume reddish purple!! She’s goth, she’s not gonna walk around in *o r a n g e*. And I stand by that. Anyways, like I said her suit is relatively simple, the panels of the suit modeled after Volpina’s actually, because despite how I hate Lila and her stupid sausage link hair, her volpina suit was pretty cute. Instead of giving her a jacket w/coattails or a belt/sash to be her tail, I decided to make it her hair, cuz even in civilian form it’s pretty long. I also decided that instead of a dark grey/black to purple, I’d make the tips the same cream as her “underbelly” panel, as I wanted to incorporate the cream in more than just that singular spot. I also pulled her bang back because even if she’s goth, she still needs to be able to see properly as a superhero. Plus, I like Juleka’s eyes, and I feel like Trixx would like her to show off more. Anyways, besides the morph suit and her hair being a bit longer than normal+a different color, she has a cropped leather jacket,same color as her suit. There’s also paneling on the side/back of her thighs/back that’s a darker red/purple color. Again, to go with her rockstar/alt aesthetic, I gave her combat boots as well, though hers are knee high, plus I forgot to draw the laces, but eh. Fun fact: I headcanon the Couffaine twins as being super tall for their age, but Juleka is taller than her twin for now+her boots are heeled.

Fukiya: for Kagami’s suit, I pulled inspo from someone else’s LBO AU fanart, although I can’t remember who’s it was. Originally, I was gonna go for a suit similar to Kagami’s fencing gear, but decided to go w the suit she has now so it’d be more reminiscent of a bee. I gave her a sleeveless, cropped kimono, the bottom of which has a honeycomb pattern and an ombré going from dark yellow to black. Her obi has two layers, the bottom layer being a bright yellow and the outside layer being black. Her sleeves are similar to Queen Bee’s, but with an added black line. Her legs are completely black with the exception of her knee pads, which are a bright yellow and octogon shaped. I wanted her to look more bee-esque than Queen Bee or Vesperia (her character design is 🤢) so I gave her the yellow torso with black limbs, than made the kimono collar thick to look like a neck ruff or smth. I honestly struggled with her design a bit but it looks ok in the end so I’m happy with it :) also, Kagami is the shortest because I said so!

Heavy Matal: oh, Ivan, you absolute teddy bear of a guy. I adore the Iván of this AU, he’s so sweet, a gentle giant, so I wanted to focus on making him look slightly softer than the rest of the heroes, despite being the turtle holder. I gave him his signature cargoes, although they’re pants instead of shorts when he’s transformed, a sleeveless hoodie, and “turtle”-neck compression-esque undershirt, the sleeves long enough to be, you guessed it, fingerless gloves! The only reason Kagami is the only one with full gloves is because I wanted to giver a more serious/conservative look. Mari’s been ladybug so long she deserves to have cute, fingerless gloves! Anyways, back to Ivan! His hoodie is two toned, like a turtle’s shell, with the front being a light green. It’s patterned to look like a turtle shell underbelly, with a nice big pocket to hold whatever. He wears elbow- and knee-pads, which are shaped like little turtle shells. He wears regular Vans-style tennies, and his mask is similar to Carapace’s, except it cover the majority of the front of his face (think Kid Flash), and is colored/patterned similarly to a box turtle, with red accents along his cheekbones and his little tuft of hair is his usual blond with an ombré to that same red. (Ignore the ear I forgot to color in plz, I don’t feel like editing anymore T-T)

Ok, so that’s it for today’s character designs! I’m working on redesigning pretty much everyone’s civilian and hero costumes. I haven’t mentioned on this blog, but on pretty much every Gabe!Salt fic I’ve read, I will tell you, whoever the hell designed most of the characters in MLB, you deserve to be fired and then arrested. I’m so sorry, but there’s no way ur gonna convince me Fashion Designer™️ Marinette Dupain-Cheng walks out of her house every day, wearing ugly ass ballet flats+”denim” jeggings in that shade of pink. No way. And don’t even get me started on Gabriel’s candy-cane, red pants and duck hair headass, because omg… that man is supposed to be a world renowned Fashion Designer™️, one of the best in Paris. IN. PARIS!! No fucking way. No way. I get, you want ur characters to be simple and easily recognizable, but that doesn’t mean they have to be ugly!! And I get it, Adrien’s supposed to have a model-off-duty look, but wth are those shoes? Plus, why does he never change for his photo shoots? He’s a MODEL! I get it, you can’t even spend money to change the transformation animation to whatever the characters are actually wearing but wtf??? If you were gonna have any kid’s show where we get to see a lot of different clothes/outfits, this would be the show!! Two of the main characters are fashion designers, one of the minor antagonists is the daughter of a fashion magazine owner and your other main character is a model. IN PARIS!! A city known for its fashion and “romance”. And ur telling me you can’t add a few more outfits to the show??? That’s called lazy writing/animation.

Ugh, sorry abt that rant, but the character designs genuinely piss me off. It’s bullshit.

river's pov; five pm "Bye, Sarah! Bye, Mrs. Goode! See you tomorrow!" I waved, voice a higher pitch due to nervousness.

Moon gurgled happily within my arms as I clutched onto her for comfort, my cheek falling onto her little head as Mrs. Goode and her daughter waved goodbye with matching wide smiles.

Shivers tumbled down my spine when it was only Moon and I inside the room.

I had hoped that by this time the rest of the parents would arrive after Jungkook did. But, as always, Jungkook would be here in time. At exactly five o'clock.

Oddly enough, the rest of the kids' guardians came early to pick them up due to a football game at Ashley Waters High.

It was at this moment I realized that today, the good lord was most definitely not on my side.

With a resigned sigh, I closed the entrance door and walked back towards the playroom to gather Moon's things and pack them back into her diaper bag her dad packed and left with her the days she was here.

Setting Moon to play on the soft carpet with some soft toys, I folded her stained clothes which she had dirtied when playing with her food earlier, wrapped them up in a paper bag, and slid them into the sleek black backpack that had the moon phases on the front below the zipper.

"Gah!" The shrill that left Moon's lips had me jumping when she threw a white fluffy bunny off her lap to grasp the purple one.

I giggled to myself and crawled towards her to hand her the bunny. "Here, little Moon."

She sent a gummy smile up at me before her mind and attention were taken over by the toys in front of her.

Seeing she was now taken care of, I hummed to myself, putting her other toys and snacks inside the bag before zipping it shut.

My shoulders slumped in relief once all of Moon's items were in her bag. I always felt awkward and hesitant to go through another person's bag — permission given or not. It was still awkward for me.

I dusted off my pants and pulled my long hair back into a high ponytail, feeling tiredness creep into my joints. Babysitting energetic kids while surviving on five hours of sleep would exhaust a girl.

Stifling a yawn, I laid on my tummy in front of Moon's little feet and played with her toys for her as she laughed — clapping her teeny hands together.

"A-gan!" She demanded, cutely outstretching the purple bunny.

"Okay," I giggled, feet kicking back and forth in the air. Time passed as I pretended to make the bunnies dance.

I was so involved in making Moon happy that I failed to realize a looming dark shadow swallowing my frame — watching intensely.

That was until Moon looked over my shoulder and screamed shrilly — little tears of joy already pricking her wide doe eyes.

"You girls having fun?" I felt my heart drop out of my bottom at the sound of Jungkook's husky, orotund voice.

I felt that familiar ball lodge itself in my throat as Moon whimpered happily and scrambled up, the little ruffles of her little pink dress shifting around her tiny knees.

"Da! Da!" She shrieked happily, and waddled past my tensed, frozen limbs to cling onto Jungkook's pants.

I forced back a whimper of my own, this one of fear, and slowly turned my eyes to stare at his black Balenciaga combat boots.

Moon tugged at his dark jeans and pouted, sniffles coming from her throat, "Up! Da, Up!" She demanded in her cute voice, wanting to be picked up and cuddled.

I felt his stare pierce through me, and I shivered and shied away. It was like I was naked — and he could see entirely through me.

I didn't like that.

It was an odd, uncomfortable feeling. And I did not like odd and uncomfortable things.

Jungkook's hands came down and grasped Moon's little waist and hoisted her up to cuddle against his robust, toned chest.

I avoided looking in his direction as he mumbled sweetly to Moon — greeting her happily after being away from her the whole day.

I scurried over towards the cubbies and withdrew Moon's diaper bag — knowing he was looking at me.

Panic bubbled up inside me as he drew closer, tugging at the white tank top and white button-down shirt he wore overtop.

I quickly took a glance down at his black studded belt and felt my breath catch.

In the blink of an eye, he was standing right in front of me, Moon happily and quietly resting in his huge tattooed arms.

Keep calm, River. Please don't make a fool of yourself.

"Thank you for watching over her for me," he spoke softly as if he was afraid to say the wrong thing. "She always has fun here." He chuckled, eliciting a gurgled laugh to leave Moon. 

It only made my head sink lower.

He made me feel like a child again. Small, weak, and so submissive.

"No problem!" I squealed dumbly, fumbling with my arms as I wrapped them around myself and met his eyes shyly.

"I...I love spending time with her." I admitted in a low whisper, feeling a tiny ounce of proudness rushing through my veins.

His boba-like eyes gleamed happily when they met mine and his breath seemed to catch in his throat as he willed the eye contact to continue. 

The soles of his boots squeaked on the linoleum floor as he shifted his feet. 

The sound made my eyes fall to the floor and I jerkily held out the handle of Moon's bag.

I opened my mouth, but no words would leave me. My limbs seemed frozen, and I couldn't move.

His stare stuck me in place and didn't allow movement.

"Thanks," he rumbled and reached forward to grab the bag.

His huge warm tattooed hand brushed against my tiny one, making me gasp and jump back from the contact of his skin sizzling against mine.

My heart rate amped up and raced inside my chest.

Dingleberries! What was that?

I peeked up in time to see Jungkook's jaw rock back and forth as he opened his mouth, before snapping it shut. He licked at the silver hoops through his bottom lip, naturally drawing my eyes to his lips.

I blushed at the otherworldly handsome man in front of me and inched back.

He was scary, but dingleberries — he looked so perfect. Like he jumped out of my fantasies.

"...I better get going." Jungkook broke the silence and stared down at my frame which he dwarfed with his huge muscular build.

Moon had already fallen asleep during our awkward, yet intense encounter.

"Yeah," I whispered back, wrapping my arms around my stomach.

Jungkook let out a grin.

His boba doe eyes watched me and observed my figure before he stepped away and slowly left the room, not forgetting to look over his shoulder every few seconds to make sure I was there.

Where else could I go?

I was still frozen, rooted, and unable to move until he was well away from the daycare center.

third pov ; jeon jungkook ; six thirty pm

Jungkook couldn't help the boyish smile that was on his face as he and Moon watched yet another episode of Paw Petrol before Moon's bedtime.

All that was on his mind, at this moment, was River.

She had spoken to him!

She looked like she could have fainted before him, but he talked to her!

Jungkook felt his toes curl in excitement at the future possibilities. He knew she was intimidated by him, most people were, but he hoped in time, that she would look past his domineering aura — apart from the bedroom, that is — until he could show her that he was nothing to be afraid of.

His aunt and mother always told him that he was just a big ass teddy bear on the inside.

His hand tingles at the memory of him purposely brushing his skin against her little tiny hand — and fuck, her skin was so silky soft.

Jungkook nearly growled at the remembrance of her jasmine and laven scent wafting off her little womanly body.

Moon tugged at his shirt, dragging him from his thoughts to show him her favorite part of her show.

"I see, baby." He assured her beautifully adorable daughter, placing a kiss on her little head as she splayed out on his chest.

As he rocked Moon to sleep, Jungkook could only wonder what tomorrow would bring.

Would he finally get to talk to her again?

Idk why but i keep visualizing Velvet and Veneer going through an emo phase when they were in school

I can picture Velvet going through an emotional phase 💯, and Veneer well, he’d do it cause Velvet did it. I get that vibe from him.

But he secretly really liked it, at least the style. Since I picture him wearing beanies all the time emo Veneer would have a particular style:

Veneer: Dark blue beanie, his little swoop of green hair covering his right eye. Ragged dark denim vest with a black tshirt underneath. His typical black skinny pants and combat boots. He’s definitely have some highlights on his hair, I’m thinking dark blue. This is when he’d gotten his ears pierced along with a fake lip ring (yeah he ain’t doing that for real. Lol)

Velvet: Velet would also sport some highlights in her hair. For her I was thinking dark purple. She’d have bangs that would droop a little over her face (not too much). I totally picture her style being dark colored over sized hoodies over a black skin tight mini dress/skirt. Netted leggings underneath with heeled combats boots over black knee high stockings. She’d definitely be expressive through her jewelry: ACTUAL lip ring, nose ring, earrings, dark nail polish.

Personality wise, Vels would totally nail the attitude to the T. Vennie on the other hand, yeah, not so much. He’d try, but this would definitely embarrass his sister.

Ron nodded, “Yeah, I guess it has been a while since we went to, like, a really nice place.”

“So, as long as nothing world ending happens between now and Saturday-”

Just as Km said it, her locker beeped and as she opened it, the computer she kept in it flickered on showing Wade in his usual place, looking slightly nervous. Wade being nervous was never a good thing.

“Hey Wade, what’s the sitch?”

“Hey Kim,” Wade said, but his voice wavered a little as he asked, “I was wondering if I could get a favor from Ron.”

“Not me?” Kim asked immediately.

“Ron’s more the style I’m looking for.”

“Ron’s style?” Kim asked incredulously, but Ron put his hand on her shoulder.

“I get it Wade, whatever you need, I got it covered.”

“Thanks.” Wade’s image on Kim’s locker computer switched to a photo from Wade’s last family reunion, all the kids of five aunts and uncles and six more older cousins in one shot. A red circle blinked into existence at the edge of the photo, around Wade and a slightly older kid standing next to him with his hand on Wade’s shoulder wearing a red beret and thick black rimmed glasses. “This is my cousin, Tucker. He and his friends are coming to visit Middleton this weekend for the science convention.”

“Wait, cousin Tucker? The Cousin Tucker?” Ron nearly shoving Kim out of the way of the locker to get a better look at the photo.

Kim rolled her eyes then asked, “Is he a big deal?”

“Uh, cheah,” Ron said, letting Kim back in front of the locker, “He helped Wade design your battle suit!”

“That’s the one,” Wade said, “He gave me the idea to make it, and he has a lot of experience working on high-powered combat jumpsuits. Really, he did most of the designing part of it; I just did all the hard work of actually making it.”

“Really? High-powered combat jumpsuits is something someone can have a lot of experience with?” Kim asked, but it did make sense. She had been a bit surprised that Wade had come up with the battle suit; he’s a gadget guy, not a suit guy. And there wasn't a shortage of teenage geniuses in the world.

“Yeah, he's awesome, and his friends?” Wade said, and an image came onto the screen of a teenage girl with dyed black hair. She wore a black tank top with a purple bat in the center of the chest and unattached long bell sleeves along with a black and green plaid miniskirt over torn black tights. Her knee high boots had thick blocky souls that made her at least four inches taller and were covered in straps and metal. In the photo, she was leaning on a wall pointing at a horror movie poster next to her. “This is Sam Manson, she was the top, the number one, Doomed player in the world, and right now, she’s top ten in the sequel, Eternal Torment, and money’s on her to break top five within the month.”

“Eternal Torment!” Ron shouted, getting strange looks from others in the hall, but he didn’t care, “The online video game that’s so hard 50% of all players rage quite before finishing it?”

“That’s a myth, it’s closer to 32% and lowering with the new patches, but yes, that’s the one.”

“Woah,” Ron basically had heart eyes as he stared at the goth gamer girl, and Kim wasn’t jealous. She wasn’t.

“What about this guy?” Kim asked, other photos of Wade’s cousin and his friends had come up, usually with three people, Tucker, Sam, and the one Kim was pointing at now. He had naturally black hair and bright blue eyes, and while Tucker's and Sam’s outfits changed in every image, he seemed to wear the same torn jeans, NASA t-shirt, and red hoodie in everything he was in. Though, there were a few of him that had a kind of grainy distortion over them, kind of made him look like he had pointed ears, or shark teeth, or glowing eyes.

“That’s Danny Fenton, and he’s cool but kinda… strange,” Wade pulled up some newspaper articles where Dr.’s Fenton cause havoc in a small town in Iowa, professional ghost hunters whose inventions go awry and destroy buildings; and Danny himself seemed to have a public feud with the Mayor of his town and there was a magazine article about how he discovered that the Amity Park Zoo’s purple-back gorilla was female. “Yeah, he’s a bit all over the place and hard to get a read on. But, he does like space and rocket science. And, Tucker said that Danny's family is the one that makes a lot of high-powered combat jumpsuits. Apparently, Dr.'s Fenton only wear high-powered combat jumpsuits.”

Ron nodded along, then asked, “This is all fascinating Wade, but why are you telling us all this?”

“Well,” Wade rubbed his neck nervously, “When Tucker said he was visiting and going to the convention, I kinda said that I was also planning on going with my friends… My IRL friends. I wanted him to think I was cool, and he knows I have a hard time making offline friends, but I didn’t want him to think I was a loser. So…”

“So you need a living breathing friend to go with! Sure thing, buddy. I’m free- oh, no, wait,” Ron pointed between him and Kim, “we were just talking about going on a nice date this weekend.”

Kim waved her hand dismissively, “It’s fine, we can stop somewhere for dinner after the convention.”

“We?”

Kim nodded and looked at Wade in her locker, “My dad’s a rocket scientist, I bet at least Danny will think I’m cool, and I bet Sam will like having another girl there to talk to.”

“She does tend to get along with everyone,” Ron said, “Except for Bonnie… and Drakken, but they’re both supervillains, so I don’t think that’s a point against her.”

Wade smiled, “Thanks Kim. I’ll send you guys info on the convention and where to meet.”

“Ten-four, Wade, we’ll see you there.” Kim said and closed her locker as Wade logged off.

“You really think this’ll be fun?” Ron asked, “Or are you just being nice for Wade?”

“No, I like hanging out with Wade, and you know,” Kim shrugged awkwardly, “What are the chances of there being a mad scientist bent on world domination at the convention?”

“With our luck? 100%” Ron said, with all seriousness before breaking into chuckles. “Now, school’s out and mission’s not till the weekend, that means it’s Bueno Nacho time!”

Marziale

Marziale is a musical creature called a Noise Beast. She takes the form of a vampire bat in combat and a regular vampire when purified. She lives in a castle and guards a gate between the human world and the World of Music. She is the cousin of Miria, who is the mother of two of the main characters of the game, Beyond and Arietta. Ladybug Week Day 8

Shadow Petals

The hulking creature crashed through a clothing store, people running from the chaos it was causing. While everyone was running away from the beast, two girls ran towards it.

The two girls stopped right in front of the monstrosity and began to gauge the situation.

“Well, there goes date night!” The shorter one said, dark brown and red tipped hair covered some of her face.

“I know but right now we need to take this thing down before anyone gets hurt!” the taller one said, black hair that had a purple shine waves a bit from a gentle breeze and at the top of her head was two cat ears.

“Right, ready Blake?”

“Ready, Ruby!”

The two girls made sure the area was clear of any bystanders and witnesses and once they were sure. They began their transformation

“Crescent Rose!” As Ruby called out a large Red wolf appeared by her side

“Gambol Shroud!” Blake called out and soon a large Black panther appeared at her side

“LINK UP!” they two shouted and with a flash of red and purple. Once the energy dissipated the two girls had transform into different outfits

Ruby now had a Red Cloak with a head and was wearing black form fitting jumpsuit with brown knee high combat boots and silver bracers with fingerless gloves.

Blake had something similar to a ninja suit and armori. She wore a black yoroi with a purple sash wrapped around her waist and black hakama pants that were split on the side, as well as light armor on her shins and feet and arms and a white cat mask with red markings that covered her upper face.

The Beast looked over at the two warriors that dared to interrupt its rampage.

Ruby pulled a large red scythe while Blake pulled a katana. The young women took a fighting stance as the beast decided to take its aggression out on the two.

“What’s the plan Ruby!” Blake asked.

“We each take a side and wear it down!” Ruby said with a smile and a wink.

Blake smiled back and nodded and with that the two charged the monster. The Beast brought its fist up and down but the women were faster dodging it at the last second. The duo then took a swing at the monster's knees. The monster fell forward but caught itself and turned and looked at where its targets had gone. Ruby stared down the monster as it lumbered forward towards them, her mind thinking multiple strategies that would be useful against the beast.

“It’s tougher than it looks,” Blake said as she looked at Ruby.

Ruby simply nodded. “It's not if this big guy was gonna go down that easily, but we do know where its weak spots are and I think I got an idea!”

Blake gave Ruby a look of concern. “It’s not to reckless I hope”

Ruby chuckled. “Phiss nothing to worry about!”

Blake gave Ruby a harder look of concern “Ruby…”

Ruby was a bit surprised “No I mean it, there's nothing to worry about!”

Blake nodded with a smile “Then I’ll follow your lead!”

The two looked at the monster as it began to pick up its pace.

Ruby then called out. “I’ll keep it busy while you bind its legs! NOW LET'S GO!!!”

Ruby charged forward with Blake behind her.

Ruby, using her arcana abilities, turned into red petals and flew in front of the monster's face. The creature was caught off guard by the young girl's sudden appearance but regained its composure when she slashed at its face. She then transformed into the red petal cloud and moved to another angle before the monster could even swipe at her. Ruby continued to play tag with the monster while Blake pulled out a chain sickle and dug it into the ground and ran to wrap the chain around the beast's legs. Once she was down she took her katana out and dug it into the ground with the chain wrapped around it.

“Ruby done!” Blake shouted

Ruby nodded and dashed towards the opposite side where Blake was.

“HEY GRIM BOY, OVER HERE!!!” Ruby shouted which caught the beast's attention.

As the grim tried to move Blake pulled her sickle out and , with the momentum of the monster's charge, was able to slice the beast's legs. As it fell forward, Ruby ready her scythe and leapt up and sliced off the monster's head, the beast had fallen.

Its body soon began to disintegrate and revealed a man with silver hair.

“Cardin… I should have known.” Ruby said with a frown “He must’ve given into the Grim taint. I honestly thought he was stronger than that… better.”

“I thought so too… but this just proves the grim taint is getting worse.” Blake added

The two were then interrupted by the sounds of police and ambulance sirens

“We should make our exit!” Blake said with Ruby nodding.

The two made their exit with Ruby looking back with disappointment. As the two left, a young boy with dark chocolate hair and freckles popped out from his hiding space. All he could say was “Blake and Ruby?”

After some time the two women were back in the normal clothing they were wearing before the fight.

Blake stretched out and noticed Ruby’s worried appearance.

“Ruby, what's wrong? If you’re worried about Cardin, you know that once someone is freed from Grimmifacaton they only get a headache, that's all.

Ruby shook her head “It’s not that… will be a little but it’s just… earlier, it felt like you didn’t trust my plan!”

Blake, taken back and her cat ears flattened against her head. “Oh… that… I’m sorry about that, it's just… The last time

Ruby interrupted. “Blake, that was a miscalculation and I said…

Blake interrupted Ruby this time. “No, I know… I should be more trusting…

It was Ruby's turn to interject. “No Blake, it’s okay! I appreciate your concern! I promise to be more careful, I will!

Blake smiled and closed the distance between the two of them. “...And I promise to be more trusting!

Blake pulled Ruby into a hug and after a while the two shared a sweet kiss. The two know what they were getting into when they joined the arcanian hunters and Together they will face any danger together while saving the world.

     THE CHROMATICA BALL TOUR FASHION CREDITS

It feels like forever since she announced it, but Lady Gaga finally launched her highly anticipated “The Chromatica Ball” stadium summer world tour! The setlist was divided into five acts, opening with a trio of fan favorites.

Fashion director Nicola Formichetti made sure that fans got a visual treat, not only musically. Styling by power-duo Sandra Amador and Tom Eerebout with assistance by Hunter Clem. Hair by Frederic Aspiras and glam by Sarah Tanno-Stewart using Haus Laboratories.

Gaga opened the tour singing her biggest hits inside of a transformer meets sarcophagus creation custom designed by Gareth Pugh, who also made her grey structured sculpturesque cocoon armor with tonal "stitching", leather puff-sleeve top and belted leather paper-bag trousers, based on his Fall/Winter 2018 collection.

Underneath, she wore a custom Atsuko Kudo Joy matte silver sleeveless latex bodysuit with mock neck. You’ll see another one later in this post!

Her dancers all wear bespoke HUGO BOSS grey tailored looks.

A bunch of new names worked on the fashion of this tour. Boyd Baten’s Barcelona-based “futuristic style brand” Divamp Couture being one of them! They created these polished and embossed brutalism-inspired Monoblocks.

Mother Monster sang "Alice" while sporting this otherworldly custom Topo Studio NY Muscle Detail sequined red sheer organza and liquid silk lamé ripped and ruched trapunto gown with dramatic shoulders.

Underneath, she revealed this sickening custom Vex Clothing x Yummy Gummy Latex blood-inspired sleeveless latex mock neck bodysuit which is part of their "Vol. 22" collection.

The insane PVC pipe metal & molded leather choker is part of a custom stage look designer Assaad Awad originally created for her "Enigma" Vegas residency!

Her opera-length fingerless black leather gloves are the Fergie by Paula Rowan.

Throughout the show, Gaga danced around in these custom Haus of Gaga over-the-knee black leather combat boots.

Her red quilted puff shoulder jacket, she added during “Monster”, is from Iran-born Germany-based emerging designer AZIZ...

...which she combined with her favorite Komono x Tom Eerebout M Whiskey Coke sunglasses.

For the second segment of the show, LG explored her fetishgear side by rocking this bondage-inspired black PVC spike shoulder top with harness-style buckles, based on the Eclipse top by SINRGY! Also by them: her elbow pad and fingerless neoprene gloves with PVC panels.

The deconstructed, asymmetrical stretch jersey bodysuit and trousers, both featuring PVC panels, are fruit of a collaboration between her sister's label Topo Studio NY and longtime collaborator Muto-Little Costumes.

She crowned the look with a custom Noel Stewart black PVC biker cap – which gives me incredible "The Fame" era vibes!

Next, LG rocked a custom Alexander McQueen molten metallic gold moiré tromp l'œil double lapel cropped tailored blazer, sleeveless shirt and wide-legged trousers!

Another fan favorite look was the stunning Topo Studio NY creation she whipped out for "Free Woman" — clearly a nod to Ballroom culture (Paris is Burning, anyone?).

The extravagant coat is hand-crafted from pleated gold lamé and features avant-garde sleeves, layered pagoda shoulders and a stand-up collar.

Later, she added this bespoke Philip Treacy lobster claw-inspired golden headpiece.

For the dancers, Perry Meek created 16 gold & white looks in only 5 days while Lara Jensen made a dozen of fabulous gold headpieces in the shapes of wings, orbs and orbits. 

While playing her tree piano, Gaga changed into a Atsuko Kudo Joy sleeveless black latex mock neck bodysuit.

She also brought back her custom Xtian de Medici Chromataphore helmet headpiece constructed from therman plastics, vinyl and various pigments he developed for the color. Xtian used a special high tech pigment similar to the pigment that gives butterflies their color!

For her next dates, she whipped out this purple & black latex bodysuit with high collar and jet crystal embellishments that was custom-made for her by Dead Lotus Couture.

Gaga then danced to "Stupid Love" and "Rain on Me" wearing Alexander McQueen Resort 2023 eyelet-embellished cropped leather biker jacket and crystal embroidered long laser-cut harness.

For “Hold my Hand”, she replaced the previous jacket with an archival KTZ Fall/Winter 2011 deconstructed leather biker jacket. She had the shoulder lapels of hers encrusted with jet crystals.

Lastly, she wore her Gary Fay Creations album cover-worn Tree bone-shaped claw hand, with each part of the fingers moving individually.
